I awoke to the sight of 12 empty seats before me, my memory hazy, a sense of grogginess that I could not place. How did I end up here? How did I survive? The only memories I had were when Sora dealt me a blow of great mortality. I remember reaching out for my Ethereal blades, only to find myself slowly fading away. It was as if the very air around me was eating at my body. All I could do was glare in vain as my life came to an end. My vision fading, strangely enough, any form of discomfort or pain I was experiencing was completely gone. As if it had never happened, there was no explanation as to why I was here, Where Nothing Gathers. I reached out my hands as if to test the limberness of my joints, and sure enough, I had complete feeling in them. Evidenced by my Ethereal blades that shot out from the palms of my hands. I could not believe my great fortune, instead of returning to nothing, I was here, this was not a dream after all. If there was ever a better sign to rebuild the Organization to be bigger and better than it was before. Then it was here and now, but first, I needed to find allies. However, I will not face the same mistakes that I did in my previous life.

So, I set off for Twilight Town, what better location to scout for more members than the town that rests at the edge of light and darkness. The Twilight, or so it was aptly named, this is where I will find my number II. A dark corridor opened up before me, as if heeding my thoughts. A dark portal appeared seemingly out of thin air. After a brief pause, I walked through the shadowy waypoint as it closed behind me. Emerging from the other side, I appeared in what seemed to be the clock tower plaza. The moment I set foot in this world, I could sense the presence of a powerful individual. As if drawing my gaze, I could feel it at the top of the clock tower. In the distance I saw a girl, my interest piqued, I debated on how I would approach her. Should I employ fear? Manipulation? Force? Looking back on the choices I had made in the past, while these tactics seemed effective, they only ended up driving a wedge between the old Organization. This required a new approach, while I could not feel genuine emotion, I could at least try to act like I cared. What did I have to lose?

Sea salt ice cream came to mind, I honestly could not remember why that pooped into my head, but it was better than standing around looking conspicuous. I headed towards the nearest moogle shop and ordered two of the presumably tasty treats. Afterward, I headed to the top of the clock tower, where I found her. She was wearing black ripped jeans, a black t-shirt with matching shoes and black spiked wristbands. Her long blue hair was tied up in a black ribbon. An interesting choice of clothes, not that I knew anything about fashion.

I handed her an ice cream, and she accepted it without so much as a word, I sat down next to her, feeling uneasy about this sea salt ice cream. After everything I have been through at this point, this was the cause of my anxiety. We just sat there in silence as I bit into my treat, a mix of sweet and then salty flavors coming in. As if fighting for dominance in my mouth.

After a while, the girl next to me finally spoke up and said, "I'm not normal, am I?" It wasn't surprising, with her imposing aura, that she would have figured out there was something different about herself. The sweet and salty taste in my mouth was distracted by her question, "No, you're not normal." You are what we call a "Nobody". As individuals who are merely a shell of their former selves, we Nobodies lack the ability to experience feelings and emotions. Although we may experience them in certain instances, it is not a frequent or common occurrence for us. She just sat there in silence, no doubt processing the gravity of her situation. While the girl sat there, I finished the rest of my ice cream, glancing over, I noticed that she had already finished all of hers. "If you join me, then you can reclaim your heart and become complete. No longer will you be shackled by the chains of apathy and decadence, rising from my seat. I turned to leave her to her devices. However, before I could leave she stopped me and said," Okay, but what do we do to gain a heart? I can't just sit around doing nothing." I turned to face her and simply said, "Kingdom Hearts, when Kingdom Hearts is complete, then we can finally, truly exist." Her eyes, purple eyes, lit up at my rousing speech. A look of what I would dare say is hope? Something that still evaded me as a possibility for people like us.

"What is your name, child?" I asked, sensing great potential from this young lady, my first new member. "My name? You can call me Luna. I do not have very many memories up to this point, but that won't stop me from seeing this Kingdom Hearts you talked about." That determination she exhibited is undoubtedly what we needed, this was going much more smoothly than I had anticipated.

"Well, Luna, I shall take you to our new home, where only Nobodies such as us are welcome." Snapping my fingers as darkness devoured the two of us. When the darkness disappeared, the two of us reappeared in Where Nothing Gathers. A room with thirteen seats, all gathered almost like a round table of sorts. With two spots filled, we only required eleven more members before we were back to full force again.

"Welcome to the World That Never Was, a world that only welcomes people of our kind. This room acts as a meeting room of sorts." This time, things will be different, it has to be, I cannot waste this second chance at a new life.
