This is Part II of the Golden Story Special. Last time, after Rhino and Scorpion were recaptured, Spyro, Cynder, and Spider-Man got a call from MJ, indicating there's only one place left to search for this Devil's Breath lab, Norman Osborn's personal files. And since Spidey and company already searched the office, it could only be in his penthouse. The trio agreed to let them search, so long as the others call on them is anytging goes wrong. So, how's this going to go? Read on to discover...

(Our scene picks up right as the last one concludes, only in the lobby of Norman Osborn's penthouse apartment building, with MJ, Ember, and Flame walking in as Spider-Man, Spyro, and Cynder take up their post a few blocks away.)

MJ: Thanks Pete, wish us luck. (Hangs up)

Ember: Okay, what's the plan?

Flame: Norman's penthouse is on the top floor of this building, but the elevator's on lockdown.

MJ: We'll need to get to the security office to unlock it. Here we go.

(Moving through the lobby, MJ, Ember, and Flame soon spot the security office, only to see it's guarded by Sable operatives)

Ember: There's our destination, but those guards won't even come close to letting us in.

Flame: (Looks around at the crowd of angry residents) The other residents are pretty pissed off at the situation. Maybe we can use that to our advantage...

MJ: I like what you're thinking, Flame. You two try to rile up the crowd, I'll get into the security room if this works.

(So with that, the trio splits up and starts sowing discord among the crowd)

Resident: Has anyone seen Osborn? I swear this sort of stuff never happens to him.

Flame: The mayor and his friends are exempt evidently. I just saw security let one of his biggest donors up right away.

Resident: I knew it! It's all one big rich boys club.

Second Resident: Ugh! Every second we spend down here, we risk catching that plague!

Ember: Probably a good idea to stay away from the receptionist then. They've been coughing up a storm.

Second Resident: What?! This is outrageous! They have to let us back upstairs!

(While all of this goes on, MJ watches for her opportunity, and once Ember and Flame have sown enough discord among the building's resident, the security door opens as security tries to calm the mob)

MJ: There's my chance. Just got to get in there without being seen.

Security Officer: Everybody stay calm, Sable International has almost finished their sweep.

Third Resident: You said that an hour ago!

(As the Security Officer makes his announcement, MJ sneaks in behind him and his colleagues, picking up a stun gun as the door shuts.)

MJ: Hello. I know a few Sable agents who would love to meet you.

(Now armed with a stun gun, MJ makes her way to the security office, stunning every Sable agent she comes across, and before she knows it, she's at the security desk, just about to unlock the elevator)

MJ: There we go. Chalk up another victory for Mary Jane Watson, super spy. (Thinks back on that line) That sounded cheesy just thinking about it.

(Pressing a few keys on the keyboard, MJ unlocks the elevator, by activating some kind of alarm in Osborn's penthouse, which the security cam feed reveals has both him and Silver Sable in it.)

MJ: They're on their way down. Now to rejoin the others and get to the penthouse.

(With that, MJ sneaks out of the security office and rejoins Ember and Flame in the lobby, only to see the mob is still formed as Silver Sable and Osborn arrive in the lobby)

MJ: (Seeing the mob) Good thing you two are on our side, because you're too good at setting up an angry mob.

Ember: (Seeing Silver Sable and Osborn) I see you got the elevator working.

MJ: Yep.

Flame: Then let's hurry up before they notice us.

(And with that, the trio sneaks into the elevator, riding it all the way up to the penthouse, as our tale ends for today)
