Chapter 5 A friend in Need
Sean flew a new fighter known as a Tie Defender to Wakanda.
"Hmph. I'll have to put Thrawn's new Fighter in production if it handles this well." Sean said as a transmission came through before his father appeared.
"Where in the hell are you going?" Fury asked.
"Wakanda. T'Chaka asked for my help. Clearly something is wrong." Sean said adjusting the controls.
"Did he say what it was?" Fury asked.
"No. But he wouldn't have asked knowing what I just went through if it wasn't serious." Sean said.
"All right. Others are on standby if you need them." Fury said.
"I doubt I'll need them." Sean said ending his transmission.
Soon he arrived at some forest making him smirk.
"This part never gets old." Sean said flying through seeing an advanced city of Wakanda.
SHIELD had long since known about this but did nothing since they never attacked anyone.
Arriving at the palace he soon landed before getting out.
"Sean." Ramonda said greeting him with a smile.
"Hey Ramonda." Sean said jumping down before cracking his neck.
"Very impressive design." Ramonda said.
"Not mine. Admiral Thrawn's design. And I'm thinking it will be put in circulation after this." Sean said before the Guard arrived before escorting him to the palace. "Ok you guys called me here. Whats going on?" Sean asked making her sigh.
"I'm afraid we need your help with a search mission." Ramonda said.
"Thats it? Come on. I know this place like the back of my hand. You got tech that can get anything done. Why ask for my help for a search mission?" Sean asked as they made it to the throne.
"Because my young friend...It's more important than it sounds." T'Chaka said.
"Whats going on?" Sean asked before seeing W'kabi looking guilty. "Someone answer me." Sean said running out of patience.
"T'challa has become sick with a poison...Because of me." W'Kabi said.
"Poison? Oh no. Please tell me you didn't go to that zone." Sean asked if not begged.
The zone was a forbidden area in Wakanda that had an unusual radiation signature that couldn't be removed.
"One of my animals had run off and we found it there. I wouldn't leave it behind and...T'Challa got sick because of me." W'Kabi said in remorse.
"Mmm." Sean said. "What do you need me to do?" Sean asked.
"Theres something that could help Cure T'Challa. A Lotus Flower. Said to be gifted with very highly unique healing properties. We know where it is. Thats not the problem." T'Chaka said.
"Let me guess. Ancestors were worried others would misuse it so they put defenses around it and you don't know what to expect." Sean said.
"Correct." T'Chaka said.
"We should not even be considering this. He is an outsider." The Merchant Tribe elder argued.
"I agree. This should be left to our own people. And W'Kabi should go since he is to blame." The Mining tribe elder said.
"QUIET!" Sean roared shocking them. "You fucking morons would rather stick to your traditions than accept help from someone willing. You disgust me. You fuckers don't even know what it means to be a human being." Sean said shocking them as they held their heads down in shame.
"Thats enough Sean." Ramonda said.
"I'm just saying whats true. I'll get the flower. But I also would like to request for some help from my people. Just to be on the safe side." Sean said.
"Of course." T'Chaka said.
Later
"Oh don't listen to those idiots. You were looking out for an animal you were responsible for. Even He would admit that." Sean said to W'Kabi.
"Thank you. So, who are you bringing along?" W'Kabi asked.
"Oh thats a surprise." Sean said going to his Tie Defender when he spotted Shuri inspecting it. "If you think of stealing that design." Sean warned amused making her giggle.
Shuri was the same age as Sean and the two were always very close.
While she was the brains he was the muscle and strategy.
"Very impressive design. SHIELD's new production?" Shuri asked.
"Close. Admiral Thrawn's designs and this is the prototype. Hasn't made production yet." Sean said.
"We should get going. The faster the better T'Challa's chances are." W'Kabi said.
"Agreed." Sean said as the three got in the Royal Talon before taking off.
Later
"And your sure this Flower will help him?" Fury asked.
"They seem pretty convinced. If they weren't they wouldn't be placing defenses around it to keep people out including their own. Must have more special properties than the Heart Shaped herb. I'm gonna need Delta squad and the Combaticons." Sean said.
"You sure?" Fury asked.
"Better to be safe than sorry." Sean said.
"All right. They'll be at the meeting point." Fury said ending his transmission.
"So what is it about this flower that they had to have it so secured?" Sean asked.
"Rumor was that one of the elders during the early years of Wakanda wanted to use it to give great strength to our warriors to conquer the world. So that only Wakanda would be the only nation." Shuri said.
"However the King and his council denied these ideals since they were not our way. But he tried to do it behind their backs and got caught." W'Kabi said.
"So they placed them under the heaviest security. Smart. And the elder?" Sean asked.
"Executed publicly." Shuri said.
"Hmm." Sean said before they arrived seeing Delta squad and the Combaticons.
"All right let's do this baby." Cole said.
"This is bullshit." Baird said.
"Baird." Marcus said annoyed.
"Oh come on. We just got back from the war on Cybertron and now we're looking for some flower?" Baird asked.
"That Flower has unique healing properties. It can save T'Challa's life. And considering the fact that SHIELD and Wakanda have small ties we help our allies." Sean said as his armor appeared on him.
"All right let's move." Onslaught said as they made it inside.
"So whats so important about Wakanda anyway? It's just a third world nation." Dom said.
"Actually not even close. Wakanda is the most advanced city in the world. The whole third world thing is just a smokescreen to keep people away." Crysis said.
"What? How?" Baird asked skeptical.
"Because of Vibranium." Shuri said amused shocking him.
"Whoa. You talking about that super rare metal we heard about?" Cole asked.
"Mmhmm. They got a mountain full of it." Crysis said.
"And SHIELD knows this? Why do only they have it. That kind of resource can change everything." Baird said.
"True...But ask yourself this. Would it be in good hands if someone like Prescott had it?" Shuri asked making him pause.
"Um...Ok I can't even argue that." Baird said.
"Wakanda knows how to handle Vibranium more than anyone. And SHIELD has been keeping that secret of theirs safe for years now knowing it's just too dangerous outside where idiots like him could use." Crysis said.
"Or that Fucking Moron Justin hammer. My god that crap of his sucks." Baird said making Shuri giggle.
"Does everyone hate his technology?" W'Kabi asked curious.
"Yup." Marcus said.
"Idiot tried making improved lancers for us...Only they screwed up and got two rookies in Critical condition because he's a moron. Our planet hasn't done business with him since." Dom said.
"The main benefactors of SHIELD when it comes to weapons and technology are either STARK industries or ATLAS." Crysis said before they came to a stop seeing a large door.
"Oh boy." Baird said as Crysis scanned the room seeing a lever and approached it.
"Be on alert now." Crysis said pulling it before the doors opened slowly.
Only for Arrows to come out.
"TAKE COVER!" Marcus yelled as they took cover behind rocks or Transformers.
"Ok. That was annoying." Brawl said.
"No fucking shit." Baird said as they moved in seeing statues of Panthers.
"Whats with the Panthers?" Dom asked.
"Panthers? They're just little pussy cats. Cougars are the real Cats baby." Cole laughed making Shuri laugh while W'Kabi chuckled.
"The Goddess Bast of Wakanda. She's the one who led the first Black Panther and King of Wakanda to the heart shaped Herb." Shuri said.
"Oooh." Cole said.
Suddenly Vibranium spikes came out of the floor on Crysis making him jump in surprise before landing breaking them.
"If I didn't have this armor that would have seriously hurt." Crysis said as Swindle stepped on them before jumping up yelling in pain jumping up and down.
"OW! What is this scrap? That actually hurts!" Swindle yelled making Shuri giggle.
"Now I'm seeing why Vibranium is so valued." Onslaught said.
"Exactly. Theres only one other metal that can compare to it. Adamantium. And Fun fact? Wolverine is made of the stuff." Crysis said as they moved in.
Going further in they avoided the traps before finally coming to the final door.
"This is it." Shuri said as Crysis opened the door before they saw the inside seeing some waterfall.
"Damn. No wonder you kept the place hidden." Dom said looking down seeing the White Lotus flower before Crysis started getting some samples.
"At least 10 should be enough." Shuri said.
"Taking Extra just incase. Doesn't hurt to take more incase an incident takes place." Crysis said.
"How right you are my old friend."
Crysis widened his eyes turning to see Zemo.
"It's been a long time." Zemo said.
"Zemo." Crysis said pulling out his Lancer.
"Thats Zemo?" Baird asked.
"Whats with the sock mask? Just wanting to hide that butt ugly face of yours? Or were you just born that way?" Cole laughed.
"Amusing from a has been sports player." Zemo said dryly shocking him.
"Oh shit." Marcus said.
"Has-been? HAS-BEEN! Oh motherfucker you are dead!" Cole yelled shooting at him but the bullets just floated.
"What the?" Dom said before someone else stood out.
"Allow me to introduce my associate who trained Herr Sidious." Zemo said as he removed his hood showing his face.
"Crysis...We meet at last." plagueis said grinning.
"And you are?" Baird asked.
"I am Darth Plagueis. The Lord of the Sith." Plagueis said pulling out a red lightsaber.
"Thats a Sith Lord?" Dom asked.
"I thought these guys were supposed to be scary." Cole said.
"Looks are not everything." Crysis said before pulling out a green malevolence lightsaber staff. (Look up Malevolence Lightsaber staff)
Both charged at each other using their blades to fight with every ounce of skill and power.
Zemo started shooting at the others but the shots were blocked by Onslaught and Brawl before they shot at him.
"You're out of your league little man." Brawl said before more troops rushed in.
"Whats the saying? Let your enemy do all the work for you? A wise saying." Zemo mocked.
"Ah fuck!" Marcus yelled shooting at them.
Crysis and Plagueis continued to fight proving both were equal in skill.
"My, my. I see exactly why Zemo respects you despite being enemies. It's no wonder you killed my former Apprentice." Plagueis said impressed before Crysis started shooting at him but he blocked each shot easily. "And not afraid to switch tactics unlike the Jedi before you arrived...If only the Sith found you first." Plagueis said.
"Funny you say that considering the Sith made me and the original Crysis squad. Sith from the days of the Old Republic." Crysis said shocking him before he saw the enemy was beginning to overrun them making him growl before stepping away. "ONSLAUGHT! CALL IN ENERGON BOMBERS!" Crysis roared.
"What? But what about..." Onslaught asked.
"DO AS I HAVE ORDERED ONSLAUGHT!" Crysis roared.
"Right. Onslaught to command. Requesting bombardment on our location. NOW!" Onslaught yelled.
Outside
Starscream and Jetfire were making the run.
"Uh...We sure we wanna do this?" Jetfire asked.
"You wanna argue with Crysis after taking down Sentinal? I don't." Starscream said before bombers came in.
"Save your Mavericks." The Bomber said firing two Energon bombs. "Two away."
Inside
Crysis suddenly opened a space bridge.
"OUT! NOW" Crysis yelled as they rushed through just as it closed before the whole place began to explode.
Outside
Crysis and the others were just outside the mountain when it exploded.
"Bast." W'Kabi said.
"I wasn't about to let Zemo and worse Plagueis get their hands on those flowers if they were considered a risk to the old Kings." Crysis said.
"I agree." Shuri said.
"The elders won't be pleased but I'm sure they'll understand once we tell them what happened." W'Kabi said.
"I doubt Sock face and that Muun guy survived." Baird said.
"Oh Don't be so sure. Zemo has survived a lot worse...And so have the Sith. They'll be back." Sean said as reinforcements arrived.
Later
"You destroyed it?" The Boarder tribe elder asked in shock.
"We had no choice. If Zemo got his hands on those flowers God Knows what they would do." Sean said.
"Sadly I must Agree." The River Tribe elder said.
"But we got the flowers and plenty to spare. We can relocate them to a place where they can thrive and be used for good. Naboo would be a nice place." Sean said.
"Hmmm. Very well." T'Chaka said as the meeting ended. "Sean? A word." T'Chaka said as everyone else left. "I know it wasn't an easy call to make. But you made the right choice bombing the temple." T'Chaka said.
"Yeah. I'm not one to let ancient history be lost but it was for the best. And now...Now we know that Zemo and the Sith are still alive. The Jedi council is not gonna like any of that." Sean said.
"I don't doubt it." T'Chaka said.
Later.
T'Challa groaned downing his drink that was curing him.
"Bast. Could you have made it less vile?" T'Challa asked making Shuri scoff.
"Maybe I'll add dirt to it next time to make it better." Shuri said making Sean chuckle.
"I swear. How you feeling?" Sean asked.
"Better. One of these days we must remove that Toxic wasteland so close to home." T'Challa said.
"Yeah. Seriously though this whole thing turned into a nightmare. Not only did Zemo show up but Sidious's master as well. And the guy is ten times more terrifying than him." Sean said.
"What did he want the flower for?" Shuri asked.
"Super soliders? Instant healing Serum. You name it. But the whole place went up in smoke. So theres no need for total concern." Sean said.
Later
Sean was getting ready to leave with a small amount of Vibranium with him.
"Leaving so soon?" Shuri asked.
"I need a vacation. And I'm taking one for at least a full month after all this crap." Sean said making her giggle.
"So you'll stop by again?" Shuri asked.
"Course." Sean said as he walked back to his fighter.
"Ahem." Ramonda said shocking her making her turn seeing her mother and father looking amused.
"What?" Shuri asked.
"Shuri...If you don't express how you really feel...You're gonna end up losing him to someone else." Ramonda said making her blush while T'Chaka chuckled.
"If I had to see you with an outsider...It would be with one I know I can trust like him. Some may disapprove, but in the end if you're happy thats all I want to see." T'Chaka said making her smile before rushing off to him.
"Sean?" Shuri said getting his attention as he stopped. "I...I wanted to just." Shuri tried to say.
"Yes?" Sean asked before she smiled pulling him into a kiss which he returned making the parents smile while T'Challa in a floating chair smirked.
"About damn time." T'Challa said.
Meanwhile
Zemo growled in annoyance seeing all the flowers destroyed.
"Clever my old friend." Zemo said.
"I see your description of his tactics are completely accurate. No matter...In time He will be nothing to us." Plagueis said smirking.
Author's Note: Unexpected huh? So Shuri will be the main girl in this pic since I wanted to give it to someone who's underrated in my view, Anyway Next Chapter involves one of the other series added to this. A rescue mission for a certain young girl of four nations. And expect some character changes to one who's usually levelheaded. Anyway here at last is the Harem.
