Meeting In The Sky

Metropolis: Mid- Day, Daily Planet

Clark Kent shut down his laptop, placed it in his bag and locked it in his cabinet.

"Where are you going?" Lois Lane asked.

Clark quirked his brow and looked up at the clock then at Lois.

"Lunch break."

Lois picked up a book he had on his desk. "You're taking a book to lunch?"

"Just passing the time."

"You're such a square."

Clark shrugged. "Maybe I am but I don't understand why just catching up on a few pages of a book during a lunch break is me being a square?"

"I mean not even a phone call? Didn't Jimmy set you up on a date a few weeks ago?"

"He declined," Jimmy said walking over to Clark's desk eating a bag of chips. "Actually, he didn't show up at all."

"I told you something came up last minute, Jim."

"Yeah, I know. But it's starting to become reoccurring. If you don't want to go out, it's okay."

"It's not that I don't want to go out. It's just I'm busy and-"

"Not interested. It's fine, CK. I'm not complaining of having all the ladies to myself."

"Ugh, Olsen, don't be a douche."

"I'm a ladies man, Lois. The ladies love me just as much as I love them," Jimmy smiled.

"While you guys argue about what to call Jimmy while he flirts with multiple women, I'm going to lunch."

Clark walked away with his book in hand.

"I don't know whether to feel sorry for him or not. He has such a weird standoffish mentality."

"Maybe because you're rude to him all the time?"

"No, I'm not. Kent's a big boy. I'm sure he should've learned to have a backbone with all the farm work he did back in small town."

Jimmy shook his head and walked away back to his desk.

"What?" Lois questioned.

Clark stepped out of the elevator and walked around the building to the nearby alley. He made sure no one else would turn the corner and took off quickly into the skies.

Clark leaned back comfortably with his hand behind his head as if lounging in a chair and started reading his book.

However, no more than 5 minutes, he smirked hearing a very familiar heartbeat. Soft feminine hands then covered his eyes.

Clark grinned, "I didn't expect you to be around this area so soon, Diana…?"

"I was able to have a little time for myself getting away from the Embassy and thought I'd stop by to see my Beloved." She removed her hands from his eyes and flew above him upside down. "And you were suppose to play the game fairly and guess it was me," she pouted.

Clark chuckled. "I'm no good with that knowing your heartbeat, Di."

"Humor me, Darling."

"Okay…okay…" he smiled.

Diana turned right side up and flew closer to sit in his lap. Clark place his book in his left hand to wrap his right arm around Diana. A new sensation pulsed through him as he felt Diana's soft body against his. Diana wrapped her right arm around his neck and caressed his cheek with her left hand pulling him into a soft kiss.

"What are you reading?"

"Hound of the Baskervilles, the the third of the four crime novels featuring Sherlock Holmes."

"Oh! It's so sexy when you're engaged in reading such literature."

Clark quirked his brow. "Di, you really think me reading is sexy?"

"I do. The expressions you have when I know you are thinking in depth about it. The glasses are what really gets me," she smiled seductively.

Clark felt a jolt in his pants below his belt.

"Did you…? Um…did you want to grab something to eat or…?"

Diana giggled. "You can take me to dinner after work. Right now, I want you for an appetizer."

"Appetizer, huh?" he smirked and kissed her, deeply, catching her by complete surprise.

Her exclamation of "Kal" was smothered by his lips.

"Diana", he growled, continuing to explore her mouth.

Diana moaned against his mouth, hearing him say her name was incredibly sexy. She took his bottom lip between her teeth, biting down gently.

Unconsciously, Clark dropped his book, placing his hand on Diana's thigh. Diana pulled away, breathing heavily, looking down.

"Your book!" Diana gasped.

Clark laughed. "It's okay. No one is going to get hit. Where it seems it will land, probably won't even notice it." He grinned devilishly. "Besides, I'm much more interested in having my hands on my gorgeous Goddess."

Diana smiled and blushed. She adjusted herself to straddle his left leg. She then took off his glasses tucking them safely into Clark's pants pocket. She loosened his tie and untied it then began to unbutton his shirt.

"What do you think if someone did see us up close here like this?"

Diana bit her lip. "How scandalous…" she said in a sultry tone. "Wonder Woman and Clark Kent high flying rendezvous."

"I could change fully or we can just not have anything on at all."

Diana laughed and shook her head, placing her hand over his emblem.

"Completely unclothed is tempting but we have to wait til later so we can take our time. But for right now, my Darling, along with the sexy glasses, I love it when you have your shirt unbuttoned like this. This is you, my Love. Superman, Kal-El, Clark Kent…one man. This is how I want you."

"Then, where were we?"

"We were here…" Diana kissed him softly again, sighing against his lips.

Clark groaned, pulling her even closer against him, continuing their battle for dominance in each others mouth. Diana took hold of his face with her hands again, deepening the already fiery kiss.

Clark's kisses left Diana's mouth, placing feather-light one across her jaw and down her neck; proceeding to give her the biggest love mark of her life.

"Oh Gods!" she moaned.

Diana arched her body into him, allowing him more access and started to slowly grind on him.

Clark's kisses became much more feverish, but the way he handled the rest of her body was cautious, with gentle caresses all over as if she was the most fragile piece of china he had ever encountered.

Diana's scent clouded his senses. Her wandering hands distracted him. The rise and fall of her chest filled his heart with adoration. He couldn't help but bring a hand up to rest on her cheek.

Diana continued grinding against him causing Clark to mumble her name quietly into the kiss. That was when Diana broke it and just stared into his eyes. She was breathing heavily and Clark could feel each and every one of her breaths against his lips. Her closeness to him was driving him crazy with lust. They leaned in close again foreheads touching.

Clark placed his hand on her thigh given a squeeze then up farther to her rear making her giggle.

"I want to take you home, Di."

"I know…but, Darling, it will be worth the wait. Nice quiet dinner then the Fortress…"

"Fortress kind of night?" He smirked. "I'm all for it."

All Clark's attention was focused on her lips and it wasn't long before he found himself slowly leaning in towards her again. Diana closed the gap between them and their lips crashed together in a soul shattering kiss. Clark's tongue slipped between her full lips causing her to moan. His tongue found hers, the tips gently meeting then massaging one another. Even though they were fully clothed she could still feel his hard erection pressing into the v of her thighs. Every now and again she would rotate her hips which led to him thrusting his hips upwards. This elicited a groan from him that started deep in his chest emanating up through his throat, passing into her.

They continued kissing languidly, exploring the spaces in each other's mouths. After a few moments Clark paused, breaking the kiss. Diana's eyelids fluttered open to find his ocean blue eyes gazing into her cerulean eyes. They just looked at each other, not saying anything. The only movements were her slim fingers laced through his hair while he wrapped a loose, textured curl of her hair around his masculine finger.

Diana could remember a time when at first it was unnerving to be simply staring into his eyes, such an intimate gesture. But as he held her gaze something shifted in her heart as if making room for a totally new feeling, this new person in her life. Her eyes moved left to right almost imperceptibly as if trying to find something. And when she did find that special something, there was no hesitation with trusting him, letting him in, and falling in love.

Clark looked at the love mark he left on her neck. He moved her hair to cover it.

"Not too bad."

"Oh, not like the last times when my hair wasn't enough and needed make up. Another scandal. Who's the special man in Wonder Woman's life leaving passion marks?"

"Ha! Of course the headline would automatically say Superman."

"Yes! Though the twist is that it's really Clark Kent."

"Even bigger twist is that Clark Kent and Superman is one in the same."

"I believe one day we will get to the point of the reveal. But for now, it's so much fun with our game of disguise."

"You know no matter what, I'll always recognize you."

"Yes, I know. I mean an indicator would be the markings all over my body that lasts for weeks. Hm...I'm starting to think you're doing this on purpose."

Clark gave a sly grin. "I can't deny that, Gorgeous."

Diana smiled. "I enjoyed this break with you."

"Yeah, me too. A moment of peace before getting back to work."

Diana nodded. "Go ahead and get back. The next hours will pass quickly and we will be together again."

"I'll surely be watching the clo-…"

"Kal?"

"Emergency. Robbery and car chase."

"Where?"

"North Ridge Avenue. We can cut them off at-"

Diana shook her head then silenced him with a soft kiss.

"You get back to work. You were actually suppose to be back 10 minutes ago. I'll handle that."

"But, Di-"

She placed her finger over his lips. "No buts. I got it."

Clark smiled and pushed her finger away pulling her into one last kiss. It seemed he was pouring all his love for into the kiss.

"See you in a few hours, Beloved."

"As I said earlier, I'll be counting down the rest of the hours. Love you, Di."

"Love you, too, Kal."

15 minutes later….Daily Planet

Clark adjusted his glasses and tie walking back to his desk.

"You're late. I know that book wasn't that good," Lois said looking up from her desk. She then raised her brow. "Where is your book anyway."

"Oh, I must have forgot it…"

"What?! How is that?!"

"I…uh-"

Lois inhaled deeply. She stood up walking closer to Clark and sniffed around him.

"Lois? What are you doing?!"

"Is that Shae Kissel's Fire and Orchids perfume?"

"Uh...? Who? What?"

"It's an exclusive that's not even out yet. I mean only the highest of class or celebrities were gifted it for promotion last week."

"Oh…really?"

"Don't act clueless, Smallville, who was it you interviewed?"

"It wasn't an interview. I ran into a friend."

"A friend? Really?"

Lois crossed her arms with a look of disbelief. She then noticed Clark's shirt buttoned wrong.

"Look, I don't want to know any details of what you did for the last hour but there's no way you have some random friend with that perfume."

"She isn't random."

"She? So who is she?"

"You've seen her a few times. She works for the Embassy and does a lot of charity work."

"The embassy? Isn't that in Boston? What is she doing in Metropolis?"

"Lois, this isn't an interview or interrogation. She travels a lot. She's here for work and we just so happen to run into each other. That's it."

"If your shirt wasn't buttoned the way it is, I would've believed you."

"Wha-?!" Clark looked down to see he missed a button so his shirt was crooked. "Oh…" He quickly turned fixing his shirt. "Listen Lois…" he started turning back around. "What I do or who I meet with in my personal time isn't any of your business anyway."

"Oh? What? Your afraid I'll scoop you out yet another exclusive?"

"I really don't care one way or another. Like I said, my personal time is what it is…personal."

Lois looked at him shocked. "Well…No need to get defensive, Kent."

"I'm not defensive. I'm just saying it's my business and it shouldn't matter to you."

"Look, I mean, whoever you are seeing, if you are… or just a quickie it seems…I'm sure she must be nice at least."

"I have work to do, Lois. No time for this."

"Fine," Lois shrugged and walked away.

Clark sighed and shook his head.

4 hours later…

Clark was packing up again to end his day.

"Hey Clarkie, how about happy hour?"

"He won't go, Grant. It's a waste of time even now trying to ask."

"Don't be mean, Lane!"

"She's right, Cat. CK always has other plans."

"Those other plans are sitting home alone in front of a computer screen."

Clark sighed. "That's enough. I am not abou-" He paused keening in on soft humming and a heartbeat that made his own heart jump.

"Kent?"

He heard the elevator open and stepping out, heels clicked on the floor. Mumblings and whispers erupted from other staffers.

"Who is she?!"

"Wow!"

"I think I just found the woman of my dreams!"

"Who's she here for?!"

The soft humming continued, then there was alluring, "hello".

"Smallville, what the hell is wrong with you?!"

Clark frowned hearing Steve Lombard.

"Hey, are you looking for me?"

"No, I'm looking for Clark Kent."

"What? Kent?!" Lombard yelled out surprised.

Clark and the others looked up to see the tall curvaceous gorgeous woman wearing an absolutely stunning slim fitting dark blue crisscross cut out front design V-neck, sleeveless midi dress.

"Holy!" Jimmy said with wide eyes.

"Diana, hey!" Clark greeted happily.

She smiled. "Hey, Clark!" She walked up to and embraced him. "I was going to go to the restaurant to wait for you but wanted to meet with you so we can go together instead."

"Oh, ok. Almost done packing up. We can stop by my apartment first, too, so I can change."

Cat cleared her throat. "Excuse me…you're Diana Prince, UN ambassador."

"Oh, yes. Yes, I am," she smiled.

"Oh…my…God! We've only seen you in passing. Never up close and personal as Clarkie has been so lucky to do."

"Oh, sorry…" Clark laughed and rubbed the back of his head. "Diana, this is Cat Grant, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen. Cat, Lois, Jimmy, this is Diana Prince."

"It's nice to finally meet you all. Clark has told me a lot about you."

"We've met before actually," Lois said folding her arms. "Short interview. Nothing significant to remember."

"Yes, Ms. Lane. Though, I remember as it was only 2 years ago."

Lois raised her brow. "You're wearing Fire and Orchids perfume."

Cat gasped. "Are you?! How?! That's an exclusive!"

"Ms. Kissel is a friend of mine."

"Hmph…" Lois noticed Diana moving her hair. "So you are who Clark met at lunch and was late getting back."

Clark rolled his eyes.

Diana laughed softly. "When Clark and I are engaged in...conversations, we tend to forget time. Oh and by the way, Clark, I was able to get you book after you dropped it in the middle of the street, rushing to cross. It seems a few vehicles had a time running over it, unfortunately."

She handed it to him.

"I thought you said you forgot it earlier?" Lois questioned.

"Yeah, there was a rush of traffic to go back to get it. It was okay, though," he smiled at Diana taking the book. "I meant I forgot about it because I dropped it and I knew it would get ruined in the street. I can get another copy later."

"Oh, I will get it for you," Diana said.

"Thanks, Di." He kissed her cheek and took her hand. "I'll see you guys later."

"It was nice meeting you all. I hope to see you all again!"

Cat, Lois, and Jimmy stood there in shock watching them walk away.

"She is so gorgeous! Oh, wow!" Cat said waving slightly.

"What the hell…?" Lois said under her breath. "He is such a liar."

"I want to have her babies…" Jimmy drooled.

"Shut up, Olsen," Lois narrowed her eyes at him.

"So are they dating…?!" Cat asked. "When did that happen?!"

"Ha! Now it makes sense why CK was always like he had other plans!" Jimmy laughed.

"I don't believe it. I mean a woman like her dating a dork like Kent?"

"He isn't a dork, Lane! Clarkie is a catch, you're just in denial and jealous Clarkie isn't falling to your feet like Lomnerd."

"What?! Jealous?! Never." Lois quickly walked away.

"Yep…totally jealous," Jimmy snickered.

Outside the building, Clark and Diana were still holding hands walking slowly down the sidewalk.

"I didn't mean to cause any kind of commotion than I already have with you being late after lunch, Kal."

"What? No, no, you're fine, Di. That's just Lois thinking she has control or wanting control. Seeing you was unexpected." Clark smiled. "As always, turning heads."

Diana blushed.

Clark smirked and pulled her to him. Diana bit her lip and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Maybe we should change to have dinner at the fortress."

"Oh, I love that idea. As much as I love seeing you in a tie, I prefer to get these clothes off of you...the soon, the better.."

"And the better is that we can eat dinner in bed. Faster to get to dessert."

Diana giggled. "Naughty, Kal-El."

Clark kissed her lips softly then the tip of her nose.

Diana looked up at the sky and smiled. "We should have more meetings up there for lunch more often and with less clothing from time to time."

Clark smirked. "Oh yeah, most definitely!" He took her right hand in his placing it over his heart. "I love you, Ms. Prince. You know that right?"

Diana cupped his cheek with her left hand. "Yes, I know, Mr. Kent and I love you, too," she said before kissing him.
