Chapter 15: 7th's Wrath Part 2: Friendship vs Love
In the cathedral.
Inside the basement
In the old library computer room, her canine beasts were chained while on the other side were two velociraptors. Each was hungry.
Vivian was in the pastor's office. In the middle of the room was a recovery table. There was an android-like body. "Thanks to the old tech within the island domain I was gather some useful equipment. Thank goodness, I did, now I can create something more powerful." She had a flash drive. "Thanks to the data I gathered from the Araska Tunnels, I'm about to create a new toy to make this Survival Game more entertaining."
Nearby was the forest and on a large rock was Selena. She was sitting on it looking at the sky seemingly lost in thought. "..." An image of Yukiteru popped into her head. "Damn it, why am I thinking about that human twerp?" Another flashing image popped into her head only this time it was a young teenage boy resembling Yukiteru but looked braver and strong wearing light armor and wielding a sword. "Crap, I need to get my head out of the clouds."
"My queen..." A small goblin grunt approached her from down below the rock. "Muru Muru would like to see you."
"Hello there," Muru Muru had a wide innocent smile. "I would like to ask for a favor considering."
At the Kosaka's mansion.
Yuno held up her knife. "I will protect my beloved from harm." She declared glaring at the two adults.
Marco and Ai had no qualms with that. "Fair enough, we don't mind taking you out first." Before the two teenagers realized it the two adults began to make out in front of them with sloppy kisses.
"Hey 1st, do you believe in the power of Love?" Marco held his Diary in his hand. "My Diary is for the sake of protecting Ai!"
Ai held up her Diary. "My Diary is for the sake of protecting Marco. It always observes him."
The two adults clapped their hands together. "In other words, Our Exchange Diaries are the Making of the Love Love Diary!"
"Congrats...I guess," Yukiteru said dumbfounded.
"Don't you get it, this is a battle between lovers. A tag battle as you might say," Marco declared. "The power of love will decide the victors and the losers!"
Ai didn't waste time and threw a knife at Yuki. Yuno deflected the knife with ease. "Don't throw knives at my man!" Yukiteru was astonished as it was the first time he noticed that. "Wow, that was amazing." Yuno glanced at him for a second and smiled happily.
Marco and Ai were stunned for a second. "Just luck, try again, Ai!"
The older woman did so only she threw two knives. However, to her shock as well as her boyfriend, Yuno deflected the two knives. "Yuki said I was amazing..." She thought happily.
"No way..." Marco stuttered in awe.
"How many knives?!" Ai threw countless knives as she could but Yuno kept deflecting.
"Wow, keep it up Yuno!" Yukiteru cheered.
"Damn it, she's quick with that knife!" Marco cursed.
"Hey my love, I'm out of knives." Ai took a few steps back almost panicked.
The front entrance was Kuroko, she was sneaking inside without any other enemies noticing. She came across unconscious Nishjima and an officer. "Crap looks like they took a hit." She put her hands on them and teleported them away back to Aiho's vehicle. "These guys have minor injuries but nothing fatal."
"Good job," Aiho praised. "Go search find Tsuchimikado, I'm sure he's with Akise and Kosaka." The pigtailed girl nodded and teleported away.

Yuno held up her knife pointing at the two adults. "Yuki praised me, that makes me so happy." She rushed at the two adults.
"In that case, our Last Resort!" Marco declared. "Re-treat!" In a flash, they jumped down the attic door just as Yuno took a swing with her knife."
Yukiteru looked at where Hinata and Mao were, only they weren't on the floor. "Hey, where is Hinata and Mao?"
"Not sure, but, I'm sure they're fine," Yuno answered. "Let's get out of here before they return."
"I better inform Touma so he can inform his group." Yukiteru began to write a message.
Touma and his group continued to fight the mysterious hooded-cloaked strangers.
"This is a pain," Accelerator activated his blood manipulation and killed five of the enemies.
"Accelerator!" Touma exclaimed.
"What, the enemies need to be taken down. Besides, besides they're not worthy opponents!" Accelerator argued.
"You two, less arguing and more fighting!" Misaka electrocuted a cloaked figure wielding a sword and the enemy fell over.
"So far five are dead...while one is knocked out," Itsuwa stated as the enemy tried to whack them in the head with a wooden club.
Touma delivered a punch in the enemy's side causing him to take a knee.
Seeing her chance, Itsuwa slashed the enemy's cloak with her lance as the stranger fell on their back. "Thank you, Touma." She said with a sweet smile. Touma's face went bright red rubbing the back of his head. "Uh...your welcome."
Misaka felt jealous of the way the two were looking at each other.
KABOOM
The entire house was in flames. "Ta had us torch the place, Ai, let's book it."
"Yes, but, what about the others?" Ai asked.
"No worries. We can deal with the first and second, unlike us; their love is nothing more than pretend, " Marco replied confidently.
"Damn it, as if the situation couldn't get any worse!" Itsuwa exclaimed.
"Are Yuki and Yuno still inside?" Touma asked.
"We should get inside right away," Misaka suggested clearly worried.
"Not so fast..." There was Vector in his demon form, though, he was clearly unrecognizable. "I can't let you interfere,
Taoru was hiding on tree branch. "Looks like the plan is in motion, I'll leave it to." He turned to see Kanzaki. "Who the hell are you?" He took out a pocket knife and prepared to make a move.
"I'm someone that's going to need to get some information out of you," Kanzaki gave the teenage goggle-wearing boy a slight glare. "Either that, or I can just come at you." Taoru felt drops of sweat dripping down his forehead. "Who is this woman?"
Yuno and Yuki were still running through the hallway noticing the flames. "Crap, did 8th's followers start this inferno?"
"It would see so,"

The flames still continued to burn while the last of the mysterious attackers were knocked out while the others were dead, mostly by Accelerator's power. "To think these losers were supposed to be 8th's followers."
Itsuwa didn't know but she was sensing something strange from the enemies. She approached one of them and crouched down carefully lifting the hood off and revealing a goblin-like hybrid. Itsuwa let out a small gasp as the others did expect for Accelerator.
"Whoa, is that goblin?" Itsuwa asked.
"No, it's a cross between a goblin and human...a hybrid," Misaka theorized. "I'm not a scientist but that's only the theory I can come up with."
Accelerator tapped the creature's head. "It doesn't matter since it's dead."
"Never mind that, we should get inside and rescue Yuki and Yuno!" Touma yelled.
"Oh damn...it seems that Vivian's creations weren't worth it after all." A voice said as Vector in his demon form appeared before the human teenagers.
"Just what the hell are you?" Misaka asked.
"I'm the last person that you guys are going to see," Vector said with a menacing smile on his face.
Itsuwa could tell this new enemy wasn't a pushover but that's not what crossed her mind. "I take it that you're one of those creatures that was in those stasis pods, am I right?"
"Maybe...but, for now, I have to keep your losers stalled for the time being," Vector replied.
Touma realized what the enemy was talking about. "Wait...is he talking about..." Realizing that Yukiteru and Yuno were still in danger besides the fire. He quickly took out his cell phone and texted Tsuchimikado a message. "I hope he gets it in time."
Misaka had the same idea and texted Kuroko right away. "Itsuwa and Accelerator, can you two hold this guy off for a while?"
"Wait, what do you mean by that?" Itsuwa asked.
"She means she and I are going to go inside to rescue Yuki and Yuno from the fire!" Touma answered. "You guys keep this guy busy as much as you can!"
Itsuwa was concerned about Touma and Misaka, but, she could see they had their mind made up. "Very well, but, come back safely you two."
The two teenagers nodded and ran off.
Vector didn't try to stop them as he looked at the two remaining teenagers. "Well, this should be fun taking on a strong magician and Esper."
"I'll have you know that I was the Top dog in Academy City," Accelerator boasted confidently.
Itsuwa pointed her lance at the demon-like creature. "I won't allow you to harm the boy that I owe greatly for helping my friends."
"Aw isn't that sweet, the magician girl has a crush on an Esper," Vector mocked with cold stare. "Well, I couldn't care less as long I get a good fight!"
At Aiho's vehicle, Kuroko had Hinata and Mao with her and brought them the others. "Aiho, call the ambulance right away. Their wounds aren't much but still they medical attention!"
"Right!" Aiho took out her phone.
"Saten, Uiharu, keep an eye on the others, I'll continue looking for any of our friends and get them back here as quickly as I can!" Kuroko ordered her classmates.
"Right!" Saten and Uiharu saluted.
B
Yukiteru and Yuno continued to run through the hallway as they were closing in on the staircase. "Those two are dangerous...if Yuno hadn't saved me I would be dead...still, can I count on her again?" Before he knew it, Touma and Tschimikado's advice echoed in his mind.
"I know Yuno's actions made you uneasy than ever, but, you can't run away from your problems!"
"You need to be a man and face your problems, if you don't you won't be able to get out of the fear that's holding you back."
"Touma...Tsuchimikado, I think they're right. I might not trust Yuno fully yet, but the least I can do is give her this chance."
Yuno glanced at him getting the timid boy to flinch slightly, until he noticed her smiling innocently. "It's okay...to use me. Just say the words "Go protect me and I'll become your boyfriend"!"
Yukiteru had to agree with that suggestion. "She's right, we can enter a fake relationship like we did before...but..." Flashing images of them spending time together made him feel what he felt before besides fear, there was joy and happiness. A flashing image of the incident with Kurusu popped into his mind and Yuno's words echoed to him.
"I know that I stalked you for a full year, but even if I die, then you can live on and that's what I hope for at least. I know I freaked you so many times, but, I still love, I wouldn't mind dying as long as you live...my love..."
Yukiteru clenched his hands. "Damn it...I'm still having feelings for Yuno...why?" Suddenly he looked down the hallway and saw Marco and Ai running at them.
"Let's test your power of Love!" Marco stated.
Ai went ahead first tossing another knife however, Yuno deflected.
KABOOM
The flames grew intense and spread more at Ai and Yuno startling Yukiteru and Marco.
"Ai!"
"Yuno!"
"Because you tried to kill Yukki, he turned to me again!" Yuno declared.
Ai was coming closer to Yuno, however, her foot got caught next to a crack in the floor causing her to slightly trip.
This gave Yuno an opening as she took out the knife but out of nowhere Marco shielded his girlfriend taking the strike himself but only on the arm. The flames were causing smoke that Yukiteru couldn't see what was going on.
Marco using his chance slapped the knife out of Yuno's hand giving Ai the chance to throw one more knife which impaled Yuno in the side of her stomach causing her to floor on the floor on her side.
The house sprinklers were activated putting out the fire but there was still smoke in the air. Yukiteru was able to see Yuno had been injured and he caught her in his arms. "Yuno...are you alright?" He then looked at the 7th Diary couple.
Marco looked partly disappointed but angry. "Hey...brat...why didn't you help her?"
Yukiteru had a questioned look but before he could get a word out, he felt his shirt being grabbed by Marco's hand looking more pissed off than he was. "You're her boyfriend, right?! Why the hell didn't you protect her butt, a man is supposed to protect his girl at any cost!"
"Yeah, but, she said I could use her..." Yukiteru whimpered frightened.
Marco was getting more infuriated. "What a waste of time...just-"
"HEY!" A voice rang out getting Marco and Ai to turn around looking in the direction to see a certain high school boy Touma and middle school girl Misaka.
The two teenagers looked angry themselves.
Marco looked at Touma with a questionable but still pissed-off look. "Who said that?"
Yukiteru opened his eyes slightly. "Touma...Misaka..."
"Just who the hell are you?" Marco asked.
"Stop yapping and put Yuki down," Touma spoke panting a little.
Marco's eyebrow raised in question which tried Touma's patience. "Didn't you hear me, I told you to let him go! YOU DAMN LOSER!"
Ai looked suspiciously. "That boy...he looks familiar..."
Yuno heard the shouting and saw Touma and Misaka. "Touma...Misaka..."
Marco was more pissed off being demanded by a teenage boy. "You dare talk to me like that, you brat!?"
"Damn right, if you want jerks wanna fight, then come at us!" Misaka held her right hand gathering electricity.
Before Marco could get a word out, Ai pointed at the boy. "I know you...you're Kamijou!"
Marco's anger vanished a little and looked closely at Touma. "Ah! I remember you now, the snot-nose brat that took on the terrorist bitch and saved the school with 1st." A smirk took place on his face. "I admit that someone like you was able to face Uyuru's head without hesitation. Not to mention you smooched the terrorist bitch!"
Touma didn't want to be reminded of that. "Don't change the subject! Put Yuki down now!"
Marco chuckled a bit. "Well, I must say you got some balls on you to talk to me like that." He dropped Yukiteru on the floor and stood before the other two teenagers and he looked in Misaka's direction. "Let me guess, another pretend girlfriend?"
Misaka was flustered at the cone-haired man's question. "My boyfriend...this idiot isn't my boyfriend you moron!" Electricity started to spark around the middle school girl's body.
Ai was surprised to see that. "Electricity is sparking around that girl's body. Who is she and what power does she possess?"
Marco smirked and didn't leave his face. "Well, I don't care if you both are a real couple or not. As far as I can say because the love between Ai and I is strong and will prevail through the end."
"What do you mean by that?" Touma asked.

Accelerator stomped his foot creating a tremor underneath the ground breaking apart and sending parts of dirt at the demon. "Vector...I haven't seen in that since my time." Vector said with a smirk. "Predictable..." He used his wings to glide down avoiding the falling debris of dirt and going in Accelerator's direction and was nearing before pulling back his left arm.
The white-haired teenage boy was expecting this. "Nice try but I will be able to deflect-" Before he could get another word in he faintly saw the enemy redirect his arm and was able to slam his fist into Accelerator's cheek sending him crashing across into the house's wall. "Stupid human.." Vector taunted his smirk not leaving his face.
Itsuwa lunged at the demon with her spear pointing straight but just as her spear's edges reached the enemy's chest, she saw to her shock that Vector caught her attack by placing his hands on the sharp edges. "Heheheh...stupid human girl." He tossed the spear aside leaving Itsuwa defenseless and punched her in the stomach sending her crashing into the wall and then landing on her butt. "I was hoping that you would be able to put up a fight, but it seems Academy City warriors aren't the fighters they are."
A small pebble was directly at his face, but he evaded it and left a tiny scratch on his left cheek. "I admit you got me...but, I ain't done, you freak." Accelerator was slowly getting up. "I'm still top dog despite being defeated by a Level 0."
Vector was suddenly interested in this. "A Level 0 defeated someone who has the power of Vectors, how can that be possible?" Accelerator gave the demon a smirk. "I would rather see you find out for yourself, I came here to fight not to talk."
The demon just grinned widely. "Well, I guess I'll just entertain myself by beating you and your little friends to a bloody plump."
Accelerator kick the some dirt which went flying at Vector. "Take this!" Vector punched through the dirt and destroyed it with his left hand. "Nice try, but, you'll have to try harder."
Accelerator just grinned insanely. "Be careful what you ask for!" Using his Vector below his feet, he was able to leap faster in the air. "Take this!" Vector was punched in the stomach which Accelerator smirked. "How do you like-" He was interrupted when Vector's hand grabbed him by the neck. "I admit you got quite a punch but it won't be enough to defeat a demon species like myself."
"Demon..." Accelerator gasped.
"Yes, I come from a race of demons that once ruled in a kingdom 2000 years ago. We possess magic power that is far more powerful than any other ordinary magician that is in your time." Vector continued. "Now, I'm last of my kind and will kill anyone that gets in my way."
Itsuwa stood up despite her injuries. "Is that right, why do you get by killing people in this world I mean you and the other monsters aren't part of the Survival Game."
Vector chuckled evilly. "I just find it amusing how ignorant and stupid humans can be. Their own ambition blinds them and in the end they lose their lives."
"Ice Night Wind!" Itsuwa declared as the tip of her spear cast magic wind that exploded on Vector and creating a loud noise.
Marco and Ai turned to the direction. "What was that noise?"
"Don't know..."
Touma had a feeling. "Sounds like the others are probably having a rough fight." He then looked at the two adults. "Let's hope they handle that demon."
After the smoke from the explosion began to clear. Itsuwa looked closely at the smoke. "Did I get him?"
"Hahahaha..." A chuckle was heard in the smoke which showed a shadowy silhouette. "I admit that was quite the spell." He brushed off the chilly frost that was on his arms. "Sadly, but, it was not strong to beat me."
Itsuwa was staring in utter disbelief. "Oh no, he took that hit like it was nothing. He isn't even breathing hard."
Accelerator narrowed his eyes at the demon. "It seems this devil is more powerful than I thought." He had insane smile on his face. "Well, no matter, I'll use my Blood Manipulation to kill this freak."
"Now, my turn..." Vector's eyes turned to Accelerator, like he knew he was going to do next and started to motion his index finger like he was writing something. "Dark Script: Body Barrier." A blue magic-like barrier covered his body just as Accelerator activated his Blood Flow Manipulation.
After a few seconds, nothing happened stunning Accelerator. "What the hell, my Blood...Flow...Manipulation isn't working..." Vector smirked with a darkened look on his face. "Cocky human, you witnessed my Dark Script magic which enable me to create barriers not to shield me from attacks but all kinds of manipulation effects like yours."
"That means..." Itsuwa began to say.
"That Accelerator's Vector power can't hurt any of my body part within me." Vector summarized. "I think its time I end this..." He rushed at the two teenagers with fast speed. "Wind Whirl!" He flapped his wings rapidly that created a strong wind that sent Itsuwa flying in the air. Accelerator shielded his body using his arms. "Damn it..."
The wind became so strong that it the area was almost caught in a big storm blocking Accelerator's vision a little. "Damn it, the wind has become like a storm." He muttered keeping his left eye open while the other closed.
Vector was no where in sight and reappeared behind Accelerator, but before the Top Dog Academy Esper could make a move, he swung his tail but quickly redirectedthe swing of his tail and slammed it at the back of his neck causing the teenager to faint on the ground. "I admit you guys are impressive, but, you'll have to get stronger." He then looked at the mansion. "Time to check on the love moron couple."
The moment he left Kanzaki arrived on the scene. "Itsuwa! Accelerator!" She crouched down at the two teenagers checking their pulse. "Looks they're safe...I'd better call the others and fast." She then looked at tree where she found Taoru. "Too bad I had to let that Taoru kid go, but, the moment I felt a strong magic presence, I knew I had to get here."
Kuroko returned to the group after teleporting with Tsuchimikado and Akise, who were both unconscious. "Looks like these guys aren't hurt badly, but, whoever got the drop on them must've been strong."
Aiho had her word to say. "Thank you, the back up will be here in 30 minutes, continue on finding the rest of our comrades."

Yukiteru and Yuno were on the floor unconscious still. Despite the racket that just occurred from outside, Marco continued on with his speech.
"What do I mean about the love between Ai and I will help us see through the game to the end?" He mocked almost laughing. "Do you think I will share my knowledge of love with dumbass-"
"Just answer the question!" Touma demanded impatiently.
Marco almost flinched at the boy's tone but kept his head on straight. "Very well, I won't expect snot-punks like you two to understand, but, as I mentioned to 1st and 2nd, our love is stronger and real compared to theirs. In other words, their love is fake while ours is real therefore our love will help us win while theirs will be their downfall."
Ai had her word to say. "Yes, our love is stronger than those brats, plus, 1st is nothing but a weakling. The love he has for Yuno is nothing but fake, a fraud, and nothing else."
Marco was proud of his woman's support. "Yes, plus 1st is nothing but a little wussy that can't learn to love so he should just die along with his stupid fake girlfriend." He turned to see his enemies were unconscious. "I think I'll do that..."
"HEY!" Touma shouted angrily getting Marco to stop. "I didn't tell you to move damn it!" He glared viciously at the cone-haired man.
"You think you can stop me by shouting at me?" Marco taunted. "Listen punk, just leave us and we'll let you and your friend leave in peace."
"Not happening..." Misaka spoke gathering her electricity in her hand.
Ai had a question of her own. "Why would you risk your life for your friends as far I can tell, they're not worth saving. 1st is a weakling while 2nd is doing all the work without letting her fake boyfriend rely on her alone."
"Because they're our friends..." Touma answered getting the two adults to look at him with puzzled looks. "You two heard me, they're our friends! No matter what you two say, nothing is going to stop us from saving our friends not even bastards like you!"
Marco looked pissed this time. "You dare call us that you little punk while you don't realize that these fakers don't deserve-"
"I told you to shut up!" Touma shouted even more louder. "I'm not expecting a bastard like you or your girlfriend Ai to understand, but, just because Yuki is a weakling doesn't mean he isn't worth saving!" Ai's eyes twitched at the sudden remark that was pointed at her boyfriend.
Misaka gave a determined look at the two adults. "That's right, I mean sure the idiot is a scaredy cat and Yuno is a crazy stalker girl but, they're our friends!" Although a part of wondered if Yuno considered her and the others friends, but, that was beyond the point. "Just because they're not a couple like you two doesn't mean we'll just leave them to die!"
Touma had more to say. "There's one more thing you should know." He pumped his right hand. "You two think you'll survive this game using the power of love between you two. I admit that's a fine sentiment to live by, but it's something that can't be relied on!"
Marco glared at the high school boy looking offended. "What the hell is supposed that mean, you punk!?"
"He means that love conqueror's all thing that you're stating is nothing more than a human philosophy," Misaka answered. "In some cases, love can help through things, but not everything!"
Ai didn't say a word but Marco was gritting his teeth like the other two teenage kids' words were pissing him off. "The point we're making is that the love between you and Ai is real, but if you trying to imply that it makes you invisible or something, then that's nothing an illusion that is blinding you!" Touma continued. "I might not know anything about romance or loving someone romantically, but, I know this...my friends mean everything to me...the bond I share with them is something that can't be destroyed!"
Misaka smiled for a second at Touma and turned her attention back to the two adults. Marco wasn't able to hold back his anger. "You dare say that your friendship is stronger than the love between Ai and I!? Please, don't give me the friendship speech bull-"
"What is friendship to you?" Touma interrupted loudly getting Marco to flinch once more. "You work with others that are also diary users and yet you and Ai are willing to throw your bonds with them for what...a chance to become Gods even if it means killing those that once helped you out of your dark moments!"
Ai let out a small gasp as if Touma's words were able to reach her as an image of Kamada and a young Marco helped her during the day she was found by them.
"That's right as far I can tell, you jerks don't know anything about friendship or the bond we share with our friends!" Misaka's electricity grew more tense. "You may know about love, but, there's one thing you don't about is friendship because you both only relied on each other and that's what will defeat you!"
"Argh!" Marco shouted in anger like an angry beast. "I had enough of this teenage friendship speech bullshit, I'll show you punks that the love will help Ai and me through this nightmare!" Without thinking he rushed at the two teenagers.
Touma rushed at him back as they came close to each other.
Even without the sub-holder diary's power, Marco attempted to use the same technique he used before, only Touma avoided it by ducking down surprising the 7th holder. "Argh!" Touma delivered a punch with his hand slamming it into Marco's lower stomach causing him to cough out saliva.
Ai gasped as her boyfriend fell on his back and took out her knife but it was suddenly dragged out of her hand. "What the..." She looked to see that Misaka's electricity drew the weapon out of her hand.
Touma saw the woman distracted and ran at her extending his right hand toward her with his hand forming into a fist again. "HUAH!" Touma yelled as he pulled his fist back, and slammed it into the woman's left cheek, launching her in the air until she crashed on her back. "Marco...I'm sorry..." She fainted instantly.
Marco stood up looking pissed off. "You bastard..." He lifted Touma by his neck. "You dare raise a hand and harm my darling Ai?! I'll make you- Before he attempted to crush the boy's neck he felt a sharp pain at the back of his lower leg causing him to release the high school boy.
There was a black iron knife in his leg and he turned to see Misaka's hand with electricity that shaped like a whip. "I used my power to turn Ai's knife into iron and throw it at your leg."
Marco was brought to his knee in pain looking pissed off but confused. "In the words, I had my esper ability create iron sand and create my own iron knife."
"Damn you..." Marco groaned trying to stand up but the pain in his lower leg was deeper than he thought.
"Did you think your love will be able to help you through this fight or the survival game?" Touma stood back up and glared at the 7th holder, who turned back to look at him. "The love you and Ai have is real, but you don't know anything about friendship! The truth is you and Ai are just as naive about friendship as Yuki and Yuno are about love!"
He then raised his right fist. "I'm about to break this whole messed up illusion you have about reality, even if you don't see it now, I will continue to show you the truth no matter how stubborn you are!" Touma's fist struck the 7th holder's face.
Marco felt his consciousness leaving him as his eyes rolled back and fell on his back his mouth hung up.
Touma and Misaka approached Yuno and Yukiteru. "Let's get them out of here."
"Yeah..."
Misaka carried Yukiteru on her back while Touma carried Yuno in bride style, much to the railgun girl's chagrin.
Vector was watching from the entrance and smirked. "Well, so, the two dumbass humans Marco and Ai have lost to the two strongest Academy City humans." He watched the enemies leave and went inside the mansion approaching the two unconscious adults. "Well, I think it's time we add more fun to this game."
7/6 Sakura Mei Police Hospital.
Yukiteru's POV
"The whole plan was a bust. Yuno and I were saved by Touma and Misaka. Marco and Ai were reported missing after some police went to find their bodies. I was totally surprised that Touma and Misaka were able to defeat them though 7th wasn't dead. Perhaps, an ally of theirs saved them. Hinata and Mao were seriously injured including Itsuwa and Accelerator. In a way, this battle was close."
Akise and Nishijima were healed quickly by Orsola. Afterwards, she went was already treating the wounds of Itsuwa and Accelerator.
A little later.
Touma, Misaka, Akise, and Nishijima went to visit Yukiteru in his room.
Yukiteru was happy to see his friends safe. "Glad you guys are safe. Also, Touma, Misaka, thank you for saving Yuno and me."
Misaka turned her head away blushing slightly. "Y-yeah, don't get gushy on us."
"Just doing what I believe is right," Touma replied with a smile.
"How is Yuno's injury by the way?" Yukiteru asked.
"Her injury wasn't too deep, but, she still had to be checked out for any infection or anything else. But, so far, she'll pull through," Nishijima answered. "I'm amazed that Touma and Misaka were able to defeat the 7th holder."
"Either way, we can't relax yet, they'll probably return to finish the job," Akise said. "Plus, they were just defeated by Touma and Misaka, no doubt, they'll probably want revenge."
"So, what is the plan now?" Yukiteru asked. "And where is Ray, he was helping us out, wasn't he?"
Akise had a troubled look. "About that, he went missing, we can assume he died somewhere in the flames or just fled the scene."
"As for your other question, we should consider giving you some training." Tsuchimikado entered the room. "After all, I get the feeling the enemies we encountered at the resort town will return, on top of that, Accelerator and Itsuwa just encountered one of those monsters. We didn't learn the name of the stranger, but, we do know it is a male and has strong magic power. Not only that, the entity knows of Accelerator's Esper power."
"I agree," Kanzaki arrived wearing her tugged white shirt and one-leg pants exposing her belly and left thigh making Yukiteru flustered. "Mr. Amano, we shall start some training with you. Plus, someone is offering to help on this training."
"Who would that be?" Yukiteru asked before a nurse walked between the priestess and the Esper spy. "That would be me...plus, I would like to ask a few questions including zapper girl and high school playboy."
"9th..." Yukuiteru muttered a little stunned.
At Mother's house
Marco and Ai were getting patched up. Marco's leg that had the stab wound was deep that he had to get some stitches from a home doctor.
Orin brought the couple soup. "Here you guys go."
Marco was too angry to eat as Touma's words echoed in his head. "You and Ai's love may be real, but you don't know anything about friendship you and Ai are just as naive as Yuki and Yuno are about love!" He gritted his teeth in frustration. "Damn that scrawny punk...he thinks he can look down on us with his..." He rubbed his hair roughly trying to find the words, but he couldn't.
Ai glanced at her boyfriend without saying a word. "Marco..." She thought looking guilty while holding a bowl of soup.
Outside in the front yard, Vector was chatting with Kamada. "So, that's what Kamijou said to Marco and Ai."
"Yes," Vector nodded.
Kamada looked at the yard smiling a little. "So, there are some children that believe in friendship. Kamijou, Misaka, I hope I get to meet you and your friends." She thought of her other children Marco and Ai. "Marco, Ai, could you learn something from the new generations?"
The 7th couple defeats Yukiteru and Yuno due to their lack of cooperation, but they are soon confronted by Touma and Misaka. The two Academy City students overcome the 7th couple and defeat them. Vector has eyes on another plan to make the game more entertaining, the main question is, what is he planning?
Vivian is creating an android, but what for, and what data did she collect, that'll be revealed in due time. To those that are probably if there is a point, there is, but I won't spoil.
