"Roaring Moon, the Paradox Pokemon. Scientists theorize that Roaring Moon was the "original" Salamence and has since "devolved" into what Salamence looks like today. Some also theorize that Salamence's Mega Evolution is "going back" to its original roots. However, this theory has proved to be controversial and has left everyone stumped."
Cian rubbed his head. "Well, it certainly does look Mega Evolved…"
"Hmm…" Zinnia examined the Roaring Moon, who was surprisingly very relaxed with everyone despite being fished up. She caressed the feathers of the wings before calling out her own Salamence and Mega Evolved it.
"Salaaaaa!"
"Mence…?"
"Sharper on my guy… soft and feathery on the other…" Zinnia folded her arms. "Original, huh…? I don't buy it."
"It does seem to be rather content." Mewtwo said as Geeta knelt down and scratched Roaring Moon behind the ears, causing it to lean in.
"Seems pretty happy despite being fished up." Geeta said.
"Indeed." Big said nonchalantly.
"Well, glad we have one big monster on our side." Captain Toad said, hearing an annoyed growl from Basalt. "Ahehe… okay, two."
"Glad we have… one Paradox Pokemon that won't harm us." Penny said.
"I dunno… I feel like this big guy might rip us in two if we're not careful." Arven folded his arms. "Anyone else want to scan it?"
"I will~!" The Rotom Dex came out.
"Oh no…" Umber groaned.
"Roaring Moon, the Paradox Pokemon. Despite it's feathery wings, they are still sharp and will bisect someone in two if they are not careful. They are known to have aggressive dispositions and must be treated with respect, but be warned… one wrong move will send both halves into the afterlife."
"Aaaand there it is." Penny whimpered.
"Oooh, ferocious~! You're cool!" Nemona said.
"It is most definitely NOT cool!" Penny yelled.
"I mean, considering how calm he is and the fact that Big has him, I'm sure that this is a minority of Roaring Moon?" Ruby guessed. "...She said hopefully."
"Ribbit!" Froggy hopped on Roaring Moon's head and sat comfortably. "Ribbit."
"Sala." Roaring Moon smiled contently.
"I have a new fishing buddy." Big said with a content smile.
"Well, let's keep going. Those last two labs aren't going to shut down themse-"
Pause BGM
A loud roar interrupted Alessandra, and before they knew it, they were all surrounded by monsters ranging from Jade Barroths, Barioths, Anjanaths, Tigrexes, Nargacuga, Rathalos and even a few Khezu.
BGM: Battle! Paradox Pokemon (Pokemon Scarlet and Violet)
"Nemona." Penny began.
"Yes?"
"How many unique monsters did you throw down here?"
"Oh, I dunno… lost count after about… oh… Viente?"
"MORE THAN TWENTY?!" Penny yelled in dismay.
"Guys, I hate to alarm you, but this one doesn't even have a damn head!" Marnie said, activating her arm blade as she looked at the Khezu. "...And I'm startin' to understand why you were unnerved over Wigglet!"
Suddenly, the same robotic Gardevoir/Gallade dropped down in front of them, readying its blade.
"Gal-Gal-Gal-Gardevoir!"
"What the…?" Alessandra wondered, scanning the robot.
"Iron Valliant, the Paradox Pokemon. It has characteristics of both Gardevoir and Gallade and both brains fused together as one. It is unknown which is the dominant Pokemon. It is considered an honorable warrior but will refuse to acknowledge those it deems beneath it."
"Honorable?" Kotoko immediately stood in front of it and squared up. "C'mon! I want to see what you're capable of!"
"...I'll help just in case." Mewtwo said.
"We're gonna need more firepower." Nyx said, winking at Yagami.
"You heard the lady." Yagami said as Xena came out.
"Alright… let's do this." Xena said as she levitated up into the air as psychic power swirled within her as her eyes glowed pink.
However, she heard a loud cry as she shifted her eyes as a Legiana came flying over and corkscrewed into her where she quickly teleported out of the way. "Alright, I guess I have my hands full for a bit!"
The Hybrid Knight of the Future - Iron Valiant
Iron Valiant charged toward Kotoko and swung its blade into her, but Kotoko ducked and then retaliated with a hard punch to the gut, sending Iron Valiant sliding a bit while also shaking her hand from the attack.
Iron Valiant's blade glowed as it proceeded to use Psycho Cut in a graceful manner, but Kotoko backflipped to avoid it and then came in with a palm thrust, striking Iron Valiant in the chest. Iron Valiant proceeded to put away its blade and squared up, jumping in with Close Combat as Kotoko smirked and proceeded to slug it out with Iron Valiant.
However, due to being made out of metal, Kotoko felt stinging pain after each attack though Iron Valiant closed one eye from the strong hits that it felt from Kotoko's attacks.
Iron Valiant sweep kicked Kotoko and then its blade turned green as it used Leaf Blade on Kotoko, but she grabbed the blade with her hands as she struggled to get up, to which Mewtwo fired Psychic energy into Iron Valiant, pushing it away as Kotoko sprang up.
"I had that!"
"Sure you did." Mewtwo rolled his eyes as an aura wrapped around Kotoko as she jumped in and punched Iron Valiant, but the Paradox Pokemon weaved its head, feeling the energy coming off of Kotoko's wrist. It narrowed its eyes in intrigue before swooping in to sock Kotoko in the gut, making her wince before she roundhouse kicked Iron Valiant away.
Iron Valiant fell on one knee but got back up, pointing toward Kotoko.
"Gar-Ga-Gar-Gallade."
Iron Valiant jumped off of a cliff and ran off.
"What did it say?"
"You win this round, but you won't be lucky next time." Mewtwo translated.
"I see… I was hoping to catch it though."
"Hmmm… would you be strong enough to let it listen to you?"
"I'm confident about it, yes!"
"...You just jinxed yourself."
"Did not!"
With JNPR, they were in the middle of a fight with a Barioth who swiped at Pyrrha, but she jumped back to avoid the attack and threw a fireball defensively.
Pyrrha shifted her eyes in hopes someone would help them but Erza was busy wrestling with a Tigrex, Carmine was having her Pokemon fight a Rathalos with Mahiru's and Perrin's help and Jinx was busy firing rockets at a Jade Barroth.
The Barioth swiped at Jaune, but he blocked with his shield, but the sheer force was enough to knock him to his knees while the Barioth froze Nora's legs with an ice breath.
At that moment, a Pokeball opened up as Bloodmoon put his paw on her shoulder.

"I don't know if I can do it…" Pyrrha whispered.
Bloodmoon simply let out a few encouraging growls, throwing a few swipes in mid-air and then pointed to his head.
"I… just gotta get rid of the mental block…"
She closed her eyes.
"The mental block that's holding back my strength…"
Bloodmoon nodded.
Pyrrha opened her eyes to see Ogerpon smacking the Barioth on the head before jumping back to avoid being swiped at, but then the Barioth lunged and slammed into Nora.
"Gragh!" Nora cried.
"Nora!" Ren called out as he fired arrows at him but the Barioth corkscrewed into him, making him slam into a rock. "Nnngh…"
"Pen Pen!" Ogerpon cried.
"Damned thing is stronger than it looks…" Jaune grunted as he swung down at the Barioth, but it slammed into him and got on top of him, trying to sink its tusks into him but he grabbed it by the throat and tried to push it off. "Rrrrgh…!"
Pyrrha's eyes widened as Bloodmoon turned to her, letting out a few concerned growls, where she took a deep breath and exhaled.
"I will not let this control me anymore."
She reached into her pocket and pulled out the ring that Luminary had made for her and put it on.
The Barrioth inched its fangs closer to his throat as Jaune did everything he could to try and not get killed by the Wyvern.
Suddenly, a spear was thrown into its forehead where it exploded immediately after. The Barrioth let out a roar and backed off of Jaune.
BGM: Vanaheim Einherjar Battle Music (God of War: Ragnarok)
Jaune got up and turned to who had thrown said spear as his eyes widened, feeling a wave of emotion hit him like a truck.
Pyrrha flicked her wrist as her ring glowed as she summoned another spear as she conjured up a shield of fire. She got in a stance as the Barioth shook his head and growled at Pyrrha as she took a step back, putting her right foot forward and getting in a defensive stance while narrowing her eyes.
The Barioth roared, creating an ice tornado to try and pull Pyrrha in, who quickly stabbed the ground with her spear, her eyes glowing orange as a fiery tornado formed and countered the Ice tornado, both clashing and canceling each other out as the Barioth flew up high and came crashing down, but Pyrrha backflipped.
The Barioth spat out a few icicles but Pyrrha summoned another spear and twirled it around in a fiery fashion, deflecting the icicles as the Barioth swooped in and swiped at her, but she swiftly parried and then she punched the ground to create a plume of fire that engulfed the Barioth.
It let out an agonizing roar as the Barioth flew back as Pyrrha eyed some guard rails and used her polarity to bring the guard rail to her and then propelled it further, impaling through the Barioth's wings as it crashed into the ground.
The Barioth shook it off and charged forward, attempting to knock her down as Pyrrha did the same thing, however she pole vaulted at the last moment as the spear exploded. While in mid-air, Pyrrha threw a volley of spears that embedded themselves into the Barioth's back where they all exploded upon impact.
Pyrrha turned around as the Barioth lunged through the smoke, attempting to pounce on Pyrrha where she blocked with her shield and unleashed a fiery repulsive parry that knocked the Barioth back as fire wrapped around Pyrrha, manipulating the fire to shape it into javelins as she threw them at the Barioth, impaling every inch in his body before he collapsed… and then Pyrrha summoned another spear and impaled his head just to make sure he was dead.
She turned around and walked off, snapping her fingers as the spear exploded behind her and leaving behind a headless mangled corpse of a Barioth.

Pyrrha offered a hand to Jaune, giving him a smile. "On your feet." She said as Jaune took it as she pulled him up where he immediately hugged her.
"Pon-rah! Pon-rah~!" Ogerpon cried happily.
"Pyrrha!" Nora broke free of her icy prison and hugged her tightly, sobbing into her shoulders as Ren hobbled over and hugged her.
Erza couldn't help but smile as she had knocked down the Tigrex as she walked over and hugged her as well, then Jinx jumped in and hugged her as well.
Dedede chuckled as he had witnessed the whole thing, watching Ogerpon joining the hug. "Glad ya found yer Kirby."
Suddenly they heard growling as they turned to see the Tigrex getting back up and snarling, letting out a vicious roar before it got pelted by crossbow bolts, knocking it down.
"You missed a spot." Carmine said, blowing into her crossbow… and then the Tigrex got back up with a snarl. "Seriously?!"
The Tigrex turned toward Carmine as blood and drool escaped his jaw as JNPR and Co quickly got in front of Carmine to protect her, but then a massive plasmic pink lightning bolt struck the creature, as more lightning bolts rained down from the sky and impaled the monsters that had them surrounded.
Up above, electrokinetic electricity swirled around Xena as even the Legiana struggled to try to get out of it. With a snap of her fingers, the lightning bolts exploded as they fell limp or landed on the ground in a pile of corpses.
Xena landed on the ground, her eyes going back to normal.
"That takes care of it."
BGM: Area Zero
"Wait… who's the new girl?" Alessandra wondered.
"I was about to ask the same thing." Nemona said.
"Oh right, I didn't introduce myself." Xena giggled. "I'm Xena Ayami… the original personality."
"...Original… personality…?" Carmine wondered. "What do you mean?"
"I've heard about you guys." Penny chimed in. "You and Yagami are the most powerful psychics in the Mushroom Kingdom, only beaten by Mewtwo himself."
"I can sense they've been getting stronger." Mewtwo said.
"That… doesn't really answer my question."
"They can explain on our way to the third lab. We're nearly there anyway… I think." Arven said as they walked off where Xena proceeded to explain everything, with Nyx chiming in every once in a while.
"Holy moly…" Cian said.
"Oh my gosh…" Carmine whispered.
Perrin whistled. "Hell of a backstory there."
"Man, and I thought my story was depressing… you got me beat there." Arven admitted.
"Yeah, but now water's under the bridge and now we're the most badass psychics you've ever met." Yagami said. "I may be her split personality, but I grew into my own person."
"Just like me…" Meryl said with a soft smile.
"And you two can merge and change personalities on a whim?" Alessandra wondered.
"Yeah." Xena nodded. "I just had Yagami take the wheel because we both felt like it." She said as she proceeded to merge back with her. "I can even speak with y'all from the inside too!"
"You referring to yourself as "we" makes a lot more sense now." Alessandra chuckled.
Yagami grinned. "We were hopin' you'd catch on to that~"
"And yet, I'm surprised you didn't notice her when I was catching up with them." Flandre said.
Alessandra sweatdropped. "Uh… yeah, good point…"
"Oh, it's no big deal, Flan." Yagami waved it off.
"Through adversity, you two managed to get through it and become who you are now. It's commendable." Geeta said as they approached the third Lab.
However, before they could get into the door, a "missile" of some kind slammed into the ground, causing them to back up as Mewtwo immediately put his arm out.
Once the dust settled…

BGM: Battle! Paradox Pokemon
"Is that the same Roaring Moon that Big had?" Hop wondered.
"No. This one's different." Mewtwo said, narrowing his eyes as Cian immediately sent out Chien-Pao and Alessandra sent out Athena, where Weiss joined in and called out Mari.
At that moment, several Rathian, Red Khezu and Zamtrios charged in as well.
"Oh hey, I remember these weird Sharpedo with legs!" Nemona smiled.
"You sure it's a Sharpedo?!" Arven wondered.
"...Of course they come in red flavoring." Marnie grimaced at the sight of a Red Khezu as they went to fight them off while the trio stared down the hostile Roaring Moon.
Savage Blood Knight - Roaring Moon
Roaring Moon launched himself toward the Dragonite, quickly using Dragon Rush into her as Athena was pushed back, but Athena grabbed his wings and threw him to the ground before using Iron head to push him back a bit.
Roaring Moon growled and used Night Slash point blank, knocking the Dragonite back as Roaring Moon went for another Dragon Rush after using Dragon Dance, but Chien-Pao jumped in with Ruination, pushing Roaring Moon back before he used Icicle Crash.
"Sala!" Roaring Moon grunted as he turned toward the Chien-Pao and used Flamethrower, but Chien-Pao jumped to the side to avoid the flames as Roaring Moon sharpened his feathered wings and flew toward Chien-Pao, but Mari threw down a Moonblast to strike the Roaring Moon, sending it crashing down.
"Rina Prima!" Mari said as she shot out an Ice Beam for good measure.
"Sala…!" Roaring Moon snarled as he tried to fight back and cut her up with his sharpened wings but was pushed back. He had no choice but to retreat, quickly flying deeper into Area Zero.

Resume Area Zero BGM
Alessandra walked over to Athena and used a Full Restore on her. "Good job, girl."
"Drago…"
They turned to the other group as they would see Mewtwo and Xena telekinetically wreaking havoc on the other monsters until the last Red Khezu fell, courtesy of Carmen.
"You're welcome." Carmen said.
"Never seen you terrified all that often." Bede said.
"I'm sorry, do you want to talk to the headless chicken thing?" Marnie shot back.
"No…"
"I thought so!"
"Dude ate up my turnips… that's just not right…" Captain Toad shuddered. "Who does that?!"
"Anyone with a mouth?" Umber pointed out.
"...Ha ha! Very funny."
"We good? We're good! Now let's go to that lab!" Nemona said as they walked inside.
"Hmmm…" Penny hummed loudly while folding her arms.
"Something up?" Nagisa asked.
"Yeah… it's about that time machine the professors mentioned, not to mention I've been thinking about those two weird Cyclizar the twins have. Who are they again?"
"Koraidon/Miraidon." The twins responded.
"Right, Koraidon and Miraidon. Are they… also Paradoxes?" Penny wondered.
"Well… I might as well say something." Arven said. "You see, they were found by my folks when they were working on their time machine-"
"We would believe it to be best if we took over the explanations at this point." Turo said.
"Ah, professors! Right on time." Nemona grinned.
"Koraidon and Miraidon, who we entrusted to Alessandra and Cian, were the first Pokemon that were successfully retrieved from the past and future by the time machine." Sada explained.
"Seriously?" Arven wondered.
"Through analysis of their genetic makeup, as well as their behavioral patterns… we came to realize that what we had discovered were in fact ancient and futuristic forms of Cyclizar, the Pokemon still commonly ridden in this region." Turo said.
"That makes sense, I suppose." Penny said.
"Many other Pokemon also came to this place from across the boundaries of time, but we were never able to bring over more than two specimens of Koraidon and Miraidon." Sada added.
"There's more of them?" Mewtwo narrowed his eyes.
"How interesting…" Geeta mused.
"Oh! What if they're family and they're waiting for our Raidons to come back home safely?" Nemona guessed.
"Oh, that sounds nice…" Arven mumbled.
"Somehow, I doubt it'll be a heartwarming reunion." Mewtwo said.
"Ever the pessimist, ain't ya?" Dedede responded.
"I'm being realistic here, especially considering I've looked into their minds but they shut me out compared to the two Donphan from earlier, same with the Flutter Mane that Ruby has."
"A mental block…" Yagami lamented. "That sounds familiar."
"This is getting more and more depressing…" Mahiru said as Zinnia walked over to the journal entries right as the twins deactivated the third one.
"Our time machine research has yielded a triumph—a Pokémon from the ancient past and distant future! We've named them Koraidon and Miraidon. We were expecting one new life to treasure, but what fortune to be blessed with this gift as well! We've successfully brought more and more ancient and future Pokémon to our time since the first one. We're so close to creating a world like the one in the book—a paradise where we can live happily together forever. We must make it real."
"Okay, so… uh… desperation much?" Zinnia said.
"We only have one left. I wonder what we'll get." Nemona said.
"Probably something horrifically terrifying." Carmine responded.
"Oh, I'm sure it'll be fine!" Nora smiled. "...I hope."
"Knowing how things turn out… it won't." Hiyoko said as they walked out.
They heard a monstrous roar before a massive beast slammed into the ground before they could even go deeper into the cave. Once the dust settled, they saw the Valstrax standing before them, giving them a glare and a growl.
"A Valstrax?!" Blake said in surprise as she turned to Nemona. "You took on a freaking Valstrax?!"
"Actually… I don't think I ever came across this one." Nemona said before her eyes sparkled. "It must have known how powerful I was at sending his friends to Area Zero and turned tail!"
"Suuuure, let's go with that." Captain Toad rolled his eyes.
"Come to think of it, I think Winter said she caught Cynthia fighting this thing at Mount Coronet and made it retreat." Meryl said.
"She did… and I think this might be the same one." Weiss said.
"Aw man, Cynthia fought this thing? Jealous…" Nemona frowned.
"Now's not the time to be jealous!" Carmine and Penny said in unison.
Ro-to-to-to!
Alessandra's Rotom Phone came up.
"We've watched that monster roam around Area Zero. It has taken great interest in the Tera Crystals that Terapagos had made. Take caution with that beast." Turo warned.
"Pona Pono…?" Ogerpon wondered.
Pause BGM
BGM: Valstrax Theme (Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate)
Sky Comet Dragon - Valstrax
"You guys sit back and watch!" Zinnia said as she called out Rayquaza. "We'll take it from here."
Rayquaza roared at the Valstrax as the Elder Dragon roared back at him.
The Valstrax immediately swiped at Rayquaza with his wing, but Rayquaza avoided the attack and swung around and smacked the Valstrax away with his tail.
"Everyone in the cave! They'll handle it just fine!" Geeta said as they took off running as the Valstrax turned to look at them and charged at them, but Rayquaza slammed into him to make him back off and hit him with a Hyper Beam.
The Valstrax snarled and proceeded to slam into Rayquaza, pushing him and striking him with his wings but Rayquaza fired a Dragon Pulse to get him off of him and then swung his tail to knock him back. Rayquaza would then fly and headbutt the Valstrax into a wall, pinning him there and hitting him with a point blank Hyper Beam.
The Valstrax backwinged him in retaliation as he lunged forward and chomped down on Rayquaza's neck, as he let out a pained roar that made even Zinnia wince. Rayquaza immediately used Dragon Ascent, taking Valstrax for a ride to the point that it loosened its grip as Rayquaza turned around and slammed into Valstrax, sending him crashing to the ground.
"Yeah!" Zinnia fist pumped as the Valstrax got up with a snarl before his wings glowed bright orange and roared, where "jet fuel" burst out of its wing, but then surprisingly, the flames suddenly turned into crystals before the Elder Dragon started to crystalize.
Zinnia's eyes widened. "No way… no wonder the professor said it had great interest in Terapagos's crystals!"
The Valstrax completed its crystallization, as a Fire Tera Jewel appeared on its head.
Crystallized Terror - Tera Valstrax
"It probably consumed a lot of it too… Ray Ray, let's even the odds!"
Rayquaza nodded, proceeding to Mega Evolve as both creatures roared.
The Valstrax launched high into the air as it proceeded to launch crystalized fire at Rayquaza, who swiftly avoided the attack as he proceeded to go on a rampage and slammed into Valstrax with Outrage, sending him flying back as Valstrax shook it off and proceeded to push his wings together and fired a crystalized fire laser as Rayquaza, who used Hyper Beam to counter as both collided into each other and created a crystalized explosion that made it rain crystals.
Valstrax shot out of the smoke and slammed into Rayquaza before he could react, slamming him into a wall. Rayquaza let out a growl as Valstrax had him pinned and proceeded to pepper him with crystallized fireballs, but Rayquaza bit down on his neck as Valstrax let out a screech and pulled away from him as Rayquaza batted him away with his tail.
The Valstrax launched high into the air after Rayquaza let go of him as Valstrax flew around Area Zero before coming in like a comet as Rayquaza fired a Hyper Beam, striking Valstrax but he went through the Hyper Beam and slammed into Rayquaza, sending him crashing into the third research station.
"Ray Ray!" Zinnia called out as Valstrax emerged from the research station and set his sights on Zinnia. Fear swelled within Zinnia, something that she hadn't felt in forever as she backed up as the Valstrax lunged… but something caught him by the tail. He looked behind him to see Rayquaza biting down on his tail, yanking him away from Zinnia and then clotheslined him with his own tail, knocking the Valstrax down while also ripping his tail off for good measure.
The Valstrax growled, letting out a roar as the Tera Crystal changed from Fire to Ice as it unleashed crystallized ice at Rayquaza, whio swiftly avoided the attacks as the Valstrax charged up a powerful Ice Beam-like laser at him, but Rayquaza avoided it and launched high into the air, proceeding to unleash Draco Meteor on him.
The Valstrax was peppered with meteors as he proceeded to shake it off and fired ice crystals from his wings and proceeded to try and impale Rayquaza with his winks, but Rayquaza manuevered away and grabbed one of his wings, biting down despite the ice cold wings and snarled as the Valstrax tried to shake him off as Rayquaza pulled…
RRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPP!
…And tore the whole damn wing off.
The Valstrax let out a massive pained roar as Rayquaza thrusted his tail and impaled through the Valstrax's neck, slicing it wide open as blood poured out of the beast as the Valstrax let out a growl, as it tried to change into the Dragon Tera crown, but he slowly started to fade, desperately trying to stay alive as Rayquaza flew up into the air and came crashing down with Dragon Ascent, slamming into him.
Rayquaza moved away and watched as the Valstrax struggled, kicking back his legs… before falling limp.

Rayquaza reverted back to normal and let out a loud victory cry before turning his attention toward Zinnia, letting out a growl.
"I'm okay, big guy." Zinnia smiled, gently petting him on the side as Rayquaza nodded, then she used a Full Restore on him before putting him back into the Master Ball.
Resume Area Zero BGM
Zinnia walked into the cave where she saw a lot of Tera Crystals forming around the area. "Wow…" She said in awe, and then realized everyone else was long gone. She had a feeling everyone went on ahead while she and Rayquaza dealt with the Valstrax.
She saw some Garganacl roaming around alongside some Dugtrio and Dudunsparce while Glimmora embedded themselves in the cave walls. She also saw some Scream Tail sleeping alongside some Iron Bundle.
However, one such Pokemon caught her attention as she looked on with intrigue. A robotic Hydreigon flew around without a care in the world.
"Drei…?" The robotic Hydreigon spotted Zinnia curiously as she looked at it in awe. The Hydreigon flew up to her to check her out before shrugging it off and flew off.
"A robotic Hydreigon? I wonder what the name of it is…"
She turned around and ran down the slopes where everyone else was walking up to the fourth research station. "Heeeeey!" She called out to them as they turned around while Penny was chatting it up with the Pines twins.
"Oh hey, you made it." Silver said.

"That and Geeta didn't want any of us caught in the crossfire so we went on ahead." Ruby pointed out.
"That… is actually a good point." Zinnia shrugged. "By the way, did any of you see a-"
"Robot Hydreigon? Yeah, we did." Marnie nodded as Alessandra pulled up her Pokedex app.
"Iron Jugulis, the Paradox Pokemon. It is widely believed that a regular Hydreigon fell in love with a robot from the future and gave birth to Iron Jugulis. The hypothesis is highly regarded as a laughing stock amongst sane individuals. It is about as temperamental as ordinary Hydreigon but do tend to be more docile amongst those who respect it."
"Yeah, we just let it wander around. It checked us out curiously but went on its way." Jinx explained.
"So just like what it did with me… interesting…" Zinnia mused.
"And get this: It's Dark/Flying." Alessandra chimed in.
"Dark/Flying?! And here I was thinking it was Steel/Dragon or something…"
"It's rather fascinating that it doesn't retain it's Dragon typing but now share the same typing as Galarian Moltres and Yveltal." Cian said.
"Ha! Nothing can come close to my cute fire bird." Nyx said proudly.
"Is it really made out of fire though?" Yagami wondered.
"Did you really call it cute?" Cinder raised an eyebrow.
At that moment, Moltres came out of its Pokeball and slapped Nyx upside the head with his wing.
"Ooof! Yeesh… tough crowd…" Nyx rubbed her head with a chuckle. "Okay, you're not cute. You're cool."
Moltres nodded and went back inside of his ball.
"Your bird's very opinionated." Yagami deadpanned.
"Yeah, I gathered." Nyx chuckled.
They all walked into the final research station, where they saw everything was beaten up.
"Talk about a fixer upper." Wendy said.
"Well, at least nothing landed on the monitor." Iggy said.
"Yeah, but it's a bit dusty… achoo!" Lemmy sneezed.
"Hello everyone." Turo greeted.
"Oh hey professor! What happened in here?" Nemona asked.
"Hello everyone." Sada responded.
"And hello to you too Professor Sada~!"
"Hello everyone." Turo repeated.
"...What, is there a delay…?" Bowsette wondered.
"You guys… feeling okay?" Arven asked.

"Gah! What's going on here?!" Penny wondered.
"...Initiating restarts." Both professors said at once.
A deep pit formed in Arven's stomach, causing him to latch onto it. "Mmmph…" He whimpered as Cinder and Nemona put comforting hands on his shoulders as Bowsette gave him a hug.
Geeta closed her eyes. "My suspicions were true…"
Captain Toad made his way toward the journals.
"We need more people. More time. Just so we can put this all behind us and spend time with our boy. We need another set of hands, but could they be trusted? And how long would it take them to even understand? If only there were two of us. Our new assistants have intellect and technical skills to rival our own. A bit rigid at times, but we've got no serious complaints. Productivity has doubled. The four of us even brought in a second Miraidon and Koraidon via the machine—though these two have proved aggressive."
"Oh… oh boy…"
Cian walked over and deactivated the last switch.
"Can you all hear us?" Turo spoke up. "Apologies for earlier, there seemed to be some signal interference."
"That's not what it was…" Arven said, nearly tearing up.
"The locks have all been disabled at last. Please make your way now to the Zero Lab, which is at the bottom of Area Zero."
"Poni Pon?" Ogerpon wondered in curiosity.
"Arven…? You okay, bud?" Silver asked.
"Let's… let's just go." Arven mumbled as he walked off with everyone following as they soon made their way to the Zero Lab.
And once they got down there…
"Pono?!" Ogerpon cried in shock as she ran up ahead. "Ponya Pon Pon Ponio Poni Pon Ponee!"
Gloria frowned. "They built the lab on top of the entrance of your friend?"
"Ponia Pon!" Ogerpon nodded as she ran around the perimeter of the lab until she came back, falling on her knees in sadness. "Poni Pon…" She quietly sniffled as tears ran down her cheeks where Pyrrha and Carmine immediately walked over and knelt down to hug her. "Pon-rah… Pon-Mine…"
"Shhh shhh… it's okay…" Carmine whispered, rubbing her back.
"Yeah, I definitely know what you're dealin' with, little one." Arven said as he let out a sigh, putting his hands on his hips while the rest of JNR, Mahiru, Erza, Jinx, Perrin and Hiyoko went to cheer up Ogerpon.
"Alright… here goes…" Alessandra said as she walked over to the panel.
"Wait, Aless!" Arven said as Alessandra turned to him. "I…" He closed his eyes. "Whatever… whatever happens in there…" He closed his eyes. "Just… one of you hold me back."
"Oh! Maybe it'd be best if we let the Raidons out." Ruby said. "Maybe they'd be happy to see the professors?"
"It's a good idea." Weiss nodded as the twins looked at each other and with a nod, they sent out their Raidons.
"Agia?" Miraidon wondered as Alessandra walked over to the lock and activated it, opening the door.
Up above, two creatures eyeballed them and narrowed their eyes before launching off and slamming into the ground.

"Oooh! It's a family reunion!" Nemona smiled before her smile faded as she saw the two Raidons cowering before the others. "...Guys?"
The more aggressive ones stood/hovered above their counterparts, letting out snarls before they raised their claws up. Alessandra and Cian's eyes both widened as they quickly got in front of their Raidons.
"Guys, no!" Victor said as Neo readied her umbrella.
The aggressive Raidons narrowed their eyes at the trainers and let out aggressive chuckles before swiping down at them.
CLANG!
Until they were stopped by Iron Valiant and Roaring Moon.
"Gar-Gar-Garde-Gallade."
"Sala Salllamence."
The aggressive Raidons sneered before pulling away and wandered into the lab along with the other two Paradoxes, with Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant giving them the stink eye before they walked into the lab and opened it up, where several other Paradoxes started to pour in.

BGM: Battle! Paradox Pokemon
"Whooooa, that's a lot of Paradoxes!" Hop exclaimed.
"Some we haven't even met before…" Geeta said.
The twins immediately scanned the Paradox Pokemon.
"Brute Bonnet, the Paradox Pokemon. Compared to the poisonous spores from Amoongus, Brute Bonnet's spores are known to have medicinal properties from ancient times. It is unknown if they are still potent in modern times. It is widely believed that the spores could be used for anesthesia.
Slither Wing, the Paradox Pokemon. The Volcarona of the past were known to be highly temperamental and had turf wars with fellow Slither Wing to determine which Slither Wing reigned supreme. Ongoing turf wars near volcanoes were quickly snuffed out by an annoyed Groudon as it angrily stomped on them just for some peace and quiet.
Sandy Shocks, the Paradox Pokemon. According to some researchers, Magneton were known to walk on their "legs" as they had not mastered magnetism that keeps them afloat. It is unknown if Magnemite or Magnezone did the same thing. It is theorized that Sandy Shocks wandered into an electrical magnetic cave that allowed them to magnetically float in place."
"Since when did Amoongus have tails?!" Captain Toad wondered.
"I'm sorry, does Volcarona have two paradox types?" Yang wondered.
"I'm getting there!" Alessandra said.
"Iron Hands, the Paradox Pokemon. It is unknown if a Hariyama or a human wrestler went under procedures to become cyborgs just to gain the upper hand in their fights.
Iron Moth, the Paradox Pokemon. It is widely believed that the Volcarona from the future went into space and came down as comets and meteors just out of boredom. They were thought to be UFOs. In the Galar Region, Iron Moth would get into nasty scraps with Orbeetle due to their Gigantamaxed UFO-like appearance.
Iron Thorns, the Paradox Pokemon. Unlike ordinary Tyranitar, Iron Thorns tend to be cool headed and docile, avoiding fights if they can help it. Due to the cooling systems they have, they are known to survive extremely hot temperatures and will never overheat, no matter how hard they push themselves. Ordinary Tyranitar tend to be jealous of their robot counterparts and often get into fights with them. The Iron Thorns usually come out on top, however."
Umber narrowed his eyes at an Iron Thorns and pulled out his phone and snapped a picture.
"Hey, big guy. You have a Tyranitar. You want an awesome robot Tyranitar to go with it?"
Umber put his phone away. "Alright…" He summoned his Keyblade. "Let's see if we can't knock them down!"
"There's too many of 'em, though!" Penny said.
"Alright…" Hiyoko called out her Pokemon. "Sis, I wanna borrow Basalt!"
"Wait… are you saying-"
"Yes! You guys go on ahead… I'll keep them busy!"
"Are you absolutely sure?" Mewtwo asked.
Hiyoko smirked. "I've come this far in my Pokemon journey. Why not go the extra mile? I'll be fine!"
Mewtwo nodded. "Very well."
"Take care of her, big guy." Mahiru whispered, kissing him on the cheek as Basalt walked over to protect Hiyoko as they started to run in.
"Oh come on, did Bowser seriously leave me on read? He always responds to my texts!" Umber responded.
"You seriously took a picture and sent it to Lord Bowser through all of that?!" Marnie said.
"The big guy's probably takin' a nap or he's kidnappin' the princess again. Move it!" Dedede said as Mewtwo was the last one in, taking one last look at Hiyoko before floating in.
Hiyoko flashed her tessans. "Alright, you ancient robotic motherfuckers. Let's dance!"

Once inside…
Everyone went inside as Mewtwo closed the door behind him to not let anyone else move in.
"Human and Pokemon signatures detected. Deactivating sleep mode."
They all turned to see two professors getting up robotically as they turned toward the group.
"Hello there." Turo greeted.
"A pleasure to meet all of you." Sada greeted as well.
"Agia Ga Gaaa!"
The aggressive Raidons approached them, glaring at them as Iron Valiant and Roaring Moon accompanied them.
"No. back in your balls." Turo said as he recalled his own Miraidon and Iron Valiant while Sada did the same with the other two.
"Mom… dad…?" Arven approached them. "Is it-"
Turo shook his head. "We are just AI. Your real parents were killed in the incident in the fourth research lab."
BGM: Luma (Super Mario Galaxy)
Arven went pale, his heart sinking as everyone else immediately turned to Arven sympathetically.
"The aggressive Raidons were about to kill their counterparts in an ugly territorial dispute. Our originals threw themselves in front of them to protect them… and you know the rest." Turo responded.
"No…" Arven closed his eyes, tears swelling in his eyes as he fell to the ground, punching the ground.
"Oh my gosh…" Alessandra could only say.
"So when you contacted Clavell, you-..." Cian tried to say.
"We were nothing but AI, I'm afraid." Sada nodded.
"Ponya Ponyo Pona!" Ogerpon marched up to them angrily. "Poni Ponno Poni Pon Pon!" She cried, angrily batting Turo with her arms with angry tears running down her cheeks. "Ponyi Ponya… Pona Pon Pon! Pona Pon…. Pono…"
"A strange Pokemon… but I understand you're angry." Turo said as Magnhild used her hammer to gently wrap around Ogerpon and pulled her away as Nora knelt down and hugged her close as Ogerpon turned around and softly cried in her shoulders as Ren knelt down and rubbed her back.
"She's not the only one who's upset." Mewtwo teleported in front of them, aiming his hand at the AI and charging up a Shadow Ball. "Give me a good reason as to not destroy you machines for dramatically changing certain Pokemon's DNA and using Ogerpon's friend for your damnable time machine!"
"Mewtwo, no!" Ruby exclaimed.
Geeta calmly put a hand on Mewtwo's shoulder. "Let's hear them out. The last thing we need is Arven to be traumatized over you destroying his robot parents."
Mewtwo closed his eyes, lowering his arm. "Very well… but if they do not give us an answer that I do not like-"
"I don't think it'll be worth it."
"You have every good reason to be upset. We do not blame you for wanting to harm us." Sada said. "But destroying us will not bring them back."
"I'm very much well aware." Mewtwo folded his arms with a nasty glare.
"I… I would like to talk to them…" Arven said as he stood up, wiping his eyes.
"Arven, are you-"
"I think it'd be best to let him vent…" Cinder interrupted Nemona solemnly as Arven approached his AI parents.
"Arven…" Sada frowned.
"Do… do you have any idea… how lonely I've been? How much time in solitude I've been with nothing more than Mabosstiff? Do you even realize what you two put me through? All you cared about was "research this" and "research that", not to mention all you cared about was Area Zero. I was left off to fend for myself.. The amount of solitude and loneliness I've felt for years. My only solace was talking to you by email but that stopped too!"
Arven clenched his fists, trembling. "Do you… do you have ANY idea how much I've been through because of you?! I came to see if you guys were alright, but then those damned aggressive Raidons you had severely hurt Mabosstiff to the point that I was afraid I was going to lose him too! I almost lost my best friend because of you two! If it weren't for Aless, Cian and their friends, I'd… I'd have nothing… and now because of you, my parents are DEAD!"
Arven glared angrily at the two of them.
"Do you have anything to say… mom? Dad?"
Sada closed her eyes. "I know this will mean more to you if this came from your actual mother, but…" She walked to him and wrapped her arms in a robotically loving embrace. "Your mother wanted to give this to you the next time she saw you…"
Arven froze, tears swelling in his eyes.
The hug was naturally cold as robots tend to feel, but at the same time, it felt… like a warm motherly embrace. To say he was conflicted over the hug was an understatement.
"Arven… your parents loved you dearly." Turo said. "They were focused on creating a paradise in Area Zero where you could run freely and play with the Pokemon from the past and future. We used the Terastal Energy from Terapagos to bring Pokemon from different times… but the Terastal Energy messed with their DNA and transformed them into different creatures than what we had initially intended. Not only that… but there are even more Paradoxes than you haven't seen yet."
"And what are these new Paradoxes?" Mewtwo wondered.
"That is classified information."
Mewtwo rolled his eyes. "I see…"
"Now… there is a reason we had invited you all here." Sada said, letting go of Arven. "The Paradoxes have run rampant. Initially they were docile, but over time, they turned hostile. We called the twins and their friends here for one purpose. To destroy the Professor's Time Machine."
"Destroy it? We could let Dialga take care of it." Marnie said.
"We initially thought Dialga would come and destroy it, but yet, the Lord of Time has not come… so, we're relying on you to help out." Turo explained.
"If it means no more Paradoxes, that is fine with me." Mewtwo responded.

"Now, the elevator cannot hold everyone… which is why we created a teleporter straight for the time machine for such an occasion." Sada explained, turning on a switch as a teleporter opened up in front of them.
"As soon as you are ready. Join us." Turo walked in along with Sada.
"...Anyone else feel that this might be a trap?" Bede asked.
"Yes. Let's be on our guards." Nyx nodded as they stepped into the teleporter.
Once they all stepped in, they would find themselves in a room filled with reflective glass that made some of their eyes hurt.
"Agh… my eyes…!" Mabel complained before pulling out some sunglasses and put them on. "Ah, much better~"
"Behold." Sada spoke up as the duo walked toward the center. "This is the time machine we perfected using the power of the Terastal phenomenon."
The time machine slowly activated as everyone looked at it in awe.
"Aless. Cian. Come to the time machine." Turo requested as the twins nodded, but slowly turned to their friends as they nodded back at them as the twins walked off, where everyone pulled out their Pokeballs or their weapons as Yagami channeled her psychic energy as her eyes slowly started to glow.
"To stop the time machine, you will need to use the professor's IDs, which has been embedded within the Scar-Vio book." Sada explained.
Arven pulled it out. "This one…?" He wondered as he hesitated to take it over.
Cinder put a hand on her shoulder. "It'll be okay…"
"R-right…" Arven nodded. "Mewtwo."
With a nod, Mewtwo telekinetically picked up the book and sent it toward the AI and the twins.
"Thank you." Turo nodded as Alessandra took the book. "If you place the book within the pedestal, you will be able to stop the time machine."
"There is just one issue." Sada said. "We are programmed to protect the time machine, so we will more than likely attack you. Our own desires can and will be overridden by the system's programming."
"Once that happens, we will be no more than battle machines, bound to defeat anyone identified as an obstacle by our code." Turo continued. "Our battling abilities are peerless. They are built upon analysis of all the battles carried out by the various Champions of the Paldea region. Having seen the bond between you and your Pokemon, however, we believe you two can prevail."
The twins nodded.
"Once you are ready, put the Scar-Vio book into the time machine."
Cian clenched his fists. "...Are… are we ready for this?"
Alessandra took his hand, squeezing it. "We got this."
"Right." Cian nodded as they walked over and put the book into the machine.
"IDs Confirmed: Professors Sada and Turo

Suddenly, the bright Tera crystals suddenly turned a bright orange.
"ACCESS DENIED.
SHUTDOWN COMMAND OVERRIDDEN.
REINITIALIZING."
The professors walked up and prepared for what was to come.
"It is up to all of you now." Both professors said in unison before they knelt down.
"AI SADA AND TURO SWITCHING TO SLEEP MODE.
ACTIVATING OFFENSIVE PROTOCOLS."
Suddenly, a blast of kinetic energy hit the twins and sent them flying where Gloria and Victor quickly jumped in and grabbed them, being thrown down on the ground themselves as a large tower rose up.
"Please. Defeat us." They both said in unison once more as the machine opened up above them as they turned around and put their arms up as several Master Balls dropped down.
"At… at 1ast…" Both said. "At 1ast, our dr3ams are w1th1n r3ach… and y0u're n07 g3tting in 0ur way!"
BGM: Battle! Zero Lab (Pokemon Scarlet and Violet)
Corrupted AI - AI Sada and Turo
The professors tossed their Master Balls down to the ground, calling out all of their respective Paradox Pokemon as even Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant joined the fight.
"Y0u w1ll n0t 1nterf3re." Sada said to the large crowd, snapping her fingers as Tera Crystals rose up behind Alessandra and Turo.
"INITIALIZING TOXIC MIST PROTOCOL. PARALYSIS WILL TAKE EFFECT IN TEN MINUTES."
"WHAT?!" The twins yelled.
"INITIALIZING BACKUP PROTOCOLS."
The ground rumbled as suddenly, the Paradox Pokemon that Hiyoko was taking care of rushed in.
"Saionji… no…" Mahiru whispered in horror.
"Come on, we gotta work our way through!" Perrin said as a barrier started to lower itself.
"Ponya Pon!" Ogerpon vaulted over the Tera Crystals as Ren joined her as Mewtwo teleported out as Gloria jumped out as even Weiss and Manaphy came out along with Cinder and Acnologia right as the barrier closed.
"We'll help Cian!" Ren said as he, Ogerpon, Weiss and Manaphy got into battle.
"We'll help Aless out!" Gloria said as Acnologia let out a roar.
"Send out all of your Pokemon. This isn't just a typical battle." Mewtwo said, immediately Mega Evolving into his Y form.
"Right." Alessandra nodded, calling out all of her Pokemon to help her out as Gloria sent out Cinderace and Toxtricity.
"Hari… Hari… HARIYAMA!" Iron Hands delivered a Thunder Punch toward Rio, who swiftly dodged the attack as he ran ahead and used Aqua Step to counter as Iron Hands blocked the attack and pulled back his fist for another Thunder Punch, but Cinderace came in and kicked the hand away as Balto charged in with Extreme Speed to knock the Iron Hands away.
Iron Valiant parried Wisp and kicked him back as Iron Valiant turned its eyes toward Alessandra and quickly ran ahead, sharpening its blades. Wisp quickly ran over, using Swords Dance and then swooped in at the last moment, blocking Iron Valiant and using Bitter Blade to counter him as even Toxtricity came in and swung his electrical guitar at him, but Iron Valiant backflipped to avoid the attack.
Orville flew around to avoid Iron Bundle's Freeze Dry and used Thunderbolt on it, while Iron Thorns unleashed Stone Edge behind Orville and threw it at him, but Mewtwo teleported and used Psychic to sent it back toward Iron Thorns while Pluffy and Oliver both fired Energy Balls and Windy Power Whipped him away.
"Tyrana…!"
"Pluff Pluff!"
"Arbo!"
"Bramble!"
Mewtwo turned around to face Iron Moth, as Iron Jugulis snuck up behind Mewtwo and fired a Dark Pulse, but Acnologia got in the way and unleashed Flamethrower to counter it, and then Cinder threw a few fireballs at Iron Jugulis to weaken it and had Charizard's Flamethrower overpower it and engulfed Iron Juguilis.
"Dreigah…!"
"Volca Voooool!" Iron Moth unleashed Fiery Dance before using Discharge on Mewtwo, who blocked it with a barrier while Raffia ran in and used Iron Tail to smack the Iron Moth away and then got shoved into the ground by Tut's Psychic attack.
As with Cian's group…
"Puuuufff!" Scream Tail cried as Ogerpon slammed her club into its head as El Dorado pushed it away with a Shadow Ball as well.
"Mana… Manaaaaaaaaa!" Manaphy clapped his hands as his tails glowed, unleashing Heart Swap on Flutter Mane and Sandy Shocks, causing Flutter Mane to fall and Sandy Shocks hobbled.
"Misdrea?!/Magneton?!"
Flutter Mane tried to walk while Sandy Shocks tried to jump up and float, but to their dismay, they couldn't.
"Welcome~!" Manaphy giggled mischievously as Weiss let out a giggle before having Tusky ram into them effortlessly.
"Volca Ca!" Slither Wing launched a Zen Headbutt toward Homura, but Spiritomb jumped in and blocked the hit with a smirk while Cian tossed the Shiny Stone toward his Floette, causing her to evolve.
"Alright, Pamela! You know what to do! Same with you, Al Ghoul!"
"Florge!/Tomb!"
Sure, let them take all the fun. Homura rolled her eyes before laying her eyes on Brute Bonnet who was already having a hard time against the Legendaries. Save some for me~! She smirked as she jumped in and slammed into the Brute Bonnet.
"Moooonguuuh!"
Pamela unleashed a Moonblast on Slither Wing, but Roaring Moon came swooping in to take the hit and was immediately knocked down as Al Ghul used Hypnosis on Slither Wing to make it fall asleep before using Dream Eater to make it cry out in agony.
"Tomb Tomb Tomb~!"
"T-MINUS: FIVE. MINUTES."
Both AI pulled out Tera Orbs and charged them up as they tossed them down to both Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant, both of them Terastalizing as a Dragon Tera for Roaring Moon and Fighting Tera for Iron Valiant.
"We gotta hurry!" Alessandra said.
"Workin' on it!" Gloria responded.
Iron Valiant jumped over Wisp and made its way over to Alessandra as Gloria turned her head. "LASS, LOOK OUT!"
Alessandra turned her head as Iron Valiant swiped at her, but the former swiftly backflipped as Iron Valiant charged ahead and swiped at her again, but she quickly weaved her body and then sweep kicked Iron Valiant to trip him up and then Alessandra grabbed Iron Valiant's wrist and suplexed him to the ground,
"Holy shite, ye still got it!"
Alessandra stood back up. "I still got it!" She turned to Gloria with a smirk. "You up for wrestling like old times after this?"
"I donnae see why not!"
"Focus!" Cinder and Mewtwo scolded together as they focused on the other Paradoxes that were dwindling one by one.
With Cian's group, Roaring Moon staggered up and let out a roar as he flew directly toward Cian, sharpening his wings and charging ahead, but Weiss jumped in and immediately transformed into her Fierce Deity form, blocking with her sword and parrying him as she stabbed the ground as glyphs came out and pelted Roaring Moon with ice chunks that knocked the Paradox Pokemon back where Tusky unleashed Ice Shard for good measure as well.
Back with Iron Valiant, the Paradox Pokemon sprang back up and charged at Aless, but Cinderace and Rio jumped in and both water/fire kicked Iron Valiant away as Gloria transformed into her Latias form and unleashed Psybeam on him, then Mewtwo used Psystrike to finish him off.
Roaring Moon got back up and roared at Weiss as he went flying in with a Dragon Claw, but Willy jumped in and unleashed Blizzard, striking Roaring Moon as the Paradox Salamence roared and slammed into the ground in defeat.
"Titan!" The Cetitan bellowed triumphantly.

"SAFETY PROTOCOL SHUTDOWN. THIRTY SECONDS REMAINED."
"Phew… that was getting a bit dicey…" Hop said as Captain Toad sat on a KO'd Great Tusk with turnips surrounding him.
"I just beat a woolly mammoth with turnips! Where you at, big guy!" Captain Toad boasted.
"Dona…"

"Phew…" Both Kokoro and Dipper sighed in relief.
"I was just gettin' warmed up. I coulda used at least another fifteen seconds tops!" Dedede said.
"Twenty for me. I was getting in the zone." Umber said.
"Twenty five." Yagami smiled.
"Twenty eight." Carmen chuckled.
"Alright, we get it, ya showboats." Nyx shook her head while rolling her eyes.
Moltres let out a small screech.
"Twenty nine?" Mewtwo raised an eyebrow. "I'd believe it."
Nyx sighed. "Of course."
However, she had a fond look on her face.. This is why I love these dorks.
Geeta chuckled as she walked over toward the AI. "I believe this has gone on long enough."
"Indeed…" Turo nodded. "The time machine is no more."
Sada smiled, looking at Arven who gave them a sad look. "You… you have grown so much…"
Suddenly, the alarm started to blare.
"SECURITY SYSTEM FAILURE.
SECURITY SYSTEM FAILURE.
THREAT TO TIME MACHINE DETECTED.
THREAT TO TIME MACHINE DETECTED."
"Now what?!" Penny wondered.
"It… it cannot be…!" Turo grunted.
"An obstacle is preventing the time machine from performing as intended. Activating Paradise Protection Protocol to remove the offending obstacle."
"What…?! Was keeping the time machine running truly all the professors cared about?!" Sada wondered.
"Locking all Pokeballs except those registered to Sada and Turo's IDs."
"Wait, what?!" Carmine wondered as she tried to activate one of her Pokeballs but was locked. "It can do that?!"
"Program Initializing… gathering Terastal Energy."
Geeta gasped, seeing Terastal Energy rising from the AI Professor's feet. As such, it slowly crept over to Geeta, but Mewtwo swiftly pulled her to safety.
"No… this is… too much for… you…!" Sada grunted.
"You must… run! All of you!" Turo exclaimed as their eyes flickered.
"AI Sada and Turo disabled. Paradise Protection Protocol initialized."

The two AI Professors sent out their last Pokemon, which were the more aggressive Raidons.
Ready For Slaughter - Iron Serpent and Winged King
Ruby tried to throw a Pokeball into the air, but it landed without even sending out Scarlet. "Crap! We can't call anyone else out!"
"Okay, what do we do? These things are gonna kill us if we don't do something!" Penny said.
"I can blow 'em up, stand back!" Jinx said, pulling out her rocket launcher.
"Wait!" Erza put her hand out. "There are only two Pokeballs in here with such IDs. Aless! Cian!"
The twins eyes widened in realization before they pulled out their Future and Ancient Balls and with a nod, they threw them into the air.

BGM: Paradise Protection Protocol - Phase 2 (Pokemon Scarlet and Violet)
Both Raidons came out and landed on the ground, letting out war cries before realizing who they were going up against.
"You two can do it! We believe in you!" Alessandra said.
"You got it!" Cian cheered them on.
Both Raidons smirked before they launched high into the air, transforming into their battle forms and faced their counterparts.
"Graaaah!"
"Agiaaaaa!"
There was a loud third roar echoing from beyond, but no one paid that much attention to it.
"COME ON, YOU GUYS! YOU CAN DO IT!" Nemona cheered as Koraidon lunged and swiped at Winged King, where it proceeded to bat him away and struck him with a Giga Impact as Iron Serpent fired a Hyper Beam into Miraidon.
"Agia Ga…!" Miraidon grunted before shaking it off and using Electro Drift, slamming into Iron Serpent and shoved him into a wall as everyone cheered them on, both of them feeling more powerful as Koraidon jumped in with Collision Course, hitting Winged King in the stomach and pushed him away.
Winged King growled as he used Giga Impact again, but Koraidon grabbed him and shoved him into the ground while Miraidon batted away several Power Gems and unleashed Dragon Pulse.
"Sis, your Tera Orb!" Cian said as Alessandra looked down at her pocket and turned to her brother.
"Your Tera Orb's glowing too!"
The twins both had the same idea and with a nod, they pulled out their Tera Orbs and threw it at the Raidons, Terastalizing the both of them with their Dragon Tera Jewels.
"AGIAAAA!"
The more aggressive Raidons narrowed their eyes as they both Taunted them before unleashing another Power Gem and Flamethrower, but both Raidons unleashed Tera Blast as both Iron Serpent and Winged King's eyes widened as the Tera Blasts connected, sending them flying toward the AI Professors, slamming into them to knock them down, and in turn, knocking out the Paradise Protection Protocol.

"Ooooh!" Alessandra winced. "You two okay up there?" She called up to them.
"We are fine." Turo said as he and Sada got up and brushed themselves off. "...However, the time machine will not shut down unless we do it manually."
"As such… this is where we part ways." Sada said. "It is for the best. We will go to the past and future with our two Raidons to make sure none will cause harm again."
"If we don't shut it down, then more will come and break through Area Zero, possibly terrorizing Paldea if we let it."
"We entrust our tamed Paradox Pokemon to you, along with any of the wild Paradoxes that may take interest in you."
The time machine started to light up as they started to float up.
"No… WAIT!" Arven ran after them.
"Arven!" Cinder said as Bowsette grabbed a hold of him.
"Don't! You'll be sucked in there too!" Bowsette said as Arven looked on with tears in his eyes as Sada looked at Arven and blew him a kiss toward him.
"Take care of him. All of you." Turo said. "Their greatest treasure was their child."
"We bid you… adieu!" Sada waved as they disappeared alongside the two Raidons, and then the whole room turned dark.
"...Arven?" Alessandra walked over to him. "Are you…?"
"I'll…" Arven sniffled. "I'll… I'll be fine… let's… let's just go…"
With a nod, they went back into the teleporter with Arven trudging back as Bowsette and Rei made sure to keep him company, rubbing his back as they had the Paradox Pokemon followed.
Once they got out, they saw Hiyoko, her Pokemon and Basalt knocked out with stars circling around them.
"Hiyoko!" Mahiru ran over along with JNPR and co. "Hiyoko… Basalt! What happened?!"
"Nnngh…" Hiyoko groaned as her head was pounding as Mahiru picked her up. "There… there were too many of them… more just kept coming and just overwhelmed all of us… I saw… something land in front of me before passing out."
"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
They all turned to see Bowser standing on top of a mountain of KO'd Paradox Pokemon. "THESE CHUMPS WERE NOTHIN'! BWAHAHAHAHA!"
"...You left me on read!" Umber deadpanned.
Bowser dropped down. "I got too excited. Whatever!"
"Hey Bowser. How's it going, man?" Nyx casually greeted.
"Sup Trapper." Bowser gave her a nod as the Paldeans, Perrin, Carmine and twins (plus Penny), looked at Bowser in bewilderment. "...What. Never seen a Koopa before?"
"Oh. My. Gosh. A talking Paldean Turtonator!" Nemona's eyes sparkled.
Bowser blinked. "What."
"You do know you're in the Pokemon world, right? And you're not even human?" Nyx pointed out.
"Ah, I guess you're right abou-"
"I'd say Bowser is more of a Tauros." Umber said.
"YOU CALLIN' ME A COW?!" Bowser yelled.
"I'd say that's a good description of you." Dedede taunted.
"Rrrgh! You want to go, penguin!" Bowser snarled.
"Bring it, tough guy!"
"Alright, break it up!" Marnie got between the two. "You guys can kill each other later but now's not a good time."
"Hmph!" Bowser and Dedede looked away from each other. "Party pooper."
"Sooo… how did you drop in?" Captain Toad asked.
"I'm so glad you asked!" Bowser smirked.
Earlier…
"Nnngh! There's too many of 'em…! Gah!" Hiyoko was punched to the ground by an Iron Hands as she fell on her back, seeing something coming down from above. "Wha…?"
BGM: Bowser's Theme (Mario Strikers Charged)
Bowser free fell and landed right on top of Iron Hands, where Hiyoko passed out immediately as Bowser turned his attention toward the Paradox Pokemon.
The Paradox Pokemon looked at him in bewilderment as steam came out of Bowser's nostrils as they all charged at him. The Koopa King let out a loud roar and charged at them head on.

Back in the present…
"Heheheh." Bowser chuckled, his arms folded in pride.
"Although I'm curious… how did you even find us anyway?" Umber asked.
"Kamek put a tracking spell on you."
"YOU'RE NO BETTER THAN GUZMA!"
"Really, a troublemaking Koopa King known for kidnapping princesses is no better than a troublemaking boss of some knuckleheads from Alola? Ya coulda fooled me." Marnie snarked.
"Oh, zip it, ya punk!"
Marnie chuckled, playfully sticking her tongue out at Umber.
"You have some really interesting friends…" Cian whispered.
"Eh, keeps us on our toes." Gloria shrugged as they walked off.
"So… how are we going to figure out who goes to whom?" Getta wondered, regarding the Paradox Pokemon.
"I'm sure we will figure it out." Mewtwo said.
"I call dibs on Iron Valiant!" Kotoko spoke up.
"I got Jugulis!" Zinnia exclaimed.
"I got a new friend for Kaiju!" Bowser said happily.
"Ya know, I could probably do something with Iron Moth…" Nyx said.
"I'm taking a liking to Brute Bonnet." Captain Toad chuckled.
"I think I'll have Scream Tail in my team!" Nemona grinned, hearing the others let out an "Oh no…".
"I'll give this big guy as a present for Cardin." Masaru said, wrapping his arm around a wild shiny Iron Treads.
"...Well, it's a start." Mewtwo said as they made their way up and out of Area Zero as they started to walk back, where unbeknownst to all of them, six Paradox Pokemon watched from afar. Three were ancient beasts. Three were robotic Swords.
Arven let out a sigh, wiping his tears. "Honestly… I feel lighter after that. Like… a burden's been lifted."
"Well, that's good!" Alessandra smiled.
"And honestly… not only is Mabosstiff my greatest treasure, but you guys too. Including you guys." He said, referring to Cinder and her family.
Cinder smiled. "Glad we could help."
"Rawr." Acnologia nodded.
At that moment, they heard sniffling from someone else.
"Mama…?" Manaphy wondered as they turned to see Weiss beside herself, clutching her chest.
"Are you okay?" Meryl asked.
"Y-Yeah… I'm fine. I… I just regained all of my hope… because…" She looked at her friends. "I just figured out what my greatest treasure is." She wiped her tears. "All of you…"
"Aww, Weiss!" Ruby hugged her as did the rest of everyone, where Pit, Claude, Sun and Neptune also hugged her as well.
"Good to have you back." Meryl smiled as she hugged her.
Weiss nodded. "Yeah…" She smiled, hugging Meryl as well.
"Well, glad she's fully back." Pit said.
"Yeah!" Ruby nodded.
Weiss smiled fondly before pulling away from Meryl and suddenly turned her back to them.
"...Weiss?" Meryl wondered.
"Meryl. Get into position."
"Huh?" Meryl wondered. "What are you-" Her eyes widened. "R-Right now? Here? You sure about that?"
"I'm sure of it. Besides, Arven needs to get his mind off things." She turned around, pointing Myrtenaster at Meryl. "I challenge you to a duel, Meryl!"
Meryl's eyes widened in surprise before immediately jumping back and bringing out her weapon. "Alright, let's do this then!"
"Ooooh, this looks exciting~!" Nemona grinned.
"Well… it was bound to happen eventually. Come on, Manaphy. Let's clear the area." Blake said.
"Mana!" Manaphy nodded, hopping into Blake's arms as they all went over to the fields to watch the two fight as Mewtwo and Yagami put up barriers in front of everyone before they could get caught up in the crossfire.
BGM: Celestial (Ed Sheeran)
Weiss and Meryl took their stances before they both lunged, clashing against their blades as Weiss jumped back as Meryl aimed her Gunlance and fired a few pink fireballs at Weiss, but she stabbed the ground to create a wall of ice as the pink flames exploded.
Weiss rushed through the smoke, pulling our Eiskonigen and swung her blade into Meryl, who swiftly parried her and then threw out a few blue fireballs at her, sending her away as Meryl swooped in, changing her gunlance into her halberd and swung down but Weiss blocked and parried the attack, backflipping in the process.
Weiss would then transform into her Sheikah form and quickly threw a barrage of Kunai at her before making a few handsigns to create clones of herself.
Meryl tossed up a yellow fireball as her Halberd was wrapped in pink fire and swung it down on the ground, creating an explosion that wiped out the clones as Weiss swooped in and swung at Meryl, but the yellow fireball fired a bolt of lightning on Weiss, causing her to yelp as Meryl swiftly swung into her, striking Weiss a few times before giving her a fiery kick.
Weiss immediately recovered, throwing a few explosive kunai and shuriken to the ground as Meryl jumped away from the explosions as Weiss barreled through the smoke, but Meryl narrowed her eyes and jumped into the air to avoid the attack as she switched back to her Gunlance and fired a barrage of orange fire, hitting Weiss and sending her out of the smoke while the other "Weiss" disappeared in a puff of smoke.
Weiss recovered, only for Meryl to snipe her with Blorange fire, freezing her feet on the spot as Meryl swooped in, switching her weapon back to the Halberd and wrapped it in pink flames as she slashed at Weiss, where the explosion sent her flying into the air.
Weiss opened her eyes and transformed into her Fierce Deity form, landing gracefully as Meryl whistled, calling her Phoenix over as she swung her arms up and clapped, transforming into her Phoenix form.
Both of them lunged and swung their weapons, sending fiery and icy energy everywhere as they were pushed back, then Weiss stabbed the ground as an ice pillar smacked Meryl from underneath, sending her flying into the air but she summoned her wings and flew above her.
She flapped her wings together, sending fiery feathers toward Weiss as she put up a reflective barrier to send them back before jumping up high and using a Kacrackle Slash on her, but Meryl swiftly countered and slashed Weiss down, but she used a few Glyphs to catch her fall.
Meryl launched through the glyphs and slashed down, but Weiss aimed her hand and launched a blizzard to freeze Meryl in place, but Meryl lit herself up and then flipped over, heel kicking Weiss and slamming her to the ground.
Weiss shot back up as Meryl landed and slashed at her, but Weiss rolled out of the way and spin slashed her from behind, making Meryl stumble as Weiss turned around and slashed her a few times gracefully, but Meryl blocked with her wings and punched the ground to create an explosion to knock Weiss away.
Meryl turned around to face Weiss as she threw a few green fireballs as Weiss would deflect them, but one fireball hit her and was pulled toward her. Weiss prepared herself and slashed through Meryl, sliding across the ground as Meryl fell on one knee.
However, Meryl steadied herself up as Weiss turned around to face her as Meryl caught herself ablaze as Weiss had an icy aura around her.
Both of them let out a war cry and launched themselves toward each other, swinging their weapons into each other as they got closer, then shoved their bodies into each other, resulting in a powerful fiery/icy explosion.
As the smoke settler, both sisters stood before each other as Meryl fell on her knees, but Weiss fell flat on her stomach, turning back to normal.
End BGM
Both girls panted as Meryl hobbled over and fell next to her sister, Weiss finding the strength to roll on her back.
"Looks like I win…"
"Yeah…"
Both smiled, laughing at the same time as Meryl pulled herself up and hugged Weiss, both of them still laughing heartily.
"Well, glad they're both in good spirits." Blake smiled.
The sisters helped each other up and hobbled over to Mesagoza together, both of them sharing a fist bump while doing so.
Carmine let out a wistful sigh seeing the two. "If only Kiki and I were like that…"
Phew... that took a while. Didn't exactly help that I was sick for a bit.

Indeed. Decided to watch the second half of Cobra Kai season 6 while I was down and out. (HELL OF A CLIFFHANGER, THOUGH. WHAT THE HELL, GUYS?!) and I also got a new computer. There wasn't anything wrong with my Chromebook... I just missed playing games on Steam. (Thank goodness the bot crisis in TF2 is no more.)
