Flying Over a Big Hole and Booming Field
"Release!"Ochaco deactivated her Quirk to drop two robots crashing into the ground.
"(Deku is already ahead of us with his flight, I have to do my best to through this race!)" Ochaco thought determined to catch up to Izuku.
Suddenly three of the zero-point robots were shot in the face forcing them to fall backward to cause some of the other giant robots to fall as well, they turn to see that it was Momo with her gym shirt open, showing her black bra, to use her Creation Quirk to create a small but powerful-looking cannon.
"Piece of cake." Momo nodded and run.
"The path is clear!" Everyone else ran as well.
"No way! Momo was actually able to beat those zero-pointer with just one shot each, that's crazy! I guess this is why she got in on recommendation." Ochaco was surprised to see that Momo has such incredible power.
(Stadium)
"(Shit, I had no idea there would be a kid with a powerful Quirk that can take on a giant robot. It's scary when you think about it.)" Kobayashi thought shocked in a little fear when seeing one girl take out all of those zero-pointers by herself.
"Hey folks, just wanted to say that Izuku Midoriya was able pretty wild when he punched one of those zero-pointers with a powerful hit! Believe it or not, this is the second time he has done it and that was during the entrance exam!" Present Mic mentioned, replaying a footage of Izuku punched the giant robot in the obstacle course.
"Oh yeah, that was the moment Izuku fully unlocked the dragon traits." Tohru remembered that day.
"From the spell you messed up." Elma reminded her rival of that.
"Are you ever going to let that go already?" Tohru glared.
"Not until you learn to do better with your magic." Elma glared back.
"Go papa, you're wicked!" Kana cheered.
"You're better off dodgin' those big fellas most of the time. But if you gotta take 'em down, they're just slow, dumb hunks a' metal, pretty easy to hit. As long as you land a smart shot, that is." Snipe pointed out.
Toshinori is watching the event in silence and saw how Young Midoriya has taken first place using his wings to fly over the obstacle course, it looks like he's doing better than he expects the boy to do though it also feels like he's asking too much of him.
"(I've asked so much of you, Young Midoriya. You don't have to come in first, just get to the next round!)" Toshinori thought hoped.
But Toshinori can see from the looks of it, Izuku is gonna get in first place at the rate he's going.
(Back at the Obstacle Course)
"For those of you who thought the first obstacle was easy, let's see how ya eel about the second one."Present Mic smirked.
"Hey, hey, hey, is this… for real?!" Izuku gasped when he looks down at the second obstacle course.
He's not the only one with the shock reaction as those who have arrived at the second obstacle like they're staring at a very deep black abyss.
"If they take a spill, they're out! If they wanna pass this test, they'll have to get creative. It's the Fall!" Present Mic revealed the whole area is a giant pit with large stone pillars and rope connected between them.
"When did they even have time to build something like this?" Ochaco asked, not sure about getting through this.
"What are you doing?" Mina asked when she saw Tsuyu conch down.
Tsuyu jumps over a dozen feet forward and lands on the rope, showing off her skills in balance like a woman on a tightrope.
"This is my moment, easy peasy." Tsuyu crawled onward a little fast.
"She's fast." Mina was surprised with how well the froggy girl is going on that rope.
"Well, it's a deep fall, so I better keep moving!" Izuku said, not wanting to delay himself any longer.
A chuckle was heard from behind causing Mina and Ochaco to turn around to see a girl though they feel a little creepy vibe from her.
"Yes, finally. This is my chance to show off what I can do! My support items are gonna steal the spotlight from these wannabe heroes." The girl was excited.
"Everyone, observe what my brilliant gadgets can do! Wire arrows and hover soles!" The girl shouted with excitement.
"You're from Support!" Ochaco realized this girl is from the Support Course of UA High.
"Hey! How come you got to bring all that stuff?" Mina asked.
"Students in the hero course get all kinds of combat training for their Quirks. In order to keep things fair and give us a fighting chance, we're allowed to bring whatever gadgets and costumes we want into the games, so long as we developed then ourselves." The gadget girl explained.
This gadget girl is a reasonably short girl with quite a mature build. She has salmon pink hair, which is generally shoulder-length, although it does vary, which is styled into thick dreadlocks and side-swept to her right. Her eyes are covered by red and gold steampunk goggles. She wears the regular U.A. gym uniform, but she also adds some of her own gadgets onto it, including utility belt to hold the various tools, oversized speed-assisting boots, and what could possibly be a jet pack strung over her shoulders. Breasts sizes: GG-cup.
Her name is Mei Hatsume, Support Course student who wants to show off her inventions.
"So, sit back and enjoy the show!" Mei fired one wire arrow at one of the rock pillars.
"For those of us in the Support Course, this is the perfect obstacle to show off our ingenious ideas and creations to any companies out there who might wanna recruit us!" Mei bragged as she floats a little from her hover soles and pulls in from the wire as she jumped.
"I hope employers are watching! My super-cute little babies are sure to make a splash!" Mei excitedly laughed.
Mei let out a loud crackle as she is flung into the air from the pull of the wire and lands on another pillar.
"Wow!" Ochaco was impressed with how well prepared that Mei girl is.
"Talk about annoying." Mina commented, thinking that girl is too much with the gadgets.
But despite seeing how equip that gadget girl is, Ochaco isn't going to let that even slow her down to finish this race.
"I won't lose!" Ochaco was determined as she goes to the Fall.
"Ugh, this is so unfair!" Mina complained before going in too.
"Interesting." Hitoshi saw something interesting when that Mei girl showed off her Support Gears.
(With Present Mic and Aizawa)
"In the world of heroes, it's hard to get popular without a flashy Quirk. Right, Eraser Head?" Present Mic asked his co-announcer.
"I don't know what you're talking about, idiot." Aizawa ticked off, clearly feeling a little touchy on the subject.
"Oh, it looks like Midoriya has already cleared the second obstacle and has decided to go through the rest of the way on foot to rest his wings." Present Mic informed upon seeing Izuku land.
(Back to the Obstacle Race)
Shoto is shown sliding through the ropes using his ice on his feet and close to the stairway to the third obstacle course right behind Izuku.
"Looks like Todoroki is still skating by easily in second place." Present Mic commented.
Shoto didn't like hearing that he's in second place to Izuku who only managed to get through this because of his wings, but he will not give up on trying to outdo that guy. He heard explosions making him turn his head to see Katsuki flying over the Fall with his exploding Quirk and can see the big angry rage on his face.
"(Looks like he's getting fired up. It took him long enough.)" Shoto thought commented as he tries running the fastest, he could try to catch up with the three runner ups.
"You both suck!" Katsuki shouted in rage at both Izuku and Shoto.
Tenya arrived at the next pillar to get through as he looks ahead to see the leaders being far from them.
"My older brother's probably watching this. I can't let him see me look foolish, I've got this!" Tenya jumped onto a rope and slide through using his Engine Quirk while in a foolish-looking pose.
"Boy, does he look foolish!" Present Mic commented with a little chuckle.
(With the Audience)
"Yeah! Go, Deku! How those wimpy humans what the might of the dragon is like!" Tohru cheered loudly with hearts around her.
"You're doing great, sweetie!" Inko smiled proudly at her son.
"The dude with wings in first place is so far ahead." One police pro hero commented.
"His Quirk is really powerful when I punched that one giant robot down. But he seems to be the smart type to fly over the other obstacles and then decided to run the rest of the way." One three-eyed hero commented on Izuku.
"There is also that second place boy with a powerful Quirk of his own, but it's his natural athletic talent and keen judgement keeping him close to the first place boy." The three-eyed hero stated about Shoto.
"I'm not surprised. Don't you know who his father is? The Flame Hero, Endeavor!" One young man pointed out.
"Wait, for real? That guy's second only to All Might himself." Another guy mentioned.
"If that kid is having trouble against someone and being in second place, I bet a lot of people are gonna be fight to have either of them as a sidekick for sure." A giraffe man grinned.
"Looks like Izuku is getting some praise as should be fitting for a dragon." Tohru grinned.
(With Izuku)
"The leaders are putting some distance between him, and the students stuck at The Fall! It hasn't been announced how many competitors will next it through to the next round, so there's no time to relax."Present Mic said.
Izuku is making his way to the final obstacle on foot as he turns his head to see that Shoto is really trying to catch up to him, he can see the determination in that guy's eyes.
"(Todoroki is dead set on trying to beat me, and I'm doing the same!)" Izuku thought ran a little faster.
However, Izuku quickly stops himself when he arrives at the final obstacle field and this one look like it was made for a warzone.
"And now, we're finally approaching the last obstacle. Everyone had better tread carefully, you're stepping onto a minefield!"Present Mic announced crazy as Shoto and Izuku sees the giant field.
"If you look carefully, you can see where those little bombs are buried, so keep your eyes on the ground, folks."Present advised.
(With Present Mic and Aizawa)
"By the way, those land mines were designed for the games, so they might be loud and flashy, but they're not all that powerful… Just enough to make you wet your pants!" Present Mic warned in a freaking out tone.
"Get a hold of yourself." Aizawa sighed.
"Does that man always talk like that?" Lucoa asked Inko.
"I'm not really sure, I don't really listen to his radio show like Izuku does." Inko said.
(Minefield Obstacle)
"(Crap, maybe this a bad time for me to take a break from flying.)" Izuku thought gulped.
Shoto arrived right next to Izuku as they look at each other for a quick second, they clutch their fists and start moving into the minefield at the same time though being very careful with their movements.
Some of the other competitors have arrived at the minefield and try to be very careful with moving around on the minefield, but then the exploding of pink smoke started to go off when a few students accidentally step on one spot blowing them away.
"(Very clever, those in the lead are actually at a disadvantage here. Guess it makes for good entertainment.)" Shoto thought started to see how this could be trouble for him.
"(Looks like Todoroki and I are at the same pace for now, but no doubt we'll make a break for the finish line once we get out of here.)" Izuku thought readied himself for what's to come.
"Ha, ha, ha! It's over." Katsuki smirked as he comes in, Izuku and Shoto quickly saw him coming from behind.
Then out of nowhere, Katsuki comes bursting in as he flew over the minefield with his explosive flight and then flew right between Izuku and Shoto.
"Bastard! Your declaration of war was to the wrong person!" Katsuki shouted and threw an exploding left hook which Shoto was forced to dodge.
"And Deku, I'm going to make you regret taking a break from that flight because I'm gonna turn you into dark brown!" Katsuki declared his war on Izuku with an explosive attack that got Izuku to block it with his wings.
"Just like, a new student takes the lead! The media here is going crazy! There's nothing they love more than an upset!"Present Mic excited.
"(I expected nothing less from you, Kacchan. Your drive is fiercer than ever!)" Izuku thought admitted with a grin.
The other students are doing their best to catch up with the leaders of the race even though it's a big struggle for some like Tenya trying to use his superspeed to outrun the explosions before they go off.
"Hey, hey, hey, the rest of the competitors are catching up and what's this?"Present Mic was surprised that the other students are slowing catching up.
The three boys are having their own little battle while trying not to step on the bombs at the same time which is really hard, Izuku tries to whip Shoto with his tail though he dodges and grabs Katsuki's arm to freeze the whole only thing for the exploding boy to shake it off only getting little ice on him.
Katsuki glares at Izuku as he throws in a kick that he deflects with his wing, but Katsuki uses that opportunity to use the shockwave of his Explosion to on Izuku's wings to push him back.
"Can our three leaders fight each other and stay in front of the competition?"Present Mic asked.
"(Damn it, Kacchan used my wings against me!)" Izuku thought grunted, finding himself behind.
"(Hold on, that gives me an idea.)" Izuku thought gotten an idea, an idea so crazy that it just might work.
Izuku dived his hands into the dirt and start digging up a bomb and then onto another.
"(I gotta think about this. These landmines go off if you step on them. They're not that powerful, but they can turn into a huge pain if you detonate a bunch of them. You can't just rush through. It's better to slow down and avoid them altogether. That way you won't risk injuring yourself with one. Even the people who are good at jumping can't be too careless. And there are even more of them to watch for here in the front.)" Izuku thought looked ahead to see more landmines.
"(No one's going to be able to go through this very quickly. I can use that to my flight advantage. I can do this!)" Izuku thought dug up at least a dozen landmines.
"Todoroki and Bakugo are neck-and-neck for the lead and knocking on the finish line!" Present Mic reported.
"As for Midoriya, he got behind. Can he make a comeback?" Present Mic asked.
"You better believe I am!" Izuku smirked.
"Thanks for the idea, Kacchan." Izuku raised his tail high and strong with his wings spread, ready to carry out his insane plan.
"Hey, what is that guy doing?" One orange hair girl from Class 1-B wondered.
"Super-explosive turbo speed!" Izuku slammed onto the landmines with his tail causing them to explode into a powerful and gigantic explosion from all the landmines combined.
"What's with that huge explosion in the front?! That was WAY more powerful than it should be!"Present Mic gasped.
The big explosion on the front even got Shoto and Katsuki to stop for a moment and brace themselves from the shockwave and almost made them lose their balance.
Everyone look up to see Izuku being high in the air and zooming way ahead of the group leaving the minefield as he is heading straight ahead for the finish line.
"Incredible!" Present Mic shouted.
(Stadium)
"Yes!" Toshinori smiled.
"Go, Izuku!" Tohru and the others cheered for him, even Elma is getting in on this.
(Back with Izuku)
"What just happened? Whatever the case, Class 1-A's Izuku Midoriya is suddenly in the lead once again and is making his way to the finish line faster than expected!" Present Mic shouted in shock.
"(This is it! I'm going to win this!)" Izuku thought sprinted forward in the air, making his way to the doorway back into the stadium.
"Deku, what the hell do you think you're doing, huh?" Katsuki blasted into the air and forward to Izuku.
Shoto has decided to use hisIce Quirkto make a small yet steady path through the minefield.
"(This ice path will end up helping the others, but there's no time to worry about them!)" Shoto thought running as fast as he could to catch up to Izuku.
(With Toshinori)
The number one hero in his true weaken form, sitting with the other teachers while watching the race, is clutching his fists feeling excited that Izuku has gotten the lead now and hope he can continue doing what he does best.
"(Anything can happen.)" Toshinori thought.
Tohru and the others are on the edge of their seats to see what is going to happen in the next five seconds or so when Izuku comes in.
"Eraser Head, your students are amazing! What the heck are you teaching them?!"Present Mic asked.
"This has nothing to do with me." Aizawa said as he watches his students on the screen in the stadium.
"Each of them is powered by their own drive to succeed." Aizawa stated.
"There you have it; Eraser Head is a terrible teacher!" Present Mic commented.
"I'm what?" Aizawa glared.
"Who would have imagined that at the beginning of the race that the climax would be a non-stop mega-mix of surprises!" Present Mic said exciting.
And then Izuku came out of the tunnel and back into the stadium.
"Izuku Midoriya is our champion!" Present Mic declared and the crowd cheers wildly.

The obstacle race is over, and the winner of this race is none other than Izuku taking the lead with his flight and even using the explosions from the landmines to make him go faster, but he's about to discover that taking first place may not have been the best thing for him in the next game.
