"Halloween, a time when anyone could become anything their hearts desired. So far everyone in the city were preparing for the holiday along going out to do the traditional stuff such as scaring people along trick or treating. Though some people don't have time since they have to keep a eye out in the world seeing how it's always in danger of villains and monsters or any kind of threat. However for certain individuals couldn't help themselves and take one night off, to which had to be one of the Guardians of the Globes members who was asked to help out with a friend of theirs to embrace the holiday."

Night Time-Guardians of the Globe Base

Having been protecting the city and other parts of the world for several months, the new Guardians have gotten quite the reputation for how much has passed since the first team had passed away. Though they still had a lot to do if they were to be as strong and dedicated to protecting the earth like the other heroes. Though right now it seemed instead of Monitoring the numerous countries, one of the guardians was decorating the base.

"What the hell is with this shit?!"

Shouted none other than Rex as the only one who was making it was Shrinking Rae, the teams expert in becoming small in a second as well considered best in sneaking into isolated areas. Noticing Rex as well the other members of the team arriving after another scouting mission for any signs of criminal activity, Rae ignored his question as she had everything complete.

"Just some seasonal decorations that's all, besides it's Halloween. The one time where not everything is trying to kill us can be enjoyed for a bit."

Rae responded defending the chance for them to have one holiday where they can enjoy it without thinking about any disastrous events. Rudolph looked over at the interesting props that Rae had set up as it was a rather good dedication to the holiday as well this would be his first as a actual human.

"It's not custom for us to do these types of holiday events, however this is the first time I'm human and wouldn't mind enjoying it."

He stated as both he and Amanda had time to get to know one another, along how this would be a good time spend even more with a holiday like this. Black Samson took a moment to think about it as well since it seem appropriate to take one day off from how much they've done, along a way to screw with Rex in even more.

"You know I agree, let's have a bit of Halloween fun. I know a few movies we can watch, and from how why your doing this there might be something else right?"

Asking Rae of another means to this as the glasses wearing girl nodded as she walked over to the group where she pulled out her phone showing a image that was sent to her. It showed Curio with a pumpkin bag as well expressing a excited as it seemed he asked to go 'trick or treating' with her.

"He learned about the holiday and has asked me to go trick or treating. He's like a pet cat curious about everything, and with how he looks like he's in costume I thought I join him."

Explaining the reason about why she was doing this which made the guardians merely sigh due to how Curio was from Sledge's crew. The same one that apparently were responsible for so much happening, along having a dangerous individual who still hasn't managed to be found and detained yet. With getting their explanation from Rae they heard the door opening, turning at the entrance they saw a excited patchwork creature which was Curio.

"Happy Halloween!"

Announcing in a excited manner to everyone as well doing a scary face, however it didn't seem to scare any of them but give them different types of expressions. While the guys merely shrugged it off since this had to be the first time he was ever enjoying a holiday, while the women thought was adorable since Curio seemed so in loved with the holiday.

"I told him to hang back but he had to see Rae since he's been talking about trick or treating with her."

A voice calling from the back as it was Poisandra who was dressed up as a zombie cheerleader while being accompanied by Sledge who was a zombie football player. Last behind them was Invincible who was still in his uniform since he felt right that he could wear it without getting involved in any criminal activity.

"We we're going call but Curio rushed right in to see Rae. So far he's been talking about trick or treating with her. Along that she said the others could hang here for a bit."

Sledge stating due to how behind them were both Wrench and Fury who seemed both out of costume and not exactly involved with the Halloween spirit. The blue robot by the side waved to the guardians as he was fascinated with a project he wanted to get done.

"While everyone was doing their own thing I wanted to discuss about Robot and Monster Girl's rare youthful looks, possibly find a way to reverse it."

Requesting since it's been a while since he had learned about how Randolph and Amanda were still in a child like state. So he'd wish to figure out a means to reverse the process, meanwhile the others looked at Fury who merely snorts his nose since it seemed he didn't have anything better to do.

"Anyway we're going just do some exploration around the neighborhood and get candy. Maybe keep a eye out for any trouble makers, leave you all to enjoy a break for a chance."

Mark stating since he knew about how the guardians have always kept a eye on anything involving outside threats and that of situations coming from other countries. On the side was Curio who was trying to drag Rae like a excited child as the shrinking heroine merely chuckled at his innocent behavior.

"Alright, just don't try and have someone figure out your the actual Shrinking Rae. Don't exactly think Cecil will find it amusing if we're slacking off."

Black Samson stating as Rae acknowledged him along followed Curio outside where the others joined up so they could begin their trick or treating evening. Meanwhile for Fury looked at the others didn't exactly enjoy him around them since he always acted like a warrior then any sensible being. Duplikate saw how things seemed tensed and decided to try settle the mood.

"Say Fury, ever watched any horror movies?"

Thinking of a quick idea to help them get along as she divided herself to get them several snacks and beverages for the night. Rex merely rolled his eyes since he was responsible for getting them almost killed by Battle Beast and the other criminals back at Machine Head's tower. Setting up the screen as well finding the right movies, the red lion noticed how Rex was looking at him.

"If there's something you need to say. Then do it, otherwise your annoying me."

The lion responded to how he felt the anger growing from Rex to which the explosive man wanted to say something insulting, however couldn't think of anything. Noticing the chairs coming out Fury joined them to see what movies they wanted to introduce him to. While on the side was Wrench and Rudolph heading to the laboratory along with Amanda, who was confused about how the robot could figure out her situation.

"Not trying to cock block your ideas but this is a curse. Not exactly science based."

She said since this was magic based and couldn't be solved with modern science, however Rudolph nodded since he was able to look up Amanda's genetic background and how each week when she used her powers her body would revert to a even younger state.

"True. However spending time with someone who has a eye for genetic structures and technology upgrades. We may have found a solution."

Explaining as he walked over to a section of his which had several broken machine parts from the Flaxan invasion. Looking at them they were all rusted as well impossible to use in whatever experiment they had in mind.

"I know they look destroyed, but we can salvage a piece to make a device to stabilize a possible reverse wrist band to keep you in a proper state of maturity."

Wrench explaining that just like the invaders who had aged rapidly in their dimension along with the technology they brought along, there was a way to do the opposite letting both Rudolph and Amanda become adults. However she didn't feel the confidence in how they seemed determined to help her, Rudolph could see it in her eyes and walked over to try and comfort her.

"It's worth a shot, as well that a chance to cure you from aging backwards. So that you can have a life before it slips away."

Offering her words of how there was a chance that it could work and not have her revert to possibly a infant. Seeing how both Randolph and Wrench seemed invested in the project she nodded giving them the chance to prove to her that the curse could be alerted in a way she could have a normal life. The two scientist began to work while Amanda watch as it seem she going to be watching this 'weird science' happen.

Later in the neighborhood

Across Mark's neighborhood things were festive with Halloween decorations along kids going up to houses requesting candy. Right now Curio and Shrinking Rae were at another house getting candy while Sledge and Poisandra watched the sight of the small humans dressed up like monsters. Mark was explaining how it was started leading up to now, as they were looking around the place Mark noticed Eve walking over wearing a Valkyrie styled costume.

"Sorry for being late, your mom needed help with designing the bushes to look like animals. Also is this will be doing all night? Not that I'm complaining since I enjoy getting free candy."

Eve explaining where she was and questioning that while hanging out with Mark and the others would be fun for a night like this. There had to be more then walking house to house getting candy, by the side was Poisandra who gestured to them making sure Sledge didn't hear her.

"Don't worry. I've got a hand in making this fun for everyone, cause I happened to find somewhere that will let us have some Halloween fun."

Stating to them as she pulled out a small invite which looked unlike anything that both Mark and Eve had seen. Apparently Poisandra kept this a secret from Sledge as it was a private invite, the two looked concern about what the pink alien girl was doing in which it was interrupted by Sledge and the others after finishing their trick or treating.

"Are we going another street with decent candy? This crap wouldn't fill my stomach."

He complained that while the candy had seem to be tasty, it wouldn't last for the whole night as Poisandra nodded as she knew where to go. Going first to lead the group the others decided to follow the zombie cheerleader skipping across the block along getting whistles from several teenagers passing by. Sledge noticed it as well was about to pull his blaster due to the wolf whistles his girlfriend was getting, however Mark stopped them since they were in the public.

"If we're lucky there's a Halloween parade right up the street. If we're lucky we can check it out."

Rae offering a suggestion to see if the trick or treating was going be dull for Mark and the others, then seeing a parade full of people dedicated to the holiday with floats would make things exciting. Continuing to walk down the block, Poisandra stopped at where the invitation was sent to where they looked at the house in front of them. Gazing upon the house each of them felt a different emotion to this as they didn't know what to expect from approaching the house.

"Let's go get candy!"

Curio shouting exciting as he was about to rush right towards the house, however Rae stopped the hyperactive creature since it wasn't exactly a welcoming home. Sledge looked confused about this while the others looked at Poisandra seeing how this was the place where the party was being held.

"Don't worry, were going get tons of candy and have the best Halloween ever. Promise."

Poisandra telling her friend as she got him excited more than enough to follow him up to the building. The others sigh at how they wouldn't be able to stop her as Sledge still was confused about what was happening.

"Sledge? Did your girlfriend ever do things that kept you in the dark?"

Eve questioning him on how before coming to Earth if she'd be doing her own activities without telling him. The alien merely took a moment to think about it as well how whenever they were together she'd do things behind his back. Thinking about the numerous times that Poisandra had done numerous acts behind him, her and Curio walked up to the door where it opened up showing a rather convincing monster costume.

"Password?"

Asking in a groggy tone as Curio merely showed his bag as well repeated the same word that was told around him. 'Trick or Treat', hearing those words the creature opened up allowing the two in as Poisandra gestured them to follow as Sledge groaned of how what Eve said may have had a bit of truth within it.

"Guessing a lot right?"

Mark asking Sledge as the others soon followed after Poisandra and Curio in the house while saying trick or treat. Entering the house they found a surprising sight, monsters. Actual monsters that were both enjoying themselves as well partying, the three humans were shocked that no one heard them due to how loud the music was. Hearing the door close as it had been clear they weren't leaving.

"Shit."

Rae stating as she saw how each of the 'people' here were several that made her a bit frightened due to half of them being snakes. Mark was noticing a few cat like monsters which triggered a memory of battling that white lion at Machine Head's home. For Eve there seemed to be nothing that frightened her, but creeped her out due to how gross they were acting.

"Poisandra. Where the hell did you bring us?"

Sledge demanding a answer to this situation since while he was use to being around creatures and other type of strange individuals. The pink colored alien merely chuckled at the question seeing how this type of environment would get him upset.

"Just a little gathering with people like us, I found it when we finished school today. I thought we come and check it out, I mean everyone is like us."

Both explaining to him as well expressing a excited look of how most of them didn't look like monsters that people saw in the movies. Mark and the others took a moment to examine the 'monsters' seeing how she was right, none of them looked like costumes from the store. Most of them noticed the three human like individuals and got curious, along noticed Sledge to which he pulled out his blaster and aimed it at them.

"None of you better get any funny ideas."

Threatening them as the creatures merely laughed at the bounty hunter as well brought them over to one of the tables to enjoy the beverage. Eve turned to Mark curious to know if he had a idea on how to handle this. Though as the half Viltrumite was thinking about a solution, his phone began to rang which made him lose track.

"I'll be right back."

Telling his girlfriend before go to the side thinking that the call had to be from either Robot or Cecil who might have a idea about this. However it was marked with a alien emoji, meaning it was Allen the Alien. Who a few months ago had given him a way to contact him since the aliens he's working, the Coalition of Planets were interested with how Earth seemed to be a spot for Viltrumite territory. Answering it he soon saw Allen who was able to face time him.

"Hi Mark! Apologies for not contacting you, it's pretty fascinating with the phone you gave me. Accidentally crushed the buttons when I tried using it."

Greeting his possible new friend since after the meeting that he had with Mark and Sledge, the three would keep it a secret from the others along keep contact if Allen spots Nolan across space. Mark spared no time and showed him the house he was in along the numerous creatures all around him, turning to the phone Mark saw how Allen's expression nodded to the situation.

"I was going call about that, apparently when I was doing some scouting for any Viltrumites coming over. There was a small group of aliens that sneaked onto your planet, it's been the talk of the solar system. Each of the people there are aliens, I'm not sure their dangerous but just came to hang out. Don't let them outside, I don't think humans are ready for this type of interaction."

Advising him that the monsters here wouldn't exactly know what to do if they were out with the humans. Hanging up Mark now got upset with now he wasn't in a house full of monsters but apparently aliens, looking over he saw both Eve and Rae getting smoothed talk by what looked like a vampiric male and a jellyfish type creature.

"Might I say you look rather 'colorful' with that complexion of yours. Might we go out for a bite?"

The vampire asking Eve in a Transylvanian accent leaving the orange haired girl unamused as she walked away along with Rae since they seemed rather real. Noticing Mark they walked over as he apparently knew what was happening.

"Ok. So the good news, this isn't some kind of haunted house and the people don't want to eat us. Though, their not from this neighborhood. Or this city, basically their actual monsters who might be here to screw around. Just need to keep them here and not let anyone go out, or give them a reason run."

Doing his best to not tell them directly that their aliens since it freak them out and tell Cecil. While they could try to come to terms with being a house full of monsters, the others however take it so well due to how one of them yelled at Sledge someone was able to recognized the green skin hunter.

"You! Your the bastard that locked up after I tried to steal Aquitar's treasures."

A aquatic alien pointing at him as Sledge who was by the table eating several snacks that was being offered. Recognized him in a instant as Sledge took a moment to check out who was accusing him, his red eyes opened in a surprised manner of how he was able to recognize the suppose 'costumed' guest.

"Doomwave! Yeah, it's been ages since we last met. Though it's impossible since you'd be in another system. Away from here."

Sledge stating since it was years ago since he had captured him and sent been sent to local authorities for a hefty price. However it flew over his mind that the other's guests were aliens which made him now worried, to which Doomwave took the chance and tackled him to the ground as he begun to attack Sledge. Taking the sign one of the other alien's got up on a table taking the excitement to their advantage.

"Halloween fight!"

Announcing as it soon caused a uproar with most of the aliens around one another to start fighting. Mark, Eve and Rae watched at how one tussle caused everyone to start brawling. Taking a moment Mark realized what they could do, checking out the sight they saw Curio who had gotten his bag full from the candy that was in the house.

"Curio, get Sledge and Poisandra."

Calling out to him as the cat creature nodded as he looked around amongst the crowd as he rushed over to see Poisandra watching two boys fighting for her affection. Pulling her from the fight they also grab Sledge who had broken one of the guests legs as the six soon made their way out of the house.

"I had them on the run there!"

Sledge stating as his costume was ruined by most of the creatures in the house as Eve decided to use her powers quick by making a shield covering the house. Closing it in for effects, it would make it appear like if it was decorations.

"Now we just wait till sunrise, and they'll head home since your here right?"

Mark stating to Sledge since if he was here and had a reputation for the people in the house, the bounty hunter nodded due to how most of them would keep out of his way. Meanwhile for the others they looked how things were starting to die down as people were heading back to their homes and turning off the lights.

"Does anyone want a lollipop?"

Curio asking since he had gotten more then enough to last for the night as well to keep them away while keeping the house on lockdown. The small group simply nodded as well letting Eve fix a bench that was apart of the house. Setting it right up in front of the windows, they watched the aliens battle with one another until they tire themselves out. Poisandra on the while merely smiled at how it turned out with them coming over.

"Told you it was worth it to come over."

Telling them all in a prideful manner as the others groaned at the response. Especially her boyfriend as Sledge merely stayed by her side as they enjoyed the brawl being presented to them along the candy they had gotten from tonight, as well enjoy this possible unique Halloween that any of them had have in a while.
