It's a hot day in the City of Football, and it just so happens Beast choose a good day to do a little experiment involving drinks and the others Rusherz.

A Flavorful Experiment

September 10, 1921; Canton, Ohio ...

Beast came through the door of the hotel; boxes of fruits, vegetables and drinks in his arms. All the staff in the main lobby watched the the Lion Rusher set the boxes down, before running and grabbing a table. He catious brought the table over, before running off once again to quickly come back with large bowls. He placed the fruits and vegetables in separate bowls, before grabbing some paper and writing down what each one was.

After labeling each produce, he nodded before running off again and grabbed another table. Doing the same thing as before, though this time for the drinks, he sighed nodding as he looked at the clock.

He went into his bag and took out a notepad, running to a hidden part of the room and still seeing the table.

The staff shrugged, having a feeling Beast wanted this to be private for reason as they went off to work...THOUGH, also curious as to what the lion Rusher was doing.

Pick-Ax: *walks in* -sighs- SHARDS WHAT A DAY. I swear I never thought we get that siding finished.

Pick-Ax slowly walked in, grabbing a cup from the table and taking a drink...he paused as he lowed the glass from his mouth in curiosity.

Pick-Ax: *curious* That's really refreshing. What is-

He turned back to the table waling over.

Pick-Ax: *reading* 'ICE TEA'...*smiles;licks lip* Well, will say this is what I needed after the day I had. I have to look into this drink later.

Beast beamed from the side as he wrote down the information as Grizzly came in.

Grizzly: *looks around* Pick-Ax you here?

Pick-Ax: Over here, look at this.

Grizzly interest peeked as he went over, taking a drink from the table and looking at it.

Grizzly: Wonder what this is *takes a drink*?

Grizzly eyes widen as he froze, looking at it.

Grizzly: Hey this is good. This is tea right?

Pick-Ax: Yeah. I got ice tea, looks like you grabbed something called honey tea.

Grizzly licked his lips as a smile formed on his face.

Grizzly: Liking this, really liking this. *loud* HEY GUYS OVER HERE!

The group came over from the doorway in curiosity.

Swoop: *curious* What in the world is all of this?

Pick-ax: Don't know but this is really good.

K-9: *Curious* So, someone just brought out some food and refreshments just cause. *reads one* Cinnamon tea?

K-9 took a cup and pour the drink in, placing the pitcher back on the table before taking a drink...a smile formed on his face fast.

K-9: Okay, not complaining today i was roasting outside you guys should try these drinks.

Arrow-Head: Okay yeah I do not mind partaking in this I'm dying of thirst, *grabs Herbal Tea* the memorial park today was roasting me alive out there.

Lasso: *smiles* Agree with yon that, *sees one* this pumpkin one looks really good.

Swoop: Hey you mind grabbing the one that says green tea for me when you done Lasso?

Talon: Same but with the Sweet tea.

Lasso: Got it! We can have some of the fruit here too, would be good to snack on something while we eat

They nodded as Lasso grabbed the Classic Tea, handing Spot a cup as the Jaguar went for the Hibiscus tea. Beast could BEAM as he wrote down the information fast.

...

Chief: *walks in* Ah geez, you going to be okay?

Beast looked up from his spot after a while, seeing Chief coming in and helping Fang...Beast grew worried seeing Fang had a tissue on his nose.

Fang: I'll be fine, just the weather. You know how bad I get nose bleed wise with weather like this. *removes tissue* Stopped now too.

Chief: -sighs- I hope Freefall finds something to help you stop getting these, or at least learns about it with the docs later down the line.

Fang: *warm smile* I'm sure they will find something, I have full faith.

Chief smile softy as he set Fang on a couch stoll.

Chief: I'll see if I can get you something, saw a table of drinks when we were coming in. Anything trip you?

Fang: Well, I saw two..Orange Juice and Milk, though i think the former will be good for the day.

Chief nodded as he ran to the table, Beast smiling as he watched.

Beast: *quiet* Chief i owe you one.

Chief ran back with a drink for Fang and himself, handing Fang the Orange Juice as he sat down.

Chief: Found one called Cranberry Juice, looks really good.

Fang: *smiles* Nice, thanks Chief.

The two sat down and drank, smiles growing on their faces.

Chief: Oh wow, this is really great!

Fang: Yeah, remind me to keep this in mind when we go out next.

Beast wrote down the information fast.

Peg-Leg and Sonar sighed as they walked in, Sonar going to the couch and flopping on it.

Sonar: SHARDS OF THE CORE, THIS HEAT.

Peg-Leg: I know, thank goodness you avoided getting Sunburn.

Beast ear perked up seeing Peg-Leg and Sonar sitting down, seeing the redness of their faces and the sweat falling from them. Bolt walked in, going over and checking the two over.

Bolt: You guys doing okay?

Sonar: SORE, AND HOT.

Bolt: Yeah this late summer heat it brutal.

Peg-Leg: I suppose we are going to need to get use to these extreme temps.

Bolt looked around for something, seeing the table of refreshments. Bolt ran over grabbing two drinks before running over, handing them to Peg-Leg and Sonar.

Bolt: Hope this helps.

Peg-Leg and Sonar: *small smiles* Thank you.

Both took a small drink, their eyes widening ate the taste.

Peg-Leg: Oh this is very good.

Sonar: Yeah, really good. Where did you get these?

Bolt: *eyes the table* Table of drinks were out, temperature must be bad if there's drinks out.

Sonar walked over reading the signs.

Sonar: *reading* Pear Juice and Lemonade.

Peg-Leg: Lemonade, *smiles grows* well I'm gonna need to ask for this more often.

Sonar: *smiles grows* Same here this is really good, never thought you could turn pears into a drink.

Sonar grabbed one called Fruit Punch as he walked over, sitting down along with Bolt as he handed him the cup.

Sonar: You need to drink something too, you might not be as bad as me and Peg-Leg here but you were out in the sun as much as us.

Bolt: Thanks. *takes a drink;smiles* Think I have a favorite drink too.

Beast wrote down some more, happy that this observation has not only helped him but his friends as well.

4:20 PM...

Liberty sighed as he made it inside, completely exhausted from the walk back. Soar came in next, helping Liberty to a chair. It had been a long day organizing the league with Joseph, but not as unbearable as the heat that was going on outside.

Soar: THANK, GOODNESS, it started to cool off a bit as we're heading to evening.

Liberty: I know, *slumps on chair* Oh boy what a heat wave.

Soar nodded as he slumped to, turning his head to the side.

Soar: *taps Liberty's shoulder* Hey, look at this.

Liberty sat up seeing the table, the table that was full of drinks, fruits and vegetables had dwindled throughout the day. Both got up and walked over, looking at it.

Liberty: Looks like there must of been an event going on.

?: Nope, was hear all day from what I heard.

Both turned to see Freefall coming over.

Freefall: They had this out all day, the others have been taking advantage of this given this heat wave. Lot have been going for seconds or thirds.

Soar: *curious* Really? *looks at the drinks;grabs a cup* Well, I don't mind having some. What about you Liberty?

Liberty: *Smiles;shrugs* Why not, here anyway.

Liberty grabbed a cup and got a pitcher that was labeled 'Non-Alcoholic Cider', pouring it in. Soar followed but with one labeled "Apple Juice". Both took a drink smiling.

Liberty: Okay, I can see why some would go for more than one cup this is good.

Freefall: I know, I kept on coming back to one called Seltzer Juice.

Liberty: I wonder who put this out.

Soar nodded as he looked around...then caught something BLUE.

Beast: *reading over list* So the ones who like teas are Pick-Ax, Grizzly, Steed, K-9, Arrow-Head, Lasso, Swoop, Talon, Spot, Pack, Claw, Freedom given he told me out front the other day, Pillage, Scavenger, Cyclops, and Thor. Course they have a preferred flavor so keep that in mind. Toro likes the sparkling water which is a very interesting taste. Freefall likes the Seltzer juice, Chief like the Cranberry juice, Rampage likes the Strawberry juice good to know he likes berries as well, Sonar likes the Pear juice, Stallion grape Juice, Fang does a duo favorite drink with Orange juice and Milk. *chuckles* Surprised to know Blow-Torch likes Chocolate milk guess he does a have a sweet side. Know Stampede likes Hot Chocolate, he's been having it during the cold season when we got here. *Smirks * Alto's a fancy one he is, Cafe Au Lait might need to find a city that does that drink just-

Soar: *smirking* Me and Lib like the apples drinks-

Beast: *startled;loud* AH!

BANG!

...

Soar: *worried* OH SHARDS BEAST YOU OKAY!?

Liberty and Freefall turned to see Beast, out of his hiding place, rubbing his head as Soar looked him over. The loud sound caught the attention of the others as they ran over, Freedom cautiously as he was still recovering from his illness.

Beast: *bit of pain* Ouch.

Thor: Why in the world are you hiding there?

Beast mumbled as he tried to rub the headache away, Spot looking at a notepad next to him. Fang, seeing it as well, went over and picks it up. The others looked over it as well...and slowly smiled nodding. Soar and Spot helped Beast to his feet and over to the coach, sitting down as the others followed while Pack ran to get something.

Spot: You had a interesting day did you?

Beast: *bit of pain* Y-Yeah, you all okay from the heat?

Stallion: We are, thanks to you.

Beast: *bit of pain* How did you-

Thor handed him his notebook, Beast giving a small smile in realization as he quickly wrote down Liberty's and Soar's favorite drinks.

Alto: So, little experiment of yours?

Beast: *blushes;bashful;bit of pain *Hehe yeah, was thought up when i heard Freedom liked Peppermint tea. I-I wanted to see if you guys had a preference on drinks so, if you want it I can get and/or make it for you.

Stallion: Well it looks like it has been successful, EXCEPT YOUR MISSING ONE.

Beast was confused as Pack returned with a cup, handing it to Beast. He gave a small smiled as he took a sip...his smile grew as he liked his lips.

Beast: *pain gone* Oh wow that, that's really good. I really like this taste, is that..ginger? It can't be the ginger ale though that is just as good as this.

Pack smiled as he brought out a pencil and wrote down Beast name as well as the drink.

BEAST'S DRINK- GINGER TEA/GINGER ALE.

Pack: And, now the experiment is a success.

Beast smile grew as the others sat down, talking about their day with Beast. The lion Rusher happy that his mission was a huge success.
