Hearing carolers outside, Liberty pounders on all that has happened in the span of a year.
Song is called "little stars".
Tiny Notes
December 10, 1920...
Liberty sighed as he watched the others talk. He was still warping his head around the fact Cyclops was found just before the holidays, and the fact that Spot nearly froze to death scared him.
Liberty: So much in one night...just-wonder how this Santa Claus does it?
..All froze as they heard something in the air.
Fang: *ear twitch* Hey...there it is again?
Spot: *warped in a blanket* What is?
Pick-Ax: That music from that night. Where is coming from?
Liberty took imitative and looked around, he stopped at the window seeing a group of people, singing.
Liberty: Why are they singing outside?
President Woodrow Wilson: *walking over* It's a tradition for this time of year, they are Carolers.
Liberty turned, seeing the President join him watching the small show.
Liberty: Carolers...-sighs- *closes eye* Will say the music on this planet can be soothing.
Woodrow smiled as he placed a arm on his shoulder as they listened to the songs.
.
Liberty walked back in once the music had ended.
Cyclops: Hey Lib, what was that sound?
Liberty: *smiles* Its just a group of humans called Carolers that were singing songs for the season.
Stampede: That makes alot of sense now. So this is another tradition they do this time of year...wonder if they were singing to help keep us calm during that night?
Spot gave a smile nodding.
Spot: I think so. They were so worried about all of us, news travels fast so they all wanted to do anything they can to help is.
That got the rest of them smiling...yet deep down Liberty felt a bit-off.

That night...
Liberty was still awake that night, not being able to sleep. He had so much buzzing in his head at the realization that it would be one year since the destruction of Cordalion, escaping Sudden Death and Lord Zatu's army, and their arrival on this planet. And so much had happen in the span of one year.
He sighed as he got up, slowly stepping on the floor as to not wake the others. He opened the door as left for a small walk...though not realizing that some one did wake up.
..
Liberty wandered the halls, the lights of the night outside being what illuminated the area. He had gotten use to these halls, the inhabitants...and yet, he still felt lost here. Maybe it was because they've been so use to the temple, hunting and surviving, being on the clock in-case of a attack.
NOW...Now it was just-waiting.
Liberty: For-what now though? Could we find the Guardians here? When Will Sudden Death or Zatu find out? Just-how long?
He stopped, looking out the window. The snow was falling, and a few stars peered through the clouds.
Liberty: *shakes his head* If I continuing thinking all these questions it's not gonna help the others. Come on, think of something else..hmmm.
He closed his eyes, and took a breath-
Liberty: The winds whisper a song
gentle in the trees
a melody yet to be heard
for all of us to see
Liberty wanders the halls in a slow pace.
Gently as lit snow is falling
like stars becomes streamed beams
Someone stops in place as Liberty continues.
Oh little stars alighting the souls,
What's the path that I need to see?
Liberty took a breath to continue but-
Freefall: *steps out* The world comes clear, *Liberty turns* as winter is seen
a slumber awakens these
beings far and near, and plays them
a simple Melody
Freefall walks over with a warm smile.
A lullaby that wakens thee
with dreams waiting to be seen.
Liberty gave a small warm smile back
Oh little stars alighting the souls,
Lead me back home, please?
Both held their hands as they looked at eachother smiling, as peace flowed through them, one...unknown, but welcomed.
Liberty and Freefall: A glowing landscape behold me
brings me untold peace
As little stars falling
blankets all the scene
Liberty allowed tears to fall from his eyes.
A warmness forms in my heart and soul
a message being told to thee.
Freefall wipes them as well was his own
Oh little stars alighting my soul,
light my way for me.
Light my way for me...
Liberty gave a raspy sighed.
Liberty: I-Almost forgot that song was in my head.
Freefall: You going to be okay?
Liberty took some breaths nodding.
Liberty: Now I will-
?: MY. WORD.
Both turned to see Woodrow and Edith Wilson in tears and awe, Edith's night gown flowing and Woodrow holding a candle.
Edith Wilson: That was, that was beautiful.
President Woodrow Wilson: That was wondrous.
Liberty and Freefall walked over.
Liberty: *Blushes a bit* S-Sorry I woke you two u-
Edith Wilson: No no! We just heard this beautiful song and we had to look...you two had amazing voices.
Freefall: *blushes a bit* T-Thank you. To be honest this, was the first time we sang so we're a bit surprise too.
President Woodrow Wilson: Well you both sound amazing. Though I wonder, why are you both up this late?
Liberty: Just got antsy.
Freefall looked at Liberty, who gave him a look saying "wanna talk about it later".
.
.
Freefall: Lib, why are you up? Is everything alright?
Both were sitting outside the guest bedrooms, having said goodnight to the president and first lady. Needless to say the Seahawk Rusher was very concern.
Liberty: Just-can you beleive it's almost been a whole year since that day.
Freefall nodded, now having a clear picture on what was wrong.
Liberty: So much had happened since we arrived on this planet, and my mind was just full of more questions than answers.
Freefall: Such as?
Liberty:-How long? How long till Sudden Death and Lord Zatu find where we are, or if the Guardians will appear on Earth. I have no idea what's gonna happen now with all this new information.
?: Explains why you looked off before those Carolers came.
Both turned to see Stampede in the doorway, closing the door silently.
Stampede: I woke up to a small sound. Saw you both weren't and bed and heard your conversations outside...*sits with them* Does it help I've been thinking the same way.
Freefall: *nods* same here. Been like that since Cyclops came back.
Liberty gave a small smile as silence filled the area. Both looked at the ceiling in thought till finally-
Liberty:-This-this place...you been feeling it too right? How much energy is on this planet. I've never felt so much energy in years.
Stampede: And the league helping us; O'Brian, Carr, Halas, the football teams, they all have been so excited to help us.
Freefall: And the people of this country; Mr. and Mrs. Wilson, the military, even those living their daily lives, they all been so welcoming.
All three soon smile thinking, then-
Freefall: I told Cyclops this a few days ago, but this might be a good thing for us *both turned to him surprised*. We're growing, something that we all really needed. Being honest as much as I miss our planet, we were all survivors living in a temple on high alert constantly. Maybe-this can be a new start for us? It could take years, DECADES EVEN, for them to find us...Earth seems to be on their last radar. This is our chance to just, live.
Stampede: *muses with a hum* A new slate for all of us eh? *smiles* Now that's a game plan I would go with in a heart beat. I gotta say, I've grown a bit attach to this little planet and we are far away from them...I wouldn't mind just living in the moment, no matter what happens. Who knows, we might learn a few tricks and abilities before the next course of action. Heh, maybe this planet can help melt Blow-Torch's heart a bit.
Liberty smile had grown at that point as he leaned back.
Liberty: Living, a new slate...We can just live and plan. *looks at both of them; grins* I like this idea. You both are right; it could be decades before anything happens Core wise, but for now let's just try and live this new normal. *brings the two in a warm hug, Freefall and Stampede returned it* No matter what this planet brings, no matter what it is god bad or strange, as long as I have you guys...We're gonna be okay.
Warm smiles were on their faces as they hugged.
...
They were once again looking at the ceiling, content smiles on their faces.
Stampede: I heard that song by the way...been so long since I heard one of our own.
Freefall and Liberty nodded.
Liberty: Glad we manage to save some of our culture in our minds
Freefall: We-actully got the Mr and Mrs. as a audience. They found it beautiful, even though it was our first time singing.
Stampede smile warmed, and-
Stampede: Oh little stars alighting my soul,
light my way for me.
Both turned in shock, hearing Stampede sing for the first time too. All three soon smiles as they looked at the ceiling.
All three: Light my way for me.
.
.
.
Beast yawned as he got up, rubbing his eyes.
Beast: Thirsty...
Beast got up and opened the door-stopping in place and turn when he saw Liberty, Stampede and Freefall sleeping on the wall.
Beast: Wha-why are they asleep out here?
Peck: *tired; pokes head out* Whose out here?
Peck, and soon Cyclops, looked over seeing the three head Rusher Leaders asleep with smiles.
Cyclops: Why in the world are they sleeping out here?
Beast: I have no clue but we should get them back to bed.
They brought the three up and went back in, placing them in their beds and bringing the covers up.
Peck: Hey, did you guys hear something while you slept?
Beast: Yeah, it sounded like a old song from our planet.
Cyclops looked at the three sleeping Rusherz-then smiled as he thought of the voices in those tiny notes being sung.
Cyclops: I might have an idea, but let's ask them tomorrow.
For now, he would keep his idea on who were the singers to himself-
Cyclops' thoughts: Maybe I can see if we can do some tunes for this Holiday season. I will admit, I'm liking the music here. And hearing those three sing, I am SO looking forward to hearing the others vocals.
Cyclops smirked...he might get use to this planet after all.
