One peaceful spring day in the jungle of India there was a village where the leader was preparing a special announcement.
And now I'm here to bring you all exciting news! The leader said with pride. My son Mowgli has been accepted to go to New York City for two weeks. And he can bring three or four friends with him.
As Mowgli the ten year old boy who was raised in the jungle and lived in the village came up he was very excited to go on his trip.
I am glad to go to the city that never sleeps. Said Mowgli feeling proud. I know who I want to take to go on my trip. And he picked his only two human friends. His four year old little brother Ranjan and his best friend and love interest the ten year old pretty girl Shanti.
I'm so delighted to go with you Mowgli. Shanti told him. New York is known as the city that never sleeps.
And me too! Ranjan replied.
I also wanted to tell you kids the leader explained, that you will be attending school.
What's school? Mowgli asked.
Well it's a place where boys and girls go to learn. The leader said. You will be learning new things like letters numbers and everything else about learning.
That sounds great! Shanti said. We can always use some education.
Yeah! Ranjan replied.
Okay then. Mowgli said smiling.
However, the leader explained. I need you kids to wear these new clothes so you can fit in with all the other children.
The kids saw their new clothes and went to put them on. Then Mowgli came out wearing a red shirt with blue sweatpants and white socks and brown shoes and wore a green baseball cap. Next Shanti came out wearing a purple headband a new pink sweatshirt and navy blue pants and some pink and white shoes. Finally Ranjan came out wearing a orange shirt with grey pants and red strap who should come into the village but two strange looking men who have name tags saying Phil Murray and Bob Cabot. Then the two men came up and made the announcement.
Sorry to interrupt this celebration. Phill said grabbing the microphone. But I Phill Murray and my friend Bob Cabot will take the three children to New York.
Quite so my pal. Bob said back.
Well okay then. The leader said. We expect you two strange new men to take good care of our kids. And make sure they're safe.
Okey Doke. Phill said.
So Mowgli Shanti and Ranjan got their suitcases and packed their stuff. Gave their parents hugs and they went off with Phill and Bob to head to the airport.
While they were walking in the jungle the kids didn't know who the strange men were. As it turns out the two strange looking men removed their masks and it turns out it was Baloo the bear and Bagherra the black panther who told them they were in disguise so people won't see them as wild animals and to be their local guardians. Soon they got on a bus and headed to the airport. Then Mowgli sat with Shanti on the right row with Ranjan in the end. And Baloo and Bagheera in their disguises sat on the right side. Then the plane was taking off. And so began the journey to New York. But they were unaware of two very strangers sitting in three back who were spying on them with sinister eyes.
