Chapter 178
The Professor's Downfall
Continuation:
About 5 blocks away from the warehouse.. Kimberly is running, and I mean fast.. She stops to catch her breath..
Kimberly-Oh where am I going!? Maybe..
She is interrupted due to something rubbing up against her pants leg. She looks down and notices it's a white fluffy cat.. She says.
Kimberly-I'm sorry cat. I don't have time to play.
The cat rubs harder up against Kimberly's pants leg.. And suddenly, Kimberly begins to think.
Kimberly-Hmm. Are you trying to tell me something?
The white cat rushes away from Kimberly, then returns to rub on her leg.. It continues to do this until Kimberly follows it. She says.
Kimberly-I think this might work.
The cat takes Kimberly right to the warehouse and then disappears.. At the front entrance.. Kimberly tries to look through the cracked doors but she can't really see anything.. She turns to thank the cat but gasps when she finds out its gone. She starts to hear voices coming from inside of the warehouse, very faint yet recognizable voices sounding very distraught.. She says to herself.
Kimberly-I bet they're in there! I have to find out.. But as the White Ranger.
Kimberly now brings up her right wrist and twists it.. And of course when she twisted it, a white flash of energy emerged and transformed her communicator into her morpher. She then brings it up to her chest and says quietly as it glows brightly white.
Kimberly-It's Morphin Time.
The professor however is trying to scan the skull of Todd right now.. Both Amanda and Vanessa are screaming for him to stop, but of course he doesn't listen..
Suddenly, the wide doors of the warehouse burst open with the power of cold snow.. The professor stops what he's doing and turns to see the snow coming into the warehouse.. He exclaims.
Professor Feliness-What is this!?
He looks down for Kitty but she's no where to be found. He calls out for her.
Professor Feliness-Kitty! Where are you!?
He thinks.
Professor Feliness-Hmm, there was no forecast of snow in the weather report today.
Soon they all hear a voice.
White Ranger-Who needs a forecast of snow when all year round, I can bring it down with the snap of my fingers!
The Professor asks quickly.
Professor Feliness-Who are you?!
The White Ranger steps into view as the cold snow continues to blow in. The Professor exclaims.
Professor Feliness-NO! Not now!
Vanessa, Amanda and Todd start feeling better and cheering because they feel safer, even with the Professor close to them. The Professor says angrily.
Professor Feliness-You will not stop me from taking control of my prisoners' brain functions! Cattatron arise and handle the White speck of dust!
The surgical table transforms back into Cattatron.. The White Ranger says to herself when she notices how big and intimidating Cattatron looks.
White Ranger-Uh oh. I'd better call for back up.
Cattatron's belly opens up and out comes an extension arm that grabs the White Ranger by her neck.. It then pulls her right into the warehouse.. She struggles to free herself.
White Ranger-UGH! Come on, this is no way to treat a guest! UGH!
Cattatron's extended arm from his belly swings the White Ranger around many times.. When it stops, it slams her into the floor, then up into the ceiling.. She groans out in pain.
White Ranger-UGH!
Meanwhile, the white cat reappears in a room.. Actually, it is the room that is behind Vanessa, Amanda and Todd. The white cat transforms into Kitty.. She looks around till she finds the latches that are holding the chains to the wall.. If she releases the latches, then she releases Vanessa and the others. She says to herself.
Kitty-This'll teach you professor. Then you'll learn to treat me better!
Kitty releases all three of the latches.. And in front of the room.. The three find themselves bound by the chains no more.. The Professor is paying no attention to them because he's watching the White Ranger get beaten by his minion Cattatron.
Kitty now takes out a cat's base.. She sets it next to a large window and says.
Kitty-This should bring the other colorful warriors here.. Even though it's a complete decoy, it should work.
She turns on the cat's eye but sets it horizontally on the window's large base.. So when the cat's eye is turned on the light it produces shoots across the sky sideways instead of straight upward.. So the cat's eye can be seen laying across the sky. Kitty says now.
Kitty-I hope they can see this.. It should be high enough for them to notice.
She chuckles and says now.
Kitty-Good luck Professor. You'll need it.
Vanessa thinks, and so does Amanda.. Yet Vanessa is the one who wants to say something at this moment but she fears the professor might takes interest and turn to see them free. So instead, she signals for Todd and Amanda to help her do something.
Nakia is still walking around the downtown area.. She stops when she notices the cat's eye streaking across the sky.. She says.
Nakia-Another one?!
She starts to think to herself and finally when she comes up with an answer, she says.
Nakia-Hmm. Maybe if I can find the base of this one.. I might find Vanessa.
She turns on her communicator and contacts Zelda after finding a hiding spot behind a store building.. Zelda answers.
Zelda-Yeah?
Nakia-Hey do you see the cat's eye anywhere?
Zelda doesn't say anything for a second.. She then speaks.
Zelda-Hey yeah I do! But it's not going up into the sky. It's going across this time.
Nakia-I know.
Zelda-Maybe it'll lead us to Vanessa.
Nakia-Exactly what I was thinking. I'll contact Kimberly to let her know.
Zelda-Okay.
Nakia tries to contact Kimberly, but of course you know what's going on.. She can't answer because she's being beaten by Cattatron in the warehouse.. But something happens.. When Cattatron knocks the White Ranger into the left side of the wall, the impact causes her communicator to activate.. So Nakia and Zelda can hear what's going on. Nakia exclaims.
Nakia-Hey what's happening!?
Zelda says.
Zelda-Sounds like trouble serious trouble.
Nakia-Lock on the signal Zelda, teleport and morph!
Zelda-Right!
Nakia presses a button on her communicator that turns her body into a sparkling yellow. After about a second, the yellow sparkling completely turns into a yellow beam of light that streaks upward into the sky and disappears. While both girls are on their way, the cat's eye in the sky disappears.
Back at the warehouse. The next thing you hear, aside from the struggling White Ranger's whims.. You also hear the professor screaming as he falls from the very top level.. Vanessa says out loud now.
Vanessa-Allright!
The professor hit's the floor hard.. He starts moaning out.
Professor Feliness-Oh my legs! I think my legs are broken! Ughh!
Amanda responds to the Professor's whines.
Amanda-Serves you right, you evil twit!
Vanessa-I thought cats were always supposed to land on their feet?
Todd-He doesn't look much like a cat right now.
Vanessa-Guess not.
Todd speaks again.
Todd-Let's get out of here. We need to find the Rangers so they can help the White Ranger.
Vanessa says.
Vanessa-How are we supposed to get through the front doors? It's impossible!
Todd sighs.
Todd-Hmm.
Cattatron swings the White Ranger around again then he lets her go so she hit's the floor hard..
White Ranger-UGHH!
He laughs and wants to attack again, but a huge lightning bolt bursts through a bit of the ceiling and strikes his body into a power overload that deactivates him. He soon falls on his side with a total look of lifelessness
The three spot the Yellow and Pink Rangers standing through the doorway.. They both rush in to help their friend. The Pink Ranger asks.
Pink Ranger-Kim, how you doing?
She responds weakly as she gets back up on her feet.
White Ranger-I've had better days.. Ugh!
The Professor vows revenge and soon he disappears.. Cattatron is left behind.
Soon, Vanessa, Amanada and Brett start running down the right sided stairway.. As they make it down the steps, the upper level begins to crumble.. Amanda stops and says.
Amanda-Uh oh! Move it! This whole stairway is about to fall!
Vanessa and Todd pick up the pace, its too bad the stairway is really long otherwise they would have a better chance of making it to the lower level without falling. But that's not the case.. The entire right sided stairway begins to completely crumble right under their running feet..Screaming now, Vanessa, Amanda and Todd start falling down below. The Pink Ranger gasps and says loudly.
Pink Ranger-I've got to save them!
She's about to take action, but something else beats her to it. Yes, a cool blue wave of energy is formed right on the floor.. In fact its stretched out so much, that Amanda, Vanessa and Todd have no choice but to fall on it. When the right side of the stairway is no more.. The three have already landed on the cool energy.. They bounce off of it after a second's rest and very quickly the energy transforms into the Blue Ranger.
They all regroup..
The Yellow Ranger asks the Blue Ranger.
Yellow Ranger-How'd you know of the danger?
Blue Ranger-I saw the cat's eye in the sky again and tracked it here.
Yellow Ranger-Oh ok.
Amanda and the others thank the Rangers for their help.. Although something appears to be happening again.. The Blue Ranger turns his back and notices Cattatron awakening.. He shouts out.
Blue Ranger-That thing! Behind us! Is getting up!
The other three Rangers turn.. The Yellow Ranger quickly tells Vanessa, Amanda and Todd to get out of the warehouse.. They don't want to leave because they want to be of some help, but the Yellow Ranger completely ignores that feeling and tells them to get out now.. The three listen and leave.
The White Ranger says.
White Ranger-That thing is really hard to beat. You have to watch out for its extra arm..
The Blue Ranger asks.
Blue Ranger-Extra Arm?
White Ranger-Yes, it comes out of its stomach. I don't think four of us is enough. We have got to contact the others.
The Yellow Ranger nods her head in agreement.
Yellow Ranger-Alright.
Luckily at this moment Ryan is at his locker getting a change of books when his communicator goes off. He answers it and is told of the danger in the warehouse district, so before he goes off to morph he finds Chet in the cafeteria where he's having study hall for the day and tells him what the others had told him.. So they both leave the school quickly and morph to join their friends in on their newest battle.
Vanessa, Todd and Amanda are all walking away from the warehouse.. Amanda is looking around for her SUV but she can't find it.
Amanda-Where is my vehicle!?
Vanessa sighs heavily.
Vanessa-I'm sorry Amanda.
Amanda-Don't worry. I do blame you somewhat but I guess its really not your fault.
A blue pick up truck from behind them pulls up and soon a voice speaks.
Brett-Hey, guys!
They don't notice him really.. Todd does when he turns around.. He exclaims because he's trying to remember who the guy is because he really hasn't interacted with him, but he does know of him and his blue pick up truck.
Todd-Aren't you Brett?
Brett responds.
Brett-Yeah. I saw you being taken away in some sort of weird looking net.
Amanda and Vanessa turn around just when Brett says.
Brett-I followed the cat's eye that.
He notices it's gone now.
Brett-Hmm. Well it was there a minute ago.. Anyway somebody's SUV is right down the street. And I say that because that's what I saw you guys taken in.
Amanda and Vanessa turns to Brett.. Amanda asks excitedly.
Amanda-REALLY? IS IT WHITE?
Brett-Yeah. It's behind the way I was coming from.. Some woman was driving it and parked it. Kind of weird looking though.
Amanda-What do you mean?
Brett-The woman kind of looked like she was all furry and fluffy. I think I seen her before in the forest earlier..
Vanessa-Another cat. Hmm.
Amanda-Hmm.. Could the SUV be mine. I wonder.
Vanessa-It could be.. Let's check it out.
Brett-Hop in.
The three do get into Brett's truck.. He then takes them to where he saw the SUV parked.
Back at the warehouse.
With all six Rangers together.. They are attacking Cattatron who's fully awake and stronger than before.. The robotic beast has thwarted the Ranger's attacks and has knocked them all against the left side of the wall together. The Red Ranger gets up and orders the others to draw out their laser pistols.
When the other Rangers get back on their feet.. They each take a spot to surround Cattatron and fire their laser pistols. Problem is, Cattatron's metallic body reflects their blasts and they end up getting struck..
Power Rangers-UGH!
The Red Ranger slams his fist on the floor and says.
Red Ranger-THERE HAS TO BE A WAY TO STOP THAT THING!
Suddenly a red flash is seen, and the giant roar of a dragon.. The Red Ranger looks up at the flash and nods his head.
Red Ranger-I know what to do.
He regroups with his friends as soon as the flash disappears and tells them what they have to do.. They nod.. And Cattatron starts to attack again. But this time it's in for a big surprise.
The Red Ranger gives out the command and all of his friends understand.. Soon he leaps up into the air in cannonball flip mode.. And when he comes out of that mode, he stretches his two arms, and legs in the way of what a star looks like. Now when he did that, five different colors of light shoot out from each angle on his body.. For instance. His helmeted head produces a yellow light. His right arm produces a pink light, his left arm produces a black light, and finally his left leg produces a white light and his right leg materializes a blue light.. The other Rangers quickly leap up and freeze instantly where their color coded lights are upon the Red Ranger's form.. And when they're finished.. You can see they basically have made a formation of a giant star. Cattatron looks worried at this new formation and tries to knock the Rangers out of it, but the powerful glow they are all giving off destroys it's attempts. Now, the Rangers start moving within a beautiful essence of clouds and the power of the storm as the Red Ranger shouts out from the center.
Red Ranger-STAR STORM FURY WHEEL!
With those words the star formation wheel increases its speed as images of fire, lightning, wind, snow, rain and hail flash upon it. Then those images are absorbed by the turning of the wheel that turns it into a beacon of powerful lights with the ultimate power of the storm that rip through Cattatron's robotic body.. And when the lights do end up going through it, it screams out in metallic yells till it falls to the floor and explodes into a heap of gray dust. The wheel reappears and forms into power lightning that forms into the Rangers on bended knee in front of their destroyed opponent.
Back to Todd and the others.
It turns out the SUV is Amanda's.. There wasn't any doubt, right? She thanks Brett by giving him a kiss on his cheek.. He starts to blush and say it was nothing. Todd says to Amanda he knows where she can get her passenger seat window fixed for practically nothing and Amanda graciously listens.
Later on, Vanessa returns home after meeting up with the Rangers.. By the way, Todd and Amanda are at the place Todd spoke of earlier trying to get her window fixed.
Her father is in his study staring at the fire burning silently in the fireplace.. He has on a business suit and has the phone by his side.. Vanessa knocks on the door.. He turns and feels a great relief.
Henry-Vanessa my child!
His emotions take a slight turn, an angry turn.
Henry-Where have you been Young lady! I have been worried sick!
Vanessa-Dad. I was right about the Professor.
Henry-Oh don't give me that again!
Vanessa-I didn't think you'd believe me so I brought some friends to explain it all to you.
Henry-Friends? Who?
Vanessa walks into the study, and soon she is followed by the Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Pink Ranger, Black Ranger, Blue Ranger and White Ranger. He looks at them with astonishing eyes.
Henry-Power Rangers?! You found my daughter?
The Yellow Ranger walks up to Henry and puts her hand on his shoulder.. She then says.
Yellow Ranger-Mr. Rowlings. I think it's time for a very long and much needed talk.
The Rangers all sit down on a couch except the Yellow Ranger.. She sits next to Henry in a brown leather chair to speak to him about the ill ways the evil Professor is using with the help of his money as everything fades to black…
