Being confined is torturous for Sonic. He is meant to go. Go fast, go extremely fast to the sound of light. Now, he can barley move anywhere. He paces, like usual in his cell. There is nothing he can do. Time still crawls along. Ending up to another nowhere than he was once at. This is most of his life now. Only broken by the occasional meal and exercise. But that's it. He still can't run fast in those. He's too fast. He has too much energy. He can't go anywhere, he has to stay put. But Sonic feels like he can't. Too much to do and too much energy to not do anything. He hates this so much. He wants to run and be free. Yet he can't and that frustrates him. It frustrates him a lot. More and more every single second.

The slowness gets to his bones. They feel like they are withering away. He sits alone and nobody seems to want to come near. Even if there were someone here stuck with him, he would still feel claustrophobic. It's so hard, especially when he knows he could get out if he wanted too. He hates every single moment that passes him. Sonic knows that he'll be like this forever. For the rest of his life. All of it. Sitting alone in a jail cell. Doing nothing. It's driving him insane. He stays in a cell, which is seemingly his own personal hell. All he can do is pace around and around his cell. Free time is not much better. More places to walk around and pace at, if he can even do that with all the prison gangs around.

Sonic can feel the weight of it all on him. Every single second adds pressure to his ever dwindling life. He will spend so much time in prison. His whole life. Every single second left. He hates it. He hates it. He hates it. He can't go anywhere. All Sonic can do is pace. Around and around and around and around. All he can think about is time. One day passes that takes forever then another the another. After a while days passing gets to be monotonous itself. Leaving him stressed, the weeks become monotonous. The only reason why the days do blend in is because he meticulously tracks the days, because that's one of the things he can actually do. That becomes monotonous too. Even if he constantly reminds himself he still gets confused.

He hates this. A lot. He always has and he always will. He can't believe it. Sonic knows he is innocent. Why is he still here? Why is he still trapped? Why can't he get out? All these questions with no answers. All Sonic can do is sit. Alone in a room with bars on the wall and on the windows. He sits. Stares at the wall. He wants to get out. But he can't. He needs to get out. But he shouldn't. He needs to get out. But he shouldn't. He needs to get out. But he shouldn't. He needs to get out. But he shouldn't. He needs to get out. He needs to get out. He needs to get out. He needs to get out. He needs to get out. He needs to get out. He needs to get out. He needs to get out. He needs to get out. He needs to get out.

Sonic knows he needs to escape. He knows. He can't take it anymore. He hates how easy it will be too. He decides a date, then waits. The day comes, he goes fast outside and goes away. Escaping the prison quicker than he got in. It's honestly painful how easy it is. But he couldn't stay there forever. He guesses he is a fugitive now. He was already a criminal, so he guesses this is for the best. But at least he's free. Sonic runs around and around. It takes a while but eventually he gets it out of him. At the end of his run, the sun sets and he sits on a cliff. Watching it set. He smiles. A bright big smile. Then he goes to sleep. Ending his day on a happy note.

Amy gets a rude awakening when she hears that Sonic is out and on the prowl. One last time, she thinks. Then everything will be okay. It'll be fine. Immediately, as soon as she possibly can. She goes to Surge.

"He escaped." Amy tells her.

"I've heard, why are you smiling?" Surge says, suppressing a chuckle.

"Well, we are now able to kill him now. No consequences, call it an accident, if even." Amy says and smiles even wider, Surge follows suit and the two laugh.

"As we all know, Sonic is out. He has breached containment. What we need to do now is stop him. Which is why I called upon a few select people to help. Now, I know these two are not the most popular. But they are the best equipped to deal with Sonic."

The crowd stands still.

"Please Welcome, Surge The Tenrec and Kit the Fennec." The two mentioned walk onto the stage and wave to the crowd. All is silent at first but then after a few seconds the crowd bursts into cheers.

Amy smiles. Sonic won't even know what hit him. It will be the easiest thing so far. Then once that's done, everything will be done. There is no going back, Amy is happy. No possibility of going back. After all this time.

Tails watches this one in their room. It's not like the two want to kill him too. Tails still doesn't know what to think. But he'll find Sonic before they do. Tails knows they have to. Sonic will die if they don't. No matter the complex feelings, Sonic shouldn't die. Tails doesn't know if he's innocent or not. So make him go back to prison or he dies. Tails can do that.
