"I have an idea! how about we play truth or dare?" Dogday suggested. he and the other critters were having a sleepover in Bobbys house. Dogday and Bobby sat on the couch, each having a blanket draped over their laps. Bubba, Crafty and Picky sat on their sleeping bags to the left of the couch while Kickin', Catnap and Hoppy sat on their sleeping bags to the right of the couch.
"I'll go first!" Bobby volunteered.
"Hoppy! truth or dare?" she declared.
"dare!" Hoppy replied.
"I dare you to do two backflips in a row" Bobby smirked.
"oh boy. I will admit, that is kind of hard" Hoppy admitted as she stood up.
she moved to the middle of the circle before doing one backflip, only to trip and fall on her butt on the second.
"double backflips are easy" Crafty commented, standing up as Hoppy laughed off her failure.
she then backflipped on her sleeping bag, only for her horn to catch on the fabric as she turned upside down and her to fall on her face.
"you okay?" Bubba quickly asked.
"I'm fine" Crafty replied as she unhooked her horn from the fabric and sat up.
"okay maybe we should stop with that dare. Hoppy, its your turn" Dogday spoke, pointing at the rabbit critter as she stood up.
"Kickin'! truth or dare?" Hoppy said, pointing at Kickin'.
"truth!" Kickin' squeaked.
"how many siblings do you have?" Hoppy asked, only for Kickin' to freeze in place.
a teenage chicken critter stuffed a bag of chips into a black bag while kneeling down in a large orphanage kitchen.
he was a light yellow chicken critter with an orange beak and hair-like clumps of feathers on top of his head, which was hidden by a black newsboy cap. along with the hat, he wore a dark-ish yellow collared buttoned jacket slightly oversized and black leg warmers.
"Benny?" a voice from the entrance asked.
the teenages head snapped in the direction of the doorway, where a chick Kickin' was standing there confused.
the hair-like clumps of feathers on his head were flopped down in front of his left eye and he had a worried and confused expression. he wore light blue pajamas with a light yellow egg pattern.
"what are you doing?" Kickin' asked.
the teenager sighed as he stood up and walked over, taking off his jacket as he did so.
"ow! one! I have one sibling!" Kickin' yelled when Catnap hit him in the arm.
"you okay? you zoned out for almost a minute" Dogday queried.
"yeah I'm fine. just a memory I don't like popping into my head" Kickin' replied, adjusting his jacket to hug closer to his chest.
"well its your turn now" Picky spoke.
"Bubba! truth or dare?" Kickin' immediately asked, returning to his cool persona.
"truth!" Bubba replied after a second.
"who's your crush?" Kickin' asked.
Bubba stuttered for a few moments as he continuously looked back and forth between Craftys confused face and Kickin's michievious smirk.
"no comment" he finally said.
"Bubba! you have to tell the truth! it's the rules!" Picky teased, grabbing him by the shoulders and shaking him lightly as she spoke before putting her hooves to her sides.
"yeah!" Crafty agreed, shaking him wildly with incredible ease.
"stop! geez! I'm going to the bathroom" Bubba cried, struggling to stop her.
"sorry" Crafty squeaked, stopping as he stood up and went into the bathroom.
"what should we do while he's gone? he still needs to answer the question" Dogday spoke before Kickin' hit him on the head with a pillow.
"pillow fight!" Kickin' screamed, to which Dogday grabbed his own pillow and whacked Kickin' in the face.
"I'm gonna get 'cha!" a chick parrot critter called as she ran through fields of tall grass.
she was a light green with her wings feathers turning bright red and then bright blue. she wore a white flower print off-shoulder crop top.
"no you won't!" a calf Bubba laughed in response, a few feet ahead.
he wore a loose orange shirt and he didn't have his tattoo or scar.
he stopped when he ran right into an adult elephant critter, landing on his butt.
she was a pale blue with her hooves, the inside of her ears and the end of her tail dark-ish blue with a black stalactite tattoo on her cheeks.
"there you are! I've been searching for you for the past ten minutes! and what are you doing with this girl? you know shes, one of them" the adult critter spoke, scowling at the parrot critter, who stopped in her tracks.
"come on, we're late for prayers" the adult critter said as she helped Bubba up.
she then led him away as he looked back at the parrot critter.
"bye Ruby" he said sadly as the parrot critter waved goodbye.
"ow! how the heck are you so strong!?" Bubba's thoughts were interrupted by Dogdays yelling.
"sorry!" Crafty apologized.
Bubba sighed as he turned away from the mirror.
he then exited the bathroom, seeing the others in an intense pillow fight.
"Bubba watch out!" Dogday cried, too late as Bubba was hit in the head with a pillow.
"oh your gonna get it now!" Bubba laughed, pointing to Catnap, the thrower of the pillow as he picked it up.
"ha!" Catnap laughed as he picked up another pillow.
"why is being trans bad?" a preteen Bubba asked the adult elephant critter.
he had the beginning of a tattoo right below his right eye and was wearing an off-shoulder orange shirt.
"its against God's will!" the adult elephant critter demanded.
"no it isn't! there's no evidence for God existing anyway!" Bubba complained.
"how dare you! both you and Bethany are sinful brats!" the adult critter growled.
"thats it! if you won't respect my little brother then we're leaving!" Bubba declared before running down the hallway and slamming the second to last door behind him.
"Bruce, pack up. we're going to aunt Beatrice's place" Bubba spoke to the critter inside.
