Eula had been up to her usual tsundere habits when Lisa suddenly said, "For goodness' sake, dear. You don't have to be so prideful around us. We know you have a crush like the rest of us."

"I do not have a crush on Aether!" she snapped.

Lisa raised an eyebrow. "I never said anything about Aether."

Eula short-circuited.

The librarian couldn't help chuckling at Eula's expression, which made the blue-haired knight even more flustered.

"Grr, mark my words, vengeance will be mine!"

"Eula, it's okay," said Lisa gently. "We've seen each other naked—I know what you're like with him in bed. You don't have to pretend like you don't love him."

"That's preposterous!"

"No, preposterous is keeping up this charade," Lisa muttered. "Seriously, we know you love him. Yesterday, you were mumbling about how much you wanted to kiss him."

"T-that's… you misheard. I said that I don't miss him. Yes, that's it."

"Right. And I suppose you didn't say, 'I want to play with his body' while smelling his last letter."

"N-no. All I said was, um," Eula pursed her lips, "that I … 'I won't be gay with anybody!' Yeah, that's all."

"Judging by the last orgies, I think that ship has sailed," Lisa muttered. "And when you said, 'I hope he still loves me'?"

"I said that er… 'I've got a lot of pee!'"

"How is that less embarrassing than admitting you have a crush?" Lisa said with a flat expression. "Girl, you're down bad for him."

"Am not!"

"Oh? Then, I suppose you'd be willing to forfeit your next date with him? After all, you don't love him so…"

Eula hissed like a bristling territorial cat. Lisa quirked a smile as if to say: Told you so.

Flushing red, Eula averted her eyes and folded her arms across her chest. Once more, Lisa chuckled in her knowing way.

"Mark my words," she growled, "vengeance will be mine!"

"I'm sure he misses you too, Eula."

"So?! I don't care! It's not like I steal his old bedsheets and get off smelling them!"

Floating nearby, Tubby let out a sigh. "So, that's what happened to those. Please return them when you're done. Preferably, wash them first."

The Adeptus floated to the laundry room, leaving Eula even more embarrassed.
