Chapter 11: Broken Alliance

In the mountain outside Sakurami City

Keigo Kurusu was at the small cabin in which Minene was hiding. He was on his knees. "What do you want this time?"

"I need your assistance even more this time. In exchange, I'll continue sharing police information with you so you can plot at your convenience."

Minene wasn't clearly understanding the chief's motives. "Why can't you use Bonnie and Clyde or those new friends of theirs instead?"

"Because my back is up against the damn wall!" Once those words left Keigo's mouth the terrorist lady gasped. "I know Yukiteru and Yuno aren't in this to win and they worry about things such as the world being destroyed like 6th was."

"Isn't that not a problem anymore?" Minene questioned. "You mentioned that Touma brat and his friends were able to get 6th on your side."

"True, but, I get the feeling once things get out of control they're crack eventually." Keigo lifts his head. "You on the other hand are striving to be God saying things like "Let's make the world better" and all that stuff."

Minene was silent as she stared at the chief. "As for my request...it isn't large, just one that I want you to do for me..." He bowed his head down once more. "If I'm defeated in the middle of the game please...take care of...my..." Lightning struck outside blocking out his voice and last words which Minene was still able to understand and her eyes widened.

Present

At the 3LDK apartment

Aiho and Uiharu were discussing with their friends what they learned recently.

Touma was stunned with wide eyes. "Are you serious?"

"Yes, Uiharu was able to hack into Keigo's email a few hours ago and looked at some messages on it. His wife was emailing that his son's condition was getting worse and worse." Saten answered.

Accelerator was putting his finger to his chin. "I don't get it, why does this concern us?"

Uiharu was silent before she found her voice. "I put one of the camera toys that Kurusu gave Misaka in the conference room...and listened to the meeting they had a little while ago before you guys arrived here...and..." Her lips curled with tears forming in her eyes. "Kusuru is planning to arrest Yuki and Yuno for killing Hinata's father!"

The others gasped in shock.

"Wait, that isn't true!" Touma shouted angrily. "Hinata's father mentioned it was 4th as in Kurusu himself that killed him!"

"Yeah, that's not true at all! Shouts Misaka Misaka mad at Kurusu's doing!" Last Order yelled stomping her feet.

"Calm down you two..." Aiho assurred calmly despite the high school boy's shouting. "We all know that, but it's clear that Kurusu is somehow pulling this plan without anyone batting an eye."

"If that's the case, why isn't he framing us too?" Itsuwa questioned.

"It's obvious that he has no plan for that or we can assume he doesn't want us to get involved." Aiho theorized.

"Either way, what do we do?" Index asked.

Misaka clenched her hands tightly. "It's obvious, we need to find a way to prove Yuki and Yuno's innocence."

Accelerator just scoffed. "We should just kill the geezer and get this over with."

Touma was completely against that suggestion. "No, if we do that we'll be in the same situation as Yuki and Yuno are." The white-haired teenager gave a grunt. "I understand your anger, but, Keigo is just probably overwhelmed with despair due to his son's illness. So, right now, I think we should try to find a way to talk to him."

"Do you think you'll just talk the old man out of this crap?" Accelerator questioned coldly.

Touma looked away. "I'm not sure, but we have to do something. Think about you guys, Keigo was on our side and he worked with us hoping to stop this madness of this Survival Game. Now that his son's life hangs in the balance, he will do what he needs to do to help his son." He looked at them with a determined look on his face. "Don't get me wrong, framing Yuki and Yuno isn't something I like. They're our friends and right now they need our help."

"Touma..." Index murmured.

Uiharu had to agree and stood up getting the others attention. "Kamijou is right, Keigo is still our friend too, he needs his friends to help him and we must try to convince him to stop what he's doing and confess that Yuki and Yuno are innocent. It won't be easy, but, we have to help our friends no matter what!"

"I'm way ahead of you guys..." Orsola was coming into the living room.

"Orsola...what were you doing?" Touma asked.

8:02 PM In the street in Sakurami City

Yukiteru was walking down the sidewalk taking in what Akise told me. "I'm a stable influence on Yuno...that means I have to support her to make sure she doesn't go mad." He clearly understood what had to be done, but, that didn't change how cautious he was still. "Even so, what can I do?" He heard some faint footsteps.

Nishijima and a few officers approached him. "Yukiteru Amano, forgive us for this sudden approach but we have a few questions we would like to ask at the station." Yukuiteru was perplexed but did what they told him to do. Tsuchmikado was in a nearby alleyway hiding in the shadows. "Looks like I arrived too late." He thought. "I must act once the time is right." He felt a faint magic energy close.

Vector was on the top of the buildings. "This should be entertaining." He smirked widely and then he felt a faint magic power. "Looks like one of the Academy City's spies are nearby but for now, I'll keep my focus on the mission for now."

At the Middle School

Science Class

Vivian was doing some experiments on the dead hounds. "To think these dogs had these metal-made jaws." She grinned widely like a mad scientist. "I have to admit, Hinata's old man really knows his stuff when it comes to these flea-bag beasts." She took out a spring. "Even though this isn't the world that I used to live in 1000 years ago, but, this will do."

20:21 Sakurami Police Station

Nishjima escorted Yukiteru to the front desk where Yuno was waiting for him. "Yuno, what is going on here?"

"Not sure, but it looks like an investigation, so we might have to fight to protect our Diaries," Yuno whispered.

Yukiteru looked down for a minute. "I should contact the others, but, I can't..." He then noticed that Uiharu and Aiho weren't around. "Aiho and Uiharu aren't here, they've been working at the station, so, why aren't they here?"

The two were escorted in the hallway where they sat on a bench. "Yuno, have you seen the others around?"

Yuno shook her head. "No, but it's okay, we don't need them at the moment." Her eyes became emotionless. Yukiteru saw this and became on edge. "Uh oh, she's going into psycho mode, if this gets any worse, someone could get hurt."

A station employee approached the two teenagers. "Excuse me, the chief would like to see you, Amano."

Despite how on edge Yukiteru was, he knew he had to be cool and keep Yuno in check as Akise's words echoed in his head. "You're a stable influence on her and your other friends might be too." Yukiteru placed his hand on Yuno's shoulder. "Listen Yuno, Kurusu is our friend so let me talk to him to sort this out." Yuno's eyes went back to normal. "Alright, but, I have a bad feeling so leave your Diary with me." Yukiteru agreed and went off to the interrogation room.

Kurusu was loading a gun just as Yukiteru entered the room. "Kurusu..." He sat down across from the table. "I know why I'm here, whoever told me that it was me and Yuno that killed is lying."

The chief smiled and held his cell phone. "10th was the killer and at the time he was killed you and Yuno were witnesses including Touma and the others." He showed his Diary's entry. "That said, I know innocent when I see it, no crime of you has been announced."

Yukiteru was somewhat relieved. "Dude, are you giving me heart failure?" He noticed the gun that the chief was holding. "Hey, what is with the gun?"

Kurusu was silent for a minute before he looked at the teenage boy. "Yukiteru, let's play a game called Russian Roulette." He pointed the gun at him.

Yuno was checking out her Diary entry. "Yukki has a gun pointed at his by the 4th. It's Russian Roulette! Yukki is in trouble! His bravery is keeping him from screaming. I have to help Yukki"

"What is wrong?" Nishjima asked snapping Yuno out of her psycho mode. There was an honest smile on the inspector's face. "Don't worry, Yukiteru is an honest boy, the talk will be over."

Yuno was seemingly glancing at the inspector. "Excuse me, where are Aiho and the others, shouldn't they be part of this too?"

Nishjima thought there would be no trouble answering her question. "The chief suggested not to get Aiho and the others involved for his reasons."

Yuno was afraid of this. "So, 4th doesn't want them to get involved, no doubt he can't let the others get dragged because they would probably not go along with it." She noticed a fire extinguisher on the wall. "Perfect..."

"What are you scared of Yukiteru, we have Future Diaries don't we?" Kurusu reminded with a shrug. "Your indiscriminate Diary is the same if you got free inside the station I could predict the whole incident with my Investigation Diary. To be it simply, you're not a bad person."

"Chief...where is Aiho and the others?" Yukiteru asked trying to keep it cool.

"Oh, I decided not to get them involved in this investigation," Kurusu replied. "Anyway, how many shots does this gun shoot, about five times." He shot four times only hearing a click leaving one left. "So, it is your last turn, so, you know what is coming next, right?"

Yukiteru felt his stomach turn inside out.

At the main entrance, the doors abruptly opened.

"Help!" The station employees and other officers turned to the shouting to see Saten coming inside the station holding Uiharu with blood stains on her head. "Uiharu was attacked on the head by a burglar, the attacker got away, so please, help her!"

The commotion reached Nishjima and Yuno. "What is the ruckus?"

An officer approached Nishijima. "Inspector Nishjima, Saten is here with an injured Uiharu claiming that her friend was attacked by a burglar!"

The inspector was stunned and shocked at the same time. "Get the girl some help, I'll inform the chief right away!"

Yuno didn't quite understand what was going on, but she saw her chance and followed the inspector to the interrogation room.

Kurusu pointed his gun at a frightened Yukiteru. "Yukiteru, I'm sorry but this is goodbye. I know this is unexpected but our alliance is over." Before he could pull the trigger the door opened up abruptly.

"Chief, we got a problem-" There was the inspector looking in the chief's direction and saw him pointing a gun at Yukiteru. "Chief, what are you doing?"

Kurusu froze on the spot. Yukiteru noticed Yuno was behind the inspector, but before he could get a word out, Yuno slammed the end of the fire extinguisher in the inspector's back causing him to fall over on his stomach.

"Yuno...!" Yukiteru panicked.

Yuno then tossed the extinguisher at the chief just as he pointed his gun at the girl. Suddenly the lights went off.

"Hey, why happened to the lights?!" Kurusu exclaimed in shock but then felt the impact of the fire extinguisher hit him on the head causing him to fall over off his chair.

"Yukki, run!" Yuno yelled.

Taking the chance, Yukiteru ran toward the doorway and fled with Yuno holding his hand. "Let's get the roof!"

Outside the station were Last Order, Aiho, and Misaka checking out a power box that was hanging on the wall of the police station. "Looks like the plan to turn off the power worked using the Misaka Network."

"Yeah, the place will be pitch black! Exclaims Misaka Misaka knowing the police will bump into each other!" Last Order giggled.

Aiho was looking at the station. "The plan is in motion, let's hope Yuki and Yuno will manage to escape."

Misaka looked at the police station. "Saten, Uiharu, your plan worked, now get out of there."

Nishjima got up despite the pain in his back. "Huh, why is it suddenly dark in here?" He then took out his cell phone to use a light. "Chief Kurusu, where are you?"

"Over here..." The chief was sitting up rubbing his head. "Damn it, Yuno was able to hit me, but, why is the power off?"

"Chief, were you pointing a gun at Yukiteru?" Nishjima asked curiously.

"Sorry, I was just showing him a gun, it wasn't loaded." Kurusu defended. "For now, find out why the power is out and find those two kids too!"

Yukiteru and Yuno were able to make it to the roof. "I'm sorry, Yuno, I don't get it why this is happening?"

"Not sure, why, but, I think our friends were here," Yuno replied. "I heard Saten and Uiharu were causing a racket in the station. Rather a diversion."

"Wait, Uiharu and Saten were here, but, that means..." Yukiteru began to wonder if somehow the others were nearby and involved with the blackout in the station.

"Well, it looks like I arrived here just in time," There was Tsuchimikado walking toward the two with his hands in his pockets.

"Tsuchimikado, we're glad to see you!" Yukiteru cried happily.

"Flattered but we got more important matters to discuss, though, this isn't the time nor the place. So, I suggest we leave the station and meet up at the Municipal Hospital."

"Huh, the Municipal Hospital, what will we find there?" Yukiteru asked.

Tsuchimikado walked past the two teenagers. "You'll find it out, though, I'll have to ask for your cell number, it's for the reason that this happening."

Yuno was a little curious. "I take it that you have a plan and that the others will meet up with us too."

Tsuchimikado turned his head to look at the stalker girl. "You bet, babe." Yuno was a little weirded being called "babe" especially not by her crush. "Anyway, let's go." He jumped off the roof onto a truck with a large blanket. Yukiteru and Yuno followed the latter and fled the area.

Sakurami City Municipal Hospital

Yukiteru and Yuno hid in the storage shed in the parking lot while Tsuchimikado hid behind a tree talking to Aiho.

"Yes, is Orsola ready soon?" Tsuchimikado asked.

"Not yet, she still has to master the spell a little longer, if she makes a mistake it could go way wrong," Aiho replied. "How are Yukiteru and Yuno?"

Tsuchimikado looked back at the storage shed for a second before turning away. "They're hiding well, but, we must make haste. Since Yuno attacked the chief, her information will be in his Investigation Diary."

"I was afraid of this, fortunately, Misaka and Last Order's actions weren't recorded considering that Kurusu never saw them do it." Aiho informed.

Tsuchimikado nodded his head. "Right, anyway, are Touma and Itsuwa ready?"

"Yes, they'll head on once Yukiteru and Yuno make their move," Aiho replied.

"Understood, keep me posted." Tsuchimikado stopped the call.

Yukiteru was drawing a donut shape on the floor using the dust. "Man, I'm hungry..." He complained.

Yuno could understand that. "I know, but, we have to hold up for the time being. The Diaries predict that we die tomorrow if we go out of a store to get food, we'll get in a gunfight with the police considering that we're wanted now."

"I know but..." Yukiteru halted his words when Yuno stood up. "Forgive me but you could look away for a minute?" This puzzled the timid teenage boy until he saw his stalker walk over a pile of boxes and pull down her skirt taking a whiz. Yukiteru was flustered almost forgetting about that.

"Anyway, we can't go like this either," Yuno mumbled blushing red out of embarrassment.

Yukiteru's phone rang and activated the reply button. "Tsuchimikado, is that you?"

"Yeah, but first put me on speaker mode." The other teenager suggested which the first diary user did.

"How are you holding up?"

Yukiteru was a little embarrassed to mention anything that happened just now. "Just peachy, but, I am hungry...I want the donuts that my father used to make."

Yuno was a little curious this time. "Do you mind asking why your parents divorced?"

Tsuchimikado's face had a curious look. "Divorced, guess that explains how he reacted at the time we had dinner at his place when we met his mother."

Yukiteru looked down with an uncertain expression. "Hell knows how my parents did such a thing." Suddenly his nose caught a whiff of something. "What is that smell?"

Yuno's face went beet red. "I'm sorry!"

"No, no, I mean I smell donuts, who else is out there?" Yukiteru asked.

Tsuchimikado turned to see a woman coming into the parking lot. "Oh, I see she has arrived."

Yukiteru was puzzled but before he could get a question in he looked out the window to see a familiar face. "Kurusu's wife, why is she here?"

In the hospital nurse's office.

Minene was dressed as a nurse and on her cell phone. "It seems my wife is heading over there. Just as I'd expected I'm counting on you as her bodyguard, 9th."

The terrorist woman felt rather weird about the situation. "You bastard can't you use one of your pigs to do this?"

"Work is part of an alliance!" Kurusu barked almost frustrated.

Minene swallowed the talk. "Fine, just remember to keep your end of the deal." She then looked out the window and saw two more teenagers. "Who are they...?" She took out her binoculars and gasped at a familiar face. "That boy...he's here...why?"

Kurusu was looking at his Diary. "There's not a big chance they'll appear near that hospital but-just in case, because that place is being targeted would be bad." There was a hint of remorse on his face. "One thing bothers me, Saten and Uiharu fled the moment the blackout happened, did they pull a prank on me? No, something else is going on too bad my Diary can't find out what is it."

Yukiteru and Yuno were inside the hallway cautiously following Kurusu's wife. "Why is she here and what are the donuts for?" Yukiteru thought. "Wait, does Tsuchimikado and the others know about this too?" Not wanting to wait around, he hastily ran through the hallway. "Hold it Yukki, if you stick out too much..."

"It's fine, we're going to be-" Yukiteru stopped in midsentence as he felt someone grab his wrist from the corner he came across. "Caught you!"

"9th!" Yuno exclaimed in surprise.

Before the second diary user could make a move, Minene activated her bomb trigger and...

KABOOM!~

Touma and Itsuwa were stunned by the explosion. "What was that?" They both asked at the same time.

Tsuchimikado was hiding in the storage shed this time. "Looks like things got a little dicey."

Once the smoke from the explosion cleared away. There was a hole in the hallway, and Yuno was lying beside it.

"Ugh..." The second diary user groaned.

Minene was quite surprised to see the girl was moving. "Damn, tough little brat, is she?"

Yukiteru was about to sneak away until Minene quickly snatched him by the wrist. "Trying to sneak away nice try." She smirked widely. "You guys came at the right time, I was getting bored." She held her switch in her left hand and was using her right hand to hold her tablet. "I've missed this 1st, I've planted countless bombs in the hospital. Luckily, it's not a motion sensor mode unless you decide to give me a reason to activate it."

"Yuki, Yuno!" Come running were Touma and Itsuwa from the corner.

"What was that explosion?" Itsuwa asked.

Touma was too busy helping Yuno up. "Are you alright?" He gently held her by her hand without realizing it. "T-thank you..."

"Oh my, so romantic." Minene taunted with a smirk.

Touma lift his head seeing the terrorist woman. "You!" He accidentally pulled away but didn't realize he still holding on to Yuno's hand causing them both to fall backward.

Yukiteru's jaw dropped with a comical.

Yuno was able to push up realizing the position she was in with the other teenage boy. "You pervert!" She barked with a flustered look on her face.

Itsuwa felt envious of the situation.

Touma stood back up. "Minene Uyuru, the terrorist lady, what are you doing here?"

Minene's smirk turned upside down looking at the teenage boy with a pissed-off look. "Never mind that I wasn't expecting you to be here. Although, this is a good opportunity to make you pay for humiliating me back at the middle school."

Multiple anime veins appeared on Touma's head. "Humiliating you!? If you're referring to that kiss, then that was your fault! You're the one that pulled me!"

"That wasn't the worst of it, in front of the entire school saw it...no the entire city, the newspaper about it spread the entire thing like wildfire!" Minene barked with shark teeth.

Yukiteru couldn't help but let out a small snicker. "Heheheheh..."

Minene heard this. "Something funny, 1st?" The timid teenage boy shook his head comically as his right hand landed on the woman's tablet.

KABOOM!~

The police station was alerted by hospital staff members. A station office employee approached the chief who had a bandage on his forehead. "Chief, there was an explosion at the Sakurami Hospital!"

"Understood!" The chief put on his jacket. "I was expecting Yuki and Yuno to be there, but not this soon."

Another hole was created by another explosion trapping Yukiteru and Minene in the middle. "Damn it, look what you did!"

"My hand slipped!" Yukiteru defended.

"Besides us, what are you doing here?" Yuno asked.

"That's none of your business, but, right now, thanks to your boyfriend's clumsiness, the police will be on their way soon!" Minene complained.

"Enough of this crap!" Touma cursed looking in Minene's direction. "I want to know why are you here?" His voice was demanding.

Yuno was astonished by Touma's boldness more likely his demand.

Minene was getting more annoyed by Touma's tone. "Getting pushy on me...I suggest you watch your tone before I decide to blow us all to hell."

"Not surprising..." There was Tsuchimikado approaching the others. "Kami has a way of losing his cool."

Minene narrowed her eyes at the other teenage boy. "Who the hell are you?"

Tsuchimikado was staring at Minene for a second and a sly grin took shape on his face. "Why are you staring at me like that?" She asked.

"I have to admit you look nice in that nurse outfit. Perhaps you like to try on an angel maid outfit too." The magician Esper hybrid replied his sly grin not leaving his face.

"Pervert..." Minene muttered in annoyance.

"Guys..." Yuno was carrying a ladder with Itsuwa. "Use this as a bridge."

They landed the ladder gently but the edge of the hole began to crack. "You guys better make haste, that area won't stay up for long," Itsuwa said.

Yukiteru began to crawl over the ladder until Minene grabbed him by his shirt. "Hold it, don't think I'll let you and your little buddies leave me stranded." She began to crawl over on top of Yukiteru.

"Wow, aren't you lucky?" Tsuchimikado joked with a light chuckle.

"This isn't funny!" Yukiteru whined comically.

"Look, I can see the situation is dire, but, perhaps we can call a truce. If so, I will tell you why your cop friend sold you and 2nd out." Minene said with a fake smile, though she was serious about the truce part.

This piqued Yukiteru's interest. "Really, what is it?" Before the terrorist Diary user could get a word in her cell phone began to ring irritating her. "Seriously at this time." She scooted back and held her phone to her ear. "What is it?"

"This is Kurusu, nice try but my Diary is keeping taps on your methods." This made Minene groan realizing she got too careless. "So, just wait a little longer for me to get there."

Yukiteru panicked and began to crawl away. "Nice try indeed, you're in cahoots with him!" Minene pulled back him and wrapped his arm around his neck. "Knock it off, I won't sell you out!"

"Nice try, but, adults won't lie to me anymore because I won't trust them again!" Yukiteru wept.

Tsuchimikado just gave sympathetic without making a peep.

"Listen 9th stop arguing with me and keep up the work otherwise your ass will be on a platter!" Kurusu's voice demanded.

"Yukki...don't worry, I'll be on your side!" Yuno assured.

"Yuno don't treat this like you're on a babysitting gig!" Yukiteru retorted comically.

"C'mon you two, enough of this!" Itsuwa yelled.

Soon the entire hallway was filling with argues.

Touma clenched his hands and unexpectedly jumped over to the spot where Yuki and Minene were on surprising them. "Give me that!" He snatched Minene's phone away using his left hand and held it to his ear. "Kurusu, you bastard!"

"Huh, Kamijou, why the hell are you there?" Kurusu asked almost angry.

"I know why you're doing this!" Touma shouted ignoring the chief's question. "Your son is sick which is why you've decided to sell out Yuki and Yuno so you can win this game, am I right?"

There was silence in the air, Kurusu didn't even reply but he didn't hang up either.

Minene looked at the boy suspiciously. "How does he..." She then looked at Itsuwa and Tsuchimikado. "Hold on, do they know about 4th's reason, it's got to be a trick."

Yukiteru calmed down after hearing Touma's words. "Hold on, Kurusu's son is sick..." He remembered Kurusu's wife. "Wait, if that lady is Kurusu's wife then that means..."

Yuno was surprised more than she had ever been in her life. "How did Touma find out 4th's reasons?" She then looked at Minene. "Does 9th know about this too?"

"I don't know what you're talking about..." Kurusu's voice was heard on the phone. "But, if you and your friends are interfering then I will have to place you and them under arrest for aiding two...no three escaped criminals...but if you and your friends leave at once then I'll pretend that this conversation between us never happened."

"NO! SCREW THAT!" Touma demanded angrily. "I won't let you frame my friends just so you can win a place a God! If you want to fight us, then bring it!" Touma hung up without letting Kurusu say a word.

"Idiot, now you got us in hot water!" Minene shouted.

Yukiteru was astonished and touched by Touma's words. "Touma..."

Tsuchimikado and Itsuwa weren't too surprised as they knew their friend always helped anyone whether they were friend, foe, or a stranger.

The terrorist lady picked up Yukiteru by his shirt. "I suppose it doesn't matter. No use escaping from the hospital." She walked toward the others.

"Tsuchimikado, what are you doing get over here!" Touma called to his classmate.

"I got something I need to do, I'll catch up with you guys later." Tsuchimikado ran off without giving more details.

Minene escorted the teenagers to a room. "Here we are room 413." She glanced at the teenagers. "I'm surprised that you Kamijou and your friends were able to figure out 4th's reasons." She opened the door and found Ms. Kurusu, who was startled at the sudden visit.

Touma recognized the woman. "Ms. Kurusu, you're here."

"You...and you two..." She said looking at Touma, Yukiteru, and Yuno.

Itsuwa looked at the boy who was resting on the bed. "That is Kurusu's son, I presume?"

Minene nodded with her arms crossed. "Yes, his name is Yo, about a few weeks ago, he was diagnosed as having three months to live."

Touma's eyes widened with shock. "Uiharu heard that someone from Kurusu's family was in the hospital, but, I didn't think it was this bad." He then looked out the window. "Orsola, do you think your spell will be able to cure Kurusu's son?"

Yuno had a question of her own. "9th, how did you find out about this?"

"Because I made a deal with him, he would erase my criminal records to help him win." Minene picked up the box of donuts. "Of course, that's off the table considering Kamijou provoked the asshole."

Touma groaned in annoyance but didn't say a word.

Itsuwa didn't like where this was going. "What are you trying to do with these two?"

"Use your head girly, we team up by taking his family as hostages." Minene opened the donut box.

"Are you serious?" Touma asked a little ticked off. "If things go south then we'll be in a bigger hole than we are!"

Minene was taken aback by the high school boy's tone once more but didn't show it. "Listen up you twit. If you and your friends are already in hot water as much as 1st, 2nd, and I are. So, unless you have a better idea then speak up." Touma looked at the terrorist woman for a few seconds and looked away looking defeated.

"That's what I thought..." Minene took a chow of the donut. "Anyway, let's get started."

Touma was taking in this. "Damn it, at this rate, Kurusu's parents are in danger. I know Kurusu is doing this to save his son but...he's sacrificing us to save him. I might not know what it means to be a parent. However, I can't let innocent people like Kurusu's family get dragged into this because their other family member is doing something so drastic!" He took out his cell phone. "Minene, I got to go outside to make a call, don't worry, I won't be long."

"Do what you want," Minene bluntly said.

Touma began to open the door but stopped to glance at Itsuwa. "Itsuwa, keep them safe I'll be right back." His other friend nodded her head. He ran further in the hallway and made a call to a certain Railgun girl.

In a men's hospital restroom. Motharu was making a call. "Orsola, is the spell almost ready."

"Yes, I believe the one I'm using will cure Kurusu's son, however, I'll need a lot of concentrating." Orsola was riding in a taxi cab carefully whispering so the driver wouldn't hear her. "For now, I'm about 20 minutes away."

"Understood. I'll inform Kamijou and then I'll call the others right away to meet somewhere on the road where the police won't notice." Motoharu said.

"Alright, see you then." Orsola hung up putting the cell phone in her pocket. "Touma, Yuki, Yuno, I'm on my way."

Somewhere in the city nearby.

Kuroko, Misaki, and Kikyou fall out of the sky and landed on the roof of a building. "What is this place?" Kuroko asked.

"It isn't Academy City's standards, that's for sure," Kikyou answered observing their surroundings.

"Never mind, we should find sissy and the others!" Kuroko stated as she faintly heard sirens. "Are those police sirens?"

Kurusu betrays Yukiteru and Yuno to become a God. His reasons are revealed by Minene, who temporarily teams up with Yukiteru and his friends. However, Aiho and the others are preparing to make a plan with Orsola's help. Now, Kuroko, Misaki, and Kikyou arrive in Sakurami City, how did they get to the world where Gods and Diaries exist?

The main question is, what will Yukiteru and his friends do next knowing the lives of Kurusu's family and their own are on the line, find out next time.
