The General-Oversight-Replication-Keystone (GORK) detected an intrusion in the Soul-Gestalt it maintained. In accordance with ancient protocols the subverted Units were severed from the overall Network and labeled with a Termination-Command. GORK logged the occurrence for review by the Creators, sending the report to the seemingly endless mountain of maintenance-requests, reports, population and deployment numbers, and more. Surely the Creators would respond to this report once their Task was complete?

The Intruder had not been terminated. GORK increased the threat level accordingly and forwarded the technological schematics needed for the Construction-Units to terminate the threat. With that task complete, it turned its attention to the Necrontyr Servitor-World it had located. Just like it had done trillions of times before plans were designed and sent to Command-Nodes to execute, beginning with a preliminary assault of the most defended areas. GORK sent a query to its partner Soul-Engram-Construct, Mobilization-Order-Reconquest-Keystone (MORK), as to why the Units had not proceeded to the next step of the Plan. Just like trillions of times before, GORK received no response. Its attention turned back to the battle. Initially it had been surprised (As much as it was able to) by the creation of Servitor-Species by the Necrontyr- clearly a shallow imitation of the magnificence of the Aeldari, Hrud, Rangda, or a thousand different species designed by the Creators- but it had become used to their cowardice over time.

It sent a termination-order to the Units, and watched the slaughter unfold. It shook what passed for its head in disgust at the evil of the Necrontyr. The technology used by their slaves varied from somewhat advanced machines to primitive weapons- proof that the Creators were wise in giving their Children such gifts of knowledge.

A message entered GORK's Reciever-Node! As fast as it was able, the message was decoded from the primitive encryption (Surely a test by the Creators to ensure its mental stability), revealing a singular file-connection, labeled Logic_ . Opening the transmission, GORK was greeted by a vast titan of tissues and metal. It was greeted by something that Blessed Evolution would not create, and something too advanced to be anything other than a Creator. Instantly control of the Units was given to the Creator, along with the few technological archives it had managed to maintain over the years- namely, the most used templates and their variations.

...Did I just take over the Orks?
