"It had been an entire month since Mark and Sledge left Earth to help out whatever was happening on Thraxa, while it left Cecil frustrated since Invincible was considered Earth's only defense to whatever comes to the planet. He even considered Sledge as a potential teammate due to the amount of damage he's taken in looking after Mark and helping out with taking care of the outlaws he let loose when he arrived on Earth. Though that didn't mean his crew was on break, especially how unusual threats had started to come out of nowhere and begin terrorizing the innocent. The one who had to keep an eye on them was the Immortal, who still didn't trust the idea of them working with Cecil. However in times of crisis, he could take whatever help he can imagine against this latest threat."

Morning-Outskirts of nowhere

Away from the city limits and keeping the situation isolated away from the public was a fight occurring that has taken out several heroes who tried to stop the threat from escaping. Standing over the numerous heroes lying beaten on the ground was a tall and muscular skeletal man, who was staring at the remaining Guardians of the Globe that tried to keep up with the enemy's relentless attacks.

"Behold! The might of Omnipotus! Tremble before my unlimited power!"

He shouted in a boastful tone and looking directly towards the heroes who managed to survive his powers as he had taken out half of the heroes that was called in to handle him. Immortal was leading the charge as half of the Guardians stood together to try and wear him down so they could find a weakness they could exploit against Omnipotus.

"No."

Immortal answered the attacker's speech before he and the others took to the side as Omnipotus stomp his foot to the ground which caused the rocks to suddenly change into spikes. Charging directly towards the group, Monster Girl was able to punch through the projectiles and was able to protect her teammates. Not enough for the skeletal creature to aim the hurling rocks at them.

"Guess you and bone head have something in common Rex. You throw stuff and hope it blows up something."

Bullet joking with him as he flew around the hurling rocks and charged right towards Omnipotus but left to be grabbed by the leg and slammed towards the ground. He didn't see coming was several Duplikate's leaping on top of him and trying to blind him, only for Omnipotus to let out an energy blast from his body that disintegrated them. Fortunately, one of the Kate's was by the side trying to get the injured heroes away from the fight.

"Isn't this the time when Invincible or his alien crew comes around and save our asses?"

Shrinking Rae questioned how at the exact moment when things will be going to hell, someone would rush in to help out and save them. Coming over the girls was a new member of the guardians wearing a blue and orange suit that appeared to look similar to Martian man. Shape smith, who quickly enlarges his fists and starts attacking Omnipotus.

"What about me? I can literally change my size to squeeze him tight."

He told the girls as he does so by constricted the giant with his torso and tried to squeeze Omnipotus to where he couldn't breath. It only made the skeleton man laugh in a mocking manner before ripping Shape smith off and throwing him against the side. Turning over to see Immortal charging at him with Robot and Samson by the side, the three did their best to overpower him to only be swatted away by his reality warping abilities.

"You humans are nothing but worms to the likes of me! I shall harvest the energy of this world and conqueror all Earth's across the multiverse!"

Announcing his intentions as he was going to start by taking Samson's electricity energy due to the power he was sensing from him. Before he could take it, Omnipotus felt another being filled with electrical power coming from behind him. It was Fury who let out a roar of anger before slashing him against his face sending Omnipotus to the ground. The red alien lion looked at the villain while being accompanied by Wrench and Poisandra as the trio saw how the Guardians were having trouble with the invader.

"And here I thought you had this guy finished. He's interrupting my girl talk with Molly."

Poisandra questioning why their fight was taking this long and bringing up how she had recently been talking to the Mauler twin that Sledge brought with him after the experiment he did with Mark. Both she and Fury rushed towards Omnipotus deciding to handle the fight by themselves, Wrench however decided to help out with Robot since he required his assistance on another matter.

"Before coming here, I was doing a scan of inter-dimensional energy when we got the call from Cecil. It's possible to recreate the portal that he used to travel here and send him back. We just need him to use his powers again but with us overloading him."

Explaining the situation and showing him a device that could help return Omnipotus back to his dimension. Nodding to his suggestion, he looked over to Samson in requiring his assistance as the pair begun to build up energy to fire it towards Omnipotus. Poisandra continued to mess with the large man and attacking him further to where it infuriated him to the point where he lets out an energy burst that sent her and Fury to the ground.

"That's it! I'm going to rip you all apart atom by atom!"

He announced as he started to charge up against to use his powers towards the two, only for him to be interrupted by Samson and Robot towards Omnipotus's hands which was where he was building up his attack. It caused him to be engulfed by his own power and sent back to his realm leaving only a crater where he was left standing. Breathing steadily at handling the situation, Fury smirked at how he barely broke a sweat or even a claw from handling the attacker.

"What the hell was that?!"

Immortal shouted aggressively towards Fury since despite him and Poisandra doing their part in fighting the invader and sending back to where he came from. They didn't inform him of their arrival along with finding a way in sending him back.

"You were supposed to be with us when we arrived here. Not wait until everyone got their asses handed to them and almost killed."

He accused them of not joining the Guardians for a combined assault against Omnipotus which could have resulted in less heroes being attacked. The red lion looked over to see several of the injured humans who had gotten broken limbs and each of them bleeding from the attacks that were used on them.

"They're still breathing. More importantly that me or anyone from our crew don't listen to you, especially after Sledge left to handle business by himself."

Fury retorted back at the leader since there was bad blood between him and the former bounty hunters due to him being informed about the remaining outlaws that were hiding out either in the city or even around the world where they couldn't be found. It left the Immortal to be infuriated by his response since it was a reckless move in Cecil letting the aliens have a base of their own and doing whatever they like without supervision.

"While that might cut it from wherever you come from, it doesn't work with me. It's either work together or fall apart, otherwise stay out of it."

Immortal responded to him with an order on working together due to their leader being away without confirmation on where he went or that of returning since it had been a month since he left. Poisandra herself wanted to talk back to the leader since they didn't have a choice in keeping out due to them being watched by Cecil, yet Fury let out a growl towards the Immortal on being told what to do.

"It really irritates me when a human who gets killed twice still has the balls to talk like he knows how to fight. Apparently being ripped in half didn't help teach you on fighting, maybe I should do it myself."

The lion suggested as Fury's body began to generate electricity to intimidate Immortal, it only left the human to steady his breathing before starting another fight. Before any of them could start a fight, they heard the sound of a ship descending upon them as they were unable to recognize it. Landing near the group, the door opened up showing an unusual sight which caught both men off guard as well the remaining guardians who were able to get back up. It was Invincible who was carrying his brother in his arms as well taking a look at seeing his friends and the others needing a ride back to the city.

"Anyone need a ride?"

He asked the Guardians as Immortal said nothing but nodded his head as he asked Samson and Robot to help carry the injured into the ship. Meanwhile, Mark walked over to the aliens where they were speechless at him appearing out of nowhere and having a baby in his arms.

"He's so adorable! You have to let me hold him; I promise I won't squeeze him. Please!"

Poisandra pleading to Mark since she fell head over heels for his little brother as Invincible lets her hold him, but carefully since everything was new to the infant and the creatures around him. While she was distracted with the purple skin baby, Mark needed to talk with him about what happened to him during his stay on Thraxa.

"He shares a lot of similarities to you Mark. But what happened? Where did he come from? And where's Sledge?"

Wrench questioned quietly due to the Guardians continuing to bring in the injured onto the ship to help shorten the trip to the GDA medics. The question alone changed the look on Mark's face since there was much to talk about, more importantly who captured Sledge and that of his father. Who he couldn't talk about since there were many people here who'd enjoy the same man that killed the original guardians and numerous other innocents far away from them. The best thing that Mark could do was explain what happened and get answers from either Wrench or Fury about the mysterious alien that was with the Viltrumites that abducted his father and Sledge to then leave him the mission of preparing their arrival to Earth.

Later-Sledge's Base

Returning back to their base and inviting over Mark's mother who was relieved and scared at the same time when he returned from space. She was right now contemplating on Nolan having another kid with a woman that is now an old woman due to her biology of aging rapidly. While she was taking a moment to look after the kid, Mark had explained to the others about the incident on Thraxa along with Sledge and Nolan being taken. Each of them expressed a different emotion to the moment such as Fury agitated that Singe was here in this galaxy, Poisandra being afraid of what could be happening to her boyfriend and Wrench concerned on how he was able to travel here.

"I can't believe that devil looking asshole is here. Especially if he's hooked up with those Viltrumites you talked about."

Fury contemplates how he shared a rivalry with Singe back in the galaxy they came from which resulted in local streets and towns destroyed due to their fights. While the lion was having a problem with it, Mark looked at Wrench to get a better understanding of who Singe was.

"Not many people know of his origin. But they say that he was born from a planet that went supernova, the radiation allowed him to absorb its energy to eventually become a walking inferno. He gets constant headaches because he can't keep it within him."

The robot explained what most people believe where Singe had come from along how powerful he was due to him hearing about his flare attack that Mark saw use his projectile attack on him. It was much for him to take in and seeing Poisandra not strangling him for losing her boyfriend and having him taken away to be tortured by another group of people that weren't fond of outsiders.

"Well that's comforting. Maybe we shouldn't tell him about what we found out after you and Sledge brought in Molly after blowing up a building."

She spoke which caught Mark off guard as he was confused about what Poisandra met as the two decided to bring him over to meet their guest which he hadn't time to see due to focusing on college and his ordinary life. Wrench guided Mark down to the living room where the four saw Professor Strickler who was teaching Curio and Mark's baby brother about the solar system. Near the table was Debbie along with the female Mauler who have seemed to be having a conversation during the lesson.

"Mark. This is Molly Mauler, one of the many variants of Mauler's you met during that experiment you and Sledge interrupted. Along someone who knows about you and Omni man."

Fury stated as the muscular blue woman took a moment to see Invincible as well smirk at him being here since she woke up to be welcomed by the aliens. Taking a moment to examine the boy and make him feel uneasy since the last time he saw her along the other twins, they were close into killing him. The only thing Molly did was punch his shoulder lightly and showing a smirk on her face.

"With what your mom told me about you and not being a homicidal alien like the Invincible I know. It was lucky of me that I'd didn't kill you."

Stating to him as it surprised Mark on this side of her since he didn't expect a Mauler to act like this. He looked over to his mother confused by the sudden change in personality and that of not trying to kill him nor taking the base for herself.

"It's alright Mark. We've been talking recently after she woke up about how our world's are different, especially how she's considered a hero back home. While it's disturbing to know that there's an evil you somewhere around, I'm glad I was able to convince her that you're not like the others. Also she makes a good cup of coffee."

Debbie helping out her son on how she was able to convince Molly on not attacking him and learning about the variety of multiple earths. It seemed the more she had gotten involved Mark's superhero life, the more she was able to get back to her normal and optimistic self before learning about Nolan's true identity. Though she would need more support since the reveal of Mark's half brother which took her by surprise.

"While you and Sledge left, we've been learning much from Molly about the device you helped destroyed. It was designed to make the user an 'ultimate life form' that would have the intelligence of a hundred worlds. We didn't tell Cecil since he'd want to lock her up like the other Maulers, so we told him that we'd be responsible for her stay here since she could help us out."

Wrench told him about what they've been doing when he left Earth as it made Mark stress since the last thing he'd want to think about was another version of himself that might have joined with Nolan and destroyed Earth. He had already seen what three Viltrumites could do to a planet by themselves, he didn't want to imagine himself doing what they did to Thraxa. While he wanted to try and relax from coming back to possibly make up time for being away, they suddenly heard lighting coming from behind them as it was Cecil who teleported right into the base as he took everyone by surprise.

"Hello Mark. Although it be good to say welcome back, I didn't agree with this trip. Especially how you lost Sledge and bring back a kid, presumably your half brother due to the similarities you have with him."

The director spoke right to the point as the trip wasn't notified by him and losing Sledge along the way. Mark's friends weren't fond of how he brought up that it was his fault for losing Sledge as it left Cecil to not say anything seeing how his mother was there as well.

"What do you want Cecil?"

Questioning the director's arrival since the look on his face expressed an interest in him doing something that was important needed his strength. Pulling out his tablet and activating it, a screen shows up showing a video from one of his satellites showing what looked like a Martian cruiser several light years away coming directly towards Earth.

"Several hours ago we got confirmation from NASA about this ship coming to Earth. However, my people were able to figure out who or exactly what is driving it."

He explained the ship drifting through space as he changes the screen to show a 3D rendering of the interior along showing what looked like several thousand tentacled like creatures lurking across the hallways. The render continued to lead towards what seemed to be the command deck where Fury was able to recognize the creature driving it.

"Sting Rage?!"

Fury exclaimed in anger at the suppose alien that they believed had died by the emperor of Mars survived and is flying to Earth what seemed like the squid aliens they came to contact when they went to save the astronauts.

"One of the guardians' latest members is apparently from Mars and has been trying to take up the mantle of Martian man. He's confirmed that these sequids have taken over him and he's leading an invasion to Earth. Half of the guardians are leaving to handle it, and they're going need someone that can resist them."

Cecil summarizing what was going on and gesturing to Invincible how could withstand their control as it led Debbie to stand up and shout at him for not taking her son after coming back from space. Before any of them could tell Cecil he wasn't going, Mark stopped them since this was his decision and wanted to say something to him after feeling intimidated by someone powerful than him. Walking over to look at the old man straight in the eyes, the director could tell he was different when he came back and couldn't tell he was about to threaten him or decline.

"If I go. Then know I'm not doing it for you or the GDA, but to make sure you don't try anything on my brother. Because you're laying a hand on him."

He responded to the request due to how he needed Earth ready for what's coming and not let anything happen to it. While adding onto not letting Cecil near his half-brother since he would suggest watching over him and planting some type of device to have control over the infant. The old man nodded slightly agreeing with the terms as well gestured by Wrench who wanted to have his say in the conversation.

"I believe I should attend this mission. Including Fury who's seen them close up and withstand their manipulation, couldn't help but being another mechanical being to avoid the mission going awry."

Offering his hand in joining this dangerous mission while Fury growled in an annoyed expression for getting dragged into another space mission again. The director nodded to the robot's offer since it be a complicated matter since a small team would be needed to handle the upcoming sequids. Though there was a catch to the offer since he needed several others in looking after the city, meaning some of the team would have to work with the remaining Guardians that stay here and look after the city.

Night Time-Rocket Station

Several hours after Cecil had put together the strongest team to handle the Sequid invasion that was coming to Earth, the remaining Guardians of the Globe were watching the rocket taking off as the ones who were left was Rex Splode with the addition of Shrinking Rae and Duplikate. The trio watched their teammates going off into space not knowing what they'd be up against but know that they'd handle it while leaving looking after the city to themselves.

"So you two may not know this, or acknowledge it any way, but this guy's now the ranking Guardian on Earth."

Rex stated to them of how he was their top member in the team due to his explosive capabilities. The girls merely groan at how he was trying to be smooth and bragging about being more experienced than they were. Pulling out the keys to their modified hoverbike, Rex showed them a list of things they'd do while the others were away.

"Since it's night time and no one is starting up shit. I suggest we do what we did back when me and Duplikate were Teen Team members, such as rent a bunch of old movies and order a large amount of pizza."

He started listing several things since things could be quiet for the next several hours as he was going take it as a chance to act lazy. Just as it seemed harmless and wouldn't partaking in the activity, the trio heard some rustling coming from a trash can which made them go into battle stance. Unsure of what was watching them, they heard what sounded like running come behind Rex.

"Rae!"

Shouted an excited tone as Rex turned to see what looked like Green Ghost back from the dead and about to attack him. Only for the ghost to phase through him and hug Shrinking Rae to which it wasn't the Green Ghost that got killed by Omni man. It was Curio who was wearing her costume and was able to use the same powers the deceased hero used during her time in the original line up of the Guardians.

"Curio? How do you have Green Ghost's costume, even her powers? More to the point of what of your doing here?"

Duplikate questioned the patch work monster's sudden change of costume and looking confused about what got him to pose as the heroine. He didn't listen as he enjoyed being in the company of Shrinking Rae due to her being a friend of his, but soon noticed how the others were curious about the change in appearance.

"Cecil said that since it be just the three of you, that Poisandra would have to join to help with whatever crime could happen. She decided since we were hooking up with the Guardians than we should wear something different. I found several pieces of green candy that the green lady used to eat. I can go through things!"

Summarizing what was happening and how it seemed he decided to act like Green Ghost as he lets go of Rae to quickly sink into the ground due to his phasing ability. They saw how Curio was enjoying himself as he was appearing across the ground like a gopher, only for Duplikate to split up and stop him so he didn't get carried away. Rex on the other hand shook his head at the aliens hooking up with them to help give them muscle for any possible crimes.

"Look squirt. We've done this longer than you and can handle it without the cheerleader and mascot, so how about you go home and watch something that can help make your brain bigger."

Responding to Curio's reason as well suggesting him to go home since it be ridiculous to have him running around acting like a sidekick. While it didn't seem much of an issue, Rae and Kate wouldn't mind it since having Curio and Poisandra could help out since they've done so in the past. Just before they could have their say of the two joining up, they heard the sound of the sound barrier breaking as they saw a pink flash running around the place. Rushing over to stop in front of the group, it was Poisandra wearing a button up jacket showing her heart symbol along it appearing the same suit that Red Rush wore before updating his suit. The color palette was dark pink and black to show a serious side of her.

"His brain is already big. Not much I can say for the rest of you."

Making a remark towards Rex as the others couldn't help but laugh at the joke as it make the explosive hero remember how it was the same joke that Monster Girl used on him. Before responding back at Poisandra, their vehicle began to get a message from Cecil as there was a break in happening at a nearby military base that required their attention.

"Alright then Clueless. You want to join then that's fine with me, just don't die on us for whatever ass we kick."

Rex stated to Poisandra and Cyril as he got into his vehicle along the others as they got a head start towards the military base. Smirking at the challenge, she grabbed Curio and quickly followed their ship as the three saw the pink flash catching up with them and running towards the military base where Cecil needed them to be. Arriving to the scene, they soon see the base ransacked and noticing numerous guards killed along with the intruders as it seemed like a firefight had happened.

"These are Lizard League grunts. I thought we'd handle them weeks ago."

Duplikate questioned the dead soldier as it was strange for them to make a comeback after handling them numerous times in the past. The group made their way down the hallway where they noticed a shocking side that got Curio nervous, it was several guards that had been turned to stone and smashed across the floor. Poisandra suddenly felt horrified as she was able to recognized who was responsible for these deaths.

"Badussa. This is bad, if these people hooked up with him then we're in trouble. He can turn anything and anyone into stone, whatever you do don't look at his eyes."

She warned them as Poisandra walked over to Curio's bag to pull out several pairs of shades and give them to the three in order to protect themselves. Hearing the alarms going off, they rushed over to check where the Lizard League was up to as they saw their leader Lizard King along numerous of his followers near the control panel that was connected to the missile silos. He noticed the unmistakable team as the green skin man laughed in a mocking expression of how he didn't expect anyone to stop them.

"This is what is considered 'heroes' these days? I've been gone for too long and let the league faulty because of their weakness. But now it's time to show the fury of their leader back in command, Lizard League. Crush them!"

Their leader shouted as his battle cry encouraged his team to rush towards the guardians to prepare them for a fight. The five engaged the soldiers along fighting the King's main members such as Komodo, Salamander and Iguana. Curio was avoiding getting into visible contact with the soldiers as he merely phased through the soldiers and stuck them within walls in order to prevent getting hurt or having them shoot at his friends. The others were handling Lizard King's forces with Duplikate cloning herself and overwhelming Komodo, but the giant was ripping through the girl without breaking a sweat. Shrinking Rae was handling Salamander as she quickly shrank quickly and entered directly into his head, only for her to mess around from within and destroy his inside leading to killing him within seconds. Getting out to see Curio watching the sight and covered in blood, Rae could tell she had traumatized him.

"I'm sorry you had to see that. But right now try and find any survivors and get them out. Will handle this."

Telling him to do something than be apart of this bloody fight as she saw Poisandra handling Iguana and Rex getting overwhelmed by Komodo. Deciding to try and do the same attack, she was quickly grabbed in midair and quickly devoured. The group was horrified by the sight and saw how Rae struggled to expand from within the large man's body, only for him to control his muscles and stop her from exploding his insides and killing her from within.

"Yum."

He spoke in a sadistic manner and kicking Rex away as saw Curio petrified by him and decided to have seconds. The patchwork boy was unable to do anything due to seeing his friend killed in a horrific manner, the large man grabbed him by the collar and raised him in midair and started to scare him.

"Don't worry kid. You'll be joining your 'little' friend."

Mocking Curio for eating Rae as he unhinged his jaw and was ready to bite his face. This only lead to a scream coming from behind h as Komodo turns around to see his team member Iguana cut in half by Poisandra as her scythe was covered in blood.

"I just lost my boyfriend. And I'm not losing any more friends to a bunch of snake skin bastards!"

Poisandra roared in anger as her eyes lite up pink before running directly into Komodo which forced him to let go of Curio. Seeing Poisandra angry and deciding to run from the fight, the pink hearted alien used her speed to slice the large man's body trying to cut his limbs off. His skin was durable enough to withstand her weapon, but couldn't withstand the speed that was aimed at him as it felt like getting run over by a motorcycle several hundred times. Cutting to cut Komodo further, she slices his ankle joints making him collapse on the ground and onto his knees. Having been consumed with rage, Poisandra didn't notice him using his strength to strike her in the stomach which made her unable to breath. Going for the killing blow at the speedster, he barely heard Rex coming from behind to throw an explosive in his mouth. Grabbing onto his hand and bitting it off, Poisandra quickly grabbed Rex off Komodo before seeing the large man's head explode in a gruesome manner. The injured duo saw themselves surrounded by numerous clones of Duplikate and that of the Lizard League members as it was too much to handle, it was stopped by the clapping from Komodo King as he smirked at how they had managed to kill his people.

"So brave. But is it the brave who survives or is it the one who waits until his opponent is too injured to fight?"

The king asked them as he moved to the side where hiding from the shadow was one of Sledge's prisoners that had align himself with the lizards. Remembering his yellow eyes and tendril style hair, Rex was unable to stand due to his injury while Poisandra was having trouble stand due to the punch Komodo had given her. The two didn't know what they could at the moment, but were glad that Curio escaped so he could avoid seeing another set of his friends dying at the hands of a ruthless enemy.
