Chapter 188
Power Ranger Burn Out
Part 2
Continuation…
Nakia, Joey, Kimberly and Zelda teleport back to the café to see if they can find any clues as to why they were attacked by a smoke bomb just a few minutes ago however they don't find a clue, they find a who and that who is Psychotia standing in the center of the sidewalk next to the outdoor café with a few of her clawers. Everyone notices and become slightly startled.
Kimberly-Oh gosh not her again.
Joey steps up and points at Psychotia sharply as he says in a way serious tone.
Joey-I thought we finished you!
Psychotia smiles and responds in a wicked way.
Psychotia-I am not easily destroyed Ranger! However I don't think I can say the same for you!
She says to her clawers.
Psychotia-Attack them my beauties! Make me proud!
The clawers obey and rush toward the four, they each split up, Kimberly takes off running and she ends up in the back alleyway of the café, she stops and turns around to kick one clawer that was chasing her in its face, she then grabs its arm to hold it in place as she gives it a double side kick to its chest with her left leg then she leans down to deliver a fast floor sweeping move with her right leg to bring the clawer to the ground.
Another clawer swipes its deadly claws at Zelda so she very quickly leaps up into the air and then while in the air she goes into a backwards cannonball flip mode, when she lands on one of the tables the clawer tries to swipe at her legs several times but each time she manages to jump out of its way, then she leaps up into the air again with agility and flips
to the table behind the clawer so when she lands on her feet again she kicks it hard in the head before it knows what hits it.
While the fight goes on lets get back to the Professor who's still waiting for the clawer to arrive, I do have to say patience is not the Professor's forte so instead of continuing to wait he decides to give into his anger and throw the cat DNA cell directly at Todd which when it comes in contact with his paralyzed body it smoothly enters and begins its true purpose. I have to also say that the Professor also lets go of his hold on the two. Ryan feels he can move and immediately wants to fight the Professor but something stops him, Todd starts looking bad and not only that his body seems to set off a pulsating reddish orange glow, he looks at the Professor and demands with furiousness.
Ryan-WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!?
Professor Feliness-I simply provided a service to help him in his time of need! Hahaha.
Ryan looks back at Todd and becomes really worried and at the same time the Professor says to himself.
Professor Feliness-Yes Red Ranger grab him so my cell can infect you too!
Todd groans out in even more pain.
Ryan-Oh man what should I do. I gotta do something.
Without really thinking, Ryan grabs Todd's arm and within a mere second the infection from the evil DNA cell attacks Ryan's body, he lets go involuntarily and starts groaning out in pain as his body starts to glow reddish orange. The Professor says in a triumphant tone.
Professor Feliness-And now the fun begins! Hahahaha. This is the beginning of the end of you Rangers!
Ryan and Todd begin to suffer even more pain as their bodies start to undergo massive ungodly changes. The Professor says.
Professor Feliness-Yes come to life, be reborn, extinguish your past and become anew!
Ryan-UGHHHH!
Todd-AGHHHH!
As the transformation continues, two very bright looking orbs of light comes out of the two guys, the Professor immediately sticks out his hand and uses his telekinesis to guide the orbs towards him.
Professor Feliness-You won't be needing your life forces anymore! Ha! I'll just take them.
And so he does, he notices the intensity of the forces and decides to compliment.
Professor Feliness-Such beauty, perhaps I can find a use for these other than two monumental trophies, Hahaha!
Back to the fight at the café between the four unmorphed Rangers and Psychotia's clawers.
Joey fighting on the edge of the street the café is on, he punches a clawer in its face two times with both of his hands then quickly delivers a super powered high kick with his left leg right to the clawers jaw and with the high velocity kick the clawer is flung up into the air just a few feet, Joey then leaps off of the ground and in the air, he extends both of his legs as far as they will go to give the newly airborne clawer a double kick that knocks it out of the sky and back onto the ground again with a hard smack.
Nakia is still in front of the café where she is dodging every last attempt of being clawed by the clawer that is trying to subdue her, she goes under to where she ends up doing the splits for a quick second and also within that second she punches the clawer with lightning speed twice with her right and left fists that thunderously hits its legs and cause it to feel a sudden shock of pain, Nakia then gets back on her feet and as the clawer slowly goes down she kicks it with her left leg in its chest, then she does the same with her right leg also directed at its chest but for the final strike, Nakia twirls her body around once to deliver a really powerful tornado kick that hit's the clawer in its head. It finally falls from exhaustive pain.
Back to the Professor.
The transformation upon the two guys, Ryan and Todd has completed. The Professor looks at his two new creations with awe, there they stand next to their master looking very like large reddish orange lions standing on their hind legs. Their entire bodies are covered in a very thick reddish orange fur, they both have huge demonic looking horns sticking out from their heads with the fangs to match coming from their mouths and also claws sticking out of their paw like hands and feet.
Professor Feliness-Excellent! Now you have no soul since your life forces belong to me and the only thing that controls you is me! Once that clawer gets back here I can use my essence catcher to provide you with suitable victims! Haha. And as I look at you both I am starting to think you two will destroy the Rangers, well whatever the outcome as long as something amongst the two of you and those Rangers is destroyed I'll be quite happy!
The two newly created Lion Beasts say nothing for they feel nothing or think nothing, they simply are empty without their life forces to guide them. But something happens that the Professor finds very intriguing, one of the lion beasts starts to flame, he says to himself as he watches this happen.
Professor Feliness-Ahh it seems your Ranger powers of fire are deeply embedded inside of you Red Ranger, I don't think that will be a problem for me, but I cannot say the same for your comrades.
He smiles evilly but stops when he hears a constant beeping. He looks down at the flaming lion beast's right arm and notices the communicator. He smiles again and uses his telekinetic power to take the communicator away. It continues to beep as he says.
Professor Feliness-Don't worry Power Rangers you shall soon be united with your leader soon enough. Ha!
Chet is walking out of Terra Falls shopping mall carrying a bag back to his car, when he gets close to his car in the parking lot he notices an old lady with gray hair black glasses and in a flowery dress struggling with six bags she is trying to hold in her right hand and this really does look difficult since she has a cane in her left hand. He decides to walk over to where she is to help her, when he gets close the old lady turns around and says to him.
Old Lady-Oh you are here to help me young man?
Chet-Yeah I saw you struggling with those bags.
Old Lady-Oh this is so nice of you. I cannot thank you enough for wanting to help me. I must find a way to thank you for your kindness.
Chet-There's no need for that.
Old Lady-Oh but there is young man.
Chet notices the bags have disappeared, he becomes a bit startled and concerned.
Chet-What the, hey.
The old lady throws a bomb like device at Chet, he tries to get out of the way but the cloud that emerges from the bomb captures him and causes him to cough badly and at the same time his body glows black for a minute as well. When he falls on the ground coughing, the old lady transforms into the clawer holding the essence catcher, Chet says to himself.
Chet-Oh man!
Using the essence catcher, the clawer is able to absorb the cloud with Chet's essence into the catcher and disappear into the ground.
Some people outside of the mall didn't see what happened but they see Chet getting back up in a coughing frenzy for a few seconds till he stops and rushes away from the area to try to contact his friends. When Chet gets back to his car he activates his communicator, Joey answers after he hears Chet explain what just happened to him.
Joey-We've got trouble too man, we could use your help!
Chet-Where are you?
Joey-At Sunshine Outdoor Café.
Chet-Alright I'm on my way.
Joey-Good.
Chet turns off his communicator, then he touches the color coded star on it and soon he is formed into a black glow that transforms into a beam of light as it streaks upward into the sky and disappears.
Back to the Professor and his newly created lion beasts who were in reality Ryan and Todd. The clawer who took Chet's essence returns with the essence catcher, it gives it to the Professor, he makes sure the essence catcher produces the black color to assure the clawer was successful and it has proven it was which makes him smile once again, when he stops smiling he turns to his new creations and says.
Professor Feliness-Now the fun can begin.
He lifts up the essence catcher and says.
Professor Feliness-With this you will be able to concentrate only on attacking the five Rangers! The Black Ranger, the White Ranger, the Pink Ranger, the Yellow Ranger and the Blue Ranger!
He aims the essence catcher at the two beasts and opens it. Within an instant the five colors of black, white, pink, yellow and blue emerge and strike the beasts, they absorb the power colors and let out a ferocious roar, then with one last glow their reddish looking cat eyes sparkle indicating the Professor will get what he wants. The Professor speaks again.
Professor Feliness-Now go, hunt down the Rangers, stalk them and tear them apart!
The two lion beasts roar into a wavy disappearance.
Professor Feliness-Hahahaha! This battle shall be very interesting, now back to my lair where I can observe my victory!
The Professor leaps into the ground and disappears.
Back at the café Chet has arrived and is about to help fight with his friends only problem is Psychotia and her clawers have vanished without warning. They regroup in the café's parking lot.
Zelda-That was weird. They all just disappeared.
Nakia-Yeah and Psychotia didn't even attack us.
Kimberly-I wonder what's up now.
Joey-What did they want to do, just give us a work out or something?
Chet-That sucks I missed all the fun.
Nakia-I'm going to try to contact Ryan again.
Kimberly-Good Idea.
Nakia activates her communicator but after a few minutes of no response she begins to get really worried.
Nakia-He still isn't answering.
Zelda-Maybe he left his communicator somewhere.
Nakia-That does it, I am so going to the garage to talk to him.
Zelda-I'll go with you.
Nakia-Thanks.
Joey-The rest of us will stay on alert.
Nakia-Ok and let us know if anything else starts up.
Joey-We will.
No one detects the danger lurking very close to them all under the guise of invisibility. After going to the back alleyway of the café so no one can see them Nakia and Zelda use their powers to form into two streaking beams of yellow and pink light that disappear into the sky, and with them gone one of the danger beings of invisibility disappears too. Kimberly says.
Kimberly-I have a bad feeling things are going to get worse.
Chet-Doesn't it always with us?
Kimberly-I guess so but something just doesn't feel right.
Joey-Of course something doesn't feel right Kim, we were attacked by some sort of a cloud bomb, almost choked to death and then we had to fight those creatures again. I say the Professor and his cronies are working over time to try to get rid of us.
Kimberly-What happened to us today, it all seems like pieces to a major plan.
Chet-I have to agree with that.
Joey-Well we can't do anything unless something happens again.
Kimberly-I just wish we knew where the Professor is so we can stop him once and for all.
Chet-Now that you mention it Kim, so do I.
Joey-Come on lets get out of here.
Chet-I'll teleport back to where my car is.
Joey-Ok.
Joey and Kimberly walk back to the parking lot area of the café where his car is and Chet goes to the back alleyway to prepare to teleport away from the area however I have to say his attempt to do so has failed. Joey and Kimberly hear a scream coming from behind the café, they both rush to see what is happening. When they get to where the scream originated from they see Chet on the ground, his shirt is torn off of him, well slightly, only the bottom half remains. Joey and Kimberly run to him to help him back up on his feet. Kimberly asks in a frantic tone.
Kimberly-Chet what happened?
Chet responds quickly and nervously.
Chet-I don't know. Something attacked me and almost clawed my chest!
Joey-Oh man.
Chet-I felt it, it tore off half of my shirt and I felt it almost touching my chest, I didn't know what to do because I couldn't see it.
Joey-This just makes me feel even more not at ease.
They all hear a very powerful roar right next to them, in fact the roar is so strong and so intense that it knocks them all down at once.
Kimberly, Joey and Chet-UGHHH!
Kimberly asks frightened.
Kimberly-What was that?!
Joey says.
Joey-Sounded like a huge roar!
Chet-We'd better morph.
Kimberly-Yeah.
They all get back up on their feet to prepare to morph into Power Rangers although I have to admit that has also failed, they find themselves being fiercely attacked by the strong invisible force, Kimberly is struck in the stomach bad, and Joey is hit in his face with the same amount of striking power, Chet is hit again in his chest and they all feel the same strong force strike their legs at once to knock them down again.
Kimberly, Joey and Chet-UGGHHHH!
Then the same roar is sounded again right next to them and this time the intensity from it pushes them up from the ground and knocks them all into a bunch of large trash cans, once the crash is over they start groaning out in tremendous pain.
Kimberly-Ughhhh that hurt!
Joey-Agghhhh! We can't let whatever that is beat us, we gotta transform!
Chet-Ugh uhhh! It won't let us do that!
Joey-Can't let that stop us!
Kimberly-Right!
They get up once again and materialize their morphers without delay and as soon as they attempt to morph each of them are struck once again, in the face for Kimberly, in the chest for Chet but this time his wounds come out in the way of three very large bloody scratch marks and Joey is struck in the stomach very badly, the three fall once again on the ground.
Kimberly, Joey and Chet-UUGUUHHH!
Their morphers transform back into their communicators. Joey then feels something take a hold of his neck, he is soon picked up by his neck, he then shouts out to his friends.
Joey-DO IT! MORPH NOW WHILE ITS GOT ME! UGHH!
Kimberly and Chet try to do what is suggested of them but the pain they both feel ends up to being too much and so they don't have the strength to morph. Joey still being held in mid air by evil invisible force tries to break free but to no avail since he has also been weakened. Kimberly says in a weakened tone.
Kimberly-We need. Help.. Ughhhh!
Kimberly very determined, gets up very slowly, she finds one of the trash cans they ended up crashing in and picks it up, she then with all of her leftover strength turns back and throws the can at where Joey is being held, she then falls back on the ground in horrible pain and weakness and I must say what she did ended up helping a little bit since the can hit the invisible force and Joey is let go, he too falls back to the ground.
Joey-UUUGHHH!
While the three try to regroup amongst themselves, Nakia and Zelda are at Rocky's Repair Shop looking for Ryan inside and they find no trace of him whatsoever. Zelda notices drops of blood leading into the office, she says to Nakia.
Zelda-Someone was bleeding and not too long ago.
Nakia-Oh no! Do you think it was..
Zelda cuts her off.
Zelda-No I don't think it was Ryan, don't think like that.
Nakia-Where could he be? This isn't like him and I was sure he would be here.
Zelda-I don't know, this is all too strange.
Nakia-I know it is. I am just so worried about him. You know its not like him to not answer us when there's trouble.
Zelda-Maybe he is off somewhere taking a break. Or maybe he is at the hospital.
Nakia-Hospital?
Zelda-Yeah. He might of taken whoever was bleeding to the hospital.
Nakia-Maybe so or himself.
Zelda-Those drops of blood go into the office.
Nakia-I just hope he is alright.
Nakia notices more drops of blood behind her which lead back outside.
Nakia-Hey Zelda, look. I didn't notice this before but I see more blood.
They both follow the drops of blood outside and notice a heavy set of blood right in front of the repair shop.
Zelda-Oh no.
Nakia-Yeah I was going to say that again too. I really think we should get to the hospital.
Zelda-So do I.
Nakia-Lets go.
They try to teleport but something stops them, both girls legs are grabbed and they fall to on their backs while being dragged very fast by an invisible force.
Nakia-WHATS GOING ON!?
Zelda-UGHHH! I DON'T KNOW!
Soon they both are flung hard into a very large oak tree.
Zelda and Nakia-AAAAHHHH!
They both falls back on the ground after crashing into the tree and they don't have time to even grasp the thought of what had just happened since both of them are severely kicked in their stomachs and backs.
Zelda and Nakia-UGHHH!
Back at the Professor's underwater base, he watches the entire event through his main computer Cattariaziz. He says in a quite joyful tone.
Professor Feliness-This is working out better than I expected!
Cattariaziz-It appears that way.
Professor Feliness-Yes, I am confident the Rangers will end up being destroyed! I must admit I firmly thought the Rangers would destroy my two creations but all the better for them to be destroyed, hmm perhaps I am being a bit too presumptuous after all the battle has only just begun.
Psychotia appears next to the Professor and asks.
Psychotia-How are things going Professor?
Professor Feliness-Very well Psychotia my dear, very well indeed, it seems all I had to do was find strong subjects to pit against those Power Rangers to even grasp a bit of victory!
Psychotia-Then they will finally be defeated you think?
Professor Feliness-At this point it seems very plausible and when they are gone I can focus on my ultimate goal!
Psychotia-And that is?
Professor Feliness-To enslave every last human on this planet with my cat's eye…DEAD and ALIVE!
Everyone in the room starts to chuckle with evil delight.
Back to Nakia and Zelda.
They both try to morph but the evil invisible force stops them from doing so. Zelda quickly says in a weakened tone as she tries to get back on her feet.
Zelda-Lets..try..teleporting!
Nakia-Ok.
They try to teleport once they find themselves slightly stable on their feet yet trying to is simply not cutting it in this situation because the two are once again hit so bad six different times in six different areas on their bodies that their communicators end up being set loose from their wrists. Both of the girls fall again this time harder than before with excruciating results.
Nakia and Zelda-UGUUHHHHH!
In the back alley of the Sunshine Outdoor Café, Kimberly, Joey and Chet are still having a really hard time getting things together, however since Kimberly threw a can at their invisible attacker things have calmed down a bit but not by much. Kimberly says weakly and in pain.
Kimberly-We need to get out of here and regroup….while..we got..the chance..
Chet says in a weakened agreement.
Chet-I…agree…Lets… get to Zelda and Nakia at the repair shop.
Kimberly-Right.
They both get Joey back up on his feet but stop when they see something a few feet away, hearing a roar and finally coming into view Chet says.
Chet-I think I see.. Something
Kimberly-I..don't..want..to..find out…till we regroup.
Joey-Let's..go ughhh!
With a flash their invisible attacker comes into view. Kimberly says.
Kimberly-It's a big muscular lion… monster.
Chet-And.. like its on fire.
Joey-Come..on..lets..go and regroup.
Kimberly-Right.
Soon they all touch their color coded stars on their communicators which causes all three of them to glow with their respected Ranger colors, white for Kimberly, blue for Joey and black for Chet. Acting instantly with malice, the flaming lion beast fires two fireballs through its mouth directly at the three and with great painful results I have to say the fireballs knocked them all out of their teleportation sequences and into back building walls.
Kimberly, Joey and Chet-UGHHHH!
Joey-We cant..take much more..of this. I say we try..to morph again!
Kimberly-Ughhh, Agreed.
The three materialize their morphers once again but also once again they aren't given the chance to morpher for now they are caught by a concentrated beam of flaming dark energy emitting from the lion beast that they have no idea is really their leader Ryan that has been demonized by the evil Professor Feliness' cat cell. The beam of flaming dark energy surrounds them and stings them constantly until they shows signs of submission.
Kimberly-AHHHH!
Chet-UGHHHH!
Joey-UGACHHH!
A few more seconds pass and the strength from the flaming dark energy beam starts to increase therefore the three almost pass out but instead of them doing so, their morphers crackle and sizzle from the attack and finally all three morphers burst into pieces that fall all over the alley. The beast lets up on the concentrated beam after seeing the three fall once again but this time they don't look like they will be getting up anytime soon.
Watching from his underwater base the Professor becomes extremely estactic.
Professor Feliness-YES, YES, YES! HAHAHA! Three Power Rangers down and out!
Psychotia-Are they dead Professor?
Professor Feliness-Lets hope they are ha! But my flaming beast has expended a lot of energy taking them down, bring him back here to reenergize.
Psychotia-As you command Professor. And what do you want of the three he took down?
Professor Feliness-I have an idea. Cattariaziz are those three pests emitting any life energy readings?
Cattariaziz responds after analyzing the situation.
Cattariaziz-Yes Professor.
Professor Feliness-Damnit! But no matter, lock on those energy readings and transport them to the desert.
Cattariaziz-At once.
Professor Feliness-Yes, I will simply leave them to the vultures!
Psychotia-A fitting end for those Power Ranger nuisances!
Professor Feliness-Indeed it is, but we still have the Yellow and Pink Rangers to handle as well. My second beast should be taking care of them as we speak.
Psychotia-And will they suffer the same fate as their friends?
Professor Feliness-Well my dear the least I could do is bring them together one last time, after all they are a team, Hahaha.
Psychotia-Hahahaha.
Cattariaziz-Hahahaha.
Professor Feliness-Psychotia my dear make sure you bring back both of my Lion Beasts.
Psychotia-Consider it done Professor.
Back to Nakia and Zelda who get back up on their feet barely and trying to fight what they cannot see. They both hit the ground once again with hard smacks after feeling several more serious clawing strikes that hit them six times again.
Nakia and Zelda-UGHHH!
Both girls are in so much pain that they can't bare it any longer, Zelda's dress has been torn slightly on the side and Nakia's outfit looks like it went through a very bad washing machine still they both are determined only in spirit and mind to try and fight.
Zelda looks at Nakia and asks her in a less than strong tone.
Zelda-Nakia.. you alright?
Nakia responds weakly.
Nakia-I've had..better..days.
Zelda-Lets..morph.
Nakia-Ok..
They both finally notice their communicators which are the keys to bring forth their morphers are not on their wrists anymore. Nakia exclaims slightly.
Nakia-Oh no.. I lost my commnicator.
Zelda looks around as her sight starts to blur a bit.
Zelda-I. think.. I. see.. Them.
The invisible attacker finally reveals itself but the two start to lose consciencouness due to the heavy intensity of the attack.
Nakia-Ughhh can't…make..it.
Zelda-Have..to..try.
Psychotia appears behind the lion beast and she begins to say.
Psychotia-That's enough for today big boy. The professor has other plans for those two Ranger rats. You are to come with me though to make sure your energy levels are sustained at maximum capacity.
Psychotia snaps her fingers and with a clash of power the Lion Beast roars into a quick disappearance. She walks over to the fallen girls who can barely hear anything she says.
Psychotia-Hmm what a sad sight you two are, I almost pity you.
She notices their communicators on the ground next to a large tree so she says as she points a finger at them both.
Psychotia-You won't be needing your communicators anymore.
A burst of orange electrical power emerges from her finger and surrounds the communicators and soon with enough intense dark velocity from the power the two communicators end up exploding into nothing more than dust. Psychotia laughs evilly as she says something else.
Psychotia-So much for the Power Rangers! Hahaha.
She disappears after leaping into the ground and everything fades to black.
