"Has it been leaked that All-Might is now a teacher at the academy?"
Foresight and her wife, Hero-5094 of the SCP Foundation, Schoolhouse Hero: Agent of J, were looking over photos of UA High. Due to her Double Vision Quirk, Foresight was often given photos of secure buildings and locations to see if anyone would successfully infiltrate them. This has prevented numerous break-in attempts from various villain organizations.
"More than likely. I was really surprised when he decided to become a teacher this year."
"Someone's going to break into UA using the cover of the media debacle. Their goal is to try and kill All-Might." Foresight said. "There won't be any way to stop him from going, not if he learns his students are in danger. But we might be able to catch these villains off-guard if he's not there when they first show up."
Agent of J nodded, then turned on her special hologram disc reader.
"Miss Joyce, I need a new lesson plan."
The hologram showed a very old-school graphical female teacher.
'Happy to help, Xenia! What would you like to learn this time?'
Agent of J smiled. "Advanced security and counter-espionage. Oh, and infiltration tactics."
The students of Class 1-A were learning quickly why Aizawa hated the media. Paparazzi tended to be pushy when there was something they really wanted to know. Only Tenya seemed to be able to handle them, his long-winded speeches tiring them out and giving the rest of the class some much-needed peace.
One female reporter tried to pursue Aizawa to get an interview with him, only to be blocked off by the security gate at the school's entrance, which kept out those who didn't have a school ID.
"How does All-Might get anything done with reporters hounding him all the time?" Aizawa wondered.
"It's even worse now that the nation knows Toshi's teaching here at UA. Now everyone wants to get their hands on All-Might." Serpenshia noted.
The Eel Hero suddenly got a call on his smartphone. After a few minutes of talking, he hung up.
"And I do mean everyone... We need to call in an emergency teachers' meeting."
Prior to the meeting, Aizawa spoke with his class.
"I reviewed the footage of your combat training yesterday. You won't hear me say this often, but I was very impressed. All of you performed decently. And you listened to instructions from your teammates without issue."
However, the Erasure Hero did make a point to give Minoru a look, which made the dwarfish boy grumble.
"Why do I get the feeling I'm gonna get singled out for harassment charges?"
Tsumi smirked. "Keep a 'look but don't touch' policy, and you shouldn't have a problem."
"Now for the next item," Aizawa cut in. "This next task will decide your future. It's time... To pick your class representative."
The class breathed a sigh of relief, grateful that it was just normal school stuff. However, that's when the class broke out into chaos, as each student wanted to be picked. In a normal school being the class rep simply means having extra work. But in UA's Hero Course, being the class rep could get a student noticed by the various hero agencies. After all, it was proof that a hero-in-training could lead a team like a real pro.
"Silence please!" Tenya cut in. "The class rep must be capable of leading others. That's not something just anyone can do. It's first important to have the trust of every student in the classroom."
"I have to agree with Iida here." Tsumi chimed in. "We should all hold a vote, that way we can ensure that we get some everyone can agree with."
"But won't everyone just vote for themselves, kero?" Tsuyu asked.
"No, actually, not everyone wants the position or has faith in themselves, so it's likely that at least a few people will vote for someone else," Tsumi replied.
Aizawa nodded. "Since you seem to have a system in place, I have a teachers' meeting to get to. Let me know when I get back who you settled on."
He headed out the door, leaving some of the students wondering why the sudden meeting.
[ONE VOTING LATER...]
"HOW DID I GET THE MOST VOTES?!"
These were the words Izuku was asking himself as he saw that he gained five votes, Momo had gotten four, Tsumi had gotten three, and Tenya had gotten two.
"I'm amazed I even got any votes at all. I know most of the class only sees me as being too uptight." Tenya admitted.
Aizawa came back and saw the results before nodding his head.
"Alright, so the class rep is Midoriya, with Yaoyorozu as his deputy."
Izuku gulped. "All-Might made it clear that being the Symbol of Peace means being able to lead others. I'll need that practice for when it's my time."
Later the class was in Lunch Rush's Eatery, basically the school cafeteria. Lunch Rush was another hero working at the school, possessing the Quirk Feed the Hungry, which allowed him to create just about any type of food or dish imaginable provided he knew how to cook it, which is where the Object of Power, Good Home Cooking, came in. It was a magic cookbook that contained every recipe known to mankind.
These two gifts combined made Lunch Rush very popular with the students, and hardly any student from either the Hero, Support, General Ed, or Business Courses sought lunch elsewhere.
"I thought it would be just us voting for you, Deku," Ochako said, as she and the other friends sat down for their food.
"The ones who voted for you were Uraraka, me, Ben, Iida, and Tsumi," Morimoto said. "Katsuki and Kirishima voted for each other and Yaoyorozu got votes from Todoroki, Mineta, and Jiro."
"I didn't realize so many in this class trusted me," Izuku said.
Katsuki chuckled. "Honestly, I was kinda expecting it, which is why I didn't vote for you. I knew it was a foregone conclusion."
"I'm surprised you didn't vote for yourself. You seemed like you wanted the job." Mayumi said to Tenya.
"Wanting a job and being suited to it are two different things," Tenya pointed out. "I may look the stereotypical part of a class rep, but pretty much everyone tells me to chill out whenever I demand they respect the various school paraphernalia in our classroom. Besides, in terms of leading others, I still have much to learn compared to my brother Tensei."
"Oh yeah, the Turbo Hero: Ingenium!" Ben realized. "He's got over 65 sidekicks working with him."
"Wait..." Ochako smirked. "Does that mean you're rich, Iida?"
Tenya slumped. "Another reason I didn't vote for myself. I was afraid people would treat me differently if they knew I came from money."
"So you're rich, big deal," Tsumi said. "So are Todoroki and Yaoyorozu."
As everyone continued talking, Izuku suddenly felt Danger Sense go off. Seconds later, an alarm rang throughout the school.
"WARNING! LEVEL 3 SECURITY BREACH! ALL STUDENTS PLEASE EVACUATE THE BUILDING IN AN ORDERLY FASHION!"
"Someone got past the school's barriers?!" A random student asked. "That hasn't happened in the three years I've been here!"
"Goddamit, now the exits are gonna be packed!" Katsuki cursed.
Mayumi frowned. "Anytime someone says 'evacuate in an orderly fashion' everyone just hears 'evacuate' and runs for it, usually in the same direction."
As Izuku and his friends did their best to avoid getting trampled, Tenya was being carried by Tsumi, who seemed to grow gargoyle wings to fly.
"Who would even trespass on school grounds?!" He wondered before looking out the window. "The press from outside?!"
Izuku looked as well. "Looks like Aizawa-Sensei and Present Mic are trying to keep the press away from All-Might. It's his day off and he's taking the chance to have a date with Asahi."
"Better get these idiots settled down!" Ben said as he manipulated the wind to carry Izuku over to above the exit.
"Everyone! There's no need to panic! It's just the press trying to get an unsanctioned interview!" The Son of Regenizard called out, catching everyone's attention. "This school is protected by some of the top heroes in the nation, and we're supposed to be following their example! So we shouldn't just be rushing out all once in a mob! Most likely someone on the press pool used a Quirk to bypass the walls, so there's nothing dangerous going on!"
The police started showing up, causing the crowd to disperse as Izuku dropped down.
"Well, that's a relief. I was worried it would be something even worse." Morimoto said.
However, Izuku's friends then noticed the concerned look on his face, which brought back their unease.
"Oy, what's eating you, Deku?" Katsuki asked.
"Danger Sense went off just before the alarm. While I'm sure this security breach really is just what it appears, I somehow wonder if some villain wasn't behind it, trying to cause a scene."
"I'll have to talk with Nedzu about this." Tsumi frowned.
"You spend a lot of time with the principal?" Ochako asked.
"Well yeah, he's kinda my dad after all."
"That explains your Hero Costume..." Ben noted, slightly surprised. "Though who the heck did he get jiggy with?"
"Nah, I'm adopted." Tsumi explained. "Dad isn't exactly one for romantic relationships."
Meanwhile, Nedzu was examining the corroded barrier at the school gate alongside Midnight and Serpenshia.
"No ordinary member of the press could have done this," Midnight noted.
That's when Agent of J rode up on her bike.
"Xenia, you're back from the lesson already?"
"Miss Joyce and I have worked together so long that her lessons seem faster," Xenia said as she removed her visor.
Xenia Chau was born Quirkless, but she was still able to become a hero when she bonded with an Object of Power called Miss J's Whiz Kids' Schoolhouse. The Object in question was a simple CD-ROM containing the titular edutainment game, but the lead character, Miss J herself, was actually alive, a sentient and benevolent AI with a passion for teaching. Anyone bonded with her could learn at an accelerated rate, and she was able to teach any subject. Those who learned from her became experts in any field, and she always made sure they knew the basics first. For longer lessons, she made sure they took regular breaks for meals, sleep, bathroom, and recreation.
Additionally, despite being based on outdated software, the CD-ROM could be played on any computing system with a disk drive. Xenia had bonded with the Object when she was a little girl, and Miss J had been her only companion due to her parents working two jobs each and being largely shunned for being Quirkless. Thanks to Miss J, whom Xenia called Miss Joyce, she became an expert in mechanical engineering, computer software, and was now fluent in multiple languages.
Then one day, Xenia had an idea, and with Miss J's help, she learned law, various martial arts, and numerous gymnastics skills. This allowed her to apply for UA High School in her third year of junior high, and she passed the Entrance Exam easily, much to the shock of all her old elementary schoolmates, some of whom had also taken the exam and failed. Xenia was now the Schoolhouse Hero: Agent of J, passing on the learning Miss J had given her for so many years.
She knelt down to the remains of the barrier, rubbing some of it between her fingers.
"Someone used an acceleration of natural decomposition to break down the barrier. Considering the barrier is made from a combination of tungsten and telekill alloy, it must be incredibly powerful."
"Could this be related to what Foresight was warning us about?" Nedzu asked.
Possibly. It could be that this... Was a declaration of war."
"Who do you think we're dealing with?" Midnight asked. "I doubt the Chaos Insurgency would go to these kinds of lengths."
"No...I have a feeling this is someone new." Nedzu deduced. "Making a show of power to showcase themselves to the world."
Meanwhile, Mount Lady, Kamui Woods, and Hero-073, the Reassembled Hero: Mechacain were taking on a hulking villain named Habit Headgear. The brute was large and had used his Quirk Trap Flex to hold a family hostage, threatening to kill them if he was chased. However, he only had one arm to work with, the other having been damaged when he tried to attack Mechacain.
This was because of Mechacain's Quirk Pain Return, which caused any damage to him to be nullified, and to instead have it rebounded on whoever attacked him. And Habit Headgear had just tried to punch Mechacain in one of his cybernetic limbs. Habit backed up a little, then gasped as a red mist started to pour around him.
"Huh... What was I doing?"
He got a sharp pain in his arm, and the kids he was holding soon found themselves free. The eldest smiled when he saw their rescuer.
"It's Endo Hound!"
Endo Hound smiled as she leaped in, landing on all fours before standing up.
"Good to see you're okay. And I'm not the only one who showed up."
"MISSOURI SMASH!"
All-Might came flying it, delivering a hard chop to the back of Habit Headgear's large head, knocking him to the ground. As the villain tried to get up, he was suddenly surrounded by a high-tech cage-like device with spikes that impaled him in non-vital areas, keeping him pinned but also inflicting immense pain on him.
"Ah...I see you were waiting for the right opportunity to detain this criminal." Mechacain noted as he saw a masked cyborg approach.
"Any exploits that can be found MUST be exploited to achieve success as a Hero."
The cyborg was the Zero Hero: Drive Knight, a member of the S-Rankers, an elite Hero Team under the employ of the Hero Association. He was born with no Quirk but had a strong drive to be a Hero. He was abducted by the Church of the Broken God in hopes of appeasing their 'God', Scrapyard. However, through sheer perseverance, the man who would become Drive Knight escaped and was rescued by a kindly doctor named Kuseno, who helped him survive the forced cybernetics put on him and allowed him to make them his own.
After getting used to his new body, Drive Knight bonded with an Object of Power called the Shape-Changing Box, which was a box-like device with the ability to swiftly change shape and even fuse with his own body to form various weapons and gadgets.
As Drive Knight helped Mechacain detain the villain for transport, All-Might and Endo Hound hurried off.
"Not how I wanted to spend our date together."
"We both know you could never ignore someone in need. But is it just me, or are you slowing down?"
All-Might sighed. "It's not just you. Now that I've passed on One For All to Young Midoriya, I'm starting to run on fumes. In a few years, I'll only be able to maintain my full power for a few hours. Speaking of which, I hope you're ready for tomorrow."
In the dimly lit bar, the villain responsible for decaying the gates of UA was looking over footage looted from the school's archives, detailing the Unforeseen Simulation Joint.
"This place was created by Thirteen to train younger heroes in the ways of rescue." He chuckled. "It's the perfect series of levels for our new party!"
"Remember that this is no game. May we remind you of your own mortality?"
The young man turned to see a figure dressed as some kind of scholar, holding a large tome full of various pages. His robes covered every part of his body except his hands and his hood shrouded his face minus his eyes.
"Now now, remember why we're here."
The woman covered in flowers came in, as well as the masked-robed man.
"We're here to evaluate the protege of our old friend on behalf of our master."
"Sin Scholar, Daybreaker, and Gaia. Members of the Crimson Council." The mist villain greeted.
"Aw, you're not gonna be in our party?" The decay villain asked. "Well, with what we have planned we should be able to kill All-Might without you."
"Just be aware that no plan survives first contact with the enemy." Sin Scholar calmly pointed out. "You must be ready for anything that could go wrong."
The decay villain smirked. "This is gonna be the best boss raid ever!"
As I said in the previous chapter, Tomura will be getting new mentors in the form of supervillain versions of various SCP-001 proposals. Daybreaker is obviously "When Day Breaks", Gaia is "The World's Gone Beautiful", and Sin Scholar is "Sheaf of Papers".
And as you can also see, I'm including more than just Superhero SCPs, I'm also including Heroes from other animes such as One-Punch Man as well as various other Superhero concepts that PopCross Studios has done!
