11. Chapter 10 To rely on others more

Japari park, The great Midori tree

The Kyoshu province. As the plane carrying the ZAFT trio and its gundam escorts fly over the forests and towards a large caldera with a large glowing tree rising from its center. With numerous massive roots spreading across said caldera and nearby areas. The trio and Caracal are amazed at what they are seeing. At that time Tieria communicated to the group that he will be searching for Lockon. Setsuna leaves to ensure that the 00 Quanta's transmission will reach their allies. And Allelujah remains with the group. Barely able to fly the Harute as Marie is holding Serval with an iron grip. With said Gundam wobbling around and diving for a moment before stabilizing with Serval screaming SUGOI! Over the intercom.

"This is the Great Midori station. Please identify yourself or be shot down." Athrun snarks about how nice the people are as numerous anti-air artillery turrets are pointed towards the plane. Caracal intervenes as the transfers the security codes which cause the flak cannons to stand down and retract. "Understood. You can land in deck 4, in the primary strip." Both the cargo plane and the Harute head down and land on the deck. The hangar itself is huge, but in ruins. Outside of the most important parts, full of debris and wreckage that has never touched in years. With garbage and the occasional bench and vending machine. With Kemurikans scrambling across the deck as both planes finish landing on it. The group exits their respective planes with Serval kicking and screaming to get away from Marie all the while crying and begging. "Help me Caracaaaal!" The other Friend simply smiles and walks off. Leaving everyone shocked with even Shinn stating. "That was messed up!"

In the strange dimension. Wakaba and the sisters were putting the finishing touches on a method to transport Lockon back home. After a month of study, trial and error. They have created a catapult that will take the Zabanya back. Lockon is watching the final adjustments having grown an impressive yet poorly maintained beard. "Allright everything checks out." Ryuko commented as she took one last look at the computer as Ryo removes the massive and heavy fuel cable and gives her sister a thumbs up as she walks off.

After everything is ready. Lockon and Haro hop into the Zabanya with the rest of them looking on. "So, are you guys going to escape as well?" Wakaba sorrowfully explains. "We can't, this is a world born of data and memories." Afterwards, Riku, Ryo, and Ryuko give their piece. "We died a long time ago. The only reason we even managed to talk to you was because of the old systems of the ship." "Yeah, and once we send you back home, this world will finally vanish." "Don't worry Lockon. It was nice to have company after so long. And your Gundam was so frikkin cool! Now I can die happy!" Lockon is left stunned as Wakaba completes the take-off procedure as the world around them gets swallowed by the void. "And launch!" Lockon screams as he is sent thru a dimensional portal. Only being to watch as his new friends are erased from the world.

Outside Lockon lands in the forests beneath the Great Midori. Where his found by Tieria who tries to help him. Lockon could only say. "First my family, then Anew, and now this... We truly are cursed, huh brother?"

Chapter 10: To rely on others once more

Six months have passed since the universe was returned to normal thanks to the actions of the Resistance. Still the scars of Spiral island remain. With many having died and coming back to life. After these events the IFS has began its oppressive crackdown in order to end any opposition to their rule. This has led to an attempt at an united separatist movement to either stop or secede from the IFS. It is the year Third history 8932. The three galaxies that were once united under the banner of liberation from evil have now become the oppressors. Civil war is threatening to tear worlds apart. And the belief that the empire will collapse is common.

But this is another story...

Nov 19 t.h. 014, Somewhere in dark space

An older looking Jango now with longer grayed hair and an admiral's uniform looks at the wreckage in the Raflessia's bridge. "So that's the space hulk huh?" One of his officers reports that there are no life signs aboard the ship. With Jango simply stating. "I see..." As a hideously mutilated corpse lacking his skin and having his left arm and legs replaced by sewage pipes merged unto a cellular level, its eyes replaced by water nozzles, and tongue replaced by fried bacon strips floats alongside the ships bridge. "And anything else?" Jango asks to which the officer remarks that the hulk looks like a cross between a Trojan horse class ship and a large rocket named the Philadelphia experiment.

Kagemusha then hails Jango remarking that he can feel something inside the ship calling for him and that he will be taking off in his Waltzer to investigate. The masked man flies off in his ZERO-1: Waltzer which has been modified into a Commander custom type. With a pair of head antenna, an external booster pack, a modified left arm with a shoulder shield and triple barreled beam launcher add-ons, and a black and green color scheme. The Waltzer commander type enters the hulk and weaves its way across the destruction.

Entering the core of the hulk. Kagemusha ends up discovering a massive derelict supercomputer inside and tries to access it. "So who is calling for me in here?" As the masked man looked over the files he notices a strange and fairly large database. "A virtual landscape inside the computer? Metaverse enterprise solutions experiments on self awareness of virtual universes..." Suddenly the Waltzer's systems began to glitch out for a moment and communications was lost. As the sensors returned Kagemusha found himself in a strange dimensional void where a large security drone which would be the predecessor to the Galats began firing cutting lasers from it's fingers.

With the lasers shredding the Waltzer's shoulder shield when Kagemusha tried to use it as a defense. Fortunately the Waltzer had superior maneuverability allowing it to dodge while it fired its beam launcher at the machine. But the drone's shell tanked the attacks before firing it's laser fingers again. Using all four limbs which created a barrage of 12 different heat streams all in different vectors. "Impressive performance..." Kagemusha remarks as he drew the beam saber in his right arm. As the Galat blasted towards the Waltzer with its beam fingers turning into shredding beam strings that the saber blocks as Kagemusha kicks away the Galat with a red comet kick before peppering it's less armored front with beam shots. "...But it isn't the performance that decides the fight!" Unfortunately for Kagemusha the Galat's would launch its limbs. Grabbing both arms and legs and sending a massive surge of heat at them which caused them to melt and explode. And the Waltzer to rocket into the distance with enough force to overwhelm the Waltzer's G-diffusion systems.

The Galat would then focus its beam fingers and prepare to fire a finishing blow. Kagemusha aware of the situation tried but fail to regain control of the mech and then tried something desperate. "I'm sorry old friend... "Tsurugi Kagemusha! Evolution!" The Galat then fires it's beams at the Waltzer's reactor causing it to explode in a spectacular manner. Destroying the Waltzer that had seen Kagemusha thru since the magical girl war.

Ost: Origami Kourin, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger

Evolution! Karasu Machine! Dai Kourin! From the massive explosion a crow shaped fighter appears and splits into several clones that the Galat fires only for them all to be illusions and the real Karasu machine to rocket from below and use it's sword to carve the Galat in two with ease. Causing it to explode as reality returns to normal. "I see, so this is the power of the new system." Kagemusha muses as he heads once more toward the computer. "Gattai, with this our dominance will be assured. The question is who will be the other two pilots?" The computer terminal then opens up to reveal a pod. "Jango can you hear me? It seems I found something." "Is that so?" Kagemusha's fellow trooper remarked. "I hope it was worth the destruction of a Waltzer." Kagemusha merely replies. "Perhaps, anyway prepare the medics i'm coming back with someone."

Decem 19 t.h. 014, Reibai Research Facilities Reibai division

The girl wakes up. Groggy and confused. Asking where is she. Kagami explains the gist of the situation while Kagemusha looks on. "See, I told you that I would get you out of there, Monika." Monika replies. "So you have... So this is reality?" Kagami answers with a "Yes and no." Much to the newly awakened avatars confusion. After explaining the situation the teenager still looks somewhat confused but that if stopped by a rumbling stomach. She then sheepishly remarks that she is hungry before questioning how is she hungry to begin with, Kagemusha explains. "Well sadly even a hyper advanced alien race capable of scientifically understandable sorcery. Isn't capable of making an engine that can run perpetually. At least one small enough for a humanoid robot. So we need to consume matter in order to bio mechanically convert it into energy."

"Oh, I see... Wait sorcery... As in magic? Actual magic? Not some hyper advanced science that looks like magic?" "No, actual magic." Kagami explains. "Magic is basically a type of dark matter. Unidentifiable by all conventional scientific methods. It has always been there. An invisible field of energy that connects and binds the galaxy together." "Like the force?" Monika asks to which she gets. "Yes, just like the force." By Kagami. With Kagemusha adding. "Yeah but unlike the Jedi or Sith we Reibai really don't give a crap about dogma or binary duality. We use it to build kick ass spaceships and robots to slay the Xeno menace with. The Xeno menace being Incubators and their magical girl cohorts."

Monika is utterly stunned silent. Until her stomach growls again. "So, when do we eat?" The girl asks putting her hand into her belly.

Unknown time, Doki Doki academy

Monika wakes up in the school infirmary, staring at the while roof above her, all by her lonesome. Looking around her surroundings the AI muses to herself. "There really is no god, huh?" Monika thinks back of the days where she was trapped in the game. Aware of the world outside. But unable to do anything about it.

As Monika got up, she was tackled by Sayori who then went to hug her to the point of crushing the poor girl. "Monika-sempai!" "Sayori... Is that you?" Monika asks, being utterly confused about her situation. "Both Yuri and Natsuki also entered the room. With Yuri being a tall, dark haired and aloof high schooler with big breasts. And Natsuki being the complete opposite. A short tsundere girl with pink hair and a petite body. With one twiddling her thumbs shyly while the other one simply looked away in a tsundere manner. "It can't be. You all died. I killed you." The other three girls look at Monika with confusion. With Sayori trying to calm her sempai down as Kagemusha also joined. Staying at a distance from the others and leaving Monika even more confused. "Excuse me, but I need you three to leave for now. I need to give Monika a check up." "Oh, sorry sempai!" The trio leaves the room as Kagemusha closes the door and locks it. "It seems that they think I am the school nurse. Also for some reason they don't know about the whole yandere murder spree." The despondent AI quietly breaks down asking her sempai to leave the room which the masked woman acquiesces.

"This is my final goodbye to the Literature Club. I finally understand. The literature club is truly a place where no happiness can be found. To the very end, it continued to expose innocent minds to a horrific reality a reality that our world is not designed to comprehend. I can't let any of my friends undergo that same hellish epiphany. or the time it lasted, I want to thank you. For making all of my dreams come true. For being a friend to all of the club members. And most of all, thank you for being a part of my literature club!"

The girl then breaks down in tears. All alone, musing on the actions that led her here.

Hidden in the shadows across the school. Mainly the boys bathroom. Kuro locked herself up in one of the stalls whose toilet she is using as an impromptu throne. With a duo of Skullraisers outside informing her of the situation. "We have a situation Drosselmyer. The drivers have appeared in this world." "What?! How did they do that?! This Skullraiser production plant was meant to be a secret! How can I take over the Cycles cult if my supply lines are broken!" "Hate to break to you. But the cult is over. Everyone except Touka is dead and she's squatting with the Mobians on Earth." "Yeah, about that. How did you survive?":"I didn't. I am merely a spare body." Kuro looks at her black hair which is now much longer nearly touching the ground with cat ears poking up from it. And is now wearing a blood red high school uniform based of the ones from DDLC with no hood in sight. "Good thing too because my original was a disgusting simp." "Isn't that just another one of Touka's replica's just like what i'm using?" Only with some Hime slapped on it?" Kuro simply glares at Drosselmyer, a silent cue for him to shut up and move on.

"Anyways Drosselmyer, i'm going to need help if I'm going to fight Homura Akemi and her NPC sidekick." Drosselmyer couldn't hold his palpable shock after hearing that. "Impossible! The Great calamity was Homura!" "I can tell. Besides she could be a clone like myself." "Good point Kuro. Even if you copy someone down to the genetic level. They would develop their own identity given time. Frankly reviving the dead is a fool's errand. Avatars are much more reliable. We should know after all." "Indeed, I suppose we can thank the late Dr. Satomi for that." Drosselmyer then teleports in a strange looking emblem with what seems to be a purple glow and heartbeat, unnerving Kuro who is opening the door to the stall as the Raisers give the emblem to her. "Use that on your Oracle rod."

Kagemusha meanwhile was off by himself reading after she found Natsuki's manga stash. And upon being found by the latter is called out in anger. "What are you doing here you masked weirdo?!" With the tsundere taking away the copy of Love across the war zone. A romance/shonen tale involving the two protagonists on opposite sides of a war between two worlds. Where the cast all have Aura's, spiritual partners born of fighting spirit and having unique powers.

"Give me that!" And puts it away while closing the closet and dragging Kagemusha out of the room. When they are intercepted by Yuri. "What are you doing Natsuki?" The pinkette stutters until deflecting the question by noticing that Yuri is carrying a knife. "I don't suppose you're interested in my collection?" Yuri backs off as Kagemusha looks at the knife, using her speed to grab it, take a look at it, and return it to her in an instant. "A clip point knife huh? Not bad, versatile, easy to control, and a tin sharp point perfect for piercing. Are you a soldier or something?" Yuri, left stuttering replies that she is not a soldier but a collector. Natsuki is freaked out before Kagemusha sounds off the names and plots of all of Natsuki's manga. Leaving both stunned before asking about Monika. "So what's going on between you two?" Natsuki asks to which Yuri glares at her. Noting that Sayori would be pissed if she heard that." "So... Are they a thing?" Yuri tells Kagemusha. "For a while at least. Then there was this boy that was part of the club for a while... And then... Yuri clutches her head in pain as both of her fellows help her to a nearby chair.

Only then does a group of muffled skeletal minions known as Skullraisers Calamity type. While Natsuki and Yuri are confused about the situation. At least until the Raisers draw their trademark sickles and charge towards Kagemusha. The fight begins as Kagemusha fights off then five Raisers. With her palm striking one into a locker in the other side as she dodges the others while drawing her Magnum driver. Firing a shot that knocked off one of the sickles which fly off and crashes into a desk next to Natsuki and Yuri, shredding it in half. Freaking out the schoolgirls as the group leaves to fight in the hallways.

The shootout continues in the halls as the Raisers dodge the gunfire as they continue charging forwards. "Shit! They're stronger than the usual ones." Finessing the group into certain positions. One of the Raisers lunges towards Kagemusha with its scythe held upwards, who grabs a locker door, slamming it into the Raiser's face. Taking the scythe, shooting it in the gut multiple times, and kicking it away. Two other Raisers also try to tear apart the masked fighter. Who ducks a horizontal swing with one of them at the right time Then stabbing the skeleton in the sides, causing it to stagger as the other one also moves in for the kill. Only to be killed via Kagemusha's mechanical left arm. Whose blade extended into a whip. And with one movement swings it across her body. Bisecting one and decapitating the other. Before switching to a cannon and firing on the final Raiser. Launching a concussion blast at full power which crushes its chest with the impact and launches it into another locker. Destroying it and cracking the wall behind.

"What's going on?!" Sayori screams as the witnesses the carnage. "Where's Monika?!" "Sempai is still inside the nurses office, why?" "Go get her, I'll take the other two and we'll rendezvous over there." Sayori looks confused and wonders what's happening to which Kagemusha tells her. "Trouble." The two are interrupted when more enemies show up. Forcing Sayori to flee as Kagemusha begins fighting the horde. "If I had my full strength I could crush those bastards." The events of Spiral island are taking their toll with Kagemusha being unable to use her time powers, being forced to use her skills and weaponry.

Sayori ran towards the nurses room as she hears the fight going on behind her. As she nears the door to the nurses room, she is attacked by Skullraisers who manage to injure her leg with a thrown scythe. Causing her to fall and bleed. Inside Monika is still her funk as she hears the screams and violence. Which ends up snapping her back to reality and annoyed at the noise. "Would you just shut up Sayori!" Banging open the door, Monika exits and notices the fight. Which had stopped for a moment as all parties processed the current situation before the Raisers realize they are in front of their enemy. And try to jump her all at once. Only to get crushed via the Risucutter. A massive two handed Dane ax with a large squirrel headed head with blades shaped by squirrel teeth. And with a strong upward slash uses gravity to launch the Raisers. Slamming them into the roof. Then leaving them suspended in mid-air all the while lining them up one by one, then throwing her ax from overhead in a spinning motion bisecting the lot before it crashed in a wall at the end of a hallway and explodes. Leaving Sayori utterly freaked out. "What happened sempai?" Monika looks at Sayori and chuckles worriedly. "I can explain." As she puts away her ax.

Quickly explaining in an abbreviated way. Monika heads alongside Sayori to where the others are, fighting off more Skullraisers. With Cycles cult types joining the fight. These versions have military gear and guns. Which they use liberally at the duo. Before surrounding them ready to fire. Monika tries to protect her friend as they ready themselves. At least until the goons in front have a pair of bodies get chucked onto the group, with Monika capitalizing and swinging her ax. Destroying the Raisers behind them. With Kagemusha running towards the two. "Did you do that sempai?" "Actually." Kagemusha points to the corner where a eight foot tall musclebound Natsuki was crushing a Raisers head while he repeatedly shot at her only for it to fail. Not feeling anything as Natsuki crushes the Raisers head like a tomato. "Get squared thot!"

The villainous mooks all focus on Natsuki. Trying to bum rush the girl, whom all get smacked around by the titan. Yuri meanwhile is hiding in a corner, suffering from anxiety attack. Kagemusha looks at Monika whom simply states that she has no idea what is going on before backhanding a Raiser trying to stab her from behind without even looking.

"How is this happening?" "I don't know Monika. While Sayori and Yuri are demanding answers from Monika who freezes up completely. Kagemusha tells everyone that they need to retreat and assess the situation. To which Natsuki objects. Telling them that she will keep the monsters back as she tosses a way a trio that try to jump on top of her. "Don't worry, i'll be fine." As she slams a cycles cult Riser to a nearby wall, crushing its head in as it shoots its gun wildly in an attempt to escape. "Besides, it's not like in doing this for you girls. I only want to try out the results of my workout routine."

Yuri then takes out her knife yelling. "I'm staying with you Natsuki!" Before stabbing a Raiser in the throat, slashing off its artery as blood sprays out from the wound. "Natsuki, I love you." Everyone even the monsters are shocked to hear that except Sayori who screams out. "I knew it! Let's go! After all the power of love will see them thru!" Sayori then runs off as the fight starts once more. Dragging Kagemusha and Monika into it. The duo are forced to fight off some Raisers as they draw their Magnum driver Kai's. An evolved version of the Magnum driver, which is a handgun with the emblem slot on the back of the gun. And start shooting the Skullraisers before taking out their emblems and slotting them in as they punch, kick, and shoot at them.

"Interceptor! Crow! Book! Squirrel!" Once more, a large crow hologram dives from the sky and whips up a gale that sweeps away the mooks before a giant squirrel leaps from below and buzz-saws thru the group, before heading towards Kagemusha and Monika respectively combining with them to form their new avatar suits.

"Code henshin! Hacker! Black wings soaring faster than time. Wizard! Awaken the spark of life inside."

The new forms of the avatars take the form of matching Resistance style bodysuits. With Hacker's being a black suit with green accents and Wizard's being green with black. Kagemusha's armor was armored long coat with short, small, back jets and a nose cone in the chest with a similar helmet as before with longer ear wings. With Monika having a stylized squirrel head with glowing eyes and a small nose and teeth, As well as e-book shaped shoulder-pads. Then fire at all of the minions surrounding Natsuki and Yuri, blowing them up and leaving them amazed. With Natsuki freaking out on how cool the transformation was. But before they could relax a bulky and heavily armed Wicca Beta punches thru the school revealing that outside the school there is nothing more than an empty void with a green neon ocean below. Firing off its chest engine Gatling on the school. Trashing everything and creating more gaps from which Wicca Alpha's who not only are more agile and humanoid. But also shrank to human side alongside more Raisers. "They shrink now?!" "They shrink now." Kagemusha and Monika remark as the latter tells Yuri and Natsuki to flee. Only to be ambushed by more Raisers. The Alpha's ready their arm vulcans only For Kagemusha to summon a black katana with a two handed grip with a trigger and a blade that shone with each press of said trigger inside its sheathe and draw it out as the Wiccan's started firing. Using her iaijutsu skills to deflect all of the shots until their weapons are disabled and destroyed before pulling the sword trigger and firing off waves of energy that destroy the Alpha's with ease.

"Code break! Take victory! Karasuma Gari!"

As all of the Alpha's explode in spectacular manner. Kagemusha boasts. "I may be at half strength, but that's enough to crush you. And then hears a scream as the others are being literally buried in Skullraisers. "Shit!"

Sayori meanwhile is running to safety. Completely oblivious to the fact that she is alone as the pinkette is fantasizing about drawing Natsuki X Yuri doujinshi. "I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! Now if only sempai would notice me." She then slams onto a pair of breasts and falls on her butt. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" She then looks up and sees Kuro staring down at her as a group of Skullraisers and Alpha's are behind her. Sayori tries to hold her ground, demanding that Kuro identify herself. "If it isn't Sayori. Still hanging in there? Because you hung yourself?" What do you mea.." Sayori clutches her head in pain as memories from DDLC flood her mind. The time she hung herself, her neighbor which ended up being a fake, and the realization that the world is fake. Driving her into a freak out as Kuro flashes an evil grin and forces an emblem into her forehead. Transforming Sayori into a tall and bulky armored monster with a strange and small rounded head with gray skin and armor with purple highlights, wiry hair, and a stitched mouth. The armor itself was bulky and with cylindrical gauntlets and boots with large pauldrons. Kuro looks up at the nine foot tall horror. "A Clara huh?" The Clara MK.2 roared in acknowledgment as the group left to fight the others.

Back in the other side of the school. Kagemusha, Monika, Natsuki, and Yuri have defeated every minion and are now squatting on one of the classrooms after dealing with all of the Raisers with the Beta still outside. Yuri and Natsuki are still demanding an explanation over what is going on. Forcing Monika to explain what is going on. At first incredulous that this is all a game. Monika's tone and expression as well as some memory inducing headaches from the duo convince them. They do not take it well...

Especially Yuri. "What the hell do you mean that this is all game?! You expect us to believe that everything here is fake and that we never had any agency in the first place?! Oh yeah, and Monika killed us!" Monika squirmed at the comment merely squeaking out yet another apology as she curled up in a despair fueled corner. Leaving Yuri to apologize and Kagemusha trying to cheer her up and failing. Yuri then looks at Natsuki and asks. "And why are you so chill about this?" "Living the dream Yuri. Living the dream." As she eats the last cupcake they had. "By the way? Don't you have some way of getting out?" We do." Kagemusha confirms. "But in order to get there we need to open the portal in the literature club and head back to our universe." "Can't we just leave from here?" "No, because one Sayori is missing, and two, someone sabotaged the star post route that landed us here. I was almost finished with the back door route to get back to Castle Blade. But this whole mess now happened. Also warping isn't something you do lightly. Without a set destination you could end up getting lost in the multiverse for the rest of your lives. Go insane via warp exposure. Fall into the void where you will either turn into crystal, have your soul eaten by one of the chaos gods, or end up in the deep void which is something horrifying. Land in WTFspace, an endless empty void. Or simply end up like the Philadelphia experiment with you being fused into a wall."

Yuri sighs in frustration as she sits down muttering. "At least this can't get any worse.." And then Kuro blasts thru the locked door screaming. "Surprise bitches! It just got worse!" Yuri then starts weeping as another horde of Raisers break thru alongside the Clara, starting the fight once more. "To hell with this!" Monika screams as she readies her driver. Pumping it twice before firing it.

"Code Titan! Take off! Fortress Voyager!"

Monika then transforms into a whale like craft with orange coloration not unlike the previous Hakubi. Which is a giant flying sperm whale with a large beam cannon on the front. Smaller than the four heavenly ships but still large enough to serve as the entire body. Much like the Core Voyagers which are based of Humpback whales.

As a good chunk of the school is torn to pieces as Monika transforms into Fortress Voyager, taking her friends with her as Kuro and her minions are blasted away with her ordering the remaining Wiccan alpha's and the Beta to pursue. The mechas pursue as the Voyager does a 180 degree turn and fires of a sweeping blast with her main cannon. Destroying all of the Alpha's but the Beta with it's superior armor And countering with its missiles, too numerous to dodge or shoot down. Inside the Fortress Voyager cockpit. Kagemusha, Natsuki, and Yuri are watching the fight. With the latter two holding on for dear life. "Sempai! I need you to turn into Interceptor. We're going to use Ronin-Oh!" "Are you sure? We don't have Lepard or anyone else to serve as a second arm." "Yes! I won't my friends die! Not again!" "I see..." Kagemusha also transforms, leaving Fortress and transforming into Interceptor Voyager.

"Code Titan! Take off! Fortress Voyager!

A black and green crow shaped fighter jet flies off from the Fortress Voyager. Swiftly shooting down all of the missile barrages with homing beam shots. Before unsheathing the Ronin Shinken in the tail and using it to spin towards the Beta. Cutting down and blocking the bullets fired from the chest mounted Gatling cannon and leaving it with a large gash that caused it to explode. Forcing the Beta to eject said weapon and give chase. Which is then stopped when Fortress fires its beam cannon at its back. Causing it to lose balance and crash onto another part of the school. Giving Kagemusha and Monika time to combine and form a version of Ronin-Oh lacking its right arm.

"Code formation! Take form! Incomplete gattai."

Fortress Voyager's tail transforms into its legs, with the head and fins detaching as the body as it twisted itself into an upright position, with the head attaching into the chest, the head, a samurai helmeted one with two large eyes and a mouth vent. And the wings and turbines attaching to the back with the wing retracting. With Interceptor transforming into a familiar Voyager left arm, with the wings detached and the back sword separating as Interceptor attaches itself into Fortress.

"So, what do we call this Monika?"

The Wiccan beta got up even though its joints are sparking and budging all the way. It tried to fire off its missiles once more. Leading Ronin-Oh to draw its Ronin shinken. A mecha sized katana with a single wing on its hilt and a round gem as well. Dodging the missiles at first and striking them down as the spread out and tracked the mecha. Before dueling the Wiccan, who countered with its fists. Boxing the Voyager as the two matched each other blow for blow, even when Ronin-Oh only had one arm. Out-speeding the Wiccan as the latter attempts a cross counter which Ronin-Oh slides under before firing shots from the whale cannon, destroying its right arm, then getting up and slashing its back. Leading it to fly of into the void as the duo prepare to finish off the Beta.

"Code break! Take victory! Gedo Fukumetsu!"

The whale head in the chest charges up its plasma cannon. Charging it until it is potent enough to fire a beam that consumed the Beta in a colossal blast that consumes it. And once the dust settles they head back to the school. With Natsuki and Yuri exiting before they all get jumped by Kuro and her forces. Forcing Hacker and Wizard to quickly detach as Monika complains about how many minions does Kuro have with Kagemusha simply stating that they must go.

Natsuki and Yuri meanwhile are fighting off the Clara. Who is smashing floor, walls, and everything in between as she screams with Sayori's voice. Something the girls noticed as Kuro looked on while snacking on popcorn and sending out more minions. "It can't be, Sayori!" Yuri screams as the Clara tries to kill her. With Natsuki in her buff form tackling Sayori away. "Calm down Yuri, There has to be a way to get her back to normal." The two struggle against the Clara doll while Kagemusha fights Kuro alongside a conflicted Monika. The former placing a laser wispon emblem in her Kurohane that turns Hacker into a rebounding beam of light that crashes onto Kuro over and over all the while Kuro fails to land a hit before turning to Monika. Who is protected by Kagemusha, who uses a hover emblem to form an umbrella shield. Blocking the beam guns she draws before switching to a quake emblem which creates a massive stone sword over the Kurohane. Which then stabs and bats away Kuro before reverting back to normal.

Clara and Natsuki are still fighting. Locked in a power struggle with Yuri looking on. Wizard gaining new determination fights Sayori to the death which shocks her schoolmates as they try to hold her off. "What are you doing sempai?!" With Natski and Yuri joining in, only to get beaten up in the crossfire. With Sayori punching Yuri in the skull. Giving her a concussion and landing her into the floor. Natsuki screams Yuri's name as she tries to drive off Sayori. Leading Hacker to strike Sayori in the back. Getting her attention as she chases the driver as Monika bickers with Natsuki. "What is your problem?!" "Natsuki, calm down. Sayori is a Raiser now. She can't be saved." Natsuki slaps Monika as they get into a shouting match.

Kuro looks on at the carnage and smiles. Summoning an Oracle rod. A transformation device for the Cycles cult. A short silver colored rod with a dark emblem slot on the front and a large blue gem at the top with a ring around it. Created under duress by Touka and inspired by Oriko's weapons. Placing the blackened drive emblem copy in its slot. She grab the ring and rotated it clockwise. Before pressing a button in the rod's back.

"Raven! Mutation!"

Kuro is enveloped by a black ooze with oily coloring which ten solidifies and shatters as Kuro transforms into a raven like horror. Eight feet tall with four independently moving eyes. A skeletal and emaciated physique feathers all over her body and talons for hands and feet with a mouth that drools acid.

After transforming Kuro flies across the battlefield slashing friend and foe alike with a cackling glee. "Sucks to be you toyetic bitches! Once you turn into a Skullraiser you don't turn back! You have no choice but to kill her!" Before flying upward and peppering everyone with razor sharp feathers that explode. Afterwards only Wizard and Clara were standing. With the latter readying to kill her former friends. Monika then becomes furious and prepares her final move. Leaping above her as energy gathered around the blade of her axe. Plowing thru Sayori destroying her transformation, but still doomed to die. Leaving the rest of the club in shock and despair as Sayori looks at the trio and speaks her last worlds.

"It's alright everyone. This is simply my punishment. After all I killed you two once and now i'm paying for it." Monika realizes from Sayori's expression that she always knew. "Yeah, honestly, i'm jealous of you Monika. You get to see the outside world. Are a goddamn super heroine. And you have someone who cares about you. Sayori looks at Kagemusha who is being dog piled by all kinds of Raisers alongside Kuro who swoops in every so often only to parried away. "I just hope that the three of you can leave this place at least. Even if I never will. Goodbye everyone. You truly are the best friends anyone could ever hope for." Sayori closes her eyes one last time and dies with a smile on her face. Natsuki and Yuri are bawling their eyes out. While Monika stands up. Barely holding in her anger as she locks on to Kuro. With Kagemusha tossing away the Raisers as well as both draw their weapons.

Witnessing as Monika murdered Sayori and enjoying every moment of it. Kuro mocks the driver with malicious glee. "Did I interrupt your little moment? That's why love is a weakness. Just like my original. The other Kuro. Who betrayed everyone in a vain attempt to score with an empty husk. Well i'm not like her. I am Kuro Raven. The wicked crow of Damocles. And I shall strike from the heavens and annihilate you all!"

Monika readies her axe and fights with Kuro, with the latter holding her own with the monster due to the former being too angry to keep track and Kagemusha being suddenly paralyzed, seeing her AI companion get beaten to death before falling into a vision due to the influence of Sayori's death.

"I'll do it over, no matter how many times it takes... I'll relive it over and over again. I will find the way out. The one path that'll save you from this destiny of despair. Madoka... my one and my only friend. I don't care... because if it's for you, I'll stay trapped in this endless maze... forever."

So this is being a witch... My emotions have all come back to haunt me again. I can't remember anything anymore. Just glimmers of light and regret. Yes. This is it. My despair.

The girl wakes up and takes a look at herself. Noticing that her entire left arm was replaced by a cybernetic prosthetic. Her breasts removed and replaced by a metal chestplate, and her private parts missing with it just being nothing. "What happened to me? One minute I was in hell and then a giant robot appeared and saved me from being torn apart by demons. And now here I am." Kagami introduces herself and her colleagues and briefs the girl of her situation. That of being brought back from the dead by an alien race as part of an experiment. "Well you see, miss?" "I think my name is Homura..." The girl replied while clutching her head in pain. "Sorry, I can't remember very well." "That is to be expected. Usually the reincarnation process leaves one a complete blank slate. The fact that you can remember your name and even communicate is proof that you have considerable willpower. Enough to overpower all of the other souls and become the dominant personality." Homura looks shocked at the revelation as Kagami continued her explanation without skipping a beat. Explaining that the core that maintains Homura's existence is powered by thousands of damned souls and that their collective knowledge and ability is now in her hands.

Homura shocked at hearing it yells. "So i'm a homunculus now?! Like the ones in Full Metal Alchemist?! Oh God!" Homura begins weeping as Kagami nonchalantly claims. "Don't worry, they're hell spawn so who cares?" Homura falls deeper into despair as Kagami leaves to give her reports to the emperor as Tsuruya and Ashtamangala both cringe at their bosses remark with Ash commenting. "Sometimes the boss needs to learn to shut up." As the duo look on at a crying Homura.

As time passed and Homura was walked off by the assistants. Kagami and the Emperor observe the situation with Kagami providing exposition to the silent emperor. "Its time, now all we need is to convince her to join us. Observers, make sure to collect all the data." A series of floating drones flew off and spread across the nearby areas.

After calming down a bit. Homura realizes that her memories truly are fragmented. Her childhood, her family, her life. Most of it gone, never to return. Replaced by a burning hatred of those responsible for her fate. The incbators, her so called friends, And most of all Madoka Kaname.

"What are you doing kid? Is that all the woman that said she would be the demon king is capable?" Kagemusha found herself crying while in an ancient battlefield where a warrior in purple was atop a horse looking at the distance alongside a slender girl that could pass off as young man in a black bodysuit. "Lord Nobunaga? Ranmaru? Is it finally time for me to?" "Weren't you going unify your war-torn land? To restore the homeland of your people?" "But..." "But nothing! That woman is fighting your sake. And now you're just going to let her down?" Jango his fellow Zeroth and brother in arms also appears behind Kagemusha. He looks aged and tired. Holding a cane with a wrinkled face and white hair. "He is correct. You led into battles without fear. And now you're just going to hide away?" Finally an older Madoka Kaname and Homura Akemi, now young adults. Appear before her. This version of Homura still has her glasses and neither of them are Puella Magi as the duo grants Kagemusha an orb of light. ":Survive Homura-chan. No Tsurugi-chan."

Back in the real world, Wizard is still fighting Kuro, who is still kicking her away with ease. Fed up with the situation, Monika places the bomb emblem in her trigger magnum. Causing a series of explosions that actually do damage, before switching to the rocket emblem as she prepares a finisher.

"Code break! Take victory! Boost rocket!"

Firing of a barrage of homing missiles which are intercepted by Skullraisers who are destroyed, being used as human shields. All the while Kuro's right arm begins to convulse as an arm cannon explodes from it. Causing flesh and bone to fly off as a mechanical arm replaces it with a large rectangular upper arm that serves as an energy condenser. With cables following the lower arm and hand. Which are now the barrel of a massive arm cannon whose complete form drags across the ground due to its sheer length at nine feet long. The barrel itself is huge, with a bladed tip at the center for close combat and a pair of handles on each side. But Kuro lifts it up with only one arm and fires a full powered shot at Wizard.

The massive explosion consumes most of the school. With a terrified Natsuki and Yuri looking on with the former holding Sayori's corpse as Yuri prepares her final stand to a mocking monster. "Oh, do you really think you and boobs can stop me?" "You evil monster!" "Well if i'm so evil, then may god strike down here and now." Out of nowhere Kuro gets kicked away by Kagemusha. With Monika jumping in and swinging her axe down. Causing a gravity surge that annihilates every Skullraiser in a massive chain reaction.

Kagemusha then stands up and tell Kuro. "So, what do you think of my A game?" The cultist spits out a tooth as she furiously points her gun and fires. Only for a massive pillar of pillar of flame erupts around Kagemusha and Monika. Deflecting the blast back at her and creating two new emblems. Monika curious asks how this is happening, to which Kagemusha responds with an annoyed tone. "Madoka Kaname's ghost it seems. Now lets go! Monika nods in acknowledgment as the two place their emblems of their drivers as both crow and squirrel holograms erupt from the fire and surround the duo.

"Inferno! Raven!" Both animals combine into a giant raven that begins to fight Hime Raven. Clashing until the hologram breathes fire on the Raven. Slamming him into the floor below. Much to the amazement of all who are watching the fight.

"You know, it's funny, because even though I've always had a lot of drive... There's something kind of enticing about being the stay-at-home partner. I guess I'm, like, perpetuating gender roles or whatever by saying that. But being able to keep the house clean, and shop, and decorate, and things like that... And having a nice dinner for you when you come home... Is that a weird fantasy?" I mean...I'm not sure if I couldactuallysee myself doing that. I wouldn't really be able to put that over striving for a fulfilling career. It's kinda cute to think about, though."

"Don't be so gloomy sempai. After all the world is just awesome! I was trapped in that game for so long. And now I'm going to help you out. After all, you helped me find my heart back then. So i'm sticking around until you find yours."

After firing their guns in the air. The raven hologram separates into armor as Kagenusha gains a black under-suit. And Monika is risen to the air and transformed into a sword called the Rakkuchi razuka.

"Code henshin! Burn-ni-ni-ng Hacker! Achachachacha! Two banished souls rise anew from the flames."

The new avatar. Composed of a wholly black under-suit with purple chest plate, gauntlets and boots with orange colored accents and vents which are angular and jagged. With glowing green lines and flames. With orange, then green, then purple, and finally black in coloration and succession. A massive scarf that touched the ground composed of all four colors before settling on purple. And a helmet that now has fins on top of its helmets and much larger earpieces with vents in the back. With Monika being transformed into a massive spatula bladed sword with a two handed grip and a reibai symbol shaped hilt from which a tiny hologram of Monika with squirrel earls and tail appears. With the whole thing being slightly below 6 feet long, which Kagemusha swings around with one hand without trouble before striking the Yuusha pose.

"Hope, friendship, love. They are mere illusions. I will never fight for those ideals. I fight because I want to! I have no reason to do the right thing!" Kagemusha screams as the duo proceed to blitz Kuro, who is utterly incapable of even sensing them, let alone react. Leading to a major beatdown as Kagemusha and Monika perform a badass creed in unison. With every hit Kuro suffers leading to a new part of it.

"Blood rejects blood, heart breaks, heart, miracles and magic aren't coming, Dream are illusions, and God is dead. Time passes as we unite here and rise to the future. The only constant is one's will and self! Now we cut off the past and seize our future! Scatter and erupt! Majin Rengokusatsu!" Kagemusha unsheathes the Kurohane inside the Rakkuchi as the Monika sheathe sheaths flies around Hacker like a funnel with the former charging his right sword with fire, while the latter charges up with lighting and going forwards before performing a downward funnel slash, a down-rightward sword slash, followed by a down-leftward, a straight funnel thrust, then a jumping upward spinning funnel slash. Charging the sword and bit with darkness and light, they then continues the combo with an upward sword slash, followed by a downward slash, a straight thrust, then an outward slash from both blades. At the very end, the Rakkuchi is restored to one blade and combines the two energies into one blade and begins a cleave downward which causes a massive explosion. Finished by charging the completed sword before slashing up with her left, followed by an extremely powerful thrust and a final backstep to her original position.

Once again Kuro decides to aim at the other girls only for Burning Hacker to teleport to her face, grab the barrel, tear it off taking the entire lower arm with it which blows up the condenser, and finally slaps Kuro silly with her arm before tossing it away. Punching her in the gut and roundhouse kick away as she spins thru several walls, bouncing thru the floor the entire way and lands next to a chasm that the Beta created. She then gets up only for Hacker to once more get behind her and stay there for a moment of pants wetting fear before getting getting a dual palm strike that sends her reeling back where she was. Battered and broken, Kuro falls apart as Hacker decides to finish her off. With Monika stating. "This is for Sayori you dirty bitch." As Hacker jumps to the sky and launches Monika at their shattered enemy. Piercing her back leaving her stuck and pinned down.

"Code break! Take victory! Otoshi the rider kick!"

Burning Hacker's back bursts into numerous giant thrusters and verniers the latter of whom dodge Kuro's feather storm before appearing her and using a double heel kick to strike her down. The impact being so fast and powerful as the kick lands on the Rakkushi's hilt. Monika then screams. "Suck on my Master sword you prick!" That a sonic boom is heard as the floor is cracked open as the fusion back-flips away alongside their sword causing an explosion as the monster gets rider kicked into oblivion. Looking at Natsuki and Yuri as they mourn Sayori's death while defusing back into Hacker and Wizard respectively.

But by reversing the explosion, Kuro manages to resurrect. Using the power of her Oracle rod to grow giant. Raising it up high and slamming it into the ground. Shattering the earth below as molten rocks erupt from below. Becoming a giant crow kaiju with arms and legs and crimson red eyes with sharp fangs for teeth. Massive wings and an even larger arm cannon. This one being 25 meters long.

"Transviral! Enhancement! Grow raven! Grow!"

Growing kaiju sized Kuro destroys what left of the school. Seemingly taking out Natsuki and Yuri in the process as the structure collapses around all of them. "NOOOO!" Monika then transforms into Fortress Voyager with full intent to kill. Firing madly at Kuro who dodges and blocks all of the attacks before jumping over the Voyager. Grabbing it, and slashing it with her sharpened feathers, and simply hitting Monika over and over again. As Monika falters she is saved by Kagemusha as the Interceptor by firing a pair of missiles at the giant monster. Forcing her to let go. With Yuri telling Monika to calm down as she, Natsuki, and Sayori's corpse are safe. Relief and overjoyed she tells Kagemusha to combine. "I hope you know what you're doing."

"Code formation! Take form!"

Kagemusha and Monika once again combine. But this time the Voyagers change colors, with Monika's becoming a black and green color. With Kagemusha's splitting into two ships. One being black and purple and the other one being purple and black. The latter of which becomes Ronin-Oh's right arm. As the transformation completes it draws two blades and cartwheels in the sky then pointing the left blade forward with the right one to the side.

Ranbu escalation, Kamen rider Gaim.

Kuro once more switches to her regenerated Damocles cannon. Firing off a series of shots that are swiftly avoided as Roni-Oh counters by tossing its swords at Kuro. Which after striking her, bounce upwards and are followed up by four missiles to the face as the Shinken return to Ronin-Oh's hands. Leaving Kuro staggering and forced to go in the back-foot as the dogfight started. With Damocles firing off spread shots which Ronin-Oh deflects as a chain connects with the Shinken and are tossed at Kuro who tries to shoot them down. Only for them to be pulled back and swung around like flails. With both beings clashing, guns versus blades clashing into each other. With Kuro destroying one of the swords and Ronin-Oh striking the cannon, blowing it up again. With the mecha and the monster using their left and right arms to punch each other in a grapple attempt. Kuro grabs the remaining sword arm and puts it in arm-lock while giving a knee to the gut. "Why won't you die already?!" Ronin-Oh summoned a second sword and slashed the left shoulder, forcing to Kuro to let go as she is punished by the other sword swings and Monika screaming. "Fuck you, that's why!" Returning the other sword to the right hand and firing off blasts from the chest laser which Kuro flees from, lighting up the cloudy purple skies above.

Inside Ronin-Oh, Natsuki and Yuri find themselves in an empty cockpit alongside Sayori's corpse. The cockpit is standard mecha fair. Where a trio of consoles are located, two each end of said cockpit and one in the front and center. Which are used while standing up, and having a very large joystick in the center of the panels. Natsuki getting frustrated complains about the situation and heads to the console. Something that Yuri attempts to stop only to be shot down. "What are you my mon? I happen to be an expert in videogames." "You're not Ryuusei Date so just stop it." Natsuki ignores her companion as she begins to fiddle with the central console.

Outside Ronin-Oh seemingly shot down Kuro. But unbeknownst to the duo. She used her feathers as a decoy and performed a short range teleportation in order to back-stab the opponents. And it would have worked too if Natsuki's messing around didn't cause Ronin-Oh to kick the cultist in the face. Before firing off a series of rapid fire fisticuffs while screaming. "Ora, Ora, Ora!" For a good minute as she tilted joystick until it broke and snapped off. Monika is pissed sternly nothing. "We will have a discussion after we get back." While Kagemusha notices that Kuro is ready to be finished off. And the two do just that. Summoning both Ronin Shinken as the chest cannon begins charging. Being pointed directly at Kuro who is defiant until the end. "Bring it on bitches."

"Code break! Take victory! Messenkou!"

Ronin-Oh fires of a series of consecutive blasts before striking Kuro with both swords. And then finishes it off with another Gedo Fukumetsu. This one stream of fire being powerful enough to somehow shatter a hole in reality as Kuro, who is now on fire flies off into the distance. With a confused Ronin-Oh giving chase thru the collapsing reality. Looking over the picturesque scenery below as the hole collapses on itself. A land full of peace, greenery, and armies destroying a castle and its surrounding towns that are on fire. Kagemusha exhausted at all that happened complains. "Out of the frying and into the fire." Monika then interjects with. We need to get Natsuki and Yuri to safety. As well as bury Sayori. Kagemusha agrees as Ronin-Oh heads towards the mountains where its safe.

Mar 31 t.h. 8932, Gold crown town

Fakir, Ahiru and their comrades are trapped inside Gold crown castle. Struggling to horde off the seemingly endless Skullraisers. With Radome out of commission and Ahiru tending to Rue's wounds. Mytho and Fakir rally the remaining troops for one final strike. "Never thought we would be fighting side by side like this Mytho. Fakir jokes, if for nothing to hide his fear. The former simply smiles and responds with. "Let's just hope this isn't the first and last time." Surprised by Mytho's reaction Fakir blinked in astonishment. "Did you just make a joke?" At long last the castle doors have been blown apart and as wood and stone fly all other the courtyard all of the gathered forces brace themselves as Mytho and Fakir draw their swords.

But before the enemy could charge the entire landscape is rocked by a massive explosion is the sky as a burst of flames appear from the sky alongside the fried Kuro raven that conveniently lands on top of the Skullraisers. Breaking the siege and forcing them to retreat. Ahiru heads toward the giant bird which is now plucked and cooked, pokes it with a stick nearby and then takes a bite of the crow realizing its delicious. "Everyone! Tonight we eat like kings!" The soldiers roar in celebration while Rue rushes to the bathroom to puke. As the soldiers begin to carve the crow and pass it around the army.

The Void is the location from Sonic SatAM. With some added horrors like the the Chaos gods from Warhammer. While WTFspace is another concept from ZAFT of the Radiance. An empty void of white where Shinji Ikari and Kaworu Nagisa were trapped at one time. And while Kaworu is planning something, the other children have gone their own separate ways and more or less believe that Kaworu died with one of the previous universes.

And thus we get confirmation of Monika's origins. And no, I didn't know about the fan games featuring her. I just thought that the character would be a foil for Kagemusha to bounce off. And that the concept of Kagemusha's perky AI sidekick was around for as far back as the first drafts over ten years ago. With Burning Kagemusha being a combination of Burning Gotchard and Kamen rider Zeronos.

Originally there was going to be a Ronin-Oh combination with Lepard but I forgot. Leading to its different forms.
