It was over. Deep down, Sarah Jane always knew this day would come. As much fun as it was to travel with the Doctor, it was never going to last forever, she just hadn't expected it to end quite so soon.

She was still young, perfectly able to keep up as the Time Lord dragged her from one perilous situation to another, yet here she was, back on earth, alone.

What now? After everything she'd seen and done, how could she go back to the humdrum existence she'd left behind? Maybe it was time to look for a new adventure.
