"Mark was in a predicament that was in front of him. There was a deformed man in his mother's living room and holding both his mother and half baby brother hostage. What took him by surprise was how he was able to realize that he was Invincible and knew where he lived, leaving him to think that this was personal due to how he was staring him down with patience and aggression aimed towards him. With having no way to call for backup and a chance to get them out of harm's way, Mark had no choice but to listen to whatever the attacker might want from him. He only hope that there was a defuse the situation before Oliver was hurt in the confrontation."

Night Time-Marks Home

All was silent in the house and with Mark staring at Angstrom with his family in danger, especially being unable to get them out of the way since it seemed he could hurt the two before he could try anything. Watching the man's movements carefully, he saw Angstrom moving to his wristwatch where he presses a button which caused Mark's ear comm and phone to short circuit and break.

"We wouldn't want anyone interrupting this moment. Especially those aliens you hang out with all the time along the bounty hunter that's partially responsible for my condition."

He expressed his desire to keep this issue to themselves without bringing in anyone here to ruin the moment. Looking over at his mom who was comforting Oliver to the best of her capability due to how frightening the situation was for the child.

"Look. I don't care who you are or even how you figured out my identity. But just let mother and brother go, they have nothing to do with this."

Mark tried to defuse the situation which caused Angstrom to act up twitched in an aggressive way due to how the masked boy responded to him. The way he responded towards him caused his mind to react violently due to the memories of Invincible killing him numerous times in different timelines.

"My name. Is Angstrom Levy, and you made me into a monster when you destroyed my machine!"

He yelled in outrage of how Mark didn't know him as he threw Debbie across the side with Oliver in her arms. Despite keeping him close, Oliver's head impacted on the floor that left him to cry out in pain. Seeing his half-brother injured, Mark desperately tried to keep his anger in check due to how Levy had the advantage and could hurt them further.

"I was going save the world with the best minds from hundreds of dimensions to make this Earth better. But you took that away from me! And gave me this to remind my failure!"

Levy accused Mark of being responsible for destroying the machine that he was a part of and had remembered it blowing up that caused the deaths of the Mauler variants and numerous other people in the building. Despite hearing the accusation and being responsible for what's happening, Mark's mind was right now only focused on hearing his brothers crying and wanting to attack Levy for what he did. The deformed man noticed his facial expression on his face and could see there was no point in explaining as he saw the anger slowly coming out from the young man.

"If you want payback. Then come and get me."

He taunted Mark as the half Viltrumite took him up on the offer and was going fly him out of the house and get them far away from his family. What Mark didn't expect was Levy opening up a green portal in front of him which left him unprepared and Mark flying straight through. Not knowing where he was going, Mark accidentally appeared in another location as he was outside in the daytime. Confused by what was happening, he noticed the doorway slowly disappearing.

"No! Don't do this!"

Mark shouted at Angstrom before the portal had disappeared on him entirely leaving the boy stranded in the middle of nowhere. Confused at how he could get back home and trying his best to not get frustrated, he heard that of ruffling sounds coming from the bushes. Walking out was an unusual set of creatures that looked Jurassic but humanoid shaped.

"Hey folks. Not trying to start anything, but you should know if you attack me. It's not going be good for any of you."

He attempted to convince them into not trying to attack him due to how weak they looked. To which they didn't respond and attacked Mark with no hesitation, having no choice but to engage. Mark defended himself from their blades and saw they had no issue in trying to kill him. Unfortunately, Mark wasn't intimidated by them and punches one of them hard enough to send the creature into the ground and comes apart.

"The hell? Your all robots?"

Confused on them being robotic since there were no signs of human life around here. It was cut short by a beam of energy attacking him, Mark collapsed on his knees as he felt like his brain was bleeding from the inside. Holding his head in pain and trying to ignore it, Mark looked at his attacker as it was a dinosaur humanoid wearing black garments and was responsible for the mental attack.

"A human that's able to destroy my Tyrannodrones in one blow. Curious, but not impressive."

The dinosaur spoke in a hissing tone as Mark could care less about his fascination in him. Struggling to stand on his feet due to the mental attack he was receiving, he stomps on the ground which causes the creature to cease his attack and move away from Mark's incredible strength.

"I could give a shit on what you made. Or what the hell you even are."

Mark responded back at him as the dinosaur male growled at how he spoke at him with disrespect. Raising his right claw in the air, Mark was quickly surrounded by more Tyrannodrones and that of different dinosaur hybrids that looked at the human with hunger in their eyes.

"I am Mesogog. Ruler of Prehistoric Earth, and you. Will be an interesting subject to dissect back at my lab."

He introduced himself to Mark before letting out a blood curling roar as Mesogog rushed at the costumed human preparing to fight him. Annoyed at getting caught in another fight, Mark would attempt in ending it quick. Though was taken by surprise on how relentless Mesogog was and how he was able to avoid his punches, it left Mark unprepared at how the hybrid slashes through his chest.

"Another mad scientist. That's just what I needed!"

Mark shouted before going for the blow to knock out Mesogog as the hybrid was ready for the impact. To his surprise, the same portal that Levy opened back at the house appeared in front of him as he suddenly flies through and lands back in his house. Confused at how he came back, Mark looked over seeing his mother on the ground injured and Levy holding Oliver in his arms.

"Welcome back. It's an interesting power I have don't you think? I can travel to any dimension or world I like, each with a different outcome. Especially the ones that involve you and being responsible for destroying half of them. But it surprises me that this one, isn't involve in any of them. Must be the golden child."

He explained his powers to Mark on how the half Viltrumite had visited another Earth that seemed to be ruled by dinosaur hybrids. Though it didn't matter since he was focused on getting Oliver away from Levy since he was now dangerous to not be around by. Continuing to notice how Mark looked at him, Levy prepared another portal for Mark if he attempted to attack him with Oliver in his arms.

"I have no intention of hurting your brother or your mother. Your little family is safe. For now, but if you really want to save these two. Do me a favor and die!"

Levy shouted at him before opening another portal below Mark's feet and sends him flying into another dimension. Handing Oliver over to Debbie and waiting silently to bring back the half Viltrumite, he noticed how the mother was trying to comfort the baby due to how frightening it was. Levy merely laughed at how it was pointless in trying to comfort Oliver with what was happening in front of him.

"There's no way to know that for sure. What kind of mother lies to her son like that?"

He questioned Debbie on what the point was on convincing the baby about it being possible that things would be alright for him. She said nothing due to how unstable he was and how'd he would try to use his powers on them, before deciding to question about how it was pointless. Levy opened a portal which showed Mark flying out of the portal covered in webs and was in another fight. Huffing at how tireless it be to try and fight through multiple dimensions, Mark decided to talk to him since he was able to remember the night carefully despite being caught in the explosion.

"I'm sorry I didn't remember you, but I remember that night. You were trying to save me."

Mark recollecting the night as he remembered both him and Sledge almost overwhelmed with Maulers before Angstrom decided to end the fight by interrupting the experiment. Hearing the words coming from caused Angstrom to lose his confidence and control over the moment as he tried to focus if what he said was true.

"Maybe the accident changed you, but you were a good person trying to do a good thing."

He continued to help Levy possibly stop this before things escalated and someone could get hurt or worse. Despite his best intention in defusing the situation, Levy's expression changed to unhinged to where he was consumed by rage which left Mark unsure of what he'd do next.

"Trying, to save you? After the lives you've taken from me? Of all the people you've killed and tormented across numerous dimensions? Never!"

Levy accused him before opening a larger portal that sucked Mark right into before disappearing from the house again. With him out of the house and it being quiet again, Levy collapsed on the floor trying to recollect from the night when he and numerous of his various selves had perished in the explosion. Gripping the side of his brain and struggling to get the memory from what happened, Levy was able to see one of his versions at the center of the chair where he saw Invincible and Sledge getting overwhelmed by the Maulers.

"I won't build my utopia in blood!"

He said before ruining the experiment and caused the explosion to happen. With seeing the memory happened, it caused a set of numerous memories to come into Levy's mind which showed him losing his wives, husbands, children and friends to that of Invincible and his forces. Each of them more painful than the last, Angstrom screams in rage of how there was no chance that Mark was sorry for he did to him.

"I would never save him! He's a monster! A killer! And needs to die now!"

Announcing as he'd kill him with his bare hands as Levy opened a portal to see what was happening to Mark. It left the masked teen to come out delivering a punch directly into his face and sent Levy into the kitchen. Debbie saw how Mark's clothing was torn up as he's been struggling to survive in whatever dimension he was sent to. Walking over to him and agitated on what he's been doing to him, Mark lifted him up and pressed Levy against the fridge.

"I'm through with playing games. You want me? Then fine. But we're doing this away from my family!"

Mark declared how this was between him and him alone. Seeing this and how he could snape his neck, Levy had a portal around Debbie and Oliver if Mark tried to kill him with one move. Backing away from Levy to let him breath, he continued to have the portal around the mother and child to keep the Viltrumite at bay.

"Your family is responsible for countless deaths across numerous dimensions. There even some where your mother is glad your a killer, she's a traitor to her own people."

He spoke at Debbie's involvement since Levy had seen numerous versions of the woman who stood by Invincible and Omni man who ravaged the earth hundreds of times. With having heard him and seeing him trying to be the victim in the situation, it left Debbie to come up with a way to help Mark give him the chance to Levy out of the house and the chance to escape.

"And that makes you innocent? So far the entire night you've talked about how Mark's evil in every dimension and your the good one. But right now, you can't stand the idea that in this dimension. He's the hero, and your the villain."

Debbie responded to him how despite knowing how Nolan turned out and having help make Mark different from his father. He would never become what Levy said since she had witnessed this night that Angstrom was the one who was the monster. Having heard her and unable to accept the ideal of him being the one causing pain to someone that is important to the man responsible for his loved one's death. Levy opened a portal and made the two disappear in front of Mark eyes. Smiling at what he'd had done, Levy didn't see a fist engaging into his face and hurling him out of the house and into the street.

"Where did they go?! Where are they!"

Mark yelled in anger as he walked over to what Angstrom had done and was going to force him in bringing them back. Though before he could make him answer, Levy punched the Viltrumite in the face which forced Mark to move back as he was stunned by the surprise strength coming out of nowhere from him.

"I don't know. That's the thing about my powers, I need to focus on where I send someone. Because what she said, it could be anywhere. Who knows? Maybe a world filled with zombies. But their the least of your concern!"

Levy announced before punching him across another opened portal as the two fall straight in to appear in another dimension. They were in midair over several mountains where the two continued to fight each other to where they continued to travel again in another dimension. It was spontaneous for Mark as he couldn't focus on fighting back due to the constant traveling they were doing.

"All that time sending you across dimensions was to soften you up for me to deliver killing blow."

He stated before they traveled to a desert world where he had Mark crash into the ground and making a crater. Landing right over to seeing the boy bleeding and injured, he started to strangle him as he finally had the chance to end him.

"Know that once I'm done. I'll make sure to hunt down your mother and brothers and kill them before they destroy your world. So that for once, there won't be a place for Invincible to ruin anyone else's lives!"

Angstrom continued to tell Mark how he would be his world's destroyer and go after Debbie and Oliver once he was finished with him. Having enough of his accusations and being called a threat by the madman, Mark broke free from his hands and delivered an uppercut that sent Angstrom into the air at Mach speed. Unable to open a portal, he saw Mark coming from the behind at full force.

"You have no idea what I've been through! How much I've been holding back! Letting people fight my battles for me!"

Mark shouted at Levy as he sent the man crashing to the ground and making a crater. Having trouble standing up from the plummet, he looked up to see Mark landing directly onto him and started to throw punch after punch onto his face. He tried to stop Mark from continuing but was unable to due to as his hands dropped to the floor where he took the punches.

"I'll never let anyone! Threaten my family or friends! Ever! Again!"

He announced before delivering one last punch that shook the area around them. Mark took a moment before realizing that his tantrum had caused him to cave in Angstrom's face to the point where he was dead right underneath him. Shaking at what he'd done and possibly leaving his mother and brother stranded somewhere across the dimensions he's traveled to, Mark started to let out a laughter before holding his head in for what he'd just done.

"I thought you were stronger. You were supposed to be stronger!"

Mark called out at the deceased man how he was supposed to survive his attacks since he'd claimed that he was ready for him. Only to now be dead by his hands, which the sight made him remember when his father had him in this position and claimed that protecting the earth was meaningless. Standing upwards and unable to contend with his actions, Mark decided to take a walk away from the dead body and to contemplate on what he's done.

Night Time

Having taken several hours to get away from Levy's body and somewhere where he could find water. Mark was tired and out of breath from how long it took to get away from what he'd just did this morning. Finding a nearby sight where he was able to start a fire, the half Viltrumite stared the flame to try and hope that wherever his mother and Oliver where at would be better than the places he'd visited to. Thinking or not this would be the place where he'd died, it seemed right for how it could be the best place for him to be since this was the first time he killed someone. Continuing to think to himself, he saw a portal opening up in front of him where he saw someone flying right out of it. To Mark's eyes it was the webslinger that he'd met just when Angstrom had sent him.

"Hey there bud. There's someone here that wants to meet you."

He said with a smile before moving to the side to see his mother with several bandages wrapped around her and smiling at how she found Mark. Shocked at her alive and looked after, the boy rushed over to hug her since he believed he might have possibly killed her. Confused by where Oliver was at, the two looked over and saw another surprising reveal. It showed a matured Atom Eve along with several different Guardians of the Globe members and a robot with several tools around his belt.

"Bra-Bra!"

Oliver cried out as Eve walked over to handed Mark his little brother before taking a look at the young man to see him covered in bruises and blood. Without taking a second, she was able to generate a set of normal clothing for him as well patch up his injuries. Except for the bruised eye he received from Angstrom.

"A deal's a deal Agent Spider. I help track down the kid and find a version of the team that he knows where he'd be if had killed someone. To which in return, you'd let me go."

The robot had claimed that with his effort and technology, he was able to locate a version of the Guardians as well find Debbie and Oliver. The webslinger sighed at the robot as he walked over to his wrist band where there was a collar on him. Pressing several buttons on it, the collar falls right off him.

"Your free Scrozzle. But your only allowed to stay in my world. If I hear you messing around, then I'm coming back and locking you up."

He told the robot as he nods before opening up a portal for Mark and the others to their own dimension so they could return home. With that being said, Mark was ready to go back home with his mother and half-brother. Though not before being stopped by mature Eve who needed to speak to him about an important matter.

"Remember what you said about needing to tell me something important before leaving? Tell her right away. Because you and her, potentially me. Have to stay together for what's coming. And know whatever she goes through, she'll love you. No matter what."

Mature Eve warned him how Mark had to be with her through and through with the potential threats that would come to his dimension. Having said that and moving away, the Guardians looked at the Grayson family preparing to make their way back home to possibly rebuild their home again after having it destroyed again. Not before being accompanied by Agent Spider who decided to join them.

"Sorry to ruin the moment. But you happen to have someone back in your dimension I know, she's blue and big. Might have an issue with authorities, kind of want to check up on her while she's staying there."

He spoke about Molly Mauler as the two didn't respond but allowed him to come with him since its the least they could do for having reuniting them again. With that being handled, Scrozzle made the portal disappear while opening up another portal for the Guardians to return back home.

"Let's leave already. I want to enjoy my freedom before I get dragged in something else."

The robot complained before walking into the portal to enjoy his freedom as well being accompanied by the team of heroes. Mature Eve still felt concern that she knew several things that were coming Mark's way since she was from an alternate dimension where Mark had left, in which the outcome wasn't well since the Earth fell to numerous threats that showed no mercy to them. Despite with what he'd did, he'll need to accept not holding back if he wishes to continue to protect his family.

Outer Space-Viltrumite Prison Ship

Meanwhile in a spaceship that was lightyears away from any nearby planets was where Nolan Grayson was being sentenced for his crimes against the Viltrum empire. There were several alarms going off in one of the rooms and robot guards armed with rifles trying to locate what seemed like a potential prisoner trying to escape. It was the exact opposite as Nolan was right now taking the robots and ripping them a part piece by piece till there was nothing left. His hands stained in oil and his face covered in bruises, he'd been in the room for hours fighting half of the robots that was sent directly at him.

"Excellent. You've survived."

A voice broke Nolan's train of thought as he looked over to see General Kregg staring at him with a calm expression and seemed impressed that Nolan was able to stand on his feet after facing the guards. Walking with the general were two Viltrumite guards who saw the bodies that he'd destroyed around them, seeing that he hadn't forgot his training.

"As you know Nolan. The council states that in order for a Viltrumite to be executed, he must be whole and intact, worthy to stand and face the end of his life at full strength."

He explained how this was a test to see if Nolan hadn't become weak after he was taken in back on Thraxa and soften by its people. Taking a moment to rest on his knees, the general could tell he was fit to be punished for his crimes back on their home world. Looking over at the guards by his side, Kregg ordered him to return him back to his cell so they could eventually return back to Viltrum. Walking over to pick up the warrior, the two noticed how Nolan resisted on being pulled by them.

"Sir. Please, I've looked up to you since I was a child. I don't want to hurt you."

The soldier stated since Nolan was praised by Viltrum for being its greatest soldiers. Even after he betrayed them, there was much respect for the old man. Instead of resisting to return back to his cell, Nolan stood on his feet and cracked his bones which meant he was able to breath normal after the constant fighting.

"I've accepted my fate long ago. I want walk to my cell on my own."

Nolan explained to the two soldiers how he'd be ready to face his judgement back on Viltrum. Though he wouldn't want to be looked down on or anything that would disgrace their name, to which he soon returns back to his cell where he'd wait to return back to Viltrum. Just as Nolan was dealing with his punishment, Sledge was being treated differently by Singe who had been torturing the bounty hunter for hours.

"Despite being around a whole race of warriors that enjoy wiping out planets. It's good to enjoy quality time without any interruptions. Don't you think?"

Singe asked as he aimed his sword at the tip of Sledge's neck as he had been disarmed of his blaster, armor and anything that he'd use as a weapon against his captors. The red eyed alien said nothing since there was no point in talking back due to the predicament he was in surrounded by people who could rip his head off without even batting an eye.

"Oh well. If your going be like that, I might as well hang around Kregg and see when will arrive on Viltrum. Can't wait to see how they'll cut you up to see how you can grow big."

He stated with a smirk before leaving the room to leave the hunter with his wounds and injures as the green skin alien groans at having to endure the past hour of being treated badly. Leaning his head against the wall, Sledge turned to the side annoyed at how he'd have to endure another annoyance since his stay here on the prison ship.

"Hey. Cyclops, you still breathing?"

Sledge mentally called out as his prison roommate was Allen, who'd been recently captured by Anissa last week after traveling their way and not knowing who they were when he fought them. Allen was in several chains that were able to keep him locked and unable to break free due to his recent change in size and strength.

"Yeah, I'm breathing. Just waiting for our other friend in coming back, its not exactly fun talking to someone whose done this hundreds of times. Kind of ironic don't you think?"

Allen responded back to Sledge since it was different for the bounty hunter to be locked up in a cell due to how he did it to numerous of outlaws he's captured before coming to earth. He didn't respond since Allen was right, but also right about waiting for Nolan to return since he was able to speak to him mentally. With the Viltrumite returning to his cell, Nolan was annoyed at how he was able to hear Allen and Sledge's thoughts.

"You can talk to the bounty hunter alone alien. I'm not interested."

Nolan told him how he was able to figure out that his immense strength and ability of flight was him being an agent of the Coalition of Planets. Meaning that he could have been after him since Nolan remembered his people responsible for killing Allen's species.

"I think you don't understand that we're on the same side. Especially how Mark told me about you turning on the empire, I tried to enlist him but things went differently as it seems."

He expressed his reason of being intrigued by Nolan which caught the father's attention of hearing how the Coalition wanted to bring him in. The look on Nolan's face changed to a serious one due to how he wanted Mark away from them.

"Leave him out of this, this isn't his fight. Let the boy have a moment of peace."

Responded on whether or not he wanted Mark to stay away from the fight, its the least he could do to prevent him from possible becoming a killer like himself. It earned a groan from Sledge since it seemed impossible for Mark to get the peace that Nolan wanted for him.

"There's not going be any peace now since the one that hired me is here and is working with the Viltrumites. And how half of the outlaws I had captured were meant to be sent by him, especially Snide. So he'll eventually see Mark, whether you like or not."

Sledge mentally told Nolan how the employer he worked for had formed an alliance to track down the outlaws that he'd captured and be returned to him. It made no sense to Nolan but couldn't do anything since he didn't know what he was anymore after leaving the Earth.

"I don't think I'm not a Viltrumite anymore. Not really. I feel shame and regret for my actions. I see the suffering of lesser beings, and it. Upsets me, deeply."

He told the two that there were emotions that he'd never expect to feel after thousands of years of being loyal to Empire. That whenever he visited a planet, he focused on the expansion of his home and that of his people. Sledge and Allen listen as they could tell despite him being full rested and back to his prime, he was emotionally scarred.

"What I did on Earth. The pain and destruction, I caused was immeasurable. What I did to those people. What I did to my son. I deserve death."

Nolan spoke out on regretting his actions towards the people who were his friends and others who looked up to him. Sledge was annoyed that it took Nolan this long for him to accept the monster he was and how this what it felt like to be responsible for what he'd did. Nolan raised his head to look at the stars and possibly where Earth was located at, thinking about something else in this moment of epiphany.

"And yet. I think, I miss my wife."

Stated in a sad tone that despite what he's done and responsible for the lives he's taken. He missed Debbie, who was the sole reason for why he became Omni man as well living on Earth for so long. Especially to the point where'd he almost forgot his mission, to which left him to be silent again. Meanwhile for the two alien prisoners, they could only wait for a chance to make a move before returning to Viltrum and meeting Sledge's employer. Who would be fascinated to learn about where his prisoners were and who Invincible was.
