Chapter 3 tournament begins.
Hello there fishbreed here I hope you are enjoying your self, and if you think i'm rushing through dragon ball you would be correct because I want to get to z or kai because there is where the most interesting events happen.
Anyhow lets get on to the story.
Recap: in the previous chapter our hero? Fighters? Fighters trained for 8 whole months to prepare for the world martial arts tournament with Roshi, they did things like… deliver milk? And… plow fields for farms? And did construction work… hmm well then, I hope they got stronger from that because from the looks of it there opponents are strong.
The early morning came and the boys did as they usually do, take a bath, brush there teeth, and got dress wearing launches presents, and walked early to get ready for the world martial arts tournament.
"How strong do you think our opponents will be Alex," Goku asked as all of us started walking to the building where the elimination matches start.
sigh* "your never gonna stop with that are you. Well if its important I think they would if they are confident in entering this tournament," I said while grumbling about my nickname.
"Yikes, if you think there strong Alex we might already be toast," Krillin said to which I sigh.
"Oh wait, boys before you enter I have something for you," master Roshi said while putting down the suitcase he had with him. "Well since I trained you and all, and it would look weird fighting in a suit I made you these," Roshi said as he pulled out an orange gi with a logo on the left side of the chest that spells out turtle in kanji.
"Wow thank you master Roshi, and your right fighting in a suit would look weird," Goku said as he slowly took off his suit.
"Wow thank you master i'll cherish these for the rest of my life," Krillin said as he received the gi.
"Wow never expected you to do this master," I said.
"Huh, dam disrespectful brat, who wouldn't do this, any self respecting master worth there salt would do this," he said as he gave me the gi.
"Yehhhh," I said.
We all took of our suits and master Roshi took them an put it in his case and we wore our new clothing, Goku, Krillin and me looked every similar to each other, aside from our different length in clothing.
"Wow," me, Krillin, and Goku looked at our clothing.
"This looks so cool," Goku and Krillin said.
"These are quite baggy," I said.
"Yeh they are," Goku said.
"Well these are for martial arts so you would need to be able to move around in these," Krillin said intellectually.
"Well now boys no need to dilly dally and go, the tournament is about to begin," master Roshi said while he shewed us away.
And so we waved our goodbye and say our thanks to master Roshi and walked over to wards a building, and as we were entering Roshi was waving until we were about to enter, as Goku and Krillin went ahead of me I see master Roshi sigh and walk towards a bush covering himself from my vision.
As we fully enter the building we were gathered with a bunch of people some were stretching, some were lifting large weights that are heavy enough to bend the bar, some were flying around the room showing there agility and martial arts.
"Alright everyone, is everyone here all 400 competitors? Well if you aren't we will be starting shortly anyway," a man with a round build in a blue button up shirt while holding a clip board said while a small dog person wearing a orange kimono with a sash running over from his left to the bottom right, and he held a small box.
"Alright everyone if you could kindly come here and pick a paper in this box, and you know the deal, form a neat line, take only one piece of paper, don't take to long, no pushing, and please no trading," he said as he brought a pen to his clip board.
We all lined up and waited for only 30 or so minutes. When we got our papers we went to check where our standing would be.
"So whats your numbers guys," Krillin asked. "Before you ask mine is 93,"
"I have a 7 and a 0," Goku said.
"That's 70, and i'm 113," I said.
"Ok so where are we," Krillin said.
"Well it looks like you guys are in block 2," a older male voice sounded, and we all looked where the sound originated.
"Yamcha!," Goku said as soon as we recognize the person from last night.
"Hello," Krillin said.
"Hello mr. Yamcha," I said.
"Yamcha is alright," he said.
"Alright Yamcha what is your number," I asked.
"Well i'm 35 in block 1 and you seem to be in block 3 seeing as how you got one of the higher number," he said.
"Yeh and from the looks of it Krillin and Goku are in block 2," I said.
"What me and Goku are in the same block, oh no I don't want to face Goku," Krillin said in a panic.
"Well were in opposite sides so we don't have to fight," he said as he remembered what the announcer said.
"Ohh, well to bad," Krillin said as he got his confidence back.
"Wait, what?" Alexander said.
"Yeh if you haven't heard the contestants who are about to reach the finals will move to the main tournament," Yamcha said informing our young Alexander.
"Ahhh, ok thanks," I said.
"You seem to have it quite easy Yamcha all the way away from Goku," Krillin said.
"Yeh I guest," he said while shrugging.
"Aha, so you were scared to fight Goku as well," Krillin said while snapping his fingers.
"Not exactly, Because I want to fight Goku in the finals, so you better not lose alright Goku," he said as he held out his fist for a fist bump.
"Alright," Goku said as he bumped fist with Yamcha with a twinkle in his eyes.
"Well i'll be off now my match is about to start," he said as he walked towards block 1.
"How can you guys be so confident," Krillin said.
"I don't know, it just happens," Goku said.
"Well if its natural or not i'm going to be going to my block now so good luck guys," I said as I walked over to block 3, and I pass a tall dude with a skinny build, and a rotund person with a heavy build, they were wearing the same gi as Krillin when we were training, and mentally noted that baldness seems to be staple for there group.
I watched a multitude of fights 7 to be in total, but most of those were roshi telling us different martial arts and to be prepared but it was kind of stupid since he did it last minute, though I noted down mentally that they seem to be slow and varying, from big and slow to small and fast, and the big guys seems to be very proud of there size almost making the word brawn equals no brain almost true, the faster opponent's tend to win those outcomes, and the smaller opponents seem to be more cautious and hesitant to fight a larger opponent, but the moves they do are wide and heavily disappointing.
"Number 113, and 114 please come to the stage," the man in a blue button up polo said, and so I entered the ring and faced of against an opponent who is small compared to the big guys but is a fully adult male.
"Hey who let the kid in," some random dude said.
"Don't go to hard on him alright," another one said.
"Ow no it's a child what will he ever do," another, and some continued to taunt me for my size but I just ignored him.
"I suggest you to surrender young one for I do not want to heavily hurt you," my opponent said.
"Well why don't you come and try it," I said.
"Very well, I hope you won't come to regret this," he said as he got both his hands out and clinched his fingers.
"I hope you won't either," I taunted as I stand side ways and lower my self a bit making my hands slightly dangle.
'What is this child doing, he has so many openings' the opponent thought.
"Prepare yourself for my lion fist," he said as he rushed at Alexander.
"That sounds like a stupid name," I said as I went out of my pose and just stood there normally.
"Well then prepare yourself,"
As soon as he got close he instantly strikes out his hands aiming for my head, but as soon as he got close I ducked disappearing from his sight leaving something like an after image behind, and landed a fist to his gut staggering him and making him kneel down in pain and shortly after passed out, everyone in the crowd didn't believe what they just witnessed, seeing a small boy just defeated an adult martial artist that looked very strong.
"Well the winner is number 113," the referee said.
"Alright number 115 and 116 pls come to the stage after the medics has escorted 114 out of the ring," he said as two people come in and pick him up with a stretcher and go.
After that I just waited and stared being bored of the fights until I saw blue hair sticking out of one of the windows around the top of the building I didn't know who it was at first, until I saw the girl's face then I remember her from last night as Bulma, the one who bandaged me when I was injured, next to her was a cat that we also met from last night, but they disappeared after a while.
After some idle observation I finally saw Goku's fight and he took down a giant dude with a huge mustache down, and then Krillin kicking one of his colleagues all the way to the other side, breaking the wall and creating a hole that allows us to see the other side.
"Wow nice kick Krillin," I said after I walked to the celebrating duo.
"Thank you Alex, and it seems like you won your fight to," he said.
"It's Alexander, but yeh it wasn't to hard," I said.
"See I knew master Roshi's training really did pay off," Goku said.
"I guess it really did," Krillin and I said.
"Lets all make it to the finals alright," Goku said and both me and krillin nodded.
After that we all fought our fight, there were no problem from all sides, though I did ask Bulma to buy me a snack with the money I had on me because it was so slow that I got hungry for a snack in the middle of waiting for my fights, and then my last opponent came.
"Number 114 and 122 pls come to the stage," he said as I and a girl with violet haired curly afro looking hair, stand before me.
"Well well look what we have here, brave little man arent you," she said seductively at Alexander but it mostly bounced from him. "So can you kindly move out of the stage before big sister spanks you,"
"Sorry but no, I made a promise with my friend so i'm gonna kick your ass," I said and to which she just giggled.
"Well then I hope your ready," as she ran towards me and launching a punch.
I caught it while moving my hand backwards to somewhat absorb the impact but suddenly noticed a scorching hot feeling in my hand, at first it felt uncomfortable but then slowly built to unbearable and so with a grunt and a stronger squeeze a crack could be heard then a loud scream from her could be heard to which I silenced with a foot to her face knocking her out.
"Well number 114 advances to the main event, now if you could move to the main match," he said as another group of people came and picked her up with stretchers.
"Hey kid you could have gone easier on her you know," the referee whispered into my ear.
"Well I did try, but I just reacted because she seemingly heat up her punches and I just move instinctually, so i'm sorry but most of them shouldn't be as hurt as the first guy I beat," I whispered back.
"Well alright, so just wait around for the next round ok," he said.
"Ok," I said and ran towards Goku and Krillin as they were about to finish there battles.
"Hello guys," I said as I got to Goku and Krillin.
"Hello Alex you finished with yours?" Goku asked.
"Yeh. What about you guys?" I said.
"Well me and Yamcha are done with ours so we're waiting for Krillin and the next one should be his last," he said as I waved to Yamcha and he just raised two fingers and smiled, and shortly after Krillin fought and defeated a bear man or just a giant fox man in a taekwondo gi.
"Yay, we all made it," all three of us cheered as we hugged each other and jumped.
"Alright the elimination matches have now finished, we will give the advancing fighters 10 minutes until it starts," the referee said as we then ran outside to look for our master to tell him the good news, but as we were leaving I saw an old man with blue hair but white facial hair that reminded me of master Roshi, but I didn't give it more thought since he had hair, and followed Goku and Krillin outwards.
"Where do you think master Roshi is," Goku said as we were looking for 5 minutes now.
"I don't know, we cant see much with all these legs blocking our path," Krillin said what he had observed.
"Well I got a plan," I said to which Goku and Krillin looked at me and asked what? "Come here Goku," I said as Goku got closer.
"Alright when I launch you you look for master alright," I said.
"Ohh, alright i'm ready," Goku said as he squats down prepared to jump. To which I did launch him up but not to high to not distinguish anyone.
"I found him, come," Goku said as soon as he landed and me and Krillin followed him, as we follow Goku we could hear an angry scream.
"YOU, PERVERT," a familiar screech could be heard as then an old man was seen being launched from the crowd.
"Wow Bulma if you could deliver that kind of punch, you should have join the tournament yourself," I heard from someone I had only met once and so I know it was oolong.
"Well that's what he gets for being a pervert," she said as she caresses her hand from the pain.
"Oolong," Goku yelled out to his friends as we got there.
"Goku wowzas you were amazing out there," he said as he staked Goku's hands.
"Yeh we were cheering for you and your friends the whole time," Bulma said.
"Yeh all three of you are very strong," the floating cat said who I could not remember the name of.
"Well done boys I knew you could do it," master Roshi said as he caresses his beard after being hit by Bulma.
"Thank you master Roshi," me and Goku said.
"Its alright master Roshi, to be frank it was almost like a dream, but I was sure we could win with your training," Krillin said nervously.
"The world martial arts tournament is about to begin, and if you are one of the 8 finalist please enter the main building that is directly connected to the arena," an announcer said.
"Well you boys better get going now," Bulma said.
"Guess so," Goku said, while me and Krillin just bowed and jump over a wall to find the main building.
"Ow, i'll look for you guys in the crowd ok, so seeya," Goku said as he fully disappeared from there view.
"Good luck out there," oolong said as we went to look for the main area,"
"How strong do you think the opponents will be," Krillin said.
"Well they got to be strong to make it this far," Goku said.
"Well for one thing, Goku's got a point so its best not to hold back in this round," I said as I looked for the main building.
As we walked around aimlessly we did the same strategy in finding Roshi and just launched Goku and Krillin to the sky while Alexander jumped, though he did not reach the heights of the boys he did find the arena and they soon entered the building. As soon as they entered all they could see was a group of fighters, there were 4 people already in there, there was Yamcha, an person with brown skin and clothing that only covered half of his upper body while wearing a weird hat(AN: Alexander does not know what namu wears and so do i) and the old guy I saw before we left, and a dragon looking dude.
While Goku chatted with Yamcha and Krillin starred at namu, I starred suspiciously at the old man I just had a feeling that I have seen him before, I just couldn't put my finger on it, but while we were deep in though a sickening smell wafted over all of us, as a man wearing only black underwear walked bay.
"Who's, the, stink, man," asked as he held his nose (AN: that does not exist) for deer life.
"That's bacterian , his got Herculean strength but that comes in second to his destructive oder, they say he has never taken a bath since the day he was born, he always wins his matches because his opponents were to busy trying to stop the smell so generally his opponents fight one handed and he takes advantage of that," he informed us.
"That's literally a dirty trick," Krillin said
"God dam it I feel like my body is trying to kill me," I said.
"I think i'm gonna pass out from his stench," Goku added.
As you know the same thing happened in the anime, the tournament is explained, the rules and what not after drawing lots everyone go the same matches and everyone pitted Krillin for he has to fight a literal stink monster, but mostly nothing changes aside from Alexander taking ranfan's place.
"Alright can Alexander and namu enter the ring for the third quarter finals," the announcer said as Alexander and namu bow to each other.
"I am sorry little one but I must win for my village," he said as he stood before me.
"Well then i'm sorry to mr. namu but I made a promise and I intent to keep it," I said as I stood there.
"Alright 1, 2, 3, go," the announcer said as namu was the one to make the first move.
He rushed towards me and made a chopping motion with his hands and when he does Alexander dodges by going under, and Alexander kicks at his feet to trip him, making him fall face first to the floor while feeling someone grab him by the feet he instantly knew that I was gonna throw him off the stadium, and so what he did was use his weight advantage on me and spun himself to escape my grasp.
Before I could react in time he had already jumped towards me trying to kick me off the stadium, but I stood there and took his attack and while trying to grab his legs again he used me as a trampoline and jumped landing on his feet.
"I never thought I would have to use this on a child but I must fulfill my destiny and my promise to my people," he said as he jumped high into the sky to which slightly blinded me but I could still see his silhouette, and ass he began to crash down I swiftly dodge to the left and kicked him out of the ring before he could land in the pavement.
After this namu was upset but after learning about his reason I instantly thought of something, but before I could say anything jacky chun came in and helped namu out, I followed them and he just explained about the well and that water is free in places like the big city, after hearing that I went back to spectate more fights, but apparently mine would be the last for the day because rain started to fall, and so for the spectators convenient we moved it to next day where we hoped had no more rain.
Next day roles in and we went looking for Goku as his match was about to begin, so we woke him up and he ran to the platform to fight and the fight was interesting because Goku suddenly popping a tail out of nowhere though slightly shocking it was more comedic when Goku played around with it and then proceeded to break a wall with a kick, shortly after Goku broke the gum thing the dragon dude placed on Goku giren or something but I digress as before Krillin's match we were called to stand on stage.
"Now I know that this was abrupt but I would like all of you to kindly look at what these three boys are wearing, matching uniforms, and you what that means they all came from the same school of martial arts, and i'll ask the question you all want to know, who is your master boys," the announcer said while pointing the mike at all of us.
"But before that I would like to ask how old you boys are, since you seem to be the youngest out of all the contestants this year but still dominating the matches," the announcer asked.
"Well i'm 13," Krillin said.
"What about you Goku," he asked
"Well i'm," as he counted on his fingers. "I'm 12 currently," he said.
"Wow really your younger than me," Krillin asked,
"Yeh since 13 comes after 12," Goku said.
"Well dam I guess i'm the oldest out of all of us," Alexander said.
"Wait really?" Krillin said.
"Yeh i'm currently 15 or 16 now since we did train for nearly a whole year," I said
"Ah ha ha, well then boys with that aside, lets get back to the original question, who is your master," the announcer asked.
"Well that would be master Roshi," Krillin said.
"Ohh my, now this all makes sense now, no wonder you boys are so strong for your age," he said. "So what is training with the most legendary martial artist known to man like?,"
"Well nothing much, its all pretty standard if you think about it," I said,
"Oh ho, care to share the details," he said while pointing the mike to Alexander.
"Alright, Well we wake up early in the morning to stretch like 3:30am and we deliver milk around a small island while running miles.. (ect you know the drill)
"Uhh well that's kind of shocking to say the least," he said as he wiped sweat from his face. After that he asked some more questions mostly random things.
And so after all his questioning Jacky chun and Krillin was called fort to fight but before that he performed a dance though it was confusing I just looked at goku and he knew what I was thinking and we dance along, after that the fight began and after a long and fierce battle everything was the same as cannon but this time Krillin didn't throw out panties to distract him but instead he noticed that he got distracted when a girl cheered for him, Krillin just yelled out that there was a girl in a super revealing bikini and got him that way, but neither the less jacky chun won the battle and next up was me and Goku's battle and both of us got ready for this battle.
"Good luck Alex," Goku said
"You to Goku," I replied.
As the announcer finished counting down me and Goku launched at each other Goku throwing a punch at me, I caught it with my left hand and launched a kick at him with my right leg, he avoided it by using his tail to slightly dodge my kick, but as he dodged it I used the force of the kick to spin and slam Goku at the wall of the tournament directly at the face of the other side where Goku didn't break with his kick but broke with his body.
Goku got up shortly and used his rock paper scissors on me but I blocked, dodged and deflected it after that didn't work we launched a full assault at each other throwing punches and kicks at each other.
Goku went on a rapid barrage of punches after a few seconds Alexander got Goku to spin around after a wide punch made through frustration, as soon as Goku's back was facing Alexander, Alexander raised his fist and an image of a imaginary huge bear could be seen behind him as it dropped its palm along with Alexander, Goku spun around quick enough to see and react to it, but as he blocked it the tile he stood on had a visible crack on it.
Goku soon went on the offensive with his other hand aiming for his gut, but it was deflected by Alexander raising his right leg, then another astral imaginary person could be spotted behind him a man with a bandana on his bicep, as he then proceeded to do a front kick as Alexander's foot slammed on Goku's arms that block it.
Goku after Receiving the impact jumped and slammed his fist on Alexanders head, but before it could hit another image could be seen behind Alexander, a blond man who was lean and muscular slide to the right and Alexander did so as well and performed a screw punch as Alexander followed, and Alexander's fist slammed on Goku's cheek launching him to the cracked wall and breaking it.
"Whats this, I don't believe it folks if I saw correctly Alexander just performed different schools of martial arts," he said as a man wearing those orange kimono looking uniforms came to him and gave him a piece of paper. "Oh my, if these papers are to be believed Alexander just performed, contestant 338, bearman's signature kuma crush, contestant 372's muay thai front kick, and contestant 185's boxing counter screw blow," he said to his mic.
"This is unbelievable but I think his fellow contestant might be down for the count this time, it said here that the screw blow was made to target organs and with the strength that master Roshi's training has given these boys I don't think-," he was cut of as Goku jumped out of the rubble while holding his cheek.
"Aw that really hurt you know," Goku said.
"Well aren't we fighting to win?" I said as I shrugged my shoulders.
"True but you don't have to go that hard on me," Goku said
"Sorry but no can do Goku but we can continue if you want," I said to which Goku responded by charging at me.
To which I widened my stance bent leg forward and stretched leg back, as soon as Goku got in striking range a silhouette of man appeared behind Alexander and proceeded to thrust his fist to fast it became blurry and Alexander recognized this move, but as soon as it almost hit Goku, Goku disappears as if he was never there Alexander swing his hand like a whip behind him the same as a man with a bald head and braided mustache appeared behind him.
As soon as he performed the move Goku was not there, but instead he was above him but it was to late for Alexander as Goku slammed both of his feet down at Alexander, Alexander felt the full impact but instead of caving in to the pain he used the force and planted the palm of his hand on the floor and kicked arking his heel kick upward aiming for Goku, but it missed as Goku used his tail to thrust to the sky narrowly dodging the blow.
"Ugh, my head," I said as everything was spinning.
"How do you like this huh, crazy monkey technique," Goku said as he started to move and sound like a chimp.
"Well lets see how long that will hold," I said as I lifted a tile and threw it at Goku, to which he dodges with ease.
"Ohh boy it seems like the two students of the legendary master Roshi has a style of there own, one copies martial arts and performs them as if he was the one trained for it, while the other one has such a wild nature that he copied one of mother natures creation, who will win a mimic of life or a mimic of arts," the announcer said as he watch in glee of the boys.
After that Goku and Alexander proceeded to trade strikes hitting each other with such deadly blows it lasted for 5 minutes but the spectators could swear they have been there for hours watching the boys completely try to take each other out to win.
"Well this wont do," Goku said as he jumped back to create some room.
"Ow yeh and what are you gonna do," I said as I rushed at him.
"Well this," Goku said as he became slightly more blurry.
"This trick again," I said as I jumped back as Goku materialized and kicked from the side.
"Hehe," Goku said as he disappeared again.
Goku kept striking and vanishing it went on for a couple of seconds until I had finally predicted his movements to which I then went up with a kick upwards sending him high, I then Proceeded to follow and grab on to him mid air, grabbing his ankles and planting my foot on his armpits to make sure he would land head first and so that he couldn't move as we plummeted down, Goku dropping head first as I hold him down was moving around thinking of anyway to escape.
"Oh my god is he really gonna do that to Goku," Bulma said scared at what Alexander is doing as she watched her friend falling.
"Yeh I knew he was strong and ruthless in battle in the elimination matches, but I never new he would go so low and try to kill is own friend in order to win," Yamcha said as he was shocked at what Alexander was attempting.
"Wait Alexander what are you doing, I know Goku's got a thick skull but I don't think he will survive being dropped head first from that hight!!!," Krillin yelled out in panic.
'Dam it I didn't expect it from a silent and kind kid like Alexander, I knew he was to brutal in the elimination match but I thought it was just because he couldn't control to much of his power,' Roshi thought as he feared that one of his students were in grave danger by the hand of another student.
But right before He could complete the move Goku used his tail and smacked alexander in the face, making Alexander let go and blinded Alexander from the fur of goku's tail, and so Goku took that as an initiative as soon as he felt he could move and was about to hit the ground he instantly recovered landing feet first then jumped at me hitting almost to the edge of the ring, relieving everyone who was worried for Goku
"Augh," I said while I spit and rubbed my eyes from his tail fur. "That was unexpected," I said.
"I know right, I almost forgot that my tail grew back hehe," he said. Making those who were spectating to wonder if they are alright in the head, because they are talking casually after one just tried to kill the other.
"Alright enough games Goku lets fight for real this time," I said as I dropped to a stance, that looked like a mash up than a proper stance, his fingers were flexed, his feet were apart, and his body was low. (it looks like teakwondo stance but with his fingers on the tiger stance thing.)
"Alright," Goku said as he responded with is own stance,
Alexander smirked and launched himself to Goku but only a couple of feet away he became blurry and Goku noticed what he was trying to do and struck behind him, but struck nothing and instead felt a sharp pain from his side as Alexander did a double afterimage, Goku dropped and started coughing from the pain as his body felt incredible pain from that one strike.
"Did my eyes deceive me or did I just see triple," Krillin said as he rubbed his eyes.
"No you weren't," Roshi said as he began to sweat at the talent of his students.
Alexander jumped and dropped an axe kick towards Goku's spine, but before it could connect Goku recovered and leaped back dodging the kick but still staggered from being hit in a weak spot, sweating and vision blurry he leaped at a silhouette, Alexander not expecting this from Goku got shoulder checked in the stomach making him lose air and launched to the edge of the small ring, Alexander landed at the edge shaking to regain his breath, from their long battle both boys were incredibly tired, and so Goku fell down and proceeded to gather his strength by huffing and puffing to get as much air as he could in his tiny body.
"Guys hello? We have a match to go to," the announcer said in his mic, as both children shakily stud up but didn't instantly attack but rested for a bit.
"It seems like both our fighters have given it there all and have decided to take a small break from the impressive spectacle they had just displayed," he said to his mic.
"This is taking longer than I had expected, so, want to finish this in one attack," goku said as he had regained more of his breath again.
"Yeh sure why not, give me everything you got," Alexander said as he fully stud up.
"Alright ill show you a move I got from master roshi when he destroyed a mountain, ka-me-ha-me.-," he said as he charged up a kamehame wave shocking everyone in the crowd, Roshi shocked that he has actually practiced the technique he had seen once and performed once and just thought it was a fluke.
But to everyone's surprise Alexander followed Goku and proceeded to charge his own, the two that knew Alexander the best did not expect this, one thought that he got special lessons while the other was just shocked that he is actually trying, but neither knew the truth because in all honesty it was just all luck and adrenalin fueling his movements.
As he saw how Goku's energy gathered towards his palm he then proceeded to copy his movements while trying imagining his energy gather to his palm but there was something different, it was Alexander's fist that started glowing blue and not a ball around his palms, and as he could feel it gather he did not resist not from the lack of trying but the lack of will power and consciousness to do so but with a hazy mind and a determined soul he pushed himself and one adrenalin rush later, he began to grit his teeth, clinched his fist till his knuckles turn nearly bone white, dug his feet into the tiles cracking it in order to make foot holds, and allowed his energy to gather in his fist for one last ditch effort.
"Ha!!!," Goku yelled out while he pushed his hands forward, as a blue blinding beam was shot forward it was large enough to engulf Alexander.
Alexander didn't see this, both exhausted and drained from the fight made his eyes blurry, but he had a gut feeling that if he had let this hit him it would be over, and so with a mighty roar and adrenalin cursing through his veins he thrusted his fist forward, and like a tank full of water being released a massive force of energy was shot out aimed towards the deadly beam Goku had sent towards him.
As soon as both meet In the middle of the two crazed warriors a blinding light shot out everywhere making everyone turn and cover themselves from the blast, and a loud eruption of energy could be heard then a loud thud could be heard like flesh forcibly crashed through a wall.
Smoke blew everywhere blocking the view but it then cleared soon and they could see a silhouette of a young boy's body in the ring with the other one nowhere at sight, everyone held there breath for who made it until it fully cleared and Goku was left standing, but they couldn't find Alexander nowhere and suspected the worst, until the smoke fully faded and a part of the exterior wall around the ring was broken and under that rubble alexander was spotted.
Noticing the boy under the rubble they sent out the medics to help him, after a little time of silence mostly from shock and disbelief a voice could be heard in the ring.
"Yay I won," Goku cheered to himself and soon the crowed went wild cheering on goku as he had won a battle they could never expect from such young fighters, forgetting that goku had another fight entirely, after this the same thing would happen in cannon Goku vs jacky chun aka master Roshi, after the announcer noticed that it was not the end.
But before it started Goku got a quick rest and was allowed to eat, then it started and as in the story the fight last long enough for the moon to come out and Goku sees full moon and return to monkey surprises everyone, Roshi destroyed moon impresses everyone with his strength and Roshi wins, Roshi takes of his wig but this time Alexander sees this and makes a deal with Roshi.
"Hello master Roshi," Alexander's voice could be heard shocking a master Roshi midway on removing his glued on wig.
"Hi," Alexander said as his face came out of the bush he was hiding in, shocking master Roshi as he fell and the wig comes of showing his reddened shiny head.
"Alexander," Roshi said. "Pls don't tell the others it was me," Roshi begged.
"Sure but only with a favor," he said as he fully got out of the bush.
"As long as its not to outlandish," he said.
"Teach me how you do that muscle form and teach both of us on how to do the kamehameha, deal? And by us I mean me and Krillin," Alexander said as he stuck out his hand for a shake.
"Only those?" Master Roshi asked skeptically.
"Yes," Alexander replied with a smile
"Sure deal," he said with a little questioning on his tone since he only asked for those and nothing more.
After there deal Alexander and Roshi went to where everyone was waiting, just outside the arena.
"Look its master Roshi," Goku said as he saw Roshi and Alexander walking towards them.
"Well look who decided to show up huh?" Bulma greeted the old perv with a bit of edge on her tone.
"Hehe, good fight out there boys, specially you Goku, seeing as how you made it to the finals and all," he said.
"Thank you master but sadly I didn't win," Goku said.
"Are you sad that you didn't win Goku?" Roshi asked with a more formal tone.
"No actually because with this, it shows that there are more people out there that are stronger than me," Goku bounced back with excitement.
"Hmmm, and with that you have finished my lessons," he said wisely.
Everyone besides Alexander and Goku looked at the old man with confusion in there faces because for once he actually taught Goku something.
"Speaking of which, where were you master Roshi," Krillin asked.
"Why do you ask? You should have seen me in the crowd when Goku and Alexander fought," he said sweating a little.
"Well I did but, I couldn't find you after that," Krillin replied.
For a few moments Roshi stood there in silence thinking up a storm how he could possibly slide out of this one.
"Master was on top of some of the trees," Alexander said to save master Roshi.
"What really?" Krillin said while Yamcha and everyone was skeptic at Alexander.
"What? Its true, I mean look at master Roshi, he is a bit on the short side, and on the final fight of Goku vs jacky chun I saw master on top of the trees when Goku went ape," I said and everyone just nodded.
"Went, ape?," Goku said in questioning but before I could answer Yamcha, the blue cat, the pig and Bulma stopped Alexander before He could answer.
They soon forgot about what Alexander was about to say, mostly because of the 4 who wanted to keep his transformation a secret, and as soon as Krillin was about to ask Goku he got disturbed by none other than Goku's stomach and so with Roshi's quote on quote money we went to eat the night away, and with that Alexander, Goku, and somewhat Krillin nearly put the business out of business from eating all the food they had in stock, even master Roshi's prize money was not enough to fit the bill, so Bulma had to come in and pay for the rest, we all rested until the next day.
"Are you really leaving for that training trip Goku?" Alexander asked.
"Yup, and its not like we will no longer be seeing each other," Goku said while grinning.
"Yeah, because the next tournament is 3 years from now," Krillin said.
"Yeh that's true, but I bet it would feel empty without you around making it lively for us," I said while laughing a little.
"But launch is plenty lively," Krillin said then Alexander and Goku laughed as the three had there goodbyes as Goku went with his yellow cloud, and we waved as he slowly became a spec in the sky until he was gone.
And so our little monkey boy went to explore the world and our two aspiring super martial artist followed the old master Roshi.
"Do you think Goku will be alright all on his own out there?" Krillin said nervously as we walk towards the airport.
"Krillin, have you not listened to Goku when he goes on a rant?" Alexander asked.
"Well…. No since he usually only talks about his grandpa and all that," he said.
"Well to sum it up Goku after his grandfather died like 6 years ago, he has lived all his life in the forest alone, surviving only on what he got and what he hunted," Alexander said as they got inline for there flight back to the island where they had trained. (AN: keep in mind I don't know when Gohan died so i'm just estimating)
"Wow, no wonder Goku was so strong when we first started," Krillin said.
"Yeah, and it explains why Goku's senses are much higher than ours since he had to survive for a long time alone," Alexander said as they got closer to the counter lady in the air port.
"Well you cant really say that since you to have higher than average senses Alexander, being able to pick up martial arts and using them very proficiently," Roshi slides in the conversation.
"Yeah how did you do that Alexander?" Krillin said being hooked in by Roshi's question.
"I'll be honest with you guys, I don't know," Alexander said.
"Well then at the very least answer a bit of it," Krillin said.
"Alright alright," Alexander said as he thought about how he wanted to use those martial arts that he copied. "Well it started when I got bored waiting for my fights, I got interested in some of the fighters since they used different styles, some were similar mostly all of them some used there fist while some used there feet, but how they used it was the most interesting ones, and after that I just imagined most of the fights but imagined how useful there skills would be in situations, big example is the Cuma crush or something, I used it when Goku was down reducing his recovery time and making his legs take most of the damage but it clearly didn't work," Alexander ranted on and both Krillin and Roshi were stunned Krillin showing it while Roshi just silently looked at Alexander and at how he thought about that.
"Well aside from those you did good, but you might need to hold on trying those out since its better to practice your own style before others," Roshi said as we finally got our tickets for our flight.
"What do you mean?" Alexander said While he just tilted his head to the side and looked at Roshi.
"Well like the one you have, you know before you mushed up those other styles," Roshi said slightly wondering if his student even has a fighting style.
"Well I didn't learn one though," Alexander said to which got Roshi to become even more curios at how much potential this kid has, and he might even have more than Goku he thought. (AN: but well we know Goku isn't what he seems.)
"Wait then how did you fight in the elimination matches?" Krillin said shocked clearly in his voice.
"I mostly just either deflected them and waited for an opening to hit, like hunting but instead of deflecting its waiting," Alexander said.
"Man both of you are kind of monsters you know…. But if you guys are monsters, i'll also become a monster to fight you guys evenly," Krillin said while puffing out his chest.
"Well then that means you'll have to train a lot harder now, isn't that right master Roshi?" Alexander said with a small smile on his face.
"Ahh well about that boys, we will be taking a month long rest since you just finished the tournament and all," he said while he did his old man laugh, but Alexander could see why Roshi suddenly wanted to rest, its because of his advance age and all the damage he took in the tournament, I mean Goku did give him a lot of troubles.
"Well how long will this break be master?" Alexander said.
"Well as I said it will be a month but maybe less if I feel like it, but I could also lengthen it as well," he said.
"Aww man, so that means Goku will be having a head start," Krillin said as he slumped down on the waiting chairs we were sitting on.
"Don't be so glum Krillin, there's no way Goku could get that much stronger in only a month," Roshi said.
"Yeh his right, so are we gonna pick up launch first?" I asked as we got up and walked towards the loading area on the plane.
"Hehehe, of course it would be criminal to keep her waiting," Roshi said as his face became perverted and he started to drool a little.
"Well we know what motivates master now don't we Alex," Krillin said while he whispered.
"Didn't we already know that since day one, and all the other days since he just keep trying to perv on her though the universe can fuck him over every time like some god is protecting her or something," Alexander said while nodding and Krillin did the same for both of there perverted master.
And so Alexander and Krillin went on a ride in the plane while talking about Goku's potential strength and how strong he might get in only 3 years because in only 9 months of training he was already so strong, but they then remembered that they also were like that and the difference is Goku doesn't have master Roshi and he is on his own, and after talking for hours the boys finally went to sleep
"You boys have much more to grow," master Roshi said with a small smile and silently as he watch his two students in pride.
And as you would expect they got back to the island safely and talked with launch about how the fights were and how hard it was to fight each other, Krillin mostly talking about his fight with jacky chun aka master Roshi,
"By the way where is Goku?" Launch asked after not noticing the monkey boy.
"Don't worry about him launch, Goku is on a journey around the world, both to experience it and understand himself while he will train to gain strength," Roshi said as he acted cool around launch.
"But isn't it dangerous out there?" Launch asked.
"Yes, but if you think about it Goku would be far more dangerous than any gun or monster out there," I said as launch remembered how strong these boys were.
"Ahh, your right, but still it couldn't have hurt for him to at least say goodbye before he left," launch said while a little sad.
"Its alright launch we're still here," I said while I patted her.
"Your right," launch said with a little smile.
"Well i'm done changing now," Krillin said as he walked down from the stairs because he changed his new gi with his old gi while saying that he didn't want to damage it.
"Whats wrong with her?" Krillin asked after noticing how launch looked a little sad.
"She is kind of bummed out that Goku didn't at the very least say goodbye to her," I said.
"Ohhh," Krillin said while dropping his fist on his palm.
"Launch Goku is still young you know, so he wouldn't know the sentiment of a goodbye," master Roshi said as he went up to change,
"His right you know," Krillin said.
And so after confronting launch and reassuring her that Goku would be alright being alone in a world where he could easily punch a hole through a tank or destroy entire armies without sweating. After master Roshi walked down Alexander went up to change to his original black vest with baggy pants, but soon found the vest feels a lot more tighter around his armpits, and so he just went with the t-shirt Krillin gave him.
"Well now that everyone is here, I would like all of you to start packing we will be returning to the original island in about a weak so make sure you have everything on you," master Roshi said.
"Why though? Wont the house just minimize along with our stuff in the capsule," Alexander asked.
"Heh my house my rules kid so pack up or i'll throw them out," Roshi said.
"Alright," Alexander said while we just went and picked up a cloth bag and just went back to Roshi "all done," Alexander said.
"Is that all your belongings," Roshi said.
"Yup," Alexander said.
and soon after they just followed what Roshi said and prepared there belongings mostly Krillin though since Roshi said to launch that it is alright that she doesn't pack up, showing favoritism. While they packed up Alexander just went adventuring around the house, climbing trees, watching the island from the cliff, and taking in the scenery for what it is, an hour and a half later they were finished packing and went back to Roshi's island where all of them spent there time.
A few days in the island Though Roshi said they will be resting, but Alexander was doing his usual in Roshi's island, like duck walks, frog jump, jump push ups, squats and what not, but unlike before Alexander has a 50kg shell on him, and behind him Krillin followed, he followed after 3 days of watching Alexander mindlessly training, and after the 3 days Krillin motivated himself to train along side him, though it was hard at first he got used to it in a matter of days, Roshi did reprimand the boys but soon allowed them to do so but only light exercise so there shells were changed from 100kg to the 50kg ones, the life on the island was mundane to say the least, there was nothing to chase us except in the water but we could easily out swim the giant shark and even sometimes we chased it.
Aside from our usual training we normally go on a lot of grocery runs since if we didn't me and Krillin would end the entire ocean population from hunting, case and point.
"What? There's no more food?" Alexander said to master Roshi who was looking at the tv.
"Yeah, haven't you two noticed?" Roshi said a little surprised that they didn't know.
"We were just training like usual though," Krillin said.
"Well if you both remembered we were on a populated island where launch could easily just go and get some groceries in the village by her self no problem, and not to mention most of the money you boys made went to your food budget, honestly if I didn't do that you boys would have starved to death," Roshi said as he switched the tv's channel.
"Augh, what are we gonna do now Alex?" Krillin asked.
"How long will launch take to come back?" Alexander asked Roshi.
"Well lets see, a quick trip with my fastest boat and car with the back and forth trip, best 2 days worst 3 days," Roshi said to which the boys got depressing clouds begin to rain on top of them.
"Wait I got an idea," Alexander suddenly perked up, and rushed up to the second floor, and after a few seconds came back down.
"Don't tell me you broke something Alexander," Roshi said after hearing the commotion upstairs.
"No I did not and i'll be back," Alexander said while he passed Krillin and jumped to the water while putting something that looked clear over his eyes.
"Wait Alex, don't leave me here," krillin said as he saw Alexander disappear in the water.
"Awww man, I don't even know where he went to," Krillin said while he kneeled down on the sand.
"Its alright Krillin, I bet hill be back in a couple of minutes, where ever he went," Roshi said as he escorted Krillin in the house to watch tv with him.
And so Krillin and master Roshi watched some news and shows which were mostly girls working out and what not, and so minutes turned to an hour, and Krillin's stomach sounded out loudly.
"Master, I don't think i'm going to last enough for launch or Alex to return," Krillin said as he laid on his side on the couch.
"Don't worry about it Krillin," Roshi said reassuringly. "Because i'll be following you shortly," as the old master also fell on his side with his stomach finally growling loudly.
"Well I guest this is the end for both of us us master," krillin said weakly.
"Yeah, I guest i'll be seeing you in the after life Krillin," Roshi said equally as weak.
And as they closed there eyes about to accept there death in the hands of hunger a explosion could be heard, at first it was silent but moments after moments it became louder and louder, it then sounded like a gun fire, then a gas tank explosion, then it began to shake a little, then the whole house to which they looked outside the window to see what was happening, then a loud shout could be heard as a giant creature was send flying in to the sky followed by the water, and as the boy landed a crap 10x his size dropped beside him with cracks all over its hard exterior, and on its front of it was Alexander covered in water and his knuckles somewhat red and a few places reddened with his blood, the wounds looked like puncture wounds.
"Alexander," Roshi said weakly as him and Krillin crawled outside the house.
"I've brought breakfast," Alexander said to which Roshi, and Krillin got revived by his words but it then died as Alexander's stomach growled so loud that it made the house shake and then he then fell on the ground.
"Ughhhhh. Hun… hungry….," Alexander muttered out in his weakened state.
"Krillin get him inside ill cut up this crab," Roshi said as he came back with a knife and a stand that looks like it could fit a turtle shell. "You know what never mind get the fire starting kit I keep in the closet and the fire wood I keep next to it, we are going to have a feast," Roshi said as he took off his shell and placed it in the holder, and to confirm Krillin's thoughts that the old man's shell could double as a giant pot.
As Roshi cut up the giant crab he then scooped up salt water with his shell, and then krillin proceeded to start the fire under the shell, as soon as it boiled the crab was placed on it, and as soon as it was done cooking the first feed Alexander, then after that themselves. This cycle continued for the entire week and a half launch was out, and it turned out that blond launch came out and robbed a lot of groceries to which launch came back with a giant metal cargo container that blond launch stole as well, and when launch got back to the island, it was covered in crab shell, fish bones and other sea creatures, turtle was safe but horrified at what he saw.
And now back to the present.
Some of us need to go with launch because we need to keep her in wraps if she ever sneezes and to make sure the fridge is still stocked up, and it was a good thing master Roshi had a separate capsule that was an entire freezer to hold everything because if not all of the food launch brought with her would have been spoiled by now.
Also master Roshi has been teaching me and Krillin how to do the kamehameha properly, Krillin was having a better time doing it then I did, because for some reason I had a hard time pushing the power outwards, master Roshi said I just need more control over it and advised me to feel it, but the problem wasn't that I couldn't feel it but something else, I could feel it flowing, moving around and on me, the problem was how to shoot it out, but I didn't let that bother me and just continued my training on the kamehameha and physical training.
Roshi trained the muscle form separately from the kamehameha, mostly in the night were everyone was sleeping, master would instruct Alexander on how he does it and how he feels when he does it.
"You see, I used ki to inflate all my muscles and expand, though I loose a lot of speed, but it isn't necessary since the form is only for me to fully use my ki as when I was young," Roshi said silently to not awaken everyone in the house.
"Well we've been at this for 2weeks now and I still haven't had any progressions," Alexander said as he sat on the grass of the small island they reside in.
"Its alright, Alexander no one can get it first try," he said as he also sat down next to Alexander.
"It just hurts to much to use," alexander said.
"Yeah, that was the same for me at first to, feeling my muscles expand also hurt at first," he said sagely.
"What do you mean?" Alexander asked.
"Yeh if feels like your muscles would be ripped to shreds if you make a wrong move right," Roshi said.
"But its not my muscles that hurt," Alexander said and to which Roshi just looked at Alexander.
"What do you mean?" Roshi asked.
"Well you said expand everything right?" Alexander asked Roshi to which he just nodded.
"Well when I try to expand my internal organs it hurts a lot, specially my heart," Alexander said to which Roshi looked horrified.
"Wait, you've been trying to expand your organs as well," to which Alexander just nodded. "Are you trying to get yourself killed kid, I mean I did say everything but I didn't think you would go that far,"
"Then how am I supposed to do it," Alexander said
"Well as I said use your ki or life energy to expand your muscle, but this time put a layer around your organs so they don't get squished from the expansion or get expanded then selfs," Roshi said.
"Ok," Alexander said.
And to which it worked this time as Alexander's muscles expanded, but then instantly disappeared as he crumbled in pain from expanding his muscles from only that much, Roshi called it a day and made sure Alexander did not suffer any major internal injuries and after he did he brought Alexander to the couch and slept and this continued.
