Chapter 4 - "Danny's in trouble again?"
"Oh, that's great!" Popper said talking on the phone. "Thanks for letting me know, Flurry" Popper continued. "Tell Angel and Leroy, I said congratulations" Popper continued. "I love you too, bye" Popper said as he hung up the phone.
"That sounded like a good Conversation" Earthy said.
"Yeah, Angel just had her baby" Popper said as he continued going through papers on his desk.
"Well, that's good to hear" Earthy stated.
"Oh no" Popper said.
"What? It's not good?" Earthy said confused and shocked at the same time.
"Oh, yeah that's good news, yes. I said, oh no, because, Danny is in trouble again" Popper explained.
"oh good grief, what did he do this time?" Earthy asked.
"um, this time he backed up traffic at an intersection, yelling 'I can prove we live in a Simulation'" Popper said reading the article on the news paper.
"Well at least it's not drawing devil horns and a pitch fork on your bill board downtown like last time" Earthy added.
"oh, that was so embarrassing" Popper said hiding half his face with his desk. "the thing is, I can't go get him out this time, I have a meeting in an hour" Popper said scratching his head.
"oh no, nuh uh, I don't even know how you do it..." Earthy said starting to panic.
"easy, you just... think like him" Popper said.
"think like him?" Earthy questioned.
"yeah" Popper said.

Popper: *opened his report file* Danny ran into some complications, he falls asleep during conversations, he's gotta search the street when he's on vacation. *handed the report to Earthy* The worst is that I'm in the same situation

Earthy turned around trying to think*

Popper tripped trying to get up and got the garbage can stuck on his head*

Earthy: Distract my Brain from the terrible news but...
Together: It's not living, if it's not with you *Earthy turns around and saw Popper struggle to get the can off his head*
Popper finally got the can off his head as the song ends*
"see, you just have to think like him" Popper said sitting back at his desk and removing a banana peel off his head.
"Ok, can't be that hard, I guess" Earthy said scratching her head.
"you'll do just fine" Popper said.
"yeah, easy for you to say, you have more experience" Earthy said.
"oh, yeah, when you are done, you can take the rest of the day off, I'll finish your paper work" Popper added as the phone began to ring.
"You going to answer that?" She said before opening the door.
"Yes, you just be careful when you're with him, ok" Popper said as she left. "Hello? President Popper speaking" he said answering the phone.
"Hey, Popper, it's Lilo" Lilo said.
"Oh, hey, did you hear, Angel and Leroy had their baby" Popper replied.
"Yes, Flurry told me that, but, that's not what I'm calling about" Lilo said.
"oh, ok?" Popper said scratching his head.
"Danny's in trouble again?" Lilo asked. "I read it in the news paper on my lunch break" she added.
Popper took a deep breath and sighed. "Yes, unfortunately" Popper replied.
"Do you have to go get him?" Lilo asked.
"No, I have a big video counsel call meeting in 40 minutes, so I sent Earthy" Popper replied.
"Are you crazy!?" Lilo yelled. "That crazy tinfoil hat Coo-coo will turn her into soup" She added.
"she'll be fine" Popper said once again scratching his head.
"I'm going to help her, she shouldn't be alone with him" Lilo said. "I don't know why Mertle is even dating him" She added.
"ok, she is heading to the police station now" Popper said.
"I'm going to catch up with her, I'll see you later" Lilo said.
"Ok, see you later" Popper said as he hung up the phone.
Lilo's side of things
Lilo let out a sigh as she hung up the phone. She then walked over to Moses' desk where he was sitting eating the last of his lunch.
"Hey, Moses, uh, I have to leave early due to an Emergency" Lilo said.
"Ok, Lilo, I will see you Monday, 8 in the morning, not like this morning" Moses said.
"hey, I did call in to say I was going to be late" Lilo replied.
"It's fine, Lilo, I understand" Moses said as Lilo began getting her lunch bag and then heading out.
"ok, Monday, 8 in the morning, I won't be late" Lilo said before shutting the door behind her.
Lilo walked over to her Hover Car got in and started it. She let out a sigh and began to drive. Once she made it to the police station, she noticed Earthy was parked and still in her Hover Car, gripping the steering wheel nervously.
"I can't do this, Of course you can, Popper told me what to do, What if he tries to do some crazy tin foil hat trick to me..." Earthy said talking to herself as Lilo walked up to her.
"Are you ok, Earthy" Lilo said startling Earthy.
"Grape vines! You scared me" Earthy said holding her chest.
"Sorry, I just came to help, you shouldn't be doing this by yourself" Lilo said.
"oh, thank Heavens, you have no idea how much of a relief it is to hear you say that" Earthy said as she got out of her Hover Car.
"Alright, let's get this crazy coo-coo home so we can go see Angel and Leroy's new baby for a few hours" Lilo said with a smile.
"now that sounds like a plan" Earthy replied making Lilo chuckle.
In the Police station, everything seemed busy, as any other Police station would be. Lilo and Earthy waited in line for their turn. It smelled of Coffee and stale Donuts in the lobby or something like that. Lilo and Earthy just continued to wait patiently for there turn trying to think of how they would get Danny home without being sucked into his crazy Conspiracy theories. Before they could come up with anything, they were at the front desk.
"hello, can I get your name and purpose for being here today?" The receptionist asked. She sounded like she had a stern Brooklyn accent, kind of raspy even. As for looks she kind of looked like Sample, only, she was Red all over and a sky blue underbelly and she had ears like Angel.
"Yes, ugh, Lilo and Earthy, we are her to pick up, Danny" Lilo said nervously.
"One moment, please" She said as she typed in the computer. She did this for what seemed like an eternity, but was probably only thirty seconds to a minute. "ok, have a seat in the waiting area, sign these release forms and give them to the Officers when they bring him to you, please note, Upon receiving the criminal, you are fully responsible for him until he is returned home, If anything is to happen in that time all three of you will be taken into custody." She stated.
"Wait, we get arrested for something or anything he does, until he gets home?" Earthy asked.
"Correct, once he's home he becomes his girlfriends problem for thirty days of house arrest. Is this going to be a problem for you two?" She asked.
They both looked at her for a few seconds as she raised her right brow, her eyes like dark blackholes sucking their souls up like a straw in a milkshake.
"No, no problem at all" Lilo and Earthy said at the same time with fear in their voices.
"Excellent, They will be out with him shortly, have a wonderful day" She said.
"ok, thank you?" Lilo said as she took the forms and they both headed for the waiting area.
"next!" The receptionist yelled, making them jump a little as they left the front desk.
As they both sat down and started reading and signing the forms, an Officer on the other end of the room noticed them both and started walking over to them. He looked exactly like Stitch only he had a light gray underbelly.
"Excuse me, you are Lilo, right?" The Officer asked.
"Yes?" Lilo replied.
"My Daughter is in your hula class, Lisa" The Officer stated.
"Oh, yes! She is a very clever hula dancer, top of her class" Lilo said with a big smile on her face. "You should be very proud of her Offic..." She was stopped mid sentence.
"Please, call me, Mike" He stated.
"Ok, Mike" Lilo smiled.
"Oh, Sorry, Vice President Earthy, Maim!" He said as he saluted to her making all the Officers in the building do the same, except the receptionist, she raised her brow at them again.
"Come on now, no need for that" Earthy said as everyone went back to what they were doing.
"So, what brings you two here?" Mike asked.
"We came here to bring Danny back home for his House arrest" Earthy stated.
"You two? No, no, no! Heavens no, I'll take him home, you two should not have to deal with this guy. Besides I owe you this much for being such a good teacher and you an amazing World Vice President" Mike said. With a Sigh of relief from the both of them they excepted and left the police station, after thanking him profusely, of course.
In the parking lot
"Well, that wasn't so bad" Lilo said.
"Yeah, but that Receptionist is going to haunt my dreams for a while" Earthy stated.
"You're telling me" Lilo agreed.
"pahahaha" They both laughed.
"Well, we have a Baby to go meet" Lilo stated.
"Don't have to tell me twice" Earthy said.
They both drove off.
Popper's side of things
Popper hung up the Phone, it was very quiet in his Office, other then the noises he could hear outside his Office, like Phones ringing, Talking, and the occasional bubbling noise of the water cooler.
"hmm... Meeting isn't for another thirty minutes, what to do for thirty minutes?" Popper said to himself.
He got up from his desk and walked around his Office. Then suddenly, the phone began to ring. He looked at it for a second, then he walked over to it and picked it up.
"President Popper Speaking" Popper said.
"ksssksssksssksss" Static.
Popper hung up the phone.
"Odd, That never happens" Popper stated to himself.
The Phone rang again. Popper took a gulp as his mouth began to get dry, he carefully picked the phone up again and placed it to his ear again.
"hhhello?" Popper shuddered.
"ksssksssksss Popper ksssksss" a voice that sounded like himself could be heard calling his name.
"Wwwhat ddo yyyou want?" Popper asked now shaking.
"ksssksssksssksss" Static.
"look if this is a prank, I don't have time for this, so, what do you want" Popper said convincing himself it was a prank call.
"ksssksss I want you ksssksssksss It's almost time, Popper ksss" The voice said.
The Lights in the Office began to flicker and a horrible ringing noise was heard instead of the static. Popper hung up the phone and the flickering lights stopped. Now breathing heavy he backed away from the phone.
"Excuse me, Mr. President. It's time for your meeting" Popper's Secretary stated startling Popper a bit.
"ok, thank you" Popper said trying to shrug off whatever just happened for his meeting. He couldn't for the life of him figure out how thirty minutes went by so quick, but he continued to try and shrug it off for the meeting. Popper sat down at his desk and turned is computer on and up popped the video chat, on the screen was: Rueben, Captain Gantu, a few other member's of the Council, and of course The Grand Council Woman (Terrah).
"Ok, Everyone is here, let us begin" Terrah began the meeting. "I wanted to get a few things started before our official thirty day council meeting starting next week, as you all know, Planet Sora is in a blockade led by Planet Kyro and both Planets are very close to the brink of war. Our job as peace keepers of the galaxy, is to ensure this does not happen by coming up with a better solution for both planets" she stated.
"Have any of them try to come to a compromise for the issue?" One Council member asked.
"Yes, Kyro Leader did not except the offer that the Sora Leader suggested, brought us right back to square one" Gantu stated.
"If I'm not mistaken, Planet Sora is very rich in Sora Crystal, hence the Planets name, It's a very good power source. I'm assuming that's what they are after, I also know Planet Sora is in a worker crises at the moment due to a pandemic they are just getting over, surely they could try to understand that" Popper stated.
"huh, You did your research?" Terrah asked.
"Psychic Sister" Popper stated.
"ah, yes, how can I forget" Terrah replied.
Rueben put his head down as if trying to fight back tears, Gantu began to notice and Rueben snapped himself out of it, Popper also noticed it as well but remained professional for the time being.
"I think Kyro needs to back away for now to give Sora time to gather enough to pay back resourses they have collected from them during pandemic, it's an easy solution to the problem" Popper stated.
"Excellent, anyone agree with this?" Terrah asked. Everyone agreed. "There we have it, we will bring this solution in the War Prevention trial starting next week, dismissed" Terrah stated turning off her video feed, followed by everyone else except Popper and Rueben.
"Rueben, What is going on? My Sister and you have been acting like the whole Universe has been torn apart" Popper asked.
Rueben let out a sigh. "I can't say, I'm sorry, uh" Rueben's eyes began to get glossy as he got a lumpy felling as he talked. "I wish..." he snuffed trying to hold back tears. "I'm sorry, I got to go" Rueben said as he closed his video feed.
"What is going on with those two" Popper said to himself.
Popper turned his video feed off and then the computer monitor as he did he was looking at the same sight he seen in the rear view mirror in the morning. A dark shadow with glowing red eyes instead of his own reflection. His heart started to race, he began having trouble breathing. Then he glitched similar to how Stitch did many years earlier, but instead of green eyes his were red. Popper then passed out at his desk.
"Soon, you will be mine" The voice stated.
