Someone reserved a date for George Halas and Minne Bushing, doesn't take too long for the two to figure out who their cupid for Valentines day is?

George was working on the paper work to official own the team when the phone rang.
George Halas: George Halas speaking.
Man (otherline): Hello, I wish to remind you of your dinner reservation for this evening.
George Halas: *confused*-Pardon?
Man (otherline): You have a reservation at North Pond, dinner and skating.
-George did not remember doing this for him and Minne. He couldn't cancel though. he knew that would damage the popular location.
George Halas: Thank you um-who reserved this if I may ask?
Man (otherline): Someone who works with you from your acquired Football team.
HE SMIRKED. He had a pretty good idea who it was.
George Halas: thoughts: GEE, WONDER WHO DID THIS.
George Halas: Thank you. We shall see you there.
Man (otherline): Oh and the theme is a dark type of orange and navy blue.
George, for some reason like this color scheme. With the call down he nodded as he dialed on his phone.

Later that evening...
George adjusted his burnt orange bow tie, a fine navy blue suit on and roses in hand. He had alerted Minnie on their unexpected Valentine's day date and the time had come to pick her up.
George Halas: Oh boy, deep breaths George.
He knocked on the door.
Minne Bushing voice: Coming.
George heard footsteps as the door opened-his mouth dropped when he saw his lady dressed in a fine navy dress with a burnt orange fur coat on.
George Halas:-DANG.
Minne Bushing: *chuckles* See you like this look too. So, shall we.
George nodded as he got his smile on, hooking arms with his love as the two went to his car...unknowingly being watched with excitement by someone.

North Pond...
Minne and George looked in awe at the wintery scene in front of them.
Minne Bushing: *Awe* My word George, did he really manage to get this?
George Halas: *awe* Yeah. Check twice at the cash register. I gotta ask him about this later.
A waiter walked over, bowing nicely.
Waiter: Halas and lady Bushing, your table is right this way.
The two followed the waiter inside, they passed a few others to the back room...they froze seeing the area decorate nicely, a table in the center with three candles at the center.
George Halas: *awe*-Okay yeah gonna talk to him right after this.
Minne Bushing: *Awe* My word! This is beautiful! Did you all do this?
Waiter: *nods* Requested as well my lady. Please have a seat while I bring the menus.
They nodded as they went over sitting down.
George Halas: Man-Your right on the market with the beauty Mins. Perks of Chicago right here, you want a romantic scene on Valentines day's here you go.
Minne Bushing: Agree. This is gorgeous. I sure do hope he was able to pay for this...hold on how did he pay for this?
George Halas: Another question to ask him my dear.
At this the waiter returned with their menus and a bottle of vintage wine.
Waiter: *hands them the menus* Please let us know when you are ready.
George and Minne: *Smiles* Thank you.

?: So far so good. Man I gotta take the others to this place. So pretty.
He watched from afar from his spot, Happy to see all going well between the lovely couple.

George and Minne laughed as they ate and drank, enjoying the meal and the view.
Minne Bushing: You were so shocked when you and Ducth were told that the company wanted you to take over the team.
George Halas: I know! I actually had to double check with them so many times hearing this! Oh man that was a day.
The two laughed as George and Minne hands met in the center.
Minne Bushing: I will say, despite not expecting any of this, I'm having a wonderful time with you George.
George Halas: Same and always with you Mins.
The two looked on with smiles, then at the froze lake.
George Halas: So, how about we take a skate after dinner?
Minne beamed as she nodded, the two continuing their conversation.

Later...
He watched as George and Minne laughed as they skated on the ice. They were having a ball looking around the nighttime scenery. Minne went close to George as he warmly smiled at her, arm around his shoulders as they skated down the pond. Couple were around the area, skating or sitting next to eachother enjoying their presences. He saw the two go down the pond, following them closely.

George and Minne stopped, seeing a patch of clear sky as the stars glowed. Warm loving smiles were on their faces.
Minne Bushing: What a wonderful evening.
George Halas: A marvelous evening with you by my side Minne. This was a wonderful Valentine's day with you.
The two leaned on eachother, watching the sky.
...
George Halas: *Smirks* -sighs- Know your over there. So let me guess..you also got plans for our wedding when it comes right Grizzly?
Minne laughed as Grizzly fell out of his hiding place and onto the ice. He looked up, giving a nervous laugh as he blushed.
Grizzly: H-How'd you find out?
Minne Bushing: It isn't so hard to guess who our cupid is when you keep saying we should have been married by now.
Grizzly got up sighing, going over.
Grizzly: Okay, you got me. I'm the one who arranged this I mean-this day is about love and you two practically glow in it!
George Halas: *intrigued* Glow huh? Take it it's not just a complement.
Grizzly nodded as he carefully followed the two as they slowly skated.
Grizzly: Yeah; You see, when a Rusher, or some one, find their bonded we can see this glow emanating from them. Strong the glow powerful the bond is.
Minne Bushing: And-how strong is our glow?
Grizzly took a breath, making the two take pause about till-
Grizzly: Your glow is so strong it can power this city. Your bond is so strong it can take out fleets upon fleets of ships and planes at the same time. Your love is so strong heaven and earth itself praise it to the core.
Both of the blushed hearing this.
George Halas: My word that's-wow Mins. *smiling* We're basically a power couple!
Minne laughed nodding as she came close to George.
Minne Bushing: Well it's safe to say we're the perfect match with our Rusherz' approval.
Grizzly smiled hearing this-before he fell flat on his face thanks to a misstep. The two stopped as Grizzly got up with a sheepish grin.
Grizzly: MIGHT need to learn to skate if I'm working her during football season.
Both laughed as George lifted Grizzly on his shoulders, grabbing his beloved's hands as they went over.
George Halas: Oh I love you both!
Minne Bushing: Same here my dears!
Grizzly smiled at this as they went on.
George Halas: Speaking of which, how in the world did you afford this?
Grizzly: OH! I've been doing odd jobs in Canton. Me and the others started doing that recently so we have some dough, something to do during the off-season. Saved some up for today so you two can have the best date every!
Both were touched that Grizzly saved up and did this form them.
Minne Bushing: Your hard work has paid off, Thank you so much Grizzly.
Grizzly warmly smiled as the three went off into the romantic night with smiles and laughter, joyous on their future together as a trio...and for George and Minne, soon married owners of the Chicago team.
JUST WAIT TILL 1922 PEOPLE, BELLS WILL BE RINGING FOR THIS COUPLE ;).
