Hello everyone!

A new series of one-shots…YAY!

I'm using the same prompts that I have been using for my Expendables (The Viking and the Amazon) and Leverage (Managing Leverage) one-shots, so if they seem familiar, that's why.

Just like the Leverage story, these are in a sort of order by episode. I found the structure of that from the other story very helpful, so I went that way again this time. Unlike the other two, however, I don't plan to have any interludes this time.

I will attempt to remember to put which episode of the show each one-shot correlates to in the Author's Notes at the beginning of each chapter as well. This one-shot is pre-series and doesn't reference any particular episode.

These center on my OC, Aurora Jade York (Ra or AJ for short), and her relationship with the different members of the Librarians team as the Archivist. These are going to be set before, throughout the original series, and after, but not going to include the fourth season (I really didn't like that season) or The Librarians: The Next Chapter (because I already have a plan for all my prompts, and I don't want to wait for the first episode to come out).

The legalities. I do not own any of the Librarians franchise (characters, places, and objects especially) and this is mostly au. Rated M just to be on the safe side.

Also, please don't be afraid to write reviews. I would love to hear from you all!

Hope you enjoy!

Prompt: "You-you are- "

"Beautiful, a genius, immensely talented."

"Dangerous."

"You have quite the excellent resume, Ms. York. I do believe that the Library has chosen well for its Archivist. It has been far too long since there has been one!"

Aurora Jade York, better known as AJ or Ra, just raised an eyebrow at the older (and shorter) woman standing in front of her. The younger woman had received a white envelope slipped under the door of her hotel room right after she had had a grueling day out looking for a job the day before. It had instructed her to report to the New York Metropolitan Library and meet with someone named Charlene about a job. She'd practically jumped at the chance, though now she wasn't so sure. "I'm presuming that there is more to this than what I'm seeing."

Charlene's eyes began to twinkle as she beckoned Ra to follow her over to a bookshelf at the end of the room. The older woman pulled a book forward, causing part of the shelf to move and reveal what looked like an elevator. Charlene beckoned her again, an action that caused the younger woman to hold in a chuckle as she joined her.

It took a moment before Ra realized that the elevator seemed to be moving faster than should be possible. Deciding that that was inconsequential at the moment, Ra stood straighter with her hands clasped behind her back. Once the door opened, she was treated to an interesting sight. A man who looked to be a few years older than herself was engaged in sword play with what seemed to be a floating sword. After a beat, Ra turned towards Charlene as they exited the elevator. "I presume that this shows that magic is real."

Charlene smiled wide. "A quick mind. You're perfect!"

Before either of them could say anything else, the man called out, "Who are you and why are you here?"

Ra raised her eyebrow at him, choosing to ignore the floating sword that was now pointed at her throat. "My name is Aurora York. I am the new Archivist for the Library. And am I to assume that you are the Librarian?"

Charlene chuckled, causing both of them to turn toward her. "Oh, you are perfect! That is the Librarian, Flynn Carsen."

Flynn narrowed his eyes at the newcomer. "You are…"

Ra cut him off with a scoff. "Beautiful, a genius, and immensely talented."

"I was going to say dangerous."

Charlene just laughed out loud. "Oh yes, you will fit in here perfectly!"
