Professor Naberius had been bothered by Alice about Iruma and got dragged into a musical by the Valac family. Not to mention the sheer number of Valacs he would have the misfortune of teaching one day was distressing. Challenged to a sword fight, his pocket had to be protected from attempted theft, a very forceful marriage proposal, dinner with a family of degenerates, and other petty tournaments.

Now the worst and last the home of Iruma, Chairdemon, and Opera. Iruma answered the door with a bright smile.

"Welcome to my home Proffessor Naberius!"

Professor Naberius lifted Iruma in the air with ease.

"Whoa!" Iruma called out, memories of the last time a teacher grabbed him rushing through his mind.

Lord Sullivan, Opera, and Professor Balam ran into the foyer.

"What's going on?!"

"Kalego?!"

"Shichiro?!"

"Put him down"

Professor Naberius set Iruma down after Opera firmly ordered. However, he stayed close to the boy, hoping to put distance between him and the menacing cat who was advancing with a grin.

"Stay away!" Professor Naberius shouted.

"I can't stay away from you, we can't make new sweet memories if we're apart," said Opera who slipped between Iruma and Professor Naberius.

"How do you know each other?" Irumavasked as the adults ran circles around him.

"Schoolmates. Kalego and Shichiro were my juniors," Opera explained. They lunged for Professor Naberius and missed by a fraction of an inch.

"Let's just get this over with!" Professor Naberius tried to demand. He turned back to his friend "I still don't understand what you're doing here, Shichiro,"

Professor Balam fidgeted with his hands, not making eye contact with anyone. "I told you I volunteered"

"You don't tell me you volunteered for this family!" Professor Naberius was nearly hopping mad.

Opera took advantage of the chaos by putting on a summoning seal on Iruma's hand and raising his arm to activate summoning magic.

"Undo this!"

Opera smiled and grabbed hold of the fluffy familiar. "I deserve to spend time with you,"

"Unhand me! Unhand me you demented feind!"

Professor Balam gasped and, without thinking stole Professor Naberius from Opera. "Oh, I knew you're young Iruma's familiar but" Professor Balam hugged his friend in fluffy form close his his chest.

For just a few seconds, Professor Naberius did not struggle, for just a second, he leaned into the hug.

Quick as a flash, Opera took several pictures.

"Please don't overdo it Opera," pleaded Professor Balam.

Iruma undid the spell Professor Naberius returned to his original form.

"Please, let's have tea and talk things over," said Lord Sullivan.

"This way," Iruma said leading to the parlor.

Professor Naberius kept shooting Opera glances every few steps as he followed Iruma.

Lord Sullivan whispered to Opera "I want a copy of the best one framed"

Opera had a tiny grin "As you wish sir," they said with that, they plastered a neutral facial expression. They set to work on tea and snacks.

Once seated Professor Balam cleared his throat "I'm primarily here to apologize to Iruma. I thought there was a problem and I panicked. I should have done everything differently. I humiliated you" he took off his mask. "I too have scars and I hid my face yet, I put your scars on display. My overreaction caused you pain, and I'm deeply sorry about it,"

Iruma had a sheepish smile "I forgive you, no hard feelings. And I really enjoy your books. I wanted to tell you that sooner, I was looking forward to meeting you," He hoped he wasn't staring too much.

Professor Balam's eyes widened, and a lopsided smile formed, displaying his fangs. "How nice of you to say that! I don't get compliments on my books!"

"They are fantastic; I've learned so much. If every subject had books like yours I'd be doing so much better!" Iruma gushed.

Professor Naberius was silently fuming, tapping his finger as his arms were crossed. He dared not be rude or hostile as Opera was rolling in a cart.

"What a good teacher you are Shichiro," praised Opera.

Professor Balam was glowing with a slight blush. "Thank you!"

Lord Sullivan watched everything unfold from the head of the table, chin in his palms, elbows on the table.

Opera severed their oldest master tea, the young master, then Professor Balam, leaving Professor Naberius last. Then they set a place for themselves. Tea, cake, and directly across from Professor Professor Naberius.

Professor Naberius cursed Opera mentally before clearing his throat and launching into the speech he prepared. At the end of the carefully laid out compilation of achievements, wrongdoings, strengths, and weaknesses, Lord Sullivan plucked it from his hands.

"Wait! Give that back old man! This is what I hate about you!"

Lord Sullivan looked things over for himself. He nodded approvingly occasionally. "It's reassuring to have Kalego as your homeroom teacher Iruma," He said watching his darling child sip tea.

"I think so too! I can't imagine anyone else," Iruma said before helping himself to another slice of cake.

"He's ssssoooo cute!" Lord Sullivan said swooning in his seat.

"Give that back!" Professor Naberius demanded as he slamned his hands on the table. The items nearest him rattled.

"You have some nerve to yell at Lord Sullivan at all, and to yell at him in his own home. You're setting a bad example for young master Iruma. What am I going to do to you?" Opera mussed to themselves.

Professor Naberius bolted to his feet. "May I be excused, sir?!"

Lord Sullivan chuckled "You may,"

Professor Naberius wasted no time running for his life and took fight once out of the home.

"May, I be excused?" Opera asked ears twitching frantically.

Lord Sullivan held up a hand "Five minutes Opera"

Opera's face was neutral but their tail showed just how thrilled they were "Yes sir, thank you, sir" they were in hot pursuit.

"Shichiro, will you be staying the night?" Lord Sullivan offered.

"Oh!" said Professor Balam caught off guard by the attention suddenly turning to him. "Y-Yes, I would love to,"

"Splendid! Opera will make the arrangements when they return" Lord Sullivan said as he turned his attention to Iruma "Get ready for bed, it's important to keep your sleep schedule normal even on the break"

"Okay, I will," Iruma said as he drained his teacup. "Goodnight Professor Balam!" he went to his grandfather for a hug "Goodnight Grandpa!"

Iruma was pulled onto his grandfather's lap and tightly held. "Goodnight my boy,"

Lord Sullivan wanted to carry his grandson to bed. It would be so cute, but there was much to talk about with Shichiro and if he tucked Iruma into bed he would not be able to refocus.
