Chapter 515 Arena Alliances

In Hotland, Mirage, Spinner, and Demonica were passing by the Colosseum of Fools, they had set out to get revenge for their sisters, but Spirit had sent them some new orders for another plan. Mirage was ok with following Spirit's plan since she believed Spirits's plans and schemes would eventually free their mother the Shadow Queen and lead to complete victory. Spinner and Demonica were less thrilled about being taken away from their quest for revenge. They knew that the people responsible for their defeats and deaths of their sisters were most likely in the Colosseum of Fools, along with one of the Crystal Stars they needed to free the Shadow Queen.
"I say we summon our army and forces and launch a full scale attack on the Colosseum of Fools and kill everyone inside!" Said Demonica.
"Yeah!" Agreed Spinner.
"I understand how you feel sisters, but there are simply way too many enemies in there for us to deal with. Even if we brought all our forces there would be no guarantee we would win and even if we did win, we would very like take heavy losses in the process." Said Mirage.
"But what about the Crystal Star?" Asked Spinner.
"Jota and Mr. Dark are in charge of getting it. Now come along, we have other businesses to attend to." Said Mirage.
"Can't we go and launch a attack against the Doctor's lair? I think a couple of his warriors are fighting in the tournaments and he suffered some big losses in the last attack we launched against him." Said Demonica.
"That may be true, but he still has plenty of fighters left and besides, Spirit says she already has a plan in motion to deal with them." Said Mirage.
Spinner and Demonica muttered under their breath as Mirage lead them away from the Colosseum of Fools.
"This mission we're going on is boring and really doesn't need any of us to oversee it." Said Spinner.
"Yeah, it already has a few specialist overseeing it to make sure it's a success." Added Demonica.
"I think Spirit is merely trying to keep us safe and out of any serious danger. After all, nearly half our siblings have been killed and we have lost some powerful allies recently. The other factions are becoming bolder and we have other parties to worry about. Once all the Crystal Stars are in our possession we can really take the fight to them and avenge our fallen sisters." Said Mirage.
This seemed to cheer the sisters up a bit and they stopped complaining as they moved on with their mission.
Elsewhere at the dig site for the Nuclear Throne, Blockner and his crew along with Pollution, General Rabbit, Plague Knight, Mole Knight, and Tinker Knight were making steady progress on breaking the throne out of it's prison, when Drill Knight along with the Hexcavators and Elemental Masks.
"Well. Well. This is a pleasant surprise. A few of my old members down here in the Underground digging for treasure." Said Drill Knight looking at Mole Knight and Tinker Knight.
"Drill Knight!" Said Mole Knight and Tinker Knight.
"You know this chap?" Asked General Rabbit.
"We do." Said Mole Knight.
"Long before we met Sir Slicer and joined the Order of No Quarter, we were members of Drill Knight's crew the Hexcavators." Said Tinker Knight.
"We did many jobs together, until a job in Mountain Kingdom nearly got us crushed to death, so we quit." Said Mole Knight.
"We haven't seen Drill Knight and the Hexcavators in years." Said Tinker Knight.
"Yeah those were the good old days. Now I'm on the rise to power by collecting these lovely Elemental Masks." Said Drill Knight indicating the masks he had.
"Let me guess the only one you're missing is fire." Said Blockner.
"Indeed Blockner." Said Drill Knight.
"You two know each other?" Asked Plague Knight.
"Our paths have crossed a few times." Said Blockner.
"So I see you finally found yourself a ancient weapon of power. I assume that's what you're digging up." Said Drill Knight.
"It is." Said Blockner.
"Well I wish you luck with that. Now I must get back to hunting that mask down." Said Drill Knight.
"My man Flame Face has it and he's in the Colosseum of Fools." Said Blockner.
"I see, well I promise not to kill him or hurt him too badly, really depends on him." Said Drill Knight before he began to walk off followed by the Hexcavators.
"Should we call Flame Face and warn him?" Asked Meduzi.
"Wouldn't do much good. Flame Face is incredibly stubborn and wouldn't part with that mask willingly. His fate isn't our concern. Right now we need to get the throne out before Drill Knight comes back and try's to take it for himself." Said Blockner.
"Why didn't he try and do that when he was just here?" Asked Plague Knight.
"Because he wants all the masks first to have a complete set before coming after the throne. Drill Knight is a perfectionist and desires a full collection of any set of treasure before going after the next one." Said Tinker Knight.
"And I plan to have the throne before he comes back. Then will see who's stronger." Said Blockner.
The crew went back to work trying to free the NuclearThrone.
Back at the Colosseum of Fools it was announced that the Sibling Showdown would begin the next day giving the fighters a chance to mingle and strategize and for the fans to place bets. Brain Wiz thought it was a good opportunity to go see Ballos's prison and see what he and his fellow wizards would have to deal with. He asked Starlo and the Feisty Four to help guide him and the two Wizard Cops to where Ballos's prison was using the map he got from Jenka. The little group grabbed some supplies and headed out. After walking for about a couple of hours they came across a large rock that resembled a small mountain. The group circled the rock and found a staircase carved into one side leading to a hole that went deep into the rock.
"Let's see what we're dealing with." Said Brain Wiz as he lead the way up the stairs.
The group entered the rock and found themselves in a hallway lite with torches. On one side of the chamber there were four statues. Three were monsters and one was human. The monsters were a cat, a reptile, and a ape. All the statues wore the exact same crown.
"Who are they?" Asked Brain Wiz.
"These are the past and present owners of the Demon Crown. The monsters are named Halda, Annachponae, and Miakido and the human is the one we call the Doctor." Said Starlo.
"Interesting." Said Brain Wiz.
The group moved on and soon came to a much larger chamber with a large circle of magic runes scattered around the floor and a nearly invisible barrier spell surrounding one area of the chamber. In the circle were twelve statues of Spirit and her siblings. The statues of Siren, Jelly-Chan, cyan, Cinder, and Fay Soff all had red Xs on their eyes most likely to represent they were dead. In the center of the statues was a stone throne and sitting in the throne was Ballos himself .
Ballos was a stout humanoid, with tan skin skin, a bald head, a flat, wide nose, and a wide mouth. He wore a white and green cloak with two red eyes vertically set on the front, resembling the eye on the Demon Crown. Ballos looked up at the newcomers revealing his right eye was blood red, while his left eye was just a empty socket.
"Welcome. I am Ballos the wizard. Long ago I was greatly respected and I tried to use my great power to help monster kind. I moved us from a dimension where we were hated and persecuted by humans and locked away in this mountain to this dimension, but somehow the barrier remained. Then I sought help from beings from other dimension. The first was a being of light, but she proved too destructive and untrustworthy, so I turned to a being of darkness who helped me seal the being of light away. I fell in love with the being of darkness and our magic created twelve daughters. I was very happy back then, but then the being of darkness tried to conquer everything, so I had to lock her away as well. My daughters hated me for this. It all became too much and I went mad. My own sister had to knock me out and seal me up here. Now I wait and wait as the world goes on without me. My powers going wild and my mind going more mad. I pray and wait for someone to come and end me. Be warned I won't got down easily." Said Ballos looking at his visitors as his face slowly broke out in a mad grin.
Ballos unnerved Brain Wiz and the others.
"I'm...sorry we're not here to kill you. Just to observe you, but we will return with others to put a end to you." Said Brain Wiz.
"Please hurry. My power grows and this prison will eventually not be able to contain me." Said Ballos as he stopped grinning and sat back on his throne.
"We will." Said Brain Wiz as he and the others walked away.
"So...you couldn't have taken him?" Asked one of the Wizard Cops.
"No. I am strong, but from what I sensed from Ballos he is much stronger. Probably on par with some of the strongest wizard on the Wizard Council. A fight with him would have resulted in my death as well as the barrier holding him breaking. We need Rock Wizard as well as Hunter Wizard and Huntress Wizard if we want to kill Ballos." Said Brain Wiz.
The group left the rock and headed back to the Colosseum of Fools.
Back at the Colosseum of Fools, Crow was wearing a disguise that made him look like a purple lizard monster as he followed Phoebe from afar. According to Crow's magical energy detector the four princesses with high levels of magic were all in the Colosseum of Fools, which would make capturing them and using them to power his doomsday weapon much easier and then he would show Mack what a serious threat he was.
Phoebe headed to one of the snack bars where Flame Face just happened to be with Py-Ro. The two Fire People blinked in surprise at each other and then Flame Face spoke.
"You're the girl Spirit put a bounty on for killing Cinder!" Said Flame Face.
"Yeah I am." Said Phoebe.
"This is great! I get to collect a huge bounty and I get to strike a blow to the Royal Family of the Fire Kingdom, after the disgrace you caused." Said Flame Face.
"Disgrace?" Asked Phoebe getting angry.
"Yeah disgrace! You lead that murderer right to the Sleeping Fire Giants and she destroyed all but one! Then instead of just killing her on the spot, your family just lets her go to have a trail. That made the Fire Kingdom look weak and it's all your fault! You weakling!" Said Flame Face.
"I'm not weak! And I didn't bring disgrace to the Fire Kingdom!" Yelled Phoebe.
"Bring it on royal!" Yelled Flame Face.
The two were about to fight, when Taranza and several guards arrived on the scene.
"No fighting! Either take it outside or do it in the ring!" Said Taranza.
"Will settle this after that Sibling Showdown. I want a huge crowd of people to see how weak you are." Said Flame Face.
"Fine. But it'll be you who well be shown as weak." Said Phoebe.
The two Fire People stormed off in separate directions.
This made Crow happy since it would make Phoebe much easier to capture after using energy in a fight.
Drill Knight who happened to be in the crowd and witnessed the whole thing, thought the same thing about Flame Face and Py-Ro. He would just wait for the fight to be over before claiming his prize.
Elsewhere the various teams of fighters were making alliances and strategies. Sly had approached his students Oro and Mato along with Sheo and they explained Gata's situation and why she wanted to win and the brothers agreed to help her and Jake. So now Gata and Jake had help from Sans, Papyrus, Oro, and Mato for the tournament.
Gata and Jake approached Samantha and Nyx and asked why to the two of them were entering the tournament.
"Long story short two of the fighters are real jerks to a friend of ours and we entered the tournament to get back at them and make sure they don't get a wish." Said Samantha.
"Who are the jerks?" Asked Jake.
"Elise Wild and Elise Dominant." Said Nyx.
"We just want to beat those two and get them out of the tournament. We have no interest in wishes, so you don't have to worry about us." Said Samantha.
"Cool. Will do everything we can to help you out." Said Gata.
"Thanks." Said Nyx.
The Shadow Sirens, Beldam and Marilyn had formed an alliance with the Broodals promising to pay the mercenaries/entertainers if they helped them beat the Legion of Light fighters as well as Gata and Jake. Beldam also promised the Broodals more money and a place in the new world of the Shadow Queen if they helped the Shadow Sirens win the tournament, which the Broodals agreed to.
Juno and Suman managed to form a alliance with the Leiana Sisters and got them to agree to help go after the Mantis Lords and Zohar Sandalphon and Zohar Metatron. The wizard twins beloved if they could just beat those teams the Legion of Light would secure an alliance with Hoaxe and the Mantis Lords. They also planned to make sure the Shadow Sirens didn't win.
The Trigger Twins formed an alliance with Endol and Baruda to increase their chances of winning and to prevent Shadow Sirens from winning.
With alliances and plans made the teams were provided with rooms to rest in as they waited for the next day and the Sibling Showdown to begin.
