The Rusherz join in on Armistice Day (AKA Veterans Day) and meet the lady who made poppy's a staple of the Militaries around the world, talk about getting Soar off the ground and even delve deep in their own military systems. Goes to show these retirees still got fight in them to help the Rusherz.
Calling all Vets!
November 11 1920; White house...
It was another busy day at the White House as Freedom came running holding something.
Freedom: *holding a calendar* Hey guys! Look at this!
The Rusherz came over as Freedom pointed to the day circled.
Freedom: We got another military Holiday.
Toro: Another one, *reads it with the others* 'Armistice Day'? *Smiles* Huh, they sure love their dough boys.
President Woodrow Wilson: *walks in* Actually, this is a new one.
They all turned to see the President smiling as he came over.
Liberty: You mean this Holiday isn't old?
President Woodrow Wilson: Indeed, about two years old now. Started last year after WWI ended, I wanted to do something for the men who had left the military after their duty was done.
Freedom: So, you guys made a day for retirees?-*smiles* Like your style Woody.
Woodrow smile grew at this.
President Woodrow Wilson: Like I said, I wish to thank and give tribute to them. I was wondering if you boys would like to join us for a lunch with the veterans today. I'm sure they would love to meet yo-
All Rusherz: *joy* YES!
Their answer was immediate.
Later, Lunch in...
Swoop: *Awe* Look at this...
The Rusherz were in awe at the surroundings of the interior. The area, contrast to the cold outside, was decorated with red flowers around the white dinning tables.
Freedom: I am loving the vibe here. Feels really cozy in here.
Edith Wilson: *comes over, smiling* Hello boys, glad to see you made it.
Liberty: Yes, was given a ride here thanks to you guys. We have to say we are loving the atmosphere-

All turned to see a women, who was in a bit of fear looking at the Rusherz. Seeing this Edith went over fast.

Anna stopped, her fear vanishing and awe was on her face. Alto gave a bow.
Alto: Permettez-moi de me présenter, je suis Alto the Saints Rusher. Puis-je demander votre nom?
Anna smiled, her shock vanishing as he curtsied.
Anna Guérin: Madame Anna Guérin, and it's a pleasure to meet you. I must say your french is on point, very on point. I am sorry for my reaction there, I was not expecting you all here.
Alto: Mr. Wilson invited us. He want's use to get a feel for the celebration here in the US.
With the the Rusherz came forward seeing her calm.
Stampede: I take it your a VIP here as well?
Anna nodded, fixing the fabric red poppy on her jacket.
Anna Guérin: Yes. My contributions in the war has given me a, unexpected fame. I created fabric poppies and me as well as many others used this to raise funds to support the families of both the fallen and the survivors. I worked with widows and orphans of my country France, while also giving lectures to aid the funds. The united states adopted the flower in September this year.
Spot: *remembers* OH! From that event the president was talking about! I heard some of the men call you "The Poppy Lady from France", I heard on the way here that the league has not only been recognized but also that Your American and French Children's League are going to expand! Your going global!
Lasso: *Smirks* Heh, your a powerful women there Mrs. Anna. I can tell your bonded must be really proud of your hard work.
The Rusherz nodded smiling.
Liberty: I think we all agree he's one lucky man to have a powerful strong and passionate women as his wife.
Anna was now blushing bashfully, taking out a fan and covering her face.
Anna Guérin: *To Edith* My goodness Edith, you were right. They are the epigame of gentlemen and chivalry.
Edith chuckled nodding.

The Rusherz were mingling with the vets and the VIPs invited to the event.
Robley Rex: I'm glad to see you are enjoying the event.
Soar smiled nodding as he sat there with a few Veterans, Liberty, and Peck.
Soar: We are. You mentioned about having planes?
Robley Rex: Why yes. It's still a new field but we're hoping if we have another conflict we will be able to have pros in the air.
Soar: Would you mind if I check them out. See, I have this pack that I use in the air..but it got damage during the final battle. I was hoping to find some parts to fix it.
Robley smiled nodding.
Robley Rex: Of course, we all gotta work together. I have heard you own a very peculiar way of flight travel; A jet-pack?
Peck :*smiles; pats Soar's back* Yep! He's a part of the flight squad of the team.
Veterans: FLIGHT SQUAD?
Liberty chuckled rubbing his head.
Liberty: Yeah, one of the lines of battle we call them when we go in for a big battle. Got alot of divisions for that. We organized a system on ability and strengths and some of the Rusherz are apart of more than one. I could tell you about each one-
He looked up-AND EVERYONE was around the table hearing this.
Liberty: *Blinks* Ah-I guess I'm speaking to everyone.

Liberty: *uses kitchen utensils for the talk* -Once we had enough on the team, we made a plan for the large battles we would face to protect the core.
All humans were looking at the table, the Rusherz watching and a few giving small giggles over their interest.
Liberty: We have the Flight Squad lead by Freefall and consist of him, Peck, Talon, Scavenger, Soar, and Swoop. Scavenger and Peck are also apart of a squad that can sense spirits with Arrow-Head and Chief-
President Woodrow Wilson: You can sense spirits.
The chuckled nervously at that.
Chief: Yeah um-we're, putting a pin on that on this planet. We had a-experience Halloween. Long story there.
He decided to not ask given they looked shaken a bit; that must of been one crazy Halloween for them.
Liberty: Now then, we have the battle ram squad lead by Stampede and consist of Rampage and Toro. Horns can literally go through stone wall if they want to. We also have the speedsters that have Steed, Sonar and Spot. Sonar is also our only Rusher who can do deep dives in water and that has been a huge help in the past.
Sonar gave a smile as Peg-Leg put a arm around him in pride.
Robley Rex: Do you have someone for mapping?
Liberty: *Smiles* We do. Peg-Leg is our finest mapper and navigator with Sonar, he actually was the first of us to map out the US and knows every location on the map!
Peg-Leg: Couldn't help it to be honest.
Liberty smiles as he continued.
Liberty: Sonar and Soar are good with tech too, so we might have a tech division in the near future. So-we have the feline division, and they are basically along with Scavenger the night patrol. They are lead by Beast and have Fang, Claw and Spot in it..well, once Spot was old enough. *Spot grins* And we have our weaponers, that consist of most the the Rusherz with weapons like Pick-Ax, Lasso and Thor for example.
Thor: Good to have weapon welders on hand to be safe.
Everyone was in awe as the Giant Rusher went on.
Liberty: Now here is where we get serious...the Power Core Rusherz.
Anna Guérin: Power Core Rusherz?
Alto: They are Rusherz who have the powers such as anti Gravity and electric.
Edith Wilson: *awe* Incredible!
Liberty: For those two examples, Talon is Anti Gravity and Bolt is electric. Those two need to be kept in check emotional wise, if they got anger-I think it's best we save the reason why you should never get any of us anger.
They nodded...Liberty's tone there was serious, they could feel a chill down their spine.
Liberty: And-that's what we got. Like I mentioned with us being around more tech and more options around we might add more divisions.
Robley Rex: That is a very good system you Rusherz have created. I can tell you boys have alot of experience with what you just told us about your system and that was enough for me and the others to see it.
The vets nodded in agreement, making the Rusherz blush a bit.
Robley Rex: Hey, if the day comes and those Bots come to earth *smirks*don't be afraid to ask these old dogs to help.
They soon smiled at this.
Liberty: Heh, old dogs still have a bite to them. We will certainly ask for your assistance and your knowledge when the time comes.
The veterans smiled, happy to hear that and that the Rusherz would still come to them for help.
Edith Wilson: *to her husband* I do believe this second year of Armistice is a rousing success.
President Woodrow Wilson: Indeed, I am hoping it grows more in the years to come. I want so much to see this holiday grow and flourish more.
The Vets and VIPs asked questions as the Rusherz answered in smiles.
Dusk, White house...
Liberty: Well, I do think we have more friends to look forward too.
The Rusherz and the presidential couple walked in, smiles on their faces.
Edith Wilson: I will say Anna was in quite a shock seeing you. I have no idea how the rest of the world will react-
Alto: We're gonna have to take Baby steps with this then Edi.
Freefall: *nods* Indeed. We're acclimate here on Earth first while also looking for Cyclops-
President Woodrow Wilson: I figured that's why Peg-Leg was on a roll with those maps, as well as why you hang out in the library.
They stopped, sorrow on their faces. Even after almost a WHOLE YEAR..Cyclops had not appear.
Sonar: Just-where is he? We tracked every spot and nothing.
Woodrow went down patting their backs with Edith.
President Woodrow Wilson: We'll find him boys, I promise. Besides, *warmly smiles* we're slowing edging our way to the month where miracles are at a all time high.
President Woodrow Wilson's voice: I promise he will appear before the time of tidings arrive.
The sounds of crunching leaves and frost was heard as he looked up.
?: Canton huh? Well, looks nice but-getting closer.
He went on, he kept going.
