Chapter Fourteen
Samuel exited the car and walked over to the Mafia.
He grasped his fists and strode up ready to confront the group who wounded the innocent Jason as well as protect Alexandra.
Antonella meanwhile smirked as she watched him approach, meanwhile Butch twirled his gun on his finger.
"Here he is!" he smirked "Just who you were looking for Boss Lady."
Samuel glared.
Despite the fact this was a dangerous group of criminals with guns and other weapons, he wasn't going to be intimated by them.
A man of honour and justice, he was ready to fight them and walk away the victor and hopefully get justice for Jason for what they did to him.
"What the hell do you want with me?" Samuel asked looking at Antonella who glared back.
"The money that you swiped!" she hissed to which Samuel's eyes widened as he couldn't believe it.
Of course, he knew a lot of people to be sore losers if they didn't win the fight or those who bet on a fighter didn't win, but they never tried to kill another fighter because of that.
"Are you serious!?" Samuel exclaimed "That's what this is all about? You damn near killed someone that had nothing to do with this and tried to shoot us because of money!?"
Antonella glared holding up the hairpin that still had Jason's blood on it.
"When I intend to get what I desire, I will do all I can to get it!" she hissed "After I promised my superiors!"
Samuel growled.
"If you want the money." He spat "Then you can fucking take it!"
Antonella smirked.
"Very nice," she said, "I knew you'd see reason."
She clicked her fingers and Boris and Butch walked over.
"Search him!" she ordered.
"Gladly!" Boris said then he and Butch walked to Samuel.
Boris took out a gun and pointed it at Samuel's face whilst Butch started patting him down.
"Where are you hiding that check?" he asked to which Samuel spat on the ground, but he heard Boris click the gun.
"Any tricks and I'll pump your brain full of lead Nigger!" Boris snarled.
Samuel bared his teeth at Boris as Butch continued to pat him down then he felt something in one of Samuel's hoodie pockets and he reached into it.
"Ah ha!" he pulled out the object and soon found a black box.
Samuel's eyes widened then Boris opened it up to reveal it to be a plain silver ring with some engravings on it.
"Well, well, well." One of the female members Rosa exclaimed "Was the black boy gonna propose?"
Florence meanwhile looked at the ring.
"Huh! Looks too plain to be an engagement ring!" she drawled.
"Don't girls prefer diamonds?" Enzo asked looking over.
Samuel glared yet he didn't dare try anything in case Boris really did try to shoot him, but he soon saw Antonella was getting inpatient and she turned to her followers.
"Stop fucking around!" he spat "Butch? Have you found the check or not?"
Butch patted Samuel down more and checked his pockets.
"No m'am." He reported "I checked all his pockets!"
"What?" Antonella snarled then looked over at the car remembering Alexandra was in there.
"Wait..." she said.
Seeing Antonella's suspicious look, Samuel went pale, and his eyes widened in terror as he realised what she was planning and he also remembered he had given Alexandra the check to look after!
"No!" he said "No!" yet he felt Boris push his gun into his cheek.
"Don't move an inch!" he threatened and Butch grabbed Samuel's arms and Enzo went over to help.
Meanwhile, Antonio, Rosa and Florence went over to the car.
"No!" Samuel shook his head "No...Alex! No!"
In the car, whilst Samuel was confronting the Mafia, and despite her worry for her boyfriend, Alexandra had been trying to investigate Jason's stab wound trying to find a way to stop the bleeding yet despite her skills, she didn't have the right equipment and she could see Jason was struggling to stay alive.
"No! Jason! Please!" she begged "Stay with me!"
Jason looked over at Alexandra, blood pouring from his mouth and Alexandra could see he was fading away despite her efforts.
"No! Jason!" she pleaded, despite knowing it was hopeless, she didn't want to give up hope and kept pressing on his wound to stop the bleeding, yet she got his blood all over her hands and sleeves.
"Stay with me! Stay with me!" she said, yet she saw his eyes roll into the back of his head and his breathing slowly stopped then his body went limp.
"No! No! No! No!" Alexandra started to sob "Oh God! Jason! No! I'm so sorry!"
Alexandra lowered her head, yet she didn't have a chance to mourn the innocent man before the car door opened and she heard a gun get cocked behind her!
"Get out of the car!"
Alexandra turned around and she saw Rosa pointing a gun at her and she squeaked in fear.
"Get out of the car!" Rosa ordered and Alexandra quickly obliged yet she picked up her purse at the same time and with Rosa's gun pointed at her head she got out of the car and was led to Antonella.
As she did, Alexandra saw Samuel looking terrified.
"Don't you fucking dare hurt her!" he barked yet Boris punched him in the stomach making him kneel over.
"You're not in any position to be giving orders Blackie!" he smirked.
"No!" Alexandra cried seeing her boyfriend get hurt, then seeing red, she reached into her purse and pulled out her stun gun and pepper spray.
She turned to Antonio and charging the stun gun she drove it into his crotch and the man yelled in pain dropping his gun and grabbing his crotch in pain!
"Ahhhhh! Ahhhhh!" he bellowed 'My balls! My fucking balls!"
As Antonio fell to the ground, Rosa gasped yet she didn't get the chance to do anything before Alexandra sprayed her in the eyes with her pepper spray and she too dropped her weapon before grabbing her eyes.
"Ahhhh fuck! My eyes!" she screamed in pain.
As that happened, Samuel saw his chance to pull himself free of Butch as he was distracted then strike Boris in the hand knocking away his gun and kicking him in the chest sending him flying then turning to Butch who tried to grab him before grabbing his arm and snapping it making him yell in pain!
"Arrghh!" Butch yelled "Motherfucker!"
As that happened, Antonella, Enzo and Florence pulled out their guns and as Enzo and Florence went over to Samuel, Antonella turned to Alexandra and held up her own weapon and Alexandra froze in fear.
"Where's the check bitch!" she spat 'Where is it! I know you have it!"
Alexandra looked at Antonella then turned to Samuel who stood up, yet he held up his hands as Florence and Enzo kept their guns on him.
"Give me the check!" Antonella shouted "Give it to me! Or I'll shoot you right here where you stand!"
Alexandra glared.
"Why should I?" she asked defiantly.
Antonella glowered again.
"I won't ask again bitch!" she spat "Unless you want yourself and your nigger boyfriend pushing up daisies, you will give me the check!"
"Do it Alex!" Samuel shouted "Please! Your safety is more important!"
Alexandra turned to Samuel.
"What?!" she demanded "And waste all you worked for?"
"No!" Samuel barked "Your life is more important than an amount of money! Please Alex!" he pleaded.
Antonella smirked at Samuel then looked to Alexandra.
"You heard your lover! Hand over the check!"
Alexandra glared.
She couldn't believe it that a criminal gang would sink so low to kill someone then go after her and Samuel for the dollars he worked so hard to earn through his fights, especially since there were many people in the world, herself included who spent their life trying to help and save lives for less.
She reached into her bra where she had the check and glowered.
"Fine!" she spat "I'll give you the check, just let Samuel go!" she ordered.
Antonella licked her lips then looked to Samuel who nodded quickly.
"Yes! She'll give it to you! Don't hurt her!"" he said.
Antonella smirked and looked at Florence and Enzo.
"Very well." She said, "Let the nigger go!"
Florence and Enzo glared but they lowered their guns and Butch scowled as he held his broken arm.
Samuel stood up and pushing Enzo and Florence away from him walked over to Alexandra who in turn took out the check and started to hand it to Antonella.
"Good girl..." Antonella smirked as she held out her hand for the check.
Alexandra reached over to the Mafia Boss lady, yet just as she was about to hand the check over, she withdrew and with her other hand she jabbed her stun gun into her hand!
Antonella screamed in pain as she doubled over holding her injured hand, then Alexandra punched her hard in the face!
"That's for Jason Bitch!" Alexandra screamed as she ran to Samuel and he in turn took her hand and they started to run!
"Let's go!" Samuel shouted and Alexandra nodded as she ran with him.
Yet Rosa who had recovered from being sprayed in the eyes turned to the couple and pulled out her gun.
"Oh no you don't!" she snarled and pointed her gun at Alexandra before firing!
As she did, Alexandra screamed as the bullet tore through her lower back and out through her shoulder making blood spray out and she stumbled forward!
"Alex!" Samuel shouted in fear as his girlfriend collapsed forward in pain and bleeding and he caught her before lowering himself down to the floor.
"Alex! No!" he sobbed as he held her and studied her wound "Oh my God...no!"
Rosa smirked and blew on the top of the barrel of her gun.
"You don't mess with the Chicago Outfit!" she hissed.
"Good shot there!" Butch smirked and they started to walk over to Samuel who held Alexandra close to him as she bled.
"You...you bastards! Cowards! You fuckers!" Samuel sobbed furiously looking up at the gang.
Antonella meanwhile walked over furious.
"I gave you a chance to hand over the money peacefully, but you decided to be stupid! Now you'll pay the price!"
Samuel held Alexandra close as he glared at Antonella.
"Sam..." Alexandra breathed as she clung to him.
"Alex..." Samuel whispered as he kissed her forehead and tears formed in his eyes as he knew very well given the situation, they were not going to get out of this alive.
"Finish them!" Antonella ordered and the Mafia members took out their guns.
"Gladly!" Boris smirked.
"I'm gonna enjoy this!" Antonio chuckled.
"Any last words Nigger?" Antonella asked folding her arms as she got ready to watch the execution.
Samuel gritted his teeth and holding Alexandra close to him as well as holding her hand he lifted his free hand and gave them the middle finger.
Antonella scoffed and glared.
"Very well!" she glowered "Shoot him!" she barked and at once the mafia shot their guns at Samuel and Alexandra!
As the bullet hit them, Samuel fell backwards next Alexandra who sobbed and cried in pain, yet she grasped his hand.
"Sam..." she wept as she felt it hard to breathe as the bullets penetrated her organs "I love you so much..."
Samuel didn't reply given how many times he was shot he was unable to speak, but he squeezed her hand back in reply.
Meanwhile seeing the couple down and bleeding, Antonella walked over and smirked.
"Find that check!" she ordered to which Enzo and Boris walked over to Samuel and Alexandra.
"Such a shame." Butch smirked as he lowered himself to Samuel as Boris felt over Alexandra searching for the check "Such a hot little bitch!"
Samuel glared at Butch despite his pain and that he was bleeding to death, meanwhile Alexandra looked to Boris as he felt over her breasts and spat a mix of saliva and blood into his face!
Boris recoiled in disgust and pointed his gun at Alexandra's head, yet Florence stopped him.
"Easy Boris." She said, "The slag is already dead, she won't last much longer."
Antonio snarled yet he nodded and kept feeling about until he found what he was looking for.
"Yes!" he said as he pulled out the check from Alexandra's bra that had spots of blood on it.
"Good job!" Antonella smirked and was about to take it when a horn was heard as well as some lights on full beam headed their way!
"What the...?" she cried looking over to see a van coming towards them!
"Scatter!" she screamed, and they instantly ran in different directions to avoid the vehicle!
Alexandra and Samuel meanwhile were too weak to move but they saw the Mafia run away as the van appeared.
Samuel looked to Alexandra and coughed and spat up blood as he tried to speak to her, yet he passed out before he could.
Alexandra sobbed and tried to cry out, yet she couldn't, yet as she felt herself starting to lose consciousness she heard voices as well as saw a couple of inhuman shapes above her.
