A large crowd stood outside the looming gates to the small Doolin village as the morning sun barely woke to greet the setting moon. People of all sizes and varying types of quirks stood tearfully as they proudly and sadly sent the heart of their village somewhere far. No matter how much it hurt to bid the small girl goodbye, but the thought that she was going to do amazing things where she was going made that pain all the more bearable.

The small girl was none other than Saoirse Dawn. A vibrant bubbly girl that brought joy and life to every crevice that she walked by. If she so much as caught wind that someone was sad or upset she was already there to make that person smile. To Saorise, the ability to make others happy even in the darkest of times is what led her to the decision she made. Of course the villagers were vehemently against the choice she made, but they knew they couldn't argue since the girl was beyond stubborn.

"I'll do anything to see my precious people happy, even if it means I have to lose something in return."

That statement was the last thing she said before she got into the black sedan that awaited her, for she knew that if she turned around her resolve would crumble. Saoirse was a kind and passionate soul, one that when she put her mind to it, absolutely nothing could deter her from her goal. To her, the villagers of Doolin were her everything, when she heard about how her precious people were suffering she did the one thing she thought was necessary. She decided to finally sign the contract that had sat on her desk for over a year. What she was losing was nothing compared to the happiness of her precious people.

Japan was definitely more different than Ireland and that made Saoirse miss Doolin even more. She'd never been far from her home before, even if she did travel it was always out to the forest near home. The building she was to stay in was colder and felt more empty than she ever thought something could feel, plus the restriction on quirk usage was different from Ireland where quirk usage laws were more lax.

She looked at the now packed schedule, all thanks to the Hero Commission no doubt. In the contract she signed she was to attend UA, attend the music studio to establish her name and do modeling on the side. After graduating she was to spend the next five years before her contract was to either be resigned or nullified. Most if not all her profits would go to her home village, any money left over she would save back. Saoirse breathed in and let it out with a content smile, she was on the path to becoming a hero, one that could bring smiles to the ones who needed it most.

After unpacking her luggage she was escorted to the salon where her wild curls were treated with frizz control, and they tried to straighten it but the curls bounced back. So, they decided to leave it as it was and trimmed any split ends they could. Afterwards they washed, waxed and lotioned her, then moved on to give her a mani pedicure. They they plucked and gave her face a small makeover and donned her in a bubblesque type outfit where she then moved onto a photo shoot. Saoirse was posed beside the other person under the Hero Commission, Hawks or Keigo Takami. The two got on like a house on fire, chatting and joking as they were moved from photoshoot to photoshoot. From bubbly vibrant themes, to mysterious cool themes, through each one the two were already planning ways to hangout or where.

"So what made you come all the way out here from Ireland, Silkie?" Keigo asked as the two walked out of the modeling agency.

"Oh! Well, I'm here on a contract. Any money that I earn from modeling and Idoling will be sent to my home village and the children's hospitals that need it. I'll be attending UA in the next ten or so months through the entrance exam, asked the commission to let me. I want to earn my spot in UA." Saoirse said, balling her hands up into determined fists as she stopped to turn and look up at Keigo with a grin.

For just a moment Keigo didn't know how to respond to her answer, he stopped to really look at the small girl. She had mid-back length pearlescent hair that shimmered slightly when light hit it, her eyes were a milky white framed by oval-shaped lashes, porcelain skin and soft freckles that dotted her face and skin. She was definitely pretty, Keigo noted, but he found his tongue refused to work when he wanted to say that.

Month One

She was definitely still getting used to Japan, but it wasn't in a bad way whatsoever. So far she'd been scheduled to model with Hawks and when the Hero Commission felt that she was popular enough, then they would start to schedule her with other heroes to model with. From there she was to train her quirks, to make it easier for her to use so she had better control. Enough control to where she didn't have to wear a slight quirk suppressor.

See, Saoirse wasn't given a contract just so she could become a hero. It was also to protect her, because her quirks were both dangerous and one of them would be sought after, if the true depth of one of them were to be discovered.

"So Keigo, are you a cannibal?" Saoirse asked, she lay on her bed as she kicked her legs back and forth, with a chicken leg in her hand. In her mind she imagined a red hawked chicken chasing a smaller hen around.

"Awe, come on Silkie! I'm not a red hawked chicken, I'm a Haawwwkk." He whined as he saw saoirses' imagination come to life. A red hawked chicken a bit like him was then chased around by the hen, Sao giggled as the hen trampled the red chicken before the two poofed away. Keigo pouted at Saoirse picking on him and his love of fried chicken.

Month two

Saoirse grit her teeth as she imagined a small plain bolt, sweat dotted her brow as she struggled to focus on the image of a plain old bolt. She sagged with a pout when a spongy singing bolt bounced on the floor, soon enough there was a choir of spongy bouncing tools and bolts that twirled while singing.

"It's no use. Everytime I try to focus on a plain bolt, my imagination ends up adding things to it." She pouted as she looked up at Hawks, who was a bit focused on the choir. He looked up and snorted at the teary upset pout on the girl's face, he had to turn around so he didn't let his love of adorable things be known. He would take that dirty little secret to the grave no matter what, soon enough the choir poofed away.

"Instead of trying to focus on one thing, why don't you think of a full toolbox. I've noticed that when it comes to imagining small singular things it's harder than letting your imagination run wild with no restraint." He noted.

He fell to his knees laughing as a toolbox set appeared, each item having stick arms and legs as they angrily screeched and chased each other.

Month Three

"So the commission said quirks, what'd they mean by that?" Keigo asked as the two walked side by side down the street.

"Oh that, my second quirk is called will o' the wisps. I can use them to summon great animal guardians. However, so far I can only summon the great bear guardian. When I summon them I gain some of their features alongside the power they represent." Saoirse explained as a wisp appeared in the palm of her hand.

"Awe and here I thought I was hoping you'd say your first summon was the great hawk guardian." Keigo pouted playfully, smiling to himself when she laughed at his pout.

Squeals and gasps were heard when some began to recognize Hawks and Saoirse from magazines that the two were featured in. Some even saw Saoirse with a few other heroes in magazines but right now they were more focused on the number three hero and the pretty girl that became an overnight sensation.

Month four

Ok, so maybe she got just a little too ahead of herself. Why does she say this? Well that's easy to answer, because currently she was hiding from the stampede of rabid fans.

One album! She released one album and within a week she was noticed, then mauled for autographs. She hadn't expected her songs to be so popular, she'd assumed at most that she would gain a small following. Not mauled on the street for an autograph and pictures. Sometimes people were far scarier than any villain.

Month Five

Finally she could summon a great Hawk guardian. Although she found it almost impossible to summon both at once, she did for a brief few seconds and was immediately drained of any energy and was almost comatose.

She spent that month training with her new summon, where she found that the Hawk guardian was best for speed and divebombs. Her and Keigo proceeded to race each other, he won, but quickly claimed it was a close match when he saw the upset pout on her face.

Month Six

Sao could finally imagine a plain toolbox set, one that was actually solid and didn't poof away. From there she went on to try and imagine a small bolt, but…. A singing winged bolt was what greeted her and Keigo. The two sagged with a sigh as they realized that it was going to be a bit more difficult than they realized.

Month Seven

Keigo and Saoirse shot through the skies as they raced each other. The rising dawn greeted them as they soared high enough to not get caught, since Sao was technically illegally using her quirk. Up in the sky the two felt free, there were no obligations, no fake smiles, no fans, no commission and no rules. Just two friends able to be themselves without being judged, or put up to high standards that loomed over their shoulders.

Month Eight

The classes she took instead of going to junior high weren't as bad as she assumed they'd be, although she was a bit peeved at the fact she could SEE Keigo in the tree outside the window. He was purposefully sitting where she could see him but the tutor couldn't while slowly eating a bucket of FRIED CHICKEN!! She was going to pluck him when she got out of classes, she'd enjoy every last second as she did as well. Yes, fufufufu~

"Dawn? Is there a reason you're glaring at that economics book?" The tutor asked worriedly, she was just a little scared for whoever or whatever pissed the girl off. Even if she was bubbly and vibrant, the girl had a rather morbid side to her. The tutor had been a victim of seeing it, although it was from around a corner that she witnessed it.

"No mrs. Michiko, I just realized how excited I am to be collecting pretty feathers today." Sao said with a rather dark smile, if the two heard the girly whimper from outside the window, then they didn't say anything.

Month Nine

"Oh come on, pretty bird! It's been a month, are you really still pouting about it?" Saoirse said as she tried to talk to the boy.

After he figuratively poked the bear too many times, by teasing her from outside the window of her tutors class. Thus, the world was told he was ambushed by a group of villains and that was why he had huge patches of missing feathers. When in reality Saoirse had jumped him and now she had a pretty collection of feathers that served as a warning to the boy.

"You pulled my feathers, Silkie! My really pretty ones too!" As he turned to look down at her and felt his mouth go dry when he found himself staring into milky white eyes. Up close he could see the pearlescent flecks in them.

Saoirse didn't think he'd turn around when she had used her wisps to float higher so she could be eye level with his head. Now here she was staring at honey amber eyes, had he always had a gold ring around his pupils? Were his eyes always this pretty?

The two were frozen for a time as they tried to gather words that magically became too busy to work properly. Keigo already knew Saoirse was pretty, but he didn't realize she went past that fine line and dived into beautiful. She wasn't what you would consider Hot or Sexy, but she was a gentle type of beauty that scared Keigo. Because he could finally understand why his chest felt tingly when she was around and why he seemed to pay close attention to only the girl.

Month ten

Saoirse didn't really know how she felt, after that somewhat awkward incident with Keigo a month ago, he seemed to be busy now. Anytime she came around he would jump up with an exclamation of his feathers sensing villains, or how his food was ready. Did she do something wrong? Had she said something? Was it all in her head? Why did it hurt so much that he almost seemed to be avoiding her?

After the incident Keigo scrambled to constantly be busy, yes he felt guilty for it, but he really didn't know what to do. Whatever he was feeling for her was different than the other women he used to have around, she did something to his heart and he really didn't know how to confront that feeling, he couldn't just sleep with her and call it a night. More than once he imagined being with her, like as a couple. When he finally understood his feelings, he found that every time he saw her before she saw him his knees would go weak, his wings would ruffle and he could feel his heart skip like a schoolgirl.

He had it BAD and he was certain that if he stayed around her for longer than a few minutes he would turn to putty in her hands. He adored everything about the girl, the way her nose scrunched when she was laughing, how her eyes would shimmer when she was happy, how she would bounce around when she got her favorite food, when she would bite her lip if she was deep in conversation or how his body would shudder and almost melt when she called him pretty bird. God, he loved it when she called him that, he would do anything for that girl.

.

.

Saoirse had three days left until the entrance exam, she'd just finished training and was on her way to get answers. When she saw him leaving his room she quickly slipped in before he could close it when he saw her.

"S-Silkie! Heeyyy… uh, I uhm I have to-to go to bed." Keigo fumbled for words as he avoided the girls narrowed eyes.

"Why are you avoiding me, pretty bird?" She asked, not noticing how a shiver crawled up Keigos wings.

"I-I'm no-"

"Yes you are! Why are you avoiding me? Please, if I did something wrong, tell me what I did. Please Keigo, it's killing me." Her voice cracked slightly her emotions spilled into her voice as she stared at his back.

"….because I… well I." His voice failed to find the words as he kept his back to the girl.

"Are you mad at me?" She whispered as she softly rested her head on his back, noticing how his wings flinched and ruffled.

Keigos breath hitched when he felt her rest her forehead on his back, his wings flinched at the feeling and ruffled slightly. This girl was playing a dangerous game she was unaware of, he couldn't hold himself back if she said the one thing he was praying she didn't.

"Please look at me pretty bird… please don't be mad at me I-" She felt her words die in her throat as he spun around gripping her shoulders as he hunched over to be closer to her. Her heart stuttered horribly as their noses brushed and his cinnamon breath fanned her lips.

"Don't call me that Silkie. Unless you want something to happen." He growled, sending a shiver rolling down her spine. His eyes darted down to her parted lips, and he felt himself grow closer as a shiver raced to pool in his stomach at her shuddered breathing.

The two jumped when a loud ring of his phone was heard and in that moment he found himself angry at whoever decided to call. He debated on letting it ring as the two stayed in their position and Keigo quickly found that he loved the color red that stained the girls face.

"Pretty bird." She breathed as her lashes fluttered to close and she closed the small distance to meet his lips. Keigo froze as he felt her soft warm lips barely pressed against his in an almost shy manner.

Was he holding his breath? Her hair was so soft, silkie fit her. He sighed as he held her face in his hands, before sliding them down to wrap around her waist as she stood on her tiptoes to hold his face in her smaller hands. Their lips moved and molded slowly, almost as if they were afraid to move any faster. That if this were a dream, moving faster would wake them from it, from their euphoria.

Slowly they parted to breathe, although it was with great reluctance that they did. They searched each others eyes for an answer as they struggled to figure out if what had just happened was real. Before Saoirse could say anything Keigo was gone in a flash, leaving the girl in his empty room.

Fuck.

If anyone is worried Saoirse is 15 years old and Keigo is 17. I kind of wanted to write a story where Keigo is at UA in 3-A.
