On one summer morning, a small girl with dark brown skin and black hair sleeps in her purple, star themed bed. Aurora soon woke up from her peaceful slumber as her alarm blared in the air. She clicked the sound off before stretching and taking her purple bonnet off her head. Once she gets out of her purple cotton pajamas, she fashions herself into a long-sleeved pink shirt with blue overalls and dark magenta boots. She pulls her dark, poofy hair into large puffs, the table littered with multiple gadgets. She grabs one that resembles a sort of grappling hook before she stuffs it into her front pocket on her overalls. She quickly heads down the stairs to see her mother and father in the kitchen, her older sister at the table eating eggs and bacon.

The smaller girl sits at her place at the table, "Good morning!"

The mother smiles at the child, "Good morning, Aurora! Did you sleep good last night?" The woman has dark skin, black hair styled in a tapered pixie bob. She is wearing a short sleeved purple shirt with a silver necklace and black pants with black shoes.

The black haired girl nods her head with excitement, "Oh man, Mom! I had a dream where a small triangle was talking to me!"

The older girl at the table pushes her playfully, "Pffft, dreaming about math again? You're such a dork, Aurora."

Aurora folds her arms while turning her head away, "I'm not a dork! And it wasn't a math dream!" She turns back to frown at her sister, "It was so different from a math dream!"

Their father looks up from his newspaper, "Girls, girls! Quit your fighting and eat your breakfast." He sips from his coffee mug after shaking his head. He has dark skin with extremely dark brown short, curly hair and a small beard. He is wearing a light blue collared shirt with a black tie, black belt, dark blue jeans and black boots.

Both daughters frowned before picking up their forks, "Sorry, Dad..." Though the older one sounded more apathetic...

The younger child quickly eats her food before standing up, "Okay! I gotta go now! I'll see you guys later!" Her sister rolled her eyes while she rushed off.

Her mother, however, stopped her, "Hold it! Aurora, honey. Your father and I wanted to talk to you about something." She continued when her daughter didn't speak, "I heard that the Mystery Shack has two new kids! Maybe you can use this opportunity to make some friends?"

Aurora slumped her shoulders, "Mother, I love you and I respect you. But I heard they're just visiting for the summer! What would be the point if they're just going to leave?"

The taller woman continued, "That is true but your father and I agree that it would be nice to see you with some new friends you like being around this summer."

The girl bunched up her shoulders with a frown, "But I already have Atlas!"

Her father spoke up while putting his hand on his wife's, "Yes but Atlas is your only friend. We just think it would be better for you to make some more friends this summer. You think you can do that for us?"

The girl taps her foot on the ground, clearly uncomfortable, "Mmmm... Okay! I... I'll try." She holds onto the doorknob for a few seconds before turning it, "I gotta go! I'll see you guys later."

She walks out the door to see a plump man with dark skin in a tan uniform, driving a sheriff's car. Accompanying him is a tall, lanky man in a matching uniform and sheriff's hat.

Her mother walks out the door and shouts, "Hey Blubby! You're fine bringing Aurora to your house for the night, right? She's been wanting to visit Nana for a while!"

The sheriff frowns at the woman, "Hey! Don't call me that! Gosh, forty years and my sister STILL calls me that riduclous name..."

The lankey man smiles with a laugh, "Hehe! Yeah, she sure is funny sometimes!"

Aurora smiles while approaching the car, "Hey, Uncle Blubs! Hello, Mr. Durland!"

Blubs shook his head before unlocking the car, "Hey Aurora... You still wanna go to that Mystery Shack place?"

The girl shook her head before opening the door, "Yes please!"

With that, the man nodded while the girl got into the car. They then drove down the road, starting to get on their way to the Mystery Shack.

...

Meanwhile, at the house across the street, a woman's voice could be heard shouting up the stairs, "Atlas! Come on, it's time to wake up! You gotta go on your route now!"

The boy in his comfy bed, Atlas, hugs his pillow before he begins to open his eyes at the sound of his mother's voice. He slowly pushes himself up while in his oversized green t-shirt with a red berry on it, soft black shorts and white socks. He rubs his eyes before he gets changed into a white t-shirt, a green and gray hoodie, longer black pants and white shoes. He walks into the bathroom to put his silver earrings on.

The child briefly swiped a comb through his dark brown hair to fix up his box cut hairstyle before walking down the stairs. He waves to his mom before grabbing a toaster pastry, "Hey Mom! How's your article coming along? Where's Dad? He causing trouble?"

His mother shakes her head while holding a small baby, "It's getting there. It would help if your brother wasn't so fussy this morning. He's normally so well behaved." She points to the living room while still typing, "No, your father is just meditating on the couch again. Right over there." The woman is blonde with pale skin while wearing a green shirt, dark brown pants and black boots.

The boy nods his head before poking his little brother's belly, "I see, is Dad not playing with you? How do YOU feel about that, Cypress?" His tone and tickle made the baby giggle at him, which in turn made Atlas smile. The baby is chubby and has darker skin than him with an even darker patch of hair on his head. He is wearing a dark green onesie lined with a lime green and a picture of a tree on the front.

A taller man enters the kitchen while rubbing his forehead. His face holds a constant smile while his eyes stare blankly, "That was a nice meditation session. Hello family! Oh, hey Atlas! Are you about to go on your route?" The man has brown skin and dark brown hair stylized in a ponytail. His shirt is a dark green collared shirt with rolled sleeves, black pants and dark brown shoes.

The child grabs the bundle of wood from the kitchen counter, "You bet, Dad! You know, you always know which tree makes for the best firewood. No wonder Mr. Dan always works with you!"

His father's smile "Aw shucks, don't you know how to flatter people? Okay, you can be out late but not too late!"

Atlas pumps his fist before finishes eating his toaster pastry before heading for the door, "I'll see you later, Mom! You too, Dad!"

He then waves to the infant before fully walking through the door, "Bye baby Cypress!"

The boy walks out of the door and takes a hold of the lime green dirt bike. He wheels it to the sidewalk before placing the bundle into the basket in the front of his bike. He then gets on and peddles away from his home...

...

Back to Aurora, she is still sitting in her uncle's car. She taps her feet on the bottom of the car before she spots her friend riding down the street on his bike.

Durland snaps his fingers, "Oh there's that one boy! The one with the fancy earrins'! Dah, what was that name of his, Blubs? Help me out here... Trunk? No, no, it was Apollo! No, uhhh..."

Blubs shrugged his shoulders, "Pretty sure it was something like Axel."

Aurora spoke up from her seat, "That's Atlas! He's been my best friend since... We were way smaller! You guys remember!"

Durland smiles while snapping his finger at her, "Yes! Atlas! That was his name!"

The girl smiles at her family member, "Uncle Blubs, can we pick him up?"

The sheriff rubbed his chin while still driving, "Hmmm... He looks like he's on his route but sure." He parks the car and beeps at the boy on his bike to get his attention.

Aurora is heard shouting from the car, "Atlas! Come on! Get in the car! Uncle Blubs is gonna take us to the Mystery Shack!"

The boy in green smiles before putting his bike in the truck of the car, "Aw sweet! I gotta head there anyway!" He sat next to his friend and buckled his seatbelt, "So, how was your day yesterday?"

The girl shrugged her shoulders, "Eh, played some Dungeons, Dungeons and more Dungeons by myself but meh. That's a regular day for me. But Atlas! I had a super weird dream last night!"

Atlas pointed his finger at her, "Oh like the one about the talking blue diamond."

Aurora shook her head, "Actually, that one was about a talking blue square."

The boy shrugged his shoulders, "Same difference! It just turned to the side!" He takes a piece of paper out of his pocket, "Speaking of something super weird! I found this note jammed in the wheel of my dirt bike!" He opens the slightly crinkled note and reads it, "'You are such a cutie with those silver earrings. Will you be my summer romance?' Yes, Definitely, Absolutely? Signed Anonymous?!'" He turns back to his friend, "I don't even know an 'Anonymous!'"

The girl shook her head again, "Atlas, Anonymous isn't name."

Atlas blinked, "Oh right, I totally knew that." He then folded his arms, "Still, it's a bit creepy."

On their way to the shack, they pass by a nearby hill. Which was where a tall, teenaged girl was sitting under a tree in the sun. The girl had black hair cut at just above her shoulders, very pale skin with a mole on her right cheek, a long-sleeved black shirt, black pants, a black belt with a silver buckle and light blue and white sneakers. She was also wearing a pink, unbuttoned overshirt and a black choker. Interestingly, the sleeve of her pink shirt had a red heart symbol with a stitch mark on it.

Aurora smiles upon recognizing her, "Oh! And there's Juniper! Uncle Blubs, can we pick her up too?"

Blubs slumps his shoulders, "Your babysitter? How many people do you want me to pick up today?" He sighs when he hears both her and his partner exhale, "Okay fine. But only because you're both too gosh dang cute to say no to."

The girl smiles at him from her seat, "Yes! Thank you, Uncle Blubby!"

The man shakes his head, "Hey, watch it."

Aurora giggles at him, "Whoops! Haha, sorry! Uncle Blubs!"

Atlas opens the door and shouts, "Come on, Juniper! Get in the caaaaaar!"

This started the teenager, making her jump, "Oh good gosh!" She clutches her shirt, "Dang it, Atlas! This is the third heart attack this week!"

The boy lets out a loud laugh, "Hehehe, sorry! Come on, Juniper!"

The teen giggles at him before climbing into the backseat, "Okay, okay! You guys came just in time anyway. I forgot my sunscreen at home." She shyly waves to the two officers before smiling at the duo, "Mystery Shack."

Both children smile back at her, "Mystery Shack!"

Juniper nods her head before relaxing in her seat, "Sweet."

...

Eventually, the car stops in front of the old shack that stayed deep in the woods. Even though he shakes his head at the sight of the shack, the man lets his niece leave the car.

Blubs smiles at the girl, "We'll be back to pick you up after our shift tonight. You have a good day and if you get into trouble, you know to find a phone and call me, right? I love you."

Aurora nods her head, "I do, Uncle Blubs! But I'll be just fine like I always am! I'll see you later! Love you!"

She sighes while walking next to her childhood friend.

The boy in the hoodie holds in the bundle in one of his hands while wheeling his bike to the side of the shack, "Did your parents talk to you about getting more friends again? Maybe those new kids will want to be your friend."

Aurora folded her arms while still walking to the shack, "It's okay, Atlas. I'll be just fine even if they don't want to be friends with me."

Once they walk inside, a pair of twins turn their heads towards the opened door. The boy had short but messy brown hair while wearing a green and brown cap with a star on it. He was wearing a red shirt with a blue vest, gray shorts and black sneakers. The girl was wearing a matching red sweater with a magenta stripe wrapping around her midsection. Her hair was long, brown and combed along with a small heart shape resting on the top near her magenta headband. She was also wearing a green skirt, a green earring shaped like a feather, white socks and black slippers.

The girl quickly runs to the both of them, "Oh my GOSH! You! You're that boy!"

The boy twin and Aurora both raise their eyebrows in confusion. The male speaks up, "Uh, what boy?"

The girl in the sweater walks around, "The boy who owns a dirt bike! I haven't seen one up close before! You think I can try to ride it sometime?" "Wait, wait, hang on!" She stuck out her hand, "I'm Mabel!"

Atlas shakes both the twins' hands, "Well, hey, I'm Atlas! Lumber delivery boy! And uh, to answer your question... Sure!" He places a pile of lumber wrapped in white paper onto the counter that is being leaned on by a redheaded teenaged clerk.

The taller teen walked inside the building, "Hey Wendy!"

Wendy picked up her head from the magazine she was reading, "Juniper! Took you long enough to get here, man!" She playfully punches her friend on the arm.

The other teen smiles while pulling up a stool, "Pfffft, eh. I forgot my sunscreen at home, then these two knuckleheads saved me." She gestured to the pair of friends.

This made the redhead laugh, "You'd think you'd remember that stuff when you burn like I do."

The boy with the brown cap rubs the back of his neck, "Uh... So, I'm Dipper. What's your name?"

The girl with her hair in buns awkwardly taps her foot on the ground, "I'm Aurora. I'm mostly just here to talk to Stan about something." She pulls the grappling hook out of her overall pocket.

Dipper's eyes widened at this, "Woah! You made that all by yourself?"

Aurora smiled, proud of herself, "Sure did!" She then blinks while gesturing to her friend, "Oh and Atlas said he found a letter attached to his dirt bike, would you happen to know anything about it?"

Atlas takes the letter out of his pocket, "I got this weird letter. It was... Kinda creepy." He showed the letter to the new boy around his age.

Dipper blinks at the letter, "Yikes, sorry to hear that, man..." He takes a second to scan the letter, recognizing the handwriting, "But I have a feeling I know who did that." He shakes his head at his sister, "Mabel, do you need to flirt with every guy you meet?"

Mabel folds her arms, "I do not flirt with every guy I meet!"

The boy in the cap puts his hands on his hips, "Need I bring up the Mattress King again?"

The girl with the braces looks away from the group, "Mock all you want, brother! But I got a good feeling about this summer! I wouldn't be surprised if the man of my dreams walked through that door right now!"

A man in a tuxedo, glasses and a fez walks through the museum door holding arrow signs and a Pitt Cola can. He burps but it gets caught in his throat, "Oh! Oh, not good. Ow!"

The brunette gags before looking away, "Aww! Why?!"

The rest of the children begin to laugh, "Ha ha ha!"

The man straightens his back, "All right, all right, look alive, people. I need someone to go hammer up these signs in the spooky part of the forest."

Dipper quickly raises his hand, "Not it!"

Mabel picks up her hand too, "Not it!"

The rather chubby man nearby raises his hand while drilling a shelf, "Uh, also not it!" He has buckteeth, larges pieces of peach fuzz on his upper lip and chin. He is wearing a dark brown cap, a dark green t-shirt with a black question mark on it, khaki shorts, knee high socks and dark brown shoes.

The man in the fez frowns at him, "Nobody asked you, Soos."

Soos smiles at his boss, "I know and I'm comfortable with that." He then takes a chocolate bar out of his pocket and eats it.

Aurora raises her hand while picking up her friend's hand, "We are also not it!"

The older man frowns at the both of them, "You two don't even work here!"

The girl with the buns raises her hand towards him, "Not yet, Stan Pines! My potential business partner!"

Stan shakes his head, "Not this again! I've told you before, Aurora. We are not becoming any sort of business partners."

The child frowns at him while holding up the grappling hook, "But at least my gadgets work and they're authentic! Much more authentic than the junk you have in here." She folds her arms, "Come on, Mr. Pines! We can collaborate!"

The older man adjusts the signs in his arms, "And split the profits? ...Not to mention potentially get in trouble considering you're not even a teenager yet." He whispers to the child, "And your uncle is a cop."

Aurora puts the grappling hook down on the table, "Aw man, that's all true... But!"

Stan shakes his head, "No and that's my final answer, Aurora." He then looks at the teenager at the counter, "Wendy, I need you to put up this sign!"

Wendy winks at her friend before she pretends to reach for signs, "I would... But I, ugh... Can't, ugh, reach it, ugh..."

This doesn't fail to make Juniper laugh while she sits next to her. Atlas quickly covers his mouth before he could chuckle. Mabel does laugh while standing next to the boy in the hoodie.

The boss frowns at all of them, "I'd fire all of you if I could." He then looks at the children, "Okay, let's make it..." He points between the twins, "Eenie, meenie, miney..." His finger stops at Dipper, "You!"

The boy in the cap slumps his shoulders, "Aw, what? Grunkle Stan, whenever I'm in those woods... I feel like I'm being watched."

Stan rolls his eyes, "Ugh, this again."

Aurora climbs up to sit on the counter, "Again?"

Dipper folds his arms, "I'm telling you, something weird is going on in this town. Just today, my mosquito bites spelled out 'BEWARE.'"

The girl in the overalls nods her head, "Oooooh, that's what he means." She squints at the boy's bug bites, "Wait a minute..."

The old man looks at Dipper's arm, "That says 'BEWARB.'" He shakes his head while Dipper scratches his arm, "Look, kid. The whole 'monsters in the forest' thing is just local legend."

Juniper speaks up, "Psssh, monsters here in Gravity Falls? Those totally don't exist!" Despite what she said, there was sweat sliding down her forehead.

Stan nods at the teenager, "Yeah! Exactly! It's all drummed up by guys like me to sell merch to guys like that."

He points at a chubby, sweaty man laughing while looking at a Stan-bobblehead's head bobble.

Stan gives Dipper the signs, "So quit being so paranoid!" This makes the boy sigh before he walks into the forest...

Atlas looks around the room, "Shooooould one of us go follow him or something?"

Mabel smiles before jumping up and down, "Oh! Oh! Me! Me! Pick me!" She even raises her hand with an excited smile.

Both kids jump back from her enthusiasm. The boy in the hoodie raises his hand, "Uh, sure! You can go, since he's your brother and all." He yells after she jumps into a sprint, "Just try not to get distracted on your way there!" He then laughs, "Haha and no boys either!"

The brunette yells back at him, "Haha! I can't hear you since I am too far away but I totally won't get distracted on my way!"

Atlas lets out a chuckle before his smile turned into a simple line, "...I have a bad feeling about this."

...

Now in a foggy forest with the leaves on the trees being blown by the wind...

Dipper frowns while picking up one of the signs, "Ugh, Grunkle Stan... Nobody ever believes anything I say." He puts one sign up on a tree that says 'To The Mystery Shack.' He starts to hammer a nail on another tree trunk but it makes a metallic sound once he hit it, "Huh?" He taps the tree with the hammer, which makes another metallic noise. He wipes away some dust and opens a secret window revealing a mechanical box with two control switches on top. He tests one switch but nothing happens and then he tries the other. Behind him, a hatch opens up in the ground. The boy walks to the hole while a goat nearby bleats and runs away, "What the..."

The brunette looks inside the hatch, and there is a thick tattered book. It is fully covered in dust with multiple cobwebs and scurrying millipedes. He picks the book up and blows the dust off the front cover, revealing a gold six-fingered left handprint with a number "3" written on its palm. He places it on the ground and checks for people watching. He opens the book with the words 'Property of-' on the first page and an eye-glass is in it. He looks at the eye-glass and puts it down.

He flips another page and begins reading aloud, "'It's hard to believe it's been six years since I began studying the strange and wondrous secrets of Gravity Falls, Oregon.'" He flips through the journal's pages of floating eyeballs, giant vampire bats and gnomes, "What is all this?" He stops at a page that says 'TRUST NO ONE!' and starts reading, "Unfortunately, my suspicions have been confirmed. I'm being watched! I must hide this book before HE finds it. Remember... In Gravity Falls, there is no one you can trust.'" He then closes the journal, "No one you can trust..."

Mabel jumps up behind Dipper while his back is on a log, "HELLO!"

The boy jumps up from his seat, "AH!"

The girl looks down at the book, "What'cha readin'? Some nerd thing?"

Dipper hides the journal behind back, "Uh, uh... It's nothing!

Mabel imitates her brother, "Uh, uh... It's nothing!" She lets out a laugh, "What? Are you actually not gonna show me?"

The goat walks back to the siblings and starts to nibble the edge of the journal.

The boy looks at his sister, "Uhhh..." He then glances at the goat still eating the book, "Let's go somewhere private."

...

Meanwhile, the two friends are still in the Mystery Shack's gift shop. They are relaxing with the two teenagers, who are both sitting on stools.

Aurora still sits on the table when she turns her head to her friend, "So like do you ever feel like you're being watched in the forest, Atlas? You do enjoy taking walks there."

The boy in the green hoodie shrugs his shoulders, "Yeah but there's a lot of animals in Gravity Falls. Sure, I've seen some with deformities. I've seen a bear with multiple heads once. But I'm not sure if I've ever seen anything TOO extreme there."

The girl in the overalls folds her arms, "...A bear with multiple heads isn't too extreme?"

Atlas then makes a shrug face, "Have you not heard of CONJOINED twins, Aurora? Hmmm?"

Aurora looks like she is about to argue before frowning, "...Touché Atlas, touché." She folds her arms before turning her head to the cashier, "So, Wendy, what are you gonna do for the day?"

The redhead shrugs and takes her feet off the counter, "Eh, my job. It's pretty boring but..." She pulls Juniper in closer and ruffles her friend's hair, "I got Juniper here to keep me company so we're probably gonna have some of our own."

The black haired girl giggles before playfully pushing her friend away, "Wendyyyyy!"

Atlas frowns before slumping his shoulders, "Aw man, what about us?"

Wendy shrugs again while grabbing her friend again, "I'm sure the twins will want to hang out with you guys when they get back."

The girl looks down at the grappling hook in her front pocket, "...Man, I hope so..."

...

Now inside the Mystery Shack, both the twins are sitting in the living room. Specifically, the duo sits on the floor together.

Dipper smiles while looking down at the book, "It's amazing! Grunkle Stan said I was being paranoid! But according to this book, Gravity Falls has this secret dark side..." He opens the book wider to show his sister a page.

Mabel playfully pushes her brother, "Whoa! Shut. Up!"

The boy smiles while flipping through the pages, "And get this! After a certain point, the pages just stop... Like the guy who was writing it... Mysteriously disappeared." The doorbell rings, "Who's that?"

The brunette girl smiles at him while standing up, "Well, time to spill the beans." She knocks over a can of beans on the table, "Boop! Beans! This girl's got a date! Woot woot!" She falls backward into the chair while giggling.

Dipper raises an eyebrow at her, "Let me get this straight... In the half hour I was gone, you already found a boyfriend?"

Mabel shrugs her shoulders, "What can I say? I guess I'm just..." She starts waving her sweater sleeves loosely, "IRRESISTIBLLLLE!" The doorbell rings twice before Mabel runs towards the door, "Oh. Coming!"

The brother sits down in chair and begins to read through journal. However, then his great uncle walks inside the living room.

Stan sees the boy reading and raises an eyebrow, "What'cha reading there, slick?"

Dipper raises his head from the chair, "Oh!" He quickly hides the book under the seat cushion and grabs a random magazine, "I was just catching up on... Uh..." She sees the cover of the magazine, "'Gold Chains For Old Men Magazine'?"

The old man points at the magazine, "That's a good issue."

Mabel runs back into the room with a taller boy following her, "Hey, family! Say hello to my new boyfriend!"

Her boyfriend turns to see both the men. He has super pale skin, dark brown hair covering his left eye, a visible fang and red liquid seen on his right cheek. He is wearing a torn black zipped hoodie, torn dark gray jeans and black shoes. The boy flicks his head towards the guys, "'Sup?"

Dipper gives the boy a weak wave, "Hey..."

Stan nods at his great niece's new boyfriend, "How's it hanging?"

The brunette smiles while looking at her boyfriend, "We met at the cemetery. He's really deep." She feels his arm, "Oh. Little muscle there! That's uh... What a surprise..."

The boy twin narrows his eyes at the boy, "So, what's your name?"

The new boyfriend starts struggling to speak, "Uh... Normal... MAN!"

Mabel smiles again, "He means 'Norman'."

Dipper narrows his eyes at the taller kid, "Are you bleeding, Norman?" He points at his face, where a red liquid is dripping down his chin.

Norman briefly looks at the liquid before looking back at the boy, "It's jam."

The girl twin gasps, "I love jam!" She gestures to both herself and him, "Look! At! This!"

The taller boy opens his hand for the girl, "So, you wanna go hold hands or... Whatever?"

Mabel starts to giggle, "Oh, oh, my goodness." She rushes out the door, "Don't wait up!"

Norman points at Stan and Dipper before he runs after Mabel. He manages to hit the wall several times on his way out.

Dipper glares at the taller boy while thinking to himself in his head, 'There was something about Norman that wasn't right. I decided to call in some back up...'

The boy in the cap tries to kick in the door to the gift shop but he fails, stumbling backwards. Once he gets back up, he opens the door and points to the two kids still inside, "You and you! You both seem relatively normal! I could use a few extra hands this time."

Atlas looks blankly at the other boy, "...I feel like at least one of us should be offended by that but eh. Whatever." He waves his hand at his best friend, "Come on, Aurora! Let's go do fun, potentially dangerous, stuff!"

The girl in the overalls looks around awkwardly before she cheers, "I... Uh, yeah! Sure! Yippie?" She awkwardly puts her hands down before raising her eyebrows, "So, uh, what are we doing?"

Dipper folds his arms, "We're going to spy on my sister and her 'boyfriend'." He moved his fingers up and down to emphasize the quotation.

Aurora cheers with a confused face, "Ooooh... Uh, yay?"

The boy in the green hoodie nods his head before pumping his fists, "Yeah, that's the spirit! Yay!"

The girl with black hair whispers to herself before following the two, "...Is this what friends do?"

The boy in the brown caps thinks to himself while they make their way to the attic, 'I then decided to consult the journal..."

Dipper, Aurora and Atlas all sit in the attic together. The two friends peek over the boy's shoulders while he speaks, "This is the journal that will prove that there is definitely something weird going on between both the town AND Mabel's new 'boyfriend'. I mean, come on! He had red liquid dripping down his chin!"

Aurora nods her head at this, "Gotta agree, that does sound suspicious. Plus, I don't think either of us know a 'Norman'."

The boy twin points at her, "AHA! Thank you Aurora! I knew you guys thought he was suspicious! Now let's see..." He then reads aloud from the book, "Known for their pale skin and bad attitudes, these creatures are often mistaken for... Teenagers?! Beware Gravity Falls' nefarious..." They all gasp.

He flips to a page titled 'The Undead' and on it is a picture of a zombie. The picture of the zombie becomes Norman in Dipper's head. The imaginary image of Norman flicks his head at him, "'Sup."

Dipper shouts while his two friends cover their ears, "ZOMBIE!"

The echoes throughout the house when Aurora and Atlas uncover their ears. Both of them look at each other before looking at the boy in the cap, horrified.

...

Meanwhile, Stan is standing in the bathroom. He looks up from the mirror, "Somebody say "crombie"? What is that, crombie? That's not even a word. You're losing your mind, Stan..."

...

Back in the attic, the three look out the window to see Norman walking towards Mabel with outstretched arms. He starts to groan while the smaller girl sits on a log.

Mabel simply smiles at him, "I like you!"

Dipper starts to bang on the window, "Oh, no! Mabel! No, no, Mabel, watch out!"

Norman puts his hands around Mabel's neck, "Huh, huh!"

The boy twin bangs on the window even harder, "AAAAAHHHHH!"

Aurora jumps back and covers her eyes, "I don't wanna see her die!"

Atlas rushes back and runs to tackle the window, preparing to crash through it.

Outside, the taller boy removes his arms from her neck, revealing a white flower necklace, "Huh!"

Mabel gasps with a smile, "Daisies? You scallywag!"

Inside the shack, the boy in the green hoodie skids to a halt but still smacks his forehead into the window. His friend in the overalls helps him up after uncovering her eyes, "...Maybe, we're overthinking it?"

Dipper scratches his head towards her after he turns away from the window. He thinks to himself, 'Is my sister really dating a zombie, or am I just going nuts?'

Soos' voice can be heard in the attic, "It's a dilemma, to be sure." The children gasp and turn to see Soos fixing a lightbulb next to them, "I couldn't help but overhear you three screaming in this empty attic."

The boy twin walks up to the handyman, "Soos, you've seen Mabel's boyfriend. He's gotta be a zombie, right?"

Aurora runs up to the man, "Yeah! You gotta admit, he kinda gives off a creepy vibe! Right, Atlas?"

The boy with short hair nods his head, "Oh yeah, total creep vibes."

The adult screws the lightbulb inside the notch, "Hmm... How many brains didja see the guy eat?"

Dipper looks down at the ground, "Zero."

The girl rubs the back of her neck guiltily while Atlas turns and whistles.

Soos nods his head, "Look, dudes, I believe you. I'm always noticing weird stuff in this town. Like the mailman? Pretty sure that dude's a werewolf." He thinks back on the mailman, his body completely covered in hair while he does his job.

Aurora whispers to Atlas, "...Keep a pin in that for later." The boy nods while putting his hands in his pockets.

The handyman puts his hands on his hips, "But ya gotta have evidence, dudes. Otherwise, people are gonna think you're a major league cuckoo clock."

Dipper sighs, "As always, Soos, you're right." Both his friends nod in agreement.

The adult looks into the distance, "My wisdom is both a blessing and a curse."

Stan shouts from the bottom of the stairs, "Soos! The portable toilets are clogged again!"

Soos adjusts his hat, "I am needed elsewhere." He walks backwards to leave the room.

Atlas is about to say something when his friend suddenly stops him.

She puts her hand on his hand, "NOPE! No, we are not even going to think about that. That's gross, Atlas!" She turns her head to their newest friend, "Dipper? What do you want to do?"

Dipper nods his head, "We continue the investigation! My sister could be in trouble. It's time to we get some evidence!" His friends nod in agreement.

...

The team of three start to film the couple in the park. The boy twin holds the camera first while the duo are focused on each other.

Mabel throws a frisbee at her boyfriend's head, who is hit with it and he falls over. They both laugh in response.

Dipper stops looking through camera and glares at Norman.

Later that afternoon, Aurora records Norman breaking through a door window to open it from the inside and letting Mabel inside the diner.

The boy in the black hoodie stumbles around and crashes while trying to follow Mabel.

Dipper looks out from behind a menu in the diner. Atlas shakes his head while sitting next to him.

Then, Atlas holds up the camera to record Mabel and Norman frolicking in a field together.

The taller boy falls into an open grave, then crawls out... He holds his hand up first, screaming.

Both pairs of the couple pause and start to laugh.

Dipper pokes his head out of a nearby bush he was hiding in with Aurora, "I've seen enough."

Later, the three kids enter the Mystery Shack and makes their way to the living room. The boy prepares to go upstairs, "You guys don't have to come in with me but I thank you for teaming up with me. Now I just have to convince my sister that her boyfriend is a zombie..."

Atlas nods his head while putting his hands in his pockets, "Sure thing, man!"

Aurora smiles while waving to him, "Good luck, Dipper!"

...

The boy enters the room he shares with his sister. Mabel is brushing her hair while sitting on her bed.

Dipper folds his arms when he approaches her, "Mabel. We've gotta talk about Norman!"

The sister hops off the bed, "Isn't he the best? Check out this giant smooch mark he gave me!" She turns her face to show her cheek, which has a large red spot on it.

The brother jumps back, "Ah!"

The brown haired girl giggles in response, "Haha! Gullible! It was just an accident with the leaf blower!"

She briefly thinks back on her time in the backyard with the leaf blower. She puts a picture of Norman on leaf blower's tube, "Kissing practice!" She moves closer to leaf blower but then it sucks in the picture and then sticks to her lips. She runs around in a panic, "AHHH! Turn it off! Turn it off!"

Back to the present...

Mabel smiles at the memory, "That was fun."

Dipper shows her the journal, "No, Mabel, listen! I'm trying to tell you that Norman is not what he seems!"

The girl gasps, "You think he might be a vampire? That would be so awesome!"

The boy twin shakes his head, "Guess again, sister. SHA-BAM!" He holds book open, which is on the page about Gnomes.

The sister jumps back, "Agh!"

The brother in the cap looks at the page and sees his mistake, "Oh, wait. I-I'm sorry..." He flips to a page about the Undead, "Sha-bam!"

Mabel folds her arms, "A zombie? That is not funny, Dipper!"

Dipper puts the journal back into his vest pocket, "I'm not joking! It all adds up! The bleeding... The limp... He never blinks! Have you noticed that?!"

The girl twin folds her arms, "Maybe he's blinking when you're blinking!"

The male twin shakes his head, "Mabel, remember what the book said about Gravity Falls? 'Trust no one!'"

The brunette stands up from the bed "But you've been hanging out with your new friends all day! And, what about me, huh? Why can't you trust me?" She puts on two earrings n the shape of stars, "Beep-bop!"

The boy begins to shake her, "Well.. Well, that's different! We're just working together! Mabel, he's gonna eat your brain!"

Mabel pushes him away and glares at him, "More like you roped them into it! Dipper, listen to me! Norman and I are going on a date at five o'clock!" She pushes him again, "And I'm gonna be ADORABLE! And he's gonna be DREAMY!" She fully pushes her brother out of their room.

Dipper frowns when he is pushed out of the room, "Wait! B-b-but-"

The girl twin frowns back at him, "And I am not gonna let you ruin it with one of your crazy CONSPIRACIES!" She then slams the door.

The boy sighs and sits down on the floor, "...What am I gonna do?"

...

Both Atlas and Aurora hear some of the shouting and the door slam shut.

They both shared a look before the boy spoke up, "You think it went well?"

When they didn't hear Dipper come down the stairs, the girl shook her head, "Not likely. Definitely sounded like my sister when she gets angry..."

...

Later in the day, it is now 5:00 PM. The doorbell rings and the whole shack hears it.

Mabel pulls on her purple sweater while she excitedly races downstairs, "Coming!" She smiles when she sees Norman, "Hey, Norman. How do I look?" She shows off her sparkling sweater with a cat's head and the words 'MEOW WOW!' on it.

Norman smiles at her, "Shiny..."

Mabel smiles at her boyfriend, "You always know what to say!" She then walks off with him.

Dipper starts watching the video the group has collected, "Soos was right. We don't have any real evidence..." He plays the video shows Mabel teaching Norman hopscotch, but he ends up falling over.

Aurora frowns at this, "Yeah..."

The boy twins fast forwards to Mabel and Norman with Norman's arm around Mabel, "I guess I can be kind of paranoid sometimes and—" He then sees the tape, Norman's hand falls off which makes him glance around. He then reattaches it. Dipper raises his eyebrows at this, "Wait, WHAT?!"

The two friends gasp at the paused image. Aurora covers her eyes with her hands, "Oh my gosh!" Atlas jumps backwards before walking closer to the video, "Holy tree sap!"

Dipper rewinds the tape and watches it again, he screams and tips the chair backwards, "I was right! We were right! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Come on!" He races outside the room, "Grunkle Stan, Grunkle Stan! Grunkle Stan!"

He is quickly followed by the pair of friends.

...

Stan stands on a stage in front of a bunch of tourists outside the gift shop. He speaks to the crowd, "And here we have Rock that looks like a Face Rock... The Rock that looks like a Face!"

A hillbilly raises his hand, "Does it look like a rock?"

The con man shakes his head, "No, it looks like a face."

A rather chubby tourist raises his hand, "Is it a face?"

Stan rubs his forehead, "It's a rock that looks like a face!"

Dipper jumps up and down while waving his arms, "Over here! Grunkle Stan!"

Aurora tries to raise her hand above the boy's, "Hey! Mr. Stan!"

Atlas begins to shout, "Staaaaaan!"

The older man puts his hands on his hips, unable to hear the children over the crowd, "For the fifth time, it's-it's not an actual face!"

Dipper grimaces before shouting, "Errrgh!"

He rushes out of the room and is followed by his teammates.

...

Meanwhile, the couple are enjoying their date in the woods...

Mabel smiles while sitting on a fallen tree, "Finally, we're alone."

Norman speaks ominously, "Yes... Alone..."

...

Now back to the Mystery Shack, Dipper looks inside the gift shop for anything to help them save his sister.

Aurora spots a crowbar leaning against the vending machine, "Maybe this can help!" She attempts to lift the black crowbar, however, she struggles. She stops trying to lift it up after three attempts, "Nope, never mind. I forgot I have the muscles of a newborn." Instead, she grabs the grappling hook she left on the counter.

Dipper frowns at her, "It's okay, I got weak nerd arms too. Atlas, you got anything?" He turns his head when he sees Wendy drive up in a golf cart with Juniper and runs over to her, "Wendy! Wendy, Wendy! We need to borrow the golf cart so we can save my sister from a zombie!"

The tall redhead gives Dipper the key and walks off with a wink, "Try not to hit any pedestrians."

Juniper begins to laugh before walking off with her, "Pfft, you're soooooo responsible."

Wendy playfully punches her on the arm, "Pssssh, shut up, man. Come on, let's go see if we can make one of the bobbleheads move while throwing popcorn." This makes her friend pump her fist before walking inside.

Atlas walks over with his dirt bike and hops onto it, "There's not enough room in the cart for me but I got my bike! Let's do this rescue mission!"

Dipper nods and jumps into the cart. He smiles when Aurora sits next to him and buckled her seatbelt. He starts to drive the cart but they is stopped by the handyman.

Soos smiles at the children, "Dudes, it's me, Soos! This is for the zombies." He hands the girl a shovel.

Aurora raises an eyebrow at him while grabbing the shovel, "Thank you." She takes the grappling hook out of her pocket to put it on her lap.

The taller man then holds up a baseball bat, "And this is in case you see a piñata."

Dipper takes the bat from him, "Uh... Thanks?" He quickly hands it to Aurora while before he drives off. Atlas peddles after them on his bike.

Soos shouts at the group on their way out, "Better safe than sorry!"

...

Now, back to the couple in the woods...

Norman frowns before taking in a breath, "Uh, Mabel, now that we've gotten to know each other, there's..." He exhales, "...There's something I should tell you..."

Mabel sighs dramatically, "Oh, Norman, you can tell me anything!" She smiles when she runs her thoughts in her head, 'Please be a vampire, please be a vampire!'

Norman rubs the back of his head, "Okay, just... Just don't freak out, okay? Just... Just keep an open mind, be cool!" He unzips his hoodie and throws it off...

...Only to reveal five gnomes standing on top of each other, they are all hearing pointy red hats, blue long sleeved shirts, dark blue overalls and brown shoes.

The top gnome speaks, "Is this weird? Is this too weird? Do you need to sit down?"

The girl simply stares at the gnomes in total shock...

The top gnome rubs the back of his head, "R-r-right, I'll explain. So! We're gnomes! First off. Get that one outta the way..."

Mabel blinks at him, still shocked, "Uh..."

The tiny man introduces himself, "I'm Jeff and here we have Carson, Steve, Jason and... I'm sorry, I always forget your name." He looks down at the "foot" of their fake human.

The gnome with the fluffy gray beard smiles with his eyes crossed, "Shmebulock!"

Jeff snaps his fingers at him, "Shmebulock! Yes!" He watches when Mabel sits down on a rock and slaps her head. He still smiles at her, "Anyways, long story short, us gnomes have been lookin' for a new queen! Right, guys?"

All the gnomes except Jeff start to chant at the same time, "Queen! Queen! Queen!"

The tiny man nods his head at the girl, "Heh. So whaddya say?" He taps Steve with his foot and the gnomes work together to make their fake body kneel in a proposing fashion. Jeff opens a small case to reveal a diamond ring, "Will you join us in holy matri-gnome-y? Matri... Matri-mo-ny! Bleahh! Can't talk today!"

Mabel shakes her head, "Look... I'm sorry, guys. You're really sweet but... I'm a girl and you're gnomes and it's like, what?! Yikes..."

Jeff nods his head, "We understand. We'll never forget you, Mabel..." The gnomes all look sad and Mabel smiles. But then the leader lifts his head again, "Because we're gonna kidnap you."

The girl's eyes widen, "Huh?!"

The leader of the Gnomes then starts to snarl like a beast and jumps at her. Which causes the girl to scream...

...

Meanwhile, the older girls are relaxing inside the gift shop. Wendy kicks her feet up on the table while Juniper sits on another stool. She is reading the magazine Wendy was reading earlier before a thought entered her brain.

The girl with black hair looks up from the magazine, "So, like, shooooould we go check on the kids?"

The redhead shrugs her shoulders, "Nah man, they're fine. Probably just playing some game in the forest or something." She holds up the keys to the golf cart, "...Wanna go get ice cream?"

Juniper quickly stands up, "In town? You bet!" She smiles while following Wendy outside the shack, "Best day ever!"

...

Back to the woods, the brother drives recklessly while Aurora hangs onto the weapons with one hand and the cart's metal beam with her other one. Atlas follows behind them on his dirt bike, hopping over logs.

Dipper shouts while pressing the cart's gas peddle, "Don't worry, Mabel! We'll save you from that zombie!"

Mabel's voice can be heard throughout the forest, "Help!"

Aurora raises her voice while gripping the weapons, "She's getting louder! We're almost there!"

The boy twin takes a turn with the cart, "Hold on!" The sudden turn causes the girl to clutch the metal beam next to her.

He drives down a deep underground tunnel to the gnomes' hideout, followed by Atlas on the bike. They all see the gnomes trying to tie down Mabel with rope.

Jeff shakes his head, "The more you struggle, the more awkward this is gonna be for everybody!" He begins to instruct his brethren, "Just, haha, okay... Get her arm there, Steve!"

Mabel raises her arm while Steve bites on her sleeve, "Let go of me!" She ends up punching Steve off her sweater.

The small gnome bounces around and then stand upright. He begins to puke out a rainbow from the hit to his stomach.

The golf cart screeches while stopping. Dipper unbuckles his seatbelt while glaring at the creatures, "What the heck is going on here?!"

Aurora unbuckles her seatbelt before handing the shovel to the brunette. She holds up the grappling hook in the air with a worried look on her face.

Atlas slides and skids to a halt on his bike next to the cart. He quickly gets off and holds the bat in his hands, prepared to swing.

All of the gnomes turn and hiss at the new children.

The captured girl shouts while backing up, "Dipper! Norman turned out to be a bunch of gnomes! And they're total jerks! She wave her arms when a gnome climbs onto her hair, "Hair! Hair! Hair!"

The child with the buns shoots her grappling hook at the one in her hair, causing the gnome to fly off of her. The girl twin's eyes sparkle in amazement at the hook.

The creatures continue to hiss at them, now ready to pounce at any second.

Dipper raises his eyebrows, "Gnomes? Huh, I was way off. Sorry, guys." He takes the journal out of his vest pocket and reads the relevant page aloud, "'Gnomes: Little men of the Gravity Falls Forest. Weaknesses: Unknown.'"

Atlas shouts while still holding the bat, "Uh, dude!"

This causes Dipper to lower the book and he sees that the gnomes have managed to tie Mabel to the ground.

The girl manages to kick one of the gnomes away, "Aw, come on!"

The brunette walks up to the leader, "Hey, HEY! Let go of my sister!"

Jeff takes a step back from the brother, Oh! Ha ha, hey there! Um, you know, this is all really just a big misunderstanding. You see, your sister's not in danger. She's just marrying all one thousand of us and becoming our gnome queen for all eternity! Isn't that right, honey?"

Mabel gives him a nasty glare, "You guys are butt-faces!" Another gnome then covers her mouth, "Mmmm-MMMMM!"

Dipper holds up the shovel and points it at Jeff, "Give her back right now, or else!"

The leader shakes his head at the tool, "You think you can stop us with a little ragtag team, boy? You all have no idea what we're capable of! The gnomes are a powerful race! Do not trifle with the—"

The brother casually picks Jeff up with the shovel and tosses him away.

Jeff screams when he is flung away, "AH!" This causes a brawl to finally start between the two groups.

Atlas swings the bat at the gnomes, sending one flying through the air. He pumps his fist before swinging again, "Touchdown! Awesome!"

Aurora rubs her forehead in annoyance, "Atlas. I know you know it's a homerun, not a touchdown."

The boy in the green hoodie swings to strike another gnome, "...You're no fun sometimes. You know that?"

The gnomes surround Aurora, who backs away from the crowd. She looks around, "Oh uh, me? See, I do not hit people." She holds up the grappling hook in her hand, "This? It just grapple hooks things, sure, it occasionally hits a gnome off a girl's hair... But this!" She quickly jumps into the golf cart and puts her foot on the gas to ram into a few of the gnomes, "This definitely hurts people!"

This causes a few of the gnomes to fly into the air while Dipper cuts Mabel free with the shovel.

Mabel kicks a gnome away from her, "Yah!"

Atlas ushers both twins into the cart, "Go! Go! Go! We'll keep them busy over here!"

Dipper lets his sister into the cart first before facing them, "Wait, are you guys sure?!"

Aurora nods her head while taking a step behind her friend in green, "Just get Mabel out of here! We'll be fine!"

The boy gives the both of them a salute before climbing into the golf cart's driver seat. He looks at the girl expectingly, "Seatbelt!"

Mabel buckles in the seatbelt before her brother backs the vehicle up and drives away. He keeps his foot on the gas.

Jeff shouts angrily while pounding his fist onto the ground, "He's getting away with our queen! No, no, no!"

Atlas keeps his bat pointed at the leader of the gnomes, "Okay man, kidnapping someone is definitely not cool. Just walk away and we won't have to fight anymore!"

Jeff glares at him, "You've messed with the wrong creatures, kids!" He then stands up, "Gnomes of the forest... ASSEMBLE!"

Aurora's eyes widen while backing away, "Assemble what?"

Hearing Jeff's thunderous cry, hundreds of gnomes come out of giant mushrooms and trees to gather around Jeff in the middle. They stack themselves up and link hands, forming a pyramid with Jeff at the top.

Both the friends look up at the creature while it steps over them, "...Uh oh."

Meanwhile, Dipper drives the golf cart at full speed with his sister beside him. The girl looks behind the cart, "Hurry, before they come after us!"

The twin brother waves his hand, "I wouldn't worry about it. See their little legs? Those suckers are tiny!" He stops the cart when he hears a stomping sound... He sees the giant stacked gnome monster stops behind the cart.

Mabel's eyes widen at the sight of the creature, "Dang."

Both Atlas and Aurora follow on the boy's dirt bike. The girl stands on the axle on the bike's back wheels while the boy pedals quickly.

The child in overalls hangs onto her friend, "I am NEVER going into the forest alone EVER again!"

The boy nods his head while sweating, "You know what? That's fair."

Jeff shouts from the top of the stack. He is using gnomes' hats like levers, "All right, teamwork, guys Like we practiced!" The gnome monster raises its arms in the air while roaring.

Mabel pushes her brother's arm, "Move! MOVE!"

Dipper drives the cart away just when the gnomes smash their arm down. The monster's arm breaks on impact

Atlas kept peddling away but the wind from the giant monster's slam flings the bike into the air, "Hang on, Aurora!" Both preteens fall to the ground.

The gnomes run frantically back into position and they chase the kids again. Jeff screams, "Come back with our queen!"

Both the friends get back on the bike after recovering. Atlas peers ahead while peddling, "We'll never catch up in time!"

Aurora shakes her head while standing back on the "Yes we will!" She points the grappling hook and fires, "Grappling hook! Do your thing!" The hook twists around a tree and she pushes the button again, "Hold on and don't stop peddling!" The grappling hook tries to pull her in but she hangs on tightly.

The boy in the green hoodie shouts, "Woooooooooah! Don't worry, guys! We're coming!" The momentum from the hook trying to go back to the gun pulls them forward, making his bike move faster with his peddling.

Meanwhile, Mabel looks up from the cart, "It's getting closer!"

The giant throws several gnomes at the cart, who grab onto the vehicle tightly. A lot of the gnomes start to chew on the cart.

One hangs on the side of the cart and starts to climb towards the twins, "Haha!"

Mabel elbows that particular gnome off the cart and punches another. Shmebulock jumps onto the back of Dipper's head, who grabs him and slams him into the steering wheel out of annoyance.

Shmebulock slumps in pain, "Shmebulock..." He then falls off of the cart.

Another gnome jumps onto the cart and hops onto Dipper's face. He then starts to claw at the boy's face.

The girl shouts at the creature, "I'll save you, Dipper!" She starts to repeatedly punch the gnome on her brother's face. Eventually after the fourth punch, the gnome is flung off of him, taking the boy's hat in the process.

Dipper's head spins while dazed from the punches, "Thanks, Mabel...

Mabel smiles at her brother, "Don't mention it!"

The gnome monster then picks up tree and tosses it. It ends up landing in front of the twins' cart.

The girl points at the obstacle, "Look out!"

Dipper and Mabel both scream when they end up colliding with the tree, "AAAAAAHHHHHH!"

The cart overturns and lands next to the Mystery Shack.

Both twins manage to crawl out of the cart and towards the shack.

The gnome monster approaches them and reaches for the girl with his giant hand.

Dipper stands in front of his sister while holding the shovel, "Stay back, man!" He throws the shovel at the gnome giant.

The monster punches the shovel in mid-air and the impact breaks it in half.

The twins both hug each other while they scream, "Aaahhh!"

The boy looks at his sister, "Uh, where's Grunkle Stan?!"

Meanwhile, Stan is in the shack with a crowd full of tourists.

He holds up a circle with a black and white swirly pattern on a stick, "Behold! The world's most distracting object!" He pulls the string and rotates into a continuous spiral.

All the tourists focus on the object, "Oooh..."

Stan attempts to move his head but stops, "Just try to look away, you can't!" He takes a long pause, "I can't even remember what I was talking about..."

...

Meanwhile, Atlas peddles faster when he feels the momentum from the grappling hook slow down. He grips the handlebars tightly while getting closer, "Okay, Aurora! Hop off! I'm about to do something really really dangerous!" He glares when he continues to peddle, intending to hit the large creature, "AAAAAHHHH!"

Aurora quickly jumps off the bus and tumbles to the ground, landing on the grappling hook.

The boy in the green hoodie collides with the leg of the creature rather harshly. He only manages to make a small dent in the leg, sending a few gnomes flying. He falls off his, now bent in half, bike and lands on the ground with a thud.

The girl in the overalls rolls before looking at her injured friend, "Atlas!" She rushes to his side and clumsily picks him up, struggling to lift her friend's weight, "Atlas, are you okay?!"

The boy attempts to stand upright but could only clutch his head in pain, "Ugh... Did I get him?"

Aurora looks up at the beast, "Mmm no... No you did not."

Jeff speaks from the top of the monster, "It's the end of the line, kids! Mabel, marry us before we do something crazy!"

Dipper shakes his head, "There's gotta be a way out of this!"

Mabel looks around, frowning at the sight of the broken shovel and the turned over bike. She shakes her head upon seeing Aurora try to help her collapsed friend stand up, "I gotta do it."

The boy shakes his head at her, "What?! Mabel, don't do this! Are you crazy?"

The girl's face twists into a determined look, "Trust me..."

Dipper raises his eyebrows at her, "What?"

Mabel turns to her brother, "Dipper, just this once. Trust me!" She waves her hand at the pair of friends, "Trust me like how you trust them!"

The boy glances at gnomes, their new friends, then to his sister and then backs away.

The girl stands up straight, "All right, Jeff. I'll marry you."

Jeff smiles at this, "Hot dog! Help me down there, Jason!" He climbs down to her, "Thanks, Andy! Okay, left foot! There we go, watch those fingers, Mike!" He approaches Mabel and holds out diamond ring, "Ehh? Ehh?"

Mabel holds out hand to him with a smile.

The lead gnome puts the ring on her finger, "Bada-bing, bada-bam! Now, let's get you back into the forest, honey!"

The girl twin shouts while keeping her smile, "You may now kiss the bride!"

Jeff stops and plays with the straps of his overalls, "Well, don't mind if I do." He moves closer to kiss Mabel.

Aurora adjusts Atlas in her arms, "Oh ew!"

The boy moves his head away from the view, "Now I can't watch!"

When Jeff leans in for a kiss, Mabel takes a step backwards and turns on the leaf-blower behind her. She aims at Jeff to pull him into the suction.

The lead gnome raises his eyebrows in surprise, "Ah! Hey, hey, wait a minute!" Dipper, Aurora, Atlas and the gnomes gasp in shock. Jeff tries to move back, "Whoa, whoa! W-what's goin' on?!" His small body gets sucked half-way into leaf-blower.

Mabel glares at him, "That's for lying to me!" She turns the knob to increase the power, "THAT'S for breaking my heart!"

Jeff's body slowly gets sucked into the leaf blower further, "Ow! My face!"

Mabel turns the knob again, looking at Aurora and Atlas, "This is for messing with my new friends!" She aims the leaf blower at the monster and motions for the boy twin to move closer to her, "And THIS is for messing with my brother!" She smile at her brother, "Wanna do the honors?"

Dipper grabs the leaf blower, "On three!"

Both twins push the button on the back of the leaf blower, "One, two, three!"

They shoot Jeff towards the gnome monster, which makes the gnome giant explodes into several separate gnomes!

Jeff flies off into the distance, "I'LL GET YOU BACK FOR THIIIIIS!"

The other gnomes scream when they fall from the formation they made.

One gnome looks around, "Who's giving orders? I need orders!"

Another struggles to get up, "My arms are tired..."

Atlas manages to stand up on his own, "Well all of you can go away now!" He holds up the wooden bat again and swings above them, not hitting them this time.

Aurora holds up her grappling hook with a glare on her face.

Dipper speaks triumphantly while his sister moves the leaf-blower back and forth, blowing gnomes while they retreat into the woods, "Anyone else want some?"

The gnomes begin to run off on all fours. One of them gets caught in a six-pack holder and the goat picks up the plastic before running off with the gnome. This makes the gnome scream in terror.

Mabel turns to her brother with a frown, "Hey, Dipper? I... Um...I'm sorry for ignoring your advice. You really were just looking out for me..."

Dipper smiles at her, "Oh, don't be like that. You saved all our butts back there."

Aurora smiles while putting the grappling hook in the front pocket of her overalls, "That leaf blower idea was genius!"

Atlas relaxes the bat against his shoulder, "Yeah! Besides! I only have a little head trauma!"

The girl twin smiles at all of them before sighing, "I guess I'm just sad that my first boyfriend turned out to be a bunch of gnomes..."

The boy twin playfully pushes her, "Look on the bright side. Maybe the next one will be a vampire!"

Mabel giggles at him, "Oh, you're just saying that!"

Dipper opens his arms for his sister, "Awkward sibling hug?"

The brunette nods her head at her brother, "Awkward sibling hug."

The twins pull each other in for a hug... They then pat each other on the back, "Pat, pat!"

This makes the pair of friends smile at them...

...

Soon, the kids all walk into the Mystery Shack's gift shop. Dipper closes the door back with his right foot, "Hey, uh... I'm sorry about dragging you guys into... All that."

The girl in the overalls shrugs her shoulders, "You know what... It's fine, Dipper. That's actually the most exciting thing I think I ever did out of every summer!"

Atlas pumps his fist, "Yeah me too! If you ever want to call us on another adventure again, we're your pals! Amigos! Buddies! You know!"

Aurora moves her head to smile at Dipper, "Friends."

Then, they see Stan sorting a wad of dollar bills in his hands. He frowns at the sight of all of them, "Yeesh! You kids get hit by a bus or something? Aha!"

Dipper and Mabel begin to walk away while Aurora and Atlas head for the door. None of them laughing at his joke.

The old man raises his hand to stop them, "Uh, hey! W-wouldn't you know it? Um, I accidentally overstocked some inventory! So, uh... how's about each of you take one item from the gift shop? On the house, y'know?" He looks at the pair of friends, "You kids too!"

Mabel's eyes widen at him, "Really?"

Dipper folds arms, "What's the catch?"

Stan frowns while shaking his head, "The catch is do it before I change my mind, now take something." He elbows the cash register open before placing some money in.

Both the twins begin to look at items while Aurora and Atlas do the same.

The girl in the overalls spots a necklace on one of the counters. It was a rock with a blue and pink space pattern painted on it, attached to a black string. She smiles before holding it, "Wow... I think I'll take this! I think I saw it in my dream last night! It definitely feels... Familiar in a way." She puts the necklace on in a smile.

The boy in a green hoodie nods his head at her, "It looks nice on you!" He then holds up the wooden bat, "I think I'll keep this! It'll definitely fit in my bat collection nicely!"

Dipper smiles at two, laughing awkwardly, "Nice pick. Very 'jock' of you." He then picks up a blue pine tree hat from one of the shelves and looks in a mirror, "Hmm... That oughta do the trick!"

Mabel holds her hand out to Aurora, "May I have this?" She points at the grappling hook in the front pocket of her overalls.

This makes the other girl freeze, "Wait... You want something I made?"

The girl in the sweater nods her head, her hand still extended, "Of course! You made it AND it helped me out today! I'd love to have something my friend made!"

Aurora still stands there, frozen, "I'm... Your friend?" She slowly starts to smile before giving her the grappling hook, "This really is the happiest day of my life."

Mabel pumps her first, "So now I have a..." She twirls around and raises it up in the air, "GRAPPLING HOOK! Yes!"

Stan raises his eyebrow at Dipper, "Wouldn't she rather have like... A doll or something?"

Mabel fires the grappling hook up at the ceiling, it catches the support beam and pulls her upwards, "GRAPPLING HOOK!"

The old man laughs, "Fair enough!"

The group then hears a car honk from the outside of the shack.

The girl with her hair in buns turned her head towards the door, "Oh! That's Uncle Blubs! I gotta go to my Nana's house! I'll see you guys later!" She waves to her friend, "Come on, Atlas!"

The boy in the green hoodie cheers, "Woo! See you guys another day! I hope my mom can help me fix up my bike..."

Aurora nods at him while he opens the door, "Hehe, I'm sure she can! Your mom can do anything!"

With that, the two children entered the cop car and almost instantly started talking about their day to the girl's uncle and his partner...

...

Now in Mabel and Dipper's bedroom. The boy writes while Mabel jumps on her bed, laughing.

The brother writes in journal while thinking to himself, 'This journal told me there was no one in Gravity Falls I could trust.' He looks at his sister, 'But when you battle a hundred gnomes side-by-side with someone, you realize that they've probably always got your back.'

Mabel shoots grappling hook, then reels it back through a stuffed animal's stomach.

Dipper chuckles at his sister, "Hey, Mabel, could you get the light?"

The girl nods her head, "I'm on it! She shoots the grappling hook at the light, breaking it but shutting it off, "It worked!"

This makes both the siblings laugh.

Mabel shakes her head before falling asleep, "This grappling hook..."

The boy thinks to himself before falling asleep, 'Our uncle told us there was nothing strange about this town. But who knows what other secrets are waiting to be unlocked?"'

...

Then, Stan walks into the gift shop while holding a lantern. He walks up to the vending machine before pressing the buttons in a code pattern. The machine opens, revealing a secret stairway and Stan walks inside, looking side-to-side before closing it behind him...
