Chapter 7: Evillustrator
Hey everyone! I'm back with a new chapter! I want to thank Cloud4012 for helping me with my OC and everything else. Happy holidays and have a Happy New Year! FYI, from now on, some of the miraculous villains will be upgraded. Anyway, sit back, relax, review, and enjoy!
It was Science class, and Leo and Oliver were sitting down, taking notes on Ms. Mendeleiev's lecture. As she walked past them, she stopped at Nathaniel's table and noticed him drawing.
"Nathaniel!" she snapped, getting his attention. "What are you drawing?" she demanded.
"Wh...what?" Nathaniel stammered, unsure of what to say.
"This is why you're failing science," she said, unimpressed.
"I'm sorry," Nathaniel mumbled apologetically.
"Go to the Principal's Office and show him that chicken scratch. Then you'll be sorry," she ordered as Nathaniel gathered his things.
As he walked to the front, he tripped over Chloé's backpack, causing his sketchbook to fall out. The book opened to a sketch of him dressed as a superhero, saving Marinette.
Chloé picked up the sketchbook and laughed. "Look, Sabrina! It's him as a superhero. And look who he's saving—it's Marinette! He's totally crushing on you, Marinette," she mocked.
"Give it back!" Nathaniel snapped, grabbing his sketchbook and rushing out.
"Wait, Nathaniel!" Leo started to get up, ready to follow him, but Ms. Mendeleiev fixed him with a glare.
"Do you want to go to the office too, Leo?" she asked sharply.
"No, ma'am," Leo replied, sitting back down.
"Good. Now get back to work," she said, moving on.
In his hidden lair, Hawk Moth watched the scene unfold.
"Artists can be so emotional. I love it," he murmured, as a butterfly fluttered into his hands, ready to be turned into an Akuma. "Fly to him, my little Akuma. Draw him into our evil web."
The Akuma flew out the window, heading straight for Nathaniel.
As Nathaniel walked down the school hallway, he dropped his pencil. When he bent down to pick it up, the Akuma merged with it.
"Are you tired of having your creative spirit crushed? Evillustrator, I am your friend and patron of the arts. I'm here to offer you support, but know that this power doesn't come for free. There are some items I need you to retrieve," Hawk Moth's voice echoed.
"Just tell me what you want," Nathaniel replied with a grin as he transformed.
Miraculous Tales of Fireblaze and Frost Fang Theme Song
In the daytime, I'm Leo
Leo is walking through the city streets in daylight, wearing his casual clothes, blending in like any other normal kid.
Just a normal boy with a normal life
Leo sits in class at school, scribbling in his notebook, and talking to friends.
And In the daytime, I'm Oliver, just a cool kid with an amazing life.
Oliver is shown skating through the streets, grinning confidently.
but There's something about us that no one knows yet because we have a secret!
Leo transforms into Fireblaze, flames swirling around him as he ignites his powers. Oliver transforms into Frost Fang, icy winds swirling around him as snowflakes form.
Another day, I'm back at school,
But the city calls and it's time to rule,
I've got the spark, the flame inside,
When danger strikes, there's no need to hide!
Fireblaze leaps across the rooftops, flames trailing behind him as he runs toward an akumatized villain. Frost Fang joins him, riding a wave of ice, drawing his frost-coated daggers.
Oh-oh-oh, when the cold sets in,
Oh-oh-oh, let the fight begin,
Oh-oh-oh, with ice and snow,
We'll freeze the foe!
Frost Fang casts a powerful ice blast, creating an icy barrier to protect his teammates, then slides across the frozen ground to deliver a swift attack alongside Fireblaze.
Miraculous, we light the sky!
Ready to fight when danger is high!
Miraculous, the fire within!
With power and heart, we'll always win!
Fireblaze swings his swords while Frost Fang sends icicles flying at the villain. Their combined powers create a swirling vortex of fire and ice.
By day we hide, just playing it cool,
But when we fight, we bend the rules,
We'll burn so bright, and freeze the ground,
No villain's safe, when we're around!
Fireblaze summons a glowing sun, while Frost Fang summons a storm of ice. Their attacks combine, sending fire and frost blasting through the villain's defenses.
Oh-oh-oh, the cold is biting strong,
Oh-oh-oh, but with Fireblaze, we can't go wrong!*
Oh-oh-oh, and when we feel the ice,
That's when we strike twice!
Frost Fang and Fireblaze charge alongside Ladybug and Cat Noir. Their teamwork is flawless as they take down the villain with their powers perfectly synchronized.
Miraculous, we light the sky!
Ready to fight when danger is high!
Miraculous, the fire and frost!
With power and heart, we'll never be lost!
Fireblaze lands the final fiery blow, while Frost Fang freezes the villain's weapon. Cat Noir uses his staff to knock the weapon out of the villain's hands, allowing Ladybug to capture the Akuma. The city returns to normal as they fist bump.
There's no stopping us,
With fire and frost combined,
We'll protect the world,
One battle at a time!
Fireblaze and Frost Fang stand on a rooftop at sunrise, looking out over Paris. Ladybug and Cat Noir stand beside them, ready for the next challenge.
Miraculous, we light the way!
Fighting for justice every day!
Miraculous, the flame and frost,
With Ladybug and Cat Noir, we're never lost!
Leo and Oliver de-transform back into their normal selves, smiling at each other as they head to school with their friends.
Miraculous!
Back in class, Ms. Mendeleiev walked to the front.
"The next particle physics presentation group is Adrien, Nino, Oliver, and Alya," she announced, prompting Adrien and Nino to fist-bump, while Alya sent Oliver a wink, causing him to blush.
"So lucky," Marinette muttered enviously.
"Yeah, I know, this is messed up," Leo said with a sigh.
"And the next group will be Sabrina, Chloé, Leo, and Marinette," Ms. Mendeleiev continued, making Leo and Marinette gasp.
"So unlucky," Alya whispered sympathetically.
"Yeah, sorry, cuz," Oliver added, looking over at Leo.
"Uh, can't you put them in another group? We do better on our own," Chloé protested.
"This is a group presentation, not pairs. Deal with it," Ms. Mendeleiev replied firmly.
"I hate dealing with it," Chloé growled as the bell rang.
"Any chance you want to trade?" Marinette asked Alya hopefully.
"And work with those two? Sorry. But I promise to talk all about you to Adrien," Alya teased, making Marinette smile.
"You're the best!" Marinette said, hugging her.
"What about you, Ollie?" Leo asked, looking at Oliver.
"Yeah, sorry, man, but I've gotta stick with my girl," Oliver replied, giving Alya a quick kiss on the cheek.
"Okay, I guess," Leo said, shrugging.
At the lockers, Chloé was gathering her things while chatting with Sabrina when Marinette and Leo walked over.
"Forget it, Sabrina. I don't have time for dumb projects. Besides, now you have Marinette *and* Leo to do the work for you," Chloé said with a smirk.
"Uh...okay, that's fine. We'll just...do the work ourselves," Sabrina said hesitantly, trying to keep the peace.
Marinette raised an eyebrow, not buying it. "Wait, why can't you help us with the project, Chloé? This is supposed to be a group effort."
Chloé scoffed, rolling her eyes. "None of your business, nosy."
Leo stepped forward. "Actually, it *is* her business—and mine too. We're all in this group together, Chloé."
Marinette nodded, backing him up. "Exactly. We all need to pitch in. It's only fair."
Sabrina, trying to smooth things over, said, "It's okay, Marinette, Leo. You and I can handle the research and writing, and Chloé can do the presentation. That way, it's...equal."
Leo frowned. "That's not really equal at all. Sounds more like we're doing all the work while Chloé gets credit."
"Yeah, this isn't fair," Marinette agreed, crossing her arms. "Is this how you two usually split things up?"
Sabrina shrugged, looking a little embarrassed. "Ever since grade school. I've been doing Chloé's homework, and we've been BFFs ever since."
Chloé turned to them, sneering. "Do you two have a problem with that?"
Marinette looked at her firmly. "Actually, yeah. Sabrina, Chloé's just taking advantage of you. You don't have to do whatever she says. Real friends don't treat each other like that."
Chloé's face twisted in irritation. "Not only am I Sabrina's best friend, I'm her only friend. So she better do what I say—because without me, she's got nothing."
Leo stepped forward. "Maybe Sabrina's better off with no friends than being stuck with someone who doesn't respect her."
Marinette added, "I agree. I'd rather have no friends than be treated like that."
Chloé rolled her eyes, clearly annoyed. "Whatever. I have way more important things to do. My hair's a mess, and Jean-Claude promised to work his magic. Later, losers." She tossed her hair and strutted off.
As Marinette and Leo turned to leave, Sabrina hurried after them, her face bright with excitement.
"Marinette! Leo! That was amazing, how you stood up to Chloé," Sabrina said with a big smile.
Marinette smiled back. "That's what friends are for, right?"
Sabrina nodded eagerly. "You both are my friends, and I'm actually excited to work with you on this project. We'll do the best presentation together, and maybe...maybe I won't let Chloé push me around anymore."
Leo gave her a thumbs-up. "That's the spirit, Sabrina! Looks like this project is already off to a good start."
Sabrina beamed. "Thanks, Leo. Thanks, Marinette. See you guys in the library!"
As Sabrina hurried off, Marinette and Leo shared a smile.
"Looks like you're making some real changes around here," Leo said with a grin.
Marinette laughed softly. "One step at a time."
In the library, Oliver and Adrien were getting books for their presentation. "See anything that might help us?" Adrien asks.
"Uh, this might have a couple of facts," Oliver said reaching for a book.
"Perfect, but Oliver do me a favor when we start working on the report promise me you'll focus more on the paper and less on your girlfriend." Adrien chuckles as Oliver's face turns red.
"Shut up, at least I have one," Oliver said when they overheard Chole talking.
What do you mean you're not doing my assignment?" Chole asks furious.
"Marinette and Leo are right! I'm not your slave, Chloé," Sabrina said firmly.
"I never actually said that," Marinette replied.
"And 'slave' is a pretty strong word," Leo muttered.
Chloé, unfazed, held out a stylish beret for them to see. "But didn't Marinette or Leo buy this super-cute beret at Gabriel's? I did. And maybe, Sabrina, I could let you borrow it."
Marinette smirked. "Are you trying to bribe her into staying your friend with a hat?"
"Yeah, this is just...sad," Leo added with a shake of his head.
Sabrina's eyes sparkled. "A really, really adorable hat that would look fantastic on me!" she said, almost convinced.
"Excuse me, but you're trying to steal my friend from me—with homework!" Chloé snapped.
Just then, berets started raining down on Chloé from above. "Hey! My hair!" she shrieked as a giant hair dryer appeared out of nowhere and began chasing her.
Nearby, Adrien and Oliver looked on in shock before sprinting off in different directions.
"Plagg, claws out!" Adrien said as his ring glowed, transforming him into Cat Noir.
"Cloud, fangs out!" Oliver called, his bracelet glowing as he transformed into Frost Fang.
Transformation Sequence
The camera zoomed in on Oliver's glowing bracelet, which burst with icy blue energy.
First, it focused on his feet, where icy trails formed sleek, white-and-blue boots with silver accents. The energy traveled up his legs, forming a fitted, white-and-blue bodysuit with shimmering icy patterns and subtle wolf-like designs along the edges, casting a soft frosty glow.
Next, the camera captured his hands as frost energy spiraled down from his bracelet, forming sleek white gloves with blue, frosty patterns extending along his forearms. In his right hand, the mist condensed into a silver dagger, etched with a fierce wolf motif. He gripped it confidently as the cold intensified around him.
Then, the camera zoomed in on his face. Frosty mist shaped a sharp silver mask over his eyes, the edges resembling frozen wolf fur. His eyes glowed with a piercing, ice-blue hue, filled with determination. Icy winds whipped around him as silver wolf ears materialized atop his head, twitching slightly in the breeze.
The transformation neared completion as the camera zoomed out, showing frost swirling up his back. A wolf-like tail formed from icy mist, appearing with a snap and swaying lightly behind him, completing his transformation.
Finally, Frost Fang landed gracefully as the mist dissipated in a final burst of icy wind. His dagger glinted as he spun it with ease. With a confident smirk, he crouched low in a wolf-like stance, his tail and ears twitching, ready for action as a cold breeze swirled around him.
Running behind a bookcase, Marinette opened her bag. "Time to transform. Tikki, spots on!" she said as her earrings glowed, transforming her into Ladybug.
Behind another bookcase, Leo let Soll fly out of his jacket pocket.
"Aww man, I was having a good nap," Soll complained.
"Sorry, buddy, but it's hero time," Leo replied.
"Soll, flame on!" he called. Soll flew into his necklace, which immediately began to glow.
The camera zoomed in on the fiery glow of Leo's necklace as flames burst out, swirling around him.
Transformation Sequence
The shot zoomed in on his hands first. Fiery sparks ignited at his fingertips, forming sleek black gloves as flames traveled up his arms, with red and orange streaks shimmering like living embers. The fire shaped into twin black-and-red gauntlets, faintly glowing with heat.
Next, the camera shifted to his face. A trail of flame swirled over his eyes, forming a smooth black mask with thin, fiery accents. His eyes flared with a vibrant orange glow as his hair briefly caught fire, then settled into a smoldering ember-like shine.
Flames cascaded down his body, melting away his regular clothes and replacing them with a form-fitting red suit. Golden and orange flame patterns danced across his chest, forming the symbol of a phoenix that radiated heat like a living flame. Flames rose to form a sleek red cape that flickered and flowed like fire in the wind, trailing dramatically behind him.
The fire continued down to his legs and feet, shaping into sleek, flame-patterned boots that left glowing embers in their wake. His entire suit shimmered with heat, a mix of deep reds, oranges, and flickering gold, giving off a warm, fiery aura.
For the final touch, the camera zoomed back to his hands, where two swirling flames materialized at his sides, shaping into twin swords. The flames died down to reveal intricate, phoenix-feather-like details etched into the glowing swords.
With a burst of fiery sparks, Fireblaze spun the swords effortlessly in his hands, striking a heroic pose with the twin swords crossed behind him, his cape billowing with heat as the air around him shimmered in the glow of fire.
Meanwhile, Chloé is cornered by the giant hairdryer, which inches closer until Ladybug jumps on top of it, causing the hairdryer to buck and spin like a wild bronco.
"Run and hide!" Ladybug shouted as Cat Noir dropped in.
"I got wind you were getting blown away by a hairy situation," Cat Noir said with a smirk.
Just then, Fire Blaze and Frost Fang landed beside him.
"Not the time for puns, buddy!" Fire Blaze said, rushing after Ladybug.
"Yeah, we've got a mission to do!" Frost Fang agreed, running alongside them.
Fire Blaze drew one of his swords and tried to slice the hairdryer in half, but it moved too quickly. Frost Fang leapt up with his dagger and attempted to slice the bottom, but the hairdryer blew him away, sending him crashing into a bookshelf.
Ladybug swung her yoyo, wrapping it around a metal support pole. She yanked hard, causing the hairdryer to spin out of control and fall to the ground, giving Cat Noir an opening to jump down and smash it with his staff.
Looking up to the second floor, they spotted a figure. His skin was light purple, and his hair, brushed back, was orange with purple tips. He wore a dark purple beret and a butterfly-shaped mask of the same color. His outfit was a white suit with dark purple stripes, and on his chest was a black circle containing smaller red, yellow, and blue circles. Strapped to his arm was what looked like a tablet. This was Evillustrator.
"That guy looks pretty sketchy," Cat Noir remarked.
They jumped to the second floor and ran towards him, but he pulled out a pencil and drew on his tablet. Suddenly, a wall materialized in front of them, causing the heroes to crash into it.
"What the heck?" Frost Fang groaned.
"This is some Looney Tunes stuff," Fire Blaze muttered.
Ladybug looked around, realizing the villain had vanished. "Where did he go?" she asked.
"I don't know, but he sure has a way of illustrating his point," Cat Noir said, earning a groan from Ladybug.
At Le Grand Paris Hotel, the four heroes decided to have a word with Chloé about the attack.
"So, it seems this Evillustrator is targeting you specifically. Any idea why?" Cat Noir asked.
"No, everyone adores me," Chloé replied.
"Yeah, 'cause you're so *adorable*" Ladybug said sarcastically, though Chloé didn't seem to catch on.
"Yay! Ladybug just said I'm adorable! I totally need a picture of us!" Chloé exclaimed, snapping a selfie with Ladybug.
"God, I feel bad for you, Marinette," Fire Blaze muttered under his breath.
"You good, Blaze?" Frost Fang asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Fire Blaze said, brushing it off.
"Well, that was… unpleasant," Ladybug said, looking annoyed.
"I look great, but your smile is a little wonky. Let's try again," Chloé said, taking another photo.
"Sorry, I'm just a little camera-shy," Ladybug said, walking away.
"Looks like you have a fan," Cat Noir said with a grin.
"Great," Ladybug replied, not liking the sound of that.
"What's going on, Ladybug? You're acting weird," Frost Fang noted.
Ladybug glanced down at a sheet of paper and realized it was Nathaniel's sketch of him saving Marinette—except Chloé had drawn big glasses and a mustache on Marinette.
"Ugh, seriously? That's it, we're leaving," Ladybug said, heading toward the balcony.
"What?" Frost Fang and Fire Blaze said, surprised.
"But what if the Evillustrator comes back and attacks her?" Cat Noir asked.
"Fine, you three stay. Later," Ladybug replied.
"What do you mean, *later*?" Cat Noir questioned.
"I mean, you three want to protect her, so you don't need me. So… later!" Ladybug said, pulling out her yo-yo and swinging away.
"Ladybug, text me, okay?" Chloé called after her.
Fire Blaze, Frost Fang, and Cat Noir escorted Chloé back inside. "What do we do now? If he comes back to get her, how are we supposed to capture his Akuma?" Cat Noir asked.
"I don't know, but until we figure things out, the only thing we can do is stay here," Frost Fang said.
"Yeah, he's right," Fire Blaze agreed, picking up the picture Ladybug had left. His eyes widened in shock as he recognized who was in it.
Sitting down at her desk, Chloé tried to work on her project. "Sabrina is so selfish, making me do this project by myself. Ugh, my brain hurts," Chloé whined, glancing over at the three heroes in her room.
"Hey, boys, are any of you good at particle physics?" Chloé asked flirtatiously.
"This cat has particle physics in the bag," Cat Noir said, trying to be charming.
"Great." Chloé pulled Cat Noir over to her seat and handed him a binder. "Sit, kitty. Now make it sound perfect for my presentation. See, I made a cat joke. I can be funny," she laughed.
"Yeah… hilarious," Cat Noir replied sarcastically.
"Frost Fang, I need you to stay here," Fire Blaze said before running off and jumping off the balcony.
"Did he just leave me?" Frost Fang asked, but it was too late—Fire Blaze was already gone.
Meanwhile, Fireblaze was running across the rooftops of Paris, talking to himself.
"Damn it, damn it, damn it. I knew I should've gone with you to the principal's office, Nathaniel. And now you've been akumatized… and you have a crush on Marinette, too. God, this is going to get complicated," Fireblaze muttered, until he saw Evillustrator flying away from Marinette's house with a jetpack.
"This just got complicated as hell," Fireblaze said, drawing one of his swords and throwing it at Evillustrator's jetpack, causing him to crash onto a rooftop. Fireblaze quickly jumped over and landed beside him.
"It's over, Nathaniel. Please, don't make me do this," Fireblaze said.
"I'm sorry! I just want Marinette to love me!" Evillustrator stammered as he drew a sword on his tablet. The weapon materialized, and he slashed at Fireblaze, forcing him to step back.
"Give me your Miraculous—now!" Evillustrator demanded, charging forward and swinging his sword at Fireblaze.
Fireblaze quickly drew his sword, blocking Evillustrator's strikes. He spun his blade, knocking Evillustrator's sword out of his hands, causing it to drop to the floor.
"Are you done now?" Fireblaze asked.
But Evillustrator swiftly drew again, this time creating a blaster. He fired plasma blasts at Fireblaze, who dashed across the rooftops, dodging each shot. Fireblaze leapt off the roof, bounced off a wall, and rolled behind a garbage can, lifting the lid as a makeshift shield. The plasma blasts melted the garbage can lid in moments.
"Damn it," Fireblaze muttered, moving quickly. He saw Evillustrator descending toward him with a hammer, and he rolled out of the way, springing back to his feet.
The two stood, locked in a tense stare, each preparing for the next move.
"This can be over soon. All you have to do is give me your miraculous," Evillustrator said, making the hammer vanish.
"No, I can't do that," Fireblaze replied, readying his blades.
"Fine. If I can't do it myself, let me introduce you to some friends," Evillustrator sneered as he quickly sketched six figures, which materialized around Fireblaze.
"Oh, that's a low blow," Fireblaze muttered as Evillustrator leapt onto a nearby rooftop.
"Enjoy my Sinister Six!" Evillustrator taunted before drawing a jetpack and flying off.
Fireblaze looked around, recognizing the villains that had appeared: Dr. Octopus, Sandman, Scorpion, Hydro-Man, Electro, Shocker, and Venom.
"Well, this is going to be fun," Fireblaze said, drawing his swords and bracing himself for battle.
Fireblaze gripped his swords tightly, eyes darting between each villain. Sandman moved first, his arm morphing into a giant fist and swinging toward Fireblaze.
"Let's see how you handle a sandstorm!" Sandman growled.
Fireblaze leapt backward, avoiding the sand fist as it smashed into the rooftop, sending dust and debris flying. With a quick flick of his wrist, Fireblaze sent a blazing slash through the dust, slicing Sandman's arm clean off, only for it to reform instantly.
"Oh, come on! You're tougher than you look," Fireblaze muttered.
Just then, Hydro-Man shot forward in a wave of water, crashing toward him. Fireblaze spun out of the way, but the water twisted midair, morphing into a giant hand that tried to grab him.
"Let me cool you off!" Hydro-Man taunted, as Fireblaze barely dodged the liquid grasp.
"Sorry, but I run a little too hot for that!" Fireblaze quipped, plunging his sword into the watery hand, sending a sizzle of steam as flames evaporated the water. Hydro-Man recoiled, reforming back to his human shape.
Then, Dr. Octopus came from behind, his metallic arms extending to try to wrap around Fireblaze. Fireblaze twisted, using his swords to slice through one of the metal arms, but they quickly retracted and reformed, snapping toward him again.
"You really think you can handle all of us?" Dr. Octopus sneered. "You're outnumbered, kid."
"Numbers don't scare me," Fireblaze replied, eyes gleaming as he spun his blades, igniting them in a fiery arc. "But you might want to be careful with all these metal parts!"
With a powerful swing, he sent a wave of flames down the rooftop, momentarily forcing the villains to step back. But Electro seized the opening, shooting bolts of electricity straight at Fireblaze. Fireblaze raised one of his swords, deflecting the electricity with the metal blade, sparks flying off in every direction.
"Shocking performance, but you'll have to try harder!" Fireblaze taunted.
"Oh, you'll get more than you can handle," Electro sneered, amplifying his power and sending another, stronger bolt surging toward him. Fireblaze rolled to the side, ducking behind an air vent just as the electricity slammed into it, blowing it apart in a shower of metal and sparks.
Scorpion lunged next, his stinger tail slicing through the air with a deadly hiss. Fireblaze flipped backward, barely avoiding the venom-tipped tail, which slammed into the ground where he'd been standing.
"You're a slippery little bug!" Scorpion hissed, charging again.
"I'm not the bug, you are!" Fireblaze shot back, slashing at the tail. His blade connected, searing through part of the metal and causing Scorpion to stumble back.
Venom suddenly emerged from the shadows, tendrils whipping toward Fireblaze and wrapping around his legs.
"Looks like I've got you now," Venom growled, his fanged mouth twisting into a sinister grin.
Fireblaze struggled against the tendrils as they pulled him closer to Venom. Gritting his teeth, he summoned all his strength, his entire body igniting in flames that flared with a burst of heat. The tendrils singed and shriveled away as Venom recoiled, hissing in pain.
"Didn't anyone ever tell you? Don't play with fire," Fireblaze said with a smirk.
Venom growled in frustration, backing off momentarily, while Shocker moved forward, raising his gauntlets and releasing a powerful shockwave that sent Fireblaze skidding back. The blast left cracks in the rooftop and threw him off balance.
"Alright, enough games," Fireblaze muttered, catching his breath. "Time to turn up the heat."
With a deep breath, he channeled his energy, and flames erupted from his swords, their intensity doubling as he lunged forward. He spun in a powerful arc, sending a torrent of flames toward the villains, forcing them to shield themselves or retreat momentarily.
"Is that all you got?" Sandman taunted, reforming his fists as he stepped forward.
"Nope. I've got a lot more where that came from!" Fireblaze charged forward, sliding under Sandman's attack and slicing through his legs with both swords, sending the sandy villain collapsing to the ground before he quickly reformed.
As the Sinister Six surrounded him again, Fireblaze raised his blades, eyes blazing with determination. "Bring it on, because I'm not going down without a fight!"
Meanwhile, back at the Le Grand Paris Hotel...
"I'm starting to see why Ladybug left in the first place," Frost Fang said as he and Cat Noir received a call.
"Wow, it's only been a few minutes since you ditched us, and you already need our help," Frost Fang added.
"He's right. You can't just fly off and make catcalls, Ladybug," Cat Noir said as they stepped outside.
"I'm sorry, that wasn't cool," Ladybug replied. "But you three can leave Chloé. I need you to protect this girl instead." Ladybug sent them a picture of Marinette. "Her name is Marinette. Cute, isn't she? The Evillustrator is in love with her. He won't harm Chloé unless Marinette comes to his party. While he's distracted, I want you both to take him down."
"And what will you be doing?" Frost Fang asked.
"I have a very secret mission. Can you boys handle it?" Ladybug teased.
"Please, it'll be a cinch," Cat Noir said confidently.
As they turned to leave, Cat Noir popped his head back in to address Chloé. "You're out of danger. So, uh… later."
"Later? What about my presentation?" Chloé asked angrily.
"There's a little thing called studying; you should try it," Frost Fang said as they left. Just then, his dagger phone rang. He opened it and answered.
"Hello? Fireblaze, where are you, dude? Cat Noir and I are getting ready to go on a mission, and we need you," Frost Fang said.
"Okay, okay! Is Cat Noir with you right now? Please tell me he's with you, because I need backup *right now, like really right now!" Fireblaze's urgent voice crackled on the other line.
"What's wrong, hot wings?" Cat Noir asked, walking up to Frost Fang.
"I found out who the Evillustrator is—it's Nathaniel! I was fighting him one-on-one, but now he's summoned the Sinister Six, and I'm getting jumped right now. So please, for the love of God, help me!" Fireblaze exclaimed as the call ended.
Frost Fang and Cat Noir exchanged a glance, nodded, and took off running to help Fireblaze.
Back on the rooftops, Fireblaze found himself surrounded by the Sinister Six, each one blocking his escape with menacing expressions. He took a deep breath, tightening his grip on his swords as he prepared for the fight of his life.
"Well, well, look who's all alone," taunted Shocker, cracking his knuckles as he charged up his gauntlets. "This is gonna be fun."
"Fun for you, maybe," Fireblaze muttered, his eyes darting around, analyzing the villains surrounding him. "I'd rather not get pummeled by a bunch of knock-off sketches, but here we are."
"Oh, we're more than just sketches," Scorpion hissed, his tail lashing out like a whip.
"Enough talking!" Venom roared, leaping forward with his claws outstretched. Fireblaze barely had time to sidestep, his blade slashing out and nicking Venom's arm as he dodged.
"I'd say I'm honored to be ganged up on by the infamous Sinister Six, but honestly, I'm not impressed!" Fireblaze quipped, spinning his sword with a flourish.
Hydro-Man raised his arms, his body shifting into liquid as he surged forward. Fireblaze quickly leaped over him, using his other sword to slice through the water, though it did little to stop Hydro-Man. "I've fought puddles tougher than you," he taunted, rolling out of the way as Hydro-Man reformed.
"Keep talking, kid! Let's see if you're still joking when I'm done with you!" Sandman sneered, his arm transforming into a giant hammer and slamming down. Fireblaze narrowly dodged, the rooftop cracking under the weight of the sand.
"That all you got?" Fireblaze shouted, throwing his sword at Shocker, who deflected it with a powerful blast.
Fireblaze spun away, only to be caught off guard by Electro, who shot a bolt of electricity in his direction. The electricity coursed through his arm, making him grit his teeth in pain as he staggered backward.
"Can't dodge everything, can you?" Electro smirked, charging up for another shot.
Just as Electro was about to release another bolt, a familiar voice rang out from above.
"Need a hand, hot wings?" Cat Noir called, landing in a crouch beside Fireblaze with his baton at the ready.
"Or maybe a paw," Frost Fang added with a grin, landing on Fireblaze's other side.
"Perfect timing, guys!" Fireblaze panted, feeling a rush of relief.
"Alright, Sinister Six," Cat Noir said, spinning his baton. "Playtime's over."
The villains growled, regrouping as they eyed the three heroes.
"Alright, teamwork! Frost Fang, you take Sandman and Scorpion. Cat Noir, you keep Electro and Shocker busy. I'll handle Hydro-Man and Venom," Fireblaze instructed.
The three heroes nodded, splitting off to engage their assigned opponents.
Frost Fang charged at Sandman, who swung his massive sand fist down. Frost Fang dodged smoothly, sliding under Sandman's arm and sending an ice blast to freeze his leg in place. "Let's see how well you move with a little chill!" he said with a smirk.
Meanwhile, Cat Noir darted around Electro's electric blasts, using his baton to redirect Shocker's attacks back at him. "Shocking, isn't it?" Cat Noir quipped, grinning as he managed to knock Shocker off balance.
Fireblaze, meanwhile, was face-to-face with Venom. "Let's see if you can handle a real blaze," he said, his swords igniting with flames. He charged, slashing at Venom, whose tendrils recoiled from the heat. Hydro-Man lunged at Fireblaze from behind, but Fireblaze spun around, blasting him with a wall of fire that caused him to evaporate slightly.
With their combined efforts, the heroes began to gain the upper hand. Frost Fang delivered a final icy blow to Scorpion, encasing him in ice. "Guess you weren't as slippery as you thought!" he said.
Cat Noir struck Shocker with his baton, sending him tumbling into Electro and knocking them both out cold.
Fireblaze delivered a flaming slash to Venom, forcing him back as Hydro-Man reformed, glaring. "You're outmatched," Fireblaze said, raising his sword. "Give it up."
"Not a chance!" Venom roared, but just as he lunged, Cat Noir and Frost Fang joined Fireblaze, cornering him.
The Sinister Six looked at each other, realizing they were outnumbered. Growling in defeat, they backed off, disappearing one by one as their forms dissipated into sketches, leaving only the rooftop littered with scorch marks and frozen patches.
Fireblaze caught his breath, grinning at his teammates. "Nice work, guys."
"Anytime, hot wings," Cat Noir replied, giving him a fist bump.
Frost Fang chuckled. "Now, let's go find Ladybug and take down the real Evillustrator."
Walking out of her house, Marinette turned to see Sabrina waiting outside.
"Sabrina? You startled me," Marinette said, surprised.
"Sorry, I was just waiting for you. Did you get my messages?" Sabrina asked.
"Yes… yes, I did. And I was totally going to call you," Marinette replied.
"I knew you would… eventually. I did your Geography homework," Sabrina said, handing her a folder.
"Whoa, you didn't have to do that," Marinette said, surprised.
"Well, since you're my new best friend, it's the least I can do," Sabrina replied with a smile.
"Oh, wow… I'm sorry, but I can't accept this," Marinette said, trying to hand the folder back.
"Really?" Sabrina asked, looking disappointed.
"Well, maybe just this one time," Marinette said, not wanting to upset her.
"Great! So, want to start the project tonight?" Sabrina asked hopefully.
"I'm sorry, Sabrina, but I have something really important I have to do tonight. Can't you do the project with Leo?" Marinette suggested.
"I tried to call Leo, but he wasn't answering his phone. And, something important? That's funny—you know who else uses that excuse?" Sabrina asked.
"Uh, no…" Marinette replied, caught off guard.
"Chloe. I'm starting to see how similar you two are. I bet you expect me to do all the work, just like she did. Right?" Sabrina asked, frustration in her voice.
"What? No… I, uh…" Marinette stammered, struggling to find the right words as Sabrina took her folder back.
"I can't believe I actually did your Geography homework for you," Sabrina said, walking away.
As she left, Marinette muttered, "Of all the times you didn't want to pick up, now you decide to, Leo."
Just then, Fire Blaze, Cat Noir, and Frost Fang leapt down beside her.
"Whoa, I thought I was going to have to save you from that girl's claws. Get it? Claws?" Cat Noir said, getting down on one knee and reaching for Marinette's hand to kiss it, though she pulled away.
"Yes, I know who you are… and you're Fire Blaze and Frost Fang too. You guys save the day all the time and stuff. I'm Marinette. So… why are you here?" Marinette asked.
"We're here to take down Evillustrator, so don't worry. You'll be safe with us," Fire Blaze said confidently.
"Yeah, you can count on us, Marinette," Frost Fang added with a thumbs-up.
"That puts my mind at ease," Marinette said, as Cat Noir leaned in.
"But we are going to need some help. Care to assist some superheroes?" Cat Noir asked with a grin.
"What about Ladybug? Aren't you guys a team?" Marinette asked, turning around.
"She's busy, so tonight, you get to be my Ladybug," Cat Noir replied smoothly.
"Really?" Frost Fang muttered, face-palming as Fire Blaze's eye twitched in annoyance.
"Wow, me? With Fire Blaze, Frost Fang, and Cat Noir? Amazing! What do I have to do?" Marinette asked.
"Just get his pencil away from him, and we'll take care of the rest," Fire Blaze said as he, Frost Fang, and Cat Noir began to run off.
"First Ladybug, and now Marinette? Do you flirt with every girl you see?" Frost Fang asked Cat Noir.
"Yeah, please stop, 'cause I don't want to end up choking a cat," Fire Blaze added.
"Oh, like you two don't wish you could show off for the ladies," Cat Noir replied smugly, racing ahead.
"I'm going to kill that cat, I'm going to kill that cat," Fire Blaze muttered, running after him.
"Ugh, where's Ladybug when you need her?" Frost Fang groaned, before sprinting to catch up.
That night, on a decent-sized boat on the river, Evillustrator was doing everything he could to make the evening with Marinette romantic.
"What a lovely scene you're setting, but I don't want you to get distracted, boy," Hawk Moth said, speaking to him telepathically.
"I just want Marinette to love me," Evillustrator replied.
"And I want the Miraculous, so get it! Or else…" Hawk Moth said angrily, making Evillustrator's hand start to throb.
"Okay, okay," Evillustrator said, and the throbbing stopped.
"Happy Birthday," he heard, looking up to see Marinette walking aboard.
"Marinette. Thank you for accepting my invitation," he said, smiling.
"Wow, it's so beautiful," Marinette said, admiring the decorations.
"You like it? Well, hold on. I'm just getting started," Evillustrator said, lifting his pencil to draw something. But just then, clouds covered the moonlight. "Are you kidding me?" he yelled, startling Marinette. "Sorry to scare you; it's just hard to draw in the dark," he explained, moving toward a lantern for light.
Marinette noted this helpful information with a small smile.
"Voilà," he said, drawing a little moon over a small version of the Eiffel Tower.
As the boat floated down the river, Marinette sat with Evillustrator, watching as he created musical notes that danced in the air.
"You're so talented. Why would you want to use your talent to hurt people?" Marinette asked.
"Not all people—just Chloe. And I won't do it again. You kept your promise, so I'll keep mine," Evillustrator replied.
As they passed under a bridge, Cat Noir, Fire Blaze, and Frost Fang landed on the back of the boat.
"I actually draw a little too. I'm not as good as you are, of course," Marinette said.
"I'm sure you're great," he replied, smiling.
"Can I draw you something special for your birthday?" Marinette asked, signaling the heroes as she reached for his pencil.
"That would be amazing," he said, but then he heard footsteps and gasped. "Marinette, give me my pencil back! I need to draw something… now."
"No… I'm keeping it. Cat Noir, Fire Blaze, Frost Fang, now!" Marinette shouted as she ran, while Cat Noir extended his staff and Fire Blaze and Frost Fang prepared to jump in.
"You're with them? I'm so stupid. I thought you liked me, but you're just like Chloe. Teasing me, mocking me, leading me on!" Evillustrator shouted angrily.
"Seriously? Why is everyone comparing me to Chloe?" Marinette replied, frustrated.
Evillustrator kicked up Cat Noir's staff, knocking the pencil out of Marinette's hand. He quickly grabbed it.
Cat Noir, Fire Blaze, and Frost Fang all drew their weapons and leaped toward him, but Evillustrator created a large cube, dropping it over them and trapping the heroes and Marinette inside.
"And I'm taking back my promise. Chloe's going to get a lesson she'll never forget," Evillustrator said, drawing a hole in the boat's floor to let water flood in as he made his escape.
"Come on! Come on!" Fire Blaze said, trying to slice through the cube with his Swords.
"We're boxed in," Cat Noir said, attempting to lift it with his staff.
Marinette looked around and then pointed up. "Cat Noir, your staff—use it to lift us out!" she suggested.
"Great thinking!" Cat Noir said, wrapping an arm around her waist.
"Yeah, I'm a genius," Marinette muttered, moving his arm off and grabbing his shoulder while Fire Blaze and Frost Fang held onto the staff.
The staff extended, lifting the cube into the air and freeing them from the sinking boat.
"We've gotta go! A superhero's work is never done. Damsels in distress, villains to stop… you can thank us later!" Cat Noir said, dashing off.
Fire Blaze sighed, turning to Marinette. "We really appreciate your help, Marinette. Sorry we can't stay, but duty calls," he said, running after Cat Noir.
"At least Fire Blaze has manners. If it wasn't for me, they'd still be trapped," Marinette muttered as Tikki flew out of her bag.
"Speaking of which…" Tikki hinted.
"Those boys are going to need help saving Chloe," Marinette said, determination in her voice.
Back at the Le Grand Paris Hotel, Evillustrator was searching for Chloé as she hid from him.
"Chloé, where are you? Oh, that's so cute—you're playing hide and seek. Are you in the closet?" Evillustrator asked, causing Chloé to gasp.
Evillustrator erased the door to Chloé's closet and then erased all the dresses and shoes inside, prompting a scream that gave away her hiding spot. He then erased her bed, revealing her hiding place beneath it.
"I win, Chloé. Found you." He grinned.
"My designer dresses, my heels… You're a monster!" Chloé yelled.
"You love walking all over people, but you don't like it when others trample on you, do you, Chloé? Do you?" Evillustrator taunted, drawing a giant high heel to stomp down on her.
Chloé scrambled out of the way, trying to avoid getting crushed, when Ladybug's yoyo snapped through the heel, destroying the shoe.
Evillustrator turned to see Ladybug spinning her yoyo. "Oops, broke your heel. Better watch your ankles," Ladybug said as Cat Noir, Fireblaze, and Frost Fang arrived.
"Oh, now you show up," Frost Fang said, drawing his dagger.
"Look what the cat dragged in," Cat Noir said, pulling out his staff.
"No cat dragged me in, boys—I flew in all on my own," Ladybug replied confidently.
"We can talk about this later," Fireblaze said, drawing his swords.
"So, what was this secret mission?" Cat Noir asked.
"If I told you, it wouldn't be a secret," Ladybug smirked.
"In the comics, this would be the final showdown. The thing is, if you knew her, you wouldn't bother saving her. She's the real villain!" Evillustrator shouted.
"That's not true! Everyone adores me!" Chloé protested.
Evillustrator created giant boxing gloves that launched toward them.
"Look out!" Cat Noir shouted, spinning his staff to deflect the attack, but one glove knocked him onto the patio.
Fireblaze dashed forward and sliced one of the gloves in half, while Ladybug leaped over hers and threw her yoyo, destroying the glove aimed at Chloé.
Frost Fang used his dagger to slice through two more gloves headed his way.
Ladybug threw her yoyo at Evillustrator, but he created a wall to block it, then drew a spinning chainsaw blade that whirred toward them.
Fireblaze hurled his sword, deflecting the chainsaw, while Frost Fang and Cat Noir tossed their weapons, shattering it.
Cat Noir picked up his staff, split it into two, and hurled both pieces at Evillustrator. One missed but destroyed a light, forcing Evillustrator closer to the other one.
"The lights… Cat Noir, he can't draw in the dark!" Ladybug exclaimed.
"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir's ring glowed as he rushed to the light switch, but Evillustrator erased it, causing Cat Noir to accidentally destroy the wall instead.
"Here, kitty! How about a ball and chain to play with?" Evillustrator taunted, tying a heavy metal ball and chain to Cat Noir's leg.
"Hey!" Cat Noir snapped.
"Sadly, those who get in my way are erased." Evillustrator erased the floor beneath them, leaving Cat Noir dangling as his ring began to blink.
"Oh no! Not now!" Cat Noir panicked.
"Cat Noir's Miraculous! Take it now!" Hawk Moth commanded.
"Before you go, you have something I want," Evillustrator sneered.
"Guys, this cat doesn't have nine lives!" Cat Noir shouted.
Frost Fang's bracelet glowed as he took a deep breath and unleashed a powerful ice blast, sending Evillustrator flying backward and freezing his feet to the wall.
Fireblaze ran over to Cat Noir, drawing his sword and slicing through the chain.
"Good work! Lucky Charm!" Ladybug's yoyo spun, producing a bouncy ball. "A bouncy ball?"
"Just try and stop me with that, little lady," Evillustrator scoffed, breaking free from the ice.
"Ladybug, get ready to throw the ball," Fireblaze said, an idea forming.
Quickly, Fireblaze jumped into the air. "Solar Flare Burst!" he shouted as his necklace glowed. A small sun appeared in his hands, and he unleashed it, creating a blinding flash of light in front of Evillustrator, forcing him to shut his eyes.
Seeing her opening, Ladybug threw the ball with all her strength. It bounced around the room, destroying all the lights, leaving Evillustrator unable to see.
With him unable to draw, Ladybug hurled her yoyo, grabbing his arm and pulling him toward her, allowing her to grab his pencil and snap it in half, releasing the akuma.
"No more evildoing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize!" Ladybug exclaimed, trapping the akuma in her yoyo and turning it back into a butterfly. "Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!" She tossed the bouncy ball into the air, restoring everything to normal and reverting Evillustrator back to Nathaniel.
"What the… What happened?" Nathaniel asked, looking around in confusion.
"Pound it!" the four heroes said, fist-bumping each other.
From his hideout, Hawk Moth seethed. "No! The Miraculous were practically mine! But I will get them! Once I have them all, I will wield absolute power," Hawk Moth vowed.
The next day at school, Alya was interviewing Chloé for the Ladyblog.
"So, what happened when Ladybug, Fire Blaze, Frost Fang, and Cat Noir arrived on the scene?" Alya asked.
"Honestly, they only made things worse. They came barreling in and started smashing things with rubber balls," Chloé replied.
"Balls?" Alya asked, confused.
Nearby, Marinette giggled, and Leo chuckled from their lockers as Sabrina approached.
"I hope you two had fun taking care of that 'important thing' you had to do," Sabrina said, clearly unhappy.
"I'm really sorry, Sabrina, but I can meet you today to work on the project," Marinette said apologetically.
"Yeah, I'm sorry too," Leo added.
"Too late. Chloé and I are working on the project now," Sabrina replied.
"You mean you're doing the project," Marinette said.
"You know she's using you just to get an A, right?" Leo pointed out.
"Of course. After all she's been through!" Sabrina said, causing Marinette to groan.
"Nice new beret," Marinette noted.
"Yeah, it looks cool on you," Leo added.
"Thanks! Chloé lent it to me. She really is my BFF," Sabrina said, running off toward Chloé as Leo noticed Nathaniel walking past.
"Hey, Marinette, I'll catch you later, okay? Bye!" Leo said, running off to talk to Nathaniel.
"See you later, Leo!" Marinette replied, then closed her locker and noticed Adrien nearby.
"I heard about your adventure with Cat Noir, Fire Blaze, and Frost Fang. Weren't you scared?" he asked.
"What? No! I mean, it was like a dream. You're a dream—I mean, in your dreams!" Marinette stammered.
"Okay… so, what did you think about Cat Noir? Was he awesome?" Adrien asked.
"What? Oh, I mean, sure he was. Not as awesome as you—I mean, yeah," Marinette replied, stumbling over her words.
"So… is that a yes?" Adrien asked as the bell rang. "Well, see you later," he said, patting her on the shoulder before leaving.
"You do realize you just called Adrien awesome, right?" Tikki said.
"He touched my shoulder. I'll never wash this jacket again," Marinette sighed.
"You really need to get your feelings in check," Tikki said.
Meanwhile, as Oliver was about to head to class, he felt a hand grab his arm. He turned around to see Alya.
"Oh, hey, Alya," Oliver said nervously.
"So, mind telling me why you didn't show up to work on the project yesterday?" Alya asked.
"I'm sorry! Something came up at the last minute. Is there any way I can make it up to you?" Oliver asked.
"Hmm," Alya said, putting a finger to her lip. "I'll think about it and get back to you, but don't expect to be off the hook if you pull this again."
"I promise, if anything happens, I'll call you," Oliver said.
"You better," Alya replied, leaning in to kiss him on the lips before walking away to class, with Oliver following right behind her.
Leo walked over to Nathaniel, who was busy sketching in his notebook. With a grin, Leo slid a comic book across the table, catching Nathaniel's attention.
"Hey, man. Happy late birthday!" Leo said, smiling. "I missed it yesterday, but I think this might make up for it."
Nathaniel looked down and gasped. It was a first edition Spider-Man comic, signed by Stan Lee himself. "Are you serious?" he asked, his eyes wide. "This is amazing, Leo! Thank you so much."
"Glad you like it," Leo replied, shrugging. "And, uh… sorry I couldn't go with you to the principal's office yesterday. I know you got caught drawing in class. I should've been there."
Nathaniel waved it off with a small smile. "It's okay. They just gave me the usual warning."
They shared a laugh, but then Leo looked thoughtful for a moment. He hesitated before asking, "Hey, can I ask you something? Do you still, you know… have feelings for Marinette?"
Nathaniel paused, then shook his head. "No, not anymore," he said, his tone relaxed but genuine.
Nathaniel glanced at Leo, curious. "What about you? Do you have feelings for her?"
Leo nodded, looking a little embarrassed but honest. "Yeah, I do. But she's totally into Adrien. I don't think she even notices me that way."
Nathaniel gave him a reassuring smile. "You never know, man. Just keep being yourself. She might come around."
Leo smiled back, grateful for the encouragement. "Thanks, Nate."
They shared a nod, understanding each other a bit better.
