"When Mark learned about his father being one of the greatest heroes on the planet, he wanted to know the adventures he's been on along the countless of enemies he had to face during his time on Earth. There weren't that many that could beat him or become afraid since he was the one that made his enemies fear of, though now he's the one that has made Earth frightened. So it was his turn to do the same, except assure everyone he wouldn't go down the same path as his father did. In order to be properly prepared, Cecil requested a favor from him to help prepare for any surprise attacks that would fall upon the planet."

Space-Above the Earth

Outside of the atmosphere of Earth and floating within space was a satellite dish which used to be GDA's secret weapon against powerful threats. Such as Omni Man who the designers thought could pierce threw anyone, however it was destroyed in Mach speed and brought down from the sky. Luckily the agency was able to get another satellite up in orbit. However with the fear anyone in space due to threat of Omni man coming out of nowhere to take out the satellite, Mark along Sledge were the only ones to survive the harshness of space and make sure the construction of the satellite went underway with no distractions

"You drifting off into space?"

Mark asking Sledge who was suppose to help out with the reassembling of the machine since it required heavy lifters to get everything in place. However for the armored alien, his eyes gazed at the stars missing the thrill of chasing after bounties and getting into fights.

"Stargazing. Passes the time when we're doing this crap."

Responding back to the half Viltrumite as he saw a object flying away from the satellite as he grabs it. Handing it back to astronauts that were working on building the machine, Mark could see threw Sledge's armored mask how he had a emotion that he'd didn't expect from someone like Sledge.

"Then you can tell me what it was like traveling planet to planets, since you've been on so many hunts."

Requesting Sledge to share some of his tales from his travels in space since one day he might travel amongst the stars. Turning around Sledge remained in silence and decided to work on the satellite as he helped out placing the dishes in the right areas due to his enhanced strength. Rolling his eyes at the sudden silence Mark flew over to make sure the metal plates and wires weren't hanging out of the machine.

"I know that you may have not have been the most well liked alien since you've pissed off a lot of people. But it couldn't be all bad since you were able to get a girlfriend."

Questioning how that while being a bounty hunter might have it's downfalls since he was considered a criminal for chasing numerous aliens on numerous planets. Yet still he must have earned money and seen the wonders that most people on earth would die for. Taking a moment to think about Mark's words, Sledge out his blaster as he began to melt several of the metal plates together to speed up the construction.

"It was survival, everyday traveling to different planets knowing whoever I met to make a deal or to capture. It was to make a better life, and yet this deal. Has lead me to a backwatered planet with tons of nut jobs, and now having numerous my bounties running around either making their own territory in secret or planning to kill me."

Sledge giving him summary of how space was for him before coming to earth. To now becoming difficult since the outlaws that he's captured could pop out of anywhere and then shout out that he was responsible for stranding them here. The two floated over towards the next part of the machine making sure the satellite was fully activated.

"I may not understand how the life of a bounty hunter works. But maybe it's a chance to start a new life, you may not exactly be a hero but your at least someone that's got others backs. I know you had mine."

Giving the green scaled alien words of comfort that while at the start of this forced friendship seemed to fast and not so trusting. Though over half a year Mark was glad to have Sledge by his side, both when their not fighting for their lives and bleeding near one another. Sledge merely rolled his eyes by that statement due to how having emotions would lead to mistakes, however he had come to accept Mark as a ally when it came to a fight. The two moved back as they saw the satellite fully hooked up and the astronauts confirming that it was complete.

"Thanks guys, didn't expect the work to go that fast."

One of the astronauts stating as it had seem everything was operational leaving both Mark and Sledge to head back to Earth. About to make their descent to the atmosphere a beeping sound was going off in Mark's ear as it was ear pod from Cecil so he could keep him up to date on any unidentified objects coming near the satellite.

"Invincible. Radars got word something coming at you fast. Get Ready."

Cecil reporting about possibly something coming towards them. Looking to Sledge giving him a look about trouble, the armored alien looked at the astronauts who were still out in space admiring their work on the satellite.

"Unless you all want to know what it's like exploding in space get the hell out of here now!"

Activating his speaker as the astronauts acknowledge the requests and floated towards the ships they used to work on the satellite. Meanwhile for the duo, they looked at where the incoming object was coming as they prepared for a fight. Invincible cracking his knuckles to Sledge preparing his blaster, they waited to see what was coming their way. Noticing the flying object coming their way, it soon stopped as the figure was far away and waved towards them.

"Shit. It's Allen."

Sledge sounding annoyed that for a while since he's met the cyclops, he's considered a 'boy scout' whenever he visits the planet to keep a eye out for any signs for Nolan or Viltrumites. Responding back to Cecil with a device that he got from the director, he wanted to confirm to Cecil that this was a visit. Looking over to Sledge the two soon flew where Allen wanted to speak with them as they had their meeting on the moon as usual since it was considered 'neutral ground' for everyone.

"Nice seeing you again big guy, unlike grumpy here your the only alien that smiles whenever you come around."

Mark greeting Allen as the two shook hands while teasing Sledge which left the scaled alien growling at them. The cyclops nodded to him as he walked over to grab several moon rocks for his friends and placed them in front of them.

"So I wanted to brief you on how the aliens we handled on Halloween are back to their respectful planets and told Earth is off limits."

Informing the two about the Halloween incident that involved several visitors who got fascinated with Earth and managed to tell the Coalition of Planets that Earth is not ready for alien visitation. Though both boys noticed the look on his face how there was a other part of his message that Allen was keeping from them.

"Before you get to that 'bad' news shit I've seen from the movies Mark showed me along the others. Just tell us it doesn't involve a invasion."

Sledge speaking out first since the last thing he needed was a alien invasion coming to earth which Mark took a bit hard since the last invasion happened didn't go so well. Especially how his father was there to stop it, so another invasion might leave him unprepared. Allen assured them how there were no types of invasion occurring towards Earth.

"Don't worry. There no types of invasions happening, but this is a. Personal manner."

Comforting them how the planet still seemed to be not such a ideal place to conquer, maybe because of how it was deemed Viltrumite territory. The last part however seemed serious as he pulled out a device which showed a familiar and frightening sight, Battle Beast. The white lion alien that almost beat Mark, Sledge and the guardians to death at Machine Head's tower.

"You want us to go after him? Is that it?"

Mark asking Allen that if he was to chase after the lion since he still was owe him a rematch for the beat down. Allen however breathed in deep as the situation was more difficult to explain and important that it had to be shared with them.

"No. He's requested a rite of combat to Sledge's member, the red alien called 'Fury'."

Answering Mark's question that out of everyone who fought him and barely made it out alive, Fury was the only one who got back up to continue the fight. The two were confused about how this animal was able to make this agreement, or more importantly know who this lion is. Noticing the looks on the pairs faces, the next part of what Allen would say would catch them off guard.

"I don't know what he did on Earth but Thokk. His real name, has a record of battling several hundred worlds and it's strongest beings. Half of the Coalition were lucky to find him and Spellbinder. Since we need him against the Viltrumites."

Expressing a saddening tone how there was much more to this challenge then the two could think of. Giving Allen glares about what might be going on off world, he could only summarize what was happening.

"Right now we're running out of people who could help us. And he's offered to enroll in the fight, if he agreed to battle Fury. Since he believes your still in contact with your father."

Telling Mark that in order for him to offer his brutal combat skills to the fight against his father's race in a upcoming battle. Then he'd want to face Fury in a head to head fight and possibly ridicule him about not being strong enough to challenge him. It was tough for both young adults to see the same monster that could them in a instant. Taking a moment to think about the idea and how he wouldn't want his home to be ravaged like before, the half human showed a look to Allen's face confirming the agreement.

"Where's it being held."

Questioning the agent of the Coalition of planets to see where it would be settled since Thokk would want it somewhere that no one would interrupt it. Sledge however was questioning this moment since it was his teammate that would be facing the lion again, he only hope that it was for the right right.

Morning-Global Defense Agency Headquarters

Returning back to earth and to deliver the news to Cecil, he along the others and Debbie who rushed in to hear about this alarming news. Were told about the challenge along how the memories of her son and the others beaten to life made it a demand to not let him or anyone else go.

"No. Out of the question, I'm not letting you or any of you kids go god knows where to get almost killed again."

The mother stating to not just Cecil but to everyone currently in the room since she wanted to check up on any sightings of Nolan. Whether it was fear, anger or the slight chance of seeing what had happened to him. The news about the challenge made her hesitate about letting Mark or any of the individuals who protected him go off into space without any support.

"He isn't the one Mark's fighting. It's me, I was the one who showed I can handle him. Sledge and the others will.."

Fury stating that he was the one Battle Beast desired to fight while Mark would be there as possibly a witness. Except he was interrupted by a sudden tap on the head by Debbie making the alien feline yelp at her stopping him from speaking.

"Will not go. Even if your going up there, you protect my son. All of you, and right now I don't want anyone else getting injured or worse."

Stating her reason that even if it was Curio's challenge, she still wanted them all safe from harm since Mark considers them friends. Along how with no one around who she could talk to, she considered them almost family. Meanwhile for Cecil he was thinking about that this could aid him in understanding what they'll be facing. Though with how Debbie was acting defensively and no mood to talk about this, he was at a stand still.

"But we have to."

Mark stating to his mother about this difficult choice in leaving the planet and going somewhere that would leave him defenseless. Debbie looked at her son about what he was saying and was going argue with him about this choice. However the young man merely gave her a stern look which almost resembled Nolan when he took down enemies in the past when she believed he was a hero.

"Whenever a new threat comes to the city or the world, dad was there to stop it. With him nowhere to be found and the idea that there could something worst out there in space, we need to stop it. Even if it means working with a enemy."

Explaining about that it was more than a challenge for Fury since he was required in order for Battle Beast to get a better look at Mark since he might know about Viltrumites. Debbie's look changed of how serious he sounded and determined to going along with the plan, yet the idea of letting him go out in space alone away from Earth was dangerous. Turning over to Sledge and the others, they looked ready to make sure she'd get her boy back with no harm on him. While for Cecil seemed fascinated with the suggestion since he and the agency could get information for the future.

"If there is a chance, he should take it. Along will be given proper protection, medical kits and a ship."

Informing her and the others about that he wouldn't be flying where Allen was taking him. The last part of his sentence had the alien bounty hunters got their attention along gave him a rather confused and angered look on each of their faces.

"You have, a ship? You mean tell us that you've could have given us a ship and we could have left this mudhole of a planet?!"

Sledge asking in anger since all the time that they believed the group was stranded on Earth they could have taken a ship that Cecil was hiding from them. The elderly man merely smirked at them seeing how he knew if he'd shown them the ship they would have left and not be here to look after Mark.

"Honey? Maybe we can talk about asking Cecil for a ship after we handle crazy murder lion? Because our lion is looking eager for that rematch."

Poisandra stopping her boyfriend from possibly getting sent back to prison and focusing how Fury was gripping his sword tightly since when he was told about Thokk. Fury was ready to challenge him again with no hesitation, the red eyed alien groans at how she was right and that they shouldn't wait any longer. Debbie seeing how Mark decision was clear along the others, she held him tight in a hug still worried for his safety.

"You better come back, or I'm telling Eve to come after you."

Sounding both worried for his safety and telling him that if he didn't come back she'd call Eve which would be rather frightening. Having confirmation that everyone was set for the trip, all that was needed was to prepare for the trip ahead as well see where the fight will take place.

Space-Unknown Region

Having been shown the prototype ship that the GDA's had made based off several ships and rockets from NASA, Mark along Sledge's crew embarked on the coordinates that Allen shared with Sledge. So far it was a lot for Mark since this was his second time flying on a ship due to last time which involved him and Fury traveling to Mars to rescue the astronauts.

"It's been a while since I've been behind a wheel, and the controls are well polished. Not like the old ship it was coming part and sometimes the steam would come out of the pipes."

Wrench expressing a fascinated expression as the blue robot was enjoying the ship that Cecil had offered them. This earned a growl from Sledge since he loved the ship that he had since he built it with his bare hands, meanwhile for Mark he noticed how Fury was staring at the stars they were passing by since the last time he teamed up with him it allowed them to try and 'bond' since they worked together.

"So. You feel ready for this?"

Questioning the horned lion as he didn't say anything but looked at the stars as it had been a whole year since he's traveled this far from Earth. Mark didn't know how to continue his conversation as he looked at Sledge curious on what was wrong with Fury.

"Don't mind him. When I met him he was a disgraced gladiator, right now he's focusing on how he's going fight the other lion."

Giving him a brief explanation about Fury being a warrior, to which Mark could tell from how silent he was and aggressive he acted whenever he was in a fight. Which he should do so as well in which there was a beeping light appearing on screen as they were arriving towards the planet. Slowing down the thrusters they took a moment to see where the location of the planet that was on the coordinates.

"It's beautiful."

Poisandra looking at the planet hat Allen had requested for them to visit as the group saw a bright blue world with visible clouds. Mark himself was speechless at visiting another planet besides Mars as it was rather large than the planets in his solar system. Wrench took a moment to depart right into atmosphere of the world and finding where Allen wanted them, the ship soon made it's landing right onto the surface.

"Finally. A new world to step foot on again."

Sledge stating in a blissful tone since he missed traveling from planet to planet, while he may not be on a hunt it was still better than remaining on one world. Quickly checking for breathable oxygen making sure they could walk outside without exploding. The five made their way out to look at the terrain as well noticing above them was Allen descending upon them as he apparently was waiting for them.

"Now that's a set of muscles."

The pink haired alien responding to the sight of the orange skin alien due to how fit he appeared, that got Sledge to growl in silence at the comment since she never exactly met Allen this close. The cyclops looked at Invincible and Fury noticing how the young adults looked ready for the challenge.

"He should be here soon, and from how he told me about this challenge. It's suppose to be honorable, one on one.

Describing how Battle Beast desired the fight as the briefing was soon interrupted by a powerful roar in the air that caught their attention. Looking across from them was a figure in shadow appearing right threw a forest, yellow eyes glowing directly at them. Stepping out of the shadows was Spellbinder who tipped his hat towards the group while showing a wicked smile upon his beak.

"Spellbinder, should have known you'd be here. Still that lion's pet bird?"

Sledge commenting how the last time they saw him was when Battle Beast took him away in order to make his leave from Earth. Except instead of a response they saw someone else stepping out of the forest with the same yellow eyes. However unlike Spellbinder's that were both calm and focus, the other set was fueled with aggression and need for combat. Walking out they saw Battle Beast staring at them as he wore the same clothing the day where Mark saw the white lion.

"Hello, Viltrumite."

Talking directly to Invincible recognizing the scent of the species that had a history of conquering worlds and being the strongest warriors in the galaxy. While also noticing the red lion that seemingly proved he could give him a fight. Everyone stared at one another not knowing how this would proceed since the last time they met Battle Beast. Mark along Sledge and Fury almost ended up dead, either way of how the challenge will go there would be immense bone breaking and blows delivered to one another. Leading up to who would be the one to start the fight and if which one of them would survive the fight.
