Lori was quite astonished to see that she can touch a burning ring on fire and not feel any pain at all, or badly burn her skin. It was almost as if nothing extremely hot or volcanic can even touch her at all. Yes, she can go deep int the bowels of Mauna Loa in Hawaii and not dissolve into ashes.

Lincoln and Bobby were also very amazed to see that Lori is now fireproof, both of their jaws were lowered to the floor as they looked amazed.

letting go of the hoop and seeing that her hand was perfectly ok and unscathed, Lori smiled as she felt invincible against fire or scorching hot temperatures with her new powers she accidentally got from the tanning bed. Perhaps this can work out for her after all. "Literally amazing!" she exclaimed as she tried flying through more flaming hoops, but alas; she was still struggling to control herself with her flight. It was apparent that Lori was still rather clumsy, but yet again; this is just the beginning of her new powers being used.

And so she continued to try using her powers for training, firing more fireballs and waves of flames against the lifeless monster dummies, though there was still a few tweaks to work out for her. There were scorch marks scattered across the floor as she was training some more.

"Oh this is literally a disaster." Lori groaned as she facepalmed herself as she was looking at the accidental damage she had created around her. "Maybe the only job i can get in the future is a living candle wick or living inside a fireplace for the rest of my life."

"Nonsense!" Lisa said. "Complete and utter nonsense."

"Yeah, you're worrying too much, Lori. It's only been... half an hour since you got your cool new powers. You just need more practice." Lincoln said. "Remember when you first started playing golf when you were little?"

"Ugh! Yeah i accidentally gave mom a black eye when i swung my first putter. I don't even want to think of how mad she was." then the eldest sister gave out a small smirk. "But at least we gave her a frozen steak for her black eye."

"You will perfect everything, babe." Bobby reassured her. "Like Lincoln mentioned, practice makes perfect."

Lori took a breath and continued training over the next four hours. It was not an easy process for her to take in and she felt tired from all of the hard work she had processed with her new powers, and sweat was running down her face. "Well, you are slowly getting better." Lincoln said. "Don't give up."

"Look, i just need a quick shower and... maybe get myself a Flippee." the oldest sister pointed out. "I literally hate sweating." She got out of Lisa's bunker and went back inside the house where she was greeted by Charles, the family dog. "Oh, hey Charles." she smiled as she knelt down to get better eye contact with him, she began playing and rubbing his belly since that is what most dogs love. She got in the shower after having her fun with the family pooch and began thinking of what she would be like in the future, and if it would affect her college registration or job applications. "Gah! I'm worrying too much. Keep it togetehr Lori, you literally got this in the bag. Like Boo-Boo Bear and Lincoln mentioned, practice makes perfect.

Nothing like warm water to ease a person's mind and clear them of negative emotions, along with a steam room, which Lori wished she had.

"Should I fly to the sun if i want to? Or... do i have to wear a space suit to go up into space?" she began thinking about what it would be like goign up to the sun with her new powers of Pyrokenesis. Would she be successful? or would she end up like Icarus from Greek Mythology? Flying up to the sun is absolutely crazy and certifiable, for the sun is the hottest object in the whole Solar System. Maybe Lori would just turn to dust, even with her new fire powers.

Doing that would be a long way ahead of her, for she had just gotten her new powers, and she didn't want to get ahead of herself. Getting out of the shower and drying herself off, she felt like having a well-deserved break after all that training. She knew just the place to help with that. She put on her normal clothes this time, for she remembered to not reveal her secret to most people in the world because of the loved ones being in danger, according to many comic book stories of superheroes.

"Mom, dad! I'm going to get a flippee!" Lori Called out. "I'll be back in a few minutes!" then she walked out the front door to get herself the nice frozen drink that everyone loves. When she got there however, the placed looked ransacked on the inside. food and nacho cheese scattered all over the floor and some shelves destroyed, and even one of the Flippee machines was completely demolished with wet red Flippee juice on the floor. Lori gasped at the sight of everything that just happened. "What happened here?!" she exclaimed.

"I told you that i already gave you what ya wanted!" said a voice. It was Flip, who peeped from the back room, and covered in many foods. "Oh! Lori. Just you." Nacho, his pet raccoon, popped up from behind him, looking unharmed.

"Flip!" Lori rushed to his aid. "What happened?"

"A bunch of muggers came and mugged me for every cent i had."

"What did you do?" asked Lori

"I didn't wanna lose my precious green babies and told them that this is the worst joint in Royal Woods and no customers ever came here." Flip said. "They didn't buy and tore the whole place down and broke my cash register. Nacho wasn't hurt but now i smell like food i don't even like!"

"Oh, Flip, you literally should never fight with muggers or lie to them, they could have had guns on them!" Lori scolded him.

"Heh, now you tell me?" Flip sarcastically remarked. "They did have guns on them."

"Can you tell me where they went?" Lori asked.

"They went northeast of here. But why do you care, Lori? And... what happened with your hair? Did you grow it out?"

Looking sheepish and nervous, Lori lied to him by saying: "My hair grew out from... luck! Yeah, luck. And some peoples' hair literally grow faster than others."

"Hmm, can't argue with that. Yesterday, i shaved my mustache off, and it grew back in a matter of five minutes."

"What? How... you know what, i don't want to know." Lori shrugged off in disgust. "I'll take care of those baddies for you. Oh! I mean, my friend will take care of them for you."

"Your friend?" said Flip

"Yeah it's a long story. I'll go get her."

"Whew. Thank goodness for that. I may not know who this friend of your is, but i bet she can save my backside for this. And... maybe give her a free Flippee for helping me out as a reward."

"Eh, she would want two free flippees." Lori bargained with him.

Flip made a small growl in defeat before saying: "Fine, but please take care of those creeps!"

"Of course. She will consider it done." Lori boldly stated. She walked out the door and then hid behind some trees, magically transforming into her new superhero form with a flash of fire. In her superhero form, she tried flying over to where those robbers went off to, though she was struggling in the process.

There, she saw a group of five men with dark clothing, carrying a bag of cash with them and they looked mean to the bone. And they also got some flippees for themselves.

Yes, it had to be these thugs. The flippees they were drinking from was clearly a dead giveaway. She grew a serious, determined look on her face, she swooped down and landed in front of the group with her hands on her hips.

"And who are you?" Asked the leader of these goons.

"I can literally ask you the same thing." Lori said in a stern voice. "What's in the bag?"

"None of your business." Said the leader. Now I suggest you run along before you get hurt

"Yeah, the only way you can take all this cash is from our dead bodies." Said a second man.

"There you go again, Peter!" The leader scolded one of his partners. "Being abrupt again!"

"I know." Said the second thug, looking ashamed. "Me and my big mouth."

"So it was you!" Lori pointed.

"Fine! Fine! So what if we got all this money from that cheap freak? You can't have it!" Said the leader. "Finder's keepers, losers weepers."

"I don't want your money. I am going to stop you from using that stolen money and return it."

An uproar of laughter came out of the six men. "What can a stupid teenage girl like you do to stop us?" Said the third thug with a smug face.

"It's stupid to take on a group of strong armed men like us." He pulled out a nine-millimeter pistol from behind him, pointing at Lori. His men followed suit, and Lori gulped.

Nevertheless, she managed to zap and melt the leader's firearms, shocking him and his cronies.

"What the?" The leader was taken aback. Without warning, Lori charged and began launching punching and kicking at the thug leader, and gave him a painful uppercut. Good thing the physical from Lisa's bunker had paid off.

One of the men was about to fire on Lori, but the girl melted that with her fire powers as well. Lori began shooting some fireballs at the ground, near the thugs' face, scaring them in the process.

"Who are you?" Said the third guy, sounding very afraid.

"A new hero." Lori remarked before melting more of their guns as they were in shock. Now they were powerless against her. Nevertheless, they tried cutting at her and fighting her physically, but Lori managed to dodge every blow and was fighting them with slight ease, but she didn't see the leader punch her in the face, but Lori managed to shoot a fireball at his right leg, causing his dark blue jeans to catch on fire.

At last when the thugs were down, Lori looked at the bag of money and picked it up. Before she can go back to Flip, the sound of a police siren was heard.

two cops got out of the car and one of them said: "freeze!"

"Wait! I am not the thief, they are!" Lori dropped the bag of money."

"Wait!" A voice called out, revealing to be Flip, running over to Lori's aid. He panted as he was next to her. "I gotta start going to the gym. Anyway, this lady saved my business. She is a hero!"

Both cops looked surprised, then realized Flip was telling the truth.

"Well." Said the second cop. "Who might you be, Miss?"

"Call me... Volcano Girl." said Lori. "I am a new superhero." She raised her hands next to her chest and created some fireballs hovering over her hands
