Sonic X (my version)
Hi, this mastershadow300 this is my version of sonic X, I don't own sonic.
my version involves more characters than the ones from the series, I hope you like it.

Choas Emerald saga,

"How to Catch a Hedgehog".

(Scene: A ranch)

Shard and Nicole (in her lynx form) are taking a walk on the farm with Shard in his organic form, still struggling with his memories.

"What happened to me?" Shard asked."

"You were captured and Roboticized," Nicole replied."

Shard suddenly feels pain in his head and falls to his knees as his memory's comeback. An image of him being in a tube of the roboticizer and Eggman activating it.

"No... please no! you can't do this!" Shard said."

Back to the present,

Nicole realized that she stirred up a painful memory. she puts her hand on his shoulder.

"Shard, I'm sorry. it wasn't my intention to make you remember something awful," Nicole said."

(puts his hand on hers making her blush) "No, if I'm to understand my new power, I must have the bad memories as well as the good ones," Shard said."

(Still blushing) "that's true, but I still must apologize," Nicole said."

"So, where are we?" Shard asked."

"We're currently on a planet called earth. Sonic, in the effort to reclaim the chaos emeralds from Dr, Eggman, accidently triggered chaos control and we were teleported here. it seems that effect of the warp, amplified by your metallic body and damaged parts of your memory," Nicole replied."

"Make sense," Shard said."

"Eggman may have forgotten about you, but I doubt that will last long," Nicole said."

"So, I have to stay out of site for now?" Shard asked."

"Yes, if Eggman finds you, I have no doubt he'll say things to mess with your head," Nicole replied."

"Knowing you, you're right," Shard said."

"Even if this world and our own gives up on you, know that I won't," Nicole said." And Queen Aleena can use her heal powers to heal your memories."

"Thank you, Nicole," Shard said."

Unknown to them, a mantis-like badnik was spying on them and sending info back to Eggman.

"Hmm, it seems I've forgotten that particular Mobian. (Smirks) from the looks of it his memories are still missing. which makes it ripe for molding," Eggman said."

"Excellent sir," Snively said."

"It was a good thing I noticed that Mobian," Eggette said."

Eggman pulls out a small radio transmitter from a drawer.

"Now, to put my plan into action. this device plays noises at frequencies only robots can hear. regular robots get more aggressive, but partially roboticized makes them hear less comforting words as they try in vain to block it out," Eggman explained."

"The darkness in your schemes know no bounds, daddy," Eggette said."

"And thanks to E-06, I know where to look," Eggman said."

"Very good, sir," Snively said."

"And for good measure, I'll sent out E-88 lightning bird," Eggman said." by the way Snively, did you install that over capacitor into E-88?"

"Of course, sir," Snively replied."

"Excellent," Eggman said."

Meanwhile at the farm,

Sonic and Sally caught up with Shard and Nicole.

"Hey guys, what's up?" Sonic asked."

"Helping Shard regain some memories," Nicole replied."

"Any progress?" Sally asked."

"Unfortunately, the one I stirred up was an unpleasant one," Nicole replied."

Shard sees E-06 sneak up and preparing to attack.

"Look out!" Shard said."

E-06 throws two of its arm blade at the group, but they dodged them.

"Thanks for the warning Shard, and this eggbot sure is ugly," Sonic said."

"How dare you! you will pay for insulting E-06 Mantis reaper!" Mantis said."

Mantis reaper's arm blades begin vibrating.

"What's happening?" Nicole asked."

Mantis reaper manages to grab Shard.

"Ah!" Shard said."

"Now, time to return you to Eggman," Mantis reaper said."

"I don't think so," Shard said."

Shard suddenly did a spin dash and get Mantis reaper off him. he crosses his arms in front of him activating his transformation.

"Switch on!" Shard said."

He turns into his robot form.

Cyber... end!" Shard said."

His hands glowed with electricity as he slices Mantis reaper in half and explode.

"Still impressive," Sally said."

"Yeah, but it felt too easy," Sonic said."

"I agree with Sonic, Shard's power type abilities before being roboticized, those abilities are now amplified. another is that this robot was poorly made," Nicole said."

"Either way, I'm glad that thing was destroyed before it showed what it was capable of," Sally said."

Suddenly Eggman and an ostrich-like robot arrived.

"Hello rodents, meet E-88 lightning bird!" Eggman said."

E-88 Lightning Bird. Lightning Bird thunders towards Sonic, Sally, Nicole, and Shard, then flashes a blinding light at them.

"Let me go!" Shard said."

As soon as Sonic, Sally, and Nicole are able to see again, they see that Shard has been captured by Lightning Bird which is flying back to Eggman.

"Now, my lieutenant! time to head back!" Eggman said."

Shard was shocked at this.

"I'm not your lieutenant!" Shard yelled."

"That's the same thing an old hedgehog said," Eggman said." (remembering) ah, that must've been your grandfather before I had you get rid of him."

Shard grows disheartened.

"No... no, grandfather, I couldn't...!" Shard said."

"Don't listen to him Shard!" Sally said."

"Yeah, you're one of us a freedom fighter," Sonic said."

"Bring him back!" Nicole said."

Eggman laughs.

"If you want him, come save him!" Eggman said." if he wants you to save him."

Shard was looking down.

Eggman and Lightning Bird fly away.

(The opening theme plays)

As the villains disappear with Shard, the X-Tornado arrives.

"Sonic, here comes the ring!" Tails said."

"Okay!" Sonic said."

The X-Tornado fires a Power Ring to Sonic and Sally as her speed kicks in, they both catch it.

"Got it!" Sonic and Sally said."

Using the power of the ring, Sonic and Sally leaps up and smashes Lightning Bird with a headbutt, causing him to drop Shard. Unknown to them, a tiny chip falls out of Lightning Bird and lands in Sonic's ear. they reach the same altitude as Eggman. They kick the Eggmobile away, Shard reverts to his organic form, uses his fly-type abilities to bring Sonic and Sally down safely.

"Thanks, shard. I knew you had it in you," Sonic said."

On the ground, Shard felt very conflicted.

"I don't understand, I'm partially roboticized and Eggman says I work for him and got rid of my grandfather, yet I saved you and Sally," Shard said."

"Shard, listen. Eggman will say a lot of things to make you doubt yourself. its best to ignore him," Sally said." Besides, once you meet queen Aleena, she'll help heal you right Sonic?"

She looks over at Sonic, who is digging in his ear.

"Have you been listening?" Nicole asked."

"Huh? Sorry. I got something stuck in my ear," Sonic replied." He gently hits the other side of his head, but that causes the chip to fall in deeper.

"Here, I'll try to get it out," Sally said."

She looks into Sonic's right ear, but can't see anything.

"Must be deep," Sally said."

(Scene Change: Thorndyke Mansion - Driveway.)

Mister Tanaka is cleaning the car, Sally is still trying to find the foreign objective in Sonic's ear despite the minimal success. Inside Aleena used her heal powers and restored Shard's memories.

Chris, Hope, and Tails approach.

"What's going on?" Chris asked."

"Sonic has something in his ear. I'm trying to get it out, but no luck," Sally replied."

"Can we help?" Tails asked."

"Thanks all the same, but I think I can manage," Sally replied."

Tanaka presses a button, which inadvertently triggers something in the chip. An LED light begins flashing on it. Sonic lets out a shriek, then leaps off the roof and runs away.

"That's not good," Hope said."

"This is a stressful situation," Chris said."

"If Eggman's is responsible, it'll give me more reasons to hate him," Sally said."

"let's follow him in the X-tornado," Chris said."

Tails nods in agreement.

(Scene Change: Station Square)

Sonic is running on the road and avoiding the traffic.

"I don't get it! I can't stop my feet!" Sonic said."

A car begins to skid.

"Heheh, sorry!" Sonic said."

He then passes the Chaotix.

"Whoa, Sonic's in a hurry!" Vector said."

"Something seemed... off. Sonic didn't look like he was in control," Espio said."

"We better follow him and see what's going on," Charmy said."

"Good idea," Vector said."

Meanwhile at Frances house,

Nicky is running from Amy, Tania, Tiara, and Tangle after accidently ruining the kitchen and poising Frances and her family from making a pie he made.

(wielding her hammer) "you're going to pay for ruining that pie and the kitchen, Nicky!" Amy yelled."

"Oh come on, hasn't anyone messed up on their first-time cooking?" Nicky asked." I guess should've payed attention to my surroundings."

"True, but Ella didn't teach us to blow up the kitchen!" Tania replied."

"Or poison our friends!" Tangle said."

"Frances and her parents are still in pain," Tangle said."

Nicky and Amy see Sonic running towards them.

"Sonic help!" Nicky said."

Amy catches him by his sweater.

"Gotcha! (notices Sonic running towards her and Nicky) Oh Sonic," Amy said."

"Get out of the way, I can't stop my legs," Sonic said."

Seeing that they won't get out of the way in time Nicky grabs Amy and to vibrate himself and Amy. Sonic runs through them and they revert back to normal.

"How did you do that?" Amy asked."

"I started to develop this ability when I first touched a chaos emerald," Nicky replied." My grandmother helped me master it."

"That sounds pretty cool," Amy said."

"But let's get Tania and the others and figure out what's going on with Sonic," Nicky said."

Further down the road, Sam Speed is speaking to a criminal with a mohawk.

"Listen, punk, your car may be cool, but if you don't wear seat belts, you're a fool," Sam said."

Sonic races by.

"Huh? That was Sonic! (To the criminal) Thanks to him, you're not gettin' a ticket today! Now go get a haircut!" Sam said."

He pushes the criminal aside, runs to his car, and hops in.

"I gotcha now, Sonic!" Sam said."

He revs the motor and speeds off after Sonic, weaving through traffic as he does so.

(On Radio) "This is S-Team leader to base. In hot pursuit of high-speed hedgehog going south on Broad Street. Over," Sam said."

"I can't stop!" Sonic said."

(Scene Change: X-Tornado)

Tails, Sally, Hope, and Chris are in hot pursuit of Sonic.

"There's Uncle Sam," Chris said."

"Looks like he's trying to catch up with Sonic," Tails said."

"I'm gonna radio him. (On radio) Hey Uncle Sam, this is Chris," Chris said."

(Over radio) "When you're on this frequency, it's S-Team Leader, got it? Besides, I can't chit-chat right now; I'm on a mission," Sam said."

"Oh brother," Hope said."

(On radio) "Sorry, but I need to talk to you about Sonic," Chris said."

(Over radio) "If you're calling to ask me to take it easy on him, forget it!" Sam said."

(On radio) "But he's acting really strange today. We're worried that there might be something really wrong with him," Chris said."

(Over radio) "There must be if he thinks he can beat me. Hahahahaha!" Sam said."

He increases his speed.

"He acts weirder than Sonic," Chris said."

"Wasn't he always weird?" Tails asked."

(Scene Change: Station Square)

Sam catches up to Sonic.

"I got him now," Sam said."

Sonic involuntarily increases his speed.

"What's going on?!" Sonic asked."

"All right...," Sam said."

He guns the motor, but slows down instead.

"Huh? Out of gas!" Sam said."

His car slows to a stop in the middle of the road.

"That little hedgehog may have outrun me this time, but there's always next time. I'll get him," Sam said."

Sonic shrugs. He runs past a newspaper stand, blowing over most of the papers. He then dodges an incoming bus.

"Oops!" Sonic said."

He enters the subway runs down and escalator and onto the tracks. He narrowly avoids two trains. He runs along the top of the second train, then leaps off of it once he reaches the other side.

"I hope there's a light at the end of this thing!" Sonic said."

Above ground, the X-Tornado circles once as Sonic leaves the subway.

"There he is," Chris said."

"He's heading for the desert," Tails said."

Meanwhile at the Thorndyke mansion, after having his memories restored and healed by Aleena Shard is looking over Sonic's battle with lightning bird, which he recorded in his Robian form.

"Okay, things seem normal so far," Shard said."

When playing the footage, he notices a piece of the robot entering Sonic's ear. he then pauses the video and zooms in and enhances that piece.

"Hmm...," Shard said."

The object looks like a microchip. he decides to report this Hope.

"Shard to Hope. do you read me?" Shard asked."

"I read you," Hope replied." What's going on?"

"I've looked over the battle and discovered something. the piece that landed in Sonic's ear resembles a microchip," Shard replied."

"Understood. Tails take us back home," Hope said."

"On it," Tails said."

In the entertainment room, the residents of the Thorndyke mansion are gathered and looking at the footage displayed on Shard's Robian visor.

"Hmm...," Chuck said."

"Looks like Sonic has an overcapacitor in his ear," Hope said." this microchip enhances the performance and power of whatever machine its installed in."

"But, why did it work in Sonic's ear? he's not a machine," Chris said."

"It has pongs, which transmits energy from the device's power gem into anything it comes into contact with," Hope replied."

"So, how do we get it out?" Tails asked."

"We have to deactivate it first, but the only way to do that is to keep him standing still," Hope replied."

"That will be difficult," Manic said."

"Unless we freeze his legs," Cyrus said."

"Are the power gems the same as the chaos emeralds?" Chris asked."

"Similar but not as powerful as the emeralds," Hope replied."

Sonic through the desert. he passes three Mobians. One being a green canary, one being a Mobian rabbit with a staff, a cybernik, a beetle with a jewel like back, and a puppet robot.

"What was that?" The Canary girl asked."

"I think that was Sonic," the Mobian Rabbit replied."

"Why was he running?" the Cybernik asked."

"He must be in a hurry," The beetle girl replied."

"Maybe, we should ask him," the puppet robot replied."

"On it," The Cybernik said as he flies towards Sonic."

He catches up to Sonic.

"Yo Sonic, What's the hurry?" the Cybernik asked."

"Hey Shortfuse, I'm having a problem with my legs," Sonic replied."

He suddenly starts to speed up and disappears. Shortfuse stops.

"Better let the others know," Shortfuse said as he flies back to the others."

(Scene Change: The Egg Fort II)

"Doctor, here is something I think you will enjoy," Scratch said."

A screen activates, showing Sonic running across the desert.

"Hehehe... Well, well... Looks like Sonic is working up quite a sweat!" Eggman said."

"Perhaps you might want to do the same, Doctor. You have been getting a bit round around the waist lately," Grounder said."

"What?! Cut the wisecracks or I'll "waste" you, you imputent trash can!" Eggman said."

He turns back to the screen.

"Sonic must be up to something, but what could it be?" Eggman said."

(Scene Change: The desert)

Sonic is wide awake and still running.

"Almost there! Almost there! Where am I going anyway?!" Sonic asked."

(Scene Change: The Egg Fort II)

Eggman, Snively, Eggette, Scratch, Grounder, Bocoe, and Decoe are asleep.

(Scene Change: The mission room, next day)

Chuck has set up a mission room in the desert. The Thorndyke's, Sonic's and Family friends are gathered there. they also meet up with the Mobians Sonic passed at a campsite.

"Hey, look at this," Manic said."

At that moment, the Mobians wake up.

(yawns) "Morning already," the Canary said."

"Techno, is that you?" Amy asked."

"Amy!" Techno replied."

"Jewel!" Tangle said."

The four hug each other.

"Are they friends of yours?" Chris asked."

Yup, these are our friends Techno the Canary, Shortfuse the cybernik, Jhonny Lightfoot, Jewel the beetle, and Belle the tinkerer," Tails replied."

"what's a cybernik?" Chris asked."

"I was one of Eggman's test subjects to fight Sonic, but I use it to fight back against him," Shortfuze replied as he takes off his cyborg helmet."

"So, in a way, your kind of like Bunnie," Chris said."

"Yup," Shortfuse said."

"Techno, is good with tech just as much as Rotor, Renee, Cyrus, Tails, and both Chucks," Amy said."

"Jewel and I are childhood friends," Tangle said."

"I see why you're called Jewel, it's because of your shell," Ella said."

Jewel blushes from the comment.

"Belle is a relative," Hope said."

"You mean?" Chris asked."

"Yup, Eggman found some weird gem that split him in two where his counterpart was kind and loving. He created Belle as his little helper, but then Eggman got rid of him," Hope replied." he even called himself Mr. tinker."

"After what Eggman did, I discovered that I had a brother from Hope after finding out about her. After meeting him, we both were busy destroying Eggman's E-series robots when a huge light appeared, I've been separated from him ever since," Belle said."

"Whoa," Chris said."

"Hate to ruin the reunions, but my brother's still running out of control!" Sonia said."

"Sorry," Chris said."

Everyone gathers around Chuck.

"With the help of Tails, Hope, Rotor, Renee, Ben, Charles, and Cyrus, I have devised a plan that I believe will work. It's actually quite simple. Step one: we locate Sonic from the X-Tornado. Step two: we launch a specially designed bubble bomb which will hold him securely and lift him off the ground," Chuck said."

A diagram shows the X-Tornado firing a balloon bomb at Sonic that, upon impact, forms a balloon that carries Sonic into the air.

"And once Sonic is off his feet, we can get that microchip out of his ear!" Charles said."

Everyone fists pumps.

(Scene Change: The desert)

The X-Tornado flies directly above Sonic.

"I've got company!" Sonic said."

(On radio) "Target spotted, Chuck," Sally said."

(Over radio) "Roger. Stay alert. Don't let him out of your sight," Chuck said."

(On radio) "I never do," Sally said."

(Scene Change: The mission room)

Chuck is watching the radar as the Chaotix arrived.

"We saw what happened yesterday and we're here to help," Vector said."

"We appreciate that. Catching Sonic is no picnic, nobody knows that better than Eggman. We'll need all the help we can get," Jules said."

"We'll do what we can, your majesty," Charmy said."

"No need for that, we're all equals here," Jules said."

"Got it," Charmy said."

"Get ready," Chuck said."

(Scene Change: The desert)

Sonic's communicator beeps.

(through the communicator) "Sonic, we figured out what's wrong with you," Sally said."

"What is it?" Sonic asked."

"You've got an overcapacitor in your ear," Sally replied."

"That explains what's going on," Sonic said."

"We're working in unison with Techno's group and the Chaotix to catch you and get it out," Sally said."

"Couldn't Dulcy hold me back?" Sonic asked."

"She's watching the mansion," Sally replied as she pulls out a bazooka."

Sally has prepared a bazooka ready to fire the bomb.

(Over radio) "Fire!" Chuck said."

Sally fires the bazooka, and the bomb flies down and hits Sonic's back.

"Yeow!" Sonic said."

Sonic slows to a stop in front of the mission room as the balloon begins to inflate.

"It really worked!" Sally said."

"Look guys, I'm flying!" Sonic said."

"Now we just have to figure out how to deactivate the Overcapacitor and get it out of Sonic's ear," Hope said."

"Have we tried holding him upside down and shake it lose?" Mighty asked."

"That could work," Shortfuse replied."

"That sounds easier said than done," Rotor said."

But the balloon floats too high, and he begins to drift away.

"Hey, get me down! I'm floating away!" Sonic yelled."

"Perhaps I used too much helium," Chuck said."

(Deadpan) "What was your first clue?" Isabelle asked."

(Deadpan) "And you forgot to account for prevailing winds," Monica said."

Sonic begins to float over a fast-moving river.

"Aaaahhhh! Help me! Somebody get this thing off of me!" Sonic yelled."

Knuckles and Julie-Su is watching from a nearby rock.

"What now?" Knuckles asked."

"Is that a bubble on Sonic's back?" Julie-Su asked."

"Hey! Knuckles! Julie-su! Help me! Help me!" Sonic yelled out."

Julie-Su aims her pistol and fires at the balloon, causing it to burst. Sonic lands in the water but immediately begins running on the surface of the water towards Knuckles and Julie-Su. He deposits a fish in Knuckles' hands as he runs by.

"What the...?" Knuckles asked."

"That was weird," Julie-Su said." And he got us dinner."

He looks down at the fish in his hands.

(Scene Change: The mission room)

"Now what do we do?" Tanaka asked."

"Do you think he'll come back?" Chris asked."

"I'm worried...," Cream said."

"Me too," Tania said."

"There has to be another way," Bernadette said."

"Just too much helium," Chuck said."

Knuckles and Julie-Su approaches, holding the still-wriggling fish.

"Well, Sonic just tried to run us over," Knuckles said."

"He's not in control. he's got an overcapacitor in his ear," Hope said."

"That explains a lot. though, the bubble was confusing," Julie-Su said."

"We used it to stop Sonic," Sally said."

"You realize that you HAVE a dragon, why not use her?" Julie-Su asked."

"She's holding down the fort at the mansion right now," Sally said."

Ella holds up the stew.

"Okay, let's all calm down, I'd bet you could come up with a new way to help Sonic after you've had a nice hot lunch," Ella said."

(Scene Change: The desert)

Everyone is sitting on a picnic blanket, eating the stew that Ella made.

"I bet poor Sonic must be starving by now," Amy said."

"I'm sure he's fine, Amy," Charles said."

"Hmmm," Shard said as he's thinking of a plan.

"What's the next plan?" Hope asked."

"We could have Tiara use her staff to freeze Sonic's legs," Manic replied."

"That can work," Tiara said." except, I left my staff at Frances's house.

A tumbleweed envelopes Tails and carries him away.

"That game looks like a lot of fun, Tails," Maisy said."

"Do I look like I'm playing a game?" Tails asked."

"I got him," Morain said as she uses her sword to cut the tumbleweed.

(Stands up in excitement) "That's it!" Charles said."

A diagram displays his next plan.

"Knuckles and Mighty will wait at the top of a hill with a specially engineered wheel trap. As Sonic approaches, we'll give the signal, and Knuckles and Mighty will roll the wheel down the hill, trapping Sonic inside. He'll be like a hamster in a cage!" Charles said."

Everyone fists pumps. Sonic is running through the desert. An arrow directs him to turn left, which he does. A second arrow points right, and he follows it as well. Meanwhile, Sally is working in Ella's portable kitchen.

"Very good Sally," Ella said."

"Thanks, he'll be hungry from running around that long. this chili dog should help with that," Sally said." Since Sam ruined the first one I made for him during his race."

"That's very sweet," Ella said."

"I'll help too, Sally. I practiced on the cruise making regular hot dogs for Nicky," Amy said."

"Ok Amy. it'll help Sonic," Sally said."

"I'll help too (sees Amy's glare) on second thought, I'll just sit here," Nicky said."

"Uh, did something happen?" Jewel asked."

"Let's just say, Nicky isn't allowed in the kitchen anymore," Tangle replied."

"All right, Tanaka, he's almost in position," Chuck said."

"Right," Tanaka said."

Sonic gradually approaches the mountain.

"Roll it!" Charles said."

Tanaka signals to Knuckles and Mighty with two flags. The echidna and Armadillo pushes the cage down the mountain. The moment it reaches Sonic, Charles presses a button that locks the cage in place, and Sonic within the cage. As the cage resembles a hamster wheel, he is now running on the wheel.

"Got him," Matilda said."

"Hey Grandpa, it works!" Chris said."

"Of course, it does," Chuck said."

A tray extends out of the cage. it contains a chili dog and a glass of water.

"I thought you might be hungry after all this running," Sally said."

"You made this chili dog Sally?" Sonic asked."

"Yup, and I had some help," Sally replied." and it's to replace the one you didn't have a chance to eat the other one during your race with Sam."

Sonic takes a bite of the chili dog.

"It's really tasty. no disrespect uncle Chuck, but I think you got some competition," he said."

"I'm not all that competitive sonny," Charles said."

"I didn't know you made chili dogs Charles," Chris said."

"Well, you never asked," Charles said." Plus, the chili is a family recipe."

Jules nods in agreement.

Moments later after he finished the chilidog, Sonic yawns.

"He looks like he's falling asleep!" Sally said."

"That's good. If he falls asleep, he'll have to stop running," Jules said."

"Maybe I can help, Sonic! Want me to sing you a lullaby?" Tania asked."

"No, thank you, Tania," Sonic replied a little embarrassed."

(Scene Change: The Egg Fort II)

"That looks like fun! Exercising, I mean. I'm going to start!" Eggman said."

"You should!" Bocoe and Decoe said."

"Definitely," Snively said."

"Tomorrow," Eggman said."

He begins eating.

"Oh, Dr. Eggman, tomorrow never comes!" Bocoe and Decoe said."

"No doubt," Coconuts said."

(Scene Change: The desert)

Sonic is still running inside the wheel.

"Looks like Sonic's nap isn't slowing him down at all. He's going even faster," Vector said."

"I've never seen anything like it. His energy is positively boundless," Chuck said."

"Sonic has more power than my food processor," Ella said."

"He sure does, and I should know because I raised him," Charles said."

"That, and the overcapacitor has control of his muscle memory," Hope said."

"Sonic, that wheel wasn't built to withstand this intensity! Chuck said."

Strain starts to build on the wheel.

"Knuckles, look out!" Tails yelled."

Suddenly the wheel breaks loose from its frame and rolls towards Knuckles, flattening him. Then the wheel falls on its side. With Sonic still running on the wheel, it begins to drill through the earth. Everyone looks in the resulting hole.

"Welp, that didn't work," Vector said."

"Might have calculated how much speed Sonic gives off," Espio said."

"Does anyone else hear rushing water?" Hope asked."

"Ah hear it, too!" Bunnie replied."

"Same here," Jhonny said."

"Me too," Cream said."

"Run!" Chuck said."

Just then a wall of water pushes Sonic out of the hole.

"Well, that was a washout," Chuck said."

Bernadette smacks Chuck in the back of his head.

"Sorry," Chuck said."

(Scene Change: The mission room, sunset)

"This is harder than we thought. Now we know how Eggman felt trying to catch Sonic," Tails said."

"So far your plans haven't worked, have they?" Amy asked."

(Arms crossed) "Not quite, but I'm confident that if we just keep trying, we'll eventually come up with a plan that will work," Chuck replied."

He glances at Ella, who is applying cream to the injured Knuckles' back.

"I've got it!" Chuck said."

The others look at him in disbelief.

"In fact, it's the best plan I've had all day. We just need a little help from two friends. Mm-hm," Chuck said."

He nods for emphasis. That night, Sonic is sleeping while running through the desert.

(Scene Change: The Egg Fort II)

"Sonic is running himself ragged. He must feel as worn out as an old sneaker. This would be a perfect time to launch a sneak attack against him! Ready?" Eggman asked."

(Nod) "Aye-aye!" Scratch and Grounder replied."

"I'll destroy him right after my nap," Eggman said."

The lights dim.

"Please, Doctor!" Scratch said."

"Now is not the time for snoozing!" Grounder said."

"Quiet! we need our beauty sleep so we can look good destroying Sonic," Eggette said."

(Scene Change: The mission room, morning)

Chuck looks at his watch.

"Right on time," Chuck said."

Just then Sam Speed rolls into the desert, parking right in front of the others. He climbs out of his car. Dulcy comes flying in and lands Infront of the group.

"I would've been here sooner, but I stopped for donuts," Sam said."

"I appreciate you coming to help us out, Sam," Chuck said."

"You can always count on the Speed King to put the rubber to the road when a friend needs help," Sam said."

"Chuck already informed me of what's going on," Dulcy said."

(Nods) "Well then, let me bring you up to date on our plan," Chuck said."

The diagram to Chuck's next plan is shown.

"Now we all know Sonic has quite a competitive streak, just like you do, Sam," Chuck said."

"It's Speed King, Chuck," Sam said."

"Sorry. Speed King. The plan is to have Speed King challenge Sonic to a test of speed. But unbeknownst to Sonic, a trap will be set at the end of the finish line. Speed King will get on Sonic's right side in lane two. Sonic will be forced to race in lane one beside him, and that will lead him straight into our trap. Then Sonic will be out of the running!" Chuck said."

The diagram shows Sonic stuck in mega muck behind the first panel.

"What's is that stuff?" Chris asked."

"It's mega muck, an artificial liquid created by Eggman. part petroleum, part quicksand, and part clay mud. it's very sticky," Charles replied."

"Can that stuff really hold Sonic?" Ben asked."

"Oh, it'll definitely hold Sonic. it would take dragon strength to get him out," Charles replied."

"If it'll save Sonic, I'm willing to try," Sally said."

"Now let's get ready for the race, shall we?" Sam asked."

Everyone fists pumps. With the plan underway, the X-Tornado with Tails, Hope, and Sally is tailing Sonic. Sally has a radio with her.

(On radio) "Stand by. He's almost there," Sally said."

Sam is sitting in his car, waiting for his cue.

"Roger. I'm ready," Sam said."

(Over radio)" Go!" Sally said."

Sam takes off, and soon Sonic is running alongside him. Sonic stumbles over a stone and falls behind.

"What's the matter, slowpoke? Can't you do better than that?" Sam asked."

Sonic tries to pass Sam, but the latter cuts him off.

(On radio) "What are you doing? This isn't supposed to be a real race! You're supposed to be a decoy!" Hope said."

(Over radio) "Guess again, sweetheart. He beat me once. It's not gonna happen twice," Sam said."

Sally facepalms while Sam pulls ahead of Sonic once again.

"Oh yeah?" Sonic asked."

(Scene Change: The mission room)

Chuck is listening to the transmission.

"They're getting close to the finish," Chuck said."

(Over radio) "Remember, Speed King, whatever you do, keep Sonic in the right lane!" Hope said."

(Over radio) "Right Lane? I thought I'm in the right lane!" Sam said."

(Scene Change: Desert)

(On radio) "That's right! Just stay in lane two. Remember, you're number two. Number two!" Hope said."

(On radio) "Not me, sister! I'm number one! Hahaha!" Sam said."

He drives through the number one panel and gets stuck in the mega muck while Sonic runs through the number two panel and starts running in circles.

"That didn't work out too well," Sally said."

Hope rubs her temples, visibly annoyed.

"Just ONE job. (calls the others) guys, Sam messed up the plan, can Dulcy come pick him and his car up," Hope said." Also Chris, can you remind me to smack your uncle's empty head?"

(Feeling a little scared) "Uh, sure," Chris replied."

As Dulcy fly's and pulls Sam's car out of the mega muck Tails sees something on the radar.

(On radio) "Hey Chuck, I'm picking up something weird on my scopes. Do you see it down there too?" Tails asked."

(Over radio) "Yes, I've noticed it myself, Tails," Chuck said."

(On radio) "I recorded the wave patterns. Maybe you can analyze and figure out what it is," Tails said."

(Scene: The mission room)

"From what I can gather, it's some kind of strange magnetic force field. It appears to be emanating from that ranch up ahead," Chuck said."

(Scene: The ranch)

A newly repaired Lightning Bird is being pursued by a cow as the X-Tornado arrives.

"Ready up there, Tails?" Sally asked."

"I'm ready when you are!" Tails replied." Got your EMP, Hope?"

"Hope yup," Hope replied."

They locate Lightning Bird.

"Okay, Tails. Keep it as steady as you can," Sally said."

Lightning bird sees the X-tornado coming and jumps up and fires a beam at the X-tornado as Hope quickly fires her EMP, immobilizing Lightning bird. While being immobile, Sonic runs in and head butts it. As he does so, the overcapacitor falls out of his ear and Lightning bird explodes. Sonic runs into a haystack as Sally jumps out of the X-tornado's wing.

"Sonic!" Sally said."

She leaps off the X-Tornado's wing and into the haystack. They both surface.

"Are you ok?" Sally asked."

"I think so," Sonic replied." (he realized that he's not running anymore) Hey, I have control of my legs again."

"Looks like when you head butted that robot it was just enough force to get the overcapacitor out of your ear," Sally said." good thing too, everyone was worried."

Sally notices Sonic digging in his ear again.

"Now what's the matter?" Sally asked."

"Something's in my ear again," Sonic replied."

"Hold still," Sally said."

She blows some straw out of Sonic's ear.

"Better?" Sally asked."

"Yeah, that feels much better. Thanks," Sonic said."

Sonic lies back, and he and Sally enjoy each other's company.

"We should get back to the others," Sally said."

"Yeah, but can Tails give us a lift, after all that running around my legs deserve a nice long rest," sonic said."

Back with the others, Hope had informed everyone that the overcapacitor is out of Sonic's ear.

"that's good to hear," Bernadette said."

"Hey Ella, can you help me with Frances and her family?" Nicky asked."

"of course, Amy already informed me about what happened," Ella replied."

Nicky sighs in relief.

"By the way Belle, what's your brother's name?" Chris asked."

(feeling nervous) "Oh um, he goes by RJ," Belle replied."

"RJ?" Chris asked."

"Yup," Belle replied."

"I like to study your cybernik robot suit if you don't mind," Chuck said."

"Sure, I know you're trustworthy," Shortfuse said as he gets out of his cybernik suit."

The X-tornado lands with Sonic resting on the wing. Hope gets out and walks up to Sam and smacks him in the back of his head.

"Ow, what was that for?" Sam asked."

"That was for ignoring the plan," Hope replied."

"Oh guys, Nicky can vibrate himself," Amy said."

"What?!" Everyone said."

Nicky chuckles and rubs the back of his head.

The episode ends.

Hope you guys like it. We've learned that Nicky can't cook, but he has the power to vibrate himself to go through things.
