Chapter 13: Old Resort Town

In the Cathedral of Causality.

Muru Muru is seen making mochi. "To think the game is coming to a close."

DEUS was taken in by the events that had happened so far. "I must admit that Kamijou fellow and his little friends have made some changes, getting 4th to surrender after curing his son. That said, Tsuchimikado managed to get 9th to back off despite her petty grudge against Kamijou."

Muru Muru giggled playfully rather amusingly. "Heheheheh...that Kamijou does know to cook up the drama that's for sure and has such loyal friends including the ladies."

DEUS had one thing to say. "I wasn't expecting 4th to realize his son's terminal illness so soon." He looked at the small imp girl. "Muru Muru, did you do something to interfere?"

Muru Muru shrugged. "Yes, I might have, but, I had to before your time comes." She then looked at her boss. "Well, how about we make a wager, I bet my money on Yuno Gasai."

DEUS accepted the challenge. "I bet my vote on Yukiteru Amano."

12:00 AM At an abandoned town, an old hotel.

Selena was carrying unconscious Yukiteru through a dark hallway. "To think this young boy was able to make it this far despite his cowardness." She had a seductive smile on her face. "Talk about an interesting young man." She licked her lips as she glanced at a few goblins carrying a sleeping Yuno. "About her, take her to the basement but no need to watch her as long as my spell is intact these teenage humans won't awake for quite some time."

The goblin grunts began to make perverted slurps. "Not so fast..." Selena halted her minions. "You guys won't be doing anything with that girl, not yet at least. I have to make some arrangements in this dump.

The goblins obeyed their boss and carried Yuno away in the opposite direction. Selena looked at Yukiteru's face. "Hmm...I don't know why, but he reminds me of someone." She shrugged her shoulders and continued through the dark hallway.

The monitor room where was monitor screen where a few rooms on the screen. There was one that wasn't on the screen and was blank.

Yukiteru was on a chair strapped to it unconscious. Selena was observing the young teenage boy. "I have to admit, my sleep must've worked on him more than I thought." She walked over to the boy doing a lap dance while a bikini top and bottom. "To think such a cutie like him is here." She licked her lips like a hungry feline. "Meow..." She imitated a kitty sound in a seductive tone.

Four days later.

At the middle school

Touma and his friends attending the middle school were concerned about Yukiteru and Yuno's absence.

"It's been four days and Yukiteru and Yuno haven't returned," Uiharu said concerned.

"They were supposed to arrive two days ago, so far, nothing," Saten added.

Misaka had to admit she was troubled. "Touma, you mentioned that they were going stargazing, right?"

Touma nodded his head. "Yes, I'm certain of it. Although, I'm curious about what Uiharu found out about the investigation on Yuno."

"According to Aiho, she only found it that Yuno was supposed to be questioned about her parents. For what reason, the police couldn't give that away." Saten explained.

"What, we're friends with Aiho, not to mention she's part of the police force and captain temporarily!" Misaka protested.

"I know, but, the officers said they can't reveal anything else until Yuno is brought in." Uiharu assurred."

Misaka put her finger to her chin. "Damn it, it doesn't make sense why the police aren't sharing much information about the investigation on Yuno." Then a sudden thought occurred to her mind. "Wait, is it possible that Yuno found out about the investigation and..." A sense of great dread and concern washed over her a wave of water. "I doubt the police are going to get us to give any specific details unless..." The person who could get the information without being asked or remembered is the girl who helped during the incident with Dr. Gensai's whereabouts. "Misaki..."

Vector overheard this and grinned. "Looks like the pink-haired brat went AWOL and left the town."

At the Sakurami City Casino

Yoshino was in his office. "Talk about getting the cash." He drank some ginger ale. "I believe those stupid humans think they'll get rich so fast." He heard his cell phone ringing. "Hello, who is this?" A few seconds pass.

"So, Yuno went missing with that wussy Yukiteru." He smirked evilly. "Yes, where is Selena by the way?" His smirk turned upside down. "What, are you saying that Selena has kidnapped Yuno and Yukiteru?"

"Yes, but, is it part of the plan, those Academy City are clearly worried about their friends but learning that Yuno has some police on her tail," Vector replied. "Either way, this should be fun, though, you might want to get to Selena's location and fast before Kamijou and his friends interfere including the police."

At the abandoned cathedral.

3 Days pass

In the old library basement area.

Three hound-like beasts were chained to the wall.

Vivian approached them. "To think my knowledge would be able to create such powerful vicious beasts like you." She took out bags of raw meat and tossed it to three hound beasts.

All three began to slobber and munch on the meat like hungry predators.

"Now, I got two jobs for you two..." She was looking at two canines resembling two husk hounds.

Misaki was at the Sakurami Police Station. "To think I would have to use my Esper abilities on some police officers. I'll have to make sure to get two or one to approach me." She walked into the station acting casual and approached two officers. "Excuse me, I'm here on business for Aiho. I believe there was an investigation involving Yuno Gasai." She secretly pressed a button on her TV remote which clicked something in the two officers.

"Yes, we heard Yuno's parents went overseas on a work trip."

"The only problem with that detail is that it isn't true, they haven't been since in a few months, probably."

Misaki was getting intrigued. "Okay, do you both know what Yuno's do for a living?"

"We haven't gotten that information yet."

"Yes, plus, Akise was investigating Yuno's household."

That suddenly made the teenage model girl gasp. "Is...that right?" She then turned around and walked away. "Thank you for your time, gentlemen." She activated another remote erasing the two officers' memories of the talk they just had with the girl.

At Akise' house.

Akise was pondering Yukiteru's whereabouts. "It's been a week since Yuki and Yuno disappeared." Then a thought came to his mind. "Wait, could it be Touma and his friends know something." He then got a message and read it. "I think it's time to investigate."

A few hours later, Nishijima was having a chat with Akise in the conference room. "Your request to find out the bus they took including the train is here."

"Good, let me look at the schedule." Akise took a look at the schedule for the train and bus.

Tsubaski arrived at the station and met with the two in the room. "Akise, I managed to gather some information about Yuno's parent's whereabouts."

"Excellent, but, where are Touma and the others now?" Nishjima asked.

Tsubaki looked at the teenage detective with an unsure look. "I'm not sure, they've been acting a bit strange. Not only that, I noticed a new girl walking around in the station. She talked to two officers and left without saying a word."

Akise narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "I see, did you ask the officers what they talked about with this Misaki girl?"

Tsubaki looked down at the floor. "That's the weird part, I talked to them and asked them, but, they said they don't remember."

Akise and Nishijma looked at her in surprise. "Wait, what do you mean the two officers don't remember talking to Misaki?"

"I'm not sure, but, I suggest you leave that part to me while you guys track down Yukiteru and Yuno," Tsubaki advised.

One day later.

6:27 10:15 AM

Akise invited Kosaka, Hinata, and Mao on a trip to a hotel spring.

Touma and his friends were discussing what they investigated.

"So, Akise was investiging Yuno, what for?" Touma demanded.

"Easy...let's hear what Misaki and Uiharu have to say," Tsuchimikado said calmly despite his friend's outburst.

"According to what I learned the police were looking for Yuno about her parents' whereabouts. So far, they were told that Mr and Mrs. Gasai are on a trip overseas." Misaki explained with a troubled look on her face while having her arms crossed. "But, that wasn't entirely true, in the words, Yuno was possibly lying about that."

"Why would she have to reason to lie about that?" Saten asked.

Misaki shook her head. "I'm not sure, but, something tells me that her reason isn't pretty."

"What is Yuno's house like?" Orsola asked.

Tsuchimikado had that answer. "I think I might know..." The others looked in his direction. "A day ago before the investigation of Tsubaki's cult, I came across Yuno's household and noticed it was quiet like nobody was home. Plus, it looked like the place had no power either."

Kanzaki looked down with her eyes closed. "That does seem a bit odd. I'm sure if Yuno's parents were asleep that would be a different story, but there would still be lights on like those outside the house porches."

"That doesn't explain what Akise was doing there at Yuno's house," Touma said trying to understand the situation.

"Do you remember what Akise told about cases he's interested in?" Saten reminded.

"Yes, he's was interested in explosion, terrorists, and murder cases," Index answered.

"Correct, it's also possible that Akise knows something else that's gotten his attention," Saten theorized. "Perhaps something that he doesn't want us to know about otherwise it would tip Yuno off."

"Wait, what does even mean?" Misaka asked getting a bad feeling.

Accelerator had a feeling suddenly too. "It's possible that Yuno has killed someone that she doesn't want us to know about."

"That's scary Misaka Misaka says shivering from the scary detail!" Last Order chanted her body shivering.

"That's not the only thing we found out..." Misaki said turning to look at Uiharu. "Uiharu..."

Uiharu nodded her head and took out her cell phone. "I know it was wrong, but, I sort of hacked into Akise's phone and found out a message he wrote to Yukiteru probably on the day that Yukiteru and Yuno went on their trip." She read the message to the others as her friends were left speechless.

Touma was ticked off. "Akise...that bastard..."

Tsuchimikado noticed his classmate's pissed-off reaction. "Umm...I think we should find out where Akise is doing now."

"Already ahead of you guys," Aiho came into the room after getting off with her cell phone. "I booked a trip for you kids, however, only about six of you will go, so listen on who will go and those that'll remain here."

The next day.

Akise, Kosaka, Mao, and Hinata were at the hotel eating some shrimp.

"Munch...munch..." Kosaka was pigging out.

"Gee, slow down..." Hinata cringed a little grossed out.

"I wonder what Yuki and Yuno are up to lately." Hinata thought as she took a bit of a shrimp. "Now that I think about it, Touma and the others haven't talked to us lately." She looked at Akise. "Akise, have you talked to Touma and his friends yet?"

Akise went silent for a minute. "Not yet...I haven't managed to get a hold of Tsuchimikado, Aiho, or Kanzaki, it's quite weird."

Mao felt disappointed. "Aw, I was hoping that Kanzaki, Aiho, Orsola, or Itsuwa would be here."

"Too bad, I was hoping that Touma would be here too," Hinata said a little disappointed.

Kosaka felt utterly jealous upon hearing Touma's name. "I heard that jerk was popular with girls but...damn, that bastard has too much luck with girls!" His outburst got some customers to look at him oddly.

"Don't say that too loud idiot!" Hinata barked as she quickly paused getting her friends to stare at her oddly this time except for Akise.

"I have to get going..." Hinata left the table.

"Ah!" Mao exclaimed.

"Hey, what are you screaming about?" Kosaka asked startled.

Akise felt his cell phone vibrate. "Excuse me, I have to make this call." He walked away from the table and went into the bathroom. "I see, any sign of Touma and his friends." A small gasp was heard from his mouth. "Is that right, looks like things are about to get interesting."

At the abandoned town.

Yoshino was running through the quiet street. "It's about time that I arrived after I managed to get someone to take over my position for the time being." He looked ahead and saw a big hotel building. "That's where Selena is." He continued as he began to transform into a lizardman. "I shall have my prey or rather plaything."

The next day.

They came across a run-down holiday resort. "What is this dump?" Kosaka asked rudely.

"This dump is a holiday resort, at least it used to be," Nishijima arrived on the spot. "Hello, I'm Nishijima, I'm a friend of Akise Aru."

Hinata approached the man. "Hello, I'm Hinata Hino, I'm a friend of Yukiteru Amano and Touma Kamijou."

Nishijima nodded his head and looked over the rail seeing the view of the resort town. "I'm here to tell you guys something important regarding Yukiteru and Yuno."

Mao had a feeling about this. "Really, but, why?"

Nishijima had a troubled look on his face. "First off, I'm Nishijima an inspector of the Sakurami Police departure."

The three teenagers were surprised.

"Yes, we believe that Yukiteru is in this town with Yuno. Rather, we think Yukiteru was taken hostage and kept here somewhere in the city." Akise theorized.

Hinata was stunned at this realization. "Taken hostage, why would she do something like that?"

Nishijima looked back at the resort town. "Don't know, but, we have some theories. For now, I want you guys to search for Yukiteru and Yuno, I mean we can't call in enforcement because of their Diaries."

"Hold it!" The others turned to see Touma, Misaka, Accelerator, Last Order, Kanzaki, Tsuchimikado, Itsuwa, and Orsola.

"Touma!" Hinata called waving at the teenage high school boy.

"Is it true..." Touma began to walk toward Akise, looking ticked off as his hair's bangs covered his eyes. "That you knew about what was going on with Yuno...and you didn't..." Before anyone could react, Akise's shirt was pulled by Touma's hand. "BOTHER TELLING US SOONER?!"

Akise was a little stunned by the sudden outburst which was unlike him. "What do you mean?"

"Cut the crap, Aru, we know about your little investigation!" Misaka shouted.

"We know about you sending Yuki a message about the police looking for Yuno too," Tsuchimikado added.

Akise narrowed his eyes at the other teenagers. "That's right, you sent a message to Yuki and then he and Yuno just disappeared!" Touma shouted looking ticked off still. The detective teenager didn't reply despite the other boy's tone.

"C'mon, spill the beans you idiot, plus we know what you found from Yuno's household too!" Kanzaki said almost demanding.

Akise's eyes widened a bit slightly shocked until he regained his position. "Very well, I'll explain what I found out since there's no point in keeping it a secret." Touma released him from his grip.

Akise began to explain to everyone what he found out as each word he said left Touma and the others speechless with disgust and horror.

At first, no one said a word for at least a few seconds.

"Is that true?" Misaka asked looking almost sick.

Akise nodded his head looking serious.

Accelerator had his thoughts. "I knew that bitch was crazy then again...who am I to judge on that, I'm just as crazy as she is."

Itsuwa felt utterly scared yet disgusted. "Yuno...why could she keep such things in her yard?"

Kanzaki had her face lowered and her hair was covering her eyes seemingly shocked. "I knew...Yuno was a bit on the nutjob side, but, this..."

Tsuchimikado had a calm expression despite he was disgusted himself too. "Well, looks like Yuno has more secrets than I thought." He had one thing lingering at the back of his mind. "What about the third corpse, who is it, a twin sister of Yuno's...no, if that was the case, we might've met her in theory."

Orsola had other thoughts and recalled Yukiteru's on-edge behavior during the incident with Tsubaki. "Wait, Yukiteru was on edge during that time when we were investigating Tsubaki's cult. I wonder if he already stumbled upon the corpses."

Touma looked at Akise with a ticked-off face again. "Akise, why didn't you come and tell us about this from the start?"

Akise sighed deeply. "Look, I had to inform Yuki about this quickly because if Yuno caught wind of this then he would've been captured."

Touma's hands clenched tightly like he was ticked off which he was but probably more. "Still, there are numerous ways you could've gone about this...I mean...Yukiteru...Yuno..." He paused for a minute and took a deep breath looking down at the ground. "I suppose I should've expected something to happen from Yuno...I guess that you worried about Yuki as we were...but...still." He looked directly into Akise's eyes looking upset. "You should've come to us from the beginning and then perhaps Yuno wouldn't have taken Yuki hostage!"

Akise didn't react for a minute. "I do believe I might've made a hasty decision but, I was just doing what I wanted to warn Yukiteru in time but...I was able to find out what Yuno was hiding so it doesn't matter much." Touma scowled then rushed over to Akise and pulled him by the shirt.

"Kamijou!" Nishijima shouted in shock.

"You dumbass didn't ever occur to you that Yuno was with Yuki this entire time! If that did, then you shouldn't have sent that message instead you should've told us that we could've checked on Yuki ourselves without alerting Yuno!" Touma barked.

Misaka had to admit that her crush made a bit of a good point. "The idiot makes a good point, even if Yuno wasn't with Yuki, her Diary would've gotten the details."

Akise looked away. "I got too careless I admit that too. Although I thought I should've warned Yuki a little earlier but it seems I let my concerns get the better of me."

"Perhaps next time you should try to remember that..." Touma scolded.

Tsuchimikado placed his hand on his classmate's shoulder. "Take it easy, I understand your frustration toward Aru, but, taking your anger on him won't help Yuki or Yuno." Touma reluctantly backed off releasing Akise's shirt.

Nishijima took a deep breath relieved the tension was over. "Either way, I will gladly wait on the outside of the town while you kids look around the area."

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Kosaka asked with a shrug.

Hinata wasn't expecting to hear that from the classmate jerk. "Seriously?"

Kosaka nodded. "Y-yeah, I suppose I owe little wussy for helping us escape the bloodhounds."

Akise had one more thing to ask. "Touma, I was looking into the actions that you and your friends have done in the previous incidents and concluded that you kids have something that all of you are hiding."

The Academy City citizens went silent as tension came into the air.

Tsuchimikado remained calm suspecting this would happen sooner or later. "I take that you seem suspicious of us, am I right?"

Akise had a serious look on his face. "I won't arrest you guys or anything, I just have a feeling in my gut that there is more to you guys than meets the eye."

Kanzaki narrowed her eyes at the detective teenager. "Nothing gets past this guy."

Touma sighed deeply. "If you want some answers I suggest we wait until we get Yuki and Yuno back, they'll need to know about us just as much as you guys do."

Akise had no qualms with that request. "Very well, in exchange, I will allow you guys to look after Yuno for a while. After this stunt that Yuno has pulled, I get the feeling that Yuki will be more cautious around her."

Touma and the others had to admit that Akise made a good point. "Alright..." Touma spoke in agreement.

At the Sakurami Police Station.

Tsubaki was having a chat with Saten, Uiharu, Kikyou, Kuroko, and Index in the conference room.

"Now that Kurusu is gone, what Future Diary users will appear?" Kuroko inquired.

"Good question, so far we know the ones that aren't around anymore," Saten answered holding a notebook. "So far, 12th, 10th, 5th, 3rd, and 4th are...gone...that leaves Minene Uyuru, Yukiteru, Yuno, 7th, 11th, and 8th."

Index put her finger to her chin. "It's safe to assume that one of them is coming with a plan to attack." She had additional thoughts in her mind. "So far, we don't have much on these creatures that escaped the five stasis pods. Which means they could be in disguise as humans using transformation magic, though it seems impossible, I mean that kind of magic hasn't been around in centuries."

Kikyou was taking some notes on the events that happened so far including the investigations that being looked into recently. "So far these cases of what happened have been completed. However, it doesn't change the fact that we've hit a wall."

Uiharu was holding some reports on a sheet of paper. "I recalled so far of recent disappearances that happened in the resort town where Yuki and Yuno are supposedly." She looked scattered on the table where she was sitting. "Some family members called on some friends of theirs disappearing that went there for a little exploration or vacation. In the end, they never returned home."

"Wait, do you think Yuki and Yuno are in..." Saten began to say a hint of great concern in her voice.

Uiharu looked down sharing the same reaction. "I'm not sure, but, it's obvious whoever is responsible for these disappearances might have gotten their hands on Yuki and Yuno."

"Speaking of, Tsubaki, care to explain of what your opinion of Yuno Gasai?" Kikyou asked.

Tsubaki avoided eye contact for a minute before she looked at the other females. "I do think that Yuno will likely be the demise of Yukiteru."

Hearing that detail made the room feel tense. "C'mon, I know Yuno is a little on the crazy side, but, she wouldn't never hurt someone if she had a reason." Saten disagreed.

Tsubaki sighed. "You forget that she almost tried to kill Hinata out of jealousy and cautiousness." A serious expression was seen on her face. "You think she would kill someone even if she had a good reason? She's a girl that is sick in the head and a nutjob."

Kikyou clapped her hands. "That's enough..." She said getting the girls to look at her. "I understand your opinions and to be fair, I don't know Yuno much to give an opinion about her." A small smile on her face. "From what you guys described about her, it seems she's a girl who is lost in loneliness and despair. Probably like the other Diary Users that lost their way due to the tragedy and pain they had endured for so long."

Tsubaki looked at the woman for a second and looked up. "A lonely...and forgot their way..." She recalled that she and the cult were always dedicated to helping the people who lost their way of life.

"Hold on, Tsubaki, when you still living in your household, you were accompanied by two ladies. What were their names?"

Tsubaki realized what the middle school legend lover was implying. "I believe their names were Orin and Ai. They served me well, though, I haven't seen them both since Fanastu's arrest."

Uiharu had a theory. "It's unusual for me to come up with theories but, is it possible that two of those girls could be a Diary User?"

That question put everyone on their toes sort of speaking. "Good question, plus, Orin and Ai haven't seen since that day we took Tsubaki in." Index reminded.

Uiharu had an idea. "I'll look up some people with the name Ai. I'll be sure to look up that name and find something."

"Good idea, I'll order some pizza," Saten said walking out of the conference.

Index was hungry already. "Pizza!"

"Gee, you must be a black hole," Kuroko joked.

Chomp!~

Index started biting on the pig-tailed girl's head. "Ow...ow...cut that out, nun!" She retorted struggling to get the other girl off.

"She's energetic as always," Saten sweatdropped.

Kikyou just smiled at the girls at the scene before her. "Kids are high-spirited."

Tsubaki had never seen such odd behavior before, but, it was funny to watch causing her to let out a small giggle surprising herself. "Wow, I never giggled like that before."

In a random apartment

Marco was sitting on the couch. "To think that 4th finally kicked the bucket. Figures that old geezer would lose his life." He was reading a newspaper and something on the front page caught his attention. "Hmm, mysterious sightings in the mountains. Bah, I don't give a crap." She then looked at some cash on the table. "Teheheheh...with the cash I was able to buy a fancy car. To me, it's like a carriage to carry Ai and me for a ride on the highway I must admit that Yoshino knows how to over the loot. As long as I can bring in the dough I will be able to buy what I truly want."

Ai was outside on the porch talking to her comrade Orin. "I see, when shall we start?" She nodded her head after a few minutes. "Alright, what about Tsubaki, any sign of her?"

"No, it's like she's being held somewhere in the city," Orin replied. "But, I think she might be with 1st or with those unusual friends of his."

Ai put her hand on her chin. "That Kamijou kid does seem interesting." She recalled reading the newspaper about the 9th. "I haven't met any teenage boy like Kamijou." The image of Touma, 1st, and their friends confronting Tsubaki came to her mind. "Those kids are quite spirited, but, 1st is nothing but a weakling despite he does have some courage."

"Either way, I suggest you get ready in a few hours while Kamada prepares for your mission," Orin suggested. "Alright..." Ai nodded her head and hung up her phone.

B

Touma and the others walked down a road passing several buildings. "Crap, it's so quiet," Touma muttered.

"Don't get cold feet," Kosaka taunted.

Rustle

"Ahhh!" Kosaka yelped.

Caw Caw

A crow flew from a nearby bush which startled Kosaka.

"Sounds like to me Touma isn't the only one getting cold feet," Accelerator mocked with a sly grin which got Kosaka to glare at the white-haired teen.

Tsuchimikado was observing the buildings as well as the surrounding area. "It's quiet, but, that bird...it just flew out of nowhere. Was it because of our presence or...something else?"

Kanzaki felt some strong magic energy. "Strange, I sense magic energy but it's faint."

A small goblin grunt was looking down from a nearby shop using a telescope eyeing Kanzaki. "Slurp...slurp..." The monster licked his lips pervertedly at the human woman.

Itsuwa held her lance cautiously looking at old broken shops. "This old resort is deserted all right, but, what is this town still standing?" She figured that some were probably thinking of selling these buildings or tearing the whole place down.

Inside the old abandoned hotel basement's stairway.

Yoshino was walking down the stairs. "To think I would get the chance to have this fun with the lovely Yuno Gasai." His body began to change drastic change taking the form of a lizardman. He then glanced at the top of the stairs. "My pets guard the room, but, hid in the shadows in case any intruders sneak around." A reptile-like creature was peaking through the door at the top of the stairway letting out a small growl seemingly understanding his master's order.

On the second floor were about five goblins patrolling the rooms and hallway.

Further from the hotel, the gang was walking on the street.

"There are so many hotels, it could be any one of these," Hinata spoke.

Tsuchimikado was looking around knowing the 10th's daughter had a point. "Yeah, it could take the entire day or so to check them all out. That said, if one of them is the one where Yukiteru is being held, it could have traps set for us."

Accelerator didn't seem to care about the danger. "Then, let's stop wasting time chatting and find the hotel we need to search in."

Last Order had an idea. "Misaka Misaka has an idea while imagining a light bulb is above her head!" Before anyone could get a word out, Akise beat them to it. "Alright, enlighten us."

"I think if one of these hotels has some power running..." Last Order began

"Then, it should have running water..." Tsuchimikado added.

"And that's where Yukiteru is being held in," Akise concluded.

"What are we waiting for?" Kosaka questioned running off without thinking.

"Hold it, I haven't done the searching yet!" Last Order called out stopping the teen. She went quiet using her Misaka Network to find the hotel that had its power and after a minute or so. She opened her eyes and pointed at the big hotel. "That's it! That's the hotel where the power is still active points Misaka Misaka at the big hotel!"

Akise had to admit he was impressed but he was a little baffled. "Impressive, but, how did she find it without looking for the hotel with her eyes?" Tsuchmikado and Misaka noticed the puzzled expression on the teenage boy's face.

"C'mon, let's stop gawking and find Yuki and Yuno!" Touma was already running off as the others followed.

Orsola was having a bad feeling all of a sudden. "Something isn't right, if Yuno and Yuki's cell phone can see into the future, then why haven't they seen us coming?"

They came to a grand hotel that was bigger than the others in the town and entered the doorway leading them to the receptionist area.

"Man, this place is huge," Misaka said gazing at the space of the lobby area.

"Yeah, but, it's old and abandoned," Accelerator scoffed. "Frankly, it's a dump now."

"Man, talk about creepy," Mao whimpered a little.

"Listen up, it's clear there are a few floors in this hotel," Kanzaki said. "I suggest we split into three groups to split up."

Tsuchmikado had to agree. "Yes, it'll increase the chances of finding Yuki and Yuno quicker."

Akise saw no problem with that. "If that's the case, I'll take Hinata, Kosaka, Accelerator, Mao, and Last Order with me."

Kanzaki nodded. "Alright, Touma, Orsola, Itsuwa, you guys are with me." She pointed at an old map on the wall. "According to this map, there's a basement, so, we'll check down there first."

"Alright, I'll take Misaka and Misaki with me," Tsuchmikado said. "We'll check on the second floor, but, everyone be on your guard, we don't know what traps we might set off."

In the dark area of the lobby were two yellow glowing eyes. One of the small goblin grunts was watching them and quietly snuck away.

Yukiteru was still in the chair asleep. Selena was keeping an eye on the boy. "I have to admit he's so cute." She whispered as she walked over to him seductively. She caressed his left cheek with her right hand for a few seconds. "I can't hold back any longer..." She cupped both of the boy's cheeks with her left hand this time licking her lips. "I think it's time I play with him for a while, but nothing too much before going to the main course."

Knock Knock

"Ugh..." She moved away and looked toward the door. "What is it?"

The door opened to a small goblin grunt. "Milady, forgive my intrusion, but, the humans are here at the main lobby area. Although, they split into three groups." The goblin replied in a raspy voice.

Selene smirked. "I see, no matter, Yoshino is in the basement with our other prisoner, he'll take care of those meddling humans as for you guys, alert the other goblin troops at once but use telepathic. We don't want our unwanted guests to know that we're aware of their arrival." The small goblin nodded and closed the door.

Tsuchimikado walked up a staircase. "Care to explain, why we using the stairs?" Misaka asked. The question was referring to Tsuchimikado.

"The elevators could have traps in them, that said, if we did operate them, the cables might be loose..." Tsuchimikado answered. "Either way, we might want to stay close besides we don't what we might run into on the second floor."

Misaki was looking around and saw some cameras. "Those cameras are on, we can assume. If so, Yuno may be watching us."

They soon came to the second floor. "Damn, the hallway is so dark," Misaka said shivering a bit.

"Don't tell me the dark has you spooked," Misaki teased earning a glare from the Railgun Esper.

Tsuchimikado then spotted something moving in the hallway across to a room that was on the left side of the hallway. He walked down the hallway cautiously leaving the two teenage girls confused. "Tsuchimikado?" Misaka asked noticing the blonde looking at the almost dark hallway.

"I get the feeling we're not alone here," Tsuchimikado thought looking around the hallway and catching a faint glimpse of a camera. "Plus, I get the feeling we're being watched but not by Yuno."

Kanzaki's group went down a staircase too that lead to a basement bar. "Wow, a basement bar!" Itsuwa said in awe.

"Look over there," Touma pointed to a bowling area. "Looks like they do bowling in this place too."

Orsola looked around the area. "Yes, despite there's a little light, it sure looks dark."

"Let's search the place," Touma said walking ahead.

"Right, Orsola and Itsuwa, check the bowling area and Touma check the other side." The three teens nodded and went on their way.

Kanzaki noticed a camera hanging on the corner of the wall where they just entered. "Looks like Yuno might be watching us. Although, she hasn't led us into a trap or contacted to lure us into a trap." She couldn't help but feel like something was not right.

B

At the main lobby

Akise was checking out the receptionist's desk. "Hmm, nothing here, but old papers and dust on the counter." He had something on his mind. "That girl Last Order was able to locate the hotel that had power as I theorized. The question is, how did she find it without searching for it."

Mao and Hinata were checking the first-floor hallways with Kosaka. "Damn it, this is a creepy hallway." Mao whimpered.

Kosaka tried to open a hotel room but to no avail. "Damn it, these rooms are locked."

"Duh genius, the rooms can only be opened with a card key." Hinata pointed to the room's card key slot. "At this rate, it'll take us the whole day to search for Amano."

Mao looked ahead and saw something run off into a room that was open. "Hey, what was that?" She asked pointing a little spooked.

"What was what?" Hinata looked to see where her classmate was looking and noticed the open room. "Well, looks like one of the rooms is open."

Kosaka smirked. "Well, let's check it out." He was running like an idiot and entered the room.

Hinata couldn't believe it. "Idiot, don't go running off." She followed the cocky teenage boy with her classmate.

The two teenage girls entered the room but instead bumped into Kosaka, who was just standing still. "Ow, what the hell?" Hinata cursed her face hitting the back of Kosaka's head.

Mao looked ahead and her eyes widened as they saw a half-eaten woman, who had a shocked expression on her face. "Oh god, what could have done this?" Hinata asked.

"Isn't it obvious, Yuno the psycho did this!" Kosaka presumed holding back his disgust.

Mao was stunned almost on the verge of throwing up.

Hinata approached the corpse and crouched down in front of it despite the disgust she felt at the moment. "Yuno could've done this but..." She observed the body. "I might not be a doctor, but, the damage might've been done by an animal a big one." She recalled her father's dogs and remembered the damage that they had done to their victims. Although, she knew this wasn't the work of dogs at least that's what she was seeing so far on the body.

In a nearby room a cracked open door something was peeking at them. A low panting sound was heard from the room. Hinata seemingly heard this and caught a foul odor, but, it wasn't from the corpse abruptly standing up. Mao wasn't liking this. "Hinata...?"

Her crush was looking closely at the bathroom door and saw a glowing eye startling her. "Guys...let's get the door..."

"Rrrrgh!" A large canine-like beast busts down the bathroom door.

"AAAHHHHHHH!" The three teens screamed in horror.

Akise and his group turned in the direction they heard the scream. "What the hell..."

Accelerator gritted his teeth. "Damn it, looks like we found some enemies."

"Accelerator, save them!" Last Order yelled. "Misaka Misaka will be safe with Mr. Aru, so, save friends!"

The white albino teenage boy reluctantly had to agree to this. "Hey, detective geek! Keep an eye on the shrimp while I check in those idiots!" Akise nodded his head in response while the Vector Esper ran off in the hallway where the three teens went.

Tsuchimikado and his group overheard the scream. "That sounded like Hinata and the others from the first floor!" Misaka yelled in concern.

"Looks like they ran into trouble," Misaki added calmly.

Tsuchimikado heard faint footsteps coming their direction and the blonde teen looked to see a few small figures approaching them. "Guys...we got company..."

Misaka and Misaki turned and to their horror, they saw three small little goblins. "What in the hell..."

"Are those goblins?"

Tsuchimikado took out a pistol. "I would imagine they are." He preparing to load it. "You girls should stay back before you get hurt."

Misaka put her hand out as electricity surged around her hand. "I don't need to be protected by these monsters." Another thought was on her mind. "Still, I never thought goblins existed. Damn, Saten is going to have a field day about this."

Misaki had other thoughts. "These goblins aren't some illusions unless Yuno has created some holograms. No, from the look of things they look real and I doubt Yuno is the kind of person to hire help or use monsters for her crazy stunts." She took out a TV remote. "Either way, let's take these little freaks out."

The goblins lunged while snarling and wielding clubs and daggers.

Tsuchimikado fired a few bullets at the goblins' chest sending them on the floor in pain, but they were able to get back on her feet a little sooner.

"Their skin is tough though they are bleeding." The blonde spy teenager said with a smirk.

Misaki grinned. "I admit this should be fun taking out strong enemies."

"This isn't a game idiots!" Misaka retorted but she was in a mood to fight. "Although, I like a good fight."

Thud Thud Thud

The Hobgoblin appeared glaring viciously at the human teenagers. "Human...teenagers...located. Must eliminate for queen Selena."

Misaka was stunned. "Holy crap, it can talk..."

Tsuchimikado caught the name the goblin mentioned. "Queen Selena, I presume that this queen must be one of the creatures that escaped from those stasis pods."

Misaki checked out the goblin beast. "He looks well built. Those muscles could easily crush us if we aren't careful."

"Grunts...kill the flat chest human girl." The Hobogoblin ordered which earned an anime vein on Misaka's head upon hearing her being called "Chested teenage girl".

Misaki giggled. "Perfect..." She took out the television remote "Category 330...activate." She aimed the remote directly at the goblin champion and pressed a button.

The goblin champion froze for a second and grabbed hold of the goblin grunts by their heads. "Don't hurt human girl...she is cute!"

Tsuchimikado was impressed by the display. "Not bad..." He quickly moved forward and thrust the goblin in the stomach causing it the flinch a little.

"Zapper, take him out now!"

Misaka nodded and then noticed a small water bottle and hatched an idea. Picking up the water bottles she splashed as much water as she could on the goblin champion. "Water conducts electricity so stay back!" She gathered a strong electricity and released it at the goblin champion it was electrocuted along with the small goblin grunts as they roared in great pain.

M

Hinata was throwing pebbles at the hound beast but it didn't even flinch. "Damn it, what shall we do?"

Kosaka was bawling his eyes out. "Damn it...we're screwed...we'll be canine meat!"

"Stop whining!" Mao scowled despite she as scared as the teenage boy was.

Hinata took out a broken pipe and swung it at the canine beast but the monster caught her attack and tossed it aside. Then the wolf slapped her roughly in the face knocking her down on the floor.

"Hinata!" Mao shouted.

Kosaka looked around to find a weapon. "Damn it, I can't find a weapon...we're screwed..." He began to text on his cell phone. "Damn it, Mom and Dad, I won't be able to-" Suddenly he noticed something written on his entry. "Kosaka takes a small container of pepper and throws it on the canine beast's face blinding it" He noticed a small container of pepper. "Perfect!" He snatched it quickly and rushed at the wolf beast. "You hungry you big canine shithead! EAT THIS!" He poured the pepper at the wolf beast's face which got into his eyes blinding him and making him howl in pain.

Accelerator arrived just in time with Akise behind him. "Well, looks like I arrived in time." He put his hand out. "Time to play dead canine shit..." Blood spurt from the canine's body startling Mao and Kosaka as the wolf beast fell over on the floor dead sticking its tongue out.

"Wow, I'm glad that you guys are okay! Exclaims Misaka Misaka relieved that her friends are safe!" Last Order chanted.

Hinata was sitting up. "Damn, what happened?" Mao hugged her without a second thought. "Hinata, you're okay!" However, instead of her arms being wrapped around Hinata's waist, her hands are on her breasts groping them.

"Idiot, this isn't the time!" The other teenage girl retorted comically.

Kosaka stood up. "Guys, I'm a Diary User and appreciate one!" He held up his cell phone.

Hinata looked at it. "Holy crap, you're right, how did that happen?"

"I don't know, I was texting my parents when I read this entry." Kosaka showed the entry of how he was able to stun the wolf beast.

Akise approached the dead wolf beast. "Is this a werewolf or something, how strange is that?"

Kosaka didn't care about that. "Who cares, the important thing is that it's dead."

Akise then looked at Accelerator. "That beast dies the moment Accelerator arrives, what did he do exactly?"

Hinata was walking toward the room's doorway. "C'mon, let's stop gawking and find the others on the second floor!"

Akise continued to stare at Accelerator and came up with a suggestion. "Hinata, you, Kosaka, and Mao go on ahead and take Last Order with you." The four were puzzled. "I need to speak to Accelerator alone."

The white-haired esper was puzzled at the sudden words. Hinata nodded her head reculantly and left with Mao, Kosaka, and Last Order following her.

"Accelerator, I saw what happened and so far I can see that you're capable of killing someone without a second thought," Akise commented with a small smile. "Honestly, whatever you did was unique and ruthless."

Accelerator was getting tired of the detective's comments. "Look, we got things to do in this dump so get to the point." Despite the rude reply, Akise's smile didn't leave his face. "I have a request for you."

Back in the basement.

Yoshino transformed into his human form. "To think I would get this chance with this human girl." He took off his shirt. "Yuno Gasai." He felt a faint presence outside the room. "Looks like our guests have arrived." He then closed his eyes as he was communicating with a few certain reptile-like creatures which were velociraptors. "Hiss...hiss..." One of them hissed viciously and was bigger than the others with a pointy spiny on the back of its head. "Master Yoshino is calling us." Moved its head to where it was feeling the call from its leader.

Kanzaki halted her feet as she felt danger coming. "Guys, I think we have company coming our way!"

Itsuwa prepared to take her lance. "Time to fight!"

Orsola looked toward the direction of the staircase they came from and barraging in was three velociraptors snarling viciously at them.

Touma was stunned. "Holy crap, are those what I think they are?"

"Velociraptors...how are those things here?" Orsola questioned in disbelief.

Yoshino was overhearing the commotion. "Those foolish humans don't realize thanks to Vivian's magic was able to resurrect living dinosaurs using the DNA she collected from the middle school's lab and using the iguanas I stole from a nearby pet store to combine the DNA with them to recreate them." He then walked toward the table that Yuno was pinned on as he caressed her cheek. "Such a cute little face you have Yuno Gasai."

Surprisingly, Yuno began to wake her eyes. "Yuki...Yuki...is that you?" Her eyes fully opened and to her shock, she wasn't looking at Yuki. "No...you're not-" Yoshino's hand covered her mouth which had a smirk on his face. "Oh, your wussy boyfriend isn't here at the moment. Although it won't matter, my comrades are taking care of him."

The teenage Future Diary user's eyes widened with confusion and worry which Yoshino noticed. "Don't worry, he won't suffer too much unless he's already dead." Hearing that made Yuno panic and struggle to get loose only to find out she was pinned to the table with ropes tied around her wrists and ankles. "To think I would get such a beautiful species like you in my capable hands." He licked his lips perverted. "Time for the fun to begin."

Yuno manages to move her mouth a little from Yoshino's hand and bit his finger causing him to move away holding his hand in pain. "Damn...it!" He cursed.

"HELP ME! YUKITERU AMANO,MY LOVE!"

Touma turned to the scream of Yuno's voice and saw the other door. "Guys, I believe Yuno is that other room that we haven't looked in yet!" The girls looked at him. "Listen, go and deal with this guys while I go and rescue Yuno."

Orsola thought that wasn't a good idea. "Wait, you don't know what enemy is with Yuno!"

"She's right, let me lend you a hand!" Itsuwa suggested.

"Don't worry about me, I can handle this, just keep these guys busy and knock them out once you do reunite with me in the room!" Touma assured with a serious look on his face.

Orsola looked for a second until she nodded her head. "Alright, go on, we'll handle these guys."

Tsuchimikado, Misaka, and Misaki were already getting to the top floor and making their way through the dark hallway.

"Damn it, it seems the electricity is going to go out soon," Misaka cursed.

"Don't tell me that you're scared of the dark," Misaki teased with a smirk.

Misaka turned her to the model girl. "Hey, don't mock me, you idiot!"

Tsuchimikado noticed three goblins coming their way. "Guys, we got more company!" He noticed one of them was wearing a mage outfit. "That outfit...wait, is it..."

"Radius...Firebolt!" A flaming bolt of fire was shot at the kids.

Misaka created an iron sand whip using old debris around the hallway and slashed the fireball in half but the flames spread throughout the hallway. One of the flames caused a light bulb to burn out spreading more flames in the hallway.

"Crap, that ain't good!" The railgun saw the situation get worse.

Tsuchimikado took out his pistol and took a few shots at the goblin shaman. A magic barrier was formed by the goblin mage and the bullets that were shot at it bounced off. "Crap, a magic barrier!"

Misaki knew her Mental stability wouldn't be much help now. "At this rate, we're pretty concerned."

"Idiots, stop gawking like that and move it!" Accelerator rushed past the teens and stomped his foot creating a light tremor causing the goblins to fall over.

"Shoot them down!"

Tsuchimikado took his pistol and shot the goblins in the heads killing them instantly. "This is going to get Kamijou on my butt, but, he'll understand I hope." He then looked at the others.

"Besides that, where have you been?" Misaka asked. "And where are Hinata, Mao, and Kosaka?"

"The three went outside while we handled this," Akise answered. "Last Order is with them."

"Anyway, let's get going, I think it's safe to assume that the goblins are gone for now," Tsuchimikado said. "Surely, Yuki is on the top of the floor somewhere."

B

Touma was running through a dark hallway barely any light. "Damn it, whoever is here must've wanted to keep this place dark so they can attack their enemies from the shadows." He kept running through until he came to a door and attempted to open it only to find out it was locked. "It's locked...damn." He tackled against the door but the moment he did he felt a strong electric force stun his body but thanks to his right hand he barely felt a thing.

"A protected barrier and from the look of things it was done by a magic user or something." He lifted his right hand and punched it shattering the barrier. "Good, I need to open it now!" He pulled the doorknob as hard as he could but to no avail. "This isn't working..." He noticed a pipe on the floor but it was old and rusty. "Gross, this pipe is rusty but it'll have to do for now." He banged the pipe on the doorknob which broke it off opening the door. He came across a staircase leading him to the center of the room and saw Yuno Gasai tied to the pool table. "Yuno!"

"Not so fast..." A voice came from the dark corner of the room. "I think you should be careful not to do anything that would endanger your friend."

"Show yourself!" Touma demanded.

No answer came which tried the high school boy's patience. "Hey, I told whoever is here to show yourself now!"

"My, quite the balls you must have unlike a certain first diary user..." Yoshino appeared in his Lizardman form.

Hearing the description of the first diary user piqued Touma's curiosity but more like concern. "Where is Yuki, what have you done with him!?"

Yoshino smirked with a darkened expression. "I think you should be worrying about yourselves. You'll have to beat me unless you want to rescue Yuno and Yuki."

Touma glared at the lizardman. "If that's what you want, then I shall accept the terms." Yoshino was impressed with the courage the boy was displaying. "You got more balls than I thought, though, why do you want to save this crazy psycho girl, she's quite dangerous when she's pissed off, what do you get out of it of helping some human girl-"

"Stop talking..." Touma's voice halted Yoshino's speech. "I don't need a reason to help a friend even if she is crazy." Yuno was opening her eyes faintly Touma's voice and looking at him. "That said, I think Yuki would be heartbroken if he lost a friend despite whatever she did."

"You honestly believe that," Yoshino laughed almost amused by the high school boy's words. "I can tell that snot nose human wussy isn't quite trusting Gasai and I think you know that more than anyone!" He then eyed at Yuno. "However, I admire her psycho and dangerous behavior. I can be like that too especially toying with my victims."

Touma was disgusted at the words leaving the lizardman's mouth. "You think toying with humans is a game to you!" His glare became more darkened. "I make sure that you will not lay a finger on Yuki or Yuno while my friends and I are here!" He rushed at the lizardman pulling back his right hand.

To his surprise, the lizardman caught his hand with his left hand. "Nice try."

SHATTER~!

Yoshino felt a strange force hit him from the hand causing his magic to weaken and hearing the sound of shattering glass echoed throughout the room. "What the hell was that?" He questioned.

Wasting no time, Touma threw his right hand once more slamming into the lizardman's stomach. He barely pushed him back but he felt a slight pain through his stomach. "Quite the right hand you got, too bad it wasn't strong enough due to your scrawny body." Yoshino swung his tail sending the high school boy flying into the wall landing on his butt in pain.

"Talk about weak, I was hoping you would put up more of a fight but humans are such fragile creatures breaking easily like glass." Yoshino taunted with a smirk on his face. "If you promise to leave us alone then you'll be free to go and I'll call off my pets too."

Touma heard this as he lifted his head looking at his enemy. "So, what will it be human boy?" His enemy asked.

A few seconds went by assuming that Yoshino got his answer. "Well, then you should-"

"Shut up..." Touma spoke getting the tall lizardman to stop. "If you think I'm just going to walk away from this fight just because I'm too weak or not much of a fighter, then you've got another thing coming..." He slowly stood grabbing something in his left hand without his enemy noticing. "I will not back down from helping a friend that needs rescuing."

Yuno was almost fainting away due to sleepiness. "Touma..." She unexpectedly felt her heartbeat.

"So you take your offer and shove it up your reptile butt!" He tossed a small piece of wood at the lizardman's face catching him off guard. The piece of wood struck him in the face slightly phasing him.

"Argghhhh!" The lizardman groaned covering his face with his reptile humanoid hands.

"I will take whatever illusion that's going through your head and shatter it to pieces!" Touma stated as he rushed at the enemy pulling back his right arm with all his might and slamming his fist right into the monster's chest.

SHATTER~!

Once again the sound of glass shattering was heard and weakened the lizardman's power. "Damn you..." He managed to his balance on the check and used his tail to grab Touma by his stomach. "Take this!" He slammed his tail with Touma still wrapped it onto the floor with a powerful thud. Touma coughed out blood due to the impact.

Yuno was slowly sitting up as she saw Touma's situation. "He's hurting..." She recalled the days he talked to her. "He's an idiot...but, he's got more courage..." She then looked around frantically. "Where is Yuki?"

Touma still wrapped in the lizardman's tail pulled him to his face. "Well, looks like this is the end of the road for you human boy." He chuckled evilly. "I will enjoy taking your head and delivering it to the professor."

"Heh..." A weak laugh was heard from Touma. "I won't die...because like I said before, I will shatter whatever illusion is going through your mind!" He punched the lizardman right in the eye causing another shattering glass sound a third time. The impact of the boy's right fist released him from the lizardman's tail.

Yoshino fell on his butt rubbing his eye that was just struck. "Damn it you human scumbag!" Before he could stand back up he saw Touma rushing at him with his fist midswing. "I will end this now!" Yoshino was struck in the cheek causing him to fall on his back bumping his head on the wall and knocking him out instantly.

Touma saw his enemy lay unconscious for a while before he saw Yuno sitting up. "Are you okay Yuno-" He froze when he saw that the stalker was half-naked wearing a white bra and panties. "Yuno, you're...not...wearing..."

"Touma, what is this?" The boy looked to see Kanzaki, Orsola, and Itsuwa at the bottom of the staircase with gawking expressions. "Why the hell is she half-naked?"

"It wasn't me I swear!" Touma defended.

Kanzaki sighed. "I guess it can't be helped, but, we should give her some extra clothes just to be sure her half-naked body doesn't draw unwanted attention.

Touma was relieved but he knew the priestess was right and took off his shirt. "Here, Yuno you wear this for now." The pink-haired middle school girl was stunned but reluctantly took it.

Itsuwa was envious that the boy she had a crush on was lending his shirt to the girl who was a stalker.

"Ahem..." Orsola cleared her throat getting the other's attention. "I suggest we leave this place before that lizardman wakes up."

"Wait, what about the velociraptors?" Touma asked.

"Don't worry, we took care of them," Itsuwa assured.

On the top floor.

Akise, Tsuchimikado, Misaka, Accelerator, and Misaki were running through the dark hallway.

"So far, no more goblins," Misaka stated.

"True, but, I get the feeling that we're not alone," Misaki added looking around the hallway cautiously.

"Rrrrgh!" A vicious snarl was heard from a hotel room and a large velociraptor poked its head out of the room and rushed at the teens.

"Look out!" Misaka threw her arm sending a jolt of electricity at the dinosaur stunning it.

Accelerator put his hand out and blood spurt out of the dinosaur's body causing it to collapse on the floor dead.

Misaka was utterly disgusted but she had to let it go for now. "C'mon, let's keep going!"

"Not so fast human brats..." Three goblins appeared from another hotel room on the left, one was wielding twin swords and it was tall, the second was holding a wooden club with spikes, and the last was wearing a mage outfit. "We won't let you interrupt our queen's task."

Misaka glared at the three little monsters. "We don't care about your queen's task, let us by so we can rescue our friend Yuki!"

"Stupid girl, you are in a position to make demands!" The goblin-wielding twin swords rushed at the teens.

Misaka quickly gathered more iron sand and wielded two iron sand swords. "Got ya!" She smirked.

The goblin holding a wooden club rushed at the brown-haired girl. "Look out!" Tsuchimikado called.

Bang

The goblin was shot in the shoulder causing it to stumble back a few inches away. "Damn...you."

"Lightning of the storm...Lightning Strike!" Lightning was gathered above the teens and struck downward.

Misaka pushed the twin sword-wielding goblin away tossed her iron blades aside and released her electricity at the other electric attack blocking but was sent skidding down the hallway. "Damn it, this attack is strong." She mumbled. The attack was over, but, she was nearly brought to her knees.

Akise saw a pipe next to the goblin mage and had an idea. "Tsuchimikado, I have an idea, so listen carefully." The other teen nodded.

Misaki looked at her bag of remotes. "This isn't good, my remotes might not work on them. Even if I do, that goblin mage might strike us again."

"Guys, take cover!" Akise warned as he threw a large piece of rumble in his hand and tossed it at a nearby pipe breaking from the impact which began to leak out gas.

Tscuhimikado took out the pistol. "This will be risky..." He aimed at the pipe and...

KABOOM~!

The teens ducked through a nearby room shutting the door as the explosion went through the entire hallway shaking the hotel.

After the explosion and shaking upsided, the teens looked back at the hallway seeing the goblins were blown leaving only a few remains of their bodies. "Let's move on..." Tsuchimikado ran ahead with the others following.

They soon came to the room and opened it, their shock they saw Yuno with Yuki holding a knife to his neck. "Don't move...I hate to accidentally cut my beloved's neck!" Yuno warned threatenly.

Akise glared at the girl but didn't say a word.

Accelerator narrowed his eyes and wanted to use his ability but he felt a hand on his shoulder which belonged to Tsuchimikado, who shook his head motioning him to stand down.

Misaki was suspicious about something. "Something isn't right here, Yuno might be crazy but she doesn't seem like someone that would threaten to kill Yuki."

"Listen if you want Yuki to live then you and your friends will leave quietly without a word. Tell the police to back off so that we can live in peace." Yuno declared holding the knife to her crush's neck.

"If you're Yuno, where is your Diary?" Tsuchimikado questioned getting the others' attention.

The Yuno in front of the other teens froze on the spot. "I would assume that you would use your Diary to see what can help you get out of the situation, but, you don't seem to have it not even on those monitor control panel unless you're hiding somewhere."

"Here it is..." Yuno was holding a green cell phone.

Akise saw it and noticed something odd. "I believe Tsuchimikado has a point, if you are Yuno then why don't you have your Diary?"

A creepy smirk took shape on Yuno's face as steam began to emit from her body and change drastically as her body revealed her true form. "I see that Academy City has humans that are bright after all."

Akise was stunned for once. "She's not human." Noticing her goblin-like appearance. "She's a goblin but she's different looking from the ones we killed."

Tsuchimikado had a good idea who the goblin woman was. "I take it that you're one of the creatures that were in those five stasis pods, I presume?"

"You presume correctly," Selena replied. "I am Selena Queen of the Goblins. As you can see I'm a hybrid too."

"A hybrid..." Miksai thought in question. "Does that mean she's part human as well?"

Akise had a question. "Lady, what did you kidnap Yuki?"

"And Yuno?" Tsuchimikado added.

Selena giggled playfully. "Oh, I was just luring those two lovebirds into a trap. I ambushed them somewhere out of the city where their bus stopped."

"I also take it that you're involved with those disappearances including the murder of those male teenagers," Akise stated. "Including the disappearance of Detective Natsuko."

"Yes, I hooked up with those lowly humans to breed my goblin army." That detail shocked the teens to their core minus Akise. "As for this police detective, she's no more. Her flesh was fed to those prehistoric pets."

"She bred with male humans to give birth to her goblin...army..." Misaki muttered almost feeling sick to her stomach.

"Does that mean Natsuko was raped too?" Misaka thought to herself still feeling icky. "However, if she was in disguise as Yuno all this time, where is the real Yuno?

"As for those disappearances around here," Selena began to say with a creepy smile on her face. "That was just a minor setback, I couldn't let those humans find out about this place being taken over by goblins so I had to silence them."

Accelerator had a question of his own. "If you hooked up with those other teens, why didn't you do when you had little wussy over there?"

Selena went silent quickly as her eyes were being covered by the almost darkness of the room.

"Either way, it doesn't matter, we'll be taking Yuki back with us," Akise said almost threatening.

Selena had a darkened look on her face. "If you want him..." She tossed the knife aside and started to crack her knuckles. "Then take him by force."

Tsuchimikado then had an idea and whispered something in Akise's ear for a few seconds and Akise went to whisper in Accelerator's ear. The three nodded at each other knowing the plan. "Misaki...get ready..."

Tsuchimikado rushed at the goblin girl and aimed his pistol only it shot out nothing. "Fool..." Selena muttered amusingly.

"Wrong..." After those words left Tsuchimikado's mouth, the goblin queen narrowed her eyes in confusion.

Akise took out his pistol and shot the monitor's screens causing them to shatter causing a small minor explosion from the glass that went flying at the goblin girl. Shielding her body with her arms as some glass shards went into her legs and arms.

Accelerator placed his hand on a wooden stool and sent it flying at Selena's head hard as she fell over on the hard floor.

Misaka used her Esper to enchance her feet and rushed at the goblin hybrid with such speed that she gathered what energy she had in her left arm and punched the goblin girl in the chest sending her crashing into the wall.

Misaki took out her remote and approached the enemy. "Where is the key to the boy's chains?"

"Over there..." Selena pointed at the monitor's control panel and there was a small box with a key inside. "Got it!" She quickly put the key in the slot to the chain and unlocked the shackles. She helped Yuki on his feet who was still unconscious by lifting him up by his arms and Akise assisted.

Tsuchimikado had a question. "Lady, where is Yuno?"

Selena smirked at the question. "Oh you mean the psycho stalker, she's getting the royal treatment."

"What do you mean by that?" Tsuchimikado asked having a bad feeling.

Accelerator scoffed. "Forget, knowing the hero, he probably has found her by now." Hearing that thought made Akise look a little troubled.

"Anyway, what should we do with her?" Misaki asked.

Akise was considering that. "We could take her to the station for questioning and the second option is to kill her right now."

"Kill me..." A faint chuckle which turned into a cackle came from Selena. "You think after getting that cutie back means I'm going to let you go. I want to see if you can survive this." She took out a switch and pressed it.

Soon the hotel began to shake violently.

"Oh crap, she set off a bomb!" Tsuchimikado said despite being calm.

Akise just smiled though he was troubled. "This is going to be a pain in the ass."

Selena stood up and opened a portal. "I suggest you get out of here soon, the hotel will remain standing only for eight more minutes." With that, she leaped into the portal and vanished.

"C'mon morons! Let's blow this joint!" Accelerator stated.

"Don't need to tell me twice!" Tsuchimikado ran out of the room.

Misaki and Akise helped carry Yukiteru out.

Misaka took hold of Yukiteru's cell phone and followed the others.

Touma and the others were just arriving outside when they heard the hotel starting to fall apart. "Damn it, the others are still inside there!"

Yuno was barely conscious but she was able to use some energy to look at her cell phone's entry. "Yukiteru is rescued but he and the others are still inside. They will die the moment they reach the first floor" She wasn't going to let Yuki die and began to send a message to Yukiteru's cell phone.

Akise heard Yukiteru's cell phone ding and read the entry and for once he had a look of surprise. "Well, I didn't expect this." He looked at the others. "Change of plan, I think I know another way to leave this floor." They came to the hotel bedroom and two big broken windows.

"Do you think we should use that to get out?" Accelerator questioned.

"Unless you got a better idea," Akise answered.

Tsuchimikado found four old parachutes on the floor. "If we can use these help us get down."

Misaki noticed there was a balcony too. "We can use the balcony to jump off, but, there are only three parachutes."

"I got Yuki," Misaka said carrying him on her back. "With my esper, I can walk down the building."

Akise felt somewhat jealous but didn't say a word.

The shaking soon got worse. "C'mon, you idiots!" Accelerator demanded impatiently.

Misaki, Tsuchimikado, Akise, and Accelerator jumped out of the window with the four parachutes.

Misaka ran down the building as fast as she could while carrying Yuki. "This is embarrassing..."

As they got down safely, they reunited with the others as the entire hotel collapsed leaving a large dirt cloud and the ground shook violently.

They reunited with Nishijima was talking to Aiho, who just arrived a short time ego and it was sunset too.

Yukiteru was taken in the vehicle that belonged to Nishjima while Yuno got a ride with Aiho and the academy city students.

Yukiteru started to wake up as he saw Nishijima. "Nishijima...guys, what happened?"

Akise placed his hand on the boy's shoulder. "We'll explain everything later."

"Where is Yuno?" Yuki asked.

"You'll get your questions later, but, I think you won't like the answers," Hinata answered.

Tsuchimikado and Touma were having a discussion. "So, there was a lizardman in the basement with Yuno, right?"

"Yeah, from what I heard he's got magic power too. He's not a pushover, I barely survived but thanks to my Imagine Breaker I was able to stop him."

"Did you get his name?" Orsola asked.

"No, I didn't get the chance," Touma frowned.

"Crap, but, we do know he's one of the creatures that was in that ancient island domain as the goblin girl the others encountered," Kanzaki said. "The question is, what are they planning to do in this world?"

"We do know they're not Diary Users," Itsuwa clarified . "Plus, Kosaka got his Diary powers somehow, I mean they just came out of nowhere on his cell phone."

"Strange, do things like that happen often?" Misaki questioned.

"We should worry about that later and watch over Yuno at our apartment," Touma said looking at the sleeping Yuno. "I just hope the next time we do this it won't end up with bloodshed."

Tsuchimikado had something else on his mind about Selena. "That goblin girl Selena. She was the one that hooked up with those other male teenagers and yet she didn't even try to do it with Yukiteru. She could've done it while she had the chance but...he wasn't even touched." He put his finger to chin in wonder. "Perhaps she was toying with him. No, there's got to more to her character. What surprises that she can transform into other people like Yuno. Must be transformation magic."

A passing vehicle drove by showing two adults and a bodyguard wearing goggles and a white getup.

"Who was that?" Mao asked.

"I get the feeling we shouldn't find out at the moment," Akise advised. "For now, let's get back to the city."

"Should we follow them?" Ai asked.

"Not now, we'll let them off the hook for now," Marco answered. "In the meantime, let's head back to town and plan our next attack."

Selena and some of her surviving goblin army met up in the forest with Yoshino. "It seems the Academy City bastards are more forminable than we thought." Selena said rubbing her head.

Yoshino had a smirk on his face. "Yes, we will have our work cut out for us. By the way, where is Vivian and Vector?"

"Vector is meeting up with 8th right now," Selena replied. "As for Vivian, she went to talk with Muru Muru about an important matter."

In the Cathedral of Causality.

DEUS was asleep.

Muru Muru was given Vivian a tour through a strange mysterious tunnel that connected to the Cathedral. "To think that someone like you was able to bring back extinct animals. Quite impressive, but, I must ask can you do more than that?"

Vivian giggled with a smirk on her face. "Yes, I believe I can after all, my race were experts on science and technology even when I was asleep when the professor found me and the others I learned quite a few things during those past many years that high tech was created."

Muru Muru smiled widely like she was becoming more intrigued. "I see, what do you have in mind?"

Vivian's smirk widened even more as her eyes darkened. "Let me ask you something important about this game, when Diary users die what happens to their bodies and what do they go?" Muru Muru smiled widely even more. "You want to know that, well, that depends if you and your pals can keep specific details hidden for the time being."

I gave some of the goblins to talk like a human. Yoshino is able to communicate with reptiles like dinosaurs telepathy considering he's part reptile too.

As for Muru Muru, what is she planning to do with Vivian and what the evil diva scientist planning to do next, in due time.
