New Direction Regionals competitions have move up. Will they win? well read below
Mckinley High:
In the music room, Will used one of the markers to write on the whiteboard. "Regionals" he wrote before drawing a line underneath the word. He put the cap on the marker before turning around to see the glee club sitting on the bleachers, with artie sitting infront of the bleachers
Will starts talking. "we had some moments for the past year. And we gotten through sectionals, but we face our next challenge". He pointed behind shoulder. "regionals. Now i know our time of practice shorten from one call, but what i seen what we can do together. I have no doubt we can win this competition".
Rachel starts talking. "but we've been practicing non-stop for this whole week, and we're not even close like we were in sectionals". Will nodded. "i understand, this is a long shot. But we can't lose hope because if we win regionals, we are in a plane to new york". Rachel slowly lifted her hand and says. "uhh. Sorry to interrupt again, but i have a fear of flying".
Will: Ok take a train, the point is nationals is the biggest in any competition. This could be our year to win regionals and nationals in one year. It'll get crazier each time, but we can do this, i know we can. Because we got three new members
The glee club started clapping for sam, sugar, and kitty, making the three smile. Will continues talking. "we also got some secret weapons. Our skills. We got some of our best dancers, and singers in this school. You can't let this short practice go over your head. You all saw the setlist, and practice. I believe we're gonna be fine, because if you don't believe. We lose even before the competition. Tomorrow is a big day, so get some sleep and. Just believe".
Rachel slowly nodded with a nervous expression
Unknown Club:
Inside a club, where the dance floor is packed with dancers, dancing around the floor, a couple of people were holding cups of drinks, and glow sticks. While the people were dancing, colorful lights were flashing around the dance area
At the far end of the club, was the DJ station. He was holding his headphone close to his ear while rubbing the records on the stand
A group of girls were walking through the restaraunt area, tables are scattered aroun the area while the booths were by the wall
Alisa walked out of the back room, holding a crate of bottles and walked behind the bar, and set the crate down on the floor. "got another shipment of irish whiskey". One of the bartenders walked up and started taking the bottles out of the crate
Another bartender walked up toward alisa and says. "hey, I think we got an underage girl at the end of the bar". Alisa look straight ahead and notice sugar sitting at the end of the bar, looking through a piece of paper
Alisa wiped her hands with a washcloth before saying. "she's good. That's my sister". The bartender made a shock expression, and says. "i didn't know you had a sister". Alisa nodded with a proud smile. "i do. I'll take care of this". Alisa walked through the bar and stopped right infront of sugar. "you know just because your my sister doesn't mean you can be here".
Sugar giggled before saying. "you gave me your're key to get into the back. And i didn't wanna be at the apartment alone". Alisa started wiping the bar while saying. "is this about regionals? sugar you're gonna be fine. You have an amazing voice".
Sugar: this is my first competition since i joined glee. What if i messed up
Alisa: sugar, you have worked too hard to get here. Look at you, you are now a beautiful girl with an incredible singing voice
A tall tanned man walked up and lean on the bar while staring at sugar. "ooh i would love to hear this girl's voice". Alisa smiled at the guy before grabbing a hold of the guy"s collar and pulled him closer to her. "like the way my 15 year old sister looks. I suggest you walk away, now!". She said before pushing the guy away. He stood up and ran away. Sugar started giggling while alisa was smiling at her
Alisa: did you have to look this pretty when you decide you wanted to become a woman?
Sugar: i was hoping for that kind of attention. In school
Alisa: well. How about i take you home
Sugar: you sure you wanna leave the club? it's kinda busy
Alisa: that"s the beauty of owning this place. I can take tomorrow off if i want
Sugar laugh more as the two sisters walked out of the club and headed toward the parking lot. Sugar climb into the passenger seat as Alisa was looking through her bag and says. "shit. I forgot my phone. I'll be right back"
A few moments later, Alisa walked through the front doors from the bar and was about to walk back to the parking lot that is across the street until a voice is heard. "Alisa". Alisa turn her head to see eleanor standing by the bar. "i didn't expect to see you here".
Alisa, with a disapprove expression, says. "really. Infront of the club that i manage. You didn't expect to run into me?". While pointing at her club. Eleanor looks down before looking back up and says. "i miss you. Both you and elliot. How is he".
Alisa: elliot. She"s not elliot anymore. It's sugar motta. And SHE is fine
Eleanor: still going through the phase
Alisa shook her head before saying. "it's not a phase. It's who she is. And she has been doing good. She started taking hormones too". Eleanor makes a shock expression, making alisa nodded. "yeah, that's how much she's commited to this. Look i really didn't wanna argue, i have to take sugar home. She has glee regionals so she needs to rest".
Eleanor: regionals! is he going on stage wearing a dress
Alisa: uhh, yeah. What else would she wear. You can come if you want
Eleanor: i am not going there to see my son dressed like a fag
Alisa yelled out with anger. "hey! you will not talk about my sister that way! no matter what you say. She is still part of this family, no matter who she is. A girl, or a unicorn. If you still care about her. You will come". She said with rage before walking away. Leaving eleanor speechless
Berry house:
Rachel was standing in the upstairs bathroom. Standing infront of the mirror while brushing her teeth. She looks down to see her laptop leaning on a bottle of shampoo. Rachel was video chatting with santana, who is already lying on her bed, with the lights off
Rachel spit the toothpaste out of her mouth before rinsing her brush. She looks back at santana and says. "i hoped you had a good dinner, because study shows mood swings could affect our performance".
Santana giggled before saying. "rach, you seen my mom's food. Well, twice when you were in the bathroom. She made us hell of food. And i'll stop by my brother's food truck to grab a couple of burritos. I'll get vegan burritos for you". Rachel starts talking while she started to floss. "when did he add vegan food to his menu".
Santana: when he found out his little sister's girlfriend is vegan
Rachel giggled as she finished flossing. She threw the floss into the trash before grabbing a bottle of mouthwash and took a cap shot of mouthwash. Santana starts talking. "berry, it's been 10 minutes. Are you even half done of your little night ritual".
Rachel gurgle the moutwash into her mouth before spitting it into the sink. "i am just about done. Let's see i use my tongue scraper, brush my teeth with two toothbrushes. Then i just floss and took mouthwash. Oh god, did i forget to rinse my mouth with saltwater?". Santana smiled while rubbing her eye's. "estrella, that was at the beginning. You're mouth can clean my mouth with just a kiss".
Rachel did a sarcastic laugh before taking her insomina and anti-anxiety medication. Rachel put her pills by the sink before grabbing her tablet and walked out of the bathroom and headed in her bedroom. "sorry but you know how much i take my night routine seriously". Santana nodded. "yes and i wish you would let me stay on video chat when you took you're shower". She said before laughing
Rachel shook her head while smiling before climbing into her bed, and pulled the covers over herself. She held up her tab above her face, and santana says. "to me, though. You're night routine seems more extreme then usual".
Rachel: i'm just a little nervous about tomorrow
Rachel turned to her side while looking at santana, who says. "estrella, we're gonna be fine tomorrow. You and Mr. Schue made a great setlist. And we all worked hard for this moment".
Rachel: wish we had more time, though
Santana: things happened, rach
Rachel: what if we win, though. There goes our chance in nationals
Santana smiled before saying. "the cheerios also lose sometimes. We'll have other chance's. New York will be there". Rachel slowly says. "i just heard New York was this magical place. Where dreams comes true. It's just some place where i always wanted to go when i was 5".
Santana propped her head with her left hand while talking to rachel. "you never told me that". Rachel shrugged before saying. "it's just something i don't like to talk about. My adopted parents told me that dreams always die".
Santana: well don't listen to them. Dreams are always meant to come true. If that's a place you wanna visit, then dream. Don't lose it
Rachel smiled before saying. "i love you". And her eye's opened wide. "oh god. That is the first time i said that to you. Uhh. Forget i said that if you are not rea-". Santana interrupts rachel by saying. "i love you too". Without hesitation, making rachel shed a tear. "goodnight Estrella". Rachel whispers. "night, tana". Before hanging up
Santana set her phone on the table before hearing a knock on the door, and the door opened up, revealing antonio, using a cane. "hola cariño". Santana sat up and says. "dad, what are you doing up? Mom said you need to rest".
Antonio walked into the room and sat down on the computer chair. "mom just got called into the hospital. So i'm free". Santana shook her head before saying. "i don't care. You need to rest. Dad you can run in a 5k, now you have trouble walking".
Antonio smiled before saying. "santana. estoy bien. I couldn't help but overhearing you're conservation with rachel". Santana blushed while looking down. Antonio continues talking. "i know you're nervous about regionals".
Santana looks back at her dad, and slowly says. "i've been nervous. I'm just trying to help rachel through it. The glee club is important to her". Antonio stood back up and walked up toward santana, and sat down beside her. "i raised you well". Santana smiled as he gave her a kiss on the head. "I know you guys are gonna win". Antonio stood back up and started walking toward the door
Santana smiled at him before turning the lights off
Breadstix:
Will walked into the restaraunt and walked up toward the hostess. "hi. Pick up for Will schuester?". The hostess look through the books until Will heard a voice. "Will". Will look straight ahead to see emma sitting by the bar. "emma? uhh, can you give me a moment?". The hostess nodded as Will walked up toward the bar and stood beside emma. "i didn't expect you to be here".
Emma: well i turned a flea bomb on into my apartment. So i'm just killing some time. You picking up some food?
Will: uhh yeah. Didn't felt like cooking tonight
The hostess walked up with a to-go bag and set it down on the bar. "here you go, Will Schuester. Already charge to your account". She said with a smile before walking away. Will grabbed the bag, and looks at emma and says. "hey. You wanna stay at my house until your apartment clears up".
Emma looks surprised while staring at Will. "oh, i don't wanna be a bother". Will pointed at the empty glass in emma's hands. "so you're just gonna sit here all night. I heard flea bombs last for 9 hours". Emma slowly smiled at Will
Now at Will's apartment. Emma and Will were sitting on his couch in his living room. Emma was taking a sip of wine while Will walked up, holding two plates of his take-out food. Emma was looking around and says. "i don't even think i have been in your apartment since i met you".
Will laugh as he set one plate infront of emma before sitting down himself. "it's cozy. I have been here for almost 7 years now. Since me and. Kendra". He looks back down on his plate and used his fork to scoop a bit of pasta and took a bite out of it
Emma looks down and says. "i am really sorry on that day. She seems like a nice person". Will nodded while smiling. "she was. But this isn't a time to be sad".
Emma: right sorry
Emma shook her head before taking a bite of the pasta, and wiped her mouth before saying. "i just want to say thank you for letting me stay over while my home is being fumigated". Will nodded while chewing, and swallowed the food before saying. "no trouble. I kinda miss having company".
Emma looks up at Will and says. "ever thought about getting a dog". Will laugh while shaking his head, and says. "i do, but i don't think it'll be fair for a dog to live here. I live alone and have no one to look after a pet. Maybe one day". Emma smiled before saying. "maybe. Oh hey i wanted to ask, how is regionals looking?".
Will: uhh. It's looking sunny. With clouds around
Emma: hey. You guys killed it at sectionals, i have faith you can win regionals
Will: we barely got practice. I mean, do you think we can win just like that
Emma wiped her mouth again after taking a bite, and says. "ever heard of the jamaican bobsled team? huge long shot". Will laugh again before taking a sip of wine, making emma winced. Will looks at emma with a confused expresson. "that's my wine".
Will looks at the wine and says. "oh, sorry. Must've grabbed the wrong one. Uhh, i'll grab another glass for you, i know your little germ thing". Emma smiled as he stood up and walked into the kitchen. He opened a cabinet and took another glass. Will walked back into the living room, and sat back down before pouring some wine for emma. "you know i gotta ask. How long did you had you're little germ thing".
Emma looks down before saying. "uhh. My whole life, i was diagnose with OCD at a young age, and it just gotten worse over the years". Will with curiosity, asked. "how?".
18 year's ago:
At a restaraunt, a 6 year old emma was sitting on one side of the booth with a 7 year old boy, and a 9 year old girl sitting on each side of her. The three were watching their parents standing by the booth and were yelling at each other
The mother slapped the father in the face before walking away. The brother climb over the table and ran after his mom. The father rubbed his face for a second until a young waitress walked past him, and he smacked her butt. Making her giggle
Young emma grabbed a tissue and started wiping the rim of the glass of water infront of her
Back to the present:
Will looks at emma with a shocking expression. "wow". Emma slowly nodded. "yeah. I know. To this day they are still married". Will started laughing until emma wiped her mouth and said. "thanks again for letting me stay here".
Will: no problem. It's getting late
Emma: yeah. You can go to bed, i'll make myself comfy on the couch
Will shook his head as he stood up. "no, emma. You take the bed. I'll sleep on the couch". Emma looks at will with a surpised expression. "you sure, will? because i can sleep on the couch with no trouble. Beside, you need to rest for regionals tomorrow".
Will laugh as he took emma hand and pulled her up and guided her to the door to his bedroom. "emma. I insist. And i just cleaned my sheets yesterday. Nothing will be scary in there". Emma giggled as she stares at Will. "thanks, will. I appreciate it". She said before walking into the bedroom, and Will closed the door behind her bdfore walking back to the couch himself
Emma lay on the bed after she pulled the blanket out. She turn her head and notice a photo of Will and kendra during their wedding, making her smile until she notice another photo beside the wedding picture. The photo was New Direction win at sectionals
Emma: you're gonna win, i know it
The next day:
At a large theater building, a school bus pulled up infront of the building. The school bus door opened up, and Will stepped down from the steps and stares at the building, making him smile. "alright guys!". He clapped his hand says. "let's get register".
The glee club started climbing down from the bus, except artie, who was lower down
Will walked into the building and walked up to the sign up sheet. "Hi, William Mckinley High, New Direction?". The worker started typing on the computer and nodded as rachel walked up. "you are in! the warblers will go on first and aurel intensity will go on second. Which means you will go in third". The worker grabbed a key and hands it to Will. "the key to your dressing room".
Will nodded before walking away with rachel, who says. "third. Isn't that bad competing last?". Will shook his head before saying. "it isn't bad or good. Look at it this way, they saved the best for last". Rachel giggled as the rest of the glee club walked up
Will: guys. You're new costumes are in the room, i'll see you all on stage
Will handed the key to rachel before walking away. Rachel looks back at her team and says. "ok, no time to be nervous. But we're competing in 3rd". The group started talking at once
Tina: why are we last?
Sam: doesn't seem that bad
Quinn: you should have seen our competition at sectionals
Rachel: guys, guys. Look i know regionals showed up quicker then we expect, but being in last doesn't mean we're gonna lose. Mr. Schuester said that they saved the best for last
A laugh was heard, making rachel turned around to see sebastian walking up with blaine, and three other warbler members. "actually the best is always first. Oh hey, sugar. Oh sorry, elliot. I keep forgetting you're a boy". Santana took a deep breath, but rachel held her hand infront of santana. "easy, tana".
Sebastian continues talking. "you all are wasting you're time. You got a gender confused boy". Sugar looks at sebastian with a offended expression. One warbler pointed at kurt. "a very femboyish gay kid". Kurt wrapped his arms over his chest as finn put a hand on kurt's shoulder. Blaine looks at quinn and says. "and you are the biggest poser of you all". Quinn shot a death glare at blaine. Sebastian then pointed at puck. "and you obviously spent a night in prison".
Puck whispers to kitty. "he's good". Kitty looks at puck with a confused expression. Brittany held up her hand and says. "what color am i thinking of?". Quinn pulled brittany away, making sebastian roll his eyes. Blaine says. "you can't outsing us. We got regionals in the bag".
Sebastian says. "you should look at other clubs since you're glee club won't make it. See you in 3rd place". Before walking away with the other warbler members. Santana pointed her finger at sebastian. "i am one inch close to knock that boy teeth out".
Quinn: just because of my new hair doesn't mean i'm impressing people. Just myself
Rachel: look, let's just head to our dressing room and get ready
Dressing room:
In the dressing room, sugar and brittany were sitting infrong of the vanity mirror, working on their make-up. Sugar says. "i can't believe this is finally happening, this was my dream to sing infront of everyone in my right gender".
Puck walked out of the bathroom, wearing the boys uniforms, black pants, a long sleeve black shirt, with the sleeves rolled up, and a black vest over the shirt. And to complete the look, a white tie. Puck looks at the uniform and says. "uhh. Why couldn't we wear our old clothes from sectionals".
Another bathroom opened up, revealing quinn, wearing the girls uniform. A short black dress, with the end of the skirt have sparkles, and on her chest was a black star with sparkles, shining the star. "we are in a new competition, we gotta pick it up, and that means new uniforms".
Puck stares at quinn and says. "wow. You look really pretty". Quinn smile while blushing. "thanks puck". Kitty came back into the room, also wearing the girls uniform, including a black hairband. "hey, puck, can you zip me up?". Puck nodded before zipping up kitty dress, making quinn look down before walking away
Santana, in her uniform, was sitting on one of the chair's, looking through her phone until she look up to see rachel, wearing the new uniform, walking up toward her while holding her stomach. "My stomach feels weird".
Santana put her phone in her pocket before standing up and says. "rafael swore the breakfast burrito was vegan". Rachel sat on the armrest and says. "it"s not that. I'm just nervous. I mean i shouldn't be because since we killed it at sectionals, but-". Santana put her hand on rachel's back and says. "estrella. You have nothing to worry about. I know we didn't have enough practice, but you just gotta believe in yourself". Rachel smiled before leaning down and gave santana a passionate kiss until the speakers turned on. "high school choir regional competition will start in 10 minutes". Santana rubbed rachel's back again and says. "c'mon. Let's go". She grabbed rachel and held her bridal style as she stood up, making rachel squeal and giggled as santana carried her out of the dressing room
Theater room:
Will was walking through the walkway until Passing burt and carole hudson. Shelby, who was sitting beside Gina puckerman. She smiled and wave at Will. He smiled and wave back. Will turn his head to see maribel and antonio. Will notice alisa sitting on the next row, she smiled and says. "Mr. Schuester, thanks for making my sister so happy". Will smiled and nodded at her, and he continue walking until he found his seat, that is beside emma and shannon. Emma smiled at Will as he sat down next to her
An announcer walked up on the large stage that has red curtains. He stood infront of the mic stand and started talking through it. "hello everyone, and welcome to 2011 high school choir regionals competition. And to start off our last year winner's. Dalton academy, The Warblers". The audience started clapping as he walked off of the stage with the stand, and the curtains slowly opened, revealing the warblers, who were all sitting on the steps. The warblers started singing the melody

Sebastian lifted his head and started singing

The warblers continue singing the melody as they stepped off of the steps and started walking past each other

Sebastian started walking backwards while each warblers spin past sebastian. Blaine and four other warblers kneel down and slammed their hands on the floor while sebastian and six warblers pointed up in the air

The warblers stood back up and wave their arms around their body while doing a footwork routine. Blaine walked up toward the edge of the stage and started singing himself

The warblers started singing together as each member spin around, and then pointed the air. They each started jerking their arm downward and upward

Sebastian notice New Direction sitting with the audience, and smile when he pointed at them. Santana held up her middle finger

The music slowed down and each member stood still while holding their hands together

The audience started cheering for the warbers, making each member smiled together until they walked back to the steps and stood together. Another song started coming out of the speakers, and blaine walked down the steps and started singing himself

Another warbler, an african american with a buzz cut, walked up and started singing himself

The music started to kick up and the warblers started moving from the beat

The audience stood up and started cheering for the warblers. Sebastian turn his head to rachel and send her a wink, making santana bream a pencil with her hands
Back in New Direction dressing room. Sam was combing his hair while talking. "the warblers were better then i thought". Matt was straighting his tie while nodding in agreement
Kitty was putting her hair in a ponytail. "yeah. This is my first glee regionals, how am i supposed to perform after hearing those boys?". Quinn stood up and remove the band from her hair. "ponytails are for cheerios. This is more presentable for regionals". Quinn grabbed a brush and started brushing kitty's hair. "but she has a point. The warblers were better than we expected".
Brittany was helping artie with his tie, and he says, "i know. And to top that on we haven't had enough time to practice makes this really difficult".
Rachel looks around before saying. "guys, c'mon. We can't let their performance scare us. They said that the warblers been around for years. New Direction been around for almost a year. The competition gets tougher each time. We just gotta believe in ourselves. We can win, we can't let them affect our judgement. That is what sebastian wants, to have our confidence broken, but that won't happened. Everyone ready to win regionals". Each glee member slowly nodded, making rachel smile. "then let's do this".
A little bit later in the theater room, The announcer was standing on the stage just when a group of glee kids walked off of the stage. The announcer starts talking through the mic. "give a round of applause from aurel intensity.. And now for our final in regionals. Winners at sectionals. William Mckinley High, New Direction". The audience started clapping as the announcer walked off stage, and the curtain was pulled opened, revealing New Direction, each member is wearing cowboy hats. Country music started coming through the speakers and the group started dancing with one hand holding their hats, and the other is holding their belts
Rachel walked up to the front of the group and started singing
Rachel:

The group removed their hats and hid their face behind the hats while shaking their hips to the beat. Then the boys removed the hats from their faces and held the hat to their chest while the girls removed the hats, wave their arms around before putting their hats back on
Rachel:
We left, the club, right around three o'clock in the morning
His Pinto, is sitting there in the parking lot
Well it should of been a warning

The group turned around and their backs face the audience, and each member click their heals together, making sebastian chuckled while shaking his head. Blaine smiled sightly while crossing his arms

Quinn, santana, and brittany spin around while walking to the left side of the stage. Finn, puck, and sam spin while walking to the right side. Rachel, mercedes and sugar walked forward and started moving their feet to the beat, making alisa smile while covering her mouth
All:

Each member removed their hats and threw them at the audience, making the audience cheer while clapping their hands. Will looks at the group with a proud expression as he stood up and started clapping
The glee club ran back to the steps, and the girls jumped onto the steps while the boys stood infront of the steps, and a different music started coming out of the speakers. Santana started singing herself

This was never the way I planned

The girls walked through the boys and pushed them aside. The girls started walking toward the edge of the stage

Each boy grabbed a girl and lifted them up in the air. Matt lifted brittany, and she climbed over his shoulder and did a front flip. Kitty did the same with puck

The group formed a line and look down for a moment until a third music started coming out of the speakers. Rachel started singing herself as each member lifted their head back up

The music faded away and the glee club bow their heads, making the audience started cheering while standing up and clapped for New Direction. Sebastian turn his head to see one of the warblers clapping with a smile on his dace. When he turn his head to sebastian, his smile disappeared and he lower his hands
Rachel and santana gave each other a hug with a huge smile on their faces. Santana whispers. "we got this in the bag". Making rachel smile wider
Will started chuckling while clapping his hands. "they are so gonna win". Emma looks at Will and says. "well what do you expect. They got one hell of a teacher". Will looks at emma for a moment before looking back up to the stage
A few minutes later. All three glee clubs were standing on the stage together, with their directors/captains standing infront of their group
The announcer was standing infront of the groups while pulling a cart holding the regionals 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place trophies. The announcer starts speaking through the mic. "sorry for the wait, but our judges have picked out this years regionals champions". The announcer opened up an envelope and took out a piece of paper. "For this year's 3rd place is... aural intensity".
Aural intensity clapped together with smiles on their faces. One member walked up toward the announcer and took the 3rd place trophy from the announcers hands and walked away with her team
The announcer opened up the second envelope and took out a piece of paper. "for second place is... Mckinley High, New Direction. Which means first place is dalton academy, The Warblers cheered together and walked around the sad New Directions. Sebastian grabbed the large 1st place trophy and started laughing
Will slowly walked up to the announcer and took the slightly smaller 2nd place trophy. He walked back up to the team and set it infront of the group. Rachel looks at sebastian and walked up toward him. Sebastian turn his head and notice rachel. She lifted her hand up and offer a handshake, but sebastian scoff before walking away, leaving rachel hand up in the air
Mckinley High:
In the music room. The trophy glass case was opened up by rachel, and she lifted up the trophy and set it beside their sectionals trophy. She stares at the trophies for a moment before closing the case. "well. I think that went well". Rachel said before turning around and looks at the glee club scattered around the room, who each had a sad expression
Mercedes: we totally lost. How is that good?
Brittany was looking down and says. "i don't think we're going to New York". Santana gave brittany a hug.
Sugar looks at rachel and says. "sorry, rachel, we tried our best". Rachel shook her head before saying. "yes you did. We all did. So we lost regionals, big whoop. It's not the end of the world. Yes we're not going to nationals, or New York, but they'll be other chances".
Puck was holding a football and was squeezing it. "but this was our chance for something greater". He said before throwing the ball across the room. Rachel says. "guys. It isn't the end of the world. The warblers won, yes. We are not going to New York, yes. But we are still here, the warblers can't destroy our spirit. If that's the case then we should close the club right now. We still have time to compete in nationals, and that'll give us time to prepare. We are destine for greatness, and we'll have a chance next time, just not this time. We just have to close our eye's and be ready next time". Each glee member slowly nodded with a smile
Santana smiled at rachel. "you always have a way to make everyone feel better". Before standing up and walk up toward rachel and gave her a quick kiss, making rachel smile
Mike: so what do we do now?
Rachel looks at the group before saying. "we practice".
Teacher lounge:
Will was sitting by one of the tables, holding a coffee mug. Emma was sitting across from him, and says. "you did the best you could".
Will sigh and says. "it wasn't enough, though. Those kids worked so hard just to get nowhere". Emma sat up before saying. "you'll get another chance. It's for the best anyway, those kids need to learn to lose once in a while".
Will: it wasn't just the competition. It's about getting discovered. They have what it takes to be in show business
Emma: yeah. I know, because of you and glee. I have made some new pamphlets
Emma lean over, and opened up her purse, and took out a couple of new pamphlets, she hands one to Will. He looks at the title. "theatre is yours". Will chuckled while smiling at it. "woah. No way".
Emma: people like you and those kids need to be believed in
Will: this is. Great, you did awesome, emma
Emma smiled until the room door opened up, revealing shannon, guiding a middle age man with dark grey hair, wearing a black suit. Beiste walked up toward Will and says. "Will. Theirs this guy asking for you". Will looks at the guy before standing up and walked toward him and says. "Hi. I'm Will schuester".
The man shook Will hand. "Nice to meet you. Uhh, my name is Neal page, and I'm one of the sponsors in this years high school nationals choir champion". Will makes a shock expression before talking. "oh really".
Neal nodded while talking. "Now you're New Direction really impressed me, i was kinda disappointed when you guys didn't made the cut". Will shrugged before saying, "well, what can you do? we gave our best shot and lose".
Neal: the kids are sad, huh?
Will: it wasn't about winning for them. It's about the love in theater
Neal: Well. They'll experience that feel in New york
Will makes a confused expression before saying. "wait. What?". Neal took out an envelope and says. "to me. I saw something in those kids that nobody else did. Not to mention you guys do sing better than those warblers". Neal handed the envelope to Will as he continues talking. "congratulation, you are now the 51st finalist to the national choir champion. I'll see you in New York". He said before walking out of the room
Will turned his head to emma and shannon with a shock expression before smiling and says. "We are going to nationals!!!". The girls cheered as emma stood up and gave Will a huge hug. "i knew you can do it!".
Will pulled away and looks at the envelope. "i can't wait to tell the kids". He said before hearing some music coming from the vents. "what is that?".
In the auditorium, the glee kids were standing in a line together, all singing at once while staring at the empty seats

The music faded away, and the group started cheering together. Rachel starts talking. "next year when we get the chance. We will be ready". The group cheered again while giving each other a hug. Will smiled as a tear rolled down his cheek
I love writing the competitions. I bet you didn't expect this. New Direction lost to the warblers, but their spirits are still growing stronger. Not only that, but New Direction performance did not go un-notice. They got a second chance and need to prepare for NATIONALS!
Next one's gonna be about Will meeting some old friends
