Erin's POV

God, my head is f**king killing me, I thought as I finally came to.

I didn't know where the hell I was but I do know I got kidnapped. I swore when I realized my hands and feet were bound. In fact, my hands were above me, putting me in a vulnerable position. Wherever I was, it was dark, but thanks to my fox sight, I could see.

I just hoped Zane got help, and knowing my mother, she knew something was wrong by now. And Seto, god, I hoped he knew what was going on too.

"So your awake Randall"

My attention immediately went to my left and leaning against the wall wearing her typical smirk was Kaya. She was out of her school uniform and she looked pleased with herself.

"Why did you bring me here?" I demanded.

"It's up to you if you want to be freed," Kaya continued.

It was just the two of us in this place but no doubt she had her bastard thugs close by.

"If you're going to tell me to dump my boyfriend, then you f**k right off," I spat, feeling my anger spiking.

"I had a feeling you would say that," Kaya stated before leaving her spot, and she was rummaging around for something.

It was then I caught the whiff of Wolfsbane.

"You seriously don't think I wouldn't figure it out that you're a Nine-Tailed Fox?" Kaya sneered as she approached with the Wolfsbane plant in her hand. "It's no wonder you are so devoted to Seto"

"You don't have the right to call him that" I snarled. "He is my mate and you can't have him now or ever"

"Then you're going to have to deal with the pain this plant does to you, then half-breed," Kaya told me before pressing the poisonous plant on my leg.

A scream escaped my lips and I would need to hold on long enough until I was found.

Kaiba's POV

Naomi, Zane, and I arrived at the warehouse district where Kaya and her family stored their pharmaceutical stuff. When we were dating, she brought me here to seduce me, which backfired.

"This is a lot of ground to cover" Zane growled. The police department promised to send backup, but time was of the essence, and if we didn't hurry, Erin could possibly be in even worse trouble. As I expected, a good bit of Kaya's cronies ambushed us, but immediately, Naomi summoned a sword, and Zane crackled his knuckles.

Then, together, both mother and son began to deal with Kaya's employees while one tried to throw a punch at me. I dodged his blow and clocked him hard in the gut making him go unconscious. Another one tried to attack but Naomi quickly knocked him out cold.

"What the?" I said as every single one of the thugs was either running or unconscious. I then turned to both Zane and Naomi in shock. How the hell did they manage to overpower the guys that attacked us that fast?

"Humans make lousy fighters if they're not trained to do it properly," Naomi explained. She put her sword over her shoulder and continued walking ahead. Another idiot tried to attack her, but she simply punched him in the gut, and he was soon on the ground.

"Okay, now I'm intimidated by your mother," I confessed to Zane, who chuckled before the two of us ran after Naomi.

Erin's POV

"Say it bitch!" Kaya screamed as she placed the Wolfsbane on my neck.

"Never!" I yelled before screaming again.

Wolfsbane couldn't kill Nine-Tailed Foxes, but their poison left very painful burns, and now my legs had multiple of them, as well as my arms. But despite the agony I was enduring fighting to keep Seto was what kept me going.

With a snarl, Kaya used a knife to cut the rope that bound me from above, and I fell to the floor. She then cut my legs free but not my wrists.

"Ms. Hongo!"

One of Kaya's goons came into the room.

"We need to go. Seto Kaiba is here, and he isn't alone!"

"I don't care!" Kaya roared. "I'm not leaving!"

"Ma'am every single person assigned to keep intruders out have either fled or were rendered unconscious"

Kaya growled before placing her hands across my throat. But I fought back and bit her hard in the hand with my fangs. She shrieked and her bodyguard or whatever the hell he was rushed to her side.

"I'm fine damn it!" Kaya spat.

She looked at me for a few minutes with intense hatred before getting on top of me again and her hands were around my throat even tighter now. The door suddenly was kicked open and it was then I saw Seto.

Seto's POV

My eyes widened when I saw Erin's condition. Kaya was on top of her and rage I never felt before surged through me. Kaya's bodyguard charged his way at me but Naomi came to my aide and rendered him unconscious. Using her fox speed she grabbed Kaya off of Erin and threw her to the ground.

Erin's POV

"Erin!" Seto shouted and my Zaldrizes was rushing towards me. The pink blazer of my uniform was all ruined and there were some holes in the shirt.

Seto's POV

I kneeled beside the woman I loved and soon had her in my arms.

"Hey, my Zaldrizes," Erin greeted me. "You really came for me"

"Holy shit!" Zane shouted seeing his sister's bad state.

"Of course, I would come for you," I said to her.

Erin gave me a smile before falling unconscious. She needed a hospital and fast. I carefully scooped my Kitsune into my arms and began to walk away when Kaya suddenly yelled.

"She isn't worthy of you Seto!"

I stopped and told my ex icily.

"You don't have the right to call me that, and Erin is more worthy of me than you"

I then looked back at Kaya with deep anger.

"She's a half-breed"

"Shut your mouth!" I yelled. "It doesn't matter whether if she's human, Nine-Tailed Fox, or something else, she's the one I chose and I would never choose you over her"
I then began to walk out of the warehouse with my unconscious girlfriend in my arms.

Naomi's POV

"So what are we going to do about her?" my son inquired as the human wailed.

"Erase her memory and then turn her over to the police" was my reply.

I then called to my inner fox and felt my eyes glow. Using my power I erased this human's memories of what she put my daughter through. She would never be a threat to my child ever again.

Erin's POV

I knew I was in the hospital when I began to wake up. Beside me was Seto and he was asleep. He was wearing his Battle City outfit and having him here was a godsend. His hand was clutching mine and he looked exhausted.

The burns on my arms were patched up with gauze as it was the same for my legs and the spot on my neck where the Wolfsbane touched it. Seto suddenly groaned and he opened his eyes.

"Erin!"

My Zaldrizes then hugged me close and his body shook. In fact, I felt a tear or two fall onto my face. I didn't say anything and let the President of Kaiba Corp hold me in his arms. Eventually, he pulled away and kissed my hand.

"How long have I been here?" I asked.

"For a couple of days, whatever Kaya used to burn you must have been bad"

"It was Wolfsbane, somehow she knew I had Nine-Tailed Fox blood and that plant while non-lethal to my kind, the burns from them are very painful, thankfully I heal fast"

"Kaya was arrested and her memory was erased by your mother, and I saw her in her fighting glory, she's definitely a woman I don't want to anger"

When it came to her mate or children my mother wasn't someone to f**k around with.

Seto then asked if he could kiss me and I gladly complied. Since we were in the hospital, the kiss was brief, but hey, I didn't care.

"Let's not keep your family and Mokuba waiting, I promised to let them know when you woke up"

"Sounds good to me my Zaldrizes"

But before I let him go get the others I gave him another kiss. And the mighty CEO of Kaiba Corp was now blushing.

"Your blushing, you know," I teased before resuming. "But if I were in the same situation I would do it all over again, because damn it Seto Kaiba I love you"
Seto's blush faded and it was replaced with that beautiful smile of his.

"And I love you Kitsune, I may not say it much but you know I do"

He then kissed my forehead before leaving to get my family and Mokuba.
