Chapter 9: Dog Murder Case

The next day

At Mother's House

6:15 AM

Kamada chatted with Vector. "Vector, you will be joining the middle school to infiltrate the enemy's whereabouts, but don't attack or anything. Find out any information regarding them. Also, I recommend that you change your name while at school." Vector smirked. Why don't you let me worry about what name I chose? I'll take care of the rest."

Yukiteru's POV

"I'm starting school again today. I've been waiting for this day. Also, it's a new school." Kurusu's image came to his head. "Kurusu told me that Misaka, Touma, Accelerator, Saten, Uiharu, and Motoharu would be joining me. Though, it seems I will be in the same class as Touma, Misaka, and Motoharu while Saten, Uiharu, and Accelerator will be in a different class." He looked at a large sheet of paper pinned to his wall. "I have friends, but, I hope to make more friends too. Plus, Yuno is a different class at the time." A concerning look was on his face. "However, she's in the same class as Saten, Uiharu, and Accelerator, I hope they'll get along."

A short time later he was walking down the street gathering more thoughts. "Reisuke was killed by an unknown enemy. From what Misaka told me, the enemy was so powerful. That means only three Diary Users have died leaving seven holders. As for my mom, she's safe and sound. Kurusu was able to cover what happened and inform that Reisuke was taken away to a happy family." He looked at the sky. "I just wonder when the next holder will strike."

"Yuki..." A familiar voice was heard behind alarming him as he glanced to see his stalker.

The two walked down the street together. "I admit your new outfit rocks."

"Thanks, anyway, you probably heard that Touma and some of his friends are joining us at the school." Yukiteru reminded.

Yuno looked a little displeased but just gave a smile. "It's no problem...at least for now." Yukiteru didn't hear her words but he knew somehow she was a little unhappy. "By the way, I should mention we need to be careful at this new school when we use our Diaries. What happened with 3rd was because it was revealed, right?" Yukiteru nodded. "That's right, well, I don't need to use it at school." He halted as he turned his head seeing Akise Aru watching him from the other side of the street, who was just smiling at him.

"Well, no matter, even if we're not in the same class, I'll always protect you, darling," Yuno turned to see Yukiteru was spacing out. "What is it, my love?"

Yukiteru looked back at his stalker before looking back at the white-haired teenager only to find out he was gone. "Uh...weird, where'd he go?"

"Well, never mind, we'll be late for class," Yuno took hold of Yukiteru's hand. "After school, we can walk home together."

Unusato Middle School

8:26 Am Class 2-C

Yukiteru was sneaking behind the students in a top-toe matter. "Man, I'm here and have cold feet still..." He then saw Touma, Misaka, and Motoharu walking in the class but before he could get a word out to them he heard a faint chuckle from in front of him. "Hehehehe... tip-toeing inside the class."

There was Kosaka Ouji with a cocky smirk on his face turning around in his seat. "I didn't think you return after the incident with that bomb terrorist." The other students exchanged glances at Yukiteru.

"Lay off..." Touma approached the teenage boy. "Don't forget that you sold out my friend."

Kosaka turned and realization hit him. "Oh, it's you, Touma Kamijou, the little sneak who kissed the terrorist lady." Then female students began to whisper upon hearing that detail.

"Wait, he's right, that's the guy that kissed the terrorist lady."

"Yeah, quite bold for someone of his stature to kiss an older woman."

"Bold, no, it's perverted...men are such pigs."

Touma felt utterly embarrassed and was about to defend himself until two male students approached. "Wait, you're the guy that kissed the terrorist lady...man you are a God!"

"Holy crap, I would like to congratulate you by shaking your hand!"

Bonk Bonk Bonk

The two male students along with Kosaka were whacked on their heads which surprised Yukiteru causing him to fall on his butt. "You guys talk too much!" There was a teenage girl with ginger-brown hair.

Hinata Hino

Age: 14

"Not surprising, Hinata has always gotten involved in other people's business." There stood another girl who had long light purple hair and aqua blue eyes. She wore a sailor dress-range top white underskirt a long brownish-red skirt and a pale pink beret. Motoharu smiled at the girl. "Well, she's got style."

Mao noticed Misaka and smiled playfully at her. "Well, such a cutie you are." The Railgun felt awkward at the comment that was thrown at her. "Why does she remind me of Kuroko?"

Hinata put her hands on her hips looking at her friend. "Knock it off Mao, you'll creep her out." She scolded before she looked back at Touma with a friendly smile on her face. "I admit that you were quite impressive, standing up to a terrorist like that. You have courage that I haven't seen before and throwing a punch to Minene was astounding."

Motoharu looked at the scene before him with envy. "Crap, Kamijou is getting the attention of a cute ginger-brown-haired girl like her. No fair!"

"Nice to meet you, Touma Kamijou." Hinata's smile became cute that Touma's face flushed as he looked down at her chest leaving him speechless. Quickly he snapped out of his thoughts and offered to shake the girl's hand using his left hand but he didn't realize it was so close to the girl that before he knew it his hand came in contact with some squishy.

Misaka was stunned by what she was seeing next.

Yukiteru's jaw dropped.

Touma was speechless as he saw his hand accidentally grab Hinata's right breast. Hinata's face became red as a bashful look was placed on her face. Yukiteru gave an awkward yet innocent smile. Mao didn't say a thing but took out her camera taking a few shots, despite the smile she had on, she was jealous.

"Hands off you pervert!" She delivered a whack on Touma's head comically knocking him to the floor.

Recovering from the awkwardness, she then approached Yukiteru leaving Touma behind her. "Anyway, let me help you up, Amano." Yukiteru began to stand up and reach out with his hand only to lose his balance and grab hold of Hinata's pants pulling them down to her knees and revealing her panties.

Just when things got more awkward than they were, Motoharu was intrigued by the chosen panties that Hinata had on. "Well, quite the choice of underwear." He thought with a perverted grin. Mao took more shots with her camera.

Touma began to get up as his face was suddenly right in front of Hinata's butt. "Uh..."

"Don't stare at me, you idiots!" This time Hinata comically whacked them both at the same time by taking a swing with her newspaper.

"I advise you all to take your seats because homeroom has begun now." The teacher started noticing the racket and took a chalk then began to write something on the chalkboard. "Now, this is important so pay attention."

Hinata was sitting between Yukiteru and Touma. "Listen you two, so I hit you both." She apologized feeling a little bad for her reaction.

Touma was a little surprised but smiled. "Yeah, I didn't mean to grope you, sorry."

Yukiteru smiled too. "Yeah, it's alright, I should've stood up properly."

"Anyway, did you hear about the news?" Kosaka asked in a whispering tone.

"Sure did, the victims were torn apart including their faces like they were bitten by a werewolf." Hinata theorized.

Touma chuckled nervously. "That's a joke, right?"

Despite the skeptical question, Hinata continued. "Not only that, their bodies couldn't be identified either."

Motoharu put his hand to his chin. "Hey, according to what I learned they were going on the past days."

Misaka was having different thoughts. "I wonder if it's the same person that killed Natsuko and her men. No...the bodies were torn apart differently and the bite marks on them were different. Natsuko...she could be alive, though, the chances of that are slim. One thing the last officer said still bugs me, is possible that goblins that attacked him and others are somehow connected to the stasis pods that were in that island domain."

Yukiteru had a thought to share. "If there are tooth marks wouldn't you know who the culprit is?"

Hinata crossed her arms while looking up. "Hmm, that's true..."

"The police control the confidential information regarding this case," Mao informed. "But, Akise Aru might know something else..." She pointed at the other side of the classroom. "There you can see the seat is empty but Akise went out to check on something skipping class."

Touma had one thing to say. "Hinata, we have other friends that go to this school, perhaps, later we can find them and go out for a stroll in the city."

Hinata looked at him for a minute and smiled. "Sounds like fun and I know the place to stroll as you say."

Science Class

Viv

Scientist Teacher

Vivian's hair was cut and wearing glasses that were fake disguising her appearance. "To think the students here are a bunch of shit heads." She was getting some looks from male students.

She then looked at her left hand with a ring. "Thanks to this ring will hide my magic power in case those Academy City scumbags manage to find me."

Yuno was in her classroom with Saten, Uiharu, and Accelerator.

The four were having their lunch break. Yuno was eating her own food. Uiharu and Saten sat by the stalker girl. "Yuno, do you mind if we join you?"

"Yeah, and we're not taking no for an answer," Saten said with a smile despite it showing a hint of seriousness.

Yuno sighed. "Sure thing."

Accelerator was chowing on his own food and noticed some students staring at him. "What are you looking at?" The students flinched and fled away.

"C'mon, Accelerator, join us," Saten motioned her hand. "Please..."

The white-haired teenage Esper groaned in annoyance and got out of his seat to sit next to them. "Accelerator, do you ever smile?" Uiharu asked a little annoyed.

From the door entrance was Vector peeking at them. "So, that's 2nd." He looked at Accelerator and a faint smirk took shape on his face. "Those eyes...are that of a rabid dog...not bad, he might be a worthy opponent."

Later in the afternoon, Yuno was at the front gate with Uiharu, Saten, and Accelerator.

Uiharu looked at her watch. "Guys, I have to get going to the police station, they need me on a special case so I'll see you later." Aiho arrived in her car picked up Uiharu and left leaving Saten and Accelerator with Yuno.

Yuno giggled as she saw Yukiteru coming out of the school building, but, he wasn't alone. Touma and the others were with her crush including some new faces. "Yuki..."

The gang walked down the street behind a hedge. Mao was peeking at a patrol officer. "Looks like the only officer is there." She whispered to the others.

"Is this a crime scene?" Misaka asked.

"Sure is, it's dangerous to be here," Yuno confirmed.

For once, Touma agreed. "Yeah, we shouldn't be here, that if the police catch us, then we'll be in hot water for sure."

Kosaka smirked. "Oh, where is that macho stuff you demonstrated back when you fought against that terrorist chick?" A low grunt was heard from Touma.

Accelerator chuckled in a mockery way. "Like you're one to talk, when that terrorist witch attacked, you were practically in tears." Kosaka gave the white-haired Esper an annoyed look. "You think you're hot stuff albino prick."

"Alright you two knock it off," Yukiteru said getting between the two teenagers.

"Anyway, we can get through here," Hinata said moving through a soft area in the hedge.

They soon made it through and came to the crime scene where body outlines were placed and there were still some blood stains on the ground too.

"Geez, this is so intriguing," Kosaka commented observing the crime scene but mostly the blood stains.

"That's not the word I'd use," Touma said with a sweat drop.

Misaka crotched down feeling sick to her stomach a little. "Damn it, who could've done this?"

Motoharu was having thoughts about what he discussed with Kurusu early in the morning.

Motoharu was on his cell phone with Kurusu in his room while Kamijou was asleep. "So, you figured out who the killer was huh?"

"Yeah, I'm sure that 10th will be on the move to hunt Yukiteru and Yuno down. From what my Diary told me, he's a psychopath and owes a lot of dogs in the kennel." Kurusu explained. "On top of that, he has a daughter so I advise you and the others to keep a close eye out."

"Sure thing...anything else?" Motoharu asked.

"Yeah, Akise will be joining you guys later on the mission," Kurusu replied. "As for 10th's identity...he's-"

Motoharu was looking directly at Hinata without her realizing it.

Yuno stayed a little far next to a tree alone. Touma approached her. "Yuno..." The stalker saw the other teenage boy approaching her. "Come on, this only happens in a lifetime, so, join us." Yuno looked at him with a hesitant look until she saw the boy offer his hand. "C'mon, try to enjoy life for a while before the next Diary User makes their move."

Yuno just stared at Touma's hand for a second until something inside her was making her move her hand out.

"Hey, love birds come on!" Hinata called out.

Touma and Yuno moved away blushing red.

Misaka glared at the two, mostly at Touma. "That idiot..." Saten grinned teasingly. "Aw, are you jealous?" The railgun girl was too ticked off to respond.

Accelerator scoffed. "Hero boy still has it."

Yukiteru didn't react but for some reason, he felt something inside tighten around his chest.

Motoharu saw the whole thing and curled his lips. "Damn it Kamijou, he's adding the stalker to his harem."

They explored the park a little more for a few minutes before they came to the highest part of the park where they got a view of the whole city. Hinata and Yukiteru were the first ones there.

"How is it, do you feel better now?" Hinata asked.

Yukiteru smiled. "Yeah, honestly, I never had much fun like this in a while."

Hinata was surprised. "I see, though, do you hang out with those other friends of yours?"

Yukiteru smiled. "I met them two months ago, but, we did start as friends. Sure, some of them are unique but fun at the same time."

Hinata giggled. "Yeah, I heard of Kamijou's heroic efforts, he's quite brave and handsome too." Yukiteru felt somewhat jealous but he didn't show it. "Anyway, what made you want to break the ice with me?"

Hinata looked away for a second before looking back at the timid teenage boy. "You seem like...someone I wanted to know." Hearing that reply made Yukiteru feel happy.

Yuno was running ahead and saw Yukiteru talking with Hinata. She clenched her fist looking slightly peeved. "My love..." She felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to see it was Touma. "Relax, we're all friends here, so enjoy the time please." Yuno reluctantly did so, though, it was a surprise to her that she did it for Touma.

"Guys, I'm going ahead!" Hinata ran off down a dirt path.

"Hinata, she's always has a knack for helping people that seem lost in their world." Mao approached Yukiteru. "By the way, I'm Mao a good friend of Hinata."

Saten approached Mao. "I'm Saten Ruiko," she said with a smile.

Misaka had a slight smile. "I'm Mikoto Misaka, but, you guys can call me Misaka."

Kosaka smirked. "I'm Kosaka and..."

"Yeah, we don't need to know your name." Mao teased making the other teenage boy comically open his mouth in a gaping matter.

"Guys, where did Tsuchimikado go off to?" Touma asked looking around.

"You mean that weirdo with the sunglasses, I could swear that guy was here a second ago," Misaka answered.

Accelerator looked at Mao suspiciously. "Hmm..."

Hinata took a stop further away turning around and seeing that her friends weren't behind her. "Geez, a bunch of slowpokes." She then turned to look ahead. "If we go up further there are a lot of good scenes."

Creak Creak Creak

Hinata let out a small gasp.

Rustle Rustle Rustle

She listened carefully to the sound she was hearing and saw glowing eyes from the darkness staring back at her making her tense up with fear.

A static glitch sound was heard from Yukiteru's cell phone. "The future has changed, the sound means that another Holder is nearby!" Yuno stated.

This alarmed the others. Touma felt on edge but for other reasons. "Damn it, Hinata went up ahead of us and she's clearly vulnerable too!" He then looked around. "Tsuchimikado, where the hell are you?"

Accelerator smirked a little. "Finally some action."

"Hey Accelerator, this is serious!" Yukiteru retorted. "Everyone else is going to get caught in the crossfire!" He searches for a contact number in his phone. "Kurusu, I must contact him!"

Yuno panicked. "Yuki, this isn't the time, we must leave at once before the enemy comes at us!"

"No, Hinata is our friend, we can't leave her alone!" Yukiteru argued making Yuno flinch.

Yukiteru looked at his diary's entry and his eyes widened with horror at what he read "At the front of the ramp found a rolling corpse of Hinata" Moving quickly, he went to the location where Hinata was and what he saw was a grisly sight.

In the front of the ramp was Hinata lying motionless on her stomach and a torn arm on the grass.

Misaka covered her mouth trying to hold in her scream. Saten turned her head away in fear and disgust.

Accelerator on the other hand didn't even flinch.

Touma covered his mouth with his hands holding his lunch.

Accelerator felt a presence and turned around. "Who is there, in the other bushes!"

Akise was walking toward the gang with his hands in his pockets. "Looks like I arrived here just in time."

Mao was relieved to see another familiar face. "Akise, when did you get here?" Akise was in front glancing at them, but mostly at Yukiteru. "Not too long, but, I'm surprised Accelerator was able to sense me that quickly very impressive." He raised his hand seeing the trembling expression on Yukiteru's. "Don't take this wrong, but, your shaking is adorable."

Misaka was perplexed by what she just heard. "What did he say?"

Accelerator growled in annoyance. "Hey moron, if you didn't notice we have company." Despite the rude remark, Akise's calm expression didn't leave his face. "Yeah, I believe you're right."

"Hey Aru, where is Tsuchimikado?" Touma asked.

"You mean the teenage boy with the sunglasses, I didn't see him, I would imagine he probably gotten killed by the dogs," Akise replied. Before he realized it, he felt his shirt get grabbed by Touma. "This isn't funny, you idiot!"

"Easy Touma!" Saten panicked seeing the boy that Misaka admired lose his cool.

Despite Touma's outburst, Akise remained calm. "Relax Kamijou, I wasn't trying to be funny. I'm sure your friend is safe." Akise's shirt was released. "Anyway, there are a lot of questions I want to ask Yukuiteru, but, for now, we need to get somewhere safe." He then looked at the top of the hill. "There is a watch tower, so, let's take shelter inside there." Without warning, Akise grabbed hold of Yukiteru's hand and ran off with him with the others following.

"Stop it, he's not your dance partner!" Yuno retorted.

"He's reminding me of Kuroko," Misaka murmured with a sweat drop.

Saten looked back at Hinata's dead body. "Hinata..."

17:30 Random Building

10th was walking through some kennel cages while holding a beer bottle. He walked inside and got a wine glass cup for his drink. "Today we did hard work for all the little dogs." There was a small white dog approaching him. "let us be a little more generous." He began to fry a beef steak on a frying pan. "Tonight's dinner is beef steak slow-cooked meat stew and this 30-year-old red wine." He pushed the food on a moving cart and arrived at a dining room. "It looks good! Everyone!" In the seats were different dogs that began to eat their meat.

10th was having noodles in a cup and looked at a radar on a nearby big screen. "The battle is over there has already started. Really, I gave away both my Diary and my canines. If that person doesn't work hard..." He paused when he saw Mary approaching him. "You're still better Mary."

Everyone was inside the watch tower.

Saten was looking around. "Wow, the inside is bigger than I thought."

Accelerator was glaring at the dogs. "Damn, if those dogs want a fight, I'll give them one."

"Wait, we can't do anything reckless," Touma advised. "Even if you kill them, then more will show up and the glass will be broken leaving us defenseless."

"He's right," Yukiteru agreed. "For now, we need to figure out a plan." He had other thoughts in the back of his mind. "Hinata...she's dead...Motoharu, I hope he's safe."

Akise Aru decided to get down to business. "I'm Akise Aru, I have a dream to become a famous detective one of these days."

Saten smiled in admiration. "That's quite a dream, I'm sure you'll get there someday." Akise smiled at the teenage girl. "I appreciate your support, Saten." He then looked at Touma. "Touma Kamijou, the boy that took down the terrorist woman Minene Uyuru by kissing her, quite the boldness if you ask me. Although the woman escaped, you managed to save most of the people at the other middle school."

Touma was a little stunned at the praise. "Uh...thanks I guess, even though, I never wanted to kiss her, it was an accident."

Akise chuckled softly. "Well, Yukiteru Amano, I've been watching you and you interested me quite a lot more than I thought. First I will like to tell you all about my world. World of continuous Murders...World of School Bombings...and World of the Omekata...are you hiding something important on your person?"

Yukiteru froze on the spot which Akise noticed. "Relax, I'm not going to arrest you or anything. I admit your friends that I met are interested too and I heard of the incident of Tsubaki's parent's death, quite impressive that an old murder case was solved."

Bump Bump Bump

The dogs were lunging at the glass windows.

"Damn it, they're trying to break through!" Kosaka exclaimed.

"Yes, it'll be easy for them since there's so many of them too!" Saten added.

In the woods was Hinata, who was sneaking through the woods. "I did it, so for now, I must-" She felt someone grab her wrist. "Don't move, I hate to see a cute girl like you get hurt."

There was another teenage boy behind her with a sly grin. "You..." Hinata stuttered.

The dogs continued to lunge at the glass windows. "Damn it, at this rate, they'll break through!" Kosaka shouted.

Accelerator glanced at Mao. "Something isn't right."

Akise continued to talk with Yukiteru. "Yukiteru Amano, I can see that you're nervous, but I come here as a friend. Believe it or not, I won't turn on you and your friends." Hearing that made Yukiteru happy.

Yuno approached the two. "You say that you're a friend, huh?" She then looked at Yukiteru. "Yukki, you need to think about the current situation again. Whoever is responsible for the dogs should be around here."

"She's got a point," Saten agreed. "It's obvious the dogs are being controlled."

Touma put his finger to his chin. "Yes, the main question is, who is controlling the dogs?"

"Perhaps, it's the girl...the jerk...or the pervert detective..." Yuno accused with an emotionless smile on her face.

Kosaka felt offended to that. "Don't pin this on me!"

Accelerator felt his cell phone vibrate. "Who is calling me?" He walked away quietly without the others noticing. "Motoharu...where the hell are you?"

"I doubt it was Kosaka, he's not too bright after all," Misaka commented.

Kosaka felt more offended. "Hey!"

"That said, Akise, you are a detective, you being here must mean you have an idea of who is behind the murder cases that was happening recently?" Misaka inquired.

Akise chuckled a little. "A smart girl you are, impressive, yes, I actually-"

Suddenly the dogs fled away surprising the others. Yukiteru and Yuno felt their phones vibrate. "The dogs fled. Yukiteru and Yuno's friends are safe for now"

Yukiteru was surprised and relieved at the same time. "Wow, that's a relief."

"Our Diaries told us that the dogs have fled."

Saten was puzzled at the sudden change of events. "Don't know why, but we're safe at least for now."

Accelerator approached the gang. Touma looked at the other teenage boy. "Accelerator, what were you doing?"

The white-albino teenager looked at Mao with a cold stare. Mao noticed this and suddenly felt nervous. "Uh...what is it?"

Accelerator's cold stare didn't leave his face. "Don't play dumb, I know you are the partner."

The others gasped except for Akise. "You and Hinata are just mere underlings working for 10th."

Yukiteru got in front of Mao. "Accelerator, stop this, you don't know that!"

Accelerator grinned. "I do...right here..." He held up his cell phone pressing the speaker button. "Hey guys, sorry I had you all worried." Tsuchimikado's voice surprised the others expect for Akise.

"Tsuchimikado, where have you been?" Touma demanded.

"I think my captured suspect can answer that..."

"Mao, are you there?" Hinata's voice was heard surprising the others again except for Akise and Accelerator.

"What is going on?" Yukiteru asked in confusion.

Accelerator sighed annoyingly. "Don't you get you dumbass, Hinata and Mao are working with 10th all this time. Their plan was to trap us here and get hold of your Diaries likely, Akise's too."

Yukiteru turned to look at Akise. "Hold on, you're a Diary user too?" Akise didn't respond but smiled in return only.

Yuno looked at the detective suspiciously.

Kosaka was still confused of what was going on. "Hey, you guys are talking Diaries, just what the hell are you talking about?" Yukiteru figured things would come to this. "Well, its like this." He began to explain to his classmate of what he could.

Kosaka was looking at his classmate's cell phone. "Whoa, you mean that your cell phone can do this crazy stuff!" A wide smile took place on his face. "Talk about damn awesome!"

The door to the watch tower opened with Hinata walking inside with her hand behind her head and Motoharu following behind the girl with a pistol pointed at her back.

"Is that gun necessary?" Touma asked a little shocked.

"Sorry, I can't let the underling get away," Motoharu replied with a casual look on his face.

Yuno glared at Hinata and Mao. "Those stupid bitches betraying my darling."

Akise chuckled a little. "I must admit Tsuchimikado, you figured out much more than I'd expected. I might have underestimated you."

Saten had a question. "Hinata, Mao, why are you doing this?" She had a hurtful expression on her face.

Misaka looked pissed off herself. "We suggest you answer our questions, honestly, I'm a little pissed off about how you betrayed us."

"Easy you two," Akise assured the two middle school girls. "We can talk out the details later, so for now, how about we play a game?"

"A game..." Touma and Kosaka questioned in confusion.

M

At the Sakurami Police Station

Uiharu, Tsubaki, Index, and Aiho were in the break room with two orders of pizza.

Index was chowing like a hungry dog. "Chew...chew...munch...munch..."

"Easy there, you'll choke on your food if you eat like that," Uiharu advised.

Tsubaki giggled. "She loves to eat."

Aiho chuckled. "No surprise there."

Uiharu was thinking about something else.

Sometime after Kurusu left on his duty.

Uiharu overheard a few officers talking about something in the office. "Did you hear, the chief's son is not feeling well?"

"Yeah, I think Kurusu is at the hospital, a doctor I know said they saw the chief there with his wife."

"Yes, the chief looked extremely worried and sad, but he didn't cry or anything."

"Trying to stay strong for his family, talk about keeping your chin up."

"Oh no..." Uiharu thought worriedly.

"If Kurusu's son is sick, why didn't he talk to us about it." Uiharu thought looking sad. "Kurusu is surely feeling so sad."

One week ago Sakruami City House

Hinata was talking with 10th.

"That's right, this is a Future Diary that records my beloved dogs. The Rearing Diary and just as you thought the criminal is me. I killed all the people that were suspected to be Diary Users."

Hinata was speechless upon hearing this revelation. "My mind was disordered by the dogs and I betrayed you and your mother. This thing made me regretful until today. I want become a God and make time reverse."

Hinata saw a little hope in that. "Start over, as long as I'm at your side there is still hope...!"

The man who Hinata called her father then glanced at his nearby window and slightly pulled back the curtain. "No...at the moment I'm being pursued by him..." Hinata took a look down the sidewalk and saw Akise Aru. "That boy has been pursuing me for quite some time. He's a Diary User and as long as he's watching me, starting over is going to be difficult."

Hinata looked away for a second until she looked back at her father. "I understand, I'll think of an idea!"

Present

18:51 Sakurami City Central Park Watchtower

"What is the game you have in mind?" Hinata asked.

"A coin toss, if one of us wins out of three, then you will surrender your Diary to us," Akise answered. "But, if you win, then you can do whatever you want with me as for the others leave them be."

"Quite bold," Saten thought a little worried though.

Tsuchimikado began to text Orsola. "Hope she can get here soon before someone gets hurt."

Hinata decided to be a little fair. "Listen, the reason I did this is for my reason. In other words, Akise is my target, not Amano."

Yukiteru and Yuno were surprised a little.

"Yes, as for the body you saw it was a fake with my clothes on," Hinata continued.

"Yeah, that explains the change of clothes too." Touma pointed out. "You weren't wearing those this morning, I think you look kind of cool in them."

Hinata's face flushed. "Huh?!"

Akise chuckled. "That's quite a bold statement."

"Anyway, you claim that Akise is a Diary User too, right?" Tsuchimikado inquired earning a slow nod from Hinata.

The magician-esper hybrid had a sly grin on his face and looked at the teenage detective. "If that is the case, then, why didn't Akise's cell phone make that sound whenever the future changes?"

Everyone looked at Akise.

"I think I know," Yuno quickly snatched Akise's cell phone and looked at the text section. "I figured, no entry." She was tossed by the detective's cell phone, which he caught.

Akise began to laugh lightly. "Heheheheh...I admit you got me more than I'd expected. Yes, I'm no Diary user, but, it was fun that some of you guys presumed that." He put his cell phone in his pocket. "For the reason I'm here, Hinata wants me dead because I know her father's dirty little secret."

Yukiteru and Touma were puzzled, which Tsuchimikado noticed. "You two still don't get it, her father is 10th better known as Karyuudo Tsukishima Director of Sakurami City's dog kennels."

"Hold on, her father is 10th and the owner of the dog kennel?!" Saten exclaimed in surprise.

"That explains the large amount of dogs here," Misaka added.

"How did you figure that out?" Touma asked his question pointing at Motoharu.

"I was told in secret by Kurusu," His classmate replied with a calm expression.

Vector was watching the dogs from the nearby tree who were growling at him. "Those canines are quite the nuisance." He saw the dogs growling at him. "No matter, I got the information I need, but, I think it's time to add a little fun to this night." He smirked widely as he raised his hand above his head. "Mind Control Manipulation!" His hand released magic energy waves in the area making the dog's react halt differently. "Attack kill those humans!"

Hinata felt her father's cell phone make the static glitch. "What is this?" She looked at her Diary's entry section. "Alpha Team is attacking and I didn't command them!"

Tsuchikshima looked at his radar abruptly and stood from his seat. "What is this, my dogs are moving without my daughter's command." He looked displeased but confused at the same time.

"Alpha Five stand down!" Hinata commanded through the Diary.

The dogs didn't respond to her command. "Damn it, what is going on?"

Yuno glared at the other teenage girl. "It's obvious that you commanded them to return somehow!" She accussed.

Hinata glared back at the other Diary user. "I didn't, the dogs only follow my command when I order them to!"

Tsuchimikado quickly looked at the window where the dogs were coming from, he then narrowed his eyes in the direction closely. "A magic energy I'm sensing, it's faint but strong." Drops of sweat were on his forehead. "This can't be good, the magic is similar to Kanzaki's level."

The dogs were lunging at each different window nearly breaking them down. "Oh no, at this rate, they're be able to break through!" Saten exclaimed.

Kosaka was rubbing his hands through his hair roughly panicking. "Oh no, I can't die here!"

"Alpha Team stand down I command you!" Hinata continued to order the hounds but to no avail.

Accelerator prepared to use his power. "I can use the Blood Manipulation to make sure these mutts play dead for sure."

Touma whacked his right fist on the guy's head. "Don't...you'll just freak everyone out even more!"

Akise looked at the hounds with a troubled look even though he was partly intrigued. "Interesting, the dogs are somehow attacking without Hinata or her father giving commands, but do they have an accomplice or something."

Yukiteru was looking through his Diary's entries. "Yukiteru is bitten to death along with Yuno...and his friends...by the dogs. Dead End"

Yuno was becoming worried for once. "Damn it, not sure if that bitch Hinata is behind this. It doesn't matter, the point is we escape from this hell and let 4th handle the rest."

Orsola was in the woods. "It's time..." She held up her Lotus wand. "I call upon the sleep night spell and put our enemies before me in a deep sleep." A magic moonlight energy was released from the tip of the wand and the dogs were caught in the light and all of them collapsed.

"Hey, what just happened to the dogs?!" Mao questioned still shaken up.

Hinata looked through the window. "Are they dead?"

Tsuchimikado turned around feeling a faint magic energy. "Orsola...heh. We owe you."

Touma was relieved. "Thank goodness."

Akise saw the light and had a curious look on his face. "What was that light, did it somehow make the hounds collapse?"

Yuno saw her chance and quickly rushed at Hinata holding a knife to her neck shocking the group except for Accelerator and Akise.

"Don't move!" Yuno warned halting Mao. "Hand over the Diary and I might not harm you!"

Hinata was feeling utterly scared of the situation she was in. "No, I can't..."

Misaka gritted her teeth. "That idiot..."

"Yuno stop..." Yukiteru said approaching his stalker. "You don't have to take this far."

"She is the enemy, even if we escape, her father and herself will come after us again," Yuno said looking at her crush.

"I hate to admit it, but, she has a point," Accelerator agreed somewhat.

"Not helping!" Misaka barked.

"Yuno, listen, I think you're doing this because you want me and only me, right?" Yukiteru inquired.

Yuno looked away for a second before she looked back at her crush again. "Yeah...if you got to know this girl and fell in love. Life wouldn't be just worth living if I can't be the center of your world. Anyone that shoulders on my Yukki...will meet their maker, I can't allow that not even you and Saten!"

Misaka felt pissed off but utterly dumb of some other girl was jealous of her.

Saten didn't say a word but she was a little hurt.

"She's clearly obsessed with Yukiteru than I thought," Tsuchimikado thought with a small grin on his face. "I feel a bit jealous."

"Yukki, you understand, don't you, I'm the only friend you ever need, right?" Yuno asked hopefully.

Before Yukiteru could give an answer Touma stepped in front with a serious look on his face. "That's enough!" He demanded loudly startling the others except for Accelerator and Motoharu. "Yuno, don't you realize how ridiculous you sound? You claim that all of us what takes Yuki away from you but that's nothing more than an illusion stuck in your head!" His look didn't leave his face which somehow stunned Yuno. "Listen, we're in this game together. I mean sure my friends and I aren't Diary Users, but, that doesn't change the fact that you and Yuki are our friends!"

Misaka sighed figuring that her crush would give his friendship speech. "I agree...Yuno, you can't just keep pushing others away. Yukiteru considers us friends and nothing more, you should know that by now."

Saten stepped forward standing at her friend's side. "Yuno, we're all friends here including you too."

Tsuchimikado smirked. "Yuno Gasai, I consider you a friend too, and if it makes you feel better, I think you're cute." Yuno was speechless when the esper magician hybrid told her that so forwardly. Yukiteru flinched that some other guy called his stalker cute so easily. "I think I'm jealous that Yuki has a cute girl that loves him so much."

"Moron..." Accelerator and Misaka thought in unison with blank expressions.

Touma recollected himself and looked back at Yuno. "Yuno, you need to understand that all of us and the others consider you our friend so do I!" His words somehow were swaying Yuno without her realizing it.

Yukiteru smiled looking at his friends for a second until he returned his gaze at Yuno. "Yuno..." His stalker looked at him. "You're not my friend."

The others jumped except for Accelerator and Akise. Yuno on the other hand was hurt as she began to sob. "Don't say that!" Tears fell down her cheeks.

"Damn it, let me finish...you're not my friend Yuno I'm sorry." Yukiteru continued as he looked at the others. "Hinata, Mao, Akise, Kosaka." He gulped for a second. "This is Yuno Gasai, my...uh girlfriend."

Yuno released her grip on Hinata making her face flush. "Yukki...you called me your girlfriend, didn't you..."

"Don't spoil the moment..." Yukiteru interrupted. "I'm being a gentleman here and introducing you to our new friends, I waited for a long time for this."

Akise was impressed. "He's brilliant."

"Wow, they're acting like a married couple," Kosaka commented.

Hinata was a little impressed by the bold statement. "Ha...you got more guts than I thought Amano. Talk about taking one for the team."

"Yuno, remember on July 28th, that's when we live happily after ever, right?" Yukiteru reminded.

"What!?" Touma and Misaka exclaimed with gaping mouths.

Saten was delighted to hear such news. "Wow, that sounds so romantic!"

"Yukki...I..." Yuno cooed with a happy expression on her face.

"Listen Yuno, apologize to Mao, Hinata, and the others and accept them as our friends," Yukiteru suggested with a smile. "You got it?"

Yuno nodded her head her happy expression not leaving her face. Yukiteru was glad he was able to calm Yuno, however one thing that bugs him. "Man, I got myself in this mess. Although, its better than having her spill blood again."

"Anyway, why did you guys stand for me?" Hinata asked.

Yukiteru smiled. "You thought you were doing the right thing to help your father. I admire something like that." He shook her hand. "Let's be friends." Hinata nodded her head with a small smile.

Touma approached Hinata. "Same here-" He stepped on his shoelace and tripped over falling over on top of Hinata causing them both to fall to the floor.

"Ow," Touma groaned as he slowly opened his eyes, but only revealed darkness. His eyes widened as he found himself on top of Hinata in a compromised position with his head in her boobs.

"Damn it, now he's got another girl in his harem!" Tsuchimikado growled comically.

"Touma..." Surprisingly there was Index, who looked ticked off as she glared at the high school boy. "Care to explain why you're lying on top of another girl!?"

"Who is she?" Kosaka asked.

Mao had a cutesy face. "Aw, she's so cute!" Index didn't hear the middle school girl's words being distracted.

"Wait, I didn't fall on her on purpose, I just tripped, I swear!" Touma pleaded drops of sweat on his face.

"I will kill you!" Index bared her fangs like an angry dog and chased him around the room comically.

"Damn, rotten luck!"

"What are you doing here?" Miasak inquired pointing at the little nun.

"I got a ride here with the geek in the sunglasses and that...Orsola showed me the way here."

"Hello, I'm glad that you're alright," There was Orsola was in her nun outfit this time.

Kosaka was speechless of the girl that caught his eye. "Wow..."

Mao was lovestruck when she saw the sexy nun. "A nun with boobs!" She cooed excitedly but before she could make a move, Hinata grabbed her by her skirt. "Now isn't the time you idiot."

"Hinata..." Tsukishima's voice was heard from one of the dogs ' collars. "I can see that you've done quite well. I made a mistake thinking Akise was a Diary User too."

Hinata released her friend and went over to the dog. "It's okay, you can just turn back time and redo it."

"No...you were easily fooled, but the truth is I can't turn back time," Tsukishima confessed a remorseful look was shown on his face. "Anyway, you can't turn out bad like me. Live your life the way you want to."

Touma approached the dog. "Your Hinata's father, right?"

Tsukishima let out a small gasp but recognized the voice. "Yes, and I believe that you're Touma Kamijou. I saw your speech broadcast in the news. I was hoping for the chance to meet you, after the show you put on during the middle school bombing, I thought you were all talking. It's clear to me that you and your friends have more guts than I thought."

"Is that a compliment or something?" Touma questioned.

"Perhaps...but, I can see that my daughter and her friends will be in good hands with you especially 1st," Tsuchishima replied. "One more thing, parents rather than father are not the only bad people. Watch out for those who put on nice faces, isn't that right, 4th?" Yukiteru, Touma, Hinata, Misaka, and Saten somewhat heard the old man's last words.

Tsuchmikado and Accelerator didn't say a word.

Misaka knew what was happening with Hinata's father. "Oh no, looks like Kurusu found Hinata's dad."

Behind the 10th Diary user was Kurusu pointing a gun behind his head. "Hinata, take care...my daughter."

Vivian was walking down the street and looked at the sky. She then felt her cell phone rang and activated the reply button. "Hello."

"Well, busy day playing science teacher." Vector's voice replied.

"Oh Vector, I guess you have something to report?" Vivian inquired.

At the park, three dead hounds were lying motionless at Vector's feet. "Yes, I also managed to grab some species for you to experiment on. So, come and meet me in the park."

Yukiteru and his friends attend the new middle school. Things start rocky for a while until Hinata along with her friend Mao and the cocky arrogant boy Kosaka hang out in the park likely the crime location where recent murders were happening. Things become dangerous when a group of hounds attack the teenagers and hunt down their new friend Akise Aru, who seems to have taken a liking to Yukiteru.

Vector and Vivian are attending the middle school undercover. Vector is a student and Vivian is a scientist, what will they plan to do next, only time will tell.

Hinata's identity and purpose are revealed by Tsuchimikado. The girl is the daughter of the fourth Diary user Karyuudo Tsukishima. Vector intervenes for other reasons and uses a magic power to control the dogs. Orsola arrives and puts the dogs in a deep sleep. Yuno tries to kill Hinata only for Touma and the others stand up and convince her not to do it. Yukiteru states that Yuno is his girlfriend to stand down which works. Tsukishima has one last thing to say to his daughter before he is shot by Kurusu.

The main question is, what will happen next, find out next time.
