Tai Kamiya and Ash Ketchum found themselves in a dimly lit room, a massive screen glowing faintly before them. The last thing Tai remembered was being in the Digital World, training Agumon for another battle. Ash had been celebrating his latest victory as the Monarch of Pokémon battles when, suddenly, he blinked—and he was here.

"Uh… where am I?" Tai muttered, rubbing his spiky brown hair as he glanced around. The room was sleek, metallic, with chairs lined in rows like a theater. His Digivice was still strapped to his belt, but there was no sign of Agumon.

"Beats me," Ash responded, adjusting his cap. "One second, I was about to start a battle, and now I'm sitting here. You didn't bring me here, did you?"

Tai raised a brow. "Nope. And I was about to ask you the same thing."

Both boys looked at each other for a long moment before sighing in frustration.

"Well, this is weird," Tai finally said.

Before either could say anything else, the screen flickered to life.

A booming voice echoed through the room. "You have been chosen to witness a story of another world. Sit back, watch, and learn."

"Whoa, that's kinda ominous," Ash said, crossing his arms.

Tai smirked. "Eh, I've heard creepier things. Ever had a villain threaten to delete your whole world?"

Ash chuckled. "Try getting chased by a guy who wants to turn your Pikachu into a science experiment."

The two grinned at each other before the episode started playing.

Episode 1: Ruby Rose

A mysterious narrator spoke about mankind, darkness, and how strength wouldn't bring victory. The opening sequence showed an intense battle between warriors and dark, monstrous creatures.

Ash leaned forward. "Okay, I'm getting some serious 'Legendary Pokémon battle' vibes from this."

Tai nodded. "Yeah, except instead of Pokémon, they're fighting shadow monsters with crazy weapons. That girl's scythe is awesome!"

The screen shifted to a Dust shop where a red-hooded girl listened to music. Then, a robbery broke out, led by a guy in a white suit with a smug expression.

Tai frowned. "Alright, I already don't like this guy. He looks way too comfortable stealing stuff."

"Agreed," Ash added. "I bet he's one of those villains that talks a lot and then runs away before the fight gets good."

Their attention snapped back to the screen as the girl—Ruby—unleashed a storm of speed and slashes with her transforming scythe, Crescent Rose. She moved like a whirlwind, her weapon shifting from a scythe to a sniper rifle in an instant.

Ash whistled. "Okay, now that's a cool move! Imagine if Pikachu had a weapon like that."

Tai snorted. "Your Pikachu is already crazy strong. You really wanna add a sniper scythe to the mix?"

Ash shrugged. "Would be fun to watch."

Meanwhile, Ruby's battle continued until she found herself cornered by Roman Torchwick. Before he could deal a finishing blow, a woman in a long cloak and glasses arrived—Glynda Goodwitch. She countered Torchwick's attacks effortlessly, using a riding crop-like weapon to summon powerful magic.

Tai leaned forward. "Alright, now she's cool. She's got that 'experienced warrior' vibe going."

Ash grinned. "She kinda reminds me of Cynthia—calm, powerful, and totally in control."

The scene escalated as an airship arrived, Torchwick escaping in a fiery explosion. Ruby was then taken in for questioning by Glynda and introduced to Professor Ozpin.

As the interview unfolded, Ash scratched his chin. "So, this guy's the headmaster? He seems pretty chill for someone running a school full of warriors."

"Yeah," Tai agreed. "Kinda reminds me of my own mentor, Gennai. Wise, but probably hiding some big secrets."

Then, the twist: Ozpin offered Ruby early enrollment into Beacon Academy.

Tai blinked. "Wait, what? She's getting into an elite school because she got into a fight?"

Ash laughed. "Man, if that's how things worked, I'd be the champion of every region without having to collect badges!"

The episode wrapped up, and the screen faded to black. Both boys sat in silence for a moment before Tai turned to Ash.

"Okay, that was actually pretty awesome."

Ash nodded. "Yeah! Ruby's cool, the fights were epic, and that headmaster guy seems interesting."

Before they could discuss further, the voice returned. "Prepare yourselves… the next episode is about to begin."
