"Baiser...she's, I think she's dying."
Sulfur felt the blood drain from her face, her heart clenching in her chest as Leopard's desperate words sank in. Baiser, her beautiful, enigmatic succubus, was hurt, maybe even dying. The thought sent a wave of icy terror washing through Sulfur's veins, chilling her to the very core.
"I don't know who else to turn to. Do you girls have healing magic, please, please say yes?"
"What happened?" she asked, her voice strangely calm even as her mind raced with a thousand terrible possibilities.
Sulfur's fingers tightened around her phone as Leopard's panicked voice crackled through the speaker. The ash-blonde girl's usual exuberance was gone, replaced by trembling desperation.
"It...it was supposed to be a simple meeting," Leopard began, her words tumbling out in a frantic rush. "Lord Enorme summoned us to Nacht Base. "That's our HQ btw. Anyway, we had been there before but this was so different. It was always just Me, Baiser, and Alice but this time the senior members were there with the big boss Lord Enorme."
Sulfur frowned, she had always thought that Baiser was the leader of Enormita, but now it seemed like Baiser wasn't even a senior member of the evil organization. A shiver of uncertainty ran through her. How many more villainess' were there, how powerful and experienced were they?
"They were not happy with us. Enorme made a big show of putting all of Baiser's exploits on display for everyone to see and asked why she was fucking you and not beating the shit out of you."
A wave of mortification hit Sulfur next, the other villains knew about her and Baiser, and even put it all on display for the other members of Enormita to see.
Leopard continued before she could dwell on that thought. Leo's voice dropped to a horrified whisper. "But that wasn't the worst of it. Enorme...she had a collection. Magia Hearts, dozens of them, hanging from the ceiling like decorations. Each one taken from a fallen magical girl. Not even just hearts, she even had a bunch of stars, from I guess members that didn't please her."
A wave of nausea washed over Sulfur. She thought of her own Magia Heart, pulsing with life and power. The idea of it being ripped away, of becoming just another lifeless bauble in a monster's collection, made her shudder.
"Baiser...she fucking lost it when she saw them. I've never seen her so angry, god she was beautiful and terrifying all at once. The air around her was practically on fire with how much magic she was putting out."
Despite the dire situation, Sulfur felt a flutter in her chest at the description. She could picture Baiser in all her furious glory, a vengeful goddess ready to rain destruction upon her enemies.
"She and Enorme started arguing about magical girls and conquest. And then...then it all went to hell. Enorme branded us traitors and attacked with this crazy whip of hers. Baiser blasted it out of the air and then we made a break for it."
Leopard's voice cracked, and Sulfur could hear the other girl fighting back tears. "We tried to help, but Gigant and this giant fucking slime thing got in the way. You've never seen anything like her, Sulfur. One moment she was human-sized, the next she was a titan, her fist big enough to crush a car."
Sulfur's breath caught in her throat as she imagined the battle. Baiser, her Baiser, facing off against such monstrous power.
"Baiser… She tried to hold them off and give us time to get to the doors. She almost made it to us. But Gigant...she hit Baiser so hard. There was this awful cracking sound, and then Baiser just...flew. She went through the wall like it was paper, Sulfur. We found her outside, broken and bleeding. I thought...I thought she was already gone."
Sulfur's hand flew to her mouth, stifling the gasp of horror that threatened to tear from her throat. Hot tears pricked at the corners of her eyes, blurring her vision as she struggled to process what Leopard described. How could anyone be so horrible, so utterly devoid of compassion or mercy? The very thought made Sulfur's stomach churn, a wave of nausea rising in her gullet.
But beneath the shock and revulsion, a new emotion began to take root in Sulfur's heart. Rage, hot and primal, flared to life within her, a roaring inferno that threatened to consume everything in its path. Someone had dared to lay a hand on Baiser, had dared to hurt the woman Sulfur loved with a passion that defied all reason. The mere idea of it filled Sulfur with a fury unlike anything she had ever known, a white-hot wrath that seared her very soul and made her Magia heart glimmer with luminensence.
And yet, even as the flames of her anger licked at her insides, Sulfur forced herself to remain calm. She drew in a deep, shuddering breath, pushing down the maelstrom of emotions that churned within her. Now was not the time for rage or despair. Baiser needed her, needed Tres Magia's help, and Sulfur would be damned if she let her own turmoil get in the way of that.
"Where are you now?" she asked, her voice tight with barely contained urgency.
"The safehouse… It's at… Actually, I'm pretty sure you know where that is."
Leopard's response sent a flicker of surprise through Sulfur. The safehouse. Of course she knew where it was - Baiser had taken her there before, in a moment of passion and intimacy that still made Sulfur's cheeks burn at the memory. But to hear Leopard acknowledge it so openly, to hear the girl's voice crack with raw desperation as she pleaded for help, it made Sulfur's heart ache in a way she had never experienced before. The golden-haired magical girl swallowed hard, her sky blue eyes growing distant as she struggled to process the weight of Leopard's words.
Magenta and Azul, who had been chatting nearby, noticed the sudden shift in Sulfur's demeanor. The pink-haired leader's brows knitted together in concern, her vivid green eyes searching Sulfur's face for any clue as to what had caused such a change. Azul, too, felt a prickle of unease at the sight of her friend's troubled expression, her own burgundy eyes narrowing slightly as she and Magenta approached their teammate.
"Sulfur? What's going on?" Magenta asked softly, placing a gentle hand on the blonde's shoulder. "You look like you've seen a ghost."
Sulfur blinked, snapping out of her reverie as she met Magenta's concerned gaze. With a shaky breath, she pressed the speakerphone button on her phone, allowing Leopard's frantic voice to fill the air around them.
"-need your help! Alice is trying to heal Baiser, but she's in critical condition. We don't know if she'll make it without more magic to heal her," Leopard's usually boisterous tone was strained, the words tumbling out in a desperate rush.
Magenta and Azul exchanged a shocked glance, their eyes wide with disbelief. "What happened to Baiser?" Magenta asked, her normally peppy voice trembling with concern. "How did she get hurt?"
On the other end of the line, Leopard let out a string of colorful curses. "Dammit, Sulfur! Did you fucking put me on speakerphone? This was supposed to be a private conversation!" The bomber girl's frustration was palpable, even through the tinny speaker of Sulfur's phone.
Sulfur rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah don't get your thong in a knot. You want help then Magenta and Azul need to know what's going on. We're a team, and if Baiser is in trouble, we have to work together to help her."
There was a long, tense pause on the other end of the line. When Leopard finally spoke again, her voice was quieter, almost defeated. "Fine. But you better not breathe a word of this to anyone else, got it?"
Magenta nodded solemnly, even though Leopard couldn't see the gesture. "We understand. Now, please, tell us what happened and how we can help."
"There's not fucking… Aaarrggg fine, I don't have time for a fucking novel here. The short version is this: We went to a meeting at our headquarters. Things got ugly. Baiser pissed off the big boss. There was a fight. Baiser got hit by a giant fist and went through a fucking wall. Now she's dying, and we need your help. That clear enough for you?"
Stunned silence stretched on, broken only by the gentle rustle of leaves and the distant chirping of birds, oblivious to the turmoil that gripped the magical girls. Finally, Leopard's voice cut through once more, sharp with impatience and fear.
"Well? Are you coming to help or not? Because if you're just going to stand there wherever the hell you are gawking like a bunch of useless statues, I'll find another way to save Baiser myself!"
Leopard was right. All that mattered right now was saving Baiser's life, anything else could wait. Sulfur clenched her fists, a fierce determination rising within her. She would do whatever it took to heal her beloved succubus, to bring her back from the brink of death.
Sulfur looked at her friends, training would have to be put on pause for now. "We'll be there as soon as we can,"
Sulfur leapt into the air, her heart pounding as Magenta and Azul took flight beside her. The trio of magical girls soared over the city, the wind whipping through their hair and skirts. Sulfur's mind raced with worry for Baiser, praying they would make it to the hideout in time.
As they flew, Magenta glanced over at Sulfur questioningly. "So, were exactly are we going?"
Sulfur glanced at her friend. "To uhh… To Baiser's safe-house."
"Oh, Okay! Umm, but how do you know about this safe-house of Baiser's?" Magenta asked, her green eyes narrowed with curiosity.
Azul nodded. "Yeah, I was wondering that myself. You've never mentioned this before."
Sulfur felt her cheeks flush hot with embarrassment. She hesitated, biting her lip as she debated how much to reveal. She had already divulged some of what happened between her and Baiser, but it was still embarrassing. "Well, um, you see..." she began awkwardly, "this is sort of where I woke up after Baiser and I...you know..." She trailed off, unable to meet her friends' gazes.
Magenta's eyes widened and blushed as realization dawned. "Oh! You mean after you two had sex and let her put that collar on you?"
Sulfur's blush deepened to a vivid scarlet. She nodded sheepishly, unconsciously reaching up to touch the black leather collar encircling her slender throat. "Y-yeah... After that, I passed out and woke up on the couch at the hideout."
Azul gave a little scandalized gasp, though her burgundy eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Really? So this is like her secret love nest?!"
"I didn't mean to keep that part a secret or anything," Sulfur said defensively, still blushing furiously. "It's just... That night unleashed a whole new side of myself I'm still coming to terms with."
Magenta placed her hand on Sulfur's shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze. "Don't worry, we get it. We've felt that way too," she said with genuine concern in her eyes. "Just know that we have your back, no matter what. But please, be careful. You are destined to be a great hero. It just happens that you also have a soft spot for Baiser."
Sulfur's throat tightened as she nodded in agreement with Magenta's concerns. She was well aware of the danger her infatuation with Baiser posed. If she gave into it completely, she would willingly submit to becoming Baiser's devoted servant. But it was too late to turn away now - the succubus had already captured her heart and there was no escaping its hold. Sulfur had to find the strength within herself to be both a hero and a lover to her succubus partner.
"Still." Magenta looked at her blonde friend with a warm smile. "It was really sweet of her to look after you like that. She made sure you would wake up in a place that was safe and warm."
Sulfur's eyes widened a fraction before she smiled. "Yeah, it was. For all her perversion, she is surprisingly tender."
Up ahead, the hideout finally came into view - an old abandoned workshop, tucked away in a forgotten corner of the industrial district. Sulfur put on a burst of speed, rocketing toward it urgently.
The three magical girls touched down on the dirt lot surrounding the hideout in a swirl of vibrant colors. As their boots met the ground, a cloud of dust kicked up around their thigh-high heels. The trio looked around at the old workshop. They knew this place, how could they forget? This was the place where they fought Baiser for the second time. Though when they thought about it, it was less of a fight and more like Baiser had ambushed them.
They could distinctly remember how she snapped them all up in the grasp of monsterized mannequins, binding them and leaving them at her mercy. The succubus had decided to tickle them relentlessly as she groped and explored their bodies.
But it was what came after that made Magenta's heart race even now. In a moment of unexpected tenderness, Baiser had cupped her chin, those mesmerizing golden eyes boring into her very soul. And then, with a gentleness that belied her villainous nature, Baiser had claimed Magenta's first kiss.
The memory of those soft lips pressed against her own sent a jolt of electricity through Magenta's body. She could almost taste the sweetness of Baiser's lip gloss, feel the warmth of her breath mingling with her own. It had been a moment of pure, intoxicating bliss - one that had left Magenta questioning everything she thought she knew about herself and her nemesis.
"I can't believe this is where Baiser has been hiding all this time," Azul murmured, her voice tinged with a mixture of awe and trepidation. "It's so... ordinary on the outside. Who would have guessed it concealed such secrets?"
Suddenly, a prickling sensation washed over the trio, a tingling awareness that set their nerves on edge. Magenta's vivid green eyes widened as she felt it, the unmistakable presence of dark magical energy emanating from within the derelict workshop. Beside her, Azul gasped softly, her burgundy gaze snapping to the building with a mix of apprehension and curiosity.
"Do you feel that?" Azul murmured, her melodic voice tight with tension. "There are several signatures of dark magic inside. Leopard and Alice, for sure, but also two others I don't recognize."
Sulfur nodded grimly, her sky-blue eyes narrowing as she focused on the eldritch energies swirling just beyond the hideout's walls. The golden-haired magical girl could feel Leopard's signature, though it was faint and weak like a guttering candle. Alice's presence was stronger, a highly focused presence inside the building.
But it was the other two signatures that gave Sulfur pause, at first their auras unfamiliar, then Magenta and Azul looked at each other, recognizing them as the demons they fought at the baseball field. They were powerful minions of Baiser.
"We need to be careful," Magenta said softly as she looked around. "We have no idea what we're walking into. Leopard sounded desperate on the phone, but for all we know, this could be a trap."
Azul nodded in agreement. "I don't want to believe she pulled something like that but... It wouldn't be the first time we got baited."
Sulfur swallowed hard, her heart racing as she stared at the hideout's door with a mix of trepidation and determination. Every instinct screamed at her to be cautious, to approach this situation with the same wary skepticism that had served Tres Magia so well in their battles against Enormita. But beneath that ingrained wariness, a deeper emotion surged through Sulfur's veins, a desperate need to make sure Baiser was okay.
As if on cue, the door to the hideout swung open with a creak, revealing a battered and half-naked Leopard. Her ash-blonde hair, usually styled in twin buns, was disheveled and matted with sweat as it hung loose around her, the long hair reaching down to her calves. The oversized military jacket she always wore was nearly burned all the way off on one side of her body, exposing pale skin, one large breast was entirely exposed, save for a few strips of black electrical tape crossed over her nipple. She was missing the thigh high boot on that side as well as her hat, though the gold star that was her transformation item still sat on her head like a hairclip. Wine-red eyes, looked at them in exhaustion and desperation before locking onto Sulfur.
There was a tense moment of silence before Leopard sighed and waved them inside with an urgent gesture.
Sulfur glanced back at her teammates, Magenta and Azul, their expressions mirroring her own apprehension. With a shared nod, the three magical girls of Tres Magia stepped across the threshold and into the dimly lit interior of the hideout.
As they entered, their senses were immediately assaulted by a musty scent, a mix of incense and the metallic tang of iron. The main room of the hideout was a stark contrast to the bright, airy spaces they were accustomed to, with its eclectic mix of second hand and new IKEA furniture.
A narrow staircase led up to a loft area, where a few beds were. Below, a small kitchenette occupied one corner, its counters cluttered with empty takeout containers. A curtained-off area nearby held a makeshift washroom with a shower.
But it was the sight in the center of the room that drew Sulfur's attention. There, sitting in the middle of the floor, was a dollhouse-sized hospital, its pristine white walls were a jarring contrast to the gritty, lived-in feel of the hideout.
Next to the dollhouse two feminine demons stood as if guarding the construct. The loyal monsters turned and bristled at the girls of Tres Magia but seemed to settle with a placating gesture from Leopard.
Magenta and Azul flanked Sulfur, their presence a comforting reminder of their shared purpose. Despite their past conflicts with Enormita, the three magical girls of Tres Magia were here for one reason and one reason alone: to help save Baiser's life.
Leopard turned to face the trio, her wine-red eyes shimmering with unshed tears. "Baiser and Alice are inside the dollhouse," she said, her voice wavering with emotion.
Sulfur's heart raced as she approached the miniature hospital, her eyes searching for any sign of Baiser within its tiny windows. The dollhouse seemed to pulse with an otherworldly energy, Alice's magic no doubt sustaining the pocket dimension within.
"How do we...?" Sulfur began, but was cut off.
As if on cue, a small flash of powder blue light illuminated the dimly lit hideout and Alice appeared before them Alice's bright red eyes locked onto the magical girls, her gaze intense and unwavering. She held out a slender hand, the gesture a silent invitation to follow her into the dollhouse.
Magenta and Azul exchanged a glance, their expressions a mix of awe and trepidation. Magenta had been inside Alice's dollhouse more than once now. She know that inside Alice was the one that was in control and could do almost anything she wanted.
Sulfur, however, did not hesitate. She stepped forward, her hand reaching out to grasp Alice's own. The contact sent a shiver down her spine, the reality-warper's skin cool and smooth against her own.
"Take us to Baiser," Sulfur said, her voice steady and determined. "We're here to help."
Alice nodded, a flicker of gratitude passing across her face. She turned, her dress swishing around her legs as she led the way.
As the group assembled around the construct, Sulfur could feel the weight of Leopard's gaze on her back. She glanced over her shoulder, meeting the ash-blonde's eyes with a reassuring nod.
Leopard's jaw tightened as she nodded back, her gaze shifting away from the hospital. She clenched her fists, frustrated that she couldn't offer any assistance in his time of need. But she knew she had to swallow her pride and ask for help. "I hate this… I hate that I can't save her, and that I have to come to you for help," she admitted through gritted teeth. "Please… Do your goody goody thing and save her."
With a final nod to Leopard, Sulfur turned back to Alice. The petite girl pointed to the assembled magical girls and in an instant, the world around them blurred and shifted, reality bending to Alice's will.
In the blink of an eye, they were inside the dollhouse's interior, a bustling hospital room, the air thick with the acrid scent of antiseptic and the beeping of medical equipment. Sulfur, Magenta, and Azul found themselves standing at the foot of a hospital bed, their eyes immediately drawn to the broken form of Baiser lying amidst a tangle of bloody bandages and splints.
The succubus was barely recognizable, her once-flawless skin marred by deep bruises and gashes, her limbs smashed but held together in splints. One of her golden horns had been snapped off entirely and was laid on a bedside table, a jagged reminder of the brutal impact that had brought her to this state. Tubes and wires snaked from her body, connecting her to a myriad of machines that worked tirelessly to keep her alive.
Sulfur felt her heart constrict at the sight, a wave of emotion threatening to overwhelm her. She took a tentative step forward, her hand trembling as she reached out to brush a strand of violet hair from Baiser's battered face. The succubus's eyes remained closed, her chest rising and falling in shallow, labored breaths.
Magenta and Azul flanked Sulfur, their expressions grim as they surveyed the extent of Baiser's injuries. The reality of the situation settled over them like a suffocating blanket, the weight of their task suddenly seeming insurmountable.
"Baiser..." Sulfur whispered, her voice cracking with emotion. She felt a lump forming in her throat, tears prickling at the corners of her eyes. The sight of her lover, her mistress, reduced to such a fragile state was almost too much to bear.
Azul reached out and gently touched her. The succubi's skin felt cold and clammy beneath her fingertips, a stark contrast to the usual vibrant warmth that emanated from her very being. Her heart clenched painfully in her chest as she gazed upon the woman who had become so much more than an enemy.
Magenta's vibrant green eyes widened as she took in the full extent of Baiser's injuries. Her heart clenched painfully in her chest, a wave of empathy washing over her despite their complicated history. The succubus looked so small and vulnerable lying there, a far cry from the confident, seductive villain they had faced in battle."Oh, Baiser," Magenta breathed, her voice barely above a whisper.
Sulfur's eyes swept over Baiser's broken form, taking in every bruise, every gash, every splint holding shattered bones in place. Her heart ached at the sight, a mix of emotions churning within her - heart ache for an enemy turned lover, furious anger at those who had done this, and a fierce determination to make things right.
Leopard stumbled exhaustedly into the room a heartbeat later. Her eyes landed on the form of her comatose girlfriend and she had to hold in the whimper at seeing her in such a state.
Sulfur turned to look at Leopard, her sky-blue eyes blazing with a mixture of anguish and fury. The sight of her rival, disheveled and exhausted, only served to fuel the fire burning within her. Leopard's usual cocky demeanor was gone, replaced by a haunted, hollow look that spoke volumes about how torn up she was over Baiser's state.
The bomber girl looked like she had been through hell and back, and even Sulfur felt a pang of sympathy beneath her anger.
But that sympathy was overshadowed by the white-hot rage that surged through her veins. Sulfur's fists clenched at her sides, her nails digging crescents into her palms as she struggled to contain the tempest of emotions threatening to overwhelm her. The air around all but her crackled with magical energy, the Magia Heart on her chest pulsing with a a furious yellow light.
In two swift strides, Sulfur closed the distance between herself and Leopard. She reached out, grabbing the front of Leopard's tattered jacket and pulling her close. Their faces were mere inches apart, Sulfur's breath coming in short, angry pants as she glared into Leopard's wine-red eyes.
"Remind me, who did this again?" Sulfur hissed through gritted teeth, her voice low and dangerous. The words dripped with venom, each syllable laced with the promise of retribution. "Which bitch has the fucking death wish?"
Leopard bristled at Sulfur's grip, her exhausted body tensing with a surge of defiance. Despite her weakened state, a flash of her usual fire sparked in those wine-red eyes.
"Get your hands off me, you bitch," Leopard snarled, her voice hoarse but still carrying a hint of her more normal bravado. "If I wasn't so fucking tired, I'd deck you right here and now."
She reached up, her fingers wrapping around Sulfur's wrist in a grip that was surprisingly strong given her condition. With a sharp twist, she pried Sulfur's hand from her jacket, shoving the magical girl back a step.
"You want to know who did this?" Leopard spat, her chest heaving with barely contained fury. "It was Sister Gigant. That's the colossal cunt that put Baiser through a goddamn wall."
"Sister Gigant," Sulfur repeated, the name tasting like poison on her tongue. The firestorm of vengance in her chest smoldering as she commented that name to memory"I'll make her pay for this. I'll tear her apart with my bare hands if I have to."
Leopard let out a harsh, bitter laugh. "Oh, that's rich. You think you're going to be the one to get revenge? Get in fucking line, Princess. I've got dibs on ripping that bitch to shreds."
"The hell you do!" Sulfur shot back, her voice rising. "Baiser is my lover too. No one fucks with the people I give a shit about"
"Enough!" Magenta's voice cut through the tension, sharp and commanding. She stepped between Sulfur and Leopard, her green eyes flashing with determination. "This isn't helping Baiser. We need to focus on healing her, not fighting over who is going to get payback."
Sulfur and Leopard glared at each other for a moment longer before reluctantly backing down. Magenta was right - their bickering was wasting precious time that Baiser didn't have.
Leo stalked away from the blonde, grumbling as she collapsed into a chair beside the bed. Her trembling hands reached out to caress Baiser's pale fingers and a wave of helplessness crashed over Leopard as she gazed upon her beloved's broken form, the usually vibrant succubus now a mere shadow of her former self.
Her heart clenched painfully in her chest, a suffocating mixture of guilt, fear, and desperation threatening to overwhelm her. She had always prided herself on her strength, but now, faced with the possibility of losing Baiser forever, Leopard felt utterly powerless. Her own injuries seemed insignificant compared to the gaping void that loomed before her, a future without the woman who had captured her heart and soul.
As the gravity of the situation settled upon her shoulders, Leopard's gaze drifted to Dr. Alice, who was working tirelessly to stabilize Baiser's condition. The woman's brow was furrowed in concentration, her hands moving with practiced precision as she tended to the succubus's wounds alongside her plush nurses. Leopard's pride bristled at the thought of relying on someone else to save her beloved, let alone Sulfur and Tres Magia, but she knew that Alice's reality-warping abilities and the power of Tres Magia were Baiser's only hope.
Tears of frustration slipped down Leopard's dirt-stained cheeks, leaving glistening trails in their wake. She leaned forward, pressing her forehead against Baiser's hand, her lips brushing against the succubus's cool skin. "Please," she whispered, her voice raw and broken, "please don't leave me. I can't do this without you."
The room seemed to hold its breath, the weight of Leopard's words hanging heavy in the air. Magenta and Sulfur exchanged a glance, their own eyes shimmering with unshed tears. They had never seen Leopard so vulnerable, so utterly shattered by the thought of losing someone she loved. It was a stark reminder of the depth of the bond she shared with Baiser.
Sulfur turned her gaze back to the succubus, her heart constricting painfully in her chest. The sight of her lover's broken form, so still and fragile amidst the tangle of tubes and wires, sent a fresh wave of anguish coursing through her. As much as Leopard ticked her off, she couldn't help but feel empathy and sympathy for her in this. 'I'm lucky I can actually do something. All she can do is sit and wait. If I had to just sit and hope that someone else could help my girlfriend, I think I would go crazy.'
Sulfur's fists clenched at her sides as she struggled to contain the maelstrom of emotions threatening to consume her. Every fiber of her being screamed for retribution, for the chance to unleash her power upon those who had dared to harm her beloved. But as she gazed upon Baiser's battered form, Sulfur forced herself to swallow down the bitter taste of her fury. Her jaw clenched, muscles working beneath her skin as she fought to master the wildfire raging within her. There would be time for vengeance later, time to make Sister Gigant and Lord Enorme pay for what they had done. But now was not that time.
Right now Baiser needed her, needed her strength, her magic and her unwavering devotion. Sulfur drew in a deep, shuddering breath, willing her racing heart to slow. She reached out, her fingers ghosting over Baiser's cheek with infinite tenderness, as if afraid the slightest touch might shatter what remained of her lover's fragile form.
"I'm here Baiser," Sulfur whispered, her voice thick with emotion. "I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere. You're going to get through this, I promise."
As she spoke, Sulfur felt a change in the air around her. The rage in her heart cooled as her Magia Heart let out a faint glow.
She took a deep, steadying breath, her hands trembling slightly as she raised them towards Baiser's broken form. The air around her hands began to shimmer with a soft, golden light, the ethereal glow emanating from her fingertips and enveloping the succubus in a warm embrace.
Magenta and Azul moved to stand on either side of Sulfur, their hands coming to rest upon her shoulders in a gesture of support and solidarity. The two other magical girls poured their mana to Sulfur as the shorter girl put everything she had into the healing spell.
—
As Sulfur poured her healing magic into Baiser's broken form, the succubus's consciousness drifted in a liminal space between life and death. Slowly, Utena's eyes fluttered open, revealing not the stark white hospital room, but a grand ballroom of breathtaking beauty.
Warm, golden light suffused the cavernous space, emanating from ornate crystal chandeliers that hung like constellations from the vaulted ceiling. Their faceted surfaces caught and refracted the light, casting a kaleidoscope of colors across the polished marble floor. The air shimmered with motes of ethereal dust, dancing in lazy spirals to the strains of a hauntingly beautiful waltz that seemed to emanate from everywhere and nowhere at once.
Utena found herself standing in the center of this opulent hall, her bare feet cool against the smooth stone beneath them. She was dressed not in her usual attire, but in a flowing gown of deep amethyst silk that whispered against her skin with every movement. Her violet hair bobbed around her head in loose waves, adorned with delicate golden star shaped pins that glinted in the warm light.
As she turned, taking in her surroundings with wide-eyed wonder, Utena's gaze was drawn to the towering windows that lined the ballroom's walls. Each pane was a masterpiece of stained glass, depicting scenes and figures that made her heart skip a beat.
In one window, Tres Magia stood as proud and resplendent magical girls. Magenta's vibrant pink hair seemed to flutter in an unseen breeze, her green eyes alight with determination. Beside her, Azul's serene smile radiated calm strength, while Sulfur's golden locks framed a face filled with fierce passion. The artistry was so exquisite that Utena could almost feel the warmth of their presence, the steadfast loyalty and unwavering courage that defined the trio.
Another window showcased Leopard in all her wild glory. The ash-blonde girl was captured mid-leap, her wine-red eyes blazing with mischievous fire as she hurled a handful of bombs while missiles and bullet casings hung in the air around her. Her oversized military jacket billowed around her like wings, and the artist had somehow managed to convey both her reckless bravado and the deep well of loyalty that lay beneath her brash exterior.
A third pane depicted Alice, the reality-warper's soft beauty rendered in shimmering hues of blue and white. Her crimson eyes seemed to glow from within the glass, holding secrets and power beyond mortal comprehension. Around her, a myriad of plush animals and dolls seemed to dance to her whims, and the protective figure of her Cheshire cat loomed behind her.
As Utena's eyes traveled from window to window, she felt a profound sense of connection to each of the figures depicted. They were more than just allies or enemies – they were integral parts of her story, threads woven into the tapestry of her life.
Utena's gaze drifted upward, and her breath caught in her throat as she beheld the magnificent mural adorning the domed ceiling. The fresco was a masterpiece of celestial beauty, depicting Tres Magia as radiant angels soaring through a twilight sky.
Magenta's wings were a shimmering pink, each feather tipped with gold that caught the light like the last rays of a setting sun. Her emerald eyes sparkled with divine mischief as she reached out, offering a glowing Magia Heart in one hand while the other held a pink spear with a heart shaped tip.
Azul's wings were a deep, midnight blue, spangled with stars that seemed to twinkle and shift as Utena gazed upon them. Her serene expression radiated calm wisdom, a beacon of tranquility amidst the swirling celestial winds. In her hands she held a sword of purest glacial ice.
And there, at the center of it all, was Sulfur. Her wings were a brilliant, burnished gold, each feather etched with intricate patterns. The angelic Sulfur's arms were covered in giant fists and burned with fire. Her gaze was hard and determined, the picture of an avenging angel.
The background of the mural shifted from dusky purples to deep indigos, studded with twinkling stars and swirling nebulae. Comets streaked across the painted sky, their tails leaving trails of stardust in their wake. And at the very apex of the dome, a radiant heart with a four pointed star lain over it hung in perfect balance, their light seeming to illuminate the entire ballroom from above.
As Utena stared in awe at the angelic depiction, a flicker of confusion passed across her face. Her brow furrowed as she tried to reconcile the breathtaking beauty surrounding her with her last memories of brutal combat.
"Where... where am I?" she murmured, her voice echoing softly in the vast space. "The last thing I remember is..." Her voice trailed off as fragmented images flashed through her mind - the cruel smile of Lord Enorme, the sickening crunch of Sister Gigant's massive fist connecting with her body, the world spinning as she was sent hurtling through stone walls.
Utena's hand unconsciously rose to her chest, expecting to feel the ache of broken ribs, but there was no pain. She looked down at herself, marveling at the pristine gown that draped her form. "I was in a battle," she continued, her voice tinged with disbelief. "Against Gigant and Enorme. How did I end up here? What is this place?"
A click of heels echoed through the grand ballroom, the sound reverberating off the polished marble floors and ornate walls. Utena turned, her amethyst gown swirling around her legs, to face a magnificent staircase she hadn't noticed before. The steps were crafted from gleaming obsidian, smooth and polished, yet they seemed to drink in the light of the room.
Descending slowly, with regal grace and poise, was a figure that made Utena's breath catch in her throat. It was herself, and yet... not. This was Baiser in all her resplendent glory, a vision of dark sensuality and commanding presence that both thrilled and intimidated Utena.
Baiser stood more than a head taller than Utena, her curvaceous figure accentuated by a form-fitting gown of deepest violet. The dress seemed to be made of living shadow, clinging to every lush curve before cascading to the floor in a waterfall of darkness. With each step, a tantalizing glimpse of a toned thigh peeked through a high slit, the pale skin a stark contrast to the inky fabric.
Her hair, a richer shade of violet than Utena's own, flowed down her back in luxurious waves, reaching nearly to her waist. It shimmered with an otherworldly luster, as if each strand had been spun from the finest silk and dusted with starlight. Atop her head, a pair of golden metallic horns stood proud and tall, their polished surface gleaming in the warm light of the ballroom.
Baiser's face was beautiful, alluring. Her features were sharper, more defined than Utena's, with high cheekbones and full, pouty lips painted a deep purple. Her eyes, ringed with long, dark lashes, were the color of molten gold, seeming to glow with an inner fire that both beckoned and warned.
Most striking of all was the constellation of six purple stars that adorned her face. They were arranged in a delicate pattern across her cheeks, each one a perfect four-pointed star that shimmered with an otherworldly light. As Baiser moved, the stars seemed to pulse gently, as if they were living things rather than mere adornments.
Her hands, gracefully draped at her sides, ended in long, elegant fingers tipped with violet claws. They glinted in the light, looking both beautiful and deadly, like polished amethyst honed to razor sharpness. As Baiser reached the bottom of the staircase, she raised one hand in a languid gesture.
Utena stood transfixed as Baiser glided towards her, every movement exuding grace and power. The succubus's golden eyes locked onto Utena's, a knowing smile playing at the corners of her violet lips.
"Welcome, my dear," Baiser purred, her voice a silken caress that sent shivers down Utena's spine. "Oh, I've been waiting for you."
Utena swallowed hard, her heart racing as Baiser drew closer. "Waiting for me? But... how? Where are we?"
Baiser's smile widened, revealing a mouth of many sharp fangs. "We are in a place between worlds, my little self. A sanctuary of the mind, created from your memories and desires." She gestured gracefully to the opulent ballroom around them. "This is a reflection of your inner self - the grandeur you aspire to, the beauty you admire, the power you crave. Think of it like a dream."
As Baiser spoke, Utena felt a strange doubling of her vision. For a moment, she saw not just the succubus before her, but flashes of her own face superimposed over Baiser's features. It was disorienting, like looking into a mirror that showed both her present self and a future possibility.
"But why am I here?" Utena asked, her brow furrowing in confusion. "The last thing I remember is the battle against Enorme and Gigant. I… I was hurt…" Her hand unconsciously rose to her chest again, phantom pain flickering through her body at the memory.
Baiser's expression softened, a hint of vulnerability showing through her sensual facade. "We were gravely injured, my dear. Even now, our body lies broken in the physical world, clinging to life by the slenderest of threads."
Fear gripped Utena's heart at those words. "Am I... am I dying?"
"That remains to be seen," Baiser replied, her golden eyes gleaming with an unreadable emotion. "Our fate hangs in the balance, suspended between life and death. This place," she gestured to the ballroom once more, "is a manifestation of that liminal state. Here, we have a choice to make - one that will determine not just our survival, but the very nature of who we are and who we will become."
Utena's mind reeled, trying to process the gravity of the situation. "A choice? What kind of choice?"
Baiser reached out, her clawed fingers gently caressing Utena's cheek. The touch was hot and electric, sending sparks of sensation through Utena's body. "The choice, my dear Utena, is whether to fully embrace who we truly are - to accept me, to become me, to let Baiser rise ascendant and leave behind the limitations of your former self."
Utena's eyes widened, a shiver of fear and excitement running down her spine at Baiser's words. For a moment, she found herself leaning into the succubus's touch, her body yearning for the intoxicating power and sensuality that Baiser embodied. But then, like a splash of cold water, reality crashed over her.
She jerked back, stumbling away from Baiser's outstretched hand. The polished marble floor seemed to ripple beneath her feet, reflecting her inner turmoil. "No," Utena gasped, her voice trembling. "I can't... I won't let you consume me."
As she spoke, the opulent ballroom began to shift and waver around them. The golden light dimmed, shadows creeping in from the corners like living things. The stained glass windows flickered, the images of her friends and lovers distorting into twisted, darker versions of themselves.
Utena's gaze darted from window to window, her heart clenching as she saw the changes. Magenta's determined expression morphed into one of cruel dominance, her green eyes glowing with malevolent hunger. Azul's serene smile twisted into a cold, calculating smirk, her hands now clutching a dark whip. Sulfur's passion became a raging inferno of destruction, her golden hair writhing like flames as she rained down fiery devastation.
The mural on the ceiling underwent an even more dramatic transformation. The angelic depictions of Tres Magia warped and shifted, their wings becoming bat-like and leathery, their halos replaced by crowns of thorns. The celestial sky darkened to a roiling mass of storm clouds, shot through with veins of crimson lightning.
Utena's breath came in short, panicked gasps as she watched the beautiful sanctuary of her mind twist into something darker, more sinister. "This is what I've been afraid of," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the low, ominous rumble that now filled the air. "Losing myself, becoming something I don't recognize."
She turned back to Baiser, who stood unchanged amidst the chaos, her golden eyes gleaming with an otherworldly light. "For so long, I've felt it - the dark magic growing inside me, changing me bit by bit," Utena continued, her words tumbling out in a rush. "Every time I transform, every time I use my powers, I feel a little piece of myself slipping away. And now you're asking me to give in completely?"
Baiser took a step forward, her movement fluid and predatory. "I'm offering you the chance to become who you were always meant to be," she purred, her voice a seductive caress. "To shed the limitations of your old self and embrace true power."
But Utena shook her head vehemently, tears pricking at the corners of her eyes. "At what cost?"
Baiser's golden eyes flashed with a mix of frustration and understanding. "We are dying, Utena," Baiser murmured, her words sending a chill down Utena's spine. "Our life hangs by the thinnest of threads. And if we fall, who will stand against the true darkness that threatens to engulf everything we hold dear?"
She raised her hand, long violet claws glinting in the dim light, and with a graceful motion, conjured a shimmering window in the air between them. Within was a nightmarish vision that made Utena's blood run cold.
The vast throne room of Nacht Base materialized, its walls adorned with tapestries and lit by flickering braziers. Seated upon a massive throne of obsidian was Lord Enorme, her cruel beauty magnified tenfold. Her eyes blazed with triumphant malice, a crown of black diamonds and gold stars perched atop her head as if she was a dark queen.
Flanking her throne stood the other members of the Lord's Legion. Each of them looming with dark power and terrible intent.
But it was the sight at the foot of the throne that made Utena's heart clench with despair. There, broken and defeated, lay the members of Tres Magia. Magenta's vibrant hair was matted with blood, her once-proud form curled in on itself in abject surrender. Azul's serene face was twisted in agony, her body wracked with spasms from some unseen torture. Sulfur, her golden hair dull and lifeless, strained against heavy chains that seemed to drain her very essence.
Her own comrades were nowhere to be seen, at least until she saw the two stars that Enorme held in her hands, their gleaming gold surfaces stained with scarlet.
"Who will stop Enorme from destroying everything we hold dear if we let ourselves die?"
Utena stared into the portal with mounting horror, her heart racing as she took in the nightmarish scene before her. The sight of her beloved Tres Magia broken and defeated at Enorme's feet and the sight of those blood soaked stars sent a jolt of anguish through her very soul. She could almost feel their pain, their despair, as if it were her own.
"No," she whispered, her voice cracking with emotion. "This can't be real. This can't be the future."
Baiser's golden eyes gleamed with a mix of sorrow and determination. "It is one possible future," she said softly, her clawed hand coming to rest on Utena's shoulder. "One that becomes more likely with each moment we hesitate."
Utena turned to face her other self, tears glistening in her eyes. "But if I give in to you completely, won't I become just like Enorme? A monster consumed by darkness and the lust for power?"
A sad smile played across Baiser's violet lips. "Oh, my dear Utena," she murmured, reaching out to cup Utena's cheek. "You still don't understand, do you? Our dear Kiwi spoke the truth. I am not some separate entity, some dark force seeking to consume you. I am you - all the parts of yourself that slept in the depths of your heart. The parts you've been afraid to embrace."
As she spoke, the ballroom around them began to shift once more. The shadows receded, and the golden light returned, but it was different now - softer, more nuanced. The stained glass windows flickered and changed, settling into new images that made Utena's breath catch in her throat.
In one pane, she saw herself as Baiser, locked in a passionate embrace with Sulfur. But rather than a scene of domination or corruption, it was a moment of tender intimacy. Baiser's clawed hands cradled Sulfur's face with infinite gentleness, their lips meeting in a kiss that seemed to radiate pure love and devotion.
Another window showed Baiser standing protectively over a fallen Magenta, her wings spread wide as she faced down a horde of shadowy enemies. The fierce determination in her golden eyes was tempered by a deep, abiding care for her companion.
"This is who we truly are," Baiser said softly, gesturing to the new images. "Not a monster." She looked down at Utena. "We're a bad girl, Utena, but that doesn't mean we are a bad girl."
"But what about that one?" Utena said as she pointed at a third pane of stained glass.
A third pane depicted Azul on her knees, collard, shackled and looking up with adoration at Baiser as she holds Azul's leash in her hands.
Baiser chuckled. "Ahh, that one. Well… Hehehe, we did feel a certain something from our dear Azul that night in the safe house, did we not? When we had her bound, when we spanked, and groped, and teased her relentlessly. We could feel how much she loved the rough treatment."
Utena turned away from the stained glass windows, her mind reeling with conflicting emotions. The ballroom seemed to pulse and shift around her, reflecting her inner turmoil. The marble floor beneath her feet rippled like water, creating dizzying patterns that made her head spin. The chandeliers above flickered, casting ever-changing shadows across the walls.
She found herself drawn to a massive mirror that had appeared on one wall. As she approached, her reflection shimmered and changed, showing her various versions of herself.
She saw herself as she had been before all of this began - an ordinary girl with violet hair and a passion for magical girls. This Utena's eyes were wide with innocence, her posture insular, shy and unassuming. She wore her school uniform, the pleated skirt swaying gently as she shuffled through life.
The image rippled, and suddenly Utena was staring at herself as a magical girl not unlike her idols. Her magical girl form was resplendent in shades of purple and silver, a heart shaped wand clutched in her gloved hand. This version of herself radiated determination and hope, her golden eyes shining with the desire to protect the innocent.
Another shift, and Utena gasped as she beheld a truly angelic version of herself. Massive wings of iridescent amethyst feathers spread from her back, a halo of starlight hovering above her head. This celestial Utena emanated pure love and compassion, her entire being suffused with a warm, golden glow.
But then the mirror darkened, and Utena found herself face-to-face with a nightmarish version of Baiser. This incarnation was all sharp edges and cruel beauty, her golden eyes blazing with malevolent hunger. Bat-like wings of deepest black unfurled behind her, and her claws dripped with blood and a vicious crown of thorns sat atop her head.
The image shifted again, revealing a version of herself consumed entirely by dark magic. This Utena's skin was ashen gray, cracked and oozing with corruption. Her eyes were pits of endless darkness, and tendrils of shadow writhed around her like living things. She reached out towards the mirror, her mouth opening to reveal row upon row of needle-sharp teeth and long pitch black tongue.
Utena stumbled back, her heart pounding in her chest. But before she could turn away, the mirror rippled once more. This time, she saw herself as Baiser, but not the nightmarish version from before. This Baiser stood tall and proud, her golden eyes filled with determination and wisdom. She wore her darkness like a cloak of power, but it did not consume her. In one hand she held a gleaming golden star, and in the other a mote of pure starlight. Balance and harmony radiated from her very being.
Utena watched, transfixed, as the mirror continued to show her visions of a possible future. She saw herself as Baiser, standing tall and resolute against the forces of true evil. Her golden eyes blazed with righteous fury as she faced down Lord Enorme, matching the tyrant's cruelty with her own fierce determination.
But it wasn't just scenes of battle that flashed before her eyes. Utena witnessed tender moments too - herself cradling Leopard, offering comfort and understanding. She saw herself teaching Sulfur to harness her own darker impulses, guiding the golden-haired magical girl with patience and care. There were passionate encounters with Magenta, playful training sessions with Azul, all tinged with a deep, abiding love that made Utena's heart ache with longing.
"What will happen to my real body if I accept your offer?" Utena asked, her voice barely above a whisper. "I've already been changing so much. Will I lose myself completely?"
Baiser glided up behind her, their reflections merging in the mirror. "My dear Utena, you've been changing since the moment you first transformed. Every battle, every use of your powers, has brought you closer to your true self - to me."
The succubus's clawed hands came to rest on Utena's shoulders, her touch sending shivers down Utena's spine. "If you accept, your body will heal. The damage done by Gigant and Enorme will be undone. But more than that…"
"We are special, Utena," Baiser continued, her voice filled with conviction. "We were meant for so much more than we ever dreamed possible. Our potential is all but limitless, you need only to claim it."
"But what about the darkness?" Utena asked, her voice trembling. "The hunger, the lust, the urge to dominate, to corrupt?"
Baiser's reflection smiled, her golden eyes gleaming. "The darkness is part of us, yes. But it doesn't have to control us. We can channel it, use it to protect those we love and punish those who truly deserve it. We have the power to stand against true evil," Baiser said softly. "We can have everything we desire, we just have to reach out and take it."
The mirror before Utena shimmered once more, its surface rippling like liquid silver. As she gazed into its depths, a series of vivid images began to unfold, each one more tantalizing than the last.
The scene before her was one of decadent luxury and tender intimacy. Utena saw herself as Baiser, reclining on a massive bed draped in sheets of deepest purple silk. Her succubus form exuded an aura of contented power, golden eyes half-lidded with pleasure.
Curled against Baiser's left side was Sulfur, her golden hair spilling across the dark sheets like liquid sunlight. The usually fiery magical girl looked utterly at peace, her head resting on Baiser's shoulder as she traced lazy patterns across the succubus's stomach with her fingertips. On Baiser's right, Leopard nestled close, her ash-blonde hair free from its usual buns and cascading down her back. The bomber girl's usual manic energy was subdued, replaced by a look of absolute devotion as she pressed soft kisses along Baiser's collarbone.
At the foot of the bed knelt Magenta, her vibrant pink hair a stark contrast against the deep purple of the sheets. She gazed up at Baiser with adoring green eyes, her hands caressing the succubus's legs with reverent touches.
A little ways from the bed, Azul knelt on a plush cushion, her body a work of art in intricate rope bondage. A silken blindfold covered her eyes, but her lips were parted in a soft gasp of pleasure. Alice stood behind her, a mischievous smile playing across her face as she teased Azul with a long, soft feather, eliciting shivers and soft moans from the bound shrine maiden.
But what truly took Utena's breath away was the sight of Gigant and Enorme. The two villainesses who had nearly killed her were now on their knees before the bed, completely naked and thoroughly subjugated. Collars adorned their necks, the leashes held loosely in Baiser's hand. Their eyes, once filled with cruelty and malice, now shone with a mix of fear and grudging respect.
Utena stared at the image in the mirror, her heart racing. She could feel the truth of Baiser's words resonating deep within her soul. The idea of embracing her full potential, of becoming strong enough to protect those she loved and stand against the likes of Enorme, was intoxicating.
But still, a flicker of doubt remained. "What about my friends? Will they really accept me if I change?"
Baiser's arms wrapped around Utena from behind, pulling her close in a comforting embrace. "They already have, my dear. Think of how Sulfur looks at us with such devotion, how Magenta's heart races when we're near, how Azul trembles with desire at our touch. They love us - all of us."
As if to emphasize her point, the mirror shimmered once more. Utena saw a montage of moments - Sulfur gazing at her with unabashed adoration, Magenta blushing furiously as Baiser teased her, Azul melting into her embrace with a contented sigh.
The mirror's surface rippled again, like a pond disturbed by a pebble, and new images began to form. Utena's breath caught in her throat as she saw Leopard and Alice appear in the shimmering glass.
Leopard stood in a sunlit clearing, her ash-blonde hair dancing in the breeze. Gone was her usual military jacket, replaced by a flowing sundress that accentuated her curves. Her wine-red eyes sparkled with mischief and affection as she gazed at Baiser, who stood beside her. The succubus's hand rested gently on Leopard's waist, and the bomber girl leaned into the touch with a contented smile.
As Utena watched, Leopard's expression shifted from playful to determined. The scene changed, showing Leopard and Baiser fighting side by side against a horde of shadowy enemies. Leopard's bombs exploded in dazzling bursts of color, perfectly complementing Baiser's dark magic. They moved in perfect sync, covering each other's blind spots and amplifying each other's strengths.
The mirror shimmered once more, revealing a more intimate moment. Leopard lay curled up against Baiser on a plush couch, her head resting on the succubus's shoulder. Baiser's wings were wrapped around them both like a protective cocoon. Leopard's usual brash demeanor had softened, replaced by a vulnerability she showed to no one else. Her fingers intertwined with Baiser's, their clasped hands resting over Baiser's heart.
"She's always been so much more than someone under our command," Baiser murmured in Utena's ear. "Leopard is our partner, our confidante, our love. She sees the strength in us that we sometimes forget ourselves."
Alice's petite form appeared next in her adorable wonderland dress. The young girl who longed for attention, longed for companionship. The lonely girl that she had yet to truly explore the depths of their relationship with. She needed Utena, the idea of leaving her to her lonely existence made Utena's heart ache.
"They see the light and the darkness within us," Baiser murmured, her breath hot against Utena's ear. "And they accept it all."
Utena's breath caught in her throat as she gazed at the swirling images in the mirror, her heart aching with longing and love for Tres Magia, for Leopard, for Alice, for all of them. She could feel a wall of her resistance crumble away.
And yet, a final flicker of hesitation remained. Utena turned in Baiser's embrace, meeting those mesmerizing golden eyes with her own uncertain gaze. "I... I want to accept you," she whispered, her voice trembling. "But I'm afraid. What if I lose myself completely? What if I go too far? What if I don't have the strength to keep myself under control."
Baiser's expression softened, a tender smile playing across her violet lips. "My dear Utena," she murmured, reaching up to cup Utena's cheek with a gentle, clawed hand. "Your fears are what make you who you are. They're what keep us balanced, what prevent us from becoming the monster you fear."
The succubus leaned in, pressing her forehead against Utena's. "We don't have to dive in all at once. We can take it slowly, step by step. Let me show you a taste of what we can be together."
As she spoke, the ballroom around them began to shift once more. The golden light softened, taking on the warm, intimate glow of a thousand candles. The air filled with the sweet scent of night-blooming jasmine and the faint, haunting strains of a waltz played on ethereal strings.
Baiser took a step back, extending her hand to Utena with a graceful flourish. "Dance with me," she said, her voice a silken purr that sent shivers down Utena's spine. "Let us move as one, and feel the harmony we can create together."
Utena hesitated for just a moment before placing her hand in Baiser's. The contact sent a jolt of electricity through her body, a current of power and sensation that made her gasp. As their fingers intertwined, Utena felt a subtle shift within herself. It was as if a door had been unlocked, allowing a trickle of Baiser's essence to flow into her.
Baiser led Utena to the center of the ballroom, their steps in perfect sync. As they reached the polished marble floor, Baiser's arm encircled Utena's waist, pulling her close. Their bodies fit together perfectly, like two halves of a whole finally reunited. The music swelled around them as they began to move, their steps graceful and fluid. Utena found herself following Baiser's lead effortlessly, as if they had danced together a thousand times before.
The smile Baiser wore was positively vulpine.
—
Back outside the air crackled with energy, the combined power of the magical girls and the reality-warping abilities of the Dollhouse Monarchy intertwined in a dazzling display of light and color. Slowly, almost imperceptibly at first, the wounds on Baiser's body began to knit together, the torn flesh giving way to smooth, unblemished skin. Shattered bones popped and fused, mended back together as if they had not been broken at all. The succubi's chest rose and fell with each labored breath, the faint rhythm of her heartbeat growing stronger with each passing second.
Leopard watched in awe, her tear-streaked face a mix of hope and trepidation. She clung to Baiser's hand, as if the contact alone could anchor her to this moment, to the possibility of a future where Baiser still lived and breathed beside her. The seconds stretched into minutes, each one an eternity of uncertainty and fear, until at last, Baiser's eyes fluttered open, her gaze hazy and unfocused.
"Wh-where am I?" she croaked, her voice hoarse and barely above a whisper. "What happened?"
Leopard closed her eyes, fighting back the tears that threatened to spill down her cheeks. She took a deep, shuddering breath before speaking, her voice thick with emotion. "You're safe now. We're in Alice's dollhouse hospital."
She gently took Baiser's hand in her own, mindful of the tubes and wires that still snaked from her battered body. Leopard rubbed her thumb over Baiser's knuckles, trying to infuse some of her own heat into the chilled flesh. She was sure that she could already feel some of the life coming back into her lover.
"We found you outside the fortress, broken and bleeding in a heap on the ground," Leopard continued, her voice trembling. "Gigant...she did this to you. It was like you got hit by a train. She punched you right through the outer wall of Nacht base."
"I thought I'd lost you," Leopard whispered, a single tear escaping to roll down her cheek. "I thought I'd never see your beautiful gold eyes again, never hear your voice or feel your touch. I...I can't imagine a world without you in it, Baiser. You're everything to me."
She brought Baiser's hand to her lips, pressing a fervent kiss to the knuckles. "But you're strong. Stronger than anyone I've ever known. You fought your way back, back to all of us. Sulfur, Magenta, Azul...they're all here, pouring their magic into you to bring you back from the brink."
Leopard's voice grew stronger as she spoke, fuelled by the love and determination that burned in her heart. "I'm going to make Gigant pay for what she did to you, her and Enorme. They'll rue the day they dared to lay a hand on you."
As Leopard's words sank in, Baiser's eyes widened in surprise. "Enorme… Yes I remember… Wait… Sulfur, Magenta, Azul...they're here?" she murmured.
With an effort, Baiser turned her head, her golden eyes scanning the room. And there they were, her magical girls, standing to the left of her bed like a trio of guardian angels. Sulfur's golden hair seemed to glow in the soft light, her blue eyes brimming with unshed tears as she met Baiser's gaze. Magenta's pink locks were slightly disheveled, as if she had been running her fingers through them in worry, but her green eyes sparkled with joy at seeing Baiser awake. And Azul, her face was one of relief, her eyes soft and glad.
Baiser felt a blush creep across her porcelain skin, a rush of emotion overwhelming her. Despite her weakened state, she couldn't help but let a playful smirk tug at the corners of her lips. "Well, well, well," she purred, her voice gaining a little strength with each word. "Isn't this a sight for sore eyes? A trio of angles all gathered around little old me. I must have died and gone to heaven."
The room was silent for a minute, before Sulfur snorted, then erupted in a chorus of laughter, the tension breaking like a spell. Sulfur shook her head, a smile playing on her lips. "Only you, Baiser, would start flirting mere moments after cheating death."
Magenta giggled, her eyes sparkling with mirth. "I think it's a good sign. If she's well enough to tease us, she must be on the mend."
Azul nodded, a soft chuckle escaping her. "Indeed. Our Baiser is nothing if not resilient."
Baiser's heart swelled at their words, at the affection that laced every syllable. She had never felt so loved, so cherished. These girls, who by law of the land should be her sworn enemies, had poured their magic into her, had fought to bring her back from the brink of oblivion. And now, here they were, surrounding her with their warmth and their laughter, chasing away the shadows of her brush with death.
"My darlings," Baiser murmured, her voice thick with emotion. "I don't know what I did to deserve you. But I swear, I will spend every moment of this second chance you've given me showing you just how much you mean to me." Baiser's golden eyes sparkled with mischief as she gazed at Sulfur, Azul, and Magenta.
Sulfur felt a deep blush spread across her cheeks, her mind conjuring vivid images of Baiser's skilled ministrations. She could almost feel the succubus's silken hair brushing against her skin as those wicked lips explored her most intimate places, stoking the fires of desire within her.
Azul's burgundy eyes glazed over as she lost herself in a fantasy of Baiser's touch. She imagined those deft fingers grasping and squeezing her, exploring her as she was bound and helpess against the succubi's sorrid advances.
Magenta's breath hitched as her imagination ran wild, conjuring sordid scenes of Baiser's seduction. She pictured herself entwined with the succubus, kissing and cuddling on a plush couch.
"Hey, hey, keep it in your pants until you're better!" Leopard's voice cut through the haze of desire, breaking the girls out of their reveries. The half naked magical girl fixed Baiser with a stern look, though the effect was somewhat diminished by the undercurrent of affection in her eyes.
Baiser chuckled, the sound low and seductive. "Oh Leo, don't think I'll leave you high and dry." She smiled and let out a sigh. "But, you're right. I suppose I should focus on healing first. After all, I'll need my strength for what I have planned." She winked at Leopard, a promise of future delights shimmering in her golden gaze.
Leopard felt a flush creep up her neck, her mind briefly succumbing to the same tantalizing fantasies that had ensnared her companions. She shook her head, banishing the images and fixing Baiser with a mock glare. "Be-have-your-self, or I'll have to take drastic measures."
Baiser's laughter filled the room, the sound a balm to the hearts of those who had been worrying just moments before. "I make no promises, my Leo. Buuuut for now, I will rest and gather my strength, I promise. After all…"
Baiser's smile faded, her golden eyes hardening into smoldering embers as a dark shadow passed over her delicate features. The air in the room seemed to thicken with the weight of her quietly building rage, a palpable force that sent shivers down the spines of those gathered around her bedside.
"After all," she continued, her voice low and laced with a menacing edge, "I have a score to settle with Enorme. That vile creature dared to lay her filthy hands on my magical girls, to kill them, to rip away their Magia Hearts and add them to her collection. "
Baiser's slender fingers curled into fists, the three violet stars on her cheeks seeming to pulse with an eerie light as a fourth blooms to life. "I will make her pay for every drop of blood she has spilled, for every scream of agony she has torn from their throat. I will tear down the walls of Nacht Base stone by stone, I will ruin and break her like she did to so many..."
The girls of Tres Magia exchanged uneasy glances, their brows furrowing as they processed Baiser's chilling declaration. The succubus's words hung heavy in the air, a promise of retribution that sent a shiver down their spines. This new side, a dark and vengeful side, was a far cry from the sensual alluring succubus that relentlessly chased after them.
Sulfur swallowed hard, a chill running down her spine at the raw fury in Baiser's voice. She had never seen the succubus like this before. It was both terrifying to see her inner darkness and thrilling to know that it came from her wanting to protect them.
"Baiser," Magenta said softly, reaching out to place a gentle hand on the succubus's arm. "We understand your anger. What Enorme did was unforgivable. But please, don't let your desire for revenge consume you. Don't become like her."
Baiser's gaze softened slightly as she looked at Magenta, much of the murderous rage fading from her eyes. The fourth star dimmed and faded away as her fury was swallowed. "Oh my Magenta," she sighed, reaching up to cup Magenta's cheek. She took a deep breath as if to calm herself further. "I appreciate your concern. But I'm not like Enorme, and I never will be. She kills and destroys for power. I will destroy her to protect what's mine, the ones I hold dear."
Her eyes flickered to each of the girls in turn - Sulfur, Azul, Magenta, Alice, and finally Leopard. "You are all mine to protect, to cherish, to love. And I will rain down hell on anyone who dares to threaten you."
Leopard felt a shiver run through her at Baiser's words, a potent mixture of desire and awe coursing through her veins. This was the Baiser she had fallen for - passionate, protective, and utterly unstoppable when roused to action.
"We're with you," Leopard said fiercely, clasping Baiser's hand in her own. "Whatever you need, whatever it takes to bring that bitch down, I'm in."
Sulfur nodded, her sky-blue eyes shimmering with determination. "Me too. That skank has to be stopped, for the sake of all magical girls. And I have a real bone to pick with them for hurting you."
The blonde heroine fixed the love of her life with a serious look. "Baiser," she began, her slender fingers reaching out to brush against the succubus's clenched fist, "we know you've been through hell today, and that you need to rest. But if we're going to help you fight, if we're going to stand by your side against this threat, we need to know more."
Magenta nodded. "Sulfur's right," she said, her emerald eyes shimmering with determination. "The one who did this to you is a big threat! One that Tres Magia will fight. But we can't go into this blind. We need to understand what we're up against."
Azul leaned forward, her teal tresses cascading over her shoulder as she fixed Baiser with an intense, searching gaze. "Tell us about Enorme," she urged, her voice tinged with an undercurrent of steel. "Who is she, and what does she want?"
Baiser's golden eyes flickered between the three magical girls, a flicker of pride sparking amidst the indignation swirling in her heart. Tres Magia, stood ready to fight the greatest evil of careers without a second thought. These were her girls, her brave, beautiful warriors, ready to stand with her. It made her heart ache. "You girls… Okay, I'll tell you what I know."
"Lord Enorme," Baiser began, her voice low and heavy with the weight of her words, "is evil in every sense of the word. She is the supreme leader of Enormita, a woman of immense power and vast cruelty. Her goal is nothing less than the complete domination of Japan and then the world, the eradication of all magical girls who dare to stand in her way."
Baiser's words hung heavy in the air, each syllable laden with a weight that seemed to press down upon the room's occupants. The girls of Tres Magia exchanged shocked glances, their eyes widening as the full implications of Baiser's revelation sank in.
Sulfur was the first to break the tense silence, her voice barely above a whisper. "We... we always thought you were the one in charge," she admitted, her gaze locking with Baiser's golden eyes. "All this time, we've been fighting you, thinking we were taking on the big bad. But now..."
Magenta nodded, her usual bubbly demeanor subdued by the weight of this new information. "It's like we've been playing a video game, thinking we were facing the final boss," she murmured, her fingers absently toying with one of her pigtails. "Only to find out we've just been fighting a mid-level lieutenant."
Azul's brow furrowed as she processed the implications. "If you're not the leader," she began, her voice tinged with a mix of curiosity and apprehension, "why have we never heard of this Lord Enorme before?"
Baiser's golden eyes flickered to the far corner of the room, where the small, black creature hovered silently. Venalita's large, rabbit-like ears twitched as it met Baiser's gaze, it's expression unreadable. The succubus felt a twinge of unease at the mascot's presence, knowing the web of manipulation and deceit that surrounded the creature. She was being oddly silent throughout this whole ordeal.
With a soft sigh, Baiser turned her attention back to the girls gathered around her bedside. The warm glow of the dollhouse hospital's lights cast a soft halo around their worried faces, highlighting the concern etched in their features. She reached out, her slender fingers brushing against Sulfur's hand, drawing strength from the contact.
"Enorme and her underlings have been working in the shadows for a long while," Baiser began, her voice low and tinged with a mixture of anger and regret. "They've been systematically culling the numbers of magical girls across the country, all to pave the way for Enorme's ascension and her ultimate goal of domination."
Baiser's gaze swept across the faces of Tres Magia, taking in their shocked expressions. "Have you girls ever wondered why there seem to be fewer magical girls around these days? Why have some areas of Japan that were once hotbeds of magical activity have gone quiet?"
Magenta's emerald eyes widened in realization. "The disappearances," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
Leopard shuddered, her wine-red eyes haunted by the memories of what she had seen in Nacht Base. She had hated magical girls in the past, but what Enome was doing just so fucked up. "She has this...collection. Her throne room is a shitty trophy room filled with the Magia Hearts of the magical girls she's killed or broken, dozens and dozens of them. They hang from the ceiling like ornaments in a gross shrine to her own conquest. "
Baiser's golden eyes blazed with a cold fury as she continued, her voice trembling with barely restrained rage.
"Rising star, The Rumbling Roses, Cute Creamery, The Sakura sisters, Prismatic Hearts, and many more. All snuffed out by her and her group." Baiser grit her teeth at the thought of so many wonderful magical girls destroyed, so many jewels that could have been hers, should have been hers, so many stars in her night sky, all lights winked out.
Sulfur, Magenta, and Azul exchanged uneasy glances, their hearts heavy with the knowledge that they had been woefully unprepared to face such a formidable and ruthless enemy. They had always known that Enormita posed a threat, but the true depths of the organization's evil had remained hidden until now.
Baiser's voice rose, her words laced with a grim determination. "This is the truth that has been going on outside of this city. Enorme and her Lord's Legion are the ones responsible for the destruction of so many magical girls, for the destruction of entire groups dedicated to protecting the innocent. And now, they have set their sights on Sendai, on the very magical girls gathered in this room. On you…"
"Of course by betraying her, I'm in the same boat as you. But…" She fixes Sulfur, Magenta, and Azul with a smoldering gaze. "Then again. You're MY magical girls… I would never let anyone hurt you."
Sulfur felt a shiver run down her spine at Baiser's possessive words. Despite the dire situation, her heart fluttered at the succubus's fierce protectiveness. She squeezed Baiser's hand gently, her sky blue eyes shimmering with determination.
"And we won't let anyone hurt you either," Sulfur declared, her voice steady and resolute. "We're in this together now, all of us."
Magenta nodded vigorously, her pink drills bouncing. "That's right! Tres Magia doesn't back down from a fight, especially not when someone we care about is in danger." She blushed slightly at the admission, but her emerald eyes blazed with conviction.
Azul stepped forward, her burgundy eyes flashing with determination. "We may have been enemies before, but now we face a common threat. One that's far greater than any of us imagined." She placed her hand on top of Sulfur and Baiser's joined ones. "Count me in as well. We'll take down Enorme together."
Leopard let out a low whistle, shaking her head in disbelief. "Never thought I'd see the day when Tres Magia and Enormita would be on the same side." She gently elbowed Baiser's arm and smirked. "You're a real lady killer you know that, wrapping these girls around your fingers like this."
Baiser's lips curved into a wicked smile, her golden eyes glimmering with mischief despite the gravity of the situation. "What can I say? I have a way with women," she purred, her voice low and seductive. "But make no mistake, my darlings. This alliance may have been born of necessity, but my feelings for each of you are very real."
Her gaze swept over the assembled magical girls, lingering on each face in turn. "Sulfur, my spitfire, with your fierce loyalty and burning passion. Magenta, sweet and bubbly, yet with a core of steel when it matters most. Azul, calm and collected, a pillar of faith and determination."
Baiser's eyes finally settled on Leopard, her expression softening. "And you, my earnist, wild Leopard. Always by my side, even in the darkest of times. I couldn't do this without you."
The succubus's words hung in the air, charged with emotion and promise. The magical girls felt their cheeks flush, hearts racing at the intensity of Baiser's gaze.
Sulfur cleared her throat, trying to regain her composure despite the butterflies in her stomach. "So, what's our next move? We can't just sit around waiting for Enorme to strike again."
Baiser's expression hardened, her earlier playfulness giving way to steely determination. "You're right, of course. We need to act. But first, I need to regain my strength. And we all need to prepare for what's coming."
Magenta pumped her fists. "We won't let Enorme win," she declared, her emerald eyes blazing with resolve. "We'll stand with you, Baiser, and face this threat together. Tres Magia will not fall, not while we still draw breath."
Azul nodded, her teal tresses cascading over her shoulder as she straightened her spine. "Our magic is yours to command," she said, her melodic voice clarion in its tone.
Baiser's golden eyes sparkled with mischief as a giggle escaped her lips. "My, my, Azul," she purred, her voice dripping with honeyed amusement. "I didn't think you'd offer to submit to me so soon. And here I thought I'd have to work harder to seduce you."
A ferocious blush spreads over Azul's face, as she splutters and stammers. "W-What?! I-I-I didn't…"
The succubus laughs, eyes sparkling with mirth."Don't worry, my darlings," Baiser crooned, her gaze shifting to encompass all three of the Tres Magia members. "I'm only joking... for now." Her lips curled into a wicked smile.
Sulfur cleared her throat, drawing the attention back to the matter at hand. "Jokes aside," she said, her sky-blue eyes fixed on Baiser with a mix of concern and determination, "we need to focus on the task ahead. Enorme and her minions must be stopped, and we'll need every ounce of strength and cunning we possess to do it."
Baiser's expression sobered, the playful glint fading from her golden eyes as she met Sulfur's gaze. "You're right," she agreed, her voice growing serious. "This is no laughing matter. Enorme's power is vast, and her cruelty knows no bounds. We must be prepared for anything."
Leopard nodded grimly, her wine-red eyes hardening with resolve. "Just Gigant was able to do this to you," she said, gesturing to Baiser's battered form. "And she's just one of Enorme's top lieutenants. The others - Leberblume, Loco Musica - they'll all be gunning for us now that we've betrayed Enormita."
Magenta's brow furrowed. "We need to return to our training," she said, her emerald eyes serious. "I meant what I said, we will fight with you against Enorme and her lackies. We'll hone our skills, develop new strategies. If we're going to stand a chance against Enorme and her forces, we'll need to be at the top of our game."
Baiser's lips curved into a smile, a flicker of pride warming her chest as she beheld the determined faces of her idols. "My clever girls," she sighed, her voice soft but filled with affection. "You're already thinking like true leaders. With you by my side, I have no doubt that we will prevail."
Leopard grinned, her usual bravado resurfacing as she cracked her knuckles. "Damn straight," she agreed, her tone cocky and self-assured. "Enorme won't know what hit her. We'll show that bitch the true power of magical girls united, good and bad!"
A chorus of cheers erupted from the gathered warriors, their voices ringing out in a harmony of determination and defiance. Baiser's heart swelled with love and gratitude, her golden eyes shimmering with unshed tears as she beheld the unbreakable bonds that tied them all together. She reached up slowly and brushed a palm against her eye. "So beautiful," she whispered, her voice thick with feeling, "I love you all more than words can express. Your bravery, your devotion, your unwavering loyalty - I think I'm going to cry."
She reached out with a trembling hand, grasping Sulfur and Magenta's fingers in her own while the other slid around Leopard's waist. Azul stepped closer, resting a comforting hand on Baiser's shoulder. Leopard remained by her side, a solid presence radiating fierce protectiveness over the succubus.
"I don't know what I did to deserve such incredible girls in my life," Baiser continued, her golden eyes locking with each of theirs in turn. "But I swear on my Star, I will spend every moment proving myself worthy of your love. Together, we will weather any storm, overcome any obstacle. Enorme, Gigant - they will all fall before our combined."
Magenta squeezed Baiser's hand, her emerald eyes glowing with conviction. "And we will be right there with you every step of the way. You are not alone in this fight, Baiser. Not anymore. Tres Magia stands with you. I stand with you."
"As do I," Azul declared, her melodic voice ringing with certainty.
Sulfur stepped forward and in a bold move, leaned in and kissed Baiser on the lips. It was soft and brief, but no less powerful in its meaning. "As much as I belong to you Baiser, you belong to me. You want to protect us, but I want to protect you right back. I wont forgive those bitches for what they did to you. They have a real ass kicking coming for them."
Leopard pressed into Baiser. "Can't believe I actually agree with Blondie there. But she's right, I'm gonna blow those cunts the fuck up for this."
Baiser laughed then, a weak but genuine sound filled with joy. "My beautiful, amazing, pigheaded girls. What did a wicked succubus like me ever do to earn such pure-hearted devotion?"
"You loved us," Magenta answered simply, a radiant smile on her face. "Truly, deeply, and with every fiber of your being. You may be a horrible, horrible pervert and a relentlessly horny girl. But even so, how could we not love you in return?"
Tears that had been held back now spilled down Baiser's cheeks now, cutting trails through the dust and grime. She pulled them all close, Sulfur,Magenta, Azul, and Leopard, until they were a tangle of limbs and heartbeats..
Leopard looked over at . "Come on, you too. You're part of whatever this is."
The adult version of the young blonde looked nervous for a moment before a small smile graced her features. She came around and slipped up next to Leo and joined the group hug.
"Together then," Baiser declared, her voice a fierce promise, a sacred vow. "Against Enorme, against anyone who dares threaten my magical girls."
As the warmth of their embrace enveloped her, Baiser felt a renewed sense of strength and determination flood through her battered body. The love and devotion of her magical girls was a balm to her weary soul, a shining beacon of hope as magical girls ought to be.
With a soft sigh, Baiser reluctantly pulled back, her golden eyes still glistening with emotion as she gazed upon the faces of her beloveds. "As much as I would love to stay wrapped in your arms forever, my darlings," she said, a hint of her usual playfulness creeping into her tone, "I think we have much work ahead of us."
Magenta nodded, her expression sobering as she straightened her spine. "You're right," she agreed, her emerald eyes hardening with resolve. "We need to get back to training. Enorme and her forces won't stay idle for long, we need to get stronger while we can."
Sulfur's eyes met Baiser's, a silent understanding passing between them. "While we are training, you need to focus on healing and regaining your strength," she said softly, her fingers brushing gently over the succubus's hand. "We'll need you at your full power when the time comes to face Enorme head-on."
Leopard grinned, her wine-red eyes sparkling with mischief. "Don't worry, babe," she said, her tone light but laced with an undercurrent of fierce protectiveness. She reached out and put a hand on Baiser's thigh. "We'll keep watch over you while you rest up. And maybe, if you're good, I'll even play nurse." She waggled her eyebrows suggestively, drawing a weak chuckle from Baiser.
The succubus shook her head fondly, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Incorrigible as always, my Leopard," she murmured, her golden eyes warm with affection. "But you're right. I need to focus on recovering my strength. And with my magical girls waiting for me, I know I'll be back on my feet in no time."
As if on cue, a wave of exhaustion washed over Baiser, her eyelids growing heavy as the toll of her injuries and the emotional upheaval of the past few hours caught up with her. She sank back against the pillows, her violet hair fanning out around her like a halo. "Speaking of… I think I would like to get some sleep."
Baiser's eyelids fluttered closed, her long lashes casting delicate shadows on her bruised cheeks as she succumbed to the pull of slumber.
As Baiser drifted off, an ethereal glow began to emanate from her skin. Leopard's eyes widened in alarm as she recognized the telltale signs of Baiser's transformation beginning to fade. The succubus's body was enveloped in a cocoon of shimmering light, her features becoming less defined as the magic that sustained her villainous form began to dissipate.
"Shit," Leopard hissed under her breath, her wine-red eyes darting frantically between Baiser's glowing form and the confused faces of Tres Magia
Dr. Alice stepped forward and with a subtle gesture, she caught Leopard's attention and gave a nearly imperceptible nod.
"Alright, ladies," Leopard announced abruptly, her voice louder than necessary as she clapped her hands together. "Show's over. Baiser needs her rest, and we've got work to do. Time to clear out!"
Magenta and Azul gasped as Leopard's sudden panic tipped them off to what was happening. Baiser's transformation was fading away, and in a moment her true self would be shown.
Magenta gasped softly, her emerald eyes wide with a mixture of awe and curiosity. She took an unconscious step forward, drawn by an irresistible urge to witness the true face of the woman who had captured their hearts.
"Hey! Did you not hear me? I said it's time to go!" Leopard barked, her tone sharp with urgency. She moved to stand between Baiser's transforming form and the curious gazes of Tres Magia, her arms spread wide as if to shield the succubus from prying eyes.
The pink and blue clad girls pouted but turned away to respect Baiser's secret identity. The desire to look was strong, but they were sure they would find out the truth in time.
"Okayyyy, Thank you, Alice," Magenta said sincerely. "We appreciate all you've done for Baiser."
Dr. Alice smiled, a hint of warmth softening her regal features. She nods proudly.
The three members of Tres Magia departed the magical space, their hearts full with the knowledge that they had saved a life, and not just any. The life of their arch nemesis, the life of their crush, the woman that had bewitched their hearts despite everything.
Leopard lingered a moment longer, her face turning to the girl behind her as the light faded and Utena laid in the bed. She approached the sleeping girl and intertwined her fingers with Utena's limp ones as she brought her girlfriend's hand to her lips. "Come back to me soon, you stubborn succubus," she murmured, her voice rough with emotion.
With a sigh she gently placed Utena's hand down and got up. She wiped an arm over her eyes and nodded to . "I'll go see those girls. I need to have a few words with them anyway. I need to sleep too after all this."
The tall blonde doctor nodded and gave Leopard a gentle shooing motion to get her on her way.
"Yeah yeah, I'm going."
—
The girls of Tres Magia popped into reality with a small flash of light, a pop of suddenly displaced air. They looked around to see the hideout was exactly as it was before.
Magenta squared her shoulders, her emerald eyes hardening with determination. She looked to Azul and Sulfur, her best friends and sisters-in-arms. "That was intense. I never thought I would see Baiser like that, so hurt. I'm glad we could fix her up."
Sulfur nodded solemnly, her sky-blue eyes distant as she processed everything they had just experienced. "It was... eye-opening," she said softly. "To see Baiser so vulnerable, to learn about this greater threat looming over us all. It changes everything."
Just thinking about what Baiser had looked like, bloody and broken. It made that fire in her heart flare up again. Her hands clenched at her sides, she would make them pay for hurting Baiser.
Azul nodded. "I'd say that we should reach out to other magical girl groups for help, but…" No one wanted to finish that thought, that they might be the last good magical girls in the country.
A heavy silence descended upon the group, each of them lost in their own thoughts as they grappled with the enormity of the task ahead. They had always known that being a magical girl meant facing danger and adversity, but the scale of the threat posed by Enorme and her forces was unlike anything they had ever encountered before.
Sulfur put her hands on her hips and looked at her friends. "I thought we were going to train hard before but now, we gotta kick it up a notch." She pointed at Azul. "And no belly aching about getting hurt."
There was another pop and the half naked Leopard appeared, still just as disheveled as before. The events of the day had taken their toll on her. Her body was still aching from the battle at Nacht Base, their retreat, and the emotional upheaval of nearly losing Baiser. As the adrenaline that had sustained her began to ebb away, Leopard could feel exhaustion creeping up on her like a stealthy predator, its claws sinking deep into her bones. She was barely holding her transformation together and just wanted to lay down and sleep.
She leaned against the wall, her wine-red eyes half-lidded as she observed Magenta, Sulfur, and Azul with a mix of grudging respect and amused indulgence. The trio was a whirlwind of activity, their voices rising and falling in a melodic cacophony as they discussed training regimens and battle strategies.
Leopard couldn't help but feel a reluctant spark of admiration kindle in her chest as she watched the magical girls work. Their dedication and focus were annoyingly impressive.
A small, tired smile tugged at the corners of Leopard's lips as she pushed herself off the wall, her boots scuffing against the concrete floor as she sauntered over to the magical girls. "Well, well, well," she drawled, her voice low and rough with fatigue, "look at you three, all fired up and ready to take on the world."
Magenta glanced up, her brow furrowing slightly as she took in Leopard's haggard appearance. "Leopard," she said, her tone softening with concern, "you look exhausted. Are you sure you're alright?"
Leopard waved off the pink-haired girl's worry with a dismissive flick of her wrist, her signature bravado slipping back into place like a well-worn mask. "Me? I'm fine, pinky," she scoffed, though the weariness in her eyes belied her words. "Takes more than a little scuffle to keep this bombshell down."
Sulfur and Azul exchanged a knowing glance, their expressions a mix of exasperation and concern. They knew all too well the toll that the ongoing battles with Enormita had taken on their erstwhile rival turned reluctant ally. Sulfur stepped forward, her golden hair shimmering in the dim light of the hideout as she approached her rival. "Quit being such a pain in the ass, Baiser is going to need you at the top of your game too."The blonde smirked, "Or do you want me to show you up and sweep her off her feet?"
Leopard's wine-red eyes flashed with a mixture of irritation and amusement at Sulfur's challenge. Despite her exhaustion, she felt a familiar spark of competitive fire ignite within her.
"As if you could ever outshine me, Blondie," Leopard scoffed, pushing herself off the wall with a cocky grin. "Baiser may have a soft spot for you goody-two-shoes magical girls, but I'm still her number one."
Sulfur raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk tugging at her lips. "Oh really? Is that why she was so eager for our help? Face it, Leopard, you're not the only one in Baiser's heart anymore."
The ash-blonde bomber girl bristled slightly, her fatigue momentarily forgotten as she squared up to Sulfur. "Listen here, you little-"
"Enough, both of you," Magenta interjected, stepping between the two with an exasperated sigh. "This isn't a competition. Baiser needs all of us right now, and we need to work together if we're going to face Enorme and her forces."
Azul nodded in agreement, her teal hair swaying gently as she moved to stand beside Magenta. "Magenta's right. We're all on the same side now, whether we like it or not. There's no room for petty rivalries."
Sulfur's sky-blue eyes locked onto Leopard's wine-red gaze, a silent battle of wills playing out between them. The air crackled with tension, thick enough to cut with a knife. For a moment, it seemed as though the fragile truce might shatter, their rivalry reigniting like a powder keg in the face of their shared feelings for Baiser.
But then Sulfur took a deep breath and squared her shoulders. When she spoke, her voice was low and intense, filled with a fierce determination that made even Leopard pause.
"Listen here, you cow-titted menace," Sulfur began, her words sharp but not unkind. "I have no intention of playing second fiddle to you or anyone else when it comes to Baiser. That succubus has wrapped herself around my heart like a vine, and I'll be damned if I let her go without a fight."
Leopard opened her mouth to retort, but Sulfur held up a hand, silencing her with a look. "But," she continued, her voice softening slightly, "for Baiser's sake, I'm willing to set aside our differences. What those bastards did to her... it makes my blood boil just thinking about it."
As she spoke, Sulfur's fists clenched at her sides, the material of her gloves creaking with the force of her grip. The memory of Baiser's broken body, lying helpless and vulnerable in that hospital bed, flashed through her mind again. It sent a wave of molten fury coursing through her veins, setting her Magia Heart ablaze with righteous anger.
"I want payback," Sulfur growled, her eyes flashing with a dangerous light. "I want to make Enorme and her lackeys pay for every bruise, every broken bone, every moment of pain they inflicted on Baiser. And as much as it pains me to admit it, I can't do that alone."
Leopard watched Sulfur with a mixture of surprise and grudging respect. She had been pissing her off ever since they first fought. But now, seeing the fire in Sulfur's eyes, the raw determination in her stance, Leopard realized she had underestimated her rival.
"Well, well," Leopard drawled, a slow smirk spreading across her face. "Looks like there's more to you than just a pretty face and a tight ass, Blondie. I gotta say, I'm almost impressed."
Sulfur rolled her eyes, but there was a hint of amusement in her expression. "Gee, thanks," she said dryly. "Your approval means so much to me."
For a moment, the two girls stared each other down, the air between them charged with a strange mix of rivalry and newfound respect. Then, slowly, Leopard's smirk softened into something almost resembling a genuine smile. She extended her hand towards Sulfur, her wine-red eyes glinting with a mix of challenge and camaraderie.
"Alright, washing board," Leopard said, jabbing back at her. "You've got yourself a deal. For Baiser's sake, I'm willing to play nice... for now. But don't think for a second that this means I'm going to go easy on you when it comes to winning her heart."
Sulfur regarded Leopard's outstretched hand for a moment, her eyes narrowed in consideration. Then, with a decisive nod, she clasped Leopard's hand in a firm handshake.
"Wouldn't dream of it," Sulfur replied, a competitive gleam in her eye. "May the best magical girl win."
As their hands joined, a spark of energy seemed to pass between them, a silent acknowledgment of their shared goal and the strength they could find in unity. Magenta and Azul exchanged relieved glances, the tension in the room dissipating like mist in the morning sun.
Magenta clapped her hands together, her emerald eyes sparkling with renewed determination. "Great! Now that we've got that settled, let's focus on what's really important - getting stronger and taking down Enorme."
A jaw-cracking yawn escaped her lips, and Leopard rubbed at her eyes with the back of her hand. Her body was screaming for rest, the adrenaline that had sustained her through the earlier fight now long since faded, leaving only a bone-deep exhaustion in its wake. "Yeah, yeah, I hear you," she grumbled, her words slurring slightly with fatigue. "You three go ahead and train or whatever it is you do. I'm gonna catch some Z's."
She turned to leave, but paused, glancing back over her shoulder at the magical girls with a mischievous glint in her wine-red eyes. "Oh, and one more thing," she said, a smirk playing at the corners of her mouth as she pointed at the ground beneath her feet. "Sulfur's head over heels, and you two may have come around on your feelings towards Baiser, but what I just said goes for you two as well, don't forget who's really on top of her little harem, me."
With that parting shot, Leopard sauntered off towards the stairs leading up to the loft, her hips swaying with each step. The magical girls watched her go, a mix of amusement and exasperation on their faces. They knew that despite her bravado, Leopard cared deeply for Baiser, and would do anything to protect her. It was a sentiment they all shared, even if they expressed it in different ways.
As the sound of Leopard's footsteps faded away, Magenta turned back to her teammates, a determined look in her vivid green eyes. "Alright, girls," she said, clapping her hands together, "let's get to work. We've got a lot of training to do if we're going to be ready for whatever Enormita throws at us next."
Sulfur and Azul nodded in agreement, their expressions mirroring Magenta's resolve. They knew the road ahead was going to be difficult, and what could possibly be the most important battle of their lives was looming on the horizon.
Just as they turned to leave, Azul frowned and looked back to where Leopard had gone. Familiarity struck her now that the panic of saving Baiser was behind her. "Hey wait, I recognize this place now. I've been here before… This is where Baiser and Leopard took me back when… aahh" She trailed off and blushed before looking back at her two friends who were both staring at her with interest.
Azul's cheeks flushed a deep scarlet as memories of that fateful encounter in the hideout came rushing back. Sulfur raised an eyebrow, a mischievous grin spreading across her face as she crossed her arms. "Oh really now? Do tell, Azul. What exactly did our naughty Baiser and Leopard do to you in their little love nest?"
"I...it's nothing! Never mind, let's just go," Azul stammered, averting her gaze. But Magenta wasn't about to let her off the hook that easily.
"Come on Azul, spill it! We're your best friends, you can tell us anything," Magenta prodded, her green eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"Ahh! Well...I… Umm… They..." Azul fidgeted with the hem of her skirt. "Baiser used her dark magic to restrain me and then...and then Leopard started touching me all over. They stripped off my clothes until I was completely naked..."
Azul's blush deepened as she recalled the exquisite mixture of shame and arousal that had coursed through her body, bound and splayed out for Baiser and Leopard's hungry eyes and roaming hands. She could still feel the ghosting sensation of Leopard's tongue roaming over her most intimate places while Baiser's skilled fingers played her body like a finely tuned instrument, drawing out breathy moans and strangled cries of ecstasy.
"I tried to resist at first but...but it just felt so good, you know. I've never experienced anything like that before," Azul confessed, squirming at the memory of the intense pleasure that had wracked her body under her captors' skillful ministrations. "It was so wrong but I...I didn't want them to stop. I've never felt so good in my life..."
"Damn Azul, I didn't realize you were such a secret slut!" Sulfur laughed, reaching out to pinch Azul's flaming cheek. "Letting yourself get tied up and used like a sex toy by the enemy. Naughty naughty!"
"Hush, be nice Sulfur!" Magenta chided, though she was fighting back a blush herself. "It sounds like they forced themselves on you Azul. You have nothing to be ashamed about."
"That's the worst part," Azul mumbled miserably, burying her burning face in her hands. "I...I liked it. A lot. I think some twisted part of me fell in love with them at that moment, even knowing I shouldn't. I'm so fucked up..."
Magenta and Sulfur exchanged a meaningful glance. Sulfur put a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Girl, you ain't any more fucked up with we are."
Magenta joined her, putting a hand on Azul as well. "That's right, we won't judge you. Now come on, you can tell us everything as we fly back to our hideout."
"God… Do I have to?" Azul lamented as she stepped out of the safe house.
Sulfur shook her head as she followed after. "Magenta, I don't think our training ground counts as a secret hideout."
None of them noticed the shadow that had slipped out of Leopard's and disappeared.
—
As the magical girls of Tres Magia along with leopard filed out of the Dollhouse, Dr. Alice lingered for a moment, her scarlet eyes fixed on Utena's slumbering form. The teen looked so fragile amidst the stark white sheets of the hospital bed, her violet hair fanned out around her like a halo. The steady beep of the heart monitor filled the room, a constant reminder of the precious life that nearly went out.
Alice's brow furrowed as she studied the readouts on the various machines, taking note of Utena's vital signs and magical energy levels. The battle with Enormita had taken a heavy toll on the girl's body and spirit. But beneath the surface, Alice could sense a wellspring of untapped potential, a vast ocean of magical power just waiting to be unleashed. A core of pure mana sat in her chest like a small sun.
With a final, thoughtful glance at her patient, Alice turned and made her way out of the room, the heels of her shoes clicking softly against the polished floor. She had other matters to attend to, Kiwi had been utterly exhausted by her actions in the fight that took place little more than an hour ago and she needed to check up on her friend.
As the door clicked shut behind her, a small figure that had hovered quietly in the corner and observed everything that had gone on finally moved. Venalita hovered in the air, her yellow eyes fixed on Utena's unconscious form with a mixture of curiosity and calculation.
The familiar drifted closer, her ears twitching as she studied the slumbering girl. Utena's chest rose and fell with each shallow breath, the bruises and lacerations mostly gone thanks to the combined efforts of Sulfur's healing magic and Alice's domain speeding her recovery. But it was the subtle aura of power that emanated from Utena's very being that truly captured Venalita's attention.
Even in her weakened state, Utena radiated an energy that was unlike anything Venalita had ever encountered before. It was raw and primal, a force of nature that threatened to burst forth at any moment. Venalita's mind raced as she recalled the events at Nacht Base, the way Utena had stood tall and defiant in the face of Lord Enorme's wrath.
The girl had been a sight to behold, her eyes blazing with determination as she faced down the dark lord and her minions. The air around her had crackled with barely restrained power, the stars on her cheeks pulsing with an almost blinding intensity. Venalita had watched in awe as Utena had channeled a veritable mountain of magic in her rage.
As Venalita loomed over Utena's prone form, she could feel the raw, untamed energy that simmered just beneath the surface of the girl's skin. It was a force that promised both immense power and unpredictable chaos, a tantalizing combination that set the familiar's mind alight with possibilities. She knew that Utena's magic was ripening with each passing day, growing stronger and more potent.
Venalita understood that Utena was not yet complete, she needed more, a subtle nudge to truly harness her potential and bloom. The familiar's arm extended slowly, the baggy sleeve draping over her dark limb as she reached out to touch the star. Just a small adjustment, a delicate tweak to the girl's magical catalyst, and Utena would be putty in her hands, ready to be molded.
The air seemed to thicken with anticipation as Venalita's arm drew closer, the distance between her hidden hand and the star shrinking with each passing heartbeat. Time itself seemed to slow, the world narrowing down to this single, crucial moment. The familiar's body hummed with a mixture of excitement and trepidation.
But just as Venalita's fingers were about to graze the star's shimmering surface, Utena's hand snapped up with lightning speed, her slender fingers wrapping around the familiar's sleeve-draped arm in an iron grip. Venalita froze, her yellow eyes widening in surprise as Utena's eyelids fluttered open, revealing twin pools of molten gold that burned with an intensity that sent a shiver down the familiar's spine.
Utena's gaze locked onto Venalita's, a silent challenge sparking between them as the girl's lips curled into a knowing smirk. The air crackled with the weight of unspoken words and simmering tension. Venalita's mind raced, trying to calculate her next move as Utena's grip tightened, the girl's magic pulsing through her veins.
In that instant, Venalita realized she may have underestimated Utena's will and just how little Utena trusted her. The familiar's eyes narrowed as she assessed the situation, her mind already formulating a new strategy.
"My, my, Utena," Venalita said cheerily, her voice dripping with false sweetness as she cocked her head. "Whatever has gotten into you? I was just checking on your condition."
Utena's smirk deepened, a dangerous glint in her eyes. "And what does my 'condition' have to do with you reaching for my Transformation Star?"
The air crackled with unspoken challenges, the silence stretching taut. Venalita's mind whirred, calculating every move, but Utena's grip and blazing eyes left little room for manipulation.
After a moment, Venalita slowly pulled her arm back, and Utena released her hold. The familiar smoothed her sleeve, never breaking eye contact.
Venalita's voice dripped with honeyed concern. "So suspicious, I was only checking to ensure you were unharmed. As your guide, it is my duty to prioritize your well-being."
Utena's eyes narrowed with suspicion. "Cut the act, Venalita. We both know that's not the whole truth." She stared at the mascot and plucked the star off her chest before slipping it under her blankets. "You're always plotting and scheming. If you cared, you would have warned me about the fight."
The familiar's expression remained a mask of innocence. "Warned you? But Utena, I had no way of knowing such a confrontation would occur."
Utena's golden eyes flashed with barely contained anger as she glared at Venalita. "Don't play dumb with me," she hissed, her voice low and dangerous. She tapped the covers where her star was hidden. "You made us transform before we even set foot in Nacht Base. If that's not a clear indication that you knew what was coming, I don't know what is. You made sure that we would be ready for a fight and that our identities would be protected."
Vena's expression shifted, a sly smile playing at the corners of her mouth as she regarded Utena with newfound appreciation. "Well, well, aren't you the clever one? Your intuition is getting sharper, Utena. You're right - I had a… suspicion that a confrontation was inevitable given your appreciation for magical girls."
Vena's eyes glinted as she continued, "Of course, there was always the slim possibility that you might bend the knee, pledging your unwavering loyalty to Lord Enorme. But let's be honest, that was a rather miniscule chance, wasn't it? Your love of magical girls is simply to great to serve under someone so… brutal."
Utena's gaze drifted upwards, remembering the macabre display of Magia hearts suspended from the ceiling. The soft, pulsing glow of the hearts that made them glitter like stars in the night sky, their colors mingling and dancing in a twisted kaleidoscope. Each heart represented a magical girl whose power had been cruelly ripped away, leaving behind either a crushed spirit, or a dead body.
"Why?" Utena's voice was barely above a whisper, her eyes hidden by her drooping bangs. "Why is Enormita hunting down magical girls?"
Venalita shrugged her shoulders. "Lord Enorme is the one in charge here, there was little I could do to stand in her way." Venalita turned to the window that showed a false image of a clear and bright sky. "She has grand dreams, you see. Dreams of conquest, of domination, of a world that bows before her might."
The mascot turned back to Utena, her yellow eyes glowing with an eerie light. "Lord Enorme sees magical girls as a threat to her ambitions. In her eyes, they are the only force capable of standing against her. And so, she has made it her mission to eliminate them all, one by one."
The familiar's voice took on a somber tone as she continued, "The magical girl hunt was entirely her doing. She personally devised the strategies, selected the targets, and often led the attacks herself. Her cruelty knows no bounds, Utena. She cares not for their dreams, their hopes, their very lives... unless they bend the knee and swear fealty to her cause."
Venalita let her statement hang in the air for a moment. "And so, she hunts them. One by one, group by group, she rips away their power, leaving them broken and helpless before her might. Some she breaks in spirit, crushing their will to fight. Others..." Venalita's voice trailed off, letting the implication hang heavy in the air.
Utena felt a seething rage building within her as Venalita's words sank in. The image of those Magia Hearts dangling from the throne room ceiling like macabre trophies burned in her mind, a cruel mockery of the power and majesty they once represented. Each glimmering jewel was a reminder of a magical girl who had fallen, her vibrant spirit snuffed out by Enorme's relentless cruelty.
She couldn't help but imagine the faces behind those hearts - the bright, hopeful eyes that had once sparkled with determination, the soft lips that had curved into gentle smiles as they fought to protect the innocent. Now, they were nothing more than broken husks, their wills shattered and their bodies left to rot in the wake of Enorme's ruthless conquest.
Utena's hands clenched into fists at her sides, her nails digging into her palms as a wave of revulsion and possessive desire washed over her. Those magical girls should be out in the world acting at shining beacons of hope. They should have been hers, each and every one of them. She would have cherished them, nurtured their power, and guided them with a loving hand. Under her care, they would have blossomed like rare flowers, their beauty and strength reaching new heights as they basked in the warmth of her affection.
She could almost feel their soft skin beneath her fingertips, hear their breathy sighs as she showered them with tender kisses and whispered words of devotion. In her mind's eye, she saw them kneeling at her feet by the dozens, their eyes shining with adoration and their bodies trembling with barely contained desire. They would have given themselves to her willingly, their hearts and souls intertwined with hers in an unbreakable bond of love and loyalty.
But now, those precious magical girls were lost forever, their potential squandered by Enorme's savage brutality. Utena's heart ached with a profound sense of loss, a yawning void that could never be filled. She knew that she would never stop yearning for what could have been, for the countless magical girls who had been ripped away from her before she ever had the chance to claim them as her own.
As the weight of her grief and fury threatened to overwhelm her, Utena turned her gaze to Venalita, her golden eyes blazing with a fierce determination. She would not let Enorme's reign of terror continue unchallenged. She would fight, with every ounce of her strength and every beat of her heart, to create a world where magical girls could thrive under her tender guidance. And when the time came, she would make Enorme pay for every precious life she had stolen, every beautiful soul she had shattered beyond repair.
She pictured Enorme's smug, arrogant face, those cruel gold eyes glinting with sadistic glee as the tyrant brought ruin and despair to the magical girls she cherished so deeply. The very thought made Utena's blood boil, her heart pounding with a furious, righteous anger that demanded retribution.
"She will pay," Utena whispered, her voice low and dangerous, each word dripping with venomous promise. "Enorme will rue the day she dared to lay a finger on my beloved magical girls. I will make her suffer as they have, I will break her as she has broken so many innocent hearts."
Utena's mind raced with visions of the future, of the day when she would finally confront the vile tyrant who had caused such unimaginable pain. She could almost hear Enorme's agonized screams, could almost see the once-proud villain brought low, groveling at her feet and begging for mercy that would never come.
"You will kneel before me, Enorme," Utena hissed, her eyes narrowing to dangerous slits as she pictured the delicious scene. "You will plead for forgiveness, you will beg me to end your miserable existence. But there will be no mercy for you, no redemption for the atrocities you have committed."
Utena's power pulsed within her, dark tendrils of energy coiling around her form as she embraced her strength. Gold eyes warped and shifted into stars even as she stared down at her clenching fists. She would need every ounce of power to bring Enorme to her knees, to make the villain feel even a fraction of the agony she had inflicted upon so many innocent souls.
"I will tear you down, piece by piece," Utena promised, her voice barely above a whisper as she savored the thought of Enorme's ultimate defeat. "Prepare yourself, Enorme," Utena murmured as she reached up to scratch an incessant itch on her left cheek. "Your reign of terror ends now. I am coming for you, and when I find you, it will be you who kneels."
Venalita smiled.
