Mirror Maiden groaned when she saw the card in her starter pack. Now, she didn't mind Statistical Analyst Aether or Cringe Lord Aether. Heck, she was okay with pulling a Qiqi. But why the heck did she get Bumble Aether as her rare foil?! This had to be by far, her least favorite Aether in the whole TCG.
First off, it had ludicrously high energy costs. You would have to spend a hundred energy just to get some kind of action from it. Second, it was one of those collab cards done with another company which was never a good sign. Third, it was basically the same as Scam Artist Aether. Seriously, who the hell signed up for a dating program where you had to pay 100 Mora just to see if anyone liked your profile?
"Can't buy me love my butt," she grumbled. Honestly, she would rather have Gacha Game Aether. At least then, she'd have a chance to get something for all the energy she invested.
"I freaking hate Bumble Aether," she grumbled.
Mirror Maiden reached for her second booster pack, hoping against all hope that this time, she'd get the ultra-ultra-ultra rare Male Escort Aether Shirtless Edition. She got the gross Redneck Aether first. Xinyan liked this card, but it wasn't for Mirror Maiden. Her next card was Clothes Melting Acid Aether who was regrettably completely clothed. Seriously, why have clothes melting acid if he wasn't at least shirtless? The other cards were equally unimpressive: Hockey Aether, Twitter Aether (despite what that dimwitted Ella Musk insisted, nobody would call that crap X Aether), and Hidden Reptilian Aether. The lucky foil this pack was…
"Seriously?" she scowled. "Freaking NFT Aether?!"
"You too, huh?" Cryo Cincin Mage sighed from her side of the table. "I'm pretty sure these packs are bootleg. Dori might be a scammer, but even she wouldn't touch Cryptokitties with a fifty-foot pole."
"Sure hope not," muttered Mirror Maiden. "That's the last thing I want in my wholesome Traveler TCG. So, what else did you pull?"
"Politically Correct Aether, Canadian Aether, Better Help Aether, Flappy Aether, and freaking FNAF OC Aether."
"Seriously? I didn't know we were that desperate for views."
