7 years ago is supposed to be the darkest year for Orario where many adventurers were destined to die because of a group formed by a god named Erebus called "Evilus".

But something so small happened that led to things being like this right now.

Orario was never destroyed, gods that were supposed to be sent back to heaven still remained, adventurers that were supposed to be dead were alive, and the legendary fight that was supposed to happen never came.

Just because of a single women's decision to stay by her nephew's side instead of being part of the attack.

Of course, the attack still happened but with the two level 7 not being on their side, they've lost and the god commanding all of the adventurers who attacked were sent back to heaven as a punishment.

This happened because Alfia, a stunningly beautiful level 7 adventurer from Hera Familia decided to take care of her twin sister's child named Bell. Zald also accompanied her and Zeus to take care of the boy who's as cute as a rabbit but will grow as a prodigy.

Normal POV.

"Wake up dear, it's morning."

Alfia shook her son's shoulders to wake him up and have him go downstairs to have breakfast with all of them. But after staying late last night while listening to his grand father's stories, Bell tried to cover his ears with his pillows and cover himself with his blanket as he tries to get some more sleep.

"Hey, the breakfast will get cold you know... Ah! I also cooked your favorite bacon..!"

After hearing her mother's sweet voice, Bell immediately stood up and fixed his bed. After washing his face, he went down along with her mother and went to the dining room to eat together with her uncle Zald and grand father Zeus.

"Good morning, you finally woke up." His uncle greeted him as he sat down beside her mother.

"I thought you'll probably stay in bed for one more hour considering how late we stayed last night Bell!" His grand father said with a laugh but his loud voice was soon silenced when Alfia smashed his face with a frying pan.

"You good for nothing old man! I don't know what got into me when I agreed to raise Bell with you! You're a very bad influence to my child..." Alfia hissed at the old man before they finally eat their food.

After their breakfast, Bell finally realized what day it is. So he went up to his room to find his traveling bag before calling his mother.

"Mom! Can I ask you for some advice?"

"Sure dear, wait for a sec. I'm going upstairs."

Alfia soon reached her son's room and talked about what's necessary to bring and what's to be left in here. From clothes to personal things, they sorted it out until his bag was full.

"Alright, you're good to go. Now all you need is to take a bath, get dressed and remember all the things we've taught you before going to Orario, okay?" She smiled gently before embracing him.

"Why don't you come with me mom? A long with uncle Zald and grandpa..." Bell whispered. Not wanting to get separated from any of them.

"You see, if I came with you and they discovered that you were my son. They will flock at you and invite you so they can invite me in their familia as well and I don't want that to happen to you. I want you to find a familia that would accept you for who you are and not because you are related to me. Okay? So don't be sad, there are lots of very good adventurers in Orario that would help you. So rest assured."

"Okay mom... Well, I'm leaving! I love you mom! Grandpa and Uncle Zald! Bye!!"

After 3 days, Bell finally arrived at the city. He was so surprised by how advance and how many people are going inside and outside of it. The line was so long that it took him almost a whole day just to get near the gates.

Bell's POV.

"Excuse me but could you please state why you are here young man?" Asked a women with a blue shoulder length hair.

She looks really beautiful. Simple and cool, a quiet type beauty that could charm any grown up man. This must be one of her mother's friend and if he's not mistaken, her name is Shakti Varma.

"Um, I want to enter the city to become an adventurer..." I replied to her.

"Ah... I see." She smiled before welcoming me.

As I passed through the gate, I saw tons of big buildings and hear the bustling sound of hammer and different kinds of working equiptments.

It was far more advanced than the village we lived in and there is a sea of people inside the large walls.

As I walked in fascination, I bumped into a cat person. She has a long black hair that extends towards her back, and oh god. She looks super cute! She looks like the kind of girl that would excel in everything and being popular to boys of her age.

"I-I'm sorry!! I'm not looking to where I'm going!" I bowed repeatedly, because by the looks of it. She's an adventurer with a bit of popular image as a lot of people were looking at her. Even before we bumped to each other.

"You think saying sorry would cut? How do you say I CUT YOU RIGHT NOW HUH!?" Her tone changed and it scared me to the bone and got me unto my knees.

A second later, I heard a cute giggle and a hand was offered to me. I looked up and saw the beautiful lady smiling at me.

"Sorry if I scared you, it looks like I went a little far on my teasing... Ehehehe..." She blushed slightly while laughing.

I blushed too before I took her hand and stood up. I then took a glance at her again and saw that she had company.

"Aki let's hurry." Her blonde friend said.

She waved at me before walking away with the blonde lady earlier. I then continued my exploration to finally find a familia.

I started to apply first to the largest and strongest ones to the smallest ones. But none of them accepted me and a few days have passed already since then and I'm already nearing the edges since my pocket money is running out.

I left the place I was staying in because I could'nt pay for one more day of stay. I then wandered around and arrived at the plaza near the babel and sat down at one of the benches there.

"Yow! Why the sad look on your face? You'll get ugly if you don't smile y'know!"

I looked up and saw a girl. She looks a little bit older than me. She has crimson eyes and hair as well as equipments.
