Behind Blue Eyes

Chapter I

Naruto was sitting atop the Hokage Monument on the head of Namikaze Minato, his father and Fourth Hokage. He was looking out over the village where he had failed the Konoha Shinobi Academy's graduation exam, for the third time. It truly seemed as if he wasn't cut out to be a ninja but Uzumaki Naruto never gave up but how was he going to pass the exam and graduate with his friends?

Just then he heard a sound behind him, turning his head he saw Mizuki, one of his academy instructors.

"I thought i'd find you here Naruto." Mizuki said with a smile.

"What is Mizuki-sensei?" Naruto asked.

"Well I was going to tell you a secret. There is another way to graduate from the academy but it's dangerous and not just any student can do this task. But I think you can do it." Mizuki said baiting Naruto

"What do you mean by a secret test? Isn't the only way to become a ninja is to graduate from the academy by passing the exam?" Naruto pressed.

Naruto was many things but an idiot wasn't one of them. He knew this sounded fishy but he needed to know more about this test before he could do anything about it.

"Well there is a scroll in the Hokage's Office. All you have to do is steal the scroll and learn a single jusu from the scroll and you pass the test." Mizuki explained the false test.

"Stealing from the Hokage? I don't know Mizuki-sensei that sounds like it could get me into a lot of trouble." Naruto said, again he wasn't an idiot.

"Come now Naruto would I lie to you?" Mizuki asked.

"Well you have helped me in the past." Naruto replied knowing that Mizuki's help was actually him trying to sabotage Naruto. "Ok Mizuki-sensei I'll do it."

Naruto got up and jumped off the Monument onto a nearby rooftop leaving Mizuki behind.

"And after tonight you'll be dead and I'll have some of the most powerful jutsu in my possession" Mizuki said darkly.

Later that night Naruto was in his stealth gear a black two piece bodysuit, black sandals, and a black mask to hide his hair. Naruto had already made it into the tower and was on his way to the Hokage's Office when he heard a cough behind him.

"Mind telling me what you're doing here this late Naruto?" came the voice of none other than Sarutobi Hiruzen the Third Hokage.

Naruto knew he was screwed, he couldn't lie his way out of this one, on second thought maybe he didn't have to lie. Naruto whipped around and made a single hand seal.

"Henge!" Naruto yelled.

In a puff of smoke Naruto was replaced with a taller older young woman completely naked blowing the Hokage a seductive kiss. Hiruzen felt his nose bleed and lost consciousness.

"Wow I knew you were a pervert Jiji but I didn't think you were that big of one." Naruto said returning to normal and continuing his mission.

A few minutes later Hiruzen awoke to an Anbu looking over him. Hiruzen knew who this particular Anbu agent was; it was Neko, one of Konoha's most promising kenjutsu specialists.

"Hokage-sama what happened?" Neko asked.

"I believe someone has used Naruto to steal something. Let's hurry to my Office and see what was stolen." Hiruzen said.

Deep in the forest surrounding Konoha Naruto was in a clearing looking through the scroll and he knew instantly he couldn't let Mizuki get his hands on this scroll. Naruto had long since figured out Mizuki used him to steal the scroll for himself and now after seeing the contents of the scroll Naruto knew why Mizuki wanted it so badly, but Mizuki wouldn't get it not if Naruto could help it.

Naruto knew Mizuki wanted him to learn a jutsu from the scroll but honestly Naruto didn't want to after seeing why they were all forbidden. So Naruto did the next best thing and opened a channel to his burden, the Kyubi sealed inside him. Naruto had long since met the Kyubi when he was still a kid after a serious beating he received from a mob. It was the fox that helped Naruto better himself and become stronger to stand up to those who hated him.

"Hey Kurama, I need a plan to beat down Mizuki, do you have any ideas?" Naruto asked his burden.

"I have one, but it requires you letting me out long enough to beat the ever living shit out of him." Kurama replied.

"Ok I'll let you handle Mizuki." Naruto said.

"Good Job Naruto. I knew you were the best person to retrieve this scroll." came Mizuki's voice from behind Naruto.

"You're not getting this scroll." Naruto said coldly. "Ok Kurama you're up."

"You can't beat me, Naruto I made sure of that." Mizuki said.

Naruto got on all ours as a sinister red chakra began to seep out from his enveloping the young teen. Mizuki recognized the chakra immediately; it was the same chakra from fourteen years ago from when the Kyubi attacked Konoha.

"So the demon shows itself." Mizuki said, smirking. "Time to put you in your place, demon."

"You won't get the chance, traitor." Naruto said.

Naruto had been completely taken over by Kurama with a single tail swaying dangerously behind him. Mizuki snorted he thought he was better than a talentless failure but he was seriously underestimating Naruto and overestimating his own abilities.

"Bring it on, demon." Mizuki said getting ready to fight Naruto.

Naruto rushed Mizuki at a speed that Mizuki didn't think Naruto had and felt a gut wrenching blow to his stomach as Naruto buried his fist deep into Mizuki's gut. Mizuki coughed up blood and was forced back from the sheer force of the blow.

Mizuki growled at Naruto and grabbed one of his fuma shuriken off his back and began to spin it on his hand letting it build up speed. Naruto rushed Mizuki again as Naruto drew near Mizuki threw the weapon though it wasn't at full speed as Naruto didn't give the man time to fully build up speed. As the weapon flew toward Naruto the young teen twisted over the weapon and delivered a powerful blow to Mizuki's face with a resounding crack Mizuki knew Naruto had broken his nose.

Naruto landed on a tree branch and faced Mizuki and began to build up chakra. MIzuki felt the chakra building and knew he had to stop Naruto from completing whatever it was he was doing. Mizuki ran through several hand seals before slamming his hands onto the ground causing rock spears to erupt from the ground. However Naruto jumped from the branch over the spears and let loose his chakra.

Naruto released a massive tailed beast ball at Mizuki who didn't have time to dodge the attack and took it full force. Mizuki cried out in pain as the chakra burned him alive when the chakra died down a burnt Mizuki laid on the ground, still alive but unable to move.

Just then an Anbu agent dropped own from a nearby branch and walked over to Mizuki and checked his pule, it was weak but it was there. Looking at Naruto the Anbu spoke.

"Naruto, Hokage-sama wishes to speak with you urgently." the Anbu agent spoke.

A/N: Hey all Azrael here with a new story idea this will primarily be a Naru/Ino/Sakura pairing with other pairings splashed in. And no I will not add any other partner to the trio so don't ask me to. However, since the other pairings are not yet set in stone, if you have an idea or request for a pairing that doesn't involve NaRuto, Ino, or Sakura, leave a comment.
