As soon as they entered the limo, Akashi held up his hand to silence any questions that Murasakibara was likely to ask.

"We need him on the team" was said as if it explained the whole interaction that had occurred in the library. With one eyebrow raised, the giant looked down at Akashi, still munching on the snacks he had procured earlier on. He was sure that he had heard the shorter red-head whisper "I want him" under his breath but proceeded to ignore it. If he had brought it up, he knew he was going to get punished and everyone knows, the training plan was enough pain for a lifetime.

The rest of the ride was met with silence. Akashi had his head buried within a textbook, probably reading the curriculum for the next year. Murasakibara was slouched, watching the neighbourhood go by out the window while he was found in the car. The car was always stacked with snacks for him and he appreciated it greatly. Akashi always took care of the team's needs. They were his team, his friends, his family, his lovers. They were his everything and Akashi always made sure to satisfy their needs.

By the time they had made it home, the rest of the team were crowded by the front door. They were later than usual and Murasakibara had forgotten to inform everyone else of the strange encounter with Akashi's new obsession. The teal haired boy from the library. Akashi headed straight to his room to change out of his uniform to ensure they would not be stained or wrinkled. Curious doe eyes followed him up the stairs of the huge mansion however as soon as he disappeared from sight, every pair turned to the giant, still standing in the doorway. Mystery and this group of boys did not mesh well as secrets and boundaries were not one of their strong points. Except for one. A tall green-eyed boy who pretended to not care about anyone else except him, however, this act was dismissed by the team who forced him to open up about his feelings regularly.

Murisakibara found himself being herded to the couch in the living room before being interrogated by the two loudest individuals he had ever met. Blue and yellow hair clashed in front of his eyes as they clambered over each other in an attempt to retrieve answers from the beloved giant.

"Where were you?" Barked a blonde puppy, "Why did Akacchi run off" he continued.

"Why were you late?" demanded a blue-eyed, "What's going on?"

"I don't care." lied a green-haired tsundere

"Tell us, tell us, tell us", was chanted by the blue-haired beast and the yellow-eyed doll. Their voices echoed throughout the house but were easily silenced by one hand over their mouths. Granted the hand also covered most of their face, they both sat down to hear what had happened. As Murasakibara opened his mouth, he noticed a tinge of red out of the corner of his eye. Knowing better than to talk about his captain behind his back, he shut his mouth and sealed his lips shut. The anguish and curiosity brimmed to the surface when both individuals that had been chanting wildly before whimpered at the lack of communication that was happening. No matter how they tugged on the purple-haired giant, Murasakibara knew better than to talk about the feared red-head behind his back, especially when the captain was right there.

A chill suddenly swept through the room and made everything stand on edge. "Daiki, Ryota, I suggest you leave Atsushi alone."

Slowly turning around, the first thing they noticed was the glint in his fiery red eyes. They had not seen that look since... well training that morning, or when he had asked all of the boys to be his. First his team, and then his lovers. The second thing they noticed was the look on his face, specifically his mouth. His jaw was clenched, lips pulled into a tight line that showed no hint of jolly. 'He had heard their chanting' was the thought of every person in the room as they all shrank into the couch.

In a split second, the air in the room went from curious, to sombre and back to curious as the captain let out an annoyed breath and rearranged his facial features, displaying a loving smile.
