Bunker Buster
After the destruction of the Arsenal Bird named Liberty, many Erusean Forces have withdrawn to the western perimeter, leaving Los Canas and San Salvacion to the Osean Armed Forces.
As for now, by the LRSSG Base, many days later...
Alexa: Well, we are getting more new weapons now. And even I have to carry much ordnance to the base, and I think that the Eruseans have more tricks up their sleeves now.
Osean Flight Engineer: Agreed.
Alexa gets more tracking air-to-air missiles from both Osea and Satsuma, and more newer experimental weapons are delivered on time.
Alexa: So, that's the last one! I better go take a little break in the mess hall.
At the mess hall...
Alexa was eating some good bread with the School Idols and Húxiān.
Alexa: Mjam! This a nice bread! Where did that bread come from?
Eli: From Emma's hometown.
Alexa: Emma? That Valaian girl who moved to Satsuma?
Honoka: That one. She lived only 4 km east of the Valais Air Base. Her city produces many types of tasty bread. She later moved to Satsuma to study.
Alexa: Ah, that's why. Anyway, I hope that we have a mission.
Húxiān: Tomorrow, you'll get it, Alexa.
Alexa: Thanks, Húxiān. Anyway, I'll have very soon some time for another School Idol Training.

Alexa: Another good morning. Let's gear up and head to the briefing room.
I geared up in my pilot suit and headed for the briefing room.
The briefing is about to begin.

OBO: The destruction of one of their Arsenal Birds has significantly reduced the scale of Erusea's air defense network.
Osean military forces have moved into the areas where we gained air superiority and freed over half of the Usean Continent.
However, Erusea is feeling the pressure and is reacting by attempting to activate the ballistic missile base in the suburbs of Sierraplata. For the past 72 hours, they've put their resources and people in action and already entered the final stages of a launch.
The missile silo is deep underground. To destroy it, we'll need a bomber to drop a huge deep-penetration bomb in a precise place.
Unfortunately, that air space is thick with clouds at the moment, so it'll be difficult for a bomber to hit the target accurately.
Normally, we'd wait for the weather to clear, but with the situation being what it is, we don't have that option.
So, we will be the bomber's eyes and find the missile silo.
You'll all be equipped with targeting pods instead of special weapons. We need you to fly at low altitude, visually identify which silo they're activating, then acquire it with your targeting pod.
Once you press the firing switch, the bombers will drop the payload based on the location data provided by the targeting pod.
You will need to keep the silo in the center of your sight until the bomb hits the target, or else it will miss entirely.
It takes a high level of airmanship to properly guide these bombs to their targets while flying a plane.
Naturally, we assume that the enemy has positioned anti-air artillery and aircraft in the AO, so stay alert.
Additionally, we've suffered human and material losses in the last battle, so Cyclops will sit this one out. They will not sortie.
Trigger, it's up to you to make this work with just Strider Squadron. Your Satsuman allies will also support for this mission.

Alexa: Okay, we have to destroy those missile silos with the targeting pods on our aircraft, guess I'll have My F-15C will have some upgrades needed to get these missiles.
Count: That might be needed.
Wiseman: Indeed. Also, which members of your School Idol Group are going to cover the Strider Squadron this time?
Alexa: Honoka and Setsuna will sortie and provide cover.
Wiseman: Okay, just the 2 of them?
Alexa: Just the 2 of them.
Wiseman: All right, I'll...
Honoka: We already notified the task. It's me, Yukiho on the WSO seat and Setsuna-san will fly with Strider Squadron.
Wiseman: I think that I'll just shouldn't worry about it. Anyway, Good luck, the 3 of you!

After taking off with just Strider Squadron as well as Honoka and Setsuna, we arrived at the Sierraplata Missile base.
Alexa: All right, Honoka and Setsuna, you all ready for the plan?
Honoka and Setsuna: We're ready!
Alexa: Honoka, Take out any anti-air emplacements guarding the missile silos. Setsuna, eliminate all enemy aircraft with your pulse lasers and heat seeking missiles.
Honoka and Setsuna: Copy that. We're on it!
Long Caster: Erusea only has 5 IRBM silos in total. Therefore, the enemy's made a number of fake silos to try and throw our bombers off the scent.
Count: Did you say fake?
Long Caster: They painted to look like the real thing from the sky. You can't tell the difference.
Osean Bomber: It's the wing of that LRSSG that brought down that Arsenal Bird. We got the bombs. You do the terminal guidance.
Alexa: Copy that. I'll shoot the fakes with my gun, it'll determine if it's a fake or not.
Then Alexa sees an anti-air gun.
Alexa: Visual on a anti-air gun. Honoka-chan! Attack their anti-air weapons!
Honoka: On it! Yukiho, fire!
Yukiho: Firing!
Honoka eliminated the anti-air defenses on the first missile silo.
Long Caster: In order to use the targeting pods, you'll need to change weapons first. Try to align with the missile silo with the circle in the center of your HUD. When you're lined up, hit the firing switch and the bomb will drop.
You're gonna need to keep the silo aligned until the bomb hits.
Alexa: Okay, targeting pod activated on the silo.
Long Caster: Keep the targeting pod trained on that silo until the payload is delivered.
And then the bomb drops on the silo and hits.
Count: The bunker buster hit it's mark! Time for fireworks!
The silo blew up.
Long Caster: Destruction of first missile silo confirmed.
Alexa: Good. Now we know where to hit it.
OB: The IRBM is aimed at the Osean garrison. Soldiers' lives are at stake. And we have no time.
Count: They've completely lost it.
Jaeger: You can bet on it.
Honoka: More emplacements, Yukiho.
Yukiho: I see it, onee-chan! Firing.
Honoka's Su-30 destroyed the enemy defenses.
Long Caster: Dropping another bunker buster will take some time. Aim carefully.
Alexa: Got it.
Long Caster: The enemy set up anti-air weapons in multiple locations.
Jaeger: We need to work together to take them down.
Alexa: Indeed, but I'll let Honoka take them on while I go on the silos.
Her F-15C flies some rounds and the targeting pod is marked on the second silo.
OB: Target confirmed. Dropping the bomb now!
And the DP Bomb hit the second silo, and the fire blew up the silo.
Long Caster: Missile silo destroyed! That makes two! No launch signs yet.
Alexa: Good. Setsuna, eliminate any aircraft you encounter!
Setsuna: I'm on it! 2 aircrafts appraoching!
Count: We might be able to pull this off.
Jaeger: Let's keep it up and get the rest of these silos.
Alexa: No doubt, Jaeger!
Long Caster: Picking up an enemy squadron. It must be the reinforcements they called in. They don't appear to be going after our bomber.
Setsuna: Long Caster, I'll stop them!
Long Caster: Roger that, Azuna 2. Take 'em out if they interfere with our mission.
Setsuna: I'm on it!
And Setsuna immediately took down 4 enemy aircraft.
Count: Missile inbound, Azuna 2!
Jaeger: We did it! Great one!
Lanza: That takes care of that! Nice work!
EF 3: Breaking off!
Count fired a missile, but the enemy evaded it.
Count: He dodged it!
Setsuna eliminated the enemy Typhoon fighter.
EF 4: They did it!
EF 5: I've been hunted by a scarlett red jet fighter!
Lanza: You're mine.
Lanza shot down an enemy fighter.
Jaeger fired a missile.
Gram 7: This is Gram 7. Evading enemy missile.
Another enemy fight got shot down by Setsuna.
Setsuna: Enemy aircrafts eliminated.
Alexa: Good job.
Honoka fires her LAGMs on the enemy anti-air.
Honoka: Targets destroyed.
Lanza: This is a serious mission. Was it Wiseman who gave Strider 2 to Count?
Jaeger: Our formation changes every mission. I'm sure he has a reason for it.
Count: I'll believe that when I see it. I'm just glad that he won't be there to chew my ear off.
Jaeger: And Trigger chooses several top pilots/school idol who can help her out on every mission.
Alexa: I can only choose which are going to sortie with us, the rest stays on alert.
Count: The company commander's got skills, I'll give him that. But the best players don't always make the best coaches.
Jaeger: Well, one does come along every once in a while.
It takes considerable manpower and supplies to launch the missile.
Alexa: Fake target silo marked!
Count: We've got ourselves a fake. you can see it's just paint if you look. There's no dimension.
Alexa: Fake target ignored. Honoka-chan, suppress the next position. I'll deter it's fake or not.
Honoka: On it!
Honoka suppressed the enemy position on the next missile silo.
Alexa: While Setsuna deals with the enemy fighters, It'll not hurt her while I take down the helicopters.
Alexa eliminated an enemy copter with fighter machineguns.
Jaeger: Strider 1, nice work!
Honoka: Enemy position supressed, Alexa, go.
Alexa: On it.
While aiming the targeting pod, Alexa used her machineguns to fire on the silo.
Alexa: Target marked. This must be the one!
OB: Target confirmed. Dropping the bomb now!
And that missile silo blew up.
OB: All right! Now let's take out those remaining silos!
Long Caster: Missile silo destroyed!
Count: Where do we look next?
Alexa shot down another enemy helicopter.
Count: The sky feels open and free today. As a Cyclops, I felt like a bird in a cage. Once this mission is over, I guess we'll be back under the company commander's thumb again. *sigh* What a pain in the ass.
Alexa: More enemy positions. Honoka, you know what to do with them.
Honoka said no words and destroyed the enemy defenses swiftly.
Setsuna: Long Caster, I'll have a question.
Long Caster: Go question, Azuna 2.
Setsuna: What if a missile silo fires not on the ground, but it launches in the water?
Long Caster: Good thought, what if a missile silo launches a missile in the water?
Well, the missile still when it's out of the water, it still launches.
Setsuna: We'll find out.
Honoka swiftly destroyed the defenses and Alexa marked the enemy missile silo.
Alexa: Marked. Let's hope that this one isn't a fake.
OB: Target confirmed. Dropping the bomb now!
The DPB hit the silo and the silo exploded.
Count: Boom! Right on the money!
Long Caster: Hit! Target destroyed!
OB: The fewer they are, the harder they are to find. Good luck.
Long Caster: We might make it! Just one silo left!
Count: I'm like a wolf that's been let off its leash. These guys won't know what hit 'em.
Jaeger: I thought you were a bird freed from its cage.
EGU 2: The fake silos should buy us some time.
Alexa: Alot of enemy positions! And parked aircraft! Honoka, deal with them. I'll destroy the enemy aircraft parked here.
Honoka: Okay.
Jaeger: Hostile has lock on you, Strider 1!
Honoka eliminates the enemy positions, while Alexa shoots down the VTOL aircraft.
Jaeger: Strider 1, that's what I like to see!
Long Caster: All enemy aircraft confirmed destroyed!
Count: Do we have time for the silos?!
Alexa: Plenty of time, Count.
Long Caster: 5 minutes remaining.
Alexa: Still plenty of time.
Alexa defeats the enemy copters and Honoka suppressed the enemy positions.
Count: Trigger, missile inbound!
But Alexa evaded the enemy missile.
And later she fired her guns and sees it now that this silo is fake.
Count: Take a good look--it's fake. Keep huntin', Trigger.
Alexa: Honoka, Setsuna, we'll fly to the next position north.
Setsuna: Azuna 2 copies.
Honoka: Muse 1, Understood.
The team flies north and Alexa eliminated the enemy tanks.
Alexa: Enemy tanks eliminated.
And Honoka eliminated the enemy position.
EGU 1: They're taking out our silos one by one! This ain't good.
Alexa fired her guns if it's fake.
Alexa: This silo is fake, let's get a move on.
Honoka: Got it, Strider 1.
Alexa: There's one left. Honoka, you know what to do.
Honoka: Okay.
Long Caster: 3 minutes remaining.
Honoka: Enemy positions suppressed! Go, Strider 1!
Alexa: Target marked!
OB: Target confirmed. Dropping the bomb now!
The DPB hits this missile silo and the silo blew up.
Long Caster: All missile silos have been destroyed!
Alexa: Great!
Count: Wait... What the hell was that?!
On the dam in the water, a missile is launched.
The bossters have been activated and it's flying upward.
Long Caster: Alert! We've detected an IRBM launch! Confirmed signature on our radar!
Launch site is... this dam!
Jaeger: Not from the silos?!
Long Caster: They certainly hid it well!
Alexa see from her rear an Mig-31 Ace named Comet.
Alexa: Setsuna, eliminate the enemy ace, while I go after the IRBMs!
Setsuna: I'm on it!
Long Caster: We still have a chance! Shoot it down before it reaches critical altitude!
Alexa: Do not worry, AWACS! I'm on it!
Alexa chases the enemy IRBM, while Setsuna's pulse laser attack on her aircraft defeats the Mig-31 Ace.
Setsuna: Enemy ace defeated! That ace will be off the list. Alexa, Can you reach it?
Alexa: Working on it. Defeat any aircraft you encounter, Setsuna!
Setsuna: No problem.
EF 1: Breaking to escape lock!
Long Caster: The target will soon reach critical altitude! Hurry!
And then...
Long Caster: Confirmed signature on our radar! Warning! We confirm another launch! Take it out!
Alexa managed to shootdown the IRBM.
Alexa: IRBM destroyed. Now for the other!
Alexa flies as fast as her plane will.
And she sees the 2nd IRBM.
Long Caster: New hostiles. All aircraft, confirm.
Count: How much longer is this gonna keep going?
Alexa: Only a few minutes.
Long Caster: Warning! Additional launch confirmed!
Count: Incoming!
And Alexa's missiles destroyed another IRBM.
Alexa: Another IRBM destroyed. One more remaining.
Setsuna defeated an enemy bandit.
EF 4: Bandit sighted.
EF 5: Evade that missile!
Alexa flies fast.
Alexa: There it is!
EF 4: Attack missed!
Alexa flies close enough, and shoots along with the missiles and machineguns the IRBM down.
The IRBM exploded.
Long Caster: All of the missiles have been destroyed.
Alexa: Phew! Mission accomplished!
Count: That was cutting it pretty close. I was starting to get a little nervous.
OB: You're telling me. You had us sweating up here, and there wasn't even anything we could do about it. Glad we were partnered with you on this operation.
Count: That went about as expected. Be sure to include in the report how much ass I kicked whole off the company commander's leash.
Alexa fires her last chaff in a spiral.
Alexa: Nicely done, Honoka, Yukiho and Setsuna! We have stopped the enemy IRBMs!
Setsuna: Cleverly job!
Long Caster: Setsuna, that question of yours, I confirmed it well.
Setsuna: Guess you knew it very well.
Jaeger: Roger that, and I'll be sure to include all of the words you said about Wiseman too.
Alexa: That, I'll deal with it.
All aircraft return to base with out complaint.
Debriefing LRSSG/SIAD
We have successfully prevented an enemy ballistic missile attack.
Strider Squadron, you did very well without your unit commander.
Trigger, nice work with the commanding the squadron. Honoka and Setsuna, fine work for suppressing the enemy.
We are now preparing for the final stage of our long-range operation: seizing the capital.
Debriefing ended.
At the LRSSG Base after the mission.
Alexa: *stretching* That went awesome!
Honoka: Indeed! Me and Yukiho worked very well!
Alexa: Yeah, thanks for suppressing the enemy, Honoka-chan!
Honoka: Arigatou Gozaimasu!
Alexa: Anyway, Wiseman want us to come to his room.
After arriving in Wiseman's room...
Wiseman: Ah, Alexa and Honoka. Glad that you two came here. Miyafuji had called me. Alexa, the SBI have given us some intel about the giga-submarine that was in Artiglio Harbor. We are preparing an operation about this submarine.
Alexa: I see.
Wiseman: The advance to the capital will have to wait for now.
Alexa: First the submarine, then we go to attack the capital.
Wiseman: Indeed. While we were busy, Miyafuji has called the Satsuman Military Command for 12 cargoships, 5 of them are supplied with emergency supplies, medical aid and construction materials, 5 more with food and water, and 2 of them are supplied with fuel and oil for storage. Also, some oiltankers from Satsuma are also on their way to Skully Islands.
I believe that these ships are now at Skully Islands, these islands are neutral until the Satsuman military has occupied the island and use it as a supply base for the School Idols Air Division.
Both these ships and the islands are heavily guarded by the Satsuman Navy.
One of the freighters is used as the food supply ship of the SN Sakamoto.
Alexa: Nice work from the Air Commander.
Wiseman: Glad she did. And because of this news that you girls knew. Alexa, You and Printemps members, Honoka and Hanayo, as well as Azunas 1 and 2, alongside Eli are going to be redeployed to the Sakamoto. Shizuku and Kotori will stay here as well as Yu. Guilty Kiss is also on their way, along with You, Rina, Kanata and Hanamaru.
Alexa and Honoka: Understood/Yokai!
Wiseman: I'll tell the rest of Strider Squadron that you are away for redeployment. But you can still contact us with your laptop and the webcam. Good luck in the aircraft carrier!
Alexa: We will, later!
Several minutes later...
Alexa: Okay, all here?
Alexa and Honoka has called up Setsuna, Hanayo, Ayumu and Eli to the hangars to tell them that they are going to redeployed, You, Guilty Kiss, Saint Snow, Hanamaru, Rina, Haruka and Kanata Konoe are already on the way to the Sakamoto.
Alexa: We are heading to our hybrid aircraft carrier Sakamoto, who is stationed just west of the Skully Islands. From there, we will be operating there to over see the giant submarine.
Ayumu: Okay! A huge submarine!
Eli: Alexa, we learned that submarine from the news on TV after we moved you to the new apartment?
Alexa: That one.
Eli: I've called Karibuchi, she is in the Sakamoto and a another person of the OIA are providing us some specifics of this submarine. This person of the OIA works also at his home office in Oured. He's online once we arrive at the Sakamoto.
Alexa: Okay. So, let's go, everyone! To your planes!
Honoka, Yukiho, Eli, Hanayo, Ayumu and Setsuna: Ooooohhh!
The School Idol members and Alexa took off from the LRSSG base and headed to the Sakamoto, stationed in the Skully Island.
After arriving and landing on the carrier, the girls are headed to the briefing room and activated the data-link satellite.
Karibuchi: Ah there you are, he's online.
The sat-comms reveal a man in his 30s, has a black skin and short hair and short stache and short beard.
???: Hello girls, My name is David North. I'm a OIA analyst of the Advanced Weapon Analsys. Karibuchi and I are busy to make any intel about the giant submarine. You all heard about it?
Alexa: Only Eli, Umi, Ayumu and me.
David: So, you must be Capt. Alexandra Hailstone, leader of the Strider Squadron, Call sign: Three Strikes. Is it?
Alexa: You are very well informed.
David: Indeed. I've also monitored all the missions in your data in my computer. I've also have an AI in the computer named Alex. Say hello.
Alex: Hi, I'm Alex. An AI of the OIA.
Alexa: She has my name, right?
David: No, not really, this is different. For now, I'll tell you girls further intel later, I'll have some tasks to do.

Shizuku was called to Wiseman and he brought Ophelia, Shizuku's pet in the base.
Ophelia: Woof!
Shizuku: Ophelia likes it!
Maki: Yeah! Miyafuji likes her and brought her here, while Yu brings her back soon to Satsuma tomorrow.
And then, Húxiān arrived and opened the door.
Húxiān: Hey girls, hey Ophelia!
Shizuku, Maki and Kotori: Hey Húxiān!
Húxiān: How are you girls, now that Yu and you two are now left in the base?
Kotori: Oh, We are doing good. We have made a Kimono by now, and its pretty long.
Húxiān: It's pretty, can I try it?
Kotori: Why not? We'll help you!
And a few minutes later...
Húxiān: So, what do you think?
Húxiān wears a the kimono Kotori made.
Kotori: It suits you pretty well!
Shizuku: You are getting beautiful by the way you are!
Ophelia: Woof!
Húxiān: Thank you, girls.
Shizuku: So, what brings you here?
Húxiān: Oh that? Wiseman has called me to allow me to stay with you girls.

Yu: Miyafuji and Wiseman have during Alexa's mission, asked me that she and some of the School Idols in the base are going to be redeployed to our Satsuman made hybrid aircraft carrier. We are planning for a new operation.
Count: What kind of operation?
Wiseman: You find that out very soon. Yu and I have only her redeployed, along with some of the School Idols. The rest of Strider Squadron must stay here.
Count: We have to stay here? Jeez... Only our flight leader and some of her Idol friends leave for this new type of aircraft carrier while we're stuck here.
Jaeger: So, this hybrid aircraft carrier, is it modern made of?
Wiseman: It's the finest Satsuman made aircraft-carrier, and it is the largest of our all of our aircraft carriers that we deployed. It can even resupply land-based aircraft.
Count: No way! It can do that?
Jaeger: And is it heavily defended?
Wiseman: Yes, it has some of the strongest defenses. They thought of everything pretty well.
Count: On that, I can't complain.
Wiseman: A Brigadier General will soon arrive to take charge of this operation. Make sure that you are all prepared for it.
Count and Jaeger: Roger that!/Understood.
Wiseman: And Yu?
Yu: Yes?
Wiseman: Make sure that our Satsuman allies will all hear this operation. I also gave before Trigger and your members left, some underwater parts for the missions soon to come.
Yu: I'll do what I can, sir.
And the 3 left Wiseman's office.
After the conversation, Yu headed for the School Idols bunk.
Yu: Hey girls!
Kotori: Hey Yu-chan!
Yu: What are you girls doing?
Shizuku: Oh, we just have done some dresswork to do. And Húxiān is with us too.
Húxiān: That's correct. Are you also a...?
Yu: No, but I'm a School Idol managing member. That is also a job to help them.
Húxiān: Oh that's a good one, managing some of or all of the School Idols here.
Yu: It is. How are you girls holding.
Maki: We are making a good time.
Ophelia: Woof!
And so the School Idols, as well as Yu, Ophelia and Húxiān, are making fun and are getting well along with each other. And soon they will be prepared to for the next operation: The hunt on a giant submarine.
