Chapter 91: Baba Chops Vs Lenny LemurLaugh: A Small Stage For A Forgotten Memory
Baba Chops meanwhile was slowly waking up after being knocked out in the head.
"Uhhhhh…." She groaned in pain, "What just happened? …And… Where am I?"
Baba looked around and noticed that she was tied to a chair.
"And who tied me to a chair?" She wondered as she then felt a pain at the back of her head, "Fuck…"
Baba looked around and saw a knife on a table. She got up while still being tied to a chair and turned around to get the knife from behind. She started to cut the ropes she is tied to, one by one until she was able to free herself. She drops the table and rope below before putting the knife away. She looked around more and came across her Deck and Duel Disk, but with someone else's pile of cards. She looked at the first card of that pile.
"Eldlich The Golden Lord…" She said, "I know this card, but… Who used it?"
Baba then heard a laugh from outside the room she was in. She took the pile of cards and shuffled it into her Deck. She then puts her new Deck into her Duel Disk and heads out to find the source of the laugh.
"Who's there?" Baba hollered, "Better show yourself!"
Someone appeared behind Baba.
"Right behind you!" He said,
Baba turned to see a lemur critter in a jester costume, being Lenny LemurLaugh.
"...I'm sorry, but who are you?" Baba wondered,
"Oh, come now, I'm here to help you!" Lenny replied, "My name is–"
The back of Baba's head started to hurt as Baba groaned in pain.
"Shit…" She said, "Sorry, but I'm in a bad spot right now. I have to get out of here."
"Oh, a little buildup in our story!" Lenny said, "Tell me, where are you going? Who will you meet?"
"...I don't know who I'm gonna meet. And I don't know where I am going…"
"Well, do you remember your name?"
"...Baba Chops? I believe my name is Baba Chops."
"Well, Baba Chops, your dreams of finding your memories recently forgotten will be shattered! As I will make sure you no longer forget who rubbed you the wrong way!"
Baba was disgusted.
"Ok, now you're pissing me off." She said as she pushed Lenny by while on her way, "Get lost, clown!"
Then, a barrier blocked Baba's way as she felt one of her legs kick it.
"What the?!" She said,
"Unfortunately… I run the show…" A serious Lenny said as he got out his red and black Duel Disk and activated it, "I'll only let you go if you win in a duel against me…"
"...Fine."
Baba activates her Duel Disk.
"Bring it on!" She shouted,
"Duel!" Both Baba and Lenny shouted to start their duel together,
Turn 1
Baba Chops: 4000
Lenny LemurLaugh: 4000
Baba was first.
"Ladies first." Lenny said to her,
"Gee, thanks." Baba said with sarcasm,
Baba started the duel with 2 set cards in her Spell and Trap Zone.
"I'll set 2 and end my turn." She said,
"Wh-That's it?!" Lenny said, "I was expecting more from you!"
Baba had a serious look on her face, almost scaring Lenny. Lenny gulped.
"I-I mean… Sure, I'll accept the next turn!" He said as he draws to start Turn 2,
Baba looked at her hand of 3 cards now.
"Ok… What do I do in this situation?" She wondered,
Lenny then played a Field Spell.
"Ta-da!" He said, "I activate the Field Spell, Despia, Theater Of The Branded to start our little show together!"
"Branded…" Baba said, confused, "Despia…"
"Oh, looks like one of those memories of yours is looking to come back!"
"What are you talking about?"
"Come now, you have a closed one that plays an almost similar deck as I am, no?"
"...Not that I recall…"
"Ah, the classic case of amnesia! Looks like you can't remember a thing, for now! Because I'll help you retrieve those memories, starting now!"
Lenny posed as he pointed at his Field Spell.
"Now, to activate Despia, Theater Of The Branded's effect!" He shouted, "Which lets me Fusion Summon a Level 8 or higher Fusion Monster!"
"Bring it on, ya dollar store actor." Baba said,
"Oooh, words that will anger me! Ok, madame, let's do things your way!"
Lenny then revealed Aluber The Jester Of Despia, Guiding Queen, The Virtuous and Despian Tragedy.
"I will be using Aluber The Jester Of Despia, Guiding Queen, The Virtuous and Despian Tragedy as Fusion Materials!" He shouted,
Baba was ready.
"One of those monsters feels familiar." She said, "This has to be used by someone I know…"
A Fusion Summon has started as Aluber The Jester Of Despia, Guiding Queen, The Virtuous and Despian Tragedy were used as Fusion Materials under Despia, Theater Of The Branded.
"Unleash your dark yet darker spotlight to form the true ending of an apocalypse!" Lenny chanted, "Fusion Summon! End everything in your act, Despian Proskenion!"
Despian Proskenion was Fusion Summoned in Attack Position with 3200 ATK Points. Baba looked at Lenny's Fusion Monster.
"Damn." She said, surprised, "I haven't seen this one before…"
"Poor me, it seems that my shot at bringing back your memories is gone!" Lenny said, "But it doesn't matter, because it's time to battle!"
The Battle Phase started.
"What a cool monster." Baba said as she smiled, "It would be so lovely if I had it under my control."
"I have no idea what's going on, but that won't happen!" Lenny said, "Because like I said, I run this show! And I'll prove it as I use my Despian Proskenion to attack you directly with Despian Destruction!"
Despian Proskenion then charged up blasts of purple energy and fired it at Baba, but Baba stood her ground.
"Not so fast, clown!" She shouted, "I activate my Continuous Trap, Crackdown!"
Crackdown was revealed and activated.
"Remember I wonder what's it like to have that monster under my control?" Baba wondered, "I mean it, because with Crackdown, Despian Proskenion is mine!"
"What?!" Lenny shouted,
Despian Proskenion's attack disappeared as Despian Proskenion went under Baba's control at her side of the field.
"You… You sly dog!" Lenny shouted,
"I ain't a dog, I'm a sheep." Baba said, "A black sheep with an angsty mood."
Baba was surprised with what she said.
"Wait… I remember what my personality is." She said, "And out of nowhere too…"
Lenny rolled his eyes.
"No!" He shouted, "This show is not what I planned!"
Lenny then sets a card.
"But it doesn't matter, I'll make a turn around!" He said, "I'll set this card and end my turn! I hope this will help me!"
"Alright, my turn!" Baba said as she draws to start Turn 3, "And you're lucky your Despian Proskenion can't attack or activate its effect under my control through Crackdown."
"Good! Because I'm already finding a way!"
"Are ya sure about that?"
"Oh great, where is my show going now?!"
"Just watch and be amazed! Because this turn will be your grand finale!"
Baba then revealed a Quick-Play Spell.
"First, I'll activate Twin Twisters!" She said as she activates it, "By discarding a card, I get to destroy up to 2 Spells and Traps on the field, and I think ya know what I'm gonna do."
Baba then discards Zombie Necronize and uses Twin Twisters to destroy Lenny's Field Spell and his set card, being the Trap Card, Dimension Wall.
"No, I needed that!" Lenny shouted, "I'm defenseless!"
"Indeed you are!" Baba shouted,
Baba then revealed a monster.
"Next, I'll sacrifice ya Despian Proskenion to Tribute Summon Changshi The Spiridao!" She said,
Despian Proskenion was tributed and Crackdown was destroyed as Changshi The Spiridao was Tribute Summoned in Attack Position with 2000 ATK Points.
"And now for Changshi's effect during my Main Phase!" Baba said, "Which lets me send a Zombie monster from my Hand or Deck to my Graveyard, so I'll send one from my Deck and, just be amazed."
Baba then sends a different Zombie monster from her Deck to her Graveyard, being none other than Eldlich The Golden Lord.
"Wait a minute, Eldlich?!" Lenny shouted, "That's Simon's card!"
"Simon?" Baba wondered, "I don't know who he is, but I suppose he used that card?"
"Uhhh, sure!"
"Well in that case, I'll activate Eldlich's effect from my Graveyard!"
Baba then sends her other set card on her field to her Graveyard, being the Trap Card, Trap Of The Imperial Tomb.
"By sending a Spell or Trap on my field to the Graveyard, I can add back Eldlich from my Graveyard to my hand." Baba said as she does so, "But ya know something?"
"What?" Lenny wondered,
"Eldlich also has another effect afterwards where I can Special Summon a Zombie monster from my hand, then have them gain 1000 ATK and DEF Points, and finally can't be destroyed by card effects, all until the end of ya next turn."
"I already know what Eldlich does…"
"Well you're about to see it with ya own eyes, because I'm Special Summoning Eldlich The Golden Lord in Attack Position, right now!"
Eldlich The Golden Lord was Special Summoned onto the field in Attack Position with 2500 ATK Points, but was increased to 3500 under his own effect.
"No, impossible!" Lenny shouted, "I'm the main character here! I'm supposed to achieve a happy ending!"
"Unfortunately, you're nothing but a supporting jester." Baba said, "But anyways, I'm never gonna set foot in your own theater again! Battle!"
The Battle Phase started again.
"Eldlich and Changshi will attack you directly and end this duel!" Baba shouted, "Get out of my sight ya clown!"
Changshi The Spiridao and Eldlich The Golden Lord attacked Lenny with their respective attacks and dealt enough damage to drain his Life Points to 0. Baba was the winner of the duel. Lenny was on one knee after the attacks.
"Urgh… You…" He said, frustrated, "I… I didn't even get a chance to shine my spotlight!"
"With what ya are, I rather not see it." Baba said,
Then, the two heard someone crying out, "HELP!"
"Who was that?!" Baba said, shocked,
"Ahh… She's awoken." Lenny said,
"She? What did ya do?"
"Nothing, really! I was told to keep an eye on her until the time comes!"
Baba then ran past Lenny to head up the stairs to find the source of whoever was crying for help, but as soon as she reached the top step, Lenny teleported behind her with his dark powers to grab her left leg.
"NO!" He shouted, "YOU WILL NOT DISRUPT OUR PLAN!"
Baba kicked Lenny in the face as she got up the 3rd floor of the abandoned laboratory. Lenny appeared in front of her as if the kick in his face didn't do anything and tried to fight her, but Baba dodged an attack and got out her knife and stabbed Lenny at his left shoulder.
"GAHHHHH!" Lenny shouted in pain,
Baba then slams Lenny to the floor as she hears the voice crying out for help again and rushes out. Lenny meanwhile got the knife out of his wound and covered it with his hand while groaning in pain.
"I must… find… Bitsy and LabRat…" He said as he slowly disappeared into the darkness, "We have… to get this… done… for our Prince Prototype…"
In a room, an emotional and scared KittyNap was tied to a chair with rope as she was breathing heavily.
"HELP!" She shouted, "ANYONE?!"
The door to the room KittyNap was in opened wide to reveal Baba. KittyNap gasped as she saw her.
"Baba!" She shouted,
"Don't worry, I gotcha." Baba said as she went to untie KittyNap and freed her,
KittyNap then hugged Baba.
"I wasn't expecting my big brother's girlfriend to save me, but I'm happy!" She said,
"Huh?" Baba wondered as she freed herself from the hug, "Girlfriend?"
"You're dating CatNap, my big brother!"
"...And what's your name?"
"...KittyNap. …Wait, did you… forget your memories?"
"I guess, but…"
Baba's head started to hurt again.
"Oh my, are you ok?" KittyNap said as she comforted her, "You probably have amnesia for a while… But don't worry, I'm sure your memories will come back."
"I hope so…" Baba said, "But… We gotta get out of here. You gotta be on your own to meet up with someone you know, ok?"
"Where will you be?"
"...I got stuff to do."
