Hey all, I'm so sorry with how slow this fic is going, I will admit I was preoccupied with my other Fanfics 'Animals We Have Become' and 'Turtles and Transformers' as I had the most ideas for them and this fic got pushed to the side, and it didn't help I still had writers block.

I'm hoping to have something going again with this fic, yet don't be too surprised if it's slow in updates. But still keep your eyes peeled!

Anyway, hope this chapter was worth the wait!

Chapter Twenty-Five

Thoughts...

Back with the Disciples, Diablo led the way as he flew, Pandora and Regan following close behind on the stolen motorcycle whilst the others followed in the vans.

Diablo scanned the area hoping to get them as far away from the motel and hopefully somewhere Isolated so that when they dealt with the men they had kidnapped, their screams wouldn't be heard.

Inside the blue and green van, Lamia, Rex, Seth, Chastity, and Lilith looked at the five men tied up and still knocked out cold.

"Looking forward to giving these bastards some treatment." Lamia smirked "It was satisfactory giving them a shocker, but I look forward to doing more to them."

"We all look forward to giving them their just desserts Lamia." Chastity said tapping her sharp talons on her knee as she looked at them.

"They are not men of God, the filth they speak!" she said.

"They speak nothing but poison." Seth agreed.

Lilith meanwhile frowned and said nothing.

"You alright Lilly?" Rex asked looking over at the falcon who looked over at him.

"Huh?" she asked.

"Your mind wondering again?" the Doberman asked.

Seth sighed as he looked at the Falcon and he could tell what she was thinking, and he placed his hand on hers.

In the years she had been with the Disciples, as much as she felt safe with them and never disagreed with their views on making sinner pay for their wrong doings, especially since it had been some stupid and selfish people who had taken her human life away, she never felt any satisfaction nor thought it made things better since there were still cruel people in the world and that would never change.

The other Disciples were aware of her feelings, yet they never forced her to join them in any of their activities in punishing their prisoners, and Seth was especially supportive.

Diablo was also aware and it had disappointed him, yet he reassured her that he would never cast her out of the group and all the Disciples had the freedom to come and go when they pleased, yet he did make them aware that if they tried to go to Mutopia that they would most likely be questioned on where he was, or they wouldn't be welcome at all given they were Disciples.

"I will admit it yes." Lilith said, "I still have my feelings regarding these prisoners, they are sinners, and will our actions make them change fully?"

"If they don't, then they will carry the scars forever." Lamia said, "They will never forget their encounter with us."

"And let us not forget the Straight Truths Baptist Church." Chastity said, "They now cease to be because of us."

"That was one of our best attacks." Lamia agreed "They were so scared they disbanded."

The other Disciples laughed, and Seth looked at Lilith who looked back at him.

"There have been others we've attacked, and they have gone into hiding." He said.

"And some have decided to stay hidden, yet if they even dare to show their faces again, the Boss will be wanting to attack them again." Rex agreed.

"After what happened to the Straight Truth's, only a fool would come out." Chastity added.

Back outside, Aurora and Regan continued to follow Diablo as they rode on the motorcycle together.

The road lead them away from the Motel and soon they were on a long stretch leading into wooded areas.

Diablo kept flying ahead watching the road ahead to see if he could see any oncoming cars or vehicles who would approach and maybe even spot them.

As Aurora drove the motorcycle, Regan held onto her around the waist.

"I wonder which way we're heading?" she asked.

"Beats me!" Aurora called back, "Who knows where we're heading if Diablo has anything to say about it!"

"By the way?" Regan called "How did you learn to drive a motorbike?"

"What do you mean?" Aurora asked.

"I mean, how did you learn? You can't remember your name or your family, yet you know how to fight, take down men bigger than you and ride a motorbike?"

"I have no idea!" Aurora called back "It just, well, it just came to me!"

As she was talking, Diablo suddenly cawed out a warning and flew up higher into the sky, Aurora saw him then looked ahead to see a lorry with its full lights on approaching them.

"Watch out!" Regan cried and buried her head in Aurora's shoulder, yet the hybrid glared and turned the bike to the side to avoid the large vehicle and a horn was sounded as they passed.

Regan looked up and looked behind her hoping that the two vans containing the other Disciples were following them which they were luckily, and she looked up again at Diablo who had swooped down lower then directed them to a side road over which he flew ahead, and Aurora turned the motorbike to follow him.

The road lead them into some woodland and Aurora looked up to see Diablo pointing to another side road that led them deeper into it.

Regan smirked as she saw him.

"He's found a spot to punish our prisoners." She hissed "Out in these woods, we're far away from anywhere, so no-one will hear their screams!"

The Vampire Bat also looked behind her to check the vans were following which they were and before long they were driving deeper and deeper into the dark woods and Diablo soon came to rest near somewhere they could park the vehicles without blocking the road.

Aurora instantly pulled up and shut off the engine to the bike and she and Regan got off whilst the vans pulled up behind and parked.

"So why are we here?" Aurora asked.

"We're here to punish the wicked my dear." Diablo explained "And far from where anyone will hear them scream!" he smirked with a twinkle in his moonstone eyes.

"Punish them?" Aurora asked, "How are we going to punish them?"

Diablo's smirk just got wider, and Aurora almost felt afraid.

Regan licked her lips.

"Oh, we're going to have some fun we are!" she hissed "A lot of fun!"

The girls looked over to see the doors of the vans open and the other Disciples got out.

Samson and Ravage went to the Blue and Green Van and between them and Rex they got out the hostages and carried them on their shoulders.

"They're still out cold Diablo!" Seth reported.

"Good." Diablo smirked and licked his beak.

"Do you think we're going to be safe here from any prying eyes?" Chastity asked.

Rex lifted his nose to sniff the air.

"I smell no humans around here, it is still dark, and all the scents I can pick up are from animals."

"That's comforting." Lilith said as she scanned the area with her eyes "Yet I will keep watch for anything that might come close."

"Well done Lil." Lamia said then turned to Diablo.

"Lead us."

Diablo nodded.

"Follow me." He said then started to walk into the undergrowth, opening his wings to clear a path whilst the other Disciples followed.

Aurora and Regan hung back to watch the rear along with Lilith who scanned the area with her eyes.

"I really enjoyed that ride." Regan said to Aurora "I'm still curious to how you learnt?"

"Again, I wish I could remember." Aurora said "But I just knew, as soon as I sat on it, as soon as I touched the handlebars, I just knew..."

"Someone must have taught you." Regan said, "Yet who?"

"Again, I don't recall." Aurora replied, "I do not remember anything before when Chastity and Lamia awakened me,"

Regan frowned as she looked at her hybrid friend.

It was interesting to hear that Aurora seemed to know so much yet couldn't remember anything prior to when she was found and resuscitated by Chastity and Lamia.

Although she had been aware that despite memory loss, there was such a thing as muscle memory and she wondered if that was what the hybrid was experiencing, muscle memory after being given the chance to try something then finding out she already knew.

Regan felt that was a good thing to have, yet she was still curious to know how taught her, who had taught her the skills to ride a motorcycle, and to fight.

The Vampire Bat wasn't the only one curious, as Lilith too had her own thoughts about the Hybrid who walked behind her.

"The child knows a lot more than she's gives herself credit for." She mused "Yet I'm still curious to know where she's from, where she was before she washed up on the rock where I found her."

The falcon looked at her talons as she thought hard.

"She must have had someone, or some people who cared about her, and loved her, just like I did."

She sighed as she remembered her parents back in Spencer and how they were coping, having lost two children, Nigel in the war in Iraq and then her, and they had no idea what happened.

"There's got to be someone out there who loves this lost girl." She thought "There's got to be."

Seth noticed Lilith's look and he turned to her.

"You alright Lil?" he asked.

"I don't know." Lilith said looking over at Aurora, "Despite our new friend having no memories, I can't help but think that there is someone, or people out there who love her, and are missing her, she can't have been lost before we found her."

Seth frowned.

"You serious?" he asked.

"We all had families before we became what we are now Seth." Lilith said looking back at Aurora who was still in conversation with Regan.

"We all have people who loved us, yet we were human and have to leave our old lives behind, this one must have had people like her who love her, and if there was a slight chance she might remember them."

"We return her to them?" Seth asked to which Lilith nodded.

"I hope she remembers sooner rather than later, then we can help her find them." She said "I know it sounds impossible, but after what happened to me, and how my parents were so heartbroken, not just because they lost Nigel, then me too? I don't want a parent to go through the same pain."

Seth gave a sympathetic smile and placed his hand on her shoulder.

"You are kind Lilith." He said, "And I understand what you feel, and I'll be supportive, like I always have, we'll keep an eye on Aurora, and if there's any indication, she may regain her memories, we will help her."

Lilith nodded at Seth.

"Thanks Seth." She said licking her beak as she thought hard, "I can only hope, and that's all I can do."

The Disciples have arrived somewhere to punish their victims, but at the same time, Lilith has been having her thoughts about Aurora.
